I lost my data card (reliance broadband netconnect - [protected]) ,last month 16th (October) 2009 and put a request on 18th and got updated as blocked through customer care by phone on 25th ( ref number :[protected].

But on November checking online status of reliance i saw some usage mentioned ,so i called again customer care about this. How connection can be used when its blocked. They mentioned some issue with system will be rectifying it soon and will update me.( ref no :[protected].

I didn't got any update from them. I called them twice , they said they will be sending me mail but no response.

On December I got a bill from reliance for Rs 2300. I was shocked to see it . How this much amount when a account is blocked and how they can send me a bill? I called them again they are not responding. Allays same message our backend team is looking into it. Now finally they are asking me to pay the amount 2300 to terminate the connection. How can this be? How a company like reliance can cheat customer like this?

I want to know how can i deal with this legally and i want to terminate the connection. I don't want to stick with such fraud connection and company. There service is such bad and fraud.

Reliance Netconnect broadband — FRAUD BILL

first, thanks to consumercomplaints.in team for running such a wonderful service to help the ones desperately in need.You guys are doing a fabulous job.

My complaint is that my reliance netconnect number [protected] 's january bill has been inflated by two times over. My usual fixed bill is Rs 950 whereas i have been served with a bill of Rs 1900 this month. Their view is that i have exceeded my usage by 1.7 GB. I am a well informed netizen and contact reliance customer care from time to time to know my remaining data usage and as soon as i know it's going tom be over, i restrict its usage.It's evident from my past bills. But this was the limit from their part, inflating the bill to twice it's value shows how desperate this company is to extract revenues , by hook or crook.

Hoping , your team will get my issue resolved.

    Dear Sir

    I m using ur Reliance net connect for 9 month. There is problem in USB drive from last two month whenever i tried to access internet has not responding. Even i made several complaints against this, but i feel ur dept. is not taken initiatively.
    Firstly my telephonic interactions have done with Chandrima on 25/10/09. At 1:25pm.she has registered my complaint & given[protected] ref.no.she assured me that I got a call from technical dept within 48 hours but still nothing happened.
    After 4 to 5 days i made a second call in ur dept.on 31/10/09 at12:50pm. & spoken with Vinita, she has refused to register my complaint again; she said ur query is in under process, but till the date i unable to use ur services. In the meanwhile, there came a collection person for the payment but technical person has not come to rectify my problem.
    I have no issue to make ur payment but i will not pay unless my problem is not solved.
    If it is not solve in this week I have no choice except CONSUMER FORAM.

    Sir, i just bought, just 1 Hr ago, "CDMA Modem MG880+" RSN number RZTCDC90033734, & i am getting 1.2kbps speed only, so i want u to pls solve it or pls return my money back. the mobile no. given with the modem is [protected].

    The Signal is very slow mostly.most of time so many problem faced out to connect the net.The speed is so low mostly.So I request to you please solve the problem as soon as possible.

      Hello sir/ Madam,

      I am Viral Shah and living in Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra. I would like to complain regarding my refund for broadband connection. Though my connection is cancelled, I still not received my 500 rs) I applied for Reliace broad band connection on 3/10/2009. I approached pune office (Nr. Swargate, Behind BSNL building). I met Mr. Kishor (Mob: +91 [protected]) and submitted all required documents(Copy of rent agreement, Photo, Copy of driving license and check of 500rs on name of RIL A/C RIC from my city bank account, Cheque No.98174) and Mr. Kishor told that in 4 days I will get connection. I appled for 649 rs plan. On 5/10/2009 I got a call from Mr. Nilesh (Mob: +91 [protected]) and he told that there is no Broadband port in my society so it is diffuct to get the connection. But the alternate way is, he prepared fake address proof and he told it is a normal procedure in reliance connection as in many buildings they don't have ports and students sometimes don't have any address proof and then he told that he will do everything and he just called me to give a credit card number that he is going to use for preparing address proof. So, that in case I will get a call for address verification then I have some reference. The credit card detail information is [protected] from HSBC bank and address is C-23/24, Bhosale garden / Bhosale Park, HAdapsar, Pune. (Bhosale garden / Bhosale Park are my adjacent societies and they have port in that society) Then I waited for a week but they didn't provided a connection at my home and as I was in urgent need to connection, I called Mr. Nilesh back on 12/10/2009 and he told that the same day I will get the connection. In the afternoon I got a call from a reliance service engineer that he went to Bhosale Park but there is no flat like the mentioned in address and then I told him that my actuall address is C/23, Prithvi Apts, Hadapsar, Pune and then he told me that they don't have any port in the society so it will take more 15 days to install the connection. Then I told him that better to cancel the installation as I don't want to wait for the connection due to my urgent need and he told OK. On 14 or 15 th October morning I received SMS from my bank that the Cheque No.98174 paid TO RCIL AC RIS,IDBI BANK LTD and amount is deducted. I
      informed this to Mr. Nilesh and he told that it has happenned by mistake and he will start the procedure for refund and I will get my money back in 7 days. From that day I am continuous in touch with Mr. Nilesh but he is not giving me any proper answer. Last monday (26/10/2009) he told that he started a procedure for refund but still this date I didn't get my refund. I suppose Mr. Nilesh submitted my cheque and gave connection to some other person.

      I also filed complaint on Reliace customer care on 3/11/2009 by email and I received reply from them that they will look into it but nothing happens till date.

      Kindly help me to get my refund back.

      Hi I am Prashant Phatke from Yerwada East Khirkee Pune 03. I have taken reliance broad band connection (with dish) but it hardly worked for me but they keep charging me their regular bill. Finally When I have requested them to disconnect it ...after almost 1month they have done it..but they have not refunded by initial deposit till now...

      I would like to request to new willing subscriber that please note that you are not going to get your deposit back.

      My user id is[protected] and it is terminated by my request at October 2014. I've paid R.s.2000 at the time of installation and my monthly plan was Rs.450. Almost Rs.1500 they are swallowed as a security deposit. After the service termination, there is no refund I got till yet(3 months from the termination). Also my bills are paid by advanced. I've been contacting the customer care by emails and phone calls from the last three months. But all are talking pointless or escaping from the queries.

        I m surprised when some of my relative told me abount the called tune .Now more surprised to know that it has been changed with any communicatiuon from me and to me,.Also every now and then they are charging me for needlesss services which i have never ever requested .I juust receive a message that my account balance has been debited for some service.
        also there seems to be no end to the messages and calls i receive from customer care .they disturb me every now and then. It seems we have kept these moblie for reliance and not for our convience .
        It seems we are paying and reliance is using our cell .

        Is some body listening.

          Respected sir,

          I have applied to reliance communication for a broadband connection on 4th November 2009 and they have taken all my details and 500 Rs cheque ( cheque no.140180) in favour of reliance to an executive come to my home Mr. Gazanand (mob. [protected]). The form no is [protected] as per the receipt he gave me . He promissed me that my connection will get connected within 7-10 days.But till 24 th Nov 2009 no broadband connection is yet connected to my home. so now after trying a lot when they didn't response me for my application for a new connection because of their lack of infrastructure like poles etc. i have taken internet connection from airtel.

          So sir please take some serious action against these person and this company.

          i am a preepaid conusmur. my mobil no is [protected] . i have already givin my complain by through rel. custmor care at *333 but i did not get responce.i want to close (find a friend pack) servise in my mobil. please disconnect this servise with my mobil . if in 24 hour this servise can not disconnect than i will gave up rel mobil servises.

            Its so damn irritating to see that such irresponsible behavior from the authorities. My complaint which logged followed with numerous mail is still unanswered.
            The customer service dept…nodal officers and all other authorities are taking a mockery at my case, which now due to 2 months.

            Now I am writing this mail to you confirming that I am withdrawing my connection this week, precisely on Saturday after 5 years of bad experience. And I would like to make a point that I will ensure I will raise my complaint in all the possible forum I know.

            Because such un professional efforts needs to be highlighted to all the users.

            With due respect, I am forced to bring before you an issue where I am subjected to undergo harassing experience through your call center.
            I don’t know whether you will actually take any measures to prevent this in future and I am least bothered about it bcoz as I have decided myself I will no more stay back with Reliance.
            I am a postpaid user for the last 4 years with an average bill amount of Rs 2000, and for me it a pretty huge amount. There are 100 of instances where I faced un apologetic pathetic service from various touch points. However when today I called your call center for an enquiry on where can I see my e-bills in your website. They have put me in hold for a good 60 Min. Don’t you think that too harsh to any customer. First 30 min with one agent and next 30 min with other agent.
            And at the end of day nobody answered my query.

            Don’t expect great service from reliance because you guys don’t believe in servicing. But a humble request is don’t harass people.My details is follows

                    I had a connection of Reliance mobile/data card no. [protected] in the name of Dipin Gupta S/o Sh. Rajeev K. Gupta, 29, Phase-3, Urban Estate, Patiala (Punjab). But to my surprise, I got a call from some of your offices a few days back that I have not cleared my dues which had already been paid in full & final vide receipt no.6125611 dated 26 April, 2008 for Rs.565/-.                         It seems it was not the end of trouble, when you finally chose to provide me internet 2 months after I applied for it !!
                        But that was a different connection than what i applied for....
                        I opted for 300kbps Combo plan....and they installed the 75kbps plan !!

                        Lets start from beginning.....
                        I was promised connection within 3 working days.
                        It took me a million phone calls and a lot of fals promises to get the connection.

                        You should listen to your agents talking when they come to take money....so sweet and promising.
                        And see them the very next day, they dont pick my phone unless i call from some unknown number, and then too what...false promises.
                        The agent was Nirav Mahajan from Baroda in my case.

                        I dont think i have so been harassed by any service provider as by Reliance Telecom.
                        My problems seem to increase day by day just because i chose Reliance.

                        The issue now is that I applied for Rs 649(300 kps) combo plan, but you have given me the 75 kbps plan.

                        Somebody told me that call the Reliance Care No. and tell them your problem.
                        I have told my problem to 4 different Customer Care Executives on 4 different days.
                        Everytime they assured me that it will get sorted out in 24 hours but it does not.

                        They told me that they could have updated my account info but MY DETAILS HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATED in the system.
                        I have been hearing this for 5 days now.

                        I searched the internet for people who had problems like me and
                        without any surprise i found many people having the same problem.

                        I am getting frustrated by these daily dose of reliance problems, and
                        seriously urge you rectify it. There is a whole bunch of people who
                        are like me...FRUSTRATED.

                        It would be so nice of you if you update my details on the system and
                        change my plan to 300kbps.

                          i would like to bring to your kind notice that i am a customer of reliance mobile with my cell no [protected] & this is a case of cheating that Rs 49 has been leid or deducting from my balance without my knowledge as i have a prepaid connection . now when i talked to customer care supervisor he is not listening that the service is not started with my consent . it is a case of cheating that in no case i can use this service package of local SMS 600 in quantity by paying Rs 49.one can check my history that i havent SMS even 10 SMS per year than why should i take the scheme of 600 SMS. also time to time they have been forcefully giving the schemes which were not subscribed by me and couple of time they have been refunding the balance arguing that it was a computer mistake.a serious action is required to be taken against the company so that not many customers are cheated like me.

                            Myself Sandip Nandi. I own a number of Reliance Smart Connection.

                            Over a Period of month I’m trying to solve a problem. The details are given below :

                            On 25/09/2009 : I recharged my a/c with Rs.56.

                            On 26/09/2009 : I sent an SMS for SP20(250 SMSs, valid for 30 Days). for which Rs.23 was deducted from my a/c but the service was not activated from your end then. So I lodged a complain soon.

                            On 28/09/2009 : I got the feedback that I have insufficient balance so it was not activated then though the charges for the facility was deducted from my a/c & I had till Rs25+ to spare in my a/c (the service charge is Rs 23).

                            On 29/09/2009 : Again Rs 20 deducted from my a/c.
                            On 30/09/2009 : Again Rs 5 deducted from my a/c.
                            On 2ndor 3rd Oct’09 : Again Rs 5 deducted from my a/c.

                            For all those above mentioned deductions I lodged several complains(more than 10 times, some Complain Nos:[protected],[protected],[protected] etc.) & and I talked many times to Customer Care Executives & some Senior Executives ( Surya Kanta Mukherji, Avijit Das, Suaman Dutta ) on this issue, I was told then every information I have provided is correct and will be resolved after 5th October, 2009. But the situation remain unchanged. On 30th Oct, I had a talk with your Complaint Dept. Personnel- Rajesh Kumar Rajat (as I was told)in details & lodged again a complain[protected].

                            But every time I got the same Reply that the amounts are charged correctly against the VAS Pack which I cost Rs.53 (23+20+5+5) in total but the actually should be Rs23.

                            So Rs 30 has been deducted from my a/c forcibly.

                            More over, for which facility all the things happened- “The SMS Pack” was not credited to my account. except the fact that I got 30 SMSs (instead of 250) for 1or 2 day(s) (instead of 30 days) and I used 2 of them.

                            So please solve the issue from your end between10th November’09.
                            Else I have to register a complain with ‘Consumer Forum’ or TRAI for the same.

                            Reliance GSM is the most worst in comparision to all the GSM services and there customer care is also inactive, the are failing to service the costumers .                               Hi,

                              I am fed up of the regular absence of network on the reliance pre paid connection that I have. I have missed a lot of important calls because o[censored]ntimely absence of the network coverage. Many a times, it happens that the phone shows no signals of the network and upon manually searching the network, it shows all other network operators except the reliance network.

                              These reliance poeple only know to spend money on big, attractive, costly ads, with famous celebrities promoting one of the worst telecommunication services in India. If they improve the services, I think the service will speak for itself and no costly ads will be required.

                              Dhirubhai Ambani wanted to have every single indian have a mobile phone. I think he should have thought a little further. A mobile phone with a network.

                                i am using relianace gsm service having mobile no. [protected], and my validity is expire on 16/11/09 and i have recharged my account with the top up of Rs. 165 on 02/11/09 before the expiration of the validity, at the beginning when i have taken the sim i have recharge Rs. 100 voucher of validity, and in that case it is said to me that when i recharge my account with a minimum recharge of Rs. 90 within 90 days, my validity will extend. since when i am fulfilling the condition, but now i validity is not going to extend, for updating the validity i have complained three times in the reliance gsm service but they dont allow the updation. as the condition was mentioned at beginning when a customer is fulfilling the conditon his validity is extend automatically, but in my case after making three complaints in the customer care i am facing the problem of non-updation of the validity of my mobile. please see my matter and try to solve it as soon as possible.

                                i am using [protected] of reliance gsm service and i m fulfilling the condition of the service with i had on that mobile number. but every time i had to make a complain to increase the validity of that number. the automatic updation is not occuring on my service. so please chek it and make it as soon as possible.

                                I have recently taken 5 group sim cards from a sales executive with proper registration papers and got my connection line activated, lately my line has stopped working and when i got in touch with the sales exe regarding this problem, he said i needed a photo as the documents needed it and the line will get activated, i have sumbitted the photo and the line is still not activated, the sales exe is giving false committment and promising the line will get activated from thursday[protected] .

                                I want you;ll to take action on him as has not only wasted your company time and my time and have also spoiled your company name between of this.

                                  1) On 22/11/09 i got SMS from 51234125 at 8.59PM "Your Subscription to Astro has been renewed at Rs. 49 for 30 days ,to unsubscribe SMS Unsub 1021 or 51234125 to 155223".and many times they deducted balance for any reson.
                                  I was tring to send Many times but SMS could not send.Finally i called at 333 from my cell at 9.03Pm on 22nd Nov 09 and they keep me on hold for 20 to 25 Min. and finaly reply sorry this will activated through IVR System automatically and we could not refund your money.

                                  Befor that i was reminded your supervisor about my previous complaints which loged on.

                                  18th Sept to Activate Do not distrub
                                  again on 24th Oct to deactivate all Subscribe facility which never activated by me.
                                  22nd Nov.9.02Pm

                                  Note :- This is not first time you deducting charges from my account this is repeted sevaral time.I think this is a foolish game you people are playing to Earn money.

                                  2) 54321.... unknown no sms



                                  I getting continuous nonsense messages from numbers with the prefix of 54321..like[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]. I have Reliance number.
                                  It's been a month since we are getting these messages. They are very irritating.
                                  well this is true, it is happening with me too, it has repeatedly deducted in the same manner and when i call to unsubscribe to that number, there is no option like astroindia to unsubscribe

                                    Got the number disconnected after paying all the dues on 07/05/09 vide their receipt number S[protected]. The other connection of reliance with number[protected] promptly got disconnected but the data card bills have still not stopped. There was no usage of the data card from the date of my last payment and settlement.

                                    Every month I receive a bill and every month there are several phone calls to make the payments of the bill.

                                    This harrassment goes on every month even when i regularly request them to check their records and disconnect the number.

                                        I have send this mail to [protected]@Relianceada.com on 7th November 2009 mentioning all the facts regarding the service fault waiver but till date Reliance has not grant me any waiver on the same.

                                        With referance to above subject i would like to inform you the following facts.

                                        1. Request For Waiver of Rental for Telephone : I had recevied bill for the month of August 2009 for rs.717=91 due date for the same is 14th septmber 2009. i have paid this bill on the 13th septmber 2009 in cash to reliance gallary at dombivli (E). while taking this payment at your Reliance gallery your executive has wrongly mentioned the cusomer account number in cash reciept insted of writing the Billing account No. due to this the payment is not shown/ updated in my account within due date. due this reason reliance has disconnect my telephone line on 25th september 2009 to 26th September 2009 and levied me Rs..25 as the late fee charges. when i find my telephone line disconnected i called to reliance customer care for making enquiry why my telephone line is disconnect, the Reliance fellow told me that u have still not paid your bill therefore your line are diconnect, i have told them that i have already paid the same within the due date and i have reciept for the same payment. i have also talked with the junior level team leader for the same issue and give them to all the details of payment recepit no. name and add. of reliance gallery in which i have made the payment and told them to restart my connection as early as possible otherwise i will disconnect this connection. i have also get the waiver of Rs. 25 which u people levied for late payment in the bill of septmber 2009 in october bill.(the copy of oct'09 bill is enclosed). the all of this process is taken my lot of valuable time and become so much of hectick that due to mistake of your reliance dirty fellow (he also don't know how to talk with customer) i have waste my time in calling you people and attending your incoming calls for the same, visit to reliance gallery to resolve the issue.

                                        I have already made request for waiver for this 2 days via SRN:[protected] dt: 30/11/09 but your fellow told that it is not the companies policy that to provide the waiver for 2 Days. so i asked you 1 question to you.

                                        IS IT YOUR COMPANIES POLICY TO DISCONNECT THE LINE WHEN CUSTOMER REGULARY PAYING THE BILL ON TIME?

                                        IF yes, DISCONNECT MY RELIANCE CONNECTION ON THE SPOT.

                                        IF no,
                                        so i once again REQUEST you to give me the Rental Waiver for the 2 Days i.e. 25th and 26th September 2009.


                                        2. Request For Waiver of Rental for Internet Connection : I have taken a combo plan (Internet + Telephone connection) this connection is not working for the period of 1st october 2009 to 5th october 2009 i have made the complaint for the same via
                                        SRN:[protected] dt: 1/10/09 for Internet
                                        SRN: 11271392 dt.: 1/10/09 for telephone

                                        your system shows that this compliant is resolved on 3rd of october 2009 but actully this complaint is resolved only on 5th october 2009 when your relaince executive came to my home and resolved the problem.

                                        I have made the following request for waiver for this fault period
                                        SRN:[protected] dt:30/10/09 for telephone
                                        SRN:[protected] dt: 30/10/09 for Internet.

                                        In this regard the billing department has called me on 31/10/09 for telephone complaint and informed me that we have already given the waiver for the same period in your current i.e. oct 09 bill (Copy of bill is enclosed) i found this ok,
                                        but for Internet waiver complaint has nobody called me till date i have than call to customer care for the same, the fellow told me that we have called you on 31st october 09 for internet but on 31st oct 09 i have recd. call for only telephone department.

                                        I think that the neccesary co-ordination among the various department of reliance are not there because for the same problem the telephone department has given me the waiver before taking my request in my bill and the internet dept. is not giving after taking my request also.

                                        So, i request you to give the waiver for the same..

                                        The reliance executive told me that after sending this mail within 24 hours you should get the revert, so i m waiting for reply.

                                        I have talked many times with the customer support centre for the same subject, i have also talked with the lower level team supervisor they all shown their disability to provide the waiver on the above subject.

                                        i have also informed the billing department and the customer support centre that i will not pay my last due bill for month of october 2009 till the time u not provide the waiver.

                                        So finally waiting for much time i have made service disconnect request on 22nd november 2009 srn[protected] after dicussing the issue lot on lower team supervisior Mr.Sachin on 22nd Nov. 09.

                                        Please help me in this matter so i can pay my balance bill and resolved this issue for ever.
