Sir,
You are marketing hindustan Unilever "Pureit" perhaps the first of its kind.
You are unable to provide AFTER SALE SERVICE to "DEMOSTIC PRODUCT".
Demostic means Servise at door..
Particularly at odd hours morning, evening, sundays holidays etc.
I refer to my complaints for checking the unit if it requires to replace some parts such as battery etc.

Hence requested to attend the job after 6.30PM or on Sunday with prior appointment.
Till date i.e on 20/05/2009 no one has taken any action on the subject.
Kindly guide me whom to contact so that my unit 'Pureit' is taken care of.

We have brought a 'pure it' water filter 1 year ago, it works perfectly but now the battery is over.
We ordered a new kit of battery in the 'pure it' website, 1 month ago. But still now, We have no response from the company. As same as the last time for the same purpose, same problem occured. We won't ask to give the battery kit for free but even they produce no response to us

    I purchased this water purifier 1 year back and in last August battery replaced. Now for the last 10 days we have been contacting your personnel Mr. Shivakumar[protected]name and no. indicated in the invoice) he has been promising to come everyday . We have also requested Mr Shivakumar to come evening after 6 O' clock, since we are not available during daytime. Till the moment of writing this complaint there is no reply.
    There is no office contact no. and responsible people to take care of complaints. We rather request you to take back your product, if you cannot meet customer needs.

      hindustan lever pureit — No proper cusomer service

      I have called the consumer care no so many times & resistered the Compliant regarding the Changing the battery kit & others assesseries. But i havent recevied so far .
      This is not the single time.
      This is the problem when every time comes

      Hindustan Lever has most pathetic service. i have ordered a change of tap and made my complain in mid august. we are starting october and there is no response. i think buying pureit was the biggest mistake we made. i am sure even this comment will not yeild any response from them. and to think of it hindustan lever is such a reputed company. atleast i am going to dissuade anyone trying to buy a pureit from now on.

      hindustan pureit — no proper service

      I am a customer of Hindustan pureit. I have this water purifier for the last two years. every time the battery has to be replaced it takes them around two months to replace the battery kit. They dont tell us the name of the service centre not give the phone number. Every time I call they promise to deliver the kit in two working days. I have requested for a kit on the 23rd of Sept and today is 1st Oct and still no response from them.

      Hope the company wakes up from its slumber.

      We purchased Pure It water filter 4 months back and once we changed its Battery with worth of Rs 500 +. After changing that some days it worked. But at present water is not filtering its Batter Life Indicator is plane only ( Not become Red ). For the last 10 days we r trying to lodge complaint but your customer care No [protected] is not working. Now we r feeling unnecessarily we purchased this. I[censored] have any Phone Number near by our city, please give us. So that we can purchase at them. We r residing at Hanamkonda, Warangal Distict of Andhra Pradesh State.
      HLL is providing worst service. please dont buy pure it. Their service is too worst in the world. They are looking for one time sale of product after that no service from their part.

      We made a request on 31.5.10 for replacement of kit and we were assured replacement by 1.6.2010 but nothing has happened till now. Their contact No.[protected] is also not working now. Please instruct your men suitably. we are

      I had made a request for replacment of kit on 1.06.10 but there ws no response . After waiting for three days, i again lodget a request on 5.06.10, but again 2 days have passed and no one has come to replace it.

      Last 15 days I am waiting for the Pureit germ kill kit, but this has not yet delivered.

      This is utterly disgusting. Why the hell is this taking hell lot of time? Customer care is just horrible. I have also logged complain but no further contact from company side.

      You people should understand the problem of the consumers. Taking Pureit was the biggest mistake of my life.

Its 23rd April today, and have called their call center at least 5 times now. No response till now.         A water filter supllied by Hindustan Lever named Pureit during Dec2008 has become out of order. there is no response for complaints with no proper person, service agent or complaint cell responding over 15days. This really spoil the image of multinational company like HUL very badly. Customer are left with no other option than complaining to cosumer courts.

        I am also very disappointed by purchasing the pureit due to the very poor service. I have booked a pureit battery kit about 2 months ago and loged complaint for non delivery of the same several times at their help line. But unfortunately still i not get the delivery of battery kit. Each time help line executive assured me to deliver the same within 2/3 working days and ultimately it is proved false commitment. I don't know how company like HUL is having such poorest service and because of their untruth service commitment my family including my two childrens are drinking unsafe water. Is HUL will take the responsibily of any harm of me and my family?

          I registered a call on 8.5.09 to HLL Pureit Call Centre [protected] for replacement a tap and the micro fiber. Till date I have not received the order the day i called was exactly 8 am and the exec by the name Basvaraj told me that the system is slow and asked to call back and take the order #, also he advised that the order would be placed and the field exec would come and deliver it by 2 days and so till date that 2 day has completed for not HLL Pureit . I called up again on 11/5/09 to ask about it and then another exec advised it will be there at my place by end of day and that day also it did not come and today 12/5/09 I called them up again and now the first exec with whom i spoke to answered my call and advised that the service would be provided within 48 hrs (same 2 days ) and so gave me a compliant number (C[protected] to satisfy me as i was on the call i am really getting sick of this stuff of calling your call center which is of no use, so i would like to know if i can escalate this issue to any of the higher officers.This is not fair on your brand part to be so pathatic in tearms of srevice.

          While selling the product, they run behind the customer, later for service, customer has to run/spend/waste time for complaints as they wont give a proper service.

          i also registered for supply of battery kit and fibre mesh on 05 Jul 09 till date 16 Jul 09 they haven't supplied if asked the cus. care tells will be supplied in next three working days. this goes onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. but the item didn't reach us. Even the cus. care gave me the sales manager of the area(Navi Mumbai) mobile no. I called him, he asked me to SMS my address and assured of item delivery on the same evening. The evening didn't come till... It shows the sincerity of the cus. care and the sales manager. (hope he is a sales manager). The higher authories are not efficient to take charge of these people.

I am a student n I am at present doin a proj in HUL water PURE IT division.. there s a huge stock prob now at HUL.. customers who hav booked the kit in the past r not receivin their device.. is ther a solution for this?? YES.. HUL people do have a solution..

          wat they did was, they hav many old device which they get while BUY BACK offfer.. HUL people take one part from each kit n make it a device n deliver it to customer.. this happened.. do believe.. I do not belong to any anti-HUL community.. so make up ur mind before buyin it..
          no reponse ... one week after replacing a new battery water has been leaking out and we made complaint three times about the matter to chennai office and no action as been taken till know and the sevice is very poor and regretted and this not the frist time and if this attitude towards us is continued we will change for another product

            I have booked for a HLL PureIT Battery Kit 4 months back and so for those executives didn't deliver me with one. My repeated phone calls to the Customer Care and mails were in vain.

            I never seen such a bad response in my life so for. And i don't know where to move...

            It would be a better idea for me to throw the Hindustan Pureit into Dustbin as it is of no use wtihout a battery.

            At least you could throw away that filter but I even can't though am being tortured again for 2nd time as that was gifted to me by my sis.. who was really happy to know the features but only if she would have known the troubles involved in getting battery kit. I hope she could have waited for her exprience on battery kit.. For me I was fortunate enough to get first battery kit in 1 or 2 months but was expecting a better delivery this time but thanks to these guys for proving me wrong and aptly forcifying on the thought - that we never lear from our past errors.. And to height on my 2nd call at call center to know the status of order (after 4 days) I was told there was no order placed.

            PureIT Battery KIT — Failure in delivery of Battery KIT after 4 months of ordering

            I have booked for a PureIT Battery Kit 4 months back and so for those executives didn't deliver me with one. My repeated phone calls to the Customer Care were in vain and even they dont connect our call to the concern executives to give a complaint.

            I never seen such a bad response in my life so for. And i don't know where to move from here.

            It would be a better idea for me to throw the PureIT water purifier into dustbin which is of no use without a battery.

              i am not getting spare kit yet on today 24.06.09, as ordered april 4th.
              there is no response adition to saying that there is a problem from the helpline for the past two months.
              even after a looooooooooong period it will not change.
              the advt nowdays on tv challanging one crore ruppess, as they are not able serve a spare kit, they must feel shame on every broad casting on that advt.if they are not able supply a kit worth 350, will they give one crore ??????????????????? NEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRR...

              pl provide a plan to return your product. you will get 100% as you produced.

              Hindustan Lever is fooling Indian Customers . .no different than what other American & Chinese companies do.

              I am not satified with the behavious of our service representative, I am using this filter since 2007 and has been replacing Battery kit every 3 months but last Friday(10/23/09) the representative who visited my home to replace the battery kit didn't do a good job and misbehaved with my wife ...Please ensure that properly trained technicians are engaged for servicing . I lodged a complain in the helpline Complain #[protected] and I was told that within 2 days someone will visit to fix the problems but so far no one visited us
              I had purchased the pure it thinking that it will be the end of my problems but it seems the company is more interested in focussing on its 1 crore challange and doesnt give two hoots to its customer care support. My battery ran off on 13th of october and I asked for a replacement to its customer care helpline (order no. s0/DL[protected] for the battery worth INR 510. Could you beat it??? I did not get the replacement till 23rd so I made a complaint C[protected]; the representative promised immediate replacement which was never to be so I made two more complaints on 25th october and on 30th october vide complaint no C[protected] and C[protected] and still hoping that I get a battery...meanwhile my purifier is lying idle and is not filtering any water. Thank god for my Aqua Guard other wise I would be buying mineral water...
              pure it kit should contain the filter through which water is directly added. My pureit unit is not working because of it only as water doesnot filtered through it.
              My pure it water filter is not working poperly after UR personnel change the battery kit one months ago.

              I had put a complanit on 09.11.09 for leakage complain no.C[protected].Nobody turns out & on 11.11.09 I got sms that your complant is attended.After calling again on same day it was told that sms was send due to system error.(???????) & given me new complant no.C[protected].But still today nobody turns out.
              I will not recommend this instrument to anybody hereafter because of such poor srevice.

              We are purchase Pureit water purifier on 14th February,2010. It is not Filtered & Purified. We are call so many times to customer care service. But there is no response at that side. We are faced so many problems due to this.

              Ants have invaded the space between the battery box and the outer cover and they are moving about in that space. When I called PureIT helpline on Dec 18th, Sunday morning, Ms.Shailaja told me that they have received many such complaints and they will send a technician to fix it.

              The important question is not cleaning the system of the ants, but answering how and why the ants have got in to the system. If the system is properly sealed, ants should not be able to get in and if they have got in, there are organic impurities inside the system which attract them in to the system. The impurities may of course come from the water that is being purified, but how are they subsequently disposed of is the question to be answere.

              The company should make a thorough investigation and withdraw the product till such time the cause is not identified and fixed.

              I have photographs of the system with ants inside and but for the present am not publishing it here.

                  In the current TV ad for Lifebuoy Soap the company claims to have conducted a survey wherein the occupents of one building using this product were found more immune to dieseases than the occupent of other building using other soaps.
                  If the claims made by the company are correct then, in the interest of the not so stupid consumers, it would be fair for the company to inform the consumers
                  1. Time when the survey was conducetd.
                  2. Place where the survey was conducted.

The ad says that the soap was used 5 times a day- In what way? 5 baths, 5 hand washes... its not clear. plus the fine print is too fine for comfort, and is displayed for too short a duration to be read by human eyes. When i emailed the company regarding this, and asked for the details of the study, they asked for my phone no. I refused, and told them to email me the details. They haven't replied to my mails for a week. Something's fishy!!!

                  Hi, I have been using lifebuoy plus international soap (early it was called lifebuoy personal If i remeber it right) right from the time it was launched, suddenly I see it is gone, not sure why such decisioin by the company, the new lifebuoy is no good for me, I have tried it, and now shifted to Dettol, I will surely use lifebouy plus international if it is launched back in the same old form or better. I wrote to Lifebuoy but there has been no response from them.

                  Moreover the advt says one thousand boys from building A were using Lifebuoy soap and none of the thousand boys in Building B used Lifebuoy. Which skyscraper in India can give you this size of a sample? The improvement seen is in School attendance. To which schools were the boys going? How did they gain access to school attendance records of so many schools? Lifebuoy being a common soap how come boys in Building B are not using it on their own. Definitely a percentage of boys must be using Lifebuoy.

                  If they had studied attendance records for one year in a few schools, then gave all the boys free Lifebuoy to use 5 times a day for a year, then compared the attendance rates then we may conclude certain things safely. The whole study seems fishy, cooked up and aimed at stupid gullible mothers. I consider this ad unreliable, naive and idiotic.

                  I have been using Lifebuoy International Plus for the past 3 years and I found it useful in many ways of daily life. It is effective in fighting pimples, and other skin allergies that I generally get. It's smell is good and not so strong like the other so-called antibacterial soaps. This is the only and the only soap I ever found perfect for my total family. Unfortunately, its production has been stopped and I've been struggling to get a soap as good as Lifebuoy International Plus.

                  This soap really rocks.

                  I'm really missing the soap.

                  It would be just great if you restart the production of Lifebuoy International Plus.

                    PURE IT - SALES MANAGER,

                    I am planning to buy PURE IT water purifier. Before that just i have turn into website for customer care response, toll free number response, warranty period and other details of dealership. But i am quite surprising there is poor response from company. They received lot of complaints from customer within 3 months and few of stock materials not having with the company.

                    What i am suggesting to the company that THEY SHOULD Concentrate only the QUALITY OF SERVICE/Customer Response after sale is very important in order to achieve the Expected Sales Turnover. HLL is branded, they have Gooodwill. But such a simple business concept ignored.

                    The will definitely increase the authorised dealer with sufficient no of service personnel for customer care. They only the people believe the organisation.

                    I am advising the SALES MANAGER, MD of this company that pl.take this advise and consider me as sample customer that i personally feel after reading the customer complaints i am just postpone the purchase of PURE IT WATER PURIFIER.

                      I have purchased Hindustan Unilever's Pureit in-home water purifier on 12 Sept 2007
                      Vide invoice no IS07/HYD[protected] and
                      customer id –[protected]

                      As my battery kit was showing red colour sign so I have requested for change of battery kit on 22 April 2009 at helpline tele no [protected] ( Andhra Pradesh) Order No S-09/ HYD [protected] and since no company representative has come to my home / contacted me for the change of battery kit so I again reported the matter on helpline tele phone on 28 April 2009 ( compliant no C[protected] .
                      Again no representative has come to my home / contacted me for the change of battery kit so I again called the helpline tele no [protected] on 02 May 2009 at 1425 Hrs and the call was answered by Mr RAJESH who was not ready to listen to my complaint and misbehaved with me and after lot of persuasion he took the complaints for battery kit replacement ( compliant no C[protected] Till this date no reps from the Hindustan Unilever's Pureit company has contacted us for the battery kit replacement .
                      It very unfortunate that Hindustan Unilever's representatives are behaving in such manner with their bonafide customers.
                      I have never seen such a worst after sale service that too with drinking water issues in such a hot summer seasons

I had not been to your office for buying the same. Your person had installed at my residence. Why they had not communicated your hidden strategy.

                      I request you to replace cartridge tomorrow by 11:00A.M OR I want refund of Rs.1800/- and collect your water purifier immediately.

                          I BOUGHT A PUREIT FROM LUCKNOW ON 31.12.08. WITHIN THREE MONTHS, ON 23.3.09, THE WATER FILTER'S TOP RIGHT SIDE WAS IN FLAMES-SMOKE ALL AROUND IT. THE BODY MELTED-TOP RIGHT SIDE

                            I had purchase PUREIT on 16/09/2008. My Client ID is. [protected]. I had place an order on 20/04/2009 for new GERMIKILL Battery Kit. Despite of daily reminder nobody is interest to attend complain. Eventhough we are agree to pay Rs. 15/- extra (without bill) being a service charge. If you are not able to solve it please call back your machine immeditaely and refund my money.

                                Problem : After a lot of try around 6 Months, always lines are busy and kept on hold for half an hour., we logged a complain to resolve the water leakage problem of the HUL Pureit product. Unfortunatelly there is no positive response we are getting from the service centre, and my purifier is kept as useless box. Please do the needful as I am fed up with the response from HUL Water Purifier "Pureit" Support & Services.
                                I am thinking in terms of buying this product. But, as in this case, the post sales service, as well as replacement of the germ-kill battery set seems to be a very big negative aspect.

                                Hindustan Unilever ltd, pureit product — germkill battery kit-worst customer service

                                Dear Sir,

                                The customer service of Hindustan Unilever Ltd for the PureIt water purifier product is the worst service I have come across. The response time (call waiting queue) over phone is more than 45 minutes. The representatives have a casual attitude and even after the escalation and talking to the supervisor of the customer service, the germ kit battery has still not been delivered for over more than a week. Almost, every day a follow up call has to be made the customer service center asking for the status of the order and complaint, but there is is only false time line commitments and no call back or delivery of the germ kill battery kit. Does the company have any idea or knowledge regards the inconvenience and trouble caused to the consumer of PUREIT product?? I recommend that please DO NOT BUY the water purifier (pureit) product of Hindustan Unilever ltd, otherwise you will suffer like the rest o[censored]s.

                                  I had purchased a pack of Modern Bread recently and opened it within the expiry date. But I found that it contained a lot of fungus. I called up at the Chennai phone number provided on the wrapper and lodged my complaint immediately. I got a call from some 'quality control' person assuring me of action. But I am yet to hear from him again. I'm really appalled by the attitude o[censored]nilever. It cannot get away with poor quality control in other countries.                                   I have been writing in newspapers about this lacuna since long but no reply from Bread manufacturers. Writing "Best Before Date" instead "Manufacturing date" over the Bread wrapper is beneficial to Bread manufacturers.
                                  Suppose on a particular day (say 1st May) the bakery bakes 5000 loaves then they can pack same bread in wrappers of different "Best Before Dates" ie 5th May, 6th May 7th May 8th May, and even 9th May and distribute for entire next week. Thus consumer can get 8-9 days old bread without violating the Legal Metrology package rule. In case they choose to write "Manufacture Date" then they have tu use only wrapper having this date, because consumer will not accept bread with future Manufacture Date. This is probably only packaged food item without MF Date.

                                    Dear Sir
                                    Iam krishnan from chennai.I have failed to deposit a hul's special dividend cheque amounting to rs.600 so i couriered the non deposit cheque on 10/03/09 to your address given at the back of the cheque.but till this date i have not received any communication from your end.My dividend warrant no. is 4587404 special dividend for 2007.I would request you to do the needful as early as possible.
                                    Iam sending my dividend warrant xerox copy as attachment for your verification.

                                    Dividend — Non Receipt of Dividend

                                    I have 300 shares of Godawari Power and ISpat Limited. According to its result of 2009-10, dividend of Rs 2.5/ per share has accrued to me, but i have not yet received the same. I have mailed repeated no of times but i am not getting a satisfactory reply.

                                        One more filter No:MSB[protected].

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        With reference to the above filter purchased on 10.02.2009 from M/s. Ganapathy SW2 (Sree Maruthi Distributers), Old No 1351/New No.292, Sathy Road, Venatesapuram, Ganapathy, Coimbatore, PIN 641 006, Tamil Nadur State.
                                        Actually I have booked the purit through our helpline No:[protected]. But delivery of purit get it from the above said distributer. For delivery there are two executive came (Mr. Yuvaraj - Contact No:[protected] and Mr. Vimal - Contact No:[protected]) .

                                        I have purchased two purit. One is for my purpose at Coimbatore and Another one is for my sister at Tirupur. The delivery time I requested your executives to deliver one filter at Tirupur, and they confirmed that it will be done without any charges. After 4th of day the same person came and take the filter for delivery to Tirupur and they collected Rs.100/- for transportation charges. I was also not interested for unnecessory arguments, So I paid Rs.100/-. When they delivered at Tirupur Again the Auto charges paid by my sister. As per your advertisement, the purit is free home delivery in Tamil Nadu.

                                        IInd issue: The filter brought without invoice and there were no cash bill given to me. When I asked the cash bill, the person given a order request form and he told that this is the cash bill. After several complaints, they given one invoice without any company seal and no warranty card given. For one more filter at Tirupur, Still we have not yet received the cash bill. In your customer service, I have spoke to several time (Mis. Umayal, Mr. Vinod).Instantly they are replying that the bill will get it with in 24 hours. But so many 24 hours left, but the bill not yet received.

                                        IIIrd issue:When the delivery boy given demo for the usage of filter, they told that the water will not overflow. But once the bottom drum has filled. If we drop the water in the top drum, its overflowing. Also The top side of the drum glasses getting moiture.
