Dear Sir,

I am trying to start GPRS on my phone (Nokia 3120 Classic) by since last 6 days (16/11/2009). I was being told by reliance customer care that it will get activated in 48 Hrs but it has not. Till today I have talked with 6 different Customer rpresentative but all invain.
Please suggest me what shall i do, Shall i quit Reliane Mobile Service and go for another company.

    Dear Madam/Sir,
    My father has been a subscriber of Reliance phone (No: [protected]; Address: 11, Chaudhary Layout, Ayapppa Temple Road, Near Anant Nagar, Nagpur-13) ever since the Dhirubhai Ambani Pioneer Offer started. He is 75 years old and stays alone with my mother who is a heart patient and a diabetic and is 70 years old.
    On 3rd Sept 2009 my father purchased a new handset and was asked to submit certain documents which he did on the same day at the WebWorld, Poonam Chambers, Chhindwara Road, Nagpur.
    Today morning (Saturday, 21 November) he found his phone non-functional and on enquiring was told that since the documents had been misplaced he would have to submit the documents again and till such time his service had been discontinued. The old man again went all the way to the WebWorld and once more submitted the documents to one Mr Ravinder. At the same time he was told that his phone would be made functional only after 48 hours.
    I would like to make the following points in this regards:
    1. Reliance Communications has acted in a totally unprofessional manner leading to severe deficiency in service on their part. Misplacing documents at the WebWorld is not the fault of the customer and hence there is no reason that the customer should be penalised and harassed in this manner.

    2. The fault of the WebWorld at Nagpur is further compounded by the fact that they made a 75-year-old man run so many times for submitting the documents. The least they could have done is fetch the documents from his home. This act on their part is highly insensitive and unpardonable.

    3. Further, before discontinuing the service Reliance Communications did not even bother to inform my father, which is again highly irresponsible and unprofessional.

    4. My parents are staying alone, are suffering from several illnesses and so a phone connection is their lifeline. How could their connection be discontinued for 2-3 days even when they were not at fault?

    5. Today I called up the number[protected] of the Area Manager Mr Tilak Chatterjee (provided by the WebWorld staff). On contacting this number I was told Mr Tilak was on leave, and one Ms Suma asked me to contact the nodal officer Ms Sudha[protected]. However, despite repeatedly trying to contact this number for the last five hours I have not been able to get through. How does a harassed customer get himself heard in such cases? A totally unprofessional attitude.

      Reliance Broadband — poor service on restoring the broadband connection

      The company installed the broadband on 18th March. The antenna blew off within one week due to heavy rain & wind in Bangalore on 31/03/08. I lodged the complaint on the same day. After 3 days company's representative came and fitted the Antenna. But broadbank connection is not restored till date. I again lodged a complaint on 6th April. complaint No: is 66642339. Despite several follow-up every day the response from the company and their representative is very poor. The connection is not restored till date.
      I had subscribed for the 75Kbps Unlimited Plan of RELIANCE BROADBAND in the month of jan 2008.It was a post paid plan, for which I used to receive bills of Rs.450 (inclusive of tax) on monthly basis.       Reliance Broadband Internet Services — Services not being restored on time

      Hi,

      Reliance Broadband Internet services charges me wrongly and does not provide the very service for which I am being charged wrongly and being forced to pay for. Again after the complaint was lodged , resolution for promised in 24 hours and in spite of following up every hour, resolution was not provided, causing me mental trauma and mental harassment and slippage of my personal work dead lines..

        I have reliance gsm connection. I have recharged with STD calling card of 650, the validity of which is 60 days. But i am unable to make std calls since last three days. The call is automatically failed. I made approx. 10 complaints to the company but they didn't pay attention to my problem and always tell me that the problem will be solved within two hours. Now three days have been passed but the problem is the same. They are denying to increase the validity for the problematic period. In my opinion they should increase the validity. The problem occurred due to their fault. So i should not bear the loss, but they should bear it. So please find out any solution. Thanks.

          I Purchased a dial up Internet connection from Reliance Communications 3 months back.The Promised speed was 156 Kbps but during the course of 3 months I have already got this speed.The task manager of my computer shows Network Utilization of 0% which is normally the case.

          During the off times like after 12 AM I also do not get at least 70% utilization which is a measure of connectivity speed.

          I WAS BUY THE RELINCE MODEM IN YOUR RELINCE WORLD IN AMBALA CANTT. IT IS A POSTPAID CONNECTION. AFTR SOME TIME I WENT TO OUT OF STATION AND YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT WORKING. I AM BACK AFTER THREE MONTHS., AND I COMPLAINT YOUR RELIANCE WORLD FOR THIS PROBLEM.BUT THEY DID NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSE ATLEAST ONE MONTH. MY MODEM NO IS [protected]. I HOPE THAT YOU WILL SOLVE MY PROBLEM, OTHERWISE I WILL HAVE TO GO CONSUMER COURT.

            Hi - though I don't have much idea about companies listed in Indian history yet on behalf of my experience so far, I can clearly say that Reliance GSM is the worst company ever listed in Indian market.

            1. After using VF connection for almost 7+ years (previously hutch), I made my plan to shift to Reliance 48 plan (STD, local all 50 p per min). It's been 5 days, my SIM is on some other person's name. I hate the dealer. They haven't changed it although I have given every damn proof while getting the SIM.

            2. Customer care is worst, it never gets connected.... huh.

            3. Customer care is very dull, very bad response you get, you just don't get feeling of being treated well. Nobody is listening there. They neither know English nor Hindi.

            4. Extreme problems in network connectivity - Sometimes other receiving party picks up my call and my phone says... all line to this route is busy... what is crap :(

            5. Sound connectivity - Ah! that's a pain, it's too bad. I can't imagine how they got the license. It's more surprisingly they are surviving. I heard that Indian government has found many fraud in their balance sheet. They have shown their fake profit.

            So everyone - my humble request is to never go to them unless you want to get harassed.

                I am one of the Smart prepaid user.

                On 12th Nov 2009 night I made a call with my mobile (#[protected], handset: Apple iPhone) and after call my balance was Rs ~253. On the next day, 13th Nov 2009 morning my balance was Rs 0.50. I tried to call [protected] but could not connect. I made emrgency recharge and called one of Reliance Smart Officer namely Mr. Siddiki (#[protected]), he redirected me to another officer namely Madam Mausami (#[protected]) and Mausami Madam finally redirected me to officer namely Mr Kumar ([protected]).

                Mr Kumar communicated same with Mumbai office and also let me to talk one of the female office from Mumbai branch. As per them I downloaded ringtones of Rs ~250 on 12th Nov 2009 night using Sony Ericsson mobile, which I never used.

                I personally meet My. Kumar and told that I am using this # since last 6 years, I neither used R-World (that option does not appears on iPhone) nor GPRS (which is already inactive). Mr. Kumar investigates my mobile for nearly 30 mins. Later Mr. Kumar and Mumbai Office agrees that it never happens that some one downloaded ringtones of Rs ~250 in one night but still unable to help me as their Server logs are showing this information.

                This process took almost a week and still my balance is not reversed. Today Mr. Kumar gave me Complain ID:[protected]. In past two more times my balance had been deducted for no reason but that was small amount of ~20-30 Rs, so I ignored it.

                Please some one let me know what else can be done in this regard.

                  I had got my number [protected] deaactivated on 08/08/2009 under case ID[protected].I had paid an outstanding amount of Rs 350 against the dues (Reciept Number S[protected].I was told that the number would be deactivated within a weeks time once the confirmation call is done on my alternate number.The same was done within next 2 days but I kept on recieving the bill for next month also.I contacted Reliance customer care and web world and I was told that the number has long been deactivated and there could be a system error due to which I have been recieveing bills.I was assured that my refund of Rs 250 would be processed within next one or two months and would be send to me at my mailing address.
                  I recieved a refund of amount Rs 23.28 against Rs 250.I assume that the amount dedeucted from my refund is against the false bill which reliance kept on getting generated even though I had deactivated the number.This act amounts to cheat and malafide practises by the organization.i have also highlighted my greviance to the nodal officer and am still waiting for his reply.

                    reliance agent firstly call me to offer postpaid connection with new per second plan, n i agree to take that connection after that he came to noida from delhi reliance (pitampura) branch and he takes RS700 for connection and address verification. my sim got activated after 15 hour and after 3 days it get barred n call to cstmr care to file the complaint but they didn't taken action till now.

                      I have a netconnect connection [protected]. After first bill (15 days after starting service) from reliance their USB device stopped working and customer care bluntly told me that it is a third party instrument so I need to get it repaired from their service center.
                      It took them about 2 week to get a replacement of device and another 2 days for reliance to activate the device. When I received my bill, I was charged for full month, Rs 1300/-. Agent, Subhas from reliance world, Nigdi Pune, from whom I had purchased it, assured me that I will be refunded for the amount device was in service center.
                      It has been 2 month after that and I have raised this complaint 4 times for settlement. Everytime the complaint is closed with simple explaination that charge is right. No communication is done to me whenever complaint is closed. I had to ask and listen that it is now closed and they cannot do anything about it.
                      Also this agent promised me a laptop bag and took Rs 500/- extra from me. That also has not been given till now when 5 months have passed after purchase. It is a totally fraudulent service by reliance netconnet and their customer care. They are simply cheating customers by taking exorbitant amount of money for a pathetic service.
                      My sincere request to everyone that stay away from reliance netconnect connection. It just sucks and not at all worth this price. You can simply get other connection of same performance from TATA and Idea in wireless range.

But in my no. i have already activated free sms pack on 30th jan'11. Now they are saying i have send sms in 5 digit govt. no.'s which charges are high but i can assure that in between 6th to 9th feb'11 i did'nt send any sms's in that type of number. I make them understand but they are not listening to my words they just cut my line.Sorry to say but now-a-days i am very much dissatisfied using reliance due to your "BAD SERVICE" and "DEDUCTION OF MONEY" without any usage.

                        so i want my full money back which now its remaining more around RS.89.30 only.I hope you will help me in this regard. I'll be highly obliged. Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

                        Service - VERY VERY POOR
                        No outgoing and incoming of calls.
                        Customercare people - May be hired from roadside, who dont know how to talk. They provide no information and ask to call later as SYSTEM is being upgraded. Huh..

                        When sms is sent to 1900 to port out from its service, it is not entertained. since last 5 days they are saying, please try later.

                          Yes, i am able to view my bill details now, thanks for this!!

                          A person named Mr. Laxman sold me this Broadband+ device from APM Infotech Pvt Ltd. B-42, Sector-59, Noida (U.P.)

                          He sold me this 10GB City plan for 800 Rs/- one month free & He also convinced me that my bill will be get generated according to 800 Rs/- plan.

                          However, now looking at the bill which is generated & according to it i can see it is generated for 1099 Rs/-. This is not what was promised to me earlier.



                          Moreover, i am not conviced by the speed of Internet, download & youtube buffer speed is not good.

                          Download speed i am getting around 20 KBPS to 70 KBPS & it was told to me that i will get a very high speed as it is a broadband+ for 3.1 MBPS.

                          Mr. Laxman told me that i will get the speed of 800 KBPS to 1000 KBPS at the cost of 3.1 MBPS.

                          Coming back to "you tube" buffer speed, it is again a shock to me. Even if i clicks any video to see it takes hell lot of time to buffer first.

                          Is this you calls a broadband of 3.1 MBPS & fastest network in the country?



                          Now, on the roaming side, the speed stands no where, it takes hours to open a site, and i gets lots of errors like:

                          1) Debugger terminated error,

                          2) PPP link error,

                          3) Remote computer error not responding error,

                          & many more i dont remeber them right now.


                          Lastly, please do not suggest me to download netbooster, to delete cookies & temeporary internet files. These all are crap things & do not have any relation to speed.

                          i have already done this many times & formatted my system no. of times.

                          Reliance Broadband+ — Too heavy Bill Amount without Any Usage

                          I'm using reliance broadband+ and in my second bill I've got too much amount of Rs. 3800.
                          According to my usage it should be Rs. 850.

                          My Plan was 3GB Day usage Between 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 10GB Night usage 10p.m to 6 a.m.

                          Most of my usage was in night hours from 10p.m to 6 a.m.

                          But according to bill if i start using broadband connection from 9:45 p.m. to 2 a.m., it will be considered in My Day usage which is limited up to 3GB.

                          When I bought this device they told me the above user plan But they did not clarify that bill will be prepared on the basis of starting time of my broadband usage. Means,

                          Day/night classification of a particular session will be done on basis of session start time i.e. If the session starts in Peak time/Day Usage (6 AM to 10 PM), it would be classified as a day session and if the session starts in Off-peak time/Night Usage (between 10 PM to 6 AM), it would be classified as night session.


                          But now when I'm complaining about such trouble they are saying that the above condition was mention in my papers when I bought this service.

                          The details on paper was in too detail and very complicated so didn't gone through it and just got all details from Reliance service provider. And they gave me all the details about plan excepting the above one.


                          So now I'm not able to decide what to do now.

                          So please tell me the necessary suggestions.

I had asked about this problem but ignored my problem & replied arrogantly & said thet it is look after of reliance company & not me..It should give speed of 3.1 mbps, but instead it gives speed upto only 230 kbps.

                          I have a Reliance 1x Data Card purchased 2 days back.Since last 2 days, I am totally frustrated with your pathetic network in Banswadi, Bangluru.Karnataka. During last 2 days, I have informed the network related problem to the data card service center they wil keep the phone on hold for more then 15 minutes... i m not gonna pay you 850 rs/ month for 10 kbs speed...Very Slow Speed and Worst Services.,,,i want my money back which i spent on that datacard...

                          Reliance Broadband+ — extra bill

                          i am the user of reliance broadband+. now the connection has been terminated as i have not paid the bill for two months i/e RS1549.since the connection has been terminated so i didn't cared about the bill. but after 3 months reliance has gave me a legal notice of taking necessary action if i wont clear the bill i.e RS2549. when i called reliance they said that as i have not asked them to terminate the connection they continue to generate the rent bill for three months. i am ready to pay the genune bill of RS1549. but i am not ready to pay the extra amount which i have not used. so i request you to help me out with this.

                          Reliance Broadband+ — Change of service done without clarity leading to huge bill

                          I HAVE BEEN CHARGED INCORRECTLY for December 2010. Then, my account was frozen. Then, rental fees have been charged on a frozen account for Jan, Feb, onwards.

                          Scores of Reliance employees have harassed me by phone, by e-mail and my post. They don't enter the interactions in a central database. Each person talks and throws away the information. The next person starts harassing from scratch. THERE IS NO PROCESS IN PLACE FOR SOLVING ISSUES. JUST BULLYING AND OVERBILLING.

                          I need a Consumer Protection third party to mediate this dispute. A neutral person is needed to listen to the customer's point of view. Reliance will not listen.
                          We need to listen to the recording of my call in which I requested a change of service.

                          It can be confirmed that:
                          I requested a change from City Coverage to Nationwide coverage.
                          I did not ask for my data plan to be halved.
                          The Reliance employee halved my data plan without tell me he was halving my data plan.

                          Due to this, I continued to use data per my 10G + 10G plan while they had changed it to 10G only. Hence a huge bill was generated. This is entrapment. I will not let Reliance steal my money.
                          Moreover, the third party should require Reliance to correct their procedures so that this does not happen to future customers.

                          Reliance Broadband+ — service and unwarranted charges

                          sir, this is to inform you that about 5 months before i took this HSD device of reliance. when i purchased the device i was told if i opt for a particular plan they will come to my place to collect the monthly bills.i am staying away from the main city. since begining nobody has ever come to collect the monthly bills. as the bill is not collected as per their wish and will they disconnect my connection. interesting fact is inspite of disconnection i get regular bills without any kind of service. when communicated to local authorities they promise this will not happen again and the issue happens every month. since almost 2 months they have disconnected my device and still are sending me bills showing false usage on my email. occassionally fillers are sent you pay a specific amount and everything will be taken care of. they are not even ready to terminate my connectionon some pretext or other. this is my last hope to resolve the issue oterwise i will be forced to take a legal route. consumer courts.for god sake dont spoil the name of dhirubhai ambani.

                            i am a reliance gsm customer with the sim no. [protected] from bengal,durgapur.i have been a regular user of the plan 496/- and later 497/- however of late since the reliance gsm industries have outdated such services i was forced to switch onto the 650/- std calling card facility. since i am an engineering student and do project works in groups for open source softwares i need to contact different people for help and discussions and owing to the situation more or less evryone in the group has a reliance gsm connection.however it is really sad to point out that the RELIANCE INDUSTRIES HAVE BECOME ADEPT WITH EVERY PASSING DAY ON HOW TO ROB WELL THEIR CUSTOMERS.as per the scheme i am supposed to avail free std calling to any reliance gsm no across india from 11 pm to 6 am but i am unable to connect any single call not before 3 am and still the connection is worst than ever with line problems and frequently getting disconnected. i had in person gone to durgapur reliance distribution center in fuljhore,durgapur twice to give the same complain one on 4th and another on 6th. i even lodged a complaint at 58200(siliguri customer care) but the person /operators are a vehement cheat telling you all the lies that your connection has been verified and that your complaint has been addressed so please try out tonight ! however till date fron 2nd november(the day i recharged) my problem has not been addressed. the 58200 no is always busy and many a times even lucikly when you manage to get a call the operators do not care to pick up and give you a hear.outraged by this DOUBLE PRACTISES IN RELIANCE COUPLED WITH THEIR FILTHY AND INEFFICIENT SERVICES I CAN WISH NOTHING BUT PURE ILLWILL TO THE RELIANCE BROTHERS AND THEIR INDUSTRY. I HOPE TO OBTAIN A JUSTICE ON THE MENTIONED ISSUE SINCE IT IS HIGHLY INCOMPATIBLE FOR ANY LIVING MACHINE ON EARTH TO GO AGAINST THE NATURES OF LAW AND KEEP AWAKE ALL NIGHT(NOCTURNAL) AFTER ALL THE DAYS WORK TO PLAY THE FOOL AND KEEP HEARING "THIS ROUTE IS BUSY PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER" AND SADLY THE LATER NEVER OCCURS.

                              I am a subscriber of Reliance SMART service about 3 yrs.I have received one message from the said network that one caller tune has been activated and deduct RS-30/- with out my knowledge. It is very same ful matter that a great company earn money from innocent public without their knowledge. I equest that please rfund my money as early as possible.Because my money is not black money. And then i have to decide that am i continuing this company or not in future.

                                I am Abhay Kumar Agrawal, residing in D-3, Madahav Nagar, Akota,Vadodara, lost my mobile with GSM Sim (No. [protected]) on 8th Nov morning in Delhi. Now when i returned to Vadodara, I've applied for a new blank sim card so as to start using my mobile. But for my utter Surprise, I couldn't found a blank Sim in any of the Reliance Outlet for the last 5 days i.e. from 11th to 16th of Nov.
                                I am very surprised to find out that RELIANCE has failed to provide a small sim to his customer who lost his mobile. This is a very bitter experience second time as I've it once more when my SIM got rejected in Sep '09 without any reason. Now I'll think many times before using any of the Reliance Services and advicing it to my friends.

                                    Respected Sir,

                                    I am a reliance smart gsm user. I received a message from gsm services, that CRBT is renewed and amount of Rs 30 is deducted from your balance and to unsubscribe sms unsub 1003 to 121 but i did not subscribed any caller back tune. The amount to Rs 30 was also deducted from my balance. This was not the first time, they did it this before also but now I want to have my money back. Please suggest me what can be done about it.

                                      i have some problem in my billing amount . my name is vijay verma and my reliance postpaid no is [protected] .i have taken the connection of reliance in 24 oct 2009 and i have alreday submitted the security deposity of 500 Rs. at this time i am in trouble beacuse of in my billing amount 250 Rs is added bydefault which is not used by me.so please see it which type of charges included in my billing amount

                                        I have been fed up from reliance net connect since the day i bought it from last 7-8 months

                                        earlier there was a issue regarding the bill which took 2 months to solved in which there was a fault bill generated by reliance and there after it took 2 months to waive the same and i could get my services on track.

                                        Again from 2nd oct i launched in a complain regarding poor coverage and they advised me that a engineer would be sent to my place which did not happen for 45 days and the engineer was send 2 days back who called and confirmed that there was a problem and they have changed it, in between i have almost been calling reliance customer care almost every week so that i could work but this is how they help there customer... More over i had been telling the customer care that since am unable to use the services i wont be paying my bill as i did not utilize the services and despite of that they have suspended my services on the non payment of bill and am actually unable to check if the connection is working fine now due to inactive service.

                                        Would request you to look into the same.

                                        I have almost most of my complain numbers and have even requested reliance to return my money so i could live my life in peace which even they did not do anything about.
