Dear Team,
My broadband was not working continuously for the past one month.
I have made few Complaints in Customer care and escalated this to RCom Appellate Authority level.
Still I didn’t get my broadband connection working.

This problem would not happened if proper cables would have been provided.
They just tied up the cables in nearby "trees" and bring it down to my home which is the root cause for all these problems. They don’t have a proper post's for cabling.

A same kind of problem happened 4 months back and the connection was restored only after by giving 37 complaints in span of 3 months.

    Hello - I am a Reliance Netconnect Postpaid subscriber from August 2010 (data card number: [protected]). The last couple of months (November 2010 onwards) there is a problem with poor speed. Most of the time during day, the speed is less than the minimum which should be provided for broadband. It is practically that of dial up connection or less.

    Only at odd hours, say 6am in the morning or 12am in the night when the whole world is probably sleeping, is the speed close to the broadband minimum. I raised many complaints thru customer care (see details below), each time i was told there is a problem in your area and it will get fixed in two weeks.

    There were other calls made to customer care which were not acknowledged; the above tickets should be in Reliance database, so they can't dispute them.

    I checked with colleagues and friends in other places of Hyderabad, they too are facing the same problem. Some even terminated their connections. I think Reliance Netconnect is a joke being played by Reliance where the customer is being royally taken for a ride. I mean for a 2mbps connection, if you get dial up speed or less this is a joke, unfortunately Reliance is laughing all the way to the bank with this FRAUD. It is indeed a fraud.

    Now they have disconnected by account saying i have exceeded my credit limit which is the last straw for me. I would suggest to people to stay away from Reliance Netconnect, they can't even provide minimum broadband speed of 256 KBPS forget what they claim in the ads to be the fastest net provider!!!

    I have same complaint with Reliance net connect. I too facing the same issue from November 2010. I have been calling they are just generating ticket number but no one is able to solve the issue. Once they also waived back my amount for a month due to poor signal strenth in Area of Tolichowki. But it was not at resolve till jan 2011. Then i have disconnect the service.
    Irony is all written over Reliance services, as it is the most unreliable service I have ever used. I guess they are best only to work through shady mechanism to get the spectrum. I have used Reliance Netconnect+ and was so pissed up with the speed fluctuations, very low bandwidth and crap customer support.

    The last straw for me, was I saw repeatedly that whenever the network would fails, their Customer Care number was non-contactable. What a CRAP Service.. its is a SHAM.

    I moved over to Tata and am very happy there.

    Guess what one of my friend uses BSNL and it works much better that Reliance. Now we always complain about government backed businesses not doing well... here is a clear explain that a Corporate can do a much messier work.. LOL

      Dear Sir,
      I am user of Reliance CDMA Mobile, no is [protected] from long time. Today morning (8.03.2011) when I woke up, saw a message that my mobile balance is too low (Rs. 1.73). Then I called to customer care on 198 and inquired about the my bill deduction, I have been told that a service has been activated in my mobile no so called Movie Subscription. But he was unable to give that who has activated this service, while I never activated or requested any such subscription.
      It happen in past also, when co. activated Missed call Alert on my this no. without my permission or request.
      I again called in customer care and talked with Senior Executive Mr. Vikas, but he also not given any satisfactory answer.

      This is my request that TRAI should take serious action on such activities of mobile company and I want my balance return on my number as well.

      Reliance — Activation of scheme without my permission

      Respected Sir,

      I have Reliance GSM Card in my Nokia phone. In this card unneccessary scheme was activated without my permission on the date 13/01/2011. And Becuse of this my balandce was reduced to the -8.52 Rs. So pls register my complaint and give me the solution of this type of problem and if possible then pls discard this scheme from the card and get back me my reduced balance.

          RCOM rejecting my MNP application 6 times
          I am using rcom no [protected](u.p east) for the last 5 yrs . And i want to change my mobile operator Through mobile number portability from rcom to Vodafone And i went to VODAFONE show room and i submit my id proof and porting charges.

          But i receive a message from VODAFONE that Rcom mobile operator reject your porting . Because of bill due. Actually in my case there is no due outstanding with Rcom postpaid connection. they are simply delaying my complaint saying so many times. Actually MNP is a customer right. but here rcom is denying that right for me.

          I am planning to file a complaint in consumer court for compensation.

          I contacted my rcom customer care & nodal officer about this issue no one has respondig . Please. Help me sir

              Dear Sir,

              I have bought one reliance SIM with mobile no [protected].
              The SIM card no/ICCID no is[protected] .

              it was working well but suddenly ON 17/11/2012 one message came to me that
              SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAIL. After that I tried reliance distributor from my region i.e. ARCOT, Tamil Nadu. He asked my address proof
              Despite submitting the same while taking the no. I gave him my address proof again and was told that it will start within a week . But it never happened.
              When I called on 20/12/2012 to the distributor of ARCOT region, Tamil Nadu, he asked for SIM card serial no/ICCID no.
              I gave the no to him and was told that it will be activated within 24 hours but its already more than 50 hrs and no action has been taken.

              I am struggling fpr the last one month to get no started but in vain. so kindly intervene and help in activating the no.

                i requested DOCOMO to give me services as i wanted to shift from RELIANCE GSM , and when DOCOMO dealers sent request to RIM GSM , they replied that they have called me and settled my dispute and i dont want to switch to DOCOMO,
                but this was the fake answer given by them as i didn't received any such call ..
                and they have failed 2 times the request from DOCOMO...

                Reliance Mobile — Reliance mobile no portability

                Hello customers,
                please don't change the your mobile no with reliance network , i had bitter experiance while entering from Airtel to Reliance mobile network. I have submitted the request for mobile no([protected]) portablity to Reliance web world so far no clue and my number was temp out of service because Airtel have processed the request in four days and disconnected my number from their network -one part of the process was completed but the reliance network people are saying that some technical issue and it takes 48hrs so on almost 4days was over but no service to my mobile no and they asked to walk to webworld and went and called so many times still no clue whether i can get my same in reliance network? My no is almost four days out service and improvement in resolving the issue. they were technically unfit for resolving the issue.

                i'm waiting long way to go...........................

                I had submitted a port in request to airtel from my reliance GSM. After 6 days my airtel sim was active. However its been almost two weeks and my reliance sim is also active. When i recharge my account from my icici bank account the amount got added to my reliance account and not to my new airtel account.

                Can you please look into this issue and resolve this as early as possible.

                My name is Ankit Arora. I applied for porting from Reliance GSM to IDEA prepaid for my number ([protected]) on 21st january 2011 and till date (3rd feb) no porting has been done. whenever i call Idea customer care they say it will be done in few days bt no luck.
                The Idea care personel has no idea why this is happening. Plz help and let me know wht to do now..

                I had given the request for Mob. NO. portability to my existing service provider reliance GSM for Plrtability out & get in to Vodafone , I had submitted all required documents also to vodafone , they had forwarded to reliance , but it doesnt work , as reliance People saying that they had not recd. any informations for the same . voda is saying ur request is rejected as of reliance .

                Reliance Communication — Mobile number porting

                sir,
                Last 7 years i am using Reliance mobile(CDMA) no:[protected],postpaid.I have applied for number porting on 23th-Jan,2011. i got porting request code number and i have applied for bsnl 3G connection to which i would like to change.

                I got BSNL 3G sim,but till my sim not activated as reliance not disconnected my service.

                Till date i have paid all my dues. My monthly usage is around Rs.200 -250 for last one year, but to my surpraise this month my unbilled usage is around Rs.1800( i have found in rcom website).On contacting custumer care they are telling billing details can be disclosed after bill genaration only.


                It seems to be they intentionally charging more to my bill, as i am leaving their networking.

                Till date they did't accepted my number porting request.

                Please do justice regarding my mobile number porting and unfair billing

According to rules or conditions provided by Government, this service should be activated in 7 days from the day of application of this service.But still my MNP is not done.Whenever I go in the Reliance center to know my status, I always get only one reply the process is still on still it will take 2 to 3 days.Now I am pissed off with this, I don't know what should I do.Please help me with this.

                my airtel sim got blocked on 5th feb n i even got a confirmation sms from reliance for the process.
                but till today my new sim has not activated.
                i even visited the reliance web world twice but the ppl over their have no answer for my problem. m very much disappointed by their behaviour n procedure.

                As I was using RELIANCE cdma, I gave the request For MNP on 20th January,2011 for the same provider i.e. from CDMA to GSM. But I am very disappointed that they still could not do so. Even RELIANCE has stopped my Incoming by the grace of PROCESS is being resolved. Every time I make the complaint they take it as request and say to me that it will be resolved within 24 hrs. Where are that 24 hrs. is going to end is out of my understanding.

                Reliance Mobile Service — against mobile no. portability

                i have mobile network of MTNL. My no. is [protected].
                As mobile no. portability has come, i have applied with all necessary documents at reliance office on dated 30th January 2011, whichis located at kandivli west, near jain temple, S.V. road, Parag nagar.
                They have charged me Rs.59/- for sim card and service charge and suggest for make nil balance in your previous network.But till date they have not done any process and telecoms request they are not gave perfect reason. Further telecoms with them on 25th fabruary they ask me for further submission of documents.

                Reliance Mobile — Mobile No Portability

                Its been more than 25 days now when I had applied for the MNP and its been the worst experience so far.

                I had placed a request to convert my Airtel No [protected] (Porting ID AD211263) into reliance on 6th of Feb at the Reliance Outlet at Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. The SIM No issued to me is[protected]-8608.

                Customer care at *333 has no information at all so I had sent an email to both Nodal Office and Relianceada on 17th but to no avail as the problem is not resolved so far. The worst part being no one has any update regarding the problem. On all the occasions I was only told to wait for 2-3 days and was also told that the customer care will contact me but so far I have not heard back from them on the issue.

                I dont know why Reliance people are offering the MNP feature when they cant even handle the applications.

                I am currently using reliance CDMA connection from last 4 months (approx.) and i had given request for MNP on 15 feb.,2011 as i want to transfer my no. to Airtel. As per TRAI guidelines it is 7 days(max.) process for MNP, but after so many days my request is in process(as told by reliance customer care executive). When i contacted to Airtel then i came to know that my request has been rejected by Reliance Communications due to wrong DNO(Donor Number Operator). Then again i gave request for MNP and again Reliance Communications rejected it due to wrong DNO. Actually, Reliance Communications is finding excuses to reject MNP requests, because they does not want to loose customers. So i want you to take appropriate action against them to solve my problem.

                Reliance Communications — MNP Porting - Pending since 2 months

                I had applied for the Mobile Number Portability from CDMA Postpaid to GSM Prepaid on January 22nd, 2011.
                The Reliance guys(concerned persons) had intimated that it will be done in 7 days. After 7 days I received messages that I can start using my GSM sim and the same is activated now.

                But unfortunately, nothing was working on the sim. But, the sim did display the Network. Both my CDMA and GSM sims are display the reliance network.
                I can make outgoing through my CDMA sim but receive no incoming

                Now after innumerable complaints and calls to the Reliance Customer Care guys my incoming was activated on 17th Feb, 2011.

                After this I visited a Reliance Webworld to get my phone recharged. But there the Customer Care guys told me that my number is still in CDMA network and they cannot recharge it until the same
                is converted to a GSM network. Same thing was conveyed to me when I called the Customer Care guys.

                I make outgoing calls using my CDMA sim while incoming is received through my GSM sim. Mind you both are the same numbers.

                I had placed a complaint regarding this issue on the 20th Feb,2011. I was intimated that my issue will be resolved in 4 days but after 4 days I do not see any change. My complaint was even closed in the System.

                All this while I have faced a lot of issues.

                It is completely an unprofessional attitude from the Reliance guys. Even after around 2 months since I had applied for MNP, I have not been able to use my phone services properly.

                Can anyone please act on it. Please simply let me know if you guys are unable to fix this issue, so that I can take up another service.
                Kudos to me that I have ample amount of patience to stay with RCOM even then.

                Could you please act on this asap. Innumerable warnings have done no good till now. But it is high time that you stop playing with someone's patience.
                It seems that NO ONE CARES the inconvenience caused to your Customer. And it seems RCOM people just do not like to work.

                After lodging a complaint in Indian Consumer Complaints Forum on 08th march, 2011 regadring MNP and i got a call from Reliance Communications on the next day assuring that my problem will be solved within 72 hours (request no.[protected], but after 3 days i came to know that my request has been closed stating that i have to submit my documents to Reliance Web World. Then i called Nodal Officer of Reliance[protected] and spoke to Mr. Gaurav and Mr. Gulshan and they both said that i dont need to submit any documents to Reliance Web World and there is no problem from Reliance's end and my request is inprocess and the pendency is from MCH's end. Then i spoke to Airtel's senior authorities and they reverted me that my request is rejected by Reliance Communications due to wrong DNO. They also told me that if the pendency would have been from MCH's end then they would have got an intimation from MCH's end. Acc. to Airtel the problem is with Reliance's end because they have rejected my request for MNP. Nobody knows the right procedure for MNP in Reliance Communications. Each customer care executive of Reliance Communications speaks different ways for MNP( i have got voice recording of my each call with customer care executive of Reliance Communications to prove) and the customer is being misguided by them. Kindly help me in resolving my problem.

                I also submited required documents, on 18th March 2011 my airtel no. Changed into reliance but on 29th March 2011 my no. Was barred by reliance & when I asked customer care, they told that ur id proof is not received. Then I submitted my documents again at reliance outlet but my no. Is still barred.                 Firstly i would like to share that Reliance (GSM) is the worst in mobile networks.
                1.No network coverage.
                2.Most of the times call drops.
                3.Deductions of balance by activating unwanted offers.
                4.Poor voice clarity.
                5.Out of coverage area.& so on..........

                Now i want to use Mobile Number Portability to get out of this WORST network but these people have done something to my mobile number that after attempting a lot of times i'm unable to send message to the no.-1900
                to get the code for portability whereas messages to other numbers are going.

                I (Rahul gupta) was reqested for mobile number Portability for my reliance no [protected] about 2 months ago then reliance called me and reqested me for not changing the network and promised for gave me free calling reliance to reliance local and std for 5 months but i did not get any offer. I complained for this but there were no resolution for this complaint..
                Plz plz plz resolve my complaint...

                Reliance Communication/Webworld — Mobile Portability

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                I have a Reliance mobile no. for the past 6-7 years. Due to poor services, I had opted for mobile portability to Vodafone. But I had to undergo a lot of hassle due to Reliance people, and the end result was that my no. got disconnected from their side, but the service provider didn't change. Upon inquiry with Vodafone, it was found that the problem was from Reliance's end. Due to some technical issues from their(Reliance) end, they are still not handing over the number to Vodafone. I have paid all my dues, but still the problem remains at hand.
                My sincere request to you is that you please look into the matter, as that no. is my official no. and my work is getting badly affected due to it.

                Frustrated PORTING Process form Reliance to Airtel.


                I have been trying to port from reliance to airtel for the past month, but inspite of giving UPC porting code several times, reliance is not able to complete the process(i think they don't do it for even prepaid nos).When u ask for the status the customer care(the stupidest i have ever seen) will tell u its in processing and after a long wait..they will tell u porting code has expires.pls provide a new one.

                AGAIN U have start from first.

                The most funniest thing is i have been told to contact airtel customer care even without processing from their side.Rel..pls give training to ur customer care to explain what is an MNP atleast?

                Now i plan to switch to new number instead of porting.I dunno how porting happens with other service providers...

                From last 1 and half month I am trying to switch of mobile no into airtel but each time my request is cancelled by reliance.I already Deactivate DND service.But its activated automatically without any request by my end.Currently my dnd service is deactivated and I received message from airtel that my request is in process.But now my request is rejected duo to wrong DNO.I visit reliance Customer care several time in Sector 12 Noida but no action is taken by them.I have also sent mail at RCOMNodalOfficer.[protected]@relianceada.com.But no action is taken by them also.


                Please solve my problem as soon as possible.Waiting for your reply.

                Hi,

                I have requested MNP to Airtel on 23/07/2011 from Reliance CDMA post paid.

                As per instructions I paid my current dues to reliance & I got the porting request confirmation from Airtel, within fourdays of subbmitting the request.

                I am waiting since last 9 days, as my MNP has not happened yet & no operator are in a postion to update me the status.

                I recently placed a request in Reliance to port from MTS to Reliance CDMA on 30/11/2011. My service from MTS was unactivated on 2/12/2011 but till today i.e. 11/12/2011 my number is not activated in reliance.                   For no (1) caller tune has been deactivated but balance not yet been refunded which was deducted with out any prior intimatin.

                  For no (2) Caller tune & cricket news is running, no action has been taken against my complain.

                      even my balance is deducted more than 100 rupees..n in this month this is the 4th time they have deducted my balance without giving any notice...this proves Reliance is just a fraud...n am really fed up with this...going to change my sim card soon

                      Reliance GSM — Unnecessary services getting activated

                      Since last 4 months I am facing a tough time with reliance GSM service. Everytime I recharge, my balance gets deducted due to some stupid service getting activated.

                      The company would be having my details where in they have waived off my balance accepting that the service got started by mistake. But this continues to happen. Again my balance got deducted by 15 RS saying that some wallpaper has got changed through some stupid R One service.

                      I have got fed up every day calling customer care, receive some stupid deactivation options from them without any waive off. This is the last time I am writing in this forum as surely I will not recharge this stupid gsm service henceforth as after a resolution to this, this will keep happening testing on my nerve again.

I was trying to call them but they're not picking up the phone. Then I went to a reliance shop to get the device activated, they said they couldnot activate it because my details are not updated in system. Then I called reliance customer care to find whether there is any other way to activate it, the customer care guy logged a complaint on behalf of me and said they'd get back to me after 2 days. Thats ok, atleast better than losing my money, though i dont know whether I'll get the service or get the money back or nothing.

                          Yes, even I am currently facing this same problem I have taken this data card month ago and submited my docs, but still the device is not activated.

                            from vodafone to reliance gsm since 20/02/2011 my request no. is
                            VR281757, I received a sms at 25/2/2011 from RELINCE side that was-
                            ‘Dear customer your new sim is read foractivation. Pls insert the new
                            sim by 11:00 PM –12:00 AM, reliance. But my number is barred up to
                            till time. When I contacted at *333 they replied that my documents is
                            not deposited and advised to contact with dealer, dealer replied that
                            documents are submitted so please contact at customer care. So please
                            tell me that what should I do where as my number is blocked from

                                An amount of Rs 51 has been cut twice for 'MBBP51' on my prepaid card for GSM phone number [protected] although I had never subscribed for it. When it happened for the 1st time, I immediately had a talk with Rcom call centre & had the subscription cancelled with immediate effect. Refund was refused. But Rs 51 was debited again at 01.09 am on 13Feb2011 as renewal towards 'MBBP51' even though the basic subscription was cancelled and the fact confirmed in writing vide email by Rcom. This has been happening after every 15 Days - an attempt is made once in every 15 days to cut Rs 51/- from my balance. But they are unsuccessful as I keep the balance below that amount. A complaint to the Nodal Officer & Rcomappellate authority has fallen on deaf years.
                                What do I do now.

                                Reliance GSM is not at all catering to its customer's needs. Even I was also deducte twice for Rs 51 from my balance. I cancelled the plan on first occassion but again it was deducted for the second time.I called Customer Care several times but failed. Now I am really frustrated and I have opted for Number Portability. Thank God atlast I am rid of this weired service.

                                Reliance GSM will soon meet its doom if it continues to do these kinds of acts.

                                    I am Jatin Gupta. I have a reliance net connect broadband + data card. My data card tarrif plan is Platinum +. That is i can surf and download unlimited but the speed of 3.1 mbps is till 15gb, after 15 gb it is 144 kbps. I am using my data card since 2 years and i haven't got any complaint yet but a few days back my data card speed is not going beyond 25-30 kbps and it disconnects frequently. I have called up the help desk of reliance and they said that their is some network issue and it will recover within few hours. I have called up around 10 times and their reply was the same. I am having many problems with this low speed. I can't even surf properly. I have also checked the signal connectivity of my area and it is absolutely perfect. I have checked on a reliance phone only and the signal bars are full but when i check on my data card sometimes the signal bars are full but the speed isn't the full. Please i hope your team will work on my issue soon.

                                      My mobile reliance smart gsm no-[protected] was automatically activated rp jokes and my balance also deducted by co.To cancel the same i contact several times to customer care but failed.Always i get the answer that this line was busy.After getting the same answer several time,i send message to 1900 writing PORT.But i am surprised that message sending also failed several times.
