This is regarding my order on paytm with ID [protected]. Total amount INR 15012 paid at the time of placing the order & delivery address was my brother’s address in Udaipur. The order was placed to paytm on 21st Jan-2016 & expected delivery was 30th Jan-2016.
After 2 days, when the item got shipped from seller, I got a tracking number (safe express).
Day 7 after placing the order (on 28th Jan-2016): As 7 days were gone so I thought to check the status on safe express & the status of order was “Delivered.” I immediately called my brother asked him whether he has got the products or not & answer from him was “No.” I immediately rechecked status on safe express & on going through the details I got to know that it was showing items delivered to someone in Ahmedabad.
I immediately called the paytm customer service. After waiting for 10 mins, I was connected with a customer service representative. I explained him the issue & after having discussion with him, he assured me that paytm will look on this issue & he will forward my issue to concerned team & I will get acknowledgment mail from paytm on this issue.
Day 7 disaster continues:
After 1 hour of my call with paytm customer service center, I got a mail from paytm stating that they cannot cancel my order as it is in transit. I got shocked when I saw this e-mail. My issue was that items got delivered to wrong address & they sent me the mail stating that my order can’t be cancelled. Are you serious??
I immediately called paytm customer service again & after waiting for 10 minutes I was connected to a different customer service agent. I had heated discussion with that guy & I told him to connect me to his seniors. After waiting for 10 minutes, my call was connected to his senior Mr. Piyush Goyal. I explained him the issue again from zero. He assured that the issue will be forwarded to concerned team member & it will be resolved in next 24-48 hours.
Day 8: When paytm crossed the all levels of poor customer service:
On 29th Jan-2016, at 1:59 PM, I got a message, an email & a notification on my paytm app. All of the messages were stating that my items under order ID [protected] are delivered to the address in Udaipur. I was happy that paytm has solved the issue in no time.
WOW…..But wait….
I called my brother in Udaipur to get the confirmation on delivery of order & he again told me that he hasn’t received anything. I immediately checked status on safe express & it was the same, “items delivered to someone in Ahmedabad.”
I called again the paytm customer service number. I was connected to a new agent & I had to explain everything to him again.
Now I doubt if paytm will solve the issue or they will again send some wrong message or email to me.
@PAYTM: Are you in business of harassing the customers or serving the customers? There are serious issues with the way you internally coordinate with each other.
This is the worst experience I had with any of the e-commerce site in India.
In past, I had minor issues with Amazon & Flipkart as well, but the manner in which amazon & flipkart has resolved the issue was pretty satisfactory & amazing.
@Paytm –In the race of being different & better than amazon, flipkart & snapdeal, you are even not matching 50% of what customer service they are offering. Go & learn some lessons on customer service from amazon.in.
it was sealed pack without any tempering to it when i opend and check product, i found out that there is missing Ear Phone Mobile, i have raised incomplete order complaint on paytm site with ticket no. 04835000, 04834960
