Dear Sir/ Madam

I had booked my tickets from Bangalore to Changanacherry (for 24th Dec) through RedBus with the following Reference Id: - TDD[protected]. The total amount was Rs 7750 for 5 tickets. The tickets were booked under my name (Ankur Khaitan). The bus operator was Yathra Travels.

This ticket was cancelled on Dec 20th (4 days prior to the actual date of travel). This ticket was cancelled online. The message displayed on the website was " Your ticket has been cancelled successfully). The page also displayed the refund amount which was in accordance with the policy. The refundable amount was Rs 6975. The website quoted that the amount will be credited within 5 working days.

On the day of travel also the operator confirmed with me that the tickets are cancelled (I had received a call from the bus operator on 24th Dec @ 8:45 PM)

On verification with the customer care the next day (25th Dec) firstly the customer care executive claimed that the ticket is still active and I am required to call after cancelling it online. (This is nowhere displayed on their website). I was also asked to contact the operator directly for the refund.

After a lot of discussions, the call centre executive finally agreed upon the fact that I should be contacting the customer care of RedBus for the refund.

I had booked 5 tickets from Bangalore to Kumily for the same set of people on 19th Dec. Post booking this only the tickets (Reference Id: - TDD[protected] were cancelled. The booking reference for that ticket is RedBus # TDDE25528876. This ticket was also cancelled and a third ticket was booked for 25th Dec. It was booked by Kunal Malhotra (He was one of the co passengers on all the three tickets). The refund for the second cancelled ticket (TDDE[protected] have been received. The actual date of travel was 25th Dec 2011. This logically indicates that I had cancelled the tickets for 24th Dec as it doesn't make sense for anyone to hold 2 confirmed tickets in parallel.

I have written thrice since 25th Dec to the customer care. Every time they are replying back saying the tickets are still active and hence no refund will be processed.

On exploring my cached memory for the webpage it directs me to the previous page automatically.

It's been close to 10 working days and I have not received my refund yet.

Request to you please refund my money asap.

Looking forward for your cooperation and quick response.

    on 11th of december my father was travelling from mumbai to ahmedabad. i had booked the ticket from "redbus" website.
    as per my ticket, it was a Patel Travels, Volvo 2 X 2, AC bus.

    actually when the bus arrived it was not of Patel travels first.
    it was not a Volvo and a ordinary with the worst suspension.
    it was not AC bus, but it was a non AC bus.
    Also last but not the least it was not a 2 X 2 bus, there were sleeping seats also provided.
    and the fair so collected from me was as mentioned above for all the luxuries.

    while replying to me redbus had just apologize for the inconvenience caused to me.

    i hereby request all to please check all the details thouroughly before booking tickets through such websites.

    Red Bus — fraud

    hello, we booked 14 red bus tickets from www.volvobusticketsindia.com... some guy came to our office to deliver the tickets.. we paid him almost 25000/- in cash. It was a return fare from Delhi-katra and katra-delhi. on the date of journey i.e 21st of may at 4pm someone called from heera travels that bus is being cancelled due to some reason. he said bus will depart at 11pm instead of 6:30pm given time.. we talked to this guy several times just to tell him that we want bus to depart at a proper time...and asked him to cancel the tickets and return money otherwise. so he agreed that he will arrange the bus at 7:30 pm from chandralok building at janpath lane, Delhi. we all gathered thr near bharat petroleum, janpath lane..at 6:45pm... we could see that there were many families waiting for the bus. bus didnt arrive at 7:30pm and we all started calling this guy but he dint receive our calls.. someone named Mr. Mishra was the head of this travel agency and as and when he received our call, he said he will provide the bus by 9:30.. again time went by and no-one came until 11:30 so finally we called up police and 2 policemen came .. nothing happened .. they simply started asking questions to bhanu who somehow came , god knows from where. all o[censored]s still kept waitng till 1:30am in the night but no bus came to pick us all.... this heera travels or red bus has duped us for 25000/- and wasted our hell lot of time... we still have the FIR copy.. let us know if something can be done.. I know even police will not help us cuz this guy must have paid him something... bribed him I must say... our delhi police has once again proved that we must not rely on them..... address of heera travels is 2, gole market , near CP, delhi... we got this information from internet...so our complaint is against heera travels and red bus both....we have the tickets with us...Nitii Seth
    This is quite ironic that service providers like redbus are doing daylight fraud and there is no one to monitor and stop them.
    I happen to be in mumbai on the 27th March and was leaving for Goa the same day. And I was planning to come back from goa on the 30th March, hence I went online on Redbus to book the bus tickets for 4 persons. I selected the date as 30th March and tickets got booked but the confirmation message came as tickets booked for the 27th March. I got shocked and phonned the redbus customer service immediately but here come the even more shocking answer from them. Those stupid sevice executive were not ready to understand anything and bluntaly said we can't do anything and your money has gone for a toss. Then I asked for the manager and it took me 4 hrs to get the hold of a manager and finally i managed to get 50% of my money back and I must say that these people are a wonderful fraud .

      Respected Sir/Madam,

      I have reserve a ticket through the www.redbus.in from Ahmednagar to Mumbai on 12 Dec 2011 instead of 11 Dec 2011.
      The transaction was done via Credit Card and after cancellation of ticket they have not given me my cash back instead they have given the cash coupon which is valid for 6 months, means i have to travel by bus only and have to use www.redbus.in to book the ticket.

      Request you to take the appropriate action against such travel agencies.

        Hi Redbus Team,

        My name is Inder and I have booked Ticket TDCE69625992 for travelling date 20th November 2011 (attached is receipt) From Mumbai to Bangalore.

        As per booking it suppose to be AC Sleeper from Mumbai to Bangalore By Raj Travels for which I paid. But services not been provided as per Information on Redbus website.

        When I reported boarding point I was surprised that there was a different Bus (MetroLink Bus # MH 11 T 9364 )for travelling and that to only till Pune. After discussing with Bus Staff came to know that they will transfer by this Bus to Pune and you will get your Bus of Raj Travels from Pune till Bangalore. I was completely Disappointed. Story doesn’t end here. After reaching Pune this Bus has dropped us somewhere in Pune (No Idea about location) and we have been asked to get into a Tempo Traveler which again will transfer us to Raj Travels office at Padmavati in Pune. This Tempo Traveler was again Non-AC and pathetic behavior of staff when we have enquired they said they do not have any connection with Metrolink buses. After roaming almost 15 to 20 KM in Pune city this Tempo traveler has dropped us on Raj Travels office in Pune.

        My experience was not Good at all with the RedBus as Redbus misleading and misguiding travelers. They have given wrong information on their website there is Single Bus from Mumbai to Bangalore, which is not true. Though this is happening Everyday (Came to know by other passengers). From Pune I have called Customer care of Redbus and Spoken to Mr Kishore.

        Even Customer care executive Mr. Kishore was not able to provide me any satisfactory answer. I am expecting call back from a responsible person in Redbus else I will move it to Consumer Court. Thanks. Even asking for Ticket number for this conversation he was not able to provide it.

          I will never use redbus, neither suggest any friends or relatives, one of the worst service I ever seen in my life. The bus quality is too bad, even bad word is not applicable here, the behavior of the bus owner and its staff are embracing. They took AC fair for a non-AC bus. We won’t able to see any sight seen properly. I will complain against red-bus in Indian consumer forum,

          The following problems I faced while visiting.

          1. Home delivery service is too bad, and for that reason I have to cancel manually and then book it using net banking.
          2. The call center staff of Redbus don’t know each n every thing what they provide.
          3. They repeatedly telling lies.
          4. JRS Travels, its my kind request that just remove that vendor from your list.
          5. Timing of pick too bad and also place, they picked and left Delhi at 7.30 AM instead of 6AM.
          6. Behavior of staff and owner is very embarrassing.
          7. AC is not running properly and time to time they stop it without informing the passenger.

          I agree with the complaints, as I am one of the victim.I and my wife booked ticket from Manali to New Delhi, my ticket no TDD[protected] PNR no.HGANNJP268 dtd.11-12-11 through Himgiri Adventure Tour. I am sorry to inform you that he provided the ISUZU bus instead of volvo. More the driver of the bus did not run the AC through out the night and nor he provided the blankets. On requesting his behaviour was very roude. A person spent the money for his convenince. I request that such type of vender should be removed from your list and difference of payment may please be refunded.

            I booked ticket for Haridwar to Delhi on Monday night 16th Oct 2011 11:00 PM through redbus.in

            JBG Tour & travel give me seat in a bus which looks like AC bus but after 15 mins of journey when i asked for the bus driver to switch on the AC then i got to know that bus is not AC so i called to JBG tours office number mentioned in ticket provided by redbus.

            Then they provide me another number to call and ask for refund. the person on other side is stating "That you have booked from website & i am a bus operator will not refund. Now i paid 499 rs for Non AC Bus while other passenger are travelling at 250 Rs coz. they manually booked the ticket.

            After coming back to delhi i called to redbus support for the refund. they arrange me a conference call with bus operator to discuss the issue and bus operator appologise for the same and request redbus to do the refund.

            But starge behaviour from redbus they refuse to pay me back any of the amount even i asked them to give me the audio details of the discussion happened on 19th October.

            Even any one need the discussion mail trail (More than 8-10 mail exchange) do ping me at vaib.[protected]@gmail.com i will definately share the same.

            But don't try redbus their support are more pathetic then the inconveinence i suffered while travelling.

            I wrote this complaint on site to share my feedback of redbus.

              I Rahul Gangal,have booked a ticket from red bus from Ahmedabad to Jaipur.
              It was of Seema Pooja Travels.
              The date of journey was 25th October,2011.
              The boarding point was Naroda , near S T workshop,Ahmedabad.
              Boarding time was 10.15pm.
              PNR number SPNKPY[protected].
              Ticket number TDB[protected].
              It was non ac sleeper bus,i have paid rs 700 for that ticket.
              I want you take it consideration that i was standing at the stop at 9.30pm.
              No bus came there of seema pooja non ac in which i booked ticket, and if came they didn't even bother to stop the bus and pick up the passenger.
              i waited till 12.30am there at naroda bus stop.
              i called someone in seema pooja travels,he told me that other bus coming behind you sit in that bus,i sit in that bus but there was no seat available in sleeper not even in sitting.
              The conductor in bus told me if you want to travel you have to travel like this no seat will be alloted.
              I came down from bus, and let that bus to go.
              I called Mr ashok,the owner of seema pooja travel,he told me,my money will be refunded,but still didn't get any response.
              Then i booked flight at 9.35 in morning to jaipur of rs 4950.

              Now who is responsible of all that?
              Who will pay for the ticket extra which i have paid for flight?
              Who is responsible for harassment which i faced on that day?
              Please do take some necessary action agaist them

              pooja and seema travels — Providing improper ticket

              Dear Sir,

              We have booked ticket in pooja and seema travels from Kota to Ahmedabad in Bus no. 6667 for sleeper.
              and they assurred us to reach ahmedabad by 9:00 A.M. next day. But they dropped us at Udaypur at 7:00 A.M. from there we took another bus in which even we could not get aseat to sit. As far as i think about bus for which ticket provide to us did not have permit for Gujrat. we had an examination sheduled at 9:00 A.M. but we reach there by 01:00 P.M..

                  I had booked a bus ticket @ www.redbus.in for Hyderabad to Nagpur journey by Omer Travels Volvo [tdax55525949] at INR 900/- I was supposed to travel in an omer travels volvo [Seat F3] but what was actually sent to the Bowenpally boarding point was a regular Non-ac bus for which fares through the www.redbus.in site itself are 450/-

                  The reason given was that the volvo I was supposed to travel in was held by police and was not released in time.I was offered 200/- as refund which I declined. Apparently rates of the non-ac bus had been hiked from 450/- to 700/- just for the journey. I called up omer travels representative and I was told that he could not do anything as he was out of office. Seeing no other option I boarded the bus. I was told @ boarding that the bus would reach Nagpur by 7 am at the most whereas the bus actually reached nagpur at 10.30 am.
                  I also happened to miss the engagement that was the purpose of the trip as I was late by 3 hours. This whole fiasco was reported to the customer care who then advised me to send a mail to support team. The customer support team did not reply and later I was offered a 100/- refund. Its just adding insult to the injury.The support staff does not believe in emails or so it seems, going by their unwillingness to hear me out or reply promptly. thanks you redbus and Omer travels, I am never using your services again and going to actively discourage anyone who wants to.

                    NEVER BOOK TICKETS IN OMER TRAVELS
                    I booked tickets from hyderabad to bangalore in omer travels through redbus on oct 10. their worst irresponsibilty starts from starting it self..instead of 8.30 pm theyt started at 10pm.in between tyre got puncttured 3 times..these beggers dont have steppiny for replacing.all 3 times they cleard the puncture on the same tyre...finally i reached bangalore on oct 11th 3.30pm..actually i went for an exam...which icouldn't write..my entire journey goes of no use....i want compensation for the same

                      Hi,

                      Really Mother of frauds is redbus.in/Dhanunjaya travels, I booked tickets on on 04/10/2011 from chennai to hyderabad. In which Dhanunjaya travels preponded the travel time and without any information about the prepondment. when i called customer care they asked me to take another travels for which i asked to pay 1500Rs. All these are to F---- our money through online.

                      Don't ever book tickets through online in redbus.in.

                      We traveld in Dhanunjaya travel one week back from Bangalore to Hyderabad and we forgot our shoes in the bus. We called the travels as soon as we realized our mistake. They said will look into the matter. After that we never heard from them. When we called them they simply informed us they didn't find anything. They are just liars and I don't recommend them to any of my friends. Be aware of them.
                      I was booked a ticket on red bus to journey from Bangalore to Ongole (tecket No: TE[protected]). But the bus has passed away without pick me. How to get the ticket refund...some body please help me.

                        Redbus.in is cheating customers, when i booked through online from orange travels site form hyderbad to chennai they deducted the amount from my credit card, and later no bus ticket got generated, when i contacted them they said will will not charge the amount from the card later i found the amount deducted from my card when i contact orange tours they said redbus is main, when i contacted redbus they sayign we do not know anything please adive how can get my money back

                        Refunding of my amount

                        I book ticket between farrukhabad to delhi on date 4 june 2016 my balance from debit card deduct but booking not confirm .also not any reply .please reply immediately or I complaint a fire against red bus.

                        Seat changed without any consent

                        I have booked redbus service to mandi from delhi on 15 june 2016. My seat number is 20 and the conductor of bus forced me to sit on 24 num, is this honoured ? As the seat num 20 remains vacant . Why they didnt give me my if i booked it online . This is a serious matter i would like to take redbus to civil matter, their services are ao poor .

                          i haven't received the amount for my unbooked ticket...i had sent numerous mails to these guys but they keep saying consult with ur bankers, unnecessarily harassing the customers....whenever i called them ,they keep me on hold for a long time...

                          redbus cancelled my ticket and took money without my knowledge
                          hi,

                          i booked a ticket to my native xterday through Redbus and my ticket was confirmed
                          nextday my ticket wan cancelled i dont know how it happened
                          when i contacted redbus they told they are not aware of this issue and they are not responding properly, i never share my personnel date with anyone, Redbus is so careless in security, may be in future credit card details may also be hacked and misused

                          I tried to book the bus ticket through Redbus. They took money from my account and not booked the ticket on 22rd July 2015. Till now they have not refunded the money for unbooked ticket.
                          Really redbus has very worst service.

                              I have booked a bus ticket from Chennai to Hyderabad the boarding place they have mention in the eticket is Chennai Central Railway Station and depature time is 19:45 suddenly at 18:45 we got a call because of traffice jam they said to come to koyambedu Private buses stand. Then i called the reb bus enquery the person who attend the call not given a proper answer and used very bad word and he said come to the red bus office if i want to anything. Plz guide as what I have to do next these could not happen.

                                I am elango palani, i booked 4 tickect(Each ticket Rs.800) for my family members from vellore to hyderabad on 21 st august 2011 by my fathers statebank of india netbanking.
                                Rs.3200 was deducted but ticket not booked .I got message from redbus that
                                Your payment of Rs. 3200 has been deducted but a ticket could not be issued. Please do not worry.
                                This will be refunded within 7 days. For details check e-mail. Till date they didnt refund my amount and theere is no reply .

                                  But my problem is that still i have not received that refund amount in my bank account and in received cancellation mail you mention that i will return that amount within 7 days( For your reference i am forwarding your mail with this mail).

                                  Why are you not refunding my cancellation amount tell me that reason. and my request to you please refund my money for good customer relationship. please give me response as soon as possible.

                                    We have been tryin to cancel a ticket from Goa to chennai (travel date - Aug 17,2011) for the last two weeks. The secenario is -

                                    July 1
                                    When the booking was done Redbus made a mistake and booked it for July 17'th (9 tickets fare of 11950/) Cash was paid on delivery on july 4.
                                    We noticed later the journey date was july 17 instead of august 17 So we call them up and cancelled it and asked them to transfer the date to August 17.
                                    July 6
                                    They send us a ticket for aug 17th.(fare of 11,150) by email. They promise a cash copun of 800/-
                                    July 15'th
                                    We call red bus for the cash copoun of 800 in order to book tickets from bangalore to chennai. They give us a cash copun of 8365, we did not understand the reasons. We booked a ticket of 1000 Rs from it.
                                    July 18'th
                                    We ask them to cancel Aug 17 ticketAfter one week of dodging with us.they tell us a new story that the 8365 cash cupon is the cash cupon for the cancellation of July 17'th. If so why did they send us an email of the ticket for Aug17'th. When we call for the cancellation of Aug 17'th.They have used the cash cupon and booked the tickets for Aug 17'th .I really don't understand why.

                                    Even then all we ask is the cash to be returned after cancelling the tickets.(Aug 17).The cash we need to recieve is Rs6805 from Red bus. They have not been responding to us. Every time we call we have to explain the situation as a new caller attends the call every time. They do not have a dedicated resource allocated to a case.
                                    The response has been irresponsible and ineffecient.And this is my second bitter exprience with them. I would like to know what can be done to take legal action against them. Help would highly be appreciated. Thanks

                                        I booked a bus ticket for hyd-vizag through online with the RedBus In. It was booked for the 7th July, 2011. They booked it in the Reddy Travels. I had booked for the ac bus and they had charged me according to that ac bus which was Rs.650. It was scheduled for 5:20 PM . When I reached the said bus stop , I found no bus over there and I enquired from the travel agents. They said there was no bus for that specified date and time leaving from Hyd to vizag for that day. When I asked why did they do that booking even when they knew there wasnt any bus for that time, they blamed the Redbus . When we enquired from the Redbus , they just had a sorry and they said they will return our money after a week. I was fooled by this service badly. I dint know what to do that time.
                                        I request you to please take special care in booking your bus tickets from this service because you never know when you can get fooled in midst of a unknown place and crowd.
