I have taken a Reliance prepaid CDMA SIM card at Jamshedpur on 31st Dec-12 which is still not activated.I submitted all the necessary documents which is required which CAF(Customer Activation Form).

Complaint resolved with too much delay which is not a good experience. I will never refer any one to shop with this. Customer executive never responding on time and updating about the actual challenges they are facing on this.

RIL — Delay in activation of sim card

I have purchased air-tel sim card [protected] and [protected] from long period this sim is not activated pl look in to matter and activate sim .

Reliance Communication — Delay in Activation of GSM prepaid

my gsm no. [protected] was purchased by me on 07/02/2009. meanwhile, i presented my Driving license as my ID proofs at that time (as demanded by the shopkeeper). But still now 8:07 pm of 11/02/2009 my above gsm has not been activated. i'm still waiting for my reliance gsm. the customer care is not answering properly about my complaint.

I want to tell 1 more thing that same time i bought a BSNL prepaid sim which was activated within 10 minutes with same ID Proofs.

Please help me. or call me on my alternative no. [protected].
My Mobile No. is [protected] my sim was misplaced at home
I broght this on 09 Jan-09. Today i have found my Sim and i
put the same in my mobile to check my validity.
i am not getting proper response regarding my validity checking.

Myself Tilak raj singh from Ranchi.jharkhand and i have purhased a new sim of Reliance GSM having no.[protected] dt.13.2.13. My problem is that whenever i insert this sim, no network is found. Does it mean my no. is not Activated? If yes?

    on 9th of jan.My bal.Of 65rs was deducted and I complaint at their office they told that there is no information about deduction and they took my complaint and give me complaint no.And told that I'LL get reply in 3 days but I receive msg from company that there is no wrong deduction from your a/C.So again I visited office and they again took my complaint for the same I only need to know for what reason my balance was deducted.And in customer care also they tell that there is no information about my deduction and now wen I am calling to there head he is telling that we cant only access your detail for 3days and we are not having any record.
    So kindly look after this as fast as possible.

      HELLO SIR,
      AS I AM CUSTOMER OF RELIANCE CDMA CONNECTION WITH THE NO. [protected] WITH THE NAME OF R.S. SINGH. WHICH IS MORE THAN 3 YEAR OLD WITH THE PROPER DOCUMENTATION.
      SOMEWHERE 20 DAYS BEFORE MY CONNECTION HAS TERMINATED WITHOUT GIVING ANY COMMUNICATION FROM THEIR END.
      I AM VERY SORRY TO TELL THAT WHAT SORT OF POOR WORKING HAS BEEN DONE BY RELIANCE PEOPLE. I ADVISE EVERYBODY TO DO NOT TAKE ANY SIM BY SUCH A UNETHICAL COMPANY.

      Reliance India Mobile — Service suspended since 24 days

      I am using a RIM sim card since january 1st 2009, at that time I had submitted the required documents and photo id and everything. Now after 6 months on 10th August they suspended my phone number without any prior notice. Upon asking Customer Care they asked me to submit the documents again, following which I submitted my documents again at Reliance Web World, Hiranandani, Powai. At that time they said that since this is a case of address change, it will take 1 week for the SIM Card to get reactivated again. I waited for that period as well. After 1 week also, my SIM Card failed to work and I made frequent trips to the Reliance Web World to lodge a complaint, every time they gave me different excuses like my HLR status hasnt been updated and things like that. And every time they just say that in their system my service status is "ACTIVE", but upon asking why it doesnt work if it is active, they keep giving excuses.

      Now after 22 days of wait, my service is still not active. On 5 August I had recharged my phone with 490/- rupees which credited my RIM to RIM calls to 2000 minutes. Its validity is going to end on 5th September. And all this while, due to my service being suspended, my money is going waste. And upon asking them to extend my validity also, they are not doing so.

      Reliance HELLO Chhattisgarh — Modification In Plan withour prior information

      I was using Plan 525 in my Reliance hello number,which also inlcuded free calls to LOCAL RELIANCE GSM numbers.
      but they suddenly removed this facility from this plan without informing.

      The Billing cycle is from 18th to 18th of next month
      they removed this facility on 18th August,without any information on SMS or CALLS.

      I came to know this i was being charged for making calls to RELIANCE GSM numbers on the bill of 18th August-18th september.
      this is totally wrong.Infact no body was informed for this who were using this facility.

      Even i had registered complaints regarding this, but they didnt resolve it.

      i request you to kindly take some serious actions.

        Reliance GSM — regarding no activation

        Dear sir,
        I Vikram kumar purchased a Reliance GSM Sim card from IIT-G campus (No.- [protected]) sim no[protected] and number was activated on 28, July 2011. I have submitted original bonafied certificate and institute I card and pan card xerox copy but number has been closed on 7/8 august, 2011 with any prior mail/SMS/call. i have lodge a complain on 9,august 2011 at reliance customer care centre near jail road guwahati and i also contacted so many times chandan (RIM employe , his no is given by retailer) on mobile (N0.- [protected]) i think he is wasting my time and miss guided me and from customer care side no action has been taken. i have recharged my account with 599. I am to much disappointed from your service. please take necessary action to activate this no as soon as possible. i have submitted the required document second time to the retailer.

            every time deduct the balance without any prior information, no service activation from my side but they activate it self, I have refunded my main balance many time, & some time not. but why this so ?               My Name is Deepak and I am an Officer in Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India. My Reliance Prepaid Number is: [protected].

              I use this SIM only for 3G internet purposes. So I have to have some minimum balance.

              Reliance is arbitrarily deducting money every now and then on the names of random value added services, though I have not subscribed to any of these. Today (19th January 2013), they have deducted 75 rupees.

              I have given the messages below:

              Amount Charged for VAS Osian SMS Pack Rs:30.00.
              Current Main Balance : Rs:103.03

              Time: 19/01/13 4:40 PM

              2. Number: RM-Reliance
              Content:

              And at times, Reliance themselves send me a message adding me to the subscription list of a random VAS and charge me as per their wishes.

              Reliance Communication — Heavy Charging for printouts

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I would like to put a complain about the below shop.

              Law Point (Counsel & Advisor),
              2/7, Rajasthan CHS, Opposite Kohinoor Hotel & Sahara Plaza, Andheri-Kurla Road,
              J.B. Nagar, Andheri (East), Mumbai-400059, [protected],[protected],

              The mentioned shop is also hosting a cyber cafe. I would like to inform you that, they are
              "charging Rs-10 for a single Black & White printout", which in other shops it is maximum 3 to 5 Rs per page. The shop is the only one which is having such a facility at that location, and is charging heavy rates which a customer has to pay as he/she don't have another option.

              Please look into this matter urgently.

              On 27th Feb automatically Rs. 30 got deducted from my account, upon calling customer care I knew that a News pack has been activated at my no. Before this also Rs. 60 was got deducted for a Siridi Sai pack and a Love pack automatically which I had to request for deactivation. Customer care executives say that I pressed some key and it got activated which is totally false and baseless. I’m using Reliance from last two years and only recently such automatic deductions happening. Customer care executives say the amount cannot be refunded. Kindly help. Also kindly let me know if any law is there to stop this kind of activities of service providers?

              Reliance Communications LTD. — Check the deduction of Rs 1 daily from my account.

              Sir,
              With due respect i beg to say that i have lost as many as Rs 150 balance till now due to automatic activation of one thing or other. I may swear that i never use my prepaid connection for any other purpose apart from calling. In the past few months a Bhakti pack, jokes pack, a news pack and now a SMS pack has been activated. I have deactivated the first three packs after checking if anything is activated from my side by chance. I have visited a lot of reliance communication centres in my city. But Somehow or the other a new pack is automatically activated again and again. i have been trying to contact the customer care to all toll free numbers i.e. [protected], 198 but the line stays busy all the time. A few times my phone is picked up i don't get to listen anything and my balance is deducted as per 50p/3 min.
              So, i kindly request you to take steps to de-activate the service soon. I want no refunds. I am facing a lot of inconvience and stress.

              Reliance Telecom — Balance randomly deducted

              I have been a reliance customer since 2004. Earlier i had a Mumbai region number, recently I have shifted to Haridwar and hence took a new Reliance number here. I bought thee new SIM on 28the Jan and got a 799 STV recharged on 4the Feb,2012 theat time my balance was around 6Rs, which got deducted and theus I got a top up recharge done from PAYTM on 6the Feb for Rs110. On 8the March suddenly my balance of Rs92 became zero. Since theen i have been trying to contact Reliance but theere has been no help only answer theey give is theat it was promotional balance but no one is ready to listen as to how can it be promotional balance when i got a top up recharge done from PAYTM, an online recharge website and when I have an unlimited talk plan offer how can I use my actual balance. Also no customer service executive is responding properly, if theeir records are wrong theat is not my problem why should thee consumer suffer. Reliance has been a theief always.

              Aaj Three Month Se Lagataar 2 -3 Din K Antar Pe 1 Rs Kisi Na Kisi Service K Liye Kaat Lete Hai.
              Jb Phone Kro Toh Kehte Hai K khud se servise active ki hai, aapne.
              Phir Paise waapas Kr Dete Hai, But Jb Paise Kaatte hai, toh koi msg. bhi nahi bhejte hai.
              Is tarah agar humne balance check na kiya ho toh hame pata bhi nahi chalega ki hamaara paisa kta hai ki nahi. Main toh check kr leta hu aur waaps kra leta hu.
              But Reliance k million Customer hai, Jinke saath aisa ho rha hai, sochiye Daily Kitne Paise Fraud se kma Rahe hai, Ye..

                Am immensely saddened about unprofessional and cheated services of your customer care executive-Miss Lata.



                I spoke to one of your customer care executives called Miss Lata at your complaint helpline no. 198 at around 2:52 PM. on 16/01/2013 as to know why 1Paisa SMS pack worth Rs. 26/month is dysfunctional (which was running since a long time on my number).

                She deactivated the ongoing SMS pack without my consent giving me false assurance that the same SMS pack would be reactivated with 3 hours of time, which was never a case.



                Complaint against sited above case had also been registered on 17/01/2013 at 08:45 AM. to Mr. Kulwant-Senior Floor Supervisor. I was told the same would be resolved by 48 hours. Unfortunately nothing as such happened until writing this e-mail to you.

                At the end I want same SMS service pack fully functional on my number. Details given below would help you in taking necessary action against it.

                Reliance Communications — Fraudulent act

                I have one Reliance Communication connection which was activated after 23 days of buying the connection' the complaints had no effect. It is the worst company with hopeless customer services. Anyone buying Reliance must take care.

                A Reliance communication executive came in my office and he told for post paid connection,the name of Executive is Mr.Aashish srivastava(mobile no-[protected]),told for buying post paid connection,he collected my I.D.proof and one photograph ,I told that I have no address proof ( I hired a room on rent and till date there is no any valid rental agreement),before submitting my Address proof I got a call from his side that you have bill amount of Rs.1500=00,I shocked after hearing this that without using reliance phone how can I got such type of bill,he told that your nuber is alloted before two month and Number is -[protected],he also told that if you are not depositing it we shall collect by our recovery agent and it will fatal for your future,it will also loose your credibility ,I gave them this amount and told that how can I be free from this pain,He told that if you are submitting a request for pre paid then you will get rid off it,I was not aware of it and I gave a request,I also met his immediate boss and told that I have not given my address proof and related documents,but he told that we have not required it,I also visited reliance shoppe and there I found that valid I. D proof is necessary,after proper investigation by my side I found that he used a fraud residential address proof,he used it on stamp paper and used it for illegal purpose,without my signature and my knowledge ,he also used such type of fraudent in many cases,When I told that it is illegal his boss shouted me and told that'jyada harish chandra n bano,kya ukhad loge,jaha jo karana ho kar lo,tumhare aise logo ko mai roj charata hu'. Till date I have only receipt of Rs.275=00 from his side, A call came from their customer care office from Mumbai and I told for this fraudent but no any proper responce.

                        I have postpaid number of relaince [protected].
                        I talked to their executive on 198 to activate 99rs data pack, she put me on hold and after that said that you can start using your internet on thae plan after 24hrs and your limit is 2gb. she didn't tell me that i will get a confirmation message in case its get activated.
                        I am a layman in the field of telecom, as she told me that you pack will get activated in 24hrs. so i waited for 24 hrs and after that started using the net. now instead of rs.99 company is asking me to pay 3750 for internet usage. not only this they barred my number as well

                        why i should pay when the fault is of company, if they had technical issues in activating my plan and they didn't inform me that your plan can't be activated.

                        please look into the matter.

                        Reliance — Barred my number

                        I am Uday kumar and my mobile no is [protected]. My number got barred on 1st July. When I called customer care they asked me to submit the documents. I have submitted it thrice. They barred my incoming call by 4th july. Then i gave a complaint. And whenever i call customer care they provide dissatisfactory solutions. Its been more than a week now.                           this is girija from bhubaneswar orissa i hav recharged y reliance gsm number with rs 597 on Sunday but i am getting 2g speed on this 3g net pack, i have called customer care more than 10 times but each time i get a answer that technical problem in your area but my friends in the same area are using reliance 3g in its usual speed sometimes the customer care keep me in hold for a long time end then disconnect the call if this problem is not solved then i am going to file a consumer case against the reliance and the customer care of it.

                            I think no one should purchase Reliance Sim cards because this company does not have ethics & it is the fraudulent company.

                            My acoount balance has been deducted so many times with wrong charges by activating nonsense schemes by their end itself & I am even not informed for any activation.

                            last time also my account has been charged with 30 rupees for any kind of nonsense services without my permission.

                            Till date I am even not knowing the name of that scheme; I am not getting any kind of benefits of that scheme.

                            The day when reliance did this fraud; I called to 198 for the whole night to get my money back but they frauds did not give me revert so now I am not even recharging that account.

                            Why Reliance is fraud company is a big problem ?

                            Because I have arleady registered my mnobile for DND from almost 2 months then also I am getting calls from Reliance; & they have activated such kind of scheme; I wish Anil Ambani would die soon for this.

                            Because for me 30 rupees costs greater than his life.

                            It is my good side that I am not teaching lesson to reliance else I can teach; very simple;

                            Take a new postpaid connection use it & dont pay the bill.

                            so it is my self experience with Reliance; my conclusion is no one should purchse reliance if your money really does matter to you; for me my money is very precious & thats why now I am not recharging my mobile.

                            I am still getting Promotional calls from Reliance despite activation of DND from last two months.

                            I would simply say to everyone that no one should purchase reliance.

                            From past few days balance is continuously deducting and also my gprs in not working(fluctuating connection) .
                            They(customer service agent) say they are facing techinal problem but my almost 110 has been deducted. Intially my balance was some 95 rs and it became 35 and then it became 0.9.Today morning i recharged with rs 10 but again they deducted all.And even they are not taking my complaint.

                                  I have recharged my 2 mobile numbers [protected] and [protected] on 16 January 2013 with Rupee of 74. On the website the plan is showing (180days validity,10p/m R-R,25p/m L-L,10p/sms,1GB data/month etc.). But I have got another plan. I have received message of only 90days validity and all the call rates are different. I have talked to customer care executive he told the plan has been updated but I have recharged from relience website and reviewed plan before recharge. there was showing the plan that i mentioned(180days validity,10p/m R-R,25p/m L-L,10p/sms,1GB data/month etc.) Its not my fault if you don't update your website. I need only the plan that i choose yesterday.

                                      Reliance Communication — wrong commitment

                                      Dear sir

                                      Almost a month ago we had bought 9 corporate mobile connection, one data card & one landline connection of Reliance communication. At that time Reliance representative committed the following facilities in 225 Plan. Their commitments are as follows:
                                      1. Mobile Activation charges 100 Rs.
                                      2. No clip Charges
                                      3. Free CUG activation
                                      4. Free call conferencing facility.
                                      5. Free talk time of 100 Rs local + STD
                                      6. Free 333 SMS local +STD
                                      7. Call rate R to R local: 10 Ps
                                      8. Call rate R to other mobile: 30 Ps
                                      9. Call rate R to any landline: 80 Ps
                                      10. Std call : 1.25 Ps
                                      11. Top up for Std charges reduction: 49 Rs
                                      12. After top up STD rate will be 50 Ps.
                                      They were also promised to give us following documents:
                                      1. List of the phone numbers with the facility & bill Plan provided
                                      2. Bill for the sets
                                      3. A letter of Authority in which reliance will provide us a representative to whom we will concern for future problems.
                                      4. Validity of the plans

                                      But till now landline connection is not activated, no document or bills provided, even after getting the verification call from Reliance communication we came to now that most of the committed was wrong. no such type of facilities under 225 Plan.

                                      We are continuously calling or mailing to Reliance representatives:
                                      Mr. Durga prasad (1st person to whom we brought connection) [protected], Mr. Naresh Bardwaj (Sr. Associate Manager, [protected], ) Mr. Dirvesh [protected], now no one attend our call.

                                      We also mail our problem at: prashant.p.[protected]@relianceada.com & Neeraj.[protected]@relianceada.com.

                                      But does not get any satisfactory reply.

                                      It’s very bad to say about the customer service of Reliance Infocome for my new connections. I'm a idea CDMA user .
                                      I have requested for change network idea to reliance .
                                      I had already given all documents and 250/- Rs. to your executive on 11.01.13
                                      Previous upc no. is expired so I generated new upc no. and this is ID478268 .
                                      I am trying to call or contact with BKS RETAIL PVT. LTD. Authorized DSA of reliance, Add 203, Plot no. 3, palam Kunj, sector-7 Dwarka, new delhi-110075.
                                      but when i called for followup of my issue, no one was responding me.
                                      I have spoke to customer care people but those people way of talking is not good.
                                      I hope some consideration from Reliance Company over this so looking for your positive response, because my upc no. will be expire on 24.02.13 .

                                      I felt very strange that Reliance have such employees who do not know about customer service.

                                        I had activated a SMS pack on my mobile number on 2-december-2012, which allowed me to send SMS's @ 1p/sms across India. On 2-january-2013 Rs39 was deducted from my account and I was told that this is an auto-renewal pack. On 17- January-2013 again Rs39 was deducted from my account. Upon calling the customer care on *333 my call was attended by a Mr Noor Zaman. He confirmed that this was a monthly auto-renewal pack and that it was renewed on 2-1-2013, but tht he could not refund the amount. I asked him to place the call to his superviser. His superviser did not listen to my problem and just disconnocted the call. Again I dialled for the second time and again was attended by Mr Noor Zaman. This time also he transferred the call but none of the supervisers picked up the call. I stayed online for about 5 minutes.
                                        This a an abuse of power nby the telecome company.
