Dear Sir/Madam,
I am currently in Bangalore and took a Reliance prepaid connection with Rs 496/- plan in month of June. I was told that I can enjoy unlimited reliance to reliance calls all over India with this connection. Talktime will be zero and validity will be 30 days. I was also told that you can recharge with additional Rs. 200 or above if you want to talk to other services like vodafone, Airtel etc. I was able to talk to another reliance STD number for 5 months, after which my outgoing calls to reliance number were barred saying I have insufficient balance. After multiple attempts calling to reliance customer care, I was finally told that lifetime activation was activated after it was recharged with Rs. 200 and hence it wiped out my 496 plan. Customer care told that they cannot do anything now and that I will have to buy some other new schemes.
I was recharging with additional Rs. 200 every month in order to talk to other connections like Airtel, Vodafone etc.
But all of a sudden in the month of November 2008, after I recharged with additional Rs. 200, lifetime activation was activated and it wiped out my 496 plan.
I am unable to understand that without customers permission and approval, how can a lifetime service be stopped.
I would appreciate your assistance in this matter.
