Hi,

I have booked 2 tickets online from Bangalore to Vijayawada through redbus online bookings.
The PNR # is AGB7O2GK. The travels name mentioned in the ticket was Rajesh travels, Bus Type: Volvo A/C ITDC SPL and the seat numbers are 5 and 6.We were there on time waiting for the bus. They did not call us while leaving.And we missed the bus. We paid Rs.3000 only to miss the bus and get disappointed. We have talked to the rajesh travel guys and they said that the redbus people had given them a contact number which we have no idea of whose it is. I have mentioned my contact no. while booking the ticket online to which I received a message immediately after booking online. And I did not receive any call on 25th night, not even once. This is not something we expected from redbus travels. I need the money that we spent booking the ticket, i.e. Rs.3000. My contact no. +91 [protected].

I presume that the basic reason for which the travel people ask for the phone numbers is to contact the customers just to confirm their boarding of the bus at the boarding time. We have actually seen the bus with the name ITDC SPL that night but the name Rajesh Travels was no where mentioned on the bus. Laymen like us wouldn't be paying so much of attention to the bus type mentioned in the ticket. All we were looking for was Rajesh travels. And the bus guys did not call us for no fault of both o[censored]s as they said that the redbus people had given them the wrong number.We were waiting there till 11pm that night trying to reach the redbus poeple and their phones were continuously engaged.

These are private travels, they don't have a specific spot as their bus stop. All they said was Indra nagar, police station. It's a whole big stretch of a foot path and buses were randomly stopping at their own convinient places. Now you dont expect the customers to keep running all around the foot path. Which is why they take our phone numbers to make it convinient. We actually saw the ITDC spl bus which stopped quite far from the place where we were standing. We didnot pay notice because there was no Rajesh Travels mentioned on the bus and neither did anybody call us.

Is it not fair enough for us to get back the money? Our whole weekend plan was spoiled and we lost 3000 Rs. which is quite a costly affair. If you say we have mistake on our side, then atleast we should get half the amount back i.e. Rs.1500. Hope we get the justice.

SPL Travels — Refund Related

I booked a ticket from Kayathaar to Chennai on Journey date 29-Jan-2012.The ticket fare was 850.During the tarvel, The bus broke down in the mid night at 1 o clock near Trichi which is half of the distance to chennai from Thirunelveli.

The drivers and the owner were rude and did not take any steps to arrange for alternate transport. All paasengers were waiting till 5:30 on the road afterwards one of the passengers went to next town and brought a private cab that costs 500Rs per head since that was a last minute arrangement.

The owner switched off his mobile phone and went to sleep without considering the safety of all passengers.
The refund was not made from tarvel side. While talking on the phone the owner used abusive words and cut the call

    sir my name is P Sathish Kumar working in Indian Navy posted in Mumbai and i went on leave to Hyderabad from there i took an online bus ticket from redbus.in in AP Tourism travels Volvo A/C my ticket No. TBBN83529784 seat no R7, journey date on 26 Oct 09, boarding point is from Nampally but i have informed on [protected] about my boarding point from Amir Pet and present at that point at 09:30 PM and confirmed from that no. about the reaching time to Amir pet he then replied me he will reach at 10:30 pm at Amir pet then inbetween i confirmed several times from him and the place where i was waiting and then at 10:30 PM when again i called him he relplied that he had crossed KPHB colony bythat time and he could not do anything about myself and left me irresposibly.

    So i again tried many times to help in some or the other way but he refused so i have to catch another SAHIR travels at a cost of 1200/- for the sofa seat located at the rear side of the bus which was very uncomfotable and even filthy.

    So can u pls tell me who is responsible for the agony and trouma which i was suffered and the loss of money and time and the physical harrasment which i have gone through. As iam working in Indian Navy i have to reach at any cost by 1400 hrs on 27 Oct 09. pls tell me who will be responsibe for all the sufferings which i had gone through .My mob no. from which which i have made calls to that service is ([protected]) and presently iam holding no. is ([protected])

      I have booked a ticekt via Redbus.in from Coimbatore to Chennai for 25/10/09.
      From the options available, I chose Sangita Travels Ac 2+2 Seater for 750/-.
      The rate was too much considering the train rates (3rd AC even)

      But what was all the more disappointing was, by charging Volvo rates, the bus which was available was a decade old Leyland with very bad suspension ( It was not Sangita Travels- It was Sam tours and Travels)

      The ride comfprt was very bad ( In was in the rear most seat ). The Ac split openings was not working. The controls were not working. The chilled air was folowing in. The seats were making creaking noise. The push back controls was not working. The vibrations and engine noise was way too much. The jumps experienced in the back made me awake all night.

      i never had such a bad experience with any of the buses like this.
      This infact helped me develop a cold which in turn transfigured to a mild fever and kept me out of office for 2 days. Apart from the financial loss that i sufffered, i had to keep myself away from office also for 2 days which was led to my loss of productivity.

      I request the concerned to look into this and stop the service of the bus. Infact all the passengers in the bus shared the same opinion and I represent all of my fellow passengers.

      this is nothing but cheating the hapless customer.

        There is a Big Problem that I want to bring to your notice!

        I have booked a ticket on Redbus from Katra to Delhi (I wanted to do it from Jammu to Delhi but Deepa from Redbus made me book it from Katra). I was assured by the lady that I will get the pickup from Jammu only as I had to take the bus from Jammu. The details or the booking are:

        Today when I called up the operator in Jammu for a pickup, the operator refused to give me a single sleeper and said they don’t have it. When I contacted Redbus, they said we cant do anything about it and told me that they can cancel the ticket but cant arrange a sleeper, whereas, at the time of booking, the Redbus people committed to me that it will be done and only after the confirmation I have got the ticket booked.

        I want to know what can be done for this? Who will pay for the extra loss that I am going to incur today due to an extra days stay in the hotel? I cant travel in AC bus due to health reasons that’s why I got this bus done.

        Now they have sent me the cancelation of the ticket, but what about the refund? Why does a company play with the customers?

        This is truly unfair, I have booked a ticket through REDBUS for an
        AC Bus, but at the time of boarding they have given me an NON A/C bus.
        They told me that its the issue with red bus portal.

        I Really got held up on that day.

        I had given a complaint mail to redbus on 19/12/2010.

        Till now there is no response from any of the executives.
        They are worst in customer service.

          I had booked tickets for Goa (including return tickets). I had booked my ongoing journey for October 16th, but RedBus booked the ticket for October 15th. As a result, I had to cancel my Goa trip because I did not get any replacement tickets and had to cancel the tickets as well.

          I informed RedBus of the same, however there was no prompt response. I had to call up the customer care a number of times before I was told that the tickets would be cancelled. Then one of the customer care representatives, Ms. Saritha, informed me that I would be getting the full refund of Rs. 3700 and also took down my bank account number. She told me that I would get my refund before October 23, 2009 (Friday). I waited till the date and got no refund.

          When I tried contacting the customer care, they would either put me on hold or lie to me that they will return my call in 10 minutes and never call.

          I recommend that nobody uses RedBus to book tickets

          1. They are not reliable - they will end up booking your tickets for the wrong date and not even provide a replacement ticket
          2. They will disappear when asked for refunds

          An unreliable company like RedBus should be banned from doing business. Do not promote this company, and do not do any business with it.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I had booked a sleeper seat from Hyderabad to Pune for 04-Oct-2009, when called to the concerned travels i.e SVR tours and travels before the travel date they confirmed the tickets and exactly when called to re confirm on the date of journey SVR persons said that they are running that bus and they suggested to consult Redbus.in people on their help line numbers. now the complaints are.

            1. Help line numbers answers customer calls very rarely.
            2. Though REDBUS agreed that the service is not available that day.. later after 3 days they replied to my mail which was sent to [protected]@redbus.in saying that Bus was available on that day and redbus had paid the money to SVR already...

            This is really irritating and clearly cheating done !!
            1. For people who booked tickets online using redbus,, SVR will say bus is not running that day and contact redbus..and at that time redbus will not respond.. in the mean time SVR sells that seat to some one else.. later redbus will say bus was there on that day..

            this process is not transparent and lots of customers being cheated in this way...

            SVR is cheating customers and REDBUS is supporting SVR.. using online facility,,

            Both redbus and SVR travels..should be sued and punished..

            SVR Travels — Delay and Cancellation

            Hi All,

            The SVR Traveles are really hopeless, and never ever travelled with this travell company.
            We planned our trip from Hyderabad to Bangalore for their last available bus scheduled at 11:30 from Hyderabad. We booked the ticket of three person for arround the 2630 rupees from their website http://www.svrtravels.com/

            During earlier call they said there is delay for bus and it will reach at 12:00 o'clock night. Agained we call the contact person given on ticket he told us again that their will be more delay by 30 min. finally we called him at 1:00 0'clock night still was same answer.

            So cnclusion is never ever try travel with such unprofessional, hopeless and absolutly pathetic travel agency.

            Horrible support from SVR. I dont know how they are surviving. With such careless customer support, very soon they will be out of business. Dont think that having good businesses is the business. If you dont care about your customers, customers dont care. Very rude behaviour, all dum senseless guys lift the call at times and respond very rudely.

            The other biggest problem is the online ticket reservation system, which is really nonsense and if ask how to overcome the problme, the simple answer is use a different credit card, come to my office etc..

            Today is my journey in svr travels from hyd to tp gudem .i am writing this today while iam in travel.I booked the ticket through red bus.Firstly i would like to say that the service from red bus and svr is too worst.I dont know how they are running these many buses.I have reached the stop before 15 mins and the bus crossed my stop and after going 4 stops they had called me and told me to come there.which is 2 km s from the stop.I went there by walking as no service avaliable. There was proper service and the response was too worst.

            About Red Bus:
            By using red bus i have booked the ticket twice.The 2 experiences was too worst for me .I am receving your mails and msgs to my mobile .but when there is a change in bus or something i did not get your message.for the 1st time in travel i have called the call center nearly 25 times to get the bus conductor number.At that time i have not given any feedback, bit today i was again dissatisfied with this travel.
            i really agreed. Even i have the same experience . We should let them know that without passenger they are nothing. Nopw its the time to fight. Dont keep silent & please spread this such as no one will buy tickets of SVR at any cost. Let them do business without passenger.

              Dear Concern,

              This is with regards to request for cancellation of ticket.

              I had requested for the same and it has not been done providing a reason that they cant do so.
              While I had gotten approval from the concerned Travel Agency, Redbus didnt support on timely manner. And this has led a loss of Rs.500 to me.

              Though I had requested much before time my request wasnt acted upon.

              I tried to call the customer care and tried to cancel online.
              but failed to cancel it
              Through Redbus, I had booked ticket from Pune to Indore for[protected] with Rajratan Tours. I received message that bus got cancelled due to low no of passengers. They give me booking for very next day but again it got cancelled and this time even didn't send sms. Rajratan just called and settled on phone call.

              I raised concern with Redbus (Tkt #1843514) for the same. But Redbus helpline people asked me to send details through mail and then didn't respond.

              I again called helpline and sent them mail with all the required details. Still no reply received from them.

              Big time frustrated with such a weird behavior. Please help me with correct contact person.

                Cheating on Huns Bus ticket. I had booked a ticket for my Brother Rahul Chauhan for Pune to Mumbai on Huns Bus for travel on 13/Sep. The ticket number was TBA[protected].

                Huns Bus driver/Khallasi, did not recognize the printed ticket for birth 9L. they sold the birth to somebody else and said go and complain to Redbus.in. We dont care.

                Finally he agreed to give a seat at some last corner.

                Issue is, I paid whatever amount quoted to booked the seat and that finally was not given to my brother.

                I am very much annoyed and Never NEver book any ticket with Rebbus.

                Also since it was my brother, I am a little ok. had it been my father/mother, I would have sue you gues and would have taken you guys on the streets of the Pune.

                I called Redbus helpline, Huns office. Nobody helped. They accepted the fact that ticket and seat is for Rahul however nobody had guts to handle the situation and help me.

                I can simply say that I was cheated by Redbus and Huns. I can only share my story with my friends and show my frustration.

                Redbus can’t do anything, even the redbus team also a culprit for customer dissatisfaction. Let me explain my first encounter with redbus.in. I booked a ticket online for 25 Dec 09 on 24 Dec from one of travels at Red bus (Hyderabad to Bangalore). On 25th Dec Morning I got a call from Red bus stating that we can’t arrange a ticket(First mistake) in that travel so we are shifting you to Sahara Travels and you have to pay 100 Rs more(Second mistake). I told them it’s ok. They told me they will be sending the update ticket at my mail id. But When I checked my mail, I found two mail from red bus, one is stating that your ticket has been cancelled as per your request, and other is having a cash coupon for my money.(third Mistake) So I tried calling them but no response. Again I tried to book online or redbus using that cash coupon, but it showed me invalid coupon. After that I tried for half an hour to connect red bus Hyderabad number but no luck.
                My visit was important, so I had to go to local travel and then book my ticket for evening. On Tuesday 29th December, when I came back to Hyderabad, I sent a mail complaining about the above on [protected]@.redbus.in.

                And you will surprise what happen next: The redbus team sent me a ticket for 25th December on 29th December, I was laughing. The Redbus team must be full of stupid and immature guys, I still not able to get any response after sending three mails.
                Its not matter of 750Rs I spent on Ticket, and they are not giving me back, its matter of rational puzzle I had to face because of their stupid service.

                  I had booked a ticket online through redbus from Hdyerabad to Mumbai Volvo AC in Konduskar travels. The bus was scheduled for 9:15 PM but I received a sms that it has been rescheduled to 10:15 PM. When I called the number provided on the ticket, they were not aware of change of timings and asked to board the bus at 9 from Kondapur in Hyd. After talking to another person we reached there at 9:45 but there was no bus. We kept calling and each time they gave us a different number to call and asked to wait 15-20 min and said bus is coming.We kept waiting till 10:45 when they asked us to reach Miyapur as the bus would not come to the previous pickup point mentioned.
                  We reached Miyapur and again waited and finally the bus came at 12:15. The bus which came was not Konduskar and neither Volvo. When we asked he said to board another bus of PUN travels which said there is no seat for us.
                  We kept running between the 2 buses and neither was ready to provide a seat. Finally when the PUn bus left, the first bus said to board it and it will help get a seat in another bus to mumbai as ti was going till Pune. The bus reached mumbai next day 2:30 PM when it was scheduled to reach at 10 AM.
                  Redbus is cheating customers by listing small unprofessional travel agents and fooling people after taking the money. They simply cancel their buses when not fully booked and try to adjust seats in any bus without informing the customer.Redbus should be sued and all rights to book tickets should be banned.

                    Hi,
                    I have requested a ticket through redbus on Tuesday 18 August 2009, for travelling from trivandrum to Bangalore on Sunday, 23 August. The redbus executive called me and informed that ticket is available with Sofia lines Multiaxle A/C volvo bus for that date. I confirmed and the delivery boy delivered the ticket and charged Rs.975(Rs 950 ticket charge and Rs 25 delivery charges). Then On the day of travel, just 2 hours before travel i just called the travels for confirming the time and seat. Then I recieved the shocking news that the travels dont have any tieup with redbus and the seat number mentioned in the ticket is already allocated for somebody. It was just 2 hours before the travel and i have to reach bangalore the very next day. So i called redbus and told the issues. they called me back after some time and told that there was some miscommunication happened between redbus and the operator. So i need to purchase the tickets once again and redbus will refund the old ticket amount.
                    So i have no option other than to call the travels one by one and finally got 1 seat in the last row. for purchasing this i spent another Rs 60 for auto since there is not much time left for the travel to commence and the booking office is far away. After that when i reached bangalore and called redbus and told about this. then after some frequent calling i got a mail saying that the ticket amount Rs 950 is deposited in my a/c and the cheque number is given.
                    I then asked for the delivery charges of Rs.25 and they were not replying. then i called again and again and finally they told that they will deposit that also.
                    I spend almost Rs.200 for getting this back. But interesting thing is the cheque they are telling that they have deposited is not at all credited to my a/c even after 3 days(Until this time).
                    Also imagine if i didnt get that ticket then the loss will be vey high. Its very bad to cheat the customer by giving a false ticket and taking his money. when i enquired with some travels i came to know that this is avery frequent thing redbus is always doing. Redbus will give 1 seat to 4 people and somebody has to cancel the trip. there are incidents in which ladies are forced to get down from the bus in the middle of nigh at some unknown placest.
                    Please tell me how can we do some action against this fraud.

                    I booked the ticket in universal travels in 5 june 16 using redbus.in .bus departure time is 22.30.but I was waiting more than 3 hours bus was not coming and they didn't given any intimation.

                      I had booked a ticket for travelling to Udaipur on 18-8-09 by Parshwanath Travels' 7 AM A/c 1+2 seater bus through this website. However, to my surprise, they changed the bus to Non-A/c without any information and intimation. When I asked them on phone, I was told that the difference in fare would be refunded in Shahibaug Office. However, after taking the non A/c bus at paldi pick up point when I reached the Shahibaug office, I was first told that my ticket is for non a/c only and hence no refund is permissible. When I insisted that it is for an A/c bus I was rudely asked where is it mentioned on the ticket? When I showed it to them, one of them told me that the Non A/c fare is Rs. 200 and hence I am entitled to a refund of only Rs. 20/-. When I mentioned that the non A/c fare on redbus site was lower than 200/- I was told it is not possible. I asked them to check up on the site but they insisted that as per their knowledge it is 200/- and if it is lower on redbus site - I may contact redbus. I tried red bus numbers also but their office was closed at 7.00 and hence there was no contact. Harassed in this shameless manner, I asked them to cancell my ticket - or at least write on it that the bus type was changed so that I can take up the matter with redbus. However, the staff on duty flatly refused to do even that. Infuriated, I told them that I will take them to task at all possible forums and that I did not want to travel by their bus. After a long ruckus they finally refunded to me Rs. 220/-. Because of this harrowing experience - I had to take a rickshaw to St bus stand and travelled in a Rajasthan roadways bus - causing extra expenses and delay. This rude behaviour and cheating by bus operator as well as this site will lead to lowering their goodwill and standing. I would say - NEVER USE REDBUS AND NEVER TRAVEL BY PARSHWANATH TRAVELS.

                        I had booked my tickets yesterday (11th august 2009) with www.redbus.in on telephone call. The customer care representative of redbus sold me a ticket from Bangalore to Vijayawada dated 14th August 2009. Through out my conversation I was assured a window ticket in the middle of the bus and also my ticket says L11, which is supposed to be in the middle of the bus and also a window seat as confirmed thrice by the customer care gal.

                        It is a very wrost one. Redbus is not reponse any complaints.i am not understand how it is grow a large operator.
                        I booked my ticket from delhi to jammu. they charged me 950 for Seat. And when the bus just boarded from Rama Krishna Metro station. One of conductor told me to change my seat. ON booking time i had booked seat no 32 and in bus they told me to shift to last seat. and when i refused to change my seat they used abused language with me and shouted on me and warned me that if i didn't change my seat then they will throw my bag and get me out. I just want to ask them .. that they are charging too much money from customer nd after taking money they are providng services..I personally recomeded to all that don't use red buses... Go for train or some other bus service..but don't use red buses please... otherwise you will also suffer.

                          Dear Sir,

                          Kindly note that I have done the booking online for my trip and made the payments as per the rates shown on the website of the company through my credit card, after repetitive follow up I got a call from Pune office of Red bus saying that I need to pay Rs.100 extra per ticket as there rates have got revised (although the same was not updated on their website ) else the tickets will not be confirmed and the refund of the same will be done through cash coupons which can be adjusted only against thier tickets in future .

                          Request your help as I feel cheated and have faced lot of inconvenience as my money got blocked and lost my precious time as well wherein the case is still hanging in air.

                            I booked my bus tickets on www.redbus.in to travel from Pune to Indore in AC VOLVO SLEEPER and confirmed my seats as 13 and 14 at HANS TRAVELS AC VOLVO SLEEPER for traveling on April 14th, 2009. I also received a confirm ticket from www.redbus.in.

                            The Redbus ticket showed my bus to be AC VOLVO SLEEPER and Seat Number to be 13 and 14. The timing stated on the ticket was 1900Hrs. They charged me Rs.2400 (Ticket Fare) + Rs.25 (Delivery Charges). First of all, they failed to deliver at my hostel address and hence I got the ticket delivered at my friend's place.

                            On 14th, when I reached Hans Travels, Jehangir, Pune, I learned that the bus the were putting me on was a normal AC sleeper (not Volvo) which was scheduled to depart at 1900Hrs. I refused to travel in that bus as I had paid for the VOLVO bus (Rs.2400), and the fare of this bus was only Rs.1600 (Two tickets). When I came down from the bus, they refused to provide me the seats 13th and 14th on the Volvo bus, as they had booked it for other passengers. The Schedule departure of the Volvo bus was 2000Hrs (and hence Redbus provided me wrong information). This could also be considered on the basis that Redbus ticket itself says that the scheduled departure may delayed from what is printed on ticket.

                            Now, Hans Travels refused to put me on seat no. 13 and 14 in AC Volvo Sleeper, and instead put me on seat number 31 and 32. The interesting fact that I learned inside the bus was that there is actually no seat 32 in Hans Travels AC VOLVO BUS (MP41-P156). They actually fool customers by selling two tickets on a berth that is only approx. 6 inches wider, and has no seating at all (Actually single berth technically).

                            The people on berth 13 and 14 certainly refused to exchange that berth with me, considering it was only for one person and secondly it was the last berth. After fighting for about an hour, they promised me two separate berths, but later, one of them was again given away to other passenger. I insisted on two berths on the basis that I booked at least four days earlier and paid the price for it, but they were continuously trying to convince me to take the berth no. 31 (+32) instead. They also moved the bus and took it out of the city while I had no seat confirmed on the bus. I managed some place on the bus to sit and my partner sat on the floor till Nagar, where they put us back on the bus which we had already refused to take (considering, the journey was important and we had no alternative, we had to take it).

                            To conceal the evidences, the agent at Hans Travel earlier took my Redbus ticket away and gave me a hand written ticket which nowhere mentioned my booking on AC VOLVO SLEEPER.

                            I tried contacting at Redbus and complaint about all this but even after nagging with at least five customer service executive, they failed to provide me any solution. Even after booking, at least four days prior to travel and paying the price for confirmed seat, they couldn't confirm my seat. Hans Travels also didn't consider and tried to cheat me first by putting me on wrong bus and second by trying to put on a berth which doesn't even exist (and selling my confirmed berth to someone else)



                            CONSEQUENCES
                            I paid Rs.2400 for traveling in a bus where I should pay Rs.1600 (and that too without bargaining, which is quite common on these buses. I returned on a bus of same standard {other operator} for Rs.700, again without bargaining.

                            I could not take my confirmed seat on AC VOLVO BUS and had to travel sitting till Nagar from Pune, while my fellow traveler was sitting on the floor. I have a phobia of traveling in bus and that's why we insisted on a seat together. I was quite disturbed mentally and even started quivering, as I was not keeping well. The whole journey turned out to be a bad experience, including defiling comments from the bus staff.

                            I would also like to mention that this is a regular practice at Hans Travels that they put two people in one berth i.e. 31 on their AC VOLVO SLEEPER MP41P156. Usually people don't complain, but those who refuse to take those berths are happily put on other bus (Rs.800/berth) without any refund.

                            www.redbus.in also cheats people by showing confirmation on ticket and failing to provide the seats on bus on journey day. There are many such posts on internet, which I read now.

                            RedBus Service — Issuing a ticket for travel which does not exist

                            I booked a ticket from Red Bus from Pune to Akola in Rana Tours and Travels of Rs.400.Pick Point was given as P & S Travels Chinchwad.But when I reached there and enquired about the bus,they said that Rana Tours and Travels does not exist anymore.Also I tried calling Help Line number of Red Bus ,but they kept me on hold for a long time and didn't replied
                            Hans Travel runs one bus that starts from Graficon Arcade, Jahangir hospital, Pune for Indore at 5:30 PM. At the time of booking the ticket for this bus, we were told that the bus has toilet facility. So on their assurance that the bus had toilet facility, we booked the ticket in that bus as we were to travel with our father who is diabetic. After boarding the bus we found that the door of toilet was locked. Bus started but the door was not unlocked. We asked the conductor to open the door but he denied and said that there was no water so door could not be opened. If such was the case, they should't have promised it while booking the ticket. Behavior of bus operaters while highly unprofessional and rude and uncooperative.

                              My father was scheduled to reach Bangalore from Hyderabad on 13th April 2009, for which I being at home on Sunday thought Redbus would be convenient option to block ticket. Next moment I connected my laptop to Internet and typed redbus.in in my browser. Selected a bus operator, choose a seat, the next screen is about details of passenger and payment, payment type selection. In which I had to fill in Card Holder Name Number etc, then comes the scary page on my browser [Security is not taken care of, very vulnerable to attack]. Which says the page is not secure to go forward, had taken me to some weird page before I landed on Axis bank. I made the transaction on Master Card Secure page which takes care of security issues.

                              From there I landed back on Redbus Payment Gateway [With redbus as a watermark] which never worked. I shut that page after 4hours long waiting time. I lost my money from my Card too.

                              I had to call their customer service some 40 times to know my status.

                              I hope Redbus techie management is listening to customers like us to improve their service.

                              I leave people who read this to choose from going to Redbus / alternative.

                                I had such a bad experience by booking through red bus to ABT X Travels. For two passengers they booked the same seats. They asked me and my Mom to get down from the bus.We were begging them like a begger only.But they didnt allow us to go in the same bus. They told that RedBus is a cheating Agent. So we wont agree your red bus tickets. Your Money is not there with us. I[censored] dont get down from bus we wont start the bus. Finally they told that we will arrange seats in other buses. But they were not able to arrange. I dont have any other way to go. I cancelled my trip. I fought with ABT X Travels nearly for 2 hrs and got the money back. I never forget this incident in my life. Hereafter i never book though redbus in my life. Even I will tell all my company people not to book in this redbus. Is that the right way to do the bussiness? Are they conscious about such a small daily routine. Because of a single person mistake my whole family got affected. Do they know the value & Time of each persons?

                                I had a worst experience in my life buy travelling in such a worst bus.

                                I travelled from Mangalore to Bangalore on[protected] seat number 19, 20 and while booking on RED BUS the travels was showing as Vishal holidays but it was Subramanya travels. the seats which we got the push back was not working when i complained this to the operator (Ashok travels) Mangalore they told that nothing can be done and we need to adjust, is this the way you treat the customers? how can you expect someone to pay 550 rupees per seat and travel without push back? the worst part was that the passenger in front when he does a push back we both were suffering a lot and we couldn't stretch our legs. This is my worst experience in my 26 years I want a full compensation on my ticket fee because this type of service is called looting people i want a call back from red bus and let me know when will be getting a compensation about my money because red bus has cheated me telling its Vishal holidays and gave a bus which I haven’t heard about do the needful ASAP if not I will make sure that none of my colleagues, relatives, friends will never ever opt for red bus anymore

                                  I have booked a single ticket on 13th Aug 2008 to travel from Hyderabad to Mumbai of Rs.1007/- on 18th Aug 2008, but my card statement shows debit for two tickets

                                    I have booked a ticket in redbus.in and made a Cancellation request 30 HRS before travel. help line people said that the ticket is cancelled and i will get refund mail.Till now i didn't get any refund.I am keep on calling HELP line of redbus and sending mails to their support but NO RESPONSE.It seems that they dont know the meaning of SUPPORT AND HELPLINE.They wrongly named as Helpline when they are not doing any sort of HELP..can anyone teach them English..BEWARE CUSTOMERS..

                                    Redbus.in — Very Very Poor Service

                                    One of the Worst and Poorest service is Red bus.in, their tie-up with Sangita Travels is even poor. No Proper response from the travels. My mom travelled from chennai to coimbatore on June-12-09. Unfortunately the bus got breakdown at Vellore around 12 night, but from 12 till 4:30 AM in morning there were no response from the drivers and travels people no alternative was arranged we were made to sleep in road. Also there was no alternate arrangement made by the travels. Very Very Worst Service. I am planning to publish throughout media about redbus.in and their service. This has resulted ina great heart-pain for my old mother who is helpless in getting alternate bus to reach coimbatore. I am planning to go to consumer court and sue Redbus.in and Sangita travels.

                                    I have booked ticket from Chennai to Bangalore through redbus.in by paying Rs 700. It is booked much before. They called me and saying that we are cancelling your ticket because there is technical problem in the bus. Immediately they asked that if you want to travel, you need to book ticket by paying Rs 1250 for same kind of bus. This is ridiculous. They have done this because of festive season. How come they say the reason that there is technical problem when there are 3 days.

The travelling date was 02-January-2010. The ticket showed the boarding point was Jeyam Travels, Shopping Complex bus stand, Madurai and the departure time was 8.30 pm.

                                    The ticket price per head is Rs.770

                                    We reported Jeyam Travels on 7.45 pm itself. They told my booking is not available and they are not responsible for the tickets booked via sangitatravels website.

                                    They allowed people who booked using Redbus website. The fare in redbus site is Rs.850. But there is no 8.30 pm bus.

                                    Around 20 people like me reported there for 8.30 pm bus. But they are not responding.

                                    They concentrated on people who booked for their chennai bus. They told after all the the Chennai buses departed, 3 Bangalore buses will come.

                                    Once all the chennai buses are departed, finally only one Bangalore bus came at 10.30 pm. They asked us to sit in the driver cabin and started to threatening the passengers who opposed this. They also tried to beat a couple who argued against jeyam travels.

                                    We have no other way. some guys have interview, some needs to go to work.
                                    So we spend a sleepless night at the drivers cabin until reaching Bangalore.

                                    I want the authorities to take actions on these travel companies.

                                    I also ask the people, beware while booking bus tickets on sangita travels website and don't book manual tickets in Jeyam travels.

                                    They don't have proper business plan and their only moto is to make money.
                                    So please be aware on these two travel companies

                                    Even iam facing this same situations frequently while travelling through these private transport/travels.
                                    Hence I strongly urge the Government to intervene and set some basic or ground rules for all these private transport & travels.

                                    I booked tickets in Rs 1500/-.

                                    I cancelled them even prior then one week. As per their cancellation policy only 5% should have been deducted but I got a cash coupon of Rs 1350/-. And when I asked for refund Rs 900/- was being credited back.

                                    I don't understand what calculations they are following

                                    We travelled by universal transporton 13/5/2012 ticket booked through Redbus. Atrosiouly poor maintianed bus.dirty seats and births. Irresponsible propritor and staff. Our bus we travelled was unfit to run on the road. I am surprise how they got permit anw how the transport authority given clarance to run the bus. By the grace olf the god and our fate we all reached chennai. The bus would have been toppled at sirkazhi by pass bride. The baloon blowened and they were trying to tie up the ballon with rope and moving. We were stranded n a high way there was no light . many elderly people, childrens and may are on the way to go to the airport.
                                    These type of buses should be banned to move on the road. I am also a heart patient .
                                    will some one should seriously take up the matter with the govet. Otherwise onroad disaster will be a routine one.

                                    Redbus online ticketing has started new business tricks to earn money by cheating the people.

                                    Please donot book the tickets when you donot know about the travels.

                                    To share my experience, Yesterday i.e 31st Mar 2013, because of my urgency I booked a ticket from Vijayawada to Bangalore from one travels using redbus website which I have never seen on site. Please follow the steps carefully the cheating process
                                    - After booking at unknown(not popular) travels, my amount got deducted but ticket is not booked displaying a message 'due to some website issues ticket is not booked. we will credit the amount back to bank account'
                                    - When I called redbus help line, they processed from there and alloted their choice of seat.
                                    - After reaching the travels address as sent to me on mobile/email, there are no travels with that name. If we asked about the same, the said addressed people won't even look at you/ reply you.(need to search for a place for wait on the road.
                                    - at time, bus will arrive but with some other travels name.(no tv, full dust and teared seats, no blankets, no water bottles where they have charged double)
                                    - Finally reached bangalore with a lesson.

                                    Management was very poor

                                    On 11th june i travelled through ridul holidays. the conductor and driver were very ill mannered. the ac was not working not even the tv. when we complaint about this to the conductor he said ac is not working i[censored] have problem call the mechanic
                                    I was on a trip to Assam and planned to travel by road. Thus, ended up booking deluxe buses from Red Bus. The bus details are follows:
                                    1. 25th January 2017:
                                    Guwahati to Kaziranga : TIN TK2T4499238, PNR: 6YVEQPE, Trishul Transport Service. Bought two tickets for Rs. 624.
                                    Two hours prior to the journey, I received a bus cancellation message. Operator said that passenger has cancelled the tickets (while we did not). Red bus said that bus is not plying - due to mechanical problems bus has been cancelled. But the operator called in sometime and informed that come to the bus counter, buy hard tickets and bus is going. We paid him 800 for two tickets (same bus same seats)

                                    2. Kaziranga to Guwahati : TIN TK2U55572428
                                    PNR N6EXBUY, Anurag Travels. Bought two tickets for Rs. 624.

                                    Two hours prior to the journey, got a notification of bus cancellation.
                                    Operator informed- that buses do not ply on 26th January in Assam.
                                    Even when the bus operator knew that bus does not operate, the bookings were accepted for that date. For a person travelling from Delhi to Assam might not be aware of the Road transport situation in Assam.
                                    There was no other transport which was made available to us and we had a flight back to Delhi next morning. We were stuck at Kaziranga without any help from any corner.

                                    Customer care executives did not ever made us reach/speak with seniors at Red bus but just said "Sorry for the inconvenience." I made sure to read Red bus's T&C and was well aware that bus cancellation events are not Red Bus's responsibility but there is no coordination between Red bus and their operators. You people enjoy harassing customers in the name of ''Terms and Conditions."

                                    COMPLETELY FAKE SERVICES BY RED BUS. BOTH THE ABOVE BUSES HAD GIVEN WRONG CANCELLATION INFORMATION. NO TRANSPORT WAS MADE AVAILABLE on 26th JANUARY. There was no mechanical breakdown of bus. BUS OPERATOR CONFESSED. BUT The buses do not operate on 26th JAN. Why was our booking accepted?

                                    THE REFUND FOR BOTH THE BOOKINGS HAVE ALSO NOT BEEN RECEIVED.

                                      Hello,

                                      I had booked an online ticket from Mumbai to Pune (boarding point Vashi)on the 5th of Dec 08 (travel date) - Tkt No. T90Q62704770.

                                      Departure time (according to the Tkt was 6.30 PM). I waited for the Bus from 6.10 PM till 8 PM but the bus was nowhere in sight.

                                      I started calling the Red bus executives at 6.40 PM on the their customer service cell at[protected],[protected]no. mentioned on the tkt) but to my surprise the numbers are invalid. Finally, at 6.45PM I tried the Hyderabad customer service number and spoke to an executive who told me that he would revert in 5 minutes. When, I did not hear from him till 7.05 PM, I called him again and was told the bus is cancelled. He gave me Raj National Travels (bus vendor's)number and asked me to get in touch with them directly for alternate arrangements.

                                      Though I felt it was Red Bus's responsibility to call Raj National Travel, the Red Bus executive refused to help. I finally called Raj National Travels who did not know anything anout the bus being cancelled. According to them the bus had started from Borivilli but they had no idea where the bus would have reached at that time.
                                      Being a lady, my idea of booking the ticket online was not to wait for long at the bus stand and reach Pune well in time (not late at night).
                                      At 8 PM when I could not see any bus approaching, I was forced to take a cab/taxi to Pune since all Volvos/ Buses were fully booked (since it was Friday Evening).
                                      Red Bus's terms & conditions claim that they are not responsible for any cancellations, however they should have helped me get an alternate bus. Also, they misinformed me about the cancellation since the Bus was very much operational (as per Raj National Travels)
                                      On 8th Dec 08, I passed on this same feedback to Redbus online and have not heard from them since then.
                                      I feel I deserve an apology from Red Bus for their poor service and also refund & reimbursement for my travel from Mumbai to Pune on the 5th of Dec 08.

                                      I had a similar experience. I had cancelled my ticket numbered T[protected] in time.
                                      But since then they have not mailed me the refund amount coupon.
                                      This customer support people are not responding to the mails as well. (bangalore office)
                                      I think the higher officials of red bus should act in time to avoid this kind of mis behavior to the customers.

                                      Beware of red bus ...!!!

                                        Due the cancellation of Sahara travels bus from Hyderabad to Bangalore 9.45pm on 24th Oct. 2008, redbus.in booked my ticked in Omer Travels. This is the worst bus (KA 20 A 4907) I ever have seen. This Omer travels is one of the worst, hopeless services in India I can say. No passenger travelled in this trip due to the failure of the bus. This travel people are not bothered about the timings and passenger. They have given different departure timings to different passengers from 8.30 to 10pm. But the bus did not arrived in time. They have arranged a bus which was under repair in Garage. At 11pm they have taken all the passenger in two condemned vehicles to the garage and asked us to board the bus. Some of the passengers surprised to see the bus was leaking oil and water and asked for refund. But that person told that bus is ready for journey. He asked everyone to board the bus at 11pm. One more thing I have to mention is the ticket numbers you have given are like x8 etc. but the there is no such number in the bus. The oemr travels bus person allotted the seats to passengers according to his wish. He collected all the tickets from the passengers and remained off the bus. At 11pm after everyone is boarded the bus this fellow bus fellow is filling the diesel. He has taken nearly half an hour and started at 11.30pm. Every passenger was watching patiently. After going 2 kilometer the bus started emiting smoke and the smoke came inside the bus also. Unable to sit we all the passengers stopped the vehicle and asked for the refund. They again started repairing the bus. The passengers lost the faith in the bus and came to decision it is very dangerous to travel in such a badly maintened bus. Finally the police came. After 2pm they did some repair and asked all the passengers to board. But none of the passengers wanted to board this bad bus. Police convinced some 10 passengers including me to board the bus as it is repaired. Again it started at 3.30pm and after 5 minutes the coolent water leaked again. Then only the driver came to know that the bus can not go to Bangalore. At last I rushed to Airport and caught a flight to bangalore at 8.40am.

                                        After reaching Home Bangalore at 1.30pm I wrote to redbus.in on 25.10.2008 and requested to refund the amount and in future not to transfer the passengers to Omer Travels and de-list any such travels. They simply replied saying they will look into the matter. They have asked to give the signature from driver of the bus. Bus itslef has not gone to Bangalore on that day due to repair. I have sent them my air ticket etc as proof that I have not travelled in their bus. Till today 26 Nov. 2008 they have not sent any reply. And also these online sites put in their terms and conditions that they are not responsible for difficulties we face with the Bus staff.
                                        Please let me know how do to take this matter to consumer forum. Please let me know the procedure.

                                        I booked a ticket using redbus. After making the payment through netbanking, till now, i didnot get any booking confirmation printout that i can carry as proof of my booking. So, when or where will i get that and how should i go without any proof that i booked a ticket ?

                                        I have a bad experience with REDBUS.
                                        I had canceled my ticket numbered T[protected].
                                        But they have not mailed me the balance amount coupon.
                                        The customer support for red bus from bangalore office did not respond properly regarding this.
                                        Any one please let me know how move this problem to a consumer forum or court.

                                        I booked the bus ticket from hyderabad to pune in "omer travels", they given sheduled departure time at 8:30 PM seat no 31 and they told me as push back seat. But the bus started at 11:30 the y picked up the 8:30, 9:30 and 10 :30 passengers in same time . and actully the bus capacity was 28 but they given 34 seats, in last row they made a seat it is like bench . they given to six pepole . when they are asking the managent they are not responded pepole . From Hyderabad the bus was started at 11 :30 and they are pick up the passengers from in between the way . this was very un conditional behaviour by driver and managemnet and they are not properly responds to passengers and one of passenger he travelled earlier also he faced the same thing .I am not sure whether it is management problem or drivers and agents problem . before starting the bus they will stop at wakad in pune but they dropped me at pune railway station at around 12:30 PM after getiing down bus i suffered with back pain and i could nt able to go office, . the bus no was i am not sure AP16 7672 but AP16 and starts with 7 ... . jotrney date 3- Nov-2009
