The water purified by your product is having value 770 when put MCD supply water of Hudson Lines(kinsway camp Delhi -9) into this purifier having TDS value of 286 itself.So instead of further purifying the MCD water it further increases the TDS value of water finally coming out for use which anyone knows that such water is unsafe for humans.Furthermore its sales agent makes certain claims which the company explicitly does not state anywhere and one can only get to know whether this purifier removes hardness of water or not only when you remember to ask this question to the sales agent about it.In my case sales agent(Anil Sharma) who came for demonstration told that to great extent it does remove hardness of water if not 100% and MCD water of my area is not that hard also so i will not be having any problem related to product.He, thus, makes false claims about removal of hardness of water which company's call centre and other sales agent(as told to one of my friend who purchased it last year) that it does not remove hardness. Also agent was in a hurry to go away after litlte explanation and installation of the product and more eager to pay for its price that very moment which I deffered till next day after talking to TSO of my area and next day he came much before the agreed time to take the payment in order to finalise the deal and thus to receive his commission soon from the company.I want to know as to why company claims its water to be 100% safe and at the same time does say that purifier does not remove water hardness at all and at the same time allows its some of its agents to make false statements on water hardenss on behalf of it.If this drama continues your product and company will be taken by consumers to consumer court to stop your unfair trade practices.Further the people who attend consumers queries at call center equally harass the alrady aggrieved consumer by either disconnecting the phone line or making us hold for long and subsequently cribbing about the consumer over the phone and thus irritaing the consumer more.so the entire case which can be instituted against your company in consumer court will be of false representation of the product about its functions by the company and its sales agent and deficient services.Look into the matter soon or compensate its price.

@pureit Team: All I hear is about safety. Can you give details of the functionality of your Purifier. I'll recently installed 3 purifiers of different brands with RO + UV. I'd like to know what is there in your purifier. And please dont say contact us here .. or there ..

Simply type it here. A Purifier is not a medicine whose mechanism should be hidden. :)

    I have made a call to customer care for Battery replacement on 27/05/2008 and was promised that the battery will be replace within 3 days. After 3 days made several call to Customer care and learnt that an Invoice is raised but there is no service person to deliver the battery. After continous calling I personally went to the Pure It office on 03/06/2008 in Tambaram and spoke to the people reagring the delay in the battery replacement. I was promised that on 04/06/2008 the battery will be replaced.

    Today after completely dejected by the service I'm getting trying my last attempt on logging a complain. And if doen't works then I have to go for some other product. This is the first time I'm facing such problems and service perople are least botheres on the need for the battery replacement.

      I vasanth rayalu.v ordered for battery kit replacement, till date I haven’t got any thing from your end not even phone call.

      Still I don’t understand the real problem every day I am talking to your customer care people every one telling every day one one problem so look in to the matter.

      If the same service continue………. People will decide not use your product and I will forward the same to people who I know.

      This is not the way to behave with your valid customers.

      I placed a mail to you but there is no reply from your end


      Hope you will understand the issue and do the needful.

        I m living in Govandi area. I order pure it at my home, with white colour. But dealer Mr. Sachin(whose contact no.[protected]) is tells me that it will be not available in white color. He delivered (at Saturday 14June08) the product which is in brown color; when I am not at home. They don’t show me a demo. and when I call back him to exchanged that product that time he replied me "I cant do that .do what u want ...".The behavior of dealer(Mr.Sachin) is so bad he is language is also bad to talk. Also I called on your no. ([protected]) they take my complaint said that we will give you in white color.
        but still I doesn't got any reply...what I do ..., .just give me reply as early as possible...

        I am having problems with Pure it. When i called Customer care no[protected] no one is responding or even attending the call. Its highly frustrating us. If we encounter any problems like this whom should we contact. Please add some two more lines to your customer care.
        The said purifier takes only 20 minutes for filtration of 9 litre water for next time water filling. however in the mannual it is mentioned as 3-5 hrs
        Pls explain the reason.

            Sir,

            i have ordered for tap, which was broken 20 days back, two times i phoned them, they are telling if you have contact number only they can give the service, other wise cannot give the service.

            my land line is not working and it is out of order. i called from public phone they are not responsing properly.

                I don't know whether it was my mistake/not by attaching myself with a brand like HLL by purchasing a PUREIT water filter, (Custumer ID-[protected]). I am to replace "germkill bettery kit" for last 45 days. Got your [protected] engage for 5/6 times, at my own expense & after getting my requirement registered with you for last 25 days we are yet to get any response from your side. I am not interested going to your place for replacing as at the time of buying my self only looked at HLL.

                same thing happend with me also, they have to replace the battery
                which has gone for checking for last 1month-in BOMBAY.Even, the regional manager Mr.Avijit Nag-Eastern Region is not taking the phone call.I am going to compain it to MD of this Company very soon.

                  I have been reqesting the company through the customare care for a replacement of battery kit and have not been delivered one as of date.
                  The serveices are the worst i have experienced through out my life of 39 years on this earth.
                  The customer care phone numbers are always busy.
                  If by luck you get through the number yu will have to tell the boy or the girl the whole episode.
                  They would ask for your customer id or mobile no. then make us wait for 3-5 minutes then a appology from their end followed by the same episode (we have said to them) repeated by them to us.
                  Will again ask us for 3 working days for action to be taken... but i gaurantee no action will be taken!!! we will have to break our head and repeat all of the above again...
                  This has been happening to me fro the past almost 01 month... no results as of date.

                    I am R Ravichandran from chennai.

                    I have a pureit water filter at my home a product of Hindustan Lever.
                    My customer id with the firm is 55514623. I had requested for a battery kit (Filtering unit) on 6 May 2008. I was promised to deliver the same in three working days. Since I was delivered the product on the date promised, I contacted the call center for @ 04 times and still have not found a result.
                    This total shows how this organisation is disfunctioning, no discipline, not customer friendly, inspite of reminders no action taken. When they need the product to be sold they make promises which are never met by them.

                    I am approaching the couurt of law / consumer court to file a complaint on this organisation for all the kind of tourture I have been facing. I am approaching the law to claim dammareges against the company.

                    My family and me have been drinking water from various other sources though we have a special water filter of hindustan lever (pureit) I request all of them reading thrugh this mail to rise up to the occasion to support me against the company.

                    Even I am facing the same problem from the company. And this kind of thing I have to face once in every 3 months when my battery gets discharged. Very frustrating.

                    The story repeated in this June also. 17th I booked a battery kit. I waited till 23rd and called them again. So I got an assurance that it will surely be delivered by 24th. But did not happen., When I called again now, my booking number itself is missing there. Yesterday it was there. Today it is not there., What is the reason?

                    VERY BAD SERVICE FROM HINDUSTAN LIVER.

                    VERY VERY POOR SERVICE.

                    WHY THEY DO NOT STOP SELLING THE UNIT, IF THEY CAN NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE.
                    It is a horrific story, on 18th Aug 2008 I purchased Pureit, sales people assured me of the best of services. Next day when I started using the product water started leaking from the chamber, our whole kitchen was a turned into a swimming pool. I bookeb a complaint with pureit helpline and they did not give me a complaint number saying they were facing a technical issue. 3 days have passed and I am still waiting for someone to turn up. Hopeless service!!!

                    HLL take a note otherwise you are bound to loose...making a stylish product doesn't suffice...it should have a good service as well...

                    My advise don't purchase the product at all...whatever someone might say...

                    My name is Vivek and I'm from Bangalore. I had placed an order for battery replacement kit on 31st March and despite following it up with customer care I haven't yet received the kit. Their service (or the lack of it) can best be described in one single word - pathetic!!! So if you have any plans of buying a water purifier, the advice from someone who has been facing miserable moments from their service is, stay away from this product.

                    HINDUSTAN LEVER - PUREIT — Not meeting requirement on time

                    I have a pureit water filter at my home a product of Hindustan Lever.
                    My customer id with the firm is [protected]. I went to the outlet to get the battery kit and microfilter, but I was declined as because of no stock. After that I tried several times on telephone but failed as the customer care center was always busy. Later next day when I did get the customer care people they said that the price have been increased from Rs.330/- which was promised during the time I bought the filter to Rs.550/-. As I have no option other than to buy the fkit in higher price. I requested for a battery kit (Filtering unit) on 2 May 2008. I was promised to deliver the same in three working days. But today (8th may) one delivery boy called me up and asking me for the address which is written clearly but he cannot trace out. And finally it was not delivered.
                    During this time we have to drink water without purification and this is only because of mismanagement of Hindustan Lever to deliver the product and also they have failed to keep their promise. Without the battery kit the filter is just a container and of no use for storing water. If in this stage they cannot supply us the cartidge I worry about future.
                    This total shows how this organisation is disfunctioning, no discipline, not customer friendly, inspite of reminders no action taken. When they need the product to be sold they make promises which are never met by them.

                      Hindustan lever pureit offers the worst after sales service out of all the products i have ever bought. They over promise and under deliver which is such a disgraceful thing for a large company like hindustan lever. They say that they will deliver the replacement battery kit within three days, finally after seven days i did not receive it, their website states that their dealer is in thambuswamy road for kilpauk area, when i went there the people their said the office is shifted, then i was forced to go to alagappa road where their new office has a very nice board on the outside but is a filthy office inside, where delivery boys are seated and have no regard for customers. Another point to be noted is that Hindustan lever has no grievance mail feature on their wbsite, which shows they just want to cheat the customer and sell the product but they dont care about customer service. Eureka forbes on the other hand is excellent whether it comes to sales or after sales service. Its a disgrace for HLL.
                      I bought a pureit water purifier one and half year back .I have launcheda call to change the battery on 10/06/2008.My complaint no is S08-KOL0361/003849.After that I have called customer care centre few times but no body came to replace it.Every time when I call them they are telling it is due to insufficient stock.I can not understand in the footstep of 21st century you are giving worst after sales service.Have you gone through the market survey when you launched the product? I have never ever been seen that a genuine buyer seeking for after sales service, 14days gone after the complaint.

                      After tirelessly calling them day in and day out and spending so much money on mineral water bottles inspite of having the so called product from HINDUSTAN LEVER - Pure It, it seems to me that the management and staff of HINDUSTAN LEVER-PURE IT are better suited for selling low price foot wear on the road side footpaths of Indian cities instead of fooling the Indian customers with their publicity & the promises that are not trustworthy.

                      I am using Pure it for last 4 years. The service became worst last six months i.e. Anna Nagar Franchiese. I booked battery kit on 11.2.2009, till date not supplied. I contacted several times customer care, chennai, they simply say within 24 hours battery will supplied. Contacted on 26.2.2009, customer care said that your previous invoice is cancelled and on 25.2.2009, customer care is booked again for battery. To avoid fault on their part simply cancelling the booking and making fresh order.

                      Around PURE IT, all the glitters are not gold.
                      After sale service is very poor and nasty and our patience will be put under test to get the support. The battery is the crucial part in the functioning of the machine/PURE IT. The Company clearly knows the lapsed period of life of each battery fitted to the Machines which they sold. It is a great help to the customer, if the company rep. contacts the customer or even mail a letter or send a SMS to the mobile o[censored]ser, stating the availability of batteries and the need of replacement of it and cost of the new one along with the particulars of service they will render in this regard.
                      The people of HUL are more interested in selling of huge number of PURE ITs rather than providing after sale service to the customers. I don’t think the people of HUL-PURE IT are selfish to cut to an end of the user. I feel that, all of them must know about the customers, who bought the units, who fall in a dilemma of how to use the unit which is nothing but a plastic drum, if the battery replacement band is become reddish. And without replacement of the battery, the water is so harmful to users.
                      I suggest the people to make arrangements to give effective after sale service to get good fame among the users of PURE IT

                        I placed an order after reciving a mailer from Ponds. This was an offer which offered me the Ponds age Miracle for Rs.199 each as a special offer. I placed the order for 6 units on the internet through the link mentioned on the mailer. The link was http://www.onlinedeals.in/ponds. This order was placed in Oct 2007. So far I have recieved only 2 units. And I have made several calls to Unilever's office but all in vain. There is nobody who can sort my problem. Everytime i am made false promise but doesnt help. Thius is my final resort. I want people to know that company like Unilever also CONS. They are sitting with my money and just no one is taking responsibility to deliver my products. Can you please do something about this?????? Please HELP!!!

                          I am using pure it water filter for the past one year. I have placed complaint one month back to change the battery and also to replace the broken. Every day I used to call him and I was getting a reply that it will be attended immediately. But till date no one has visited my residence for this purpose. On 21st April, I spoke to Ms Anitha and requested her to do it at the earliest as I had complained long back.

                          I never expected this from a company like HLL. Would the concerned authorities look into it. ?

                          I also had similar experience with PureIt.
                          I requested for replacement battery on 20th Apr 08.
                          They promised me that it will be done with in 3 days.
                          But they did not. I have called them up again on 4th day just to find the status.. I got the same answer, saying that it will be done with in 3 days. Again they did not turn up. Again I have called them up on 2nd May-08. I got the same answer. Again I called them up on 7th-May-08 and got the same answer and waiting for them ... I am totally Pissed off with HUL and their customer support.
                          I will never recommend PureIt to anyone.

                          this comes with a lot of despair and pain with the response of the help line and the support from the "TEAM". The last complaint i made at the call centre is no.[protected] dtd 15 Sep 2010. and the response i get is that the area is not serviceable. this is a real surprise as i had been delivered with a germkit batt kit only about 10 days before the complaint. either your database is totally up the gum tree or ur tech guys take u for a ride.
                          just to tell you my problem, from 15 sep 10 onwards i have innovated my Purit Tap with a local arrangement...i have fitted a nail to support the mechanism so that i can drink water...my bad that i bought the system i'm obviously stuck with it.

                          well just so that i don't forget i'm Squadron Leader C Binu Varghese, [protected] (so much for serving the country...i can't even get a company to change a tap!!! :(

                            i have purchased water filter about a year ago i suppose my contact no is [protected] as my tap was broken i complained about it last week of January 2008 since then many complaints has been raised but there no use every time i call up they give some complaint no and assure to be rectified within 48 hours or they just they hang saying that there systems got hanged so we caanot check up your data.

                              Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter. The service engineer has been calling me for the last one week to say that he is coming in the evening to do the job.

                              But the person doesnot turn up in the evening, with the result we need to wait for him at home.

                              We now repent for having purchased this product of Hindustan Lever Limited, which has a very very bad service back-up team.
                              This attitude of the engineer is totally ...totally frustating.

                              I would like to inform that whosoever wants to buy this product of HLL, pls dont go by the company name. You will be buying peace if you dont venture to buy.

                              As a former employee of LEVERS, I am aghast at the very very
                              poor service. We purchased your water purifier & the battery needs change. Almost a dozen calls have been made but this battery has still not been replaced.
                              -First call on your help line was received by Mr Mohit on 23 May at 4.50 PM. Request number given was dli/[protected].
                              -Two reminders on phone.
                              -Next call on 29 May at 1.10 PM received by your Ms Saggan and request number given was is08/dli 04802271.
                              -Again two reminders.
                              Every time promises are repeated parrot like, of delivery within three days. Yet no action.
                              We may thus be drinking untreated water for which we reserve our right in case of any mishap, to take you to the CONSUMER COURT for poor service.

                              I booked for a Filter change for "PURE IT" Water Filter on 23/05/08 at phone no[protected] and I was told that it gets delivered and fitted by 2 p.m on that day.But it was not done. Again I rang up on 24/05/08 and I was told that no stock was available and will be receiving on the same day & it can be delivered on 26/05/08. I was calling the whole week many a times and the phone says it is busy or it is not lifted.Finally I could get the line on 02/06/2008 and I was told that the unit is on the way to my home for delivery. But this was not happened.The response is poor and the information being given is untrue. HLL has to look into the issue seriously and advise its franchisees to maintain a proper customer relationship.

                              I am also an ex-employee of Hindustan Lever and because of this I ventgured to buy Pureit water filter and I am regretting this from day one. This product is a net working product and is not available on regular trading channels. The battery I am told should last for at least 1500 litres but the same does not last even for 600 litres. Also the service poeople just dont bother to get the replacement even after making innumerable number of pho0ne calls. I complained to the Help Line and told them to replace the batery kit about 10 days back but still today no one has turned up although I was told on telephone that someonme would definitely come by evening. My appeal to the consumers is not to buy this product and invite headaches unnecessarily.

                              One of my collegue purchased it and he did not get the accessories for a long period all time he was assured that accessories will be supplied within 48 hours but this 48 hours did not come. At last he complained over phone to the corporate office of HLL at mumbai and he got the accessories. That persons name is sajanKumar-[protected] and sivakumar - [protected], when i called at first time they attanded and replied as Engineer sivakumar will come within a day and rectifired that problem when i call on saturday. but he did not come till today (27-Aug-2008). then i called to help line([protected] &[protected] and told that issue. they asked some SR.No and mobile number, then gave. after checked his database and told me there is no regisration proof like mobile number, address and SR.No for the delivery. I went to nearest pureit office in asok piller and showed my bill. he said as we dont deliveried the pureit for this following saidapet address and this not orignal bill. finlly he traced that both person address, then we found they were coming from adayar company.

                              But right now i mind is blank what i do for next level for getting orignal bill and for this solution. its very very poor statisfication for both delivery, oral demo and bill. there is no proper way for hindustan limited,

                              once i asked the kit in help line and gave my full address, then they call two times for the conformation and deleveried with 5 hours, after that they didnot call to conform regarding arrive computerised bill, demo satisfication and othet think...

And their product is total crap its not even half as good as they say. its not of any new technology. such water purifers were made by china from very long time which r available in many other countries they cost about $30 (Rs.1250 approx.) they r total crap which r made in china and here hindustan liver r doing the same. they have just put their lable on it. i eurge everyone not to buy pureit because its of no use dont think its of low price actually u r wasting Rs1800.

                              Its more than eleven days, since I made the complaint for new taps, battery & set, black filter etc with a socalled free pump. I have been told it is Rs.385 and will be done in three working days. Nothing has been done till to-day, but I used to get answer, either in the moring, or evening or 24 hrs.
                              It is strange, that they can request, zonel office for the complint, but whereas they don't know, their immediate superior, or their name or mobile no. etc. They are highly cleaver to how would they can avoid. If it's available in the open market, let me do so instead of wasting my time & calls. They never allow me to die nor fulfil complaint. I am getting my Blood Pressure increase on every call to them and finally I have to choose the consumer Court.

                              I had changed the battery cartrige only once, and the service personell has done it in a satisfactory manner. The problem is with the cover of the battery life indicator panel, its holding plastic clip is corroding due to the presence of the chlorine tablet inside the cartridge. i asked him to replace it on Payment, then the service personell told me that he will replace it next time. Yesterday that panel fell down as a result of corrossion due to chroline tablet. Today I asked the daler point for that particular white clip, which will cost Rs.2 to Rs.5. He is saying that company is not supplying the clip and asked me to purchase the whole cover for Rs.42/-, then I contacted the company service phone numbers same is the result. Any way I will have to rethink for another 7 stage water filter for Rs.995/- from Pigeon.

                              I have booked the kit for replacement personally entering in their register as their phonelines were not working . This has happened on 3rd Novemeber 2008. The person has promised me to deliver by same date . But unfortunately till date they have not delivered . I am surprised to see such a long list of complaints on poor after sales service. Then why they are not improving the same. When they deliver the kit ? . Is there a better way to complain to them. Please help. It is purely waste of time and resources . If they cannot meet the demand, they should declare in public that they are incompetent and hand over to third party for the service part of it.

On 22/01/2009 I have made a request by dialing[protected] for Battery Change. The Customer Care executive told me that the battery will be replaced within 2 working days. After that it has become the regular duty to telephone to HUL Customer Care Centre for Battery everyday for 2 times. 8 days are already passed. But there is no response from the Company. There is no proper service team for HUL Company. Then Why the Company is manufacturing the Filters and selling to the People without providing Service. Finally I Came to a conclusion that to file a petition against HUL in Consumer Forum

                              HLL - Pure it — Battery change - NOT done yet ...WORST service ....

                              We have placed order for the battery and received the order no. Since then we have been following for the same. every time we call the call centre ( [protected] ) ...we get responses like " OUR service engineer will you before coming and deliver the battery " ..." Today you will receive the battery "...etc.

                              This is happening since last 2-3 days and we have NOT received the battery yet...NOT even the expected call from their service team...

                              Now, we have stopped using the water purifier as it has done its max. capacity.

                              I purchased pureit Germkill batter kit alongwith microfiber mesh on 7 feb 2009. At the time of puchase I was advised to go for long lasting kit which they said would come for 2250 ltrs. At the time of fittment the polisher size happen to be lenthier than the original one. Unable to fit it I rang up to Help line number [protected] and asked why I was given the wrong size. They said they would replace the right one withing two workings days without any charge and take back the one baught. Today ie on 10 feb 2009 the service engineer has come and fitted the write size and was demanding again Rs. 500/- and said we will have take the one which was baught to the same shop and get our money back. They postponing my request on the grounds that battery kit is out of stock and it will be supplied by tomorrow. That tomorrow still not come even after one month. Why the add is being screened on TV. The moto to provide better and unintruptted service has been proved to be false. I am in tension after buying this pureit filter. Kindly direct the concerned person to supply the battery kit immediately. You may also made availaable these items in local market so that all customer can purchase at their own and simulteneously your product will also not suffer.

Technician Mr.Chandru attented first person and Second person Mr.Sekar [protected] he had broke the inlet botton tube. And so many people I have contacted customer care nobody attend my complaint. I am very upset. Now again contacted Umbrella sale person at poonamallee, parry, Gpo Parry, T.nagar, collector customs office chennai -1, chennai trade centre nandambakkam, Month feb08 at trade fair at Island.All complaint entered in register.

                                i am also a pureit user and I am also facing similar problem of servicing .I have called up twice at pureit call centre nos.and at both occassions I was assured that an service person will be arranged and the battery kit will be replaced but no one turned up.i find the after sale service of your purit product pathetic.there is no systemised way of dealing witth consumer greivances. No complaint no. is assigned for the complaints registered with pureit call centre.Its seems the company has designed a one time use product to be thrown in scrap whenever the product starts demanding servicing.

                                I have given compliant for leakage of the Pure it from part 1 and 2. In addition, it leaks from tap as well. I have lodged compliant and received a call on Wednesday. They told me that they will send the representative on Wednesday at 4 PM. I told them to send him on Saturday because I go to office at 4 or 4.15 PM. However, they told me that they need to close the complaint on the same day. Hence, I told them to send him next day at 10 AM. However, the guy came at 4 PM. I took my permission to change the tap. He wan't aware of that it leaks from other parts as well even though I mentioned it in the complaint. After changing the tap he gave me the bill. I said him to put the old tap and remove new one. Why should I pay for the tap because it is compay's mistake and not mine. I purchased it in the last month and it leaks from the first day. What kind of service is this? Please improve your product quality and service and then give "1 Crore Challenge". I want either it is replaced and full refund so that I could purchase better product from other company.

                                Pureit HLL — leaking - pure response for servicing

                                I have purchase a pureit water filter about 3 years back. I have logded a complaint of leaking from the battery compartment about 10 days back. On second day they have given a complaint NO-C[protected] and told that some body will come and rectify it. They have taken my address correctly. early 3 occassions they had came and changed the battery germ kill kit with out any delay. On 4 th day as nobody had turned up, I had called the chennai customer care and told them the fact. They once again booked the complaint No-C[protected] and told that they will send technician with in 48 hrs. However on 3rd day they had sent an SMS saying that " your complaint has been attended, please give your feed back-------etc ". with out being coming to my place. I once again contacted the customer care chennai and once again they conveyed their regret and told me that they will send the technician immediately ( 31/03/2011) and they lodged a fresh complaint No-C[protected]. But nobody had come so far.However, on 04/03/2011 they had sent another SMS saying that they could not locate my residendence. Please note that earlier they had taken my address clearly with proximity land marks. My house is next to the main road and near to a famous land mark. Any person can find out this with out any problem. Plz note that the same people had delivered germ kill kit on 3 occassions at the same address. More over thay have my land/mobile number with for any clarification, if needed.

                                This is absolute irresponsibility on the part of chennai service centre and HLL as a whole. They normally showing very active when sales comes but the service is so poor, that any person trapped by buying this product will never advice any other person for buying this. Plz educate your customer care people that after sales service more important than selling.
                                Absolutely ridiculous.

                                In case nobody is coming to replace/ rectify the defect with in 3 days, I will send this complaint for publication in the news paper and may approach to customer court for their intervention.

                                  on 30.1.09, at hyderabad, i have contacted [protected] and requested for supply of battery/filtering part of the Pureit Water Filter. today is 4.2.2009, and the replacement is yet to come. Hope the replacement job is not being handled by one of our state government agency. Hindustan Unilever, should not fail on such small counts.

                                  HUL/ Pureit water purifier — non-delivery of replacement battery kit.

                                  I have purchased one 'pureit' water purifier from it's direct selling agent on 21st August, 2008. My customer ID no. is [protected] . The retail invoice bears the name of M/s. R.R.Enterprise, 124 Benaras Road, Salkia, Howrah, W.Bengal 711106.( TIN No: [protected]). On 27/04/2009 I booked one replacement battery kit (order number S09HRH[protected]) along with other parts necessary for getting purified water, as the battery kit expired it functionality. The call center person ( Helpline No.[protected] ) assured me that the kit will be delivered to me within 3 days.I waited untill 6th of May and called again. To my surprise the call center person informed me that there were no booking in my name. He however the person re-booked my order and assured me that I shall get the kit within 3 days. I have made repeated reminders after that but whenever I called them, every time they assured me that the kit will be supplied within 3 days. I got entangled within a vicious cirle of '3 days'.Till today I have not received the kit. I have not made any calls recently knowing fully well that they were not in a mood to supply me the required kit.

                                  My presumption is that the company is interested only in selling the main water purifier, not selling the replacement kit. Or the call center peaple are interested in getting more calls to get more incentives by receiving more calls per person.

                                  It is regrettable that a company like Hindustan Uniliver Ltd. is doing such a heneous job.

                                  I shall be grateful if you look into matter and help me.

                                  The issue is regarding drinking water which is not only sensetive but a bare necessity & unfortunately this a regular expereince .I was faced with the same situation the last time as well.

                                  I have been deprived of drinking water & I am living on mineral water, this is a punishable offence.

                                  I have booked an order for pureit battery kit more than 1 months ago and made several query at the help line at [protected]. But till know i didn't get the delivery of the same. Every time i was assured that it is delivered to me within 2/3 working days but ultimately it is found their commitment is false.                                   It is known Issue with Pure IT. I have been facing this issue everytime when I put a request for battery Kit. Even though we want to talk to their superiors, they don't give their numbers and the same dialogue goes on with all the customer reps we get on call. Water Filter is good, but the support & service is hoepless. I would like the higher officials whover handles this department to go throgh this blog put some light on to reslove the ongoing Issue.

                                  I am so much disturbed about the poor customer service that I am compelled to write in this forum for wanting of proper service/justice. I am a use of HUL water filter (pureit). On 23.06.2009 I have placed my requisition for replacement of battery kit vide docket No. Z4323. I was told by the concerned customer support executive that within 3 days the battery kit will be replaced. In today's competetive world I don't think any other organization would take such long time to attend for similarly placed situation. Anyway, I waited for 1 day...2 days...and at the late hours of 3rd day when I called up again, I was very rudely told by the concerned customer care executive (I did not ask her name) that it is still 2 hours to go for the day to be completed. So it was not proper for me to call prior to expiry of the stipulated time period! I was literally taken aback. In my wild imagination I cannot think such response from a company in the service sector. Anyway, on the 4th day i.e. on 27.06.2009 I again called up for non receipt of the said battery kit. This time the concerned executive again gave me a docket no.[protected] and informed me to wait for few days. He however did not forget to remind me that within 3 days (!?) the battery kit will be replaced. When I asked the contact names/nos of superiors, he refused to give me any further details.

                                  So this is the situation of customer service! When I searched the internet for appropriate authority to log my complaint, I found hundreds of dissatisfied customers are complaining regarding poor service quality of pureit team of M/s. HUL..

                                  I am now left with no other alternatives but to put forward my grievances in this forum so that my grievances are sorted out IMMEDIATELY.

                                  In today's world, non-attending of customer's complaint/requisition is a crime and in my opinion a customer must be compensated for being deprived of such service from the supplier company.

                                  hindustan pureit — non replacement of battery kit

                                  I purchased a pureit in the six or seven months later. Before the 1st day I am facing so many problems in this pureit. The last time experience was so bad for me.

                                  Now the present problem in this case is that the battery kit of this pureit is not working. In this regard undersigned made a complaint bearing No.C[protected] dated 14.11.09 at around 12.00pm the customer care executive assured me that in next 72 hours the executive will visit and after payment of Rs. 510/- the Battery Kit will be replace. But like my last time experience no executive has come to replace the same.

                                  In reference of above, undersigned again made following complaints:-

                                  1. C[protected] DATED 18.11.09
                                  2. C[protected] Dated 20.11.09.

                                  Its very surprise and shocking that despite of visiting of member of pureit team, I regularly received complaint attended and feedback messages from your side. But till date no one executive visited my house to solve the problem.

                                  In reference of above, undersigned has been called to SMS No. (Given in the last of the message) at Mumbai and again lodged a complaint bearing No. C[protected] dated 22.11.09 and it’s sorry to say that like my previous complaint the same has not been attended till date. Due to non availability of pure water my family member suffering from stomach problems.

                                  It is pertinent to mention here that your safe water Zone (Saini Enclave, SNZ) is located at around 2 K.M. distance from house.

                                  Battery kit ordered on 11/04/2010. renewed on 13/04/2010. Complaint lodged on14/04/2010&16/04/2010&17/04/2010. But so far GKB kit not supplied.supposed to be supplied within 48 hours.This is service deficiency.Every day I am incurring Rs 50/ towards buying Mineral water bottle. pl supply GKB kit immediately and compensate for buying mineral water till then. I had booked one battery kit on 10 march 2008.But till date nobody turned up. When enquired in this regard ( to call center [protected]) it was told that it will be escalated to higher ups and will be dealt with topmost priority.

                                    This has forced me to look for some options from USHA & Aquaguard, I am going to cancel the order which I think they would deliver when they want.
                                    I think now they (HLL) through Pureit want to beat Government Offices' in their services promptness...

                                    I have ordered for a Water Filter Mesh about 1.1/2 years back along with Battery. During this period, I have ordered for Batteries about 3 - 4 times and I got it. But the Mesh I am yet to get. During constant follow-ups, once your helpline officials asked me to go to a shop at Ashok Nagar where I can get the Mesh. So far 4 -5 times I went there, but no use. Waste of energy, time, petrol, etc. etc. Without getting the spare parts, what is the use in having the Filter ? Will u pl arrange for a Mesh & Battery and deliver at my house?                                     My pure it tap broken on 23.5.08 and complaint for tap broken and water leakage was lodged with Kothapet HLL service centre. After 4 days of continuous follow up person visited with wrong tap. Next day again came with correct tap but found tap cannot be repalced whole container to be repalced. that day instead of changing tap he changed by battery (worth Rs. 300/-) even it was not necessary (as no red mark). The executive asked me to collect the new container (by paying Rs. 550/-) from their office, and I did. But after replacing the same still water leakage not solved. I hv found one washer is mising in the new container. It seems the customer care peron deliverered a faulty unit. After several calls for repairs no vain. Now my pure it has become waste box.

                                    HLL Pure it water filter - Water filter kit is not being replaced
                                    I am using the PUREIT water filter for from almost 10months. I had requested the battery for replacement for the second time (Second replacement) on 27th April and the helpdesk agent took all info and gave me a 10 digit reference numberand assured for the delevery within 3 workling days. Till today (4th May) no one has called and asked for it. When i called back to know the satus i got the same assurence for the 3woking days. I took their office (nearby)address atleast to get my self and have it replaced. But the address was worong. The service is very very poor with HLL. I never thought HLL being such a reputed company was givivng such poor service responce.

                                    Is there any alternative to replace this with any other better drinking water solution. If yes what could be the cost.

HUL is on the best way to get a special chapter when I will write my memoir one day. I have to express my deep concern and displeasure about how HUL is delivering ‘after sales service’.

                                    It seams, that commitments given by HUL have no worth at all. Your company is a real nightmare for every customer and your employees (in helpline) are not afraid to lie direct into our ears.

                                    I have really enough of the monkey business shown by HUL. I'm sick and tired to speak and pray with your help line that is skilled in CHEATING us.

My question is how someone can play with some ones drinking water!!! if Hindustan Unilever can’t deliver on time, just let us know up-front that replacement is not available and will be delivered on so and so date/time, which is called professionalism.

                                    5, After inserting the battery the service person left and five minutes later the bottom portion started leaking

                                    I CALLED UP YOUR SERVICE CENTRE ONE MS DIVYA TOOK THE PHONE I ASKED FOR DEPUTING A PERSON FOR ATTENDING THE LEAK SHE SAID SHE REISTERED AND IT WILL TAKE 24 HOURS, THE MOMENT I ASKED FOR YOUR E MAIL, SHE DISCONNECTED

                                    The main complaint is replacement of battery kit. if you want to get the kit replaced in time, place the order when it is half red and half white (battery indicator). i[censored] wait till it becomes complete red and then place a request, i am sure you have drink unsafe water for a month

                                    i placed a request for battery kit on 4th July on no [protected] Mr Yusuf at Allahabad UP no response till 23rd july I called on this no with in difference of 2-3 days constantly each time revert recv that they will replace with in 48 hr but still waiting for new battery kit

                                    HLL has to strive hard to keep up its promise (i.e the SLA for delivery of battery kit 3 days)

I have ordered a battery kit a two weeks ago, they said that they will relaplace in 3 working days but till now no body turnedup. After making so many calls to the call center [protected], they say this has been escalated to higher officials and will be dealt with topmost priority.                                     HUL PUREIT WATER PURIFIERS — SUPPLY OF DEFECTIVE WATER PURIFIER BATTERY & EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE

                                    Dear Sir/ Madam
                                    I had bought a Pureit water filter from HUL nearly a year back [21/02/2008 (CUST ID -[protected])]. Needless to say, i trusted the HUL brand while buying this product. Initially the filter performed as per the company claims, the battery worked as per their expected duration.
                                    However, after replacing the second battery, the third battery which was supplied, was defective. We got to know regarding this when my younger son fell ill with jaundice and doctor said it was due to impure water. We immediately checked the water filter and their own service engineer testified that the battery was defective.
                                    After that repeated complaints to the company for replacing the battery has fallen on deaf ears.
                                    All calls to their helpline always resulted in the same answer, we are sorry for the inconvenience and we would assure you of the best service. This has gone on for the last one month. I have registered six complaints with them for the same since 22nd June, 09. (Tracking NO[protected] /[protected] /[protected] /[protected]. They have not given us the last two tracking numbers as their system was under "maintenance".
                                    I have tried to reach their senior management with mails, (Sent two mails dates 8th July and 11th July) but they have not responded till now.
                                    I am extremely disappointed that HUL is stooping to such lows. Whom can we trust if such big brands like HUL do not operate responsibly?
                                    Their manual itself claims that they will replace defective parts supplied by them.
                                    however, I am extremely sorry to say that even HUL makes false promises.
                                    We are talking about drinking water here. It is not a fan or an AC or a shampoo that you ca do without or buy another one without too much trouble.
                                    I urge all consumers to be very careful before buying HUL Pureit. Their service is shoddy to say the least and what they promise is nothing but an eyewash.

                                    Hi, I am using HLL pure it product is good but the srvice is very poor because from last 2 months I have given order for battery kit and i have order for this on customer support no for 3 times but till the date i have not received the same. So there is no use of this product without power kit my customer id is [protected]. hope after doing this compliant i will get power kit as early as possible.
                                    I thoroughly agree to this.i had booked an order for te battery Kit on the 12th of Oct.But as of date, today being 20th Oct, the battery Kiot has not been delivered.at the time of sales they had asked me to keep a chq ready, when they were coming to give the demo, such that they can close the sell on spot.They are good in sales, but they fail miserably in service.

                                    I had booked a battery for my purit on 1st december and after lapse of three working days I made a compliant on 4th december and the compliant number is C 10295892. Even after that I had not received the battery. Whenever I am calling them they are telling me that they will take up the matter with the appropriate authority and will see that I am getting my battery at the earliest. I do not know what is meant my at the earliest. Is it one week or one month or etc., What is the next step I can do. Now a days the service is becoming very poor or I felt that they do not want us to keep the old purit.

                                      I registered a call on 10.03.2008 to HLL Pureit Call Centre [protected] for replacement of Battery Kit. Till 20.03.2008 I have not received the Battery Kit. I called up again to the Call Centre and asked for the reason. They gave a reply which is shocking, they have not registered a complaint which i have given on 10.03.2008 and they told that it would be delievered in another three days. The Call Centre Executive added that i can escalate this issue to any of the higher officers. They are refusing that they have not received a call on 10.03.2008.

                                      Worst Service of the HLL Pureit Water Filter after Sales.

                                      While selling the product, they run behind the customer, later for service, customer has to run/spend/waste time for complaints as they wont give a proper service.

                                      I registered a call on 28.03.2008 to HLL Pureit Call Centre 28237373 for replacement of Battery Kit. Till 07.04.2008 I have not received the Battery Kit. I called up again to the Call Centre and asked for the reason. They gave a reply that, they have not registered a complaint...

                                      Pureit Water Filter — poor on call service

                                      i am using pureit water filter and i am satisfied with the water quality.unfortunately the service is very very poor.my tap of the filter became unusable as the tap handle is not functioning now.i have telephoned to the local rep several times.they will ask for the address and how to reach this place for which i have answered several times.but they have not come attended it till this.also i need changing the elements since the color on the mark has changed.this drama is going on for the last one month.
                                      if the maintenance part is improved it will be an excellent product .i hope at least some action will be taken to improve the maintenace p[art .thanks.
                                      This is not first such issue long back for Tap replacemet i had to log more than 10 complains approx.

Till date (26th of May.2008 I have not received the Battery Kit. I called up again to the Call Centre on 18th May and 22nd May and asked for the reason. They informed me that ur compliant is register our customer care executive will visit you soon and they told that it would be delivered in two working days. When asked the Call Centre Executive to transfer the call to his higher ups they quote they are the senior most in the center and when asked for customer care center email ID they denied sharing

                                      Every time I make a call to the call center, the executive says the battery will be delivered with 24 hrs and I need to ask them when is this 24 hrs getting ended.

                                      Very ridiculous service and now I am thinking why did I bought this from HLL. BRAND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PERSONAL.

                                      Pureit Water Filter — BATTERY KIT SUPPLY

                                      I had purchased the PUREIT Water filter marketed by Hindustan Lever Ltd (Now known as Hindustan Unilever Ltd) in the year 2005. While selling the product the Marketing people informed me that the battery kit replacement will be done in 24 hours time. But every 6 six months I need to change the battery. Whenever I had ordered in the past the battery kit never reached in time. They will always dely by 3-4 days and that too by several follow up by me over tepehone. I had made complaints to their Manager over telephone and email in the past but they had informed some reason and assured me that the position will change etc. This time on 21st May, 08 I had ordered the kit and informed them the past experience. They assured me that it will be delivered within 3 working days. When I contacted them on 27th as the kit had not reached me they informed me that it will be delivered by 28th. I have not yet received the kit even today.They gave the order number as CHN[protected] dt 21/05/08. I had sent a mail informing them that I will give the complaint to Newspaper regarding their careless attitude, eventhen there is no action from them. It is the attitude of big Corporate company in India towards their customers.

                                      I had been using pureit since sept, 2007.recently the transparent chamber of my pureit broke and made a call requesting for the replacement on may 1st for the 1st time.my complaint number is co8425576. From then on everytime i make a remainder call they gave me a new com. no which were co8449898. Recently on june 11th the complaint number given was co8497345.everyday from june 11th i had been making a call and the response was only TOMORROW.Even today(25/06/2008) they said there is no stock.THE WORST PART IS THEY CUT THE PHONE WHEN I AM TALKING. RaviKiran, Mathews, Santhosh, Premsagar, Saleem, SravanKumar, Chander were some of the persons whom i spoke to.When a call is made Everybody asks the problem from the beginning as though i am calling for the first time but none to solve my problem.This is the least expected from a company like HindustanLever.Very bad customer care services.Even for today my problem is not solved.
                                      The water from the pipe is not flowing as expected resulting in it takes long time and also the nob was slightly broken.                                       We have launched the complaint two weeks back and the service personnel brought the kid and fixed it after several follow up. Now the water is not pottable and the taste is bitter. The colour becomes hayz. Now we are much worried whether to drink the water or not. We have complained the same the call centre last 10 days no response about the replacement or corrective action. HLL takes such importants to the products which are using in our day to day life. No surety of customer service.
                                      Same Happened to me. I purchased Two machines. With in first week itself, the first machine is giving filtering trouble. I complained to their executive. I am ready to pay for it. But they didn't revert. After 3 months I myself went to their perembur branch, they told they don't have the replacement. For that too, We need to book complaint through their call center. They are tell you see, after 3 months follow up. I did that also. Still today I didn't got the filter. My mother is scolding me every day.

                                      The second machine had batter kit issue with in 5 months. Enquired them, they are telling the battery will support only up to 1500 lit. But I am not sure that we have consumed that much qty. The company has to have some machanism to measure the litre we used. Unless this, I would say that they are cheating the customer.

I have requested the pureit helpline people to come and show the demo. it is morethan one month everyday I am asking those people to come and instal but so far no body have come. we reside in secunderabad. will any higher authorities can help in this matter.

                                      HLL / PureIt water filter — Extremely poor service

                                      We bought the notorious filter 2 years ago. Ever since the, we literally had to beg the HLL to bring the filter mesh / battery kit.

                                      All you have is just one phone number to order any accessory. The wretched NUMBER IS ALWAYS BUSY or you have remind them atleast 5 times (a.k.a waste 5 calls) for making them deliver a mesh worth Rs. 40/-. Even when they "promise" that they would deliver the item within 2 days, you have to wait for atleast 7 days (I had to wait 4 months to get my first battery kit changed!)

                                      My sincere advice to all prospective buyers: DO NOT BUY THIS WRETCHED PRODUCT FROM THIS ILL-FAMED COMPANY.
                                      I had ordered for a battery replacement for the purit water filter on
                                      May, 2008 and till date I have not received any replacement. I have been
                                      calling the helpline [protected] several times and agains I lodged my
                                      complaint till date no action has been taken from your company. In each
                                      occassion I received a reply that within 48 hours I will get the service.
                                      But no result has been received so far. I am really sorry to say that the
                                      service is one of the worst.

                                      If you cannot deliver the battery, what is the point in having the water
                                      filter?

                                      At least you guys should have called me and given me a time frame /
                                      delivery date, but every day there is a promise which is never kept.

                                      HLL is a great company, while replacing the Germ kill kit (which is the modern name they have given to chlorine and activated carbon), when they sell the product they install it with in 2 hrs you call them, but you ask them to replace the battery, they need threee working days (for istallation they never mentioned working days), and this is what they say but they take 10-100 days to replace the kits, as they have the monopoly, Shame on you destroying the name HLL

I wish to bring to your kind notice that we have been using your pureit for the last 2 years. Recently the battery is exhausted and i registered a complaint for the supply of battery kit through your help line on 13/10/2008 and they promised us that it will be supplied within 3 days but till date i have called your helpline several time but is was not changed. Moreover helpline people are giving only false promises that it will be changed today. To back of my house one your branch office is situated (Paper mills road Chennai 600011) i went there personally to enquire about the battery kit but the people you employed do not have the courtesy to listen our problem instead they are insulting us to contact the the security person standing outside your office for any details. Now we completely vexed with the negligent attitude of the people of your organisation. We had a high reagrd of your organisation hence we went for your product.                                       PURE IT WATER FILTER — Not Giving proper attention to customers

                                      I am viswanathan and staying at Villivakkam, Chennai.I am regular customer for the Hindusthan Products.My product Invoice no:[protected].My customer id :65687297We have given a complaint for Pure it water cleaner.Every time they are replyed as there is no stock.There is no proper answer at the time of visit the agent place.They are very much intersted with playing and chating with lady staff than attention to customer.Hindusthan is very big and genuine company but servicing is going to worest.
                                      Do not spoil your image and at the same time maintain proper good agencies for all your product.
                                      I called the call centre and ordered the replacement on 4th dec 2008 and they promised the replacement withing 3 working days. Again i reminded them on 6th Dec. Till today(12th Dec) i haven't get any replacement or nobody called us to tell the reason for the delay. Looks like there is no coordination of call centre and local delivery centres.
                                      I registered complian regading the replacement of Filter several times. But the person who has committed the replacement free of cost is a nither attended the case nor picking the phone now. I called up again to the Call Centre and asked for the reason. They gave a reply which is shocking, they have denied to attend the fault . The Call Centre Executive added that i can escalate this issue to any of the higher officers.

                                      I had purchase a pureit water filter just one year back. But it is out of order since October, 2009 .Several times I have telephoned on help line no. and also reported to local dealer, but no body botherd.

                                      Pureit Water Purifier — Leakage of Carbon

                                      I purchased water purifier in June 2008. I have changed the battery twice. This time there is a leakage in the carbon components which is entering into the water. I have lodged complaint in my respective Customer Care Center but received no satisfied reply frm their end. I want a complete satisfaction immedialtely otherwise wiill be forced to change my water purifier system.
                                      i had purchased the machine 09.09.2008 till date i could not get my online bill for which i had made so many request to all the persons here and lodged a comlaint on 11.05.2009 with u.p. help line no. [protected] and to delhi also. But all in vain. Further I had got my chamber and G.K.B. changed for which i had paid the required amount to the team leader he told me that with in next two working days you will get online bill but till today it is also not recieved by me. Till now i had made approximate 8 calls to u.p. help line and 6 calls to delhi help line. Now if i am trying to call Mr. Raina he is not even ready to pick my call after seening my number who is area incharge o[censored]ttarakhand. There is only one guy who always helps me that is Mr. Deepak at Haridwar who is wokring under Mr. Jhaman. No one else is ready to hear me.

                                      i am taking so much pain to save the reputation of Hindustan Unilever Limited than what is wrong with the guys who are employed with the company. They are sitting just to help customer and look into the matter solve the problem as soon as possible. Company is paying very handsome amount to the every month. I am making call to every one every where in india wasting my money and time. Provoking my friends to buy the machine. FOR WHICH COMPANY IS NOT GIVING ME ANY EXTRA BENIFITS REBEATS FREE SERVICE TO ME. Even though i am trying my level best.

                                      I had read somewhere on the net itself that there are so many complaints with the customer service. Even though HUL is keeping relations with such sort of peoples. It shows that how big heart company is having for there non reliable peoples. It may be the policy of the company i should not get into all this.

                                      Per month 10 x 30 = 300 Ltrs.

                                      My last Battery Kit purchase made on 21/04/2009 and from 23-06-09 onwards I made complaint of insufficient Battery life of not even 600 Ltrs. water output as against your promising of 1500 Ltrs.

                                      HUL to have a pucca R & D to develop products and not to expect the customer to do R & D.

                                      HLL Pureit Battery Kit — not replacing

                                      Poor Service of HLL Pureit Battery Kit
                                      I registered a call on 25-05-09 to HLL Pureit Call Centre of banbalore for replacement of Battery Kit(complaint no:S09/bay/[protected]. Till 30-06-09 I have not received the Battery Kit. I called up again to the Call Centre on 02, 16, 23 & 30-06-09 .They are repeating the same words of " within 2 working days our people will come and replace the kit". The Call Centre Executive added that i can escalate this issue to any of the higher officers. Customer does not have the system of closing the complaints. this HLL customer care is not caring their customer & irritating their customer & spoiling the name of the company.
                                      Now i am hlepless. now i am thinking & i will recoment friends not to go for pureit.

                                      Puritt must be the worst product available in the market. And hand in hand is your customer service. When you do not have the capability to run a business, why do you even start it. Your ads boast about competing with the top Water Purifiers in the market. What an AMBITION???. Forget competing with the, you cant even think of being in the market along with them.

                                      I logged a complaint about battery replcement on the 10th of September 2009. Today is 25th September 2009, and I still dont have anyone at my house to replce the battery. The funniest part is that I am not asking for a free replacment. I am paying MONEY for the service. I have been buying Mineral water from outside from past 2 weeks. I promise that I will discourage anyone who will try to buy this product in future. I will make all genuine attempts to pass on the word of mouth prospective buyers and ensure that they influence their known ones.
                                      I purchased PureIt before 2months and after one & a half month the filter blocked and having problem with it.                                       I could find lot of dust in water after filter I have taken photographs of the accumulated dust in the filter complaint was filed and the complaint number is C[protected].                                       excellent service provided by HLL. i wish to say lot of thanks them to provide us prompt services. only the dissatisfaction towards the machine is whenever it get disturbed the heavy water leak thats it.
                                      I have requested for battery replacement on 12th January 2010, they mentioned that within 3 working days I will recieve the battery. After that I had to make numerous call for recieving the battery replacement. The service quality is pathetic. They are not able to keep their commitment. I am writing this post on 18th January and I have still not recieved the battery.
                                      I have purchased one for my home. Accidentally the transparent chamber was broken. Requested for a replacement. They have told me that it would cost between Rs.500-600. Agreed and placed the order. Even after 45 days the unit is lying idle since the chamber was not replaced. The help line staff is very good in providing answers ("Tomorrows" never Die) not the solutions. Battery not replaced...Filtered water is not coming...heap of complaints. Is this the reason for their 1 Cr. Safety Challenge is Unclaimed so far? Aspects of Safety and Purity comes only after the unit is up and running...isnt it...!?

                                      When i need to replace the battery kid the local marketting people told me there is no old model battery kit available. so I have forced to buy a new model 005.

                                      I registered a call on 06.04.2010 to HLL Pureit Call Centre [protected] for replacement of Battery Kit. Till 09.04.2010 I have neither received the Battery Kit nor a call from customer centre. I called up again to the Call Centre and asked for the reason. They gave a reply which is shocking, they have not registered a complaint which i have given on 09.04.2010 and they told that it would be delievered in 24 hours. The Call Centre Executive added that i can escalate this issue to any of the higher officers. They are refusing that they have not received a call on 06.04.2010. at last the Battery Kit was changed on 12.04.2010.

No one has ever came to my house. I received an SMS on my mobile No. [protected] at 6.46 pm from No. [protected] that my aforesaid complaint (No. C[protected] has been attended and I was asked to reply as SER 1 if satisfied and as SER 0, i[censored]nsatisfied. Since no person has attended my complaint there is no question of any satisfaction. That's why I promptly sent msg as SER 0, which was received by u, but a little later I again received an SMS as "Internal Server Error". I totally failed to understand ur attitude towards attending the customers complaints. Hope you will definitely look into the matter and my redress my grievance as early as possible...

                                      We booked a call in May'10 for two battery kits. Till date they have not been supplied. Calls to local supplier or company registered number did not help. Invariably the answer was "Your call has been registered and you would receive the complaint no. in your mobile before tomorrow evening. The battery kits also would be supplied before tomorrow evening". Till today there is no response. We are fed up.

                                      The product they sell is not a TV or a tape recorder;which if I do not listen or see for one or two months, nothing big difference it makes. This is a basic product for health and hygiene which I miss most in my day to day life. If they cannot support with spares for a hygiene product, why should they come to market to sell?

                                      We came to know that they want to promote their compact battery kits rather than bigger battery kits. So as a marketing strategy, if a particular spare is not delivered to a consumer, he can be cajoled to use another spare; which they could have manufactured more. Is this a bad planning of production or looking for more margin in another spare?

                                      I lodged a complaint for the replacement of battery ( Cell nos [protected] and [protected]) a week ago and also spoke to your customer service centre on the same day. I would have made half a dozen calls after that, and the standard reply is that this will be delivered in a days time. To my surprise when i called them yesterday, they told me that they are yet to register my complaint and they asked me the serial no of the equipment to enable them to register.
                                      It is highly ridiculous to know that, one has to make half a dozen calls and has to wait for a week to have your complaint registered. You people promise moon at the time of selling and the customers are made to run from pillar to post when we come to you for service.                                       I bought one 18 liters capacity pure it machine a month back cost Rs 3200.From date of installation i am facing issues.The water from the top chamber is not flowing as expected resulting in needs to clean the carbon ball once in everyday which is not all expected and i am not able to do that everyday otherwise water will remain in the same top chamber.
                                      If i clean that also water flow is very slow to the bottom collection chamber for that day.next day again it requires cleaning.

                                      I believe when they want to sell a product they do not see who is the customer and which area they live in, and the sales agents are behind you, but when you request for a service their lay back attitude comes into picture they want to know where the customer lives and they decide if they have to provide them service or not, Just to add, I had requested for a service i.e., to replace a battery kit and for the next two years from the time of my request I had kept on requesting for a battery kit, I wish I had the Complaint request number at this hour, however if Hindustan Pureit customer care stores their record and if they can pull up customer complaints using the phone number here is the phone number that was provided at the time of registering the complaint [protected] ( The Irony is that every time you call the customer care, they keep confirming your address to send no one)

                                      your machanic attend our office and change the part in purit thanks to indian consumer comlaints and purit water company.

                                      HLL — Untrainted support staff

                                      Support and service staff is untrained and they don’t know how to change the kit. Leak of knowledge cause serious impact and my 5 yrs daughter got hospitalized due to intake o[censored]nfiltered (bacterial) water. Service guy don’t know how to fit the kit and due to improper fitting water was not filtered and unfortunately we don’t that are taking impure water.
                                      Very very poor service & defective at machine, purchase Mar13, a Marvella Pureit RO, AMC is continue, several complain lounged, again purchase a Iron removal Guard Rs.1400.00, within 2 hours red light biffing, after 2 days it had not working & water is not dropping from machine. Now They are saying Filter will purchase @1625.00+.
                                      As a middle class family it will not provide us.
                                      Without drinking water it is running.
                                      Already mail & complains lunged.

                                        I purchased Pure It Water Purifier, a product of Hindustan Uniliver Ltd, on 06-03-08, I gave a cheque worth Rs.1800/-to the guy who brought the product, he said that he would provide me the invoice the next day, but after a week, I have no bill in my hand.Nor he provided me my ID.

But for few months your agency donot supply any products to my shop as well as to some other shop of sivasagar, assam due to some unknown reason althogh we give clear-cut payment to your agency. For this we are facing lots of problem, now we are buying your company products from some other source.The agency owner is so proudy and donot response to our words.

                                        Well guys its preety bad that before taking the pureit i heard so many good things about your services but for the last 5 days iam complaining about my pureit water battery but no body is intresting in my call. What to do guys iam so irritate now can some body help me out please. Kindly suggest me should i recommend for your pureit to some one else. I got too much bad service from Hindustan lever. I will not suggest any body for your pureit.

                                        Hindustan Unilever Limited / Pureit purifier — No Service provided

                                        I bought Hindustan Unilever limited - Pureit water purifier Autofill model. I registered my unit as recommended by the company using the company's helpline provided in the user manual of the water purifier.

                                        I requested the company to send a service representative to assemble the unit and show a demo of the same for which they agreed and promised to provide this service in 2 working days. When I did not receive the service even after a week, I assembled the unit myself as per the user manual and started using the same.

                                        After a week's usage the unit started leaking near the joints of its plastic body. I registered a complaint immediately on 25-Jul-2011 (Complaint # C[protected]. The help line representative promised to send a service personnel within 1 working day. I waited for 5 days. No one turned up. I again called the helpline to enquire about my complaint. They apologized and have booked another complaint on my behalf though I insisted to act upon my earlier complaint. The second complaint # is C[protected] booked on Friday 29-Jul-11. Again I was promised by end of the day on Friday someone would attend my problem. Repeating the same response, no one turned up again even after 2 days.

                                        This is the worst ever response I have ever experienced from any reputed company. Out of all my household articles/appliances, I have never faced such irresponsible attitude from the companies.

                                        HUL advertises Pureit as one of its premier product and I never expected such worst service from this company.

                                        I request the company to look into the quality of their service network and their ability to serve their customers.
