I made a transaction on 10.05.2011 to recharge my Dish TV connection for Rs. 3550 thru dishtv site. It took me to rechargeitnow.com where the credit card was processed and after VBV screen it went bank to rechargeitnow.com home page instead of returning back to dishtv. Money has been paid from my card account.
I have been following up with dishtv, the eggheads sitting in their call centre ask for a scanned bank statement despite my clarification several times that credit card statement gets generated only on the billing date.
I provided bank's transaction number and reference number for this transaction to DISHTV but to no avail.
rechargeitnow.com provides no CONTACT INFORMATION (no phone number, no email address, nothing, signs of a scamming site??) on their site as opposed to various other payment sites, it has got a contact us page with a form which fails to submit and after repeated tries when it was successful i got the following email from them. the mailbox from which this email was sent to me cannot be replied to.
I have no other option left but to ask my credit card banker to make this transaction as DISPUTED. I will switch to another DTH service provider there are plenty. Dish TV Sucks!!!

Resolution Process
1. Our customer service team will verify your transaction and process a refund/recharge at the earliest. This will normally take 2 working days (excluding Sundays & holidays). Rest assured your complaint will be attended to and wait for our response, please do not send a follow-up message before three days of logging your complaint.
2. All failed recharges will be re-tried by the system and normally a recharge will be granted within 2 working days (excluding Sundays & holidays). You will receive an email with confirmation of recharge details.
3. In case we are unable to deliver a recharge due to a technical reason, a refund will be processed in 2 working days and mail will be sent to you in confirmation. Please take note that your bank may take another 4-7 working days to reflect a credit in your account. Kindly wait for 8 days for this process to complete.
4. If you do not receive a satisfactory resolution within 8 days of transaction, you may escalate the ticket by choosing escalation option on our contact us page. Kindly note escalation request can only be logged after 8 days of the transaction. All escalation requests will be handled by a dedicated team, which will provide you a resolution within 2 working days.
