I requested for a broadband connection on the 17th of November 2008 for which I duly issued a cheque which was charged by you on the 24th Nov. However I have not yet received my connection even after a month of my payment. My repeated complaints have not yielded any response from the company, as they keep passing the buck between the local agency and the head office.

In the meantime I am forced to retain my current Internet connection as a lot of my official work depends on connectivity.

So I am being cheated by Reliance in two ways:

1) Paying for a connection which I have not received.
2) Paying for another internet connection which I don't want

Could some one please help me with the next course of action. I want to take up legal proceedings against Reliance.

Fro my broadband account, I have received pass word, but it isnot activated. The password is not clear. Please send a new password for log in account and payment in online
Broadband Activation really Sucks!!

They are very slow.
Not responsive.
Customer service about account activation really poor.
I paid for reliance broadband netconnect connection on 21st August and i received data card on 23rd august.Still today the account is not activated.There is no response from reliance net connect even after repeated complaints.The service really sucks . I am planning legal action

    I GOT A CALL FROM THE ASC ON 11/07/2008 THAT THE INSTRUMENT NEEDS SOME PARTS CHANGE AND IT WILL COST AROUND RS. 1500 TO 2000/- FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED PARTS.

    WHILE THE SUBMISSION OF MY INSTRUMENT THE SERVICE ENGINEER / TECHNICIAN CAREFULLY CHECKED THE INSTRUMENT AND ADVISED ME THAT THIS WILL COST ONLY RS. 350/- SINCE ONLY THE ON-OFF SWITCH IS DAMAGED. ( IT WAS WORKING BUT NOT IN PROPER )

    Subject- Facing some network problem during 2 ½ month.

    Dear sir,
    I am a user of Reliance GSM service(SMART) network for 3 years. I am from north 24 parganas (near kolkata), West Bengal. And I was very much pleased to use that network until I have to face the too much network busy problems, when I make any call. In that case, I have to dial 50-60 times a number to make a call. Even customer care often don’t receive our phone calls. And I am facing this problem during 2 ½ month. Even I make many times calls to customer care and requested them many many times to forward my complain to the Head Office. But there is no progress to service and delete the problem. The customer executive officer only says that please wait, we will surely do anything. Only not me, my all friends are facing that problems.

    And today, the network is totally dead. Neither outgoing can be make nor incoming can be done.

    We the user of Reliance GSM Service of Kolkata will be much helped i[censored] do anything.

    Thank you so much to pay some attention to my mail and waist few minutes for me.

    Very Poor Network, Not Sending GPRS Settings
    It has a very poor network in the city..and I am complaining from 2 months for not sending me the gprs settings...i am very much frustrated...please help me.who will pay my loss.
    I had recharged Rs.400 top up for idea gprs monthly subscription on 18/03/09.
    After 48 hrs money started deducting from balance account, after complaining to idea customer care., they provided communication id[protected].they requested to wait till 26/03/09, on 26/03/09 they again asked to wait till 28/03/09, and finally on 28/03/09 they again asked to wait till 30/03/09.
    Now, i am fed up with this issue I want my money back which was deducted after activation.

    Kindly consider this complaint, waiting for a favourable reply.

    Internet through Reliance Smart GPRS Service is too slow nowadays in Cooch Behar (West Bengal 736101).

    Sir, my mobile no. is [protected] and now i am using the motorola c168 handset. Earlier i was able to use the wap service of airtel in my handset. But since when i brought the Reliance GSM sim the wap(GPRS) service is not working and i have lodge so many complaints in the Customer care and still not able to use the GPRS service. I have received the setting of the GPRS, but still it is not working ...
    So is there anyone who can solve my problem, and Reliance people are useless .

    Hi, I am Dibyendu Maiti having the mobile no [protected](smart gsm). When I am in my home at Vill+P.O: Joteghanashyam. Police Station: Daspur, Block: Daspur-2, West Midnapur, West bengal, Pin Code: 721153 I am unable to get minimum tower for talking. Sometime it is showing the tower of Khanyadihi, East midnapur. So I am requesting to set up a tower in our area such that it will help to provide reliance mobile service in the area like Gopalnagar, Goura, Sonakhali, Bakshi, and in all the area under Daspur- 2 block. As I am a unemployed BTech engineer I can help to set up the tower in our own land just opposite to our mobile service centre.
    i swear gsm has a very bad network..it is no worth..wherever you go, it shows EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY..
    Very poor network strength, one really has to find a network to make a call. The customer care number is most of the time not reachable/busy and even though when they pick up they are not in position to give a solution then and there. They give excuses that one of their service care execute will get back to your shortly, which they never do. I have called them several times and every time they just say that they have noted down the complaint and forwarded it to the concerned department for further necessary action. With this kind of customer support it has unnecessary become a follow-up activity and a harassment for the consumer. This i am referring with the problems faced while trying to access internet on my Sony Ericsson c510. My mobile didn’t detect network name in network wizard. Although i have received and configured the GPRS settings on my cell, but then also i am unable to access net. When i access internet on my mobile i get a notification that " Connection failure. Check settings. If problem persists contact your operator for support.” Also if you try opening R World by selecting any of its options available, it never opens and it notifies "please wait". Kindly take necessary action for making things better and enabling the consumers to have a better consumer services and effective customer support. my mobile number is [protected].

    Reliance gsm service smart — Network problem

    i'am a smart user since 3 months & daily in our area on mahasamund district of chattisgarh there is the problem of server down & network related problems it means that we are totally unsatisfied with it's service, so please do care for it.

      I have submitted a termination request form at "Prabha Communications Reliance World" in Karvenagar Pune, on 30th August' 08. The request was accepted, and my card was submitted. Also all my pending dues and termination amount of Rs.525 was also paid. I have a receipt for the same. I have left Pune and am currently based in Chennai.
      Since that time I have been getting reminders for bill payment every month at my office address in pune, and now finally I have received a warning letter from Reliance for legal procedures. This is ridiculous !!! Its been 4 months and the records have not yet been updated that a no.has been terminated ?
      when i called customer care, they told me that the no.is still active and is being used by someone and the dues have amounted to Rs.684 for which the bill is still being sent to me, although I am no more using Reliance.
      I want to report the unauthorized usage of my card after Aug, 30th 2008 and want a confirmation that this issue has been closed, else I shall report this further on. This is not acceptable, as you cannot harass a customer, just because you guys are at fault somewhere!!!

        Reliance have no ethics i am the franchisee of Reliance in the name & style of Emm Infocom Abohar (Punjab) since Launching. I know has Company deducted the Money from the consumer phone after than company did not respond. We are also suffering with the customer. Company has only excuse it is Value Added Services we have not activate the services. It has been activate from Backend or automatic. We are unable to understand where is company Backend.

        Who has done this? Why the company Chairman Mr Anil Ambani did not thing about Infocom Business in Punjab or the franchisee?

        I have also send the written complaint against company person with name rank along proof to MR Anil Ambani they did not have any answer? These questions are related with Infocom Business in the Punjab. But Mr Ambani has no time even to read my documents he have just replayed you have discussed all the Issue with Mr Sanjeev Garg CO of Punjab. He (Mr Sanjeev Garg) Said All the Debits & Credits are as per Policy So We are unable to do any thing. Now Our question at time of doing the job by the company persons with DSA/SDSA where were company policy, company persons did not did his duty as per policy & we are having the proof which are showing Now How You can say All the Debits has been made by the company to the franchisee are genuine. He (Mr Sanjeev Garg) has refused to discuss with me.

        This shows Company have no ethics. They are the manipulators you are requested to look the matter seriously because it is happened with every franchises or with the customers I am sure that every franchisee has been panelized with huge bed debits.

        Company people give every franchisee & franchisee to customer sweet Tablets Like Wire Line, Big TV, PCO, GSM etc is coming soon after then all the problems have been resolved But till date it is not happened

        We people small businessman are working with reliance with the sweet tablet as coming business will give you the chance for recover the looses . But every time we have loose something in Reliance.

        I am agreeing with the above customer complaint Because It is also happened with us as franchisee

          I purchased Big TV Package for Rs. 4990.00 on 9th Sep, 2008 and opted for MAX subscription. Now I'm getting calls regarding my payment for subscription being due on 17th Dec, 2008. As per my information on purchase of MAX 4990 offer I was to get 1 yr Max subscription for free. However when called the call center executives they are not able to provide me with any detail with a simple reason that there isn't sufficient balance in my a/c and the solution is to recharge my a/c by paying subscription amount. I don't understand why am I asked to recharge my account when I'm suppose to have the subscription free for a year.

          I also had similar issue for wrong package being applied to my account before for which logges another complain before

          I purchased Big TV Package for Rs. 4990.00 on 9th Sep, 2008 and opted for MAX subscription but I don't have access to all the channels inside max pack (eg. Zee TV, Sab TV, Filmy, ...etc.), I have lodged a complain for the same on 21st sep, 2008 (complain no.[protected], but even after my repeated calls to the call center executives this complain is not resolved.

          Only responce I received for the above complain is as below:

          The same problem occured with me. I took a subscription of 4990 and i came to know 2490 pack is active for me after 3 months. After many complaints, they close the complaints without any relevant information. Nobody has responsibility towards customers in Reliance. Following are the complaint numbers which i raised with Big TV

          I am a Big TV Costumer of yours. At the time of selecting your service I thought, that reliance is always better in services when compared to TATA, as I am also using a reliance postpaid mobile connection for last 4 Years. But now I do feel that you guys are not gone that matured with providing services for the DTH service. My Details are as under.

          The problem I am facing is that, we lost our smart card a few days back. You may find it strange but yes it happened. I was away from town and my younger sister carried the smart card to one of your dealers to get it recharged and misplaced it somewhere. Now we made complain for the same at your costumer care help line number. It happened somewhere around 20th of Jan. 2009. We had different feed backs every time. A few experts are as under.



          · Initially we were told that your engineer will visit us with a new smart card, but nothing happened for 2 days

          · Then we were told that we need to buy a new smart card from your dealer and tell your guys the number of the smart card and then it would be activated.

          · We visited your dealer; he refused to get it done this way. He straight away said that if the service doesn’t get activated this way, he won’t be responsible for the smart card.

          · We called the CC number again, we were again told that an engineer would visit us, but nothing happened for few more days.

          · Later some other day, we were told that we need to pay for the smart card first. The payment is to be made in the form of recharge of Rs. 650. Although a few DTH services are available in the market which give you started up in just Rs 500 and also give you subscription of 3 months free, I never thought of deviating from Reliance. I recharged my account.

          · Next day I get a call from your local dealer saying that he needs to check the card for 2 days before he can deliver it to us. Now the third day he is not even taking our call.

          · Finally today I again called up your CC number, and again a new complaint number was given to me, and I was told that some one would attend my problem soon. But nothing happened.

          · I am given a lots of complaint number (like 86912941, 8745995, 87655791 etc) but I was never given a solution.

          · Now its almost 13 days gone, but we are still not sure whether the services would get restord of not.

          · I started up your service by paying Rs 2490. In spite of not having the smart card with me I recharged my account for Rs 800 in advance. Now I do feel that I have blocked even these 800 Rs of mine, where as I could have approached some other DTH service provider with using this amount.





          I am really not sure of whether this mail of mine would help me restore my services, but I did it to turn this matter in words.

We hope the Cstmr care rectify this but they dont taken any action. After Few week i called them again to know a/c details & recharge, but they said me you have purchased a movie also I m surprised and
          Finally said them to close My Big Tv account

            Respected sir.
            i have reliance india mobile numbar (state-jharkhand) . the fone provide us its own world for downloading interesting thing like hello tune, ring tone etc etc.
            i download one ring tone nd the company take charges it 43 rs.real chareg is 15 rs. after taking the downloading charge of ringtone. company doesn't provide me any ringtone. i have loss 43 rs. i dnt know how to recover it.. plz help me.

              Product : Reliance USB Modem
              Plan: Freedom @ Night(Rs. 400 monthly rental charges)

              I purchased Reliance USB Modem for Plug -n- Surf connection on 28th Aug 08. In which they informed me to produce address proof I gave our Gas connection card, they said it is fine and gave me the data card at cost Rs.2820/-. After that they activated the connection for 3 days.
              They deactivated the connection saying the address proof is invalid as it doenot have your name, so I said what else can I submit for the same. They said that your Company HR letter would do. But I went outstation and I submitted the letter on 1st Nov, after that they told they will start the connection.
              But then after calling repeatedly for whole month they finally said you should pay the bill of 3 days that was Rs.240/- then it will activate. I paid the bill in dec itself. After that also the internet is not working.
              I again called them they said due to non usage for 3 months the MDN got expired and you have to again pay Rs.330 to get new MDN.
              Please help as already have paid so much money and not used connection. I have wasted my time and energy going to the office in Panjagutta many times, from which I purchased.

              If they can return my Rs.2820 and take back the instrument I am happy to do so.

              Reliance is endorsing uninterrupted wireless connectivity and surfing speeds up to 144 kpbs but the fact is download speed in peak hours is 1-5 kpbs and 1-16 kpbs in off-peak hrs. And connection fails frequently. Is there any one to address the false claims the company's make.

                i have opt for this post paid no on 24 october 2008 and on 26 of oct a person came for verification and all the formalities was done but after 2 days my my outgoing and incoming was blocked with reason that verification negative and after so many request they have not started my services i.e incoming and outgoing still they send me the first bill and when i call the customer care than they told me it was verification negative and from that point of time till today my phone no is in same position no outgoing and incoming and now they have sent me second bill
                can please see into the matter what goes wrong

                I am subscribed under unlimited 440 plan under which rim to rim all india calling is free.
                Still I am being charged for it and my outgoing has been de activated.

                I registered one complaint with Request ID 73795264 for the same on 11 aug 2008 .
                I also registered complaint for the same through *333 service the docket no is 73716565 dated 10 aug 2008.

                I have deposited the amount of 600 rs (11 aug 2008, 1:00 pm ) as advance still my outgoing has not been started.

                I was charge false bills and when I asked for the detail no detail is provided.

                Please look in to the matter asap.

                I want to file a consumer complaint against reliance
                mobile industries.

                I am a post paid subscriber of reliance, my no is [protected].
                I registered on 30th july 2008 for rim to rim unlimited free calling plan.
                I get the plan acceptance message on 31 july. After that ideally any
                call to rim sud not be charged but they are charging my all calls
                irrespective of what network I am calling.

                I have resorted to the customer care of reliance many times but no
                help was provided.

                I kept receiving messages from reliance bill department that my usage
                are high and they cut my outgoing . every time they do this I had to
                deposit the advance bill to restart my outgoing services. This has
                happened too many times in last month.

                The point to be noted is that the bill I deposited was fraud but to
                start my outgoing I had no other option other than advance payment of
                bill which I hope would be returned back once my problem of false bill
                generation will be sorted out.
                But nothing happen to my complaint and I paid unnecessary bills and
                still I don't have out going in my mobile.
                Please help out me sir I am writing below all the complaint ID and

                my muber is [protected]. I have never subscribeed to additional services like...youth pack, crbt services, job search etc or any other services, and have subscribbed to DND. Hoever i regularly get messages about these services, and occasionally am informed that money is being deducted for these services from my balance. Couple of complaints to customer care has been left unheard. I wonder when these telcos will put a stop to these fraudulent practices of charging the customers.

                  The company had a scheme of giving 600 talk time for 500 top up. I went to the retailer and filled the same. The card gave me just 445 top up. The retailor says its the fault of the distributor and the company said that it cannot help me. I want to know what actions can be taken on the distributor because of his fault i have a loss of almost Rs. 150 which could get me another card.

                    I got reliance USB DATA CARD ON @26/11/2008 FROM PUNEETH TELECOM ' s EMPLOYEE ANAND, whose mobile no. is[protected].

                    Till present time, it is not working for internet /any other services.

                    other services means that if communication with customer care no of RELIANCE NETCONNECT., which indicate on the Quick Guide 121 - they gave me information as following : -

                    1. if connect with[protected] then their answer is it for c orporate a/c & this no. from karan. so u call on *333/*355.
                    second their answer is i am not hearing ur voice clear so i am sorry to disconnect this customer service

                    2. IF I CALL ON *333 AFTER 8 P.M. THEN THEIR answer is --sorry sir i am not hear ur voice clear.

                    i call again then their remarks that u may call from 8 p.m. to 6 p.m.

                    THIRD TYPE ANSWER IS - this is diferent a/c/orepaid a/c/ur information is not clear/i am not able to hear ur voice/ ur voice is cracking/u speak loadly

                    i want information about disconnection about RELIANCE NETCONNECT.

                        I have been using this reliance prepaid mobile [protected] provided by my company since last 9 months. There are fifteen connections using by differest staff of our company. Means we are very good customer to Reliance.
                        But my compalin is I have recharged my account with Rs. 500/- on dated 9th of December 2008. Now on 10th of December suddenely i have noticed that my balance is 4Rs. 80 paise only. I enquired with reliance customer care where they told me that they ( reliance) had wrongly debited Rs. 1000/- to my account on 7th of December. So they have credited the Rs. 1000/- that means they taken back.
                        Now my point is, if you taken back Rs.1000/- which i have not used that is ok but why you taken my money Rs. 500/- which i have charged on 9th of December too.
                        i have registered the compalin also and i have received the complain numbere SR 82634422 and the person of cusotmer care told me that it was wrongly deducted of Rs. 500/- and it will give to your account within three days.
                        But after one day that is on 11th of december 2008 i have receieved the SMS from reliance number [protected] that as per the SR 82634422 there was no wrong deduction found from your reliance account. Then I asked for the statement which they denied to furnish me.
                        Now please help me to recover my money.

                          Sir, i purchased netconnect from reliance pathankot .At the time of purchase i asked them if it works in kathua in jammu kashmir as most of the time i am their only due to my industrial set up.I have been told that as this is a postpaid system it will definitly work in jammu kashmir.What when i bought it and tried it it didn't work, i approached the dealer for help but he said he cannot do anything in this matter because reliance is getting started very soon in j&k so, wait till that time. sir, please tell me is this avalid excuse, now i want to return my card so that i could take another one of some other co. but that dealer is not helping me and simply harrasing me by sending the bills every month even that connection is not been activated so for, please help.

                            I am using Reliance billing postpaid Mobile for more than 4Yrs.
                            I have samsung SCH-A603 handset which needs to be repaired.
                            But i am unable to find the spare parts in any service centers given by Reliance company.
                            Parts i need are
                            1.Strip code (which connects flap and the other baseof the phone)
                            2. Internal Lock which is between the flap and the base body

                                The down load rate is below 2 Kb/second in day time and in night its almost zero.

                                This is frustarting...being an NRI. I was always proud to talk about success of Reliance in my friends group of other nationalities.

                                I feel ashamed of myself for chosing such a product now...

                                Its my request to authorities either to improve this product or to withdraw the same from market to avoid this kind of dissatisfactions

                                Yes, the Reliance net connection the PCMCIA is really the owrst product I have ever experienced since 1997. It is worse than initial VSNL dial up connection...
                                In today's technology, how can Reliance Group can offer these services to their customers... Actually it is the fault of ourselves who keep it continuing as we we have paid for it and can not afford to buy a substitute...
                                i have a reliance netconnect with me and the downlaoc speed is just 1kbps or sometimes even 0kbps, even when i get full range.
                                this is the worst connection and i advice u to go for tata indicom plug to surf as it is way faster than reliance with sownload speeds upto 30-40 kbps always and its unlimited plan is only for Rs.900 which is cheaper than reliance which offers unlimited for Rs.15000

                                Reliance Netconnect — Slow Speed and netconnect Not working after 5 days

                                My complain is regarding reliance netconnect data card. It has been 1 month I had taken reliance net connect connection for the number [protected]. It was a postpaid connection But it was disconnected in a week and even in that period speed of net was too slow that I was hardly able to open my Gmail account. I’ve paid around Rs- 270 for this month bill of this datacard no. I’ve complained regarding this in the nodal office but they have not given me proper solution But they have given me a new Mdn no: [protected] against the previous no. It had started but again it was disconnected, they told me in your area having network problem,if any problem about netwrok in my area then reliance sales executive must to said this to me .. but she (Shruti [protected]) did not said anything about this So this is reliance executive Mistake... I’ve again complained regarding this and as per customer care executive my no was disconnected because of Negative Verification. Then your verification executive came to me and collected my document at 4th of august. But till now my connection is not started. And I am not able to use internet just because of this and if I call in your customer care they don’t give me any satisfactory reply. They are just playing with my complaint and they are Not talking with me properly. I am totally fade-up with reliance netconnect services. Now I just want to disconnect my connection and want my money back. Please resolve my complain.

                                  I have taken a connection bearing no [protected]. It was active only 2/3 days. After that a message shown in mobile that as your address proof is not proper.

                                  I have submitted my voter ID as photo ID and an address proof declared by my present employer AREVA T&D PVT LTD NAINI Allahabad .

                                  Thousands of connection are active in the name of AREVA T&D INDIA and address declared by them.

                                  So there should not be any problem with the address proof.

                                  Now in this regard i would request you to activate my no as early as possible.

I agreed to pay, on 9th of dec. 2012 a man from reliance came at my home address and i payed security charges, with all te relevant documents. He said number will be activated after verification. I received verification Call from you and was told number will be activated in 24 hrs. next day agai a verification call, then same reply, then after 3rd verification she said it will be activated in 2 hrs. Its been 1 week now i have not been contacted with anyone the lady with whom i spoke last time i called her then after that she stopped answering my phone.

                                    Outgoing from smart Gsm is not working
                                    From last three-four months Relience smart Gsm service in Ranchi (Jharkhand) is ruined by the company as there is no connectivity within the network or vis-a-vis. Yesterday I faced the worst face of Time in my life just only because I am a costumer of Relience smart Gsm. My number is (+91)[protected]. yesterday i.e 10th of December 2008 one of my friend of school's days passed away in an accident. due to non connectivity I failed to appear in the Funeral ceremony of one of my beloved friend whome I loved whole life and at the last moment i failed to see my friends face. Is there Any answer to my simple question : WHO THE HELL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MIS-HAPPENING OR CONSPIRACY. I feel that there is some kind of conspiracy going on with the costumers of relience Smart GSM in Ranchi (Jharkhand). I appeal the management of Relience smart GMS to Answer my question that Why you have shut downed the out going call from SMART GSM in Ranchi On wednesday 10th of december 2008 to thursday 11th december 2008 (1.20 pm) till now without any prior information. I claim For a Compensation from the company. the amount of the said Compensation will be informed from my legal advisor through a notice as soon as possible. This is the First information for the company which i am Filing online.

                                      I disconnected that phone in year 2006. I have not recvd the bill yet. I asked local webworld people hundred many times But received no response. Reliance( A Big Company ) recruited such type of employees who are most negligent. At last i am logging a complaint. And also hope that this time these employees are going to work for the company. Please do forward me last two bills of my phone as soon as possible. I will be greatful to you.
