The enquiry entrusted by CVC, CBI to CVO and other authorities to CMD Punjab national bank New Delhi is down marked to the officers of PNB. These officers generally give protection to their subordinate officers by manipulating the records. Enquiry into the transfers, promotions and loans sanctioned may kindly be enquired into to know the irregularities committed by these officers. It must be brought to notice, how many loans have become NPA and how much financial loss has been done to PNB by these offices. The enquiry into these matters may be entrusted to the officers other than PNB officers.

        my wife Harjinder Kaur withdraw the money from PNB branch sultanwind road, Amritsar at 1:10 PM, one of the note bearing no. 7BC 795260 of amount Rs. 1000 as fake, and we tried to contact branch on the same day (22nd august, 2012) but it was closed. My wife's ATM card No. is[protected]. I also sent this mail to [protected]@pnb.co.in, but no reply from PNB

          Dear Sir


          I am having a savings account no: [protected] with Punjab National Bank at Palwal Branch, I am possesing a debit card for the same account which I am having with myself. However, I was surprised to find that my account was debited a total of 1,25,000 on 24, 25 & 26th february 2012 in consecutive transactions of cash withdrawl and funds transfer. These transactions were neither performed by me nor I had authorised any of these. Even the debit card was in my possession when ATM tractions were done to withdraw cash.and transfer the funds through the ATM.
          I approached the bank officials to lodge my complaint who simply denied any help in this matter, then i loged a complaint with the police for this theft. But police has failed to lodge an FIR till now and no action has been taken against the bank or the person who stole my money from my account. Even the account no. to which funds had been transferred was traced by the bank records but still action has not been initiated.

          Kindly take necessary action against the guilty/erring officials and nab the actual culprit.

          I am Dharmendra Kumar, i have my bank account [protected] in PNB branch: Babu banarsi Das Society Lucknow. My ATM card have been theft from Anpara(Sonebhadra) and amount Rs 8400/- has been withdrawl 19.07.2013 at 7:58AM. I tried to lodge FIR but Police did not lodge FIR. I am contacting to Branch manager in this regard, they required FIR complaint Reciept. Now what will i do.

            Regarding : Ill-legal Change Sheet Dated 05/10/2009 served upon Sh.B.R.Mahi ( Manager) PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK LDM OFFICE HOSHIARPUR (PUNJAB) . A case of discrimination on the basis of schedule caste
            Sir,
            Vide your order dated 10/12/2011 my appeal against major penalty of compulsory retirement imposed upon me by the Disciplinary Authority of General Category i.e DGM,
            Circle office, Hoshiarpur has been rejected by yourgoodself . I want to submit following facts for your kind perusal and reconsideration in the above matter please .
            1) I am shocked to see this decision without any base and going into merits of the case . i was hoping that you will decide the case after going through the facts of the case . You did not care to go into the details of the case and my appeal dated 14/9/11 fully. I asked for the documents from the Bank to defend myself but these documents were not supplied to me before the Enquiry.
            2) Appeal means that you should have gone through the whole case and give your independent decision, but the decision taken by you is fully based on the facts presented by lower authority against whose decision appeal has been made, who all were belonging from general category and who all discriminated against me on the basis caste as I belong to scheduled caste.
            3) Lower authority presented the whole case in a biased manner and presented the case in a wrong manner. The wrong facts presented by lower authority have become the basis of your wrong & illegal decision whereas you should have studied the whole case in an impartial manner to give justice.
            4) Most of the charges which were proved against me while I was away to a foreign country. My leave was duly sanctioned by competent authority which is on record. This fact has been concealed by lower authorities from your good self. Copy of Passport is enclosed herewith for your kind perusal which clearly shows that during this period I was away from India.
            5) On 17/5/2005 I was posted in BO Rahon and charges relating to this period have been proved against me, how this is possible to prove charges against me and not against the manager working in BO, Usmanpur my predecessor.
            6) All loan A/cs has been fully secured with collateral security and there is no apprehension of loss to the Bank. These facts has been wrongly communicated to yourgoodself by the officers who belongs to general category who all discriminated me on the basis of caste as I belong to scheduled caste.
            Extenuating grounds
            7) That as per relevant facts of the case, the FDR was to be prepared by debit to SF account on[protected] for which, vouchers were prepared and the same were dealt with by the CTO and Sh.Harpal Singh, 2nd man in the branch. They both have signed the vouchers in token of having effected the transactions in the books of the bank and also signed the issued FDRs but inadvertently the SF account of the party was not debited by making the entry in the system. It was presumed by the party and by all o[censored]s that this SF account has been debited whereas it was not debited. But the fact remains that a sum of Rs.5.12, 000/- always remained in SF account in credit of the party which is evident from the Exbt M20 (b) thereby showing the credit balance of Rs.5, 12, 000/- on[protected] and thereafter on 16-08-09 Rs.5, 16, 000/-. It is also added that in terms of Exbt D6 which is a letter of the branch dated[protected], it has also been confirmed by the branch that as on[protected], the outstanding amount in the SF account remained Rs.5.50 lac. That the bank has never remained short of funds because in the SF account more than Rs.5.10 lac always remained and later on, OD a/c was also adjusted by debit to the SF account. Bank has not suffered any financial loss and the error has been inadvertent . The FDR was prepared in the hand Shri Dalwinder Singh, CTO, it was signed firstly by Sh. Harpal Singh, Dy.Manager and there after he has also not gained anything as Rs.5.50 lac remained in credit at a lower rate of interest 4%. Sh. Dalwinder Singh has been charge sheeted on other grounds but not in connection with this error .
            8) Loan was sarctioned – For purchase of Plot and not for repair and renovation of house. Moreover the loan A/c has been closed
            9) In Car loan A/cs Joint Rc’s was in the record file now both these accounts has been closed.
            Case of the defence
            10) That the charge has been proved without any evidence, without any document relating to domicile, without an examination of any witness thereby confirming the respective distance relating to the villages Barnala Kalan and Nawanshahr and thus, it has been a case of no evidence.
            11) That the allegation has been proved on the basis of dead evidence vide Exbt M131 (a-g) which is nothing but a circular wherein it is not provided that the villages in question were situated at a distance of 15 Kms from BO Usmanpur.
            12) That the gravity of the charge has not been significant because the loan account of Taranjit Pabla has since been closed on 28-10-09 from the FDRs and SF proceeds which have been under bank’s lien and that too within a period of less than two years. In this case, the date of sanction is 10-06-07 and the account was closed on[protected] for which, FDRs and outstanding amount in SF account to the tune of Rs.7.40 lac have been under bank’s lien against sanction of loan Rs.7 lac.
            13) That in the case of Suresh Madaan and Vishal Madaan, the loan was sanctioned and disbursed by Sh.M.L.Ahuja on[protected] when I was on leave w.e.f.[protected] to[protected] and was in Abroad vide Exbt D48.
            14) That gravity of the charge is not cognizable under any of the circumstances and it does not warrant a harsh punishment of my compulsory retirement from the bank’s services when I have been in the age group of 49 years only with remaining service of more than 10 years period.
            15) The decisions of various High Court / Supreme court have not been relied upon while giving your judgements.
            16) When ever any error /mistake has been committed by some one, the punishment imposed must be according to the gravity of the offence . You while giving your decision has totally relied upon the facts presented by lower authority who all belong to general category and you are also belonging to general category and not going carefully into the minute details of the case and spoiled the whole career of someone.
            17) That I always received meritorious and appreciation letters for my working as Incumbent Incharge.
            18) That my track record has been unblemished.
            19) That I had already put clean and clear service of 27 years in the bank and thus, it was necessary to see my track record of 27 years period.
            20) That there is no fraud in any of the cases except at the most may be foolish bonafide inadvertent procedural lapse, if any.
            21) That my wife has since been expired after prolonged expensive illness.
            22) That I have no son to take care of my family affairs.
            23) That I always received meritorious and appreciation letters for my That I have three daughters for their education and marriage.
            24) That I am suffering from the disease of Flaria which is uncureable.
            25) That I have no other source of income.
            26) That I do not have any past savings or funds in any shape or form or even I am not in a position to continue my family members with food, clothing, education, medical care and to discharge all other social and substantial and subsistent requirements for survival and to live with honour and dignity in the society.
            27) All sympathies as human being are required.
            28) That I was not the only person in the branch whereas all other officials have been exonerated for the same course of lapses and only I have been discriminated in the matter.
            29) Prayer
            30) Than an opportunity of personal hearing may kindly be accorded under the principles of natural justice, even if the same is not provided under any of the Regulations, so that I may be heard properly, patiently and sympathetically.
            31) That a lenient view may kindly be taken in the matter because at this age of about 50 years, I am unable to get employment anywhere whereas my wife has already expired, I have three daughters who are school and college going requiring financial assistance for their education and marriage whereas I am already suffering from Flaria in my leg which is un-cureble in the medical science. I have no other source of income whatsoever it may be and at the same time, I do not have any deposits or saved earnings in the past because lot of expenditure was incurred on the treatment of my wife etc.,
            32) That the order of ‘compulsory retirement’ is extremely disproportionate, unreasoned, harsh, shocking to the conscious of a reasonable man keeping in view that I have not been a beneficiary, there is no fraud case and the bank has not suffered any financial loss . Thus, the punishment is liable to be modified as reduced.
            33) You are requested to study the whole appeal of myself numbering into 100 pages yourself and take some personal pain / interest to amend your wrong and illegal decision and not to spoil the career of someone casually
            34) I will file the review petition separately after knowing from yourgoodself about the reconsideration of your decision .

                    i have account in Punjab national bank bank vasai east,gokhivara brach,on 9th may i tried to withdraw 1900rs twice from PNB ATM situated at vasai,but the money did not dispensed from the ATM instead they deducted 1900 twice from my account ie (3800), on 16th of may i received 1900 but the remaining amount ie 1900 is still pending its been almost 67 days and i did not receive my money

I contact your customer care.Customer care executive always register my mail id& home address. So i just wanted to my credit card statement my home address..

                      As per discussion held with Kiran Kumar on 7/1/2010 , we are sending you copy of our bank statement which shows that our cheque No. 581342 is cleared on 15/12/09, of amount for 43461, but the statement,dated Jan 02, 2010 which we received on 7/1/2010 shows that the same cheque is cleared of amount 4346.
                      we request you to please see the matter thorouly and credit the difference of amount 39115/-, and waive the interest charges of Rs.2973/- to our account, our customer id 3793406.

                      sir humbly requested that please sent my credit card as soon as possible . my booking at your office is AB W- [protected] ON DATE 23/07/2011
                      From about 3 months, I am not receiving any Credit Card Statement neither by mail not by posst for which I requested many times on [protected] but till I have not received any statement from September and so I am facing much difficulties. Please help me in receiving the same.

                        Dear Punjab National Bank.

                        I m your loyal customer since couple of years recently on 13.07.12, i went to withdraw some cash through PNB ATM at Badapur Border (South Delhi) at around 10.30am there was some problem in the machine, when i swap the ATM card in to the machine first time machine was showing only banking and keypad was not working after that i cancelled that transaction and then again i swap that card this time after banking, enter pin was on the screen and after that keypad was not working. i didn't enter any number or any kind of details in the PNB ATM. After that i went to the AXIX bank ATM and withdraw 5000Rs. After some time i received one SMS confirming transaction for the withdrawal of Rs 6000/- after my 5000Rs withdrawalSMS but no ATM Code was in the SMS.

                        After that i contacted PNB customer service but he give me my compliant number[protected] on Saturday (14.07.12) when i again contacted PNB Customer service and asked about my compliant then they told that my compliant was not registered and also tols that i have to call again on Monday as they didn't give any information on Saturday and Sunday. After that on Monday (16.07.12) i again contacted PNB customer service then they registered my compliant with new complaint no[protected].They told me that you will give get the reimbursement after 7days.

                        But on Friday 19.07.12 i received another SMS confirming that the transaction was successful. Then i again contacted customer service they told me that they didn't have any information about that SMS and told me that they need some time. After that on Monday (23.07.12) i again contacted PNB customer service they told that my compliant is rejected then they give me one number ([protected])and asked me to talk and explain your grievance on this number, when i contacted on this number the person told me to contact the PNB branch where is my Saving account.

                        I went to the PNB Branch Ballabgarh they told me that they cannot do anything about this as they have nothing to do with the ATM related grievance and asked me to contact ATM Cell.

                        I am in complete shock as after so much of mental and physical fatigue i was empty handed. Please so the needful in this regard at the earliest.

                          my complain is of yesterday (22 july 2012) i was trying to book my ticket from irctc site the site was too slow but still i was able to book one ticket and i was trying to book another ticket for my mother here the case is that the ticket was not booked but the amount was debited from my credit card. the amount is Rs.1960 /-
                          the request from my side is to please see to this matter and do refund my amount which was debited.

                              sir ,is vajah se meri fees ki last date bhi nikal gyi h .please aap koi thos kadam uthakar koi action lene ki kripa kare taki main apni aage ki padhai poori kar saku.

                                With Due reference I bring the following facts to your notice with a request for immediate action on your part:-

                                -That on 22 May 2012, I went to check my account balance against ,A/c [protected],Name of account : Sanjeev Garg, Branch : Kashmere Gate Delhi from punjab national bank atm at Narela with ATM Id H4491400 around 4:50 pm.

                                When i swiped my card on the machine , it asked me to select the service , Then I selected banking after that machine requested me too enter the pin . but the machine was hanged and didn't allowed me to enter pin. after that machine screen went white and 255 written on it.
                                After waiting for 2-3 minutes,I left the atm centre and thought machine is not working. But around 5.00 pm, I had message on my phone ([protected]) that your account is debited with Rs 15000/- from my account .

                                I can't surmise That how the money is being debited from my account where I haven't entered the pin or processed my request .

                                Same time i approached the Pnb customer care center who gave me the complaint no:57821994. They informed me that it will take seven working days to clear off the transaction And get money refunded.



                                ITS NEARLY A MONTH NOW BUT HAVENT RECIVED ANY REFUND AS WELL AS BANK DIDNT ARRANGE ANY COPY OF PHOTAGE TO THE TRANSACTION.

                                  PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION FOR DELAY IN CREDITING THE AMOUNT DEBITED THROUGH
                                  ATM CARD NO[protected] ON 13.05.2012 (PNB MEMNAGAR) S/B ACCOUNT
                                  NO [protected] BUT CASH NOT DISPENSED AT CITY UNION BANK ATM (ID CUBF 1435)

                                  I tried to withdraw Rs.10000/- on 13.05.2012 at around 21.13 Hrs from ATM of CITY UNION BANK, MEMNAGAR (ATM ID CUBF 1435), but after processing for about 2 minutes ATM machine went off line without disbursing either cash or transaction slip. Then I did balance inquiry at 21.15.25 Hrs & shocked to see that my account was debited by Rs.10000/- I informed the on duty ATM guard over there and got reply that in such cases the money gets credited in account automatically within 24 hrs. Having fear in mind that I might not get money again, went to another nearby ATM & withdrew Rs. 10000/- from SBI ATM (ID S10G[protected] at 21.25 Hrs. I received cash as well as transaction slip, so I did not mention about this transaction in any of my complaint.

                                  When I did not receive money even after elapse of 24 Hrs, then I approached the PNB Memnagar Branch. The Branch refused to take complaint & directed to lodge complaint on Customer Care. I lodged the complaint with PNB Customer Care on[protected] regarding non payment of Rs.10000/- at CITY UNION BANK ATM ID CUBF 1435 REFERENCE No[protected] on 13.05.12 & received complaint No 57777574.

                                  My claim turned down continuously by Punjab National Bank on a plea that transaction on 13.05.2012 at 21.25 hrs ATM ID S1OG[protected] was successful. How there can be so irresponsible & casual approach to a complaint. The reference being quoted every time was for the successful transaction of SBI ATM for which I did not complained.

                                  So I contacted City Union bank ATM cell and they responded to me saying that they have already intiated the transaction and paid the disputed amount to Punjab National bank on[protected], i forwarded the e mail that i received from City Union Bank to Punjab National Bank officials, requesting them to do the needful at the earliest. however they still put a deaf ear to my complaints.

                                  At last my account was credited by Rs.10000/- on 06.06.12 after delay of 22 days from the date of complaint without any compensation for the delayed period. An application for the compensation has already been given to PNB Memnagar Branch on 08.06.12, but no compensation has been paid till date, and time and again i am receiving the same reply from Punjab National Bank that " no penalty is to be give to the customer as complaint was lodged for wrong transaction."

                                  I do not understand that if i had complained for wrong transaction as claimed by Punjab National Bank,then how my account was credited back.

                                  I, therefore, request you to kindly advise the Punjab National Bank to credit compensation at the earliest for delayed period in reimbursing Rs.10000/- wrongfully debited on account of failed ATM transaction on 13.05.2012 at CITY UNION Bank ATM (ID CUBF 1435), where my account was debited but cash not dispensed.

                                  Punjab National Bank — ATM PNB-Amount Debited But Cash not recievd

                                  I withdraw Rs.15000 from Punjab National Bank ATM, branch Hisar Cantt.
                                  on 07/10/2009, which i didn't get the sum of rupees 15000, and has
                                  been deducted from my account.my transaction no is-ATM/CWDR/D141

                                  I have also submitted an application to branch manager of the same
                                  bank at the same time but they did not given me any complained no.

                                      i would like to say that i have a/c in punjab national bank.on 12 may 2012 my brother was going for withdrawn money from punjab national bank atm machine.when he enter pin code machine was hanged and not working anything.than he push clear and cancel button again again.. n wait 5to7minute but machine was not working . and after 2 minute i received message from bank 10000 rs debited from your a/c .. so than i register complaint on toll free no. n complaint no. is 57762404 after 10,to 15 days rejected complaint by head office n said contact with your bank where you have a/c . but today complete 1 month but bank donot take any action against them. i have watch cctv photage n bank also watch this. and in cctv photage it is clear that no amount is withdrawn by machine on that time. so i request you will take any action against bank..
