My renault duster's brake pedal jammed while driving in highway near to pondicherry and was not able to apply brake. Luckily managed to stop the car immediately & noticed smoke from bonnet. When opened the bonnet, a mat kind of car part was on fire inside; we put out the fire & the car was towed to nearest service centre in pondy.

The service advisor explained that the part which caught fire was firewall mat which stops engine...
