I have ordered for a mobile phone (LAVA PIXEL V1) through PayTM by making an online payment from my bank on Jan 1st 2016 and received the order on 7th Jan 2016. This order was delivered at the reception of the guest house and not to the person as mentioned in the delivery address.
This packet was neatly wrapped with PayTM cover. After opening the cover, we were able to see the LAVA mobile box packed with a thin plastic cover. After tearing the cover we could find that the SEAL of LAVA company is cut with a sharp instrument.
Inside the box we found only 2 tile pieces wrapped neatly with celotape and placed in the mobile place. All the accessories of the mobile were also missing. On 9th Jan 2016 this was identified when the gift was opened on a very special day.. I stood in the very false position with my dearest one for whom I gave this gift. I raised the complaint with PayTM immediately. As a part of their investigation they took lot of time and asked me to fill disclaimer form, later asked me to revise it again with mentioning seller name "Areva Solutions PVT LTD" and not on PayTM name. Later, after many follow ups and i had gone through a mental pressure to make follow ups and draft emails and the time taken for them was from 9th till 16th to refund the money.. They did not refund the amount to my bank account, instead they transferred to PayTM wallet.
I could not transfer the amount back to my bank from wallet. There are several restrictions to transfer amount to my account which are stated below :
· 4% of the amount will be deducted & the rest will be transferred to your bank
· A minimum balance of Rs. 2000 is required in your wallet to be able to transfer money to a bank account.
· To transfer your money for a failed order, go to Your Orders, select the order and click on "Refund to Bank". The money will be refunded to the source bank/card, from where the order was paid without any extra charges.
I have the following issues to get resolved.
1. I need the amount to be transferred from PayTM wallet to my bank (from which I had made the payment).
2. I need a new mobile (LAVA PIXEL V1) in compensation for making me stand in false position.
3. I need an apology letter from PayTM Management and not from customer care to me and to my friend to whom it was delivered as a gift.
