[Resolved] Paytm Mobile Solutions — kyc update - insisting on 12 digit aadhar no. and authentication by virtual id cannot be done | |||
Paytm is allowing minimum kyc update through driving licence, voter id passport, etc. But when the verification centre is contacted they are insisting on biometrics with aadhar card no.-even e kyc offered can't be done by entering the 16 digit virtual aadhar id legislated on 4-4-18 by uidai (When details of virtual id are entered the entire 16 digits are not accepted) and 12 digit aadhar no. Is requested for. I fail to understand why the company needs our data when govt. Has introduced privacy - i shall complain to the rbi ombudsman if our virtual id is not accepted by the company-the company has not credited to our account the cashback we had earned-instead has cancelled the cashback transaction after cancelling the min. Kyc request. Amazon is a worldwide company and it has completed kyc with submission of driving licence only then where does such small companies like paytm, mobikwik, etc. Stand-even freecharge is allowing credit of cashbacks and their usage.
