The Liril 2000 Soap Ad in TV Media is totally indecent and should be withdrawn immediately.
2. The Hamam Soap Ad in TV Media is absurd, irritating and annoying.
3. The Pureit ad of asking the consumer to prove about the so called availability of their safety features to win Rs.1.00 Crore is impracticable and amounts to cheating the consumer because the consumer has to spend money for purchase which no consumer can practically do. It should be withdrawn

I don't like the above mentioned ads... like HAMAAM SOAP ad- MOM SENDING HER DAUGHTER TO BUY SOAP, PUREIT ad Rs.1.00 Cr challenge ad... all these non-sense stuffs irritate and give headache... An
ADVERTISEMENT should be a reasonable one and that too must be delivered to all in a pleasant manner..
Hamam soap ad shows all possible psychologically weak aspects, creating a sense of fear and confusion. this ad is more of blackmailing the consumer.
I love HUL products...

    I have made a Complaint on 25th June 2009 regarding replacement of Tap which is damaged.
    I have been told that the Tap will be changed within next 3 days. Despite my 1st reminder on 29th June 2009 and subsequent reminders nothing had happened so far.

    I strongly recommed to general public don't go for this Brand where there is no proper response after sales.

      I hope you will take care of this complaint. I have requested for a replacement of the Germ Kill battery Kit for Pureit Water Purifier. It has been 2 weeks that the request was placed and still now the company has not taken any initiative to replace and service the purifier. I have called the Customer Care people 4 times and no one has taken the request seriously. I am staying in Bangalore and i feel this way of servicing people is the last thing in the world one would like when it comes to critical things such as Water Purifiers.

        Dear Sir,

        I am a customer of the above said product and my customer id is [protected].

        I had ordered for a battery for my water filter over phone at the company's customer care number on 17.06.09 and I was informed by the representative that I will receive my battery by 3 working days that is by 20.06.09 and the cost of the battery will be Rs. 365/- (for 1500 litres of water).

        I did not receive the same by 20.06.09 but the battery was delivered on 22.06.09 and that too the battery which I did not order for. I was supplied with a battery for Rs. 510 /- (2250 litres). When we told the representative that we have not ordered for this battery he mentioned that he will is not carrying the ordered battery but he has only the battery worth rs. 510/-. If we do not take this battery he will come after 3 months for delivering the ordered battery.

        This is actually selling the company accessories at gun point to the customer. Aa far as I am concerned they are cheating the customers.

        Please look into the matter and take necessary steps against such cheating.

          It's been 10 days since we have been contacting them time and again for the replacement of our batteries but there has been no response. Neither is the quality of batteries up to the mark. In every 2 months we have to replace the batteries which cost a high amount Rs. 375 (They don't give bills also). Previously some days back we even saw some particles in the purified water. Is this the kind of service that is expected from a HINDUSTAN UNILEVER. And it's not the problem only with me but with other owners of the product also. It's a pity that a company which says it follows hardest regulations for water purification has either stopped batteries or has no people to make them reach the costumers. And then they expect us and the rest to recommend this product also.

              We have purchased Pure It Water Purifier by seeing its Brand Name ( Hindustan Lever). We regret to inform that inspite of our several reminders with your Service people here at Coimbatore they never attended our complaint. Inspite of all your advertisements in media, if after sales service is poor and negative we feel sorry to say that it is not worth purchasing this product.

              We have purchased Pure It Water Purifier by seeing its Brand Name ( Hindustan Lever). We regret to inform that inspite of our several reminders with your Service people here at Coimbatore they never attended our complaint. Your service is very poor and negative we feel sorry to say that it is not worth purchasing this product.
              I am one of the customer of water pureit. I want to replace the battary but no positive reply from your salesman.They are always said battary stock is not available.Whats it? YOURS SERVICE IS VERY VERY POOR.
              Because of that i told to another members.PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE WATER PUREIT.
              We had purchsed Hindustan Lever's Pureit water purifier one year back.Within one month o[censored]sing it we had purchased 2 more.Its indeed a revolutionary product true to HLL's Brand name.But iam really sorry to say that the after sales service for the product is simply pathetic.One has to really slog to get the Service Centre details or the contact number for any service issue.Let me share my experience.I had gifted one pureit to my parents who live in 15-3-87, Palaparthi vari street, NTR Colony, Narsapur-West Godavari-A.P.I have been calling at a mobile number ([protected]) provided to me for service request.Since last 10 days the concerned person is giving me lame execuses for the delay in attending the call.When i was insistent on providing me the contact number of a company representative i was given the mobile number of Mr.J.S.Kumar [protected].I had spoken to Mr Kumar and he is not able to tell me that the given mobile number ([protected]) belongs to whom but then how come Mr Kumar's number was with him?Why is he not disclosing his name and agaency name?Is it that HLL doesnt believe in customer service?Surprisingly even ur Helpline was not able to provide me complete details of the service centre at Narsapur.They had given me only the agency name.-Sridevi Srinivasa Agencies-HLL;Y.N.K.V Hall Street, Narsapur.This means i have to find the rest of the address & even contact number on my own.Is it thats what we call -Customer Service??I really cant believe that a company like Hindustan Unilever doesnt maintain the complete details of its stockist/service centre.I believe it does.But people on ground are playing and framing their own rules.Its high time that something has to be done and bring back the glorious credibility that was associated with Hindustan Unilever .

                Further to my letter dated 18.6.2009 I called your helpline today and spoke to Mr. Sherbaz and he inform me that he will forward my request to his senior. Mr. Nitin tel no. [protected] called on me and informed me that the respresentative from the company will come at 4 pm with the kit but soory to say no one turned up.



                Once again requesting you to look into the matter seriously and ensure that I receive the kit immediately and also my invoice and warranty card.



                I also spoke to Ms. Rubina (Mob: No. [protected] ) from a PCO as she was ignoring my calls made from my mobile.and inform her about the required kit but her response seems to be total negative.

                  I registered for replacement of battery costing Rs.510/- on 19.09.2010. It was asssured by representitives of M/s Pureit that the battery will be replaced before 20.09.2010 evening. On enquiry on 20.09.2010 it came to light that no booking was made on 19.09.2010 and that booking for replacement of battery was registered and that it was assured that battery will be replaced by 21.09.2010 evening. On enquiry today(21.09.2010) the representatives of M/s Pureit are not certain as to when exactly the battery will be replaced.
                  The deteriorated service of the company will definitely cost its customers leading to loss of customers. Will the concerned take remidial action to set right the delay in attending to the customer needs.

                    we've been trying to reach you since morning for the battery change, but in vain.
                    I am daily ringing to water pure it helplines for battery replacement but anyone not responding from last 4-5 days
                    sir!
                    i having a pure it watre filter. its buy from your safe water zone - alambag, lucknow, U.P. but in present time my new address is your safe water zone aliganj, lucknow, U.P. my problem is - all paper are missing and in nearest time my pure it bettery is time out. then how can replace it.
                    As I am a customer for pure it, this is second time going to change the candle, as the life span of the candle is very short. In this scenario, not possible to change the candle in every after 2-3 months. Please take it as a remedial measure to satisfy the million of customers.
                    Battery is not working and nobody is responding to calls on helpline.
                    I have ordered for recharge battery on 30 th oct 2009 but no respond till now.in between i made call to helpline twice, but there was no response.this is very poor management from pureit.
                    Hindustan lever is providing sales after service for its kit change never expected it from big brand name like it. to buu pureit is a mess, go for some other...

                    I purchased Pure it water purifier 4 months ago. When I was ordered to purchase it, they sent it within one day. We were really surprised to have a service provided by them.

                    But after 4 months, when its battery needs to replace, I called 5 times continuously for five days (From 30th Nov-4 Dec 09) on its given helpline no. for Gujarat that is –[protected]. Their always response was to send it within 2 or 3 days. But they didn’t deliver till now. Then what should i do now? My address is-

                    I complained about the change of battery about two weeks ago.the complaint no. is C[protected].I was assured by an ensuing sms that the battery will be replaced within 72 hrs.But it never happened.In the mean time, I reminded several times on the concerned helpline no., but all I received was only assurance, without any action.On the other hand, I received call from a person from pureit, explaining that if I have to change the battery, i will have to do it on my own.This is extreme shameful and obnoxious for a company like Hindustan lever.It is all fake and exposes the inefficiency of the company and apathy towards the customers.

                    I am totaly unhappy with the kit replacement service of Pure it. i am staying at lonavala, pune, at the time of purchase in the year May 2009 from Chinchwad, Nasik Phata, Distt-Pune, we were kept in dark about the service charges for changing kit. when i spoke with customer care executive dated on 9th March 2010 said if the service executive asks u service charges dont pay him and call us.Service supplier not ready to speak with customer care saying they people are like that they dont mention the service charges but u have to pay it, then when i called 10 times continuously to Pure it customer care no body responded on it on the same day immediately dated on 09th March 2010.

                    Please at the time of purchasing mention the customer clearly about the service charge of Rs.50 & do not goofed us.You can not decive customer to sale ur product.keeping ur helpline 24 Hours out of service.

                    Since 7th march 2010, I am contating throgh Karnatak Help line for replacement of battery. Nothing is done so far.                     I have called for demo of pure it water filter, after knowing all features through your website. But the executive comes and say that there are two types of filter.
                    1) With direct water flow facility with water capacity 18 liters(9 above n 9 below filtered water) cost Rs 3200/-
                    2) Manual water filling with water capacity 9 liters(9 above) cost Rs 2000/-

                    The thing is why your team is not disclosing this on websites and not even on the broucher, just saying that it cost for affordable price 2000/-. There should be clarity at least on website so that we know all the features. As in the case of other companies where they have shown all products with price list.

                    Once i heard the complaint from our neighbor against Pure it in regards of booking germ kill kit. But now i am seeing a list of it. People will not write just simply after they got fed up they adopt to complain. Hope these complains will come in positive criticism.

                      I have purchased pure it water filter from you, and after 6 months i saw the battery indicator showing red mark, as it was told that one battery kit filters 1500 liters of water, but when i changed the battery first time after that the kit only worked for 2 months, approximately it must have filtered not more than 150 liters of water. Because during first six months the use was excessive because of guests in my house, even though the battery kit survived for more than six months, but the next time i can see that battery kit is not working properly.
                      Today i have purchased another kit from your executive and made payment for the same. I request you to please look into the matter, and please refund the charges incurred on the 2nd battery kit which i have taken today i.e. 16th June 2009. Since the earlier battery kit didn't lasted as declared by you.

                        Firstly, there are no contact details mentioned on the website against franchisees distributing Pure-it water purifiers (at least I could find none in Hadapsar area of Pune). One has to personally go to the franchisee and register his/her request for after sales support..I registered my request for a replacement battery on 4th June. I was told the replacements were out of stock and would be delivered within 2 days. I have still not received the replacement battery from the Franchisee till date. From your advertisement we have known that pureit gives us 1500 liters water as save as boiled water but within two months our germ kill battery has became red. In the pureit warranty details you assured us that in addition you cover the customer with a 6 months warranty against manufacturing defects & my case is nothing but a manufacturing diffect because two months maxim 700-800 liters water is used in our pureit filterso it is your responsilibity & duty to replace the baterry in free of cost & save your companies warrenty niether I shall published all the details in my city & that can prevent your companies good will. So replace the battery as early as possaible.

                              My experience with Hindustan lever Pure it water purifier has been a nightmare, they have been advertising that protect your family from various diseases by installing this water purifier, the trouble starts once you fall for this advertisement campaign from this point..as for the functioning there is not any issue but when it comes to service the experience is tormenting.My sincere advise to people would be think 10times before deciding on this water purifier and as support is very crucial.

                              I have not heard of getting a complaint no for not attending reported complaint twice-this sounds strange but this is the experience which I experienced from this company not once but FOUR TIMES .Every time you call up and give your customer id the call centre executive’s system will go down and they would say they are not able to access information and would take down your request humbly and the work never gets done.Once I could read their technique they started pleading for additional two days time but it never happens.

                              My first experience is with the replacement of battery kit, i have call five times from 10th may'09 but tii date i have not get the new kit which is very essential to purify the water

                                I am Bhushan Parab I bought pure it Hindustan Unilever Product From Jalaram Agency Bhayander (West) Thane 401101 on 15 Jul-08 After 5 month I have change my pure it battery kit.Now after 7 month the pure it is non-working properly So I went to above mention vendor and described my problem So after that they sent one of there staff with me check the problem. When there staff is come to my home & check the product he realised that battery kit fitted is duplicate which is already used & battery is coloured with white colour so that no one can catch them. In battery there is indication that if battery colour is turn from white to red colour is indication to change the battery.But in our case battary colour is already red and they painted over white colour.Because of that we didn't get pure water for last 7 month that cause my mother get virul infection & She is on bed for 15days.When I approach above mention vendor he was not responding & say do whatever you want.

                                So please look into the matter & take action.

                                  I have ordered for change of battery 19th Feb[protected] After not receiving the battery i have again on 28th March i have reminded for batterery change[protected] I have complaned for the third time on 23rd May(095RB1944) but no one has come to change the battery. Is this the way you people are giving service? What is the use of selling the product if are not able to give service in time? I really fill sorry for a reputed company like you. It is better to go a product o[censored]reka Forbes.

                                  I registered a complaint( complaint#: [protected]) 2 days back regarding my Pureit purifier. The issue is that the water has stopped entering into the lower chamber from upper chamber. Its been around 6 months since we bought the purifier. The candle has become red. The service guy came to our place, replaced the kit and charged Rs.380 ( gave us no receipt) but the problem persists. He had absolutely no patience to see if the purifier is actually working . All he cared about was money. You spend 1000 bucks to buy a purifier and you get a service of this level. This is really very annoying.

                                      Distributor in Tirunelveli, refuse to delivery the battery kit to my residence as they needs Rs.365 for battery kit and extra for delivery charge. But in website and the customer care executive say the price as Rs.350 plus Rs.15 delivery charge. This is getting repeated quite often. Last month they got Rs.385 in my absence from my home. This issue needs immediate attention and the company should have control and proper monitoring over the distributors.

                                        "worst after sales service - hindustan pureit"
                                        My name is kamlesh r bhayani, I belong to coimbatore, i usually go the distributor to buy the battery kit when ever it stops purifing the water and shows red. my mobile no. is my ID no.( [protected])
                                        but this time the distributor has changed his office and shifted 6 kms away, so i thought of booking over phone via customer care no. so on 24 th october 2009 i booked my battery kit and with the new address of delivery - i was informed that it will take 3 working days for delivery., this customer care no. was of mumbai., which they have printed on the battery kit box, and again to confirm the delivery i rang up the customer care no. based at chennai on 28 october 2009 this time I copied the no. written on hindustan pureit used in a doctors clinic, including the no. of sales team which was written on the box kept in the clinic., from both the places I received that it will take another 3 days for delivery because previously youhad booked at mumbai which was not registered, ( but only the new address was corrected by mumbai customer care.)
                                        Again after 3 days that is on 2 november 2009, I called up the customer care that I have not received my battery kit, they told it will take another 24hrs for delivery, at the same time I called up coimbatore based distributer they told we have not been informed still about your requirement, but it will be delivery in another 3 days, again I reminded them on 3, 4, 5 that I am un urgent need becuase my battery is no more operative, but they did not care neither any inbetween any phone calls from their side regarding the status of delivery.
                                        And today the 6th november 2009 at 16.00 hrs that is even after 12 days still I have not received my battery kit, even though I told them that I am going to file a suit in consumer court, as well I am going to take road show with your hindustanpureit filter in bullock cart by creating awareness in public not to buy such product, than also I did not receive any favourable reply from their side,
                                        so, please guide us what action to be taken in this matter.

                                        dearsir/madam, battery of the purifier indicate red signal this mean it is damage so i request to change this battery my adress - 33, radhapuram colony near gyaanu aata chakki, kanchanpur matiyari chinhut lucknow u.p.
                                        There is need to urgent attention to the quality and response time of service by the HUL for supplying of pure it battery kit in Kochi also. Since last 3 times whenever I have to change the kit, The time taken by HUL is 10-15 days.

                                        This is also after ringing up around 100 times to the custmer care. The after sail service need to be enhanced by HUL. Other wise I will advice people to not by this product at all. By the water pureifier which is backed by the better and quick after sell service by the company.
                                        yeah, batterys are not produced by the company..

                                        I have purchased a battery of Pure It , a product of Hindusthan Uniliver Limited in the month of March 2010 for Amounting of Rs. 500/- . My conplaint is that, In three months such battery has been become red , .

                                        I had booked a Germkill Battery on July 07, 2010. The order number is S10/DLI[protected]. I was told the delivery would happen in 48 hours, as usual. When it was not delivered, I called up again and lodged a complaint. The complaint No. is C[protected]dated 9 July, 2010). I also placed order for another one- vide order number S10/DLI[protected]dated 9 July 2010). So in all I have ordered for two. Till date not even one has been delivered. Subsequently I inquired about it ten times more and complained as many times. These complaint numbers are: C10242035, C[protected]. Surprisingly after one such conversation I got text message stating your complaint has been attended to and is being closed. It also asked for feedback to which I responded saying I am not satisfied. I don't know what "complaint has been addressed and attended to" mean, as the underlying point in that complaint is non-delivery of the Germkill Battery, which is still due. You may find all my correspondence against my mobile number [protected] in your system. I am surprised at the attitude and level of service provided.

                                        Hindustan Unilever Limited / Pureit — Pureit Germkill Battery Expired before its tenure

                                        I am using Purit for water purifier a product of Hindustan Unilever Limited, i gave a complaint on 26th April' 11 about early expiration of their battery Kit. But till date no support or solution i get. Between this periods many times i called to Customer care, but only verbally assurance i get, that tomorrow definitely you will get result.

                                        Case History :- i have ordered for battery kit on 8th March'11 and same was installed by 9th March for a value of Rs. 580/- ( Consumption Limit 2250 Ltr ), Battery kit was expired on 26th April' 11. We are 6 people in family, used only for drinking. In only 49 day battery kit was expired. Previous kit i have used for 4-5 Month
