I have booked ticket for[protected] from Delhi To Lucknow for my Sister who is travelling alone. The Ticket was book by name of Shalini Singh and ticket number was TE6S64562883. The Bus Operator name was Kalpana Travel. On receiving ticket they sent her into wrong bus. That Bus was going to Dehradun. She reach to Dehradun and she need to return back.

What I need to do in that case?

    This is a complaint on Redbus for the pathetic travels that they choose.This is not the 1st time,i booked through Redbus,its actually because of the service and the quality of the transportation that makes me go back to Redbus time and again.however this time its very disappointing to tell they indeed have a pathetic quality checks.
    I booked a ticket on may11th 2012 night from Chennai to bangalore.The next day,i had some very important work and hence i booked a late night bus so that i could attend to my work on 12th may 2012.The bus was from jeyam travels and was scheduled to leave koyambedu(chennai) at 11:30pm and recah Bangalore by 5:30 Am on 12th May 2012.Well,to say the least I am still surprised that i was able to reach bangalore with my pregnant wife who is in her 1st trimester.
    These are the things that i want to bring to your notice.

    1.On the ticket,they say that the travellers should call the numbers on the ticket for the boarding point queries,however whom should we contact if that number is not recahable ? or Switched off ?
    2.The immediate thought is to call Redbus in this scenario.When i did,they were so busy and I wasnt able to get through to an executive at all.After calling 3-4 times,i had to give up hopes of talking to a human on the other side.
    3.Finally i come to the Koyambedu station(chennai) to board the bus.Mind you,its at night and am with my wife.there is an indian oil petrol bunk there and they have all the buses come there,fill the fuel and then travel to their respective destinations.
    4.i reached the venue around 11:00PM on 11th may 2012 and called the Travels number printed on the ticket to confirm that the bus is ready and the destination is near the petrol bunk.On calling,again there was no response,the response was either Switched off or Not reachable.
    5.Well,i found that there is an office of jeyam travels in the basement of a building and the travellers for 10:00PM bus are still waiting there.Finally,i spoke to a person called Pughal there and he informed that one of the buses if broken down and hence the delay,however the buss that am supposed to board is already at the petrol bunk.
    6.When we went to the petrol bunk,there was a dingy,stinky bus from SRM travels waiting for us which was full and there was no space to even climb.Mind you this is a bus from SRM travels and not from Jeyam travels.The seats were so pathetic and there was a stinky smell as if the bus was not cleaned since years.
    7.Anyways,when i was about to climb to check,the so called "Cleaner" of the bus came up and said that there cannot be anymore people accomodated on this bus and that there will be another bus coming to pick us.
    8.So,we were sent back to the travels office and he called up the person saying that there is no space and we should be put in the next bus.he told that the next bus will be coming around 12 midnight.And since it was already 11:30PM,there was not much i could do but wait.
    9.Finally we were made to sit in the travels office assuring that we will be boarding the next bus to Bangalore whichever comes from jeyam travels.Finally the Bus arrived at 12:15 AM on 12th may 2012 and we were told to get on as this was the last bus to bangalore.
    10.We had booked seats 1 and 2 owing to the fact that my wife is pregnant,however that seat was already occupied by a couple of hooligans disguised as humans and after some heated arguments,they offered us a seat on Seats 32 and 33 During which i informed the driver that my wife is pregnant and cannot sit on the seats offered and moreover,we had booked seats 1 and 2 and why should we leave that seats for someone else.After a long time and much arguments between me,driver and those 2 hooligans,they were told to sit in their seats and we were given the seats that we booked.By now the time was 1:10AM on 12th May 2012.
    11.A look at the place to sit and you would never want to go back to booking buses from RedBus.
    Anyways,after everything was done,we were leaving to Bangalore at 2:00AM on 12th May 2012.By this time there were none of the buses at this station.The drive did make up for the lost time by driving the bus like a Sukhoi Fighter plane.We were displaced around 5 times from our seats and i almost broke my nose when he hit the brakes once.is this the Way a responsible driver should driv the bus containing around 40 people ?
    We did reach the border of Chenani and bangalore AKA Hosur at around 7AM well before the expected time courtesy the driver driving the bus like a maniac.After reaching hosur and just before the toll gate to cross the border,the bus suddenly stops and then the driver asks everyone to get down.Everyone puzzled about this sudden change of things,we,a couple of them asked the driver whats going on and why did he ask all o[censored]s to get off the bus.the reason was there was a puncture of one of the tyres.We waited patiently for the tyres to be changed however neither the driver nor the cleaner were doing anything to fix the issue.When we confronted again,the cleaner informed that the bus does not have a permit to cross the toll gate and they stopped as they were expecting another bus on the same route to come and pick us up.Mind you,its not confirmed yet,they were expecting that another bus would come to pick us up.After having an argument with them for some time,the driver called the travels and i dont know what transpired between them,finally we were told that there is another travels nearby and the jeyam travels has contacted this travels on the border and he will be sending a bus to pick us up and drop us at respective locations.Finally the bus arrived at 7:45AM and we were all picked up and we were then again asked to alight at madiwala bus stop.When asked,why,we were told that the travels had informed the driver of this bus to drop everyone at Madiwala only and he cannot go further.After having another few minutes of argument,we were told by the travels to alight and go to our destinations ourselves.
    Almost at the start of every argument,i have tried to call Redbus to complain and they werent reachable at all.Even after coming back,i have tried to call them on monday to make sure they know the problems,however there has been no response.
    After saying all this,i really want to have a refund of the money that we paid as i believe this was definitely not why i chose redbus over KSRTC and TNSRTC

      I DHEERAJ SHARMA. I BOOKED TWO TICKETS ON DATED 28-04-12 FROM DELHI TO KATRA BY MY HDFC BANK CREDIT CARD THRUGH IVR CUSTOMER CARE NO. OF RED BUS.IN[protected] AND MY TICKET AMOUNT IS -1400. BUT WHEN I BOOK MY TICKET FIRST TIME ..RED BUS PEOPLE SAYS THAT PAYMENT IS NOT CONFIRMEND SO I AGAIN BOOK MY TICKET THRUGH ONLINE ON RED BUS.IN COMPANY SITE .....AND TICKET WAS CONFIRMED BUT WHEN I GOT MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT ..STATMENT SHOWS THAT PAYMENT TRANSFER TWO TIME - (1400 X 2 = 2800) TO REDBUS .IN BANGLORE ...AND NOW I M ASKING TO COMAPNY FOR REFUND MY AMOUNT THEY ARE DENIYING TO REFUND MY AMOUNT .

      SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT TO GET MY MONEY BACK -1400 ..THEY PEOPLE NOT GIVING ME ANY RESPONSE RELATED TO THS PROBLEM . I HOPE YOU PEOPLE WILL HELP ME OUT .

        As I booked the ticket through redbus web portal to travel from Bangalore to Tirupati with the vandana travels as mentioned in the web site.
        Later I got the call from unknown number told that the bus has been changed, you need to board on the same boarding point address @11:15PM on the journey date. I went to the boarding point address @ 11 PM, the bus didn't arrived and waited up to 12:30PM. Even I contacted to the vandana travels phone numbers which mentioned on the bus ticket(sent through the mail) but the person lifted and said that this is vandana tours and travels not vandana travels, contact to the red bus (he used unparliamentary dialogues). Also I contacted to the customer care of red bus on the journey date but the voice came that the customer care will not works after 11PM. I called to the next day and the customer care people not responded properly.
        Till now, the red bus asking me different kind of questions and saying that we need confirmation of the deducted amount from your credit card in the JPG format.

          Red bus charged me 800 rs for an AC bus from PUNE to SHEGAON and gave me ticket of DOLPHIN travels service whereas they sent another bus named TUSHAR Travels when asked about dolphin they said dolphin is not a bus its a name of travel company. They also did not responded clearly to my calls.
          Even on any boarding points I didnt found any board of any travel company named DOLPHIN.

            With plans of returning home for Ugadhi, i had booked bus tickets for bangalore to chennai on Feb 28, 2012 for the journey on mar 22, 2012 through redbus.in . The operator - roadlink India quoted a price of 400Rs for a volvo bus ticket since it was a weekday.

            On mar 22, 2012 I was all set and started my journey from home to board the bus at madiwala scheduled for 11PM, on my way i received a msg(from redbus) in my mobile saying my ticket has been cancelled. Since i was half way to reach the operator i continued my journey towards the boarding point and i had met the concerned person, the person Mahesh representing roadlink india cooked up a story saying his problem and had cancelled the tickets 2 weeks prior. he highlighted that redbus did not intimate me though he had cancelled the booking 2 weeks prior.

            The roadlink india representative justified his stand and showed me his ticket booking list for mar 22 2012 where i find that my same seat No was given to some other person, who had booked through redbus.in and the booking was done on mar 15 2012 for Rs650.

            Frustrated with this incident of not returning home for Ugadhi as planned. i spoke to redbus.in call centre people who put me on hold for more than 15min and clarified that my ticket was cancelled because the scheduled bus had a mechanical problem and hence cancelled but in reality the bus is as scheduled and im in front of it .. !

            THE TRUTH :
            After repeated attempts of clarification with redbus.in team, i was able to talk to the GM of redbus.in. I was very confident on him from what he had spoken but he did not even answer my call nor did he return a reply msg after 2days.

            What had happened - Since i had booked the ticket for Rs400 weekday fare, the Ugadhi weekend rush had pushed the ticket fare to Rs650 & so the operator had cancelled my ticket.

            Redbus.in did not accept to cancel the ticket, even though they (operator) MIGHT have intimated about cancellation to redbus and so did not inform me..
            As operator refused the scheduled bus, redbus.in had to inform me of ticket cancelled due to mechanical problems.

            As a consumer i was fooled by what has happened, as i had planned for Ugadhi a month prior and had to see the blame game of the ticketing agent and the operator.
            If i had got the intimation at least few days in advance, i would have made some alternate arrangements for travel.

            I would blame redbus.in for what has been casued and the unethical & unprofessional way of disclosing the information to the consumer and although they have the advanced infrastructure did not have a proper customer grivience cell and for the sheer ignorance

            I request necessary action be taken against both the operator Roadlink India and the travel agent Redbus.in .....

              Hi,
              I am genuinely a well wisher of your company and have been able to use your service a couple of times.
              It is very good in all the aspects but am sorry to say, The refund process is not up to the mark. In spite of several reminders and phone calls, the support team approach is unprofessional. I had a very bad experience. Have still not got my refund. You guys need to check and work seriously on this segment. Even the government department refunds do not take so much of time.
              All I have got from your support team is unacceptable excuses. Honestly the support team is only supporting your company and not customers. This experience have left a bitter taste and I would definitely not want to travel again through you.

                  I had tried booking a ticket on 18/02/2012 for 26/02/2012 through Redbus.in using ICICI Net Banking. The amount is debited and the ticket wasnt booked. Immediately on 18/02/2012 I had registered 2 complaints through thier toll free number and I was told that they would take 5 days to refund.

                  Today 23/02/2012 when I call the customer care about the refund, they deny any complaint made and said they dont have any proof over it. So i had sent a screen shot today.

                  Now they say they didnt register a complaint as they had no proof and said I can go to consumer court and complaint against them.

                  I need refund of my money and action taken against redbus.in

                    I have sent below mail along with Pics of Buses to RedBus.com Support team on "[protected]@redbus.in" email id which i got from website.
                    My Ticket ID is TE2Z93886978

                    Dear Madam / Sir,

                    Please find the attached my ticket details and other pics of BUS and note below points regarding bus and Travel Company.

                    1. As per my ticket the eagle Travel bus should be Volvo bus but my journey was in prototype Volvo bus (refer pic 20120130_225025).
                    2. No comfort like Volvo bus.
                    3. Seats were full of dust and trash and it was not cleaned by bus staff and reply was “This is the bus if you want to travel than travel.”
                    4. Rude staff and not at all cooperative (every time answer is “This is the bus if you want to travel than travel.”).
                    5. Window curtains were damaged. (refer pic 20120130_224022, 20120130_224042, 20120130_224102)
                    6. Bus was late by 1.5 hr in Baroda.
                    7. AC was not working properly.
                    8. No head clearance between upper seat and bus roof so not able to seat just sleep and sleep.
                    9. Overall journey was terrible.

                    I would like to request Redbus team to refund all my money (2400 Rs) as it was totally cheat from Redbus Team and Travel Company.

                    Now after this mail they are refunding only 400rs (as they are saying it is their policy) and I have Paid 2400rs for volvo bus but as pics and above mail bus was not volvo and it affected overall my whole day and journey was between dust and uncomfertable.
                    I have paid for Volvo bus and was not got any proper services.

                    Kinldy pleasse do the needful and help me to get my money back from RedBus.com and take the steps to stop the sheating other pepole from RedBus.com website.

                    That suggestion about claim after journey was given by your costumer care person.
                    This is not expected form RedBus Company as you are renowned company.
                    So if you want to refund than refund full payment because bus was not as per what you claim on your website and every other problem informed you otherwise I don’t want 400rs.
                    Now I am going to file a case against the RedBus for not providing claimed services and providing worst services and also not coordination with consumers and not refunding my whole money on consumer court, as bus was below the standards.
                    I still have screenshot and other proofs of your claim of Volvo bus for Mumbai Baroda Bus service and other bus photographs.

                      I had booked two tickets for a 1 day tour to Agra from Delh for 10th dec 2011 and delhi sight seeing on 11th Dec 2011 through red busin. Booking was done on 9th dec morning . Spoken atleast 15-20 times with Hussain from your ahmedabad office.Hussian mobile no is [protected]. The tickets were confirmed (also got an sms for the same) and the tickets were delivered at the karol baug hotel (where we resided) from your karol baug office. Tickets were booked for the AC bus. Total amount paid was Rs[protected] for Agra tour, 500 for Delhi tour and 50/- delivery charges)

                      We reached the pick up destination (RK Metro station) at 6.45 a.m (pick up timing was 7 a.m). Our booking was with Metro travels. We had the driver’s no, called him 10-12 times and every time he said, he will reach in 5-10 mins. Finally at 8.30 a.m when the bus (metro travels, bus no 0762) was at the signal, the driver called up and said that he won’t pick us up as his bus is full and gave us some other driver’s no for bus no 1843. We spoke to the other driver named Balluram, ticket collector named sachin. When they arrived at the destination, he told us that redbus has not done any booking for us, have not informed them and it was also a non AC bus (ticket fare was Rs 300 and we had paid 575/- per head ie 1150 in total). He obliged us by taking us to Agra as there were seats in his bus and said that red bus will refund us the difference in rates.

                      After that we have spoken 3-4 times with the red bus office and the executive there has agreed to refund the difference in fare (apprx 600/- rupees).We also made the driver speak to the red bus executive.Our bus no was 1843( you can check that this bus is anon AC).

                      Finally the evert from Red bus was that they cannot help.

                      Request you all not to book your tickets and rely on red bus.in.

                        We have booked Ashoka travels from Hyd to GOa and Return through Redbus. The bus service was very worst. It took 22 hours to reach Goa from Hyd (where as it was mentioned that it will reach in 14 hours), because the driver who was appointed, actual does not know the route.
                        And while returning, the same bus broke down at night 10 PM in the ghat road because the driver has chosen a wrong route.

                        The owner of the Ashoka Travels has not taken any initiative to provide us the alternative. Due to this, we had to stay in the ghat area for almost 15 hrs. After that we chose our own way to reach Hyderabad.

                        It is suggested to Redbus, Please do not take services of such irresponsible and reckless Bus travels.

                        Redbus — booked the ticket for 11-jan-13 but it booked for 1-jan-13

                            NON REFUND OF INCOMPLETE TRANSCTION OF BUS TICKET
                            Withe reference to thee above i wish to bring thee following:

                            1. We have trying to booked ticket from Pune to Bangalore for travelling on 6the January 2012 but by mistake I am working in 5the January 2012 .So my transaction has been failed . After theat I am requesting red bus to refund my money but theey are saying my CE has booked your ticket , We are unable to refund thee money. we I have received thee SMS for 5the Journey date Suddenly informed red bus for cancellation but theey had not cancel ticket nor refund my money i.e. 2000/-

                            This type of service red bus are giving . here found theat red bus representative had book wrong date ticket but theey are not excepting theis point.

                            The travel agency people should be punished for theeir wrong doing as most of thee cases theings will not be brought to thee concerned because of one or otheer reasons.

                            I need a reasonable explanation along withe thee refund.

                                Dear Sir/ Madam

                                I had booked my tickets from Bangalore to Changanacherry (for 24th Dec) through RedBus with the following Reference Id: - TDD[protected]. The total amount was Rs 7750 for 5 tickets. The tickets were booked under my name (Ankur Khaitan). The bus operator was Yathra Travels.

                                This ticket was cancelled on Dec 20th (4 days prior to the actual date of travel). This ticket was cancelled online. The message displayed on the website was " Your ticket has been cancelled successfully). The page also displayed the refund amount which was in accordance with the policy. The refundable amount was Rs 6975. The website quoted that the amount will be credited within 5 working days.

                                On the day of travel also the operator confirmed with me that the tickets are cancelled (I had received a call from the bus operator on 24th Dec @ 8:45 PM)

                                On verification with the customer care the next day (25th Dec) firstly the customer care executive claimed that the ticket is still active and I am required to call after cancelling it online. (This is nowhere displayed on their website). I was also asked to contact the operator directly for the refund.

                                After a lot of discussions, the call centre executive finally agreed upon the fact that I should be contacting the customer care of RedBus for the refund.

                                I had booked 5 tickets from Bangalore to Kumily for the same set of people on 19th Dec. Post booking this only the tickets (Reference Id: - TDD[protected] were cancelled. The booking reference for that ticket is RedBus # TDDE25528876. This ticket was also cancelled and a third ticket was booked for 25th Dec. It was booked by Kunal Malhotra (He was one of the co passengers on all the three tickets). The refund for the second cancelled ticket (TDDE[protected] have been received. The actual date of travel was 25th Dec 2011. This logically indicates that I had cancelled the tickets for 24th Dec as it doesn't make sense for anyone to hold 2 confirmed tickets in parallel.

                                I have written thrice since 25th Dec to the customer care. Every time they are replying back saying the tickets are still active and hence no refund will be processed.

                                On exploring my cached memory for the webpage it directs me to the previous page automatically.

                                It's been close to 10 working days and I have not received my refund yet.

                                Request to you please refund my money asap.

                                Looking forward for your cooperation and quick response.

                                  on 11th of december my father was travelling from mumbai to ahmedabad. i had booked the ticket from "redbus" website.
                                  as per my ticket, it was a Patel Travels, Volvo 2 X 2, AC bus.

                                  actually when the bus arrived it was not of Patel travels first.
                                  it was not a Volvo and a ordinary with the worst suspension.
                                  it was not AC bus, but it was a non AC bus.
                                  Also last but not the least it was not a 2 X 2 bus, there were sleeping seats also provided.
                                  and the fair so collected from me was as mentioned above for all the luxuries.

                                  while replying to me redbus had just apologize for the inconvenience caused to me.

                                  i hereby request all to please check all the details thouroughly before booking tickets through such websites.

                                  Red Bus — fraud

                                  hello, we booked 14 red bus tickets from www.volvobusticketsindia.com... some guy came to our office to deliver the tickets.. we paid him almost 25000/- in cash. It was a return fare from Delhi-katra and katra-delhi. on the date of journey i.e 21st of may at 4pm someone called from heera travels that bus is being cancelled due to some reason. he said bus will depart at 11pm instead of 6:30pm given time.. we talked to this guy several times just to tell him that we want bus to depart at a proper time...and asked him to cancel the tickets and return money otherwise. so he agreed that he will arrange the bus at 7:30 pm from chandralok building at janpath lane, Delhi. we all gathered thr near bharat petroleum, janpath lane..at 6:45pm... we could see that there were many families waiting for the bus. bus didnt arrive at 7:30pm and we all started calling this guy but he dint receive our calls.. someone named Mr. Mishra was the head of this travel agency and as and when he received our call, he said he will provide the bus by 9:30.. again time went by and no-one came until 11:30 so finally we called up police and 2 policemen came .. nothing happened .. they simply started asking questions to bhanu who somehow came , god knows from where. all o[censored]s still kept waitng till 1:30am in the night but no bus came to pick us all.... this heera travels or red bus has duped us for 25000/- and wasted our hell lot of time... we still have the FIR copy.. let us know if something can be done.. I know even police will not help us cuz this guy must have paid him something... bribed him I must say... our delhi police has once again proved that we must not rely on them..... address of heera travels is 2, gole market , near CP, delhi... we got this information from internet...so our complaint is against heera travels and red bus both....we have the tickets with us...Nitii Seth
                                  This is quite ironic that service providers like redbus are doing daylight fraud and there is no one to monitor and stop them.
                                  I happen to be in mumbai on the 27th March and was leaving for Goa the same day. And I was planning to come back from goa on the 30th March, hence I went online on Redbus to book the bus tickets for 4 persons. I selected the date as 30th March and tickets got booked but the confirmation message came as tickets booked for the 27th March. I got shocked and phonned the redbus customer service immediately but here come the even more shocking answer from them. Those stupid sevice executive were not ready to understand anything and bluntaly said we can't do anything and your money has gone for a toss. Then I asked for the manager and it took me 4 hrs to get the hold of a manager and finally i managed to get 50% of my money back and I must say that these people are a wonderful fraud .

                                    I have reserve a ticket through the www.redbus.in from Ahmednagar to Mumbai on 12 Dec 2011 instead of 11 Dec 2011.
                                    The transaction was done via Credit Card and after cancellation of ticket they have not given me my cash back instead they have given the cash coupon which is valid for 6 months, means i have to travel by bus only and have to use www.redbus.in to book the ticket.

                                    Request you to take the appropriate action against such travel agencies.

                                      My name is Inder and I have booked Ticket TDCE69625992 for travelling date 20th November 2011 (attached is receipt) From Mumbai to Bangalore.

                                      As per booking it suppose to be AC Sleeper from Mumbai to Bangalore By Raj Travels for which I paid. But services not been provided as per Information on Redbus website.

                                      When I reported boarding point I was surprised that there was a different Bus (MetroLink Bus # MH 11 T 9364 )for travelling and that to only till Pune. After discussing with Bus Staff came to know that they will transfer by this Bus to Pune and you will get your Bus of Raj Travels from Pune till Bangalore. I was completely Disappointed. Story doesn’t end here. After reaching Pune this Bus has dropped us somewhere in Pune (No Idea about location) and we have been asked to get into a Tempo Traveler which again will transfer us to Raj Travels office at Padmavati in Pune. This Tempo Traveler was again Non-AC and pathetic behavior of staff when we have enquired they said they do not have any connection with Metrolink buses. After roaming almost 15 to 20 KM in Pune city this Tempo traveler has dropped us on Raj Travels office in Pune.

                                      My experience was not Good at all with the RedBus as Redbus misleading and misguiding travelers. They have given wrong information on their website there is Single Bus from Mumbai to Bangalore, which is not true. Though this is happening Everyday (Came to know by other passengers). From Pune I have called Customer care of Redbus and Spoken to Mr Kishore.

                                      Even Customer care executive Mr. Kishore was not able to provide me any satisfactory answer. I am expecting call back from a responsible person in Redbus else I will move it to Consumer Court. Thanks. Even asking for Ticket number for this conversation he was not able to provide it.

                                        I will never use redbus, neither suggest any friends or relatives, one of the worst service I ever seen in my life. The bus quality is too bad, even bad word is not applicable here, the behavior of the bus owner and its staff are embracing. They took AC fair for a non-AC bus. We won’t able to see any sight seen properly. I will complain against red-bus in Indian consumer forum,

                                        The following problems I faced while visiting.

                                        1. Home delivery service is too bad, and for that reason I have to cancel manually and then book it using net banking.
                                        2. The call center staff of Redbus don’t know each n every thing what they provide.
                                        3. They repeatedly telling lies.
                                        4. JRS Travels, its my kind request that just remove that vendor from your list.
                                        5. Timing of pick too bad and also place, they picked and left Delhi at 7.30 AM instead of 6AM.
                                        6. Behavior of staff and owner is very embarrassing.
                                        7. AC is not running properly and time to time they stop it without informing the passenger.

                                        I agree with the complaints, as I am one of the victim.I and my wife booked ticket from Manali to New Delhi, my ticket no TDD[protected] PNR no.HGANNJP268 dtd.11-12-11 through Himgiri Adventure Tour. I am sorry to inform you that he provided the ISUZU bus instead of volvo. More the driver of the bus did not run the AC through out the night and nor he provided the blankets. On requesting his behaviour was very roude. A person spent the money for his convenince. I request that such type of vender should be removed from your list and difference of payment may please be refunded.
