this is my second complaint for the same axle problem mentioned at October 9, 2009, earlier complaint :

I would like to throw some light on the pains that I have, and still am going through, after buying a brand new Mahindra Logan GLX 1.4 (petrol) (which is under warranty). Before I proceed futher, request you to please note that a customer(me) has taken efforts in trying to get this issue raised to someone so that no one else experiences it further.

Since then the axle has broken while driving thrice every second month after replacement from the service station.

Unfortunately the inexperienced staff couldn't resolve the root problem and just kept changing the axle. Since last 2 months the car is at the Silver jubliee hadapsar service station for the same purpose.

At first they tried to convince that there is physical impact which caused the axle breakdown 3rd time. Where there wasn't any impact which even the insurance people didn't agree at first. they suggested to change the complete suspension which will resolve the axle problem which included ( balance rod, right shock absorbers, ti rod end, etc.) after replacement on the trial at their service station by the service guy the right axle broke again.

Till date they are experimenting on the vehicle with every single option they can. The car was left at the service station around 25th January 2010.
Still the problem persists with no solution.

If the car problems cannot be resolved does the company provide any solution?

If its under warranty and non-repairable by the company why should the customer suffer, the car should be replaced if they don't have the expertise to service it right.

    Dear Satya

    Please don't mine but You sounds like advertisement agency person ( I have check your previous update, that's why I am telling you. Anyways that's your job why should I comment on this. ) but for the interest of other people I am updating here that there is no worth for spending money and time with Mahindra Renault product because of following reasons :

    1. what is the future of Logan after this happens.? refer ET Articles

    So what ever price and value addition activities they are doing, is for clearing the stock so that this company will bear a minimum loss and after that both the partner of this JV will say bye to each other.

    End Results: Customer will suffer because he will get the spare parts at higher price.

    2. Re Sell Value : Re sell value of this car is nothing ?
    I have tried to re sell but not getting any value, so if a customer will buy he will face not only difficulty in maintaining it but in selling also. So one should not buy this.

    3. Looks : The looks of this car is criticized by a lot of auto experts from day one. In looks it looks like a old generation car which companies use to produce till 90. So no fun in investing it.

    4. Fashion: These days if you look up all the companies are making their models into curving style and crystals lights while Logan is still on the same days back trends. In fact Mahindra is continuously working on these ground on it's existing model but they had not done in logan, I think it was just for saving the cost.

    5. Value : As this was mention at the time of launching this product in India, Indian company has produce it at lower cost in comparison to French company. But actually that was not an achievement it was the value which they had cut from this car, that's why launching of logan was not a big show here in India.

    6. Service : Mahindra have very poor service record . So I don't think there is a fun of buying the automobile product any company who is poor in service, because these days all the Automobile products are coming with a lot technology enable system and with these kind of product you can not go to with any road side mech., In fact these days people even don't prefer to do so.

    7. Power steering : Power steering is very hard, specially in case of you are Hyundai lover.

    8. Poor Service Network : You could get a problem in car any where because of any reason, that's why you prefer a car which have a wide service network. If you look up to Mahindra from Delhi to Lucknow there are 10 dist. and they have only one service center, so please forget that they will come there to help you, which they really can, but who will serve to a customer ? " AS USUAL SAME OLD INDIAN APPROACH ! "

    9. Previous Client Segment : If you recall your history, than you will find 10 years back very hardly any one use to buy any product from Mahindra or If will really segment it before Mahindra Bolero, you would find very hardly any urban people who was owning a Mahindra's Products and still they don't have that kind of capabilities and skill that they serve to that segment.

    10. Old Track Record: If you check Mahindra past sales record you will find it that maximum of their sale was for government sector, and all o[censored]s know what is criteria for any government buying ? They had develop their capabilities and skills to serve to cater only that segment not for the common people .

    11. Current PR Exercise : Last but not the least , if you look up the current pr exercise of this company which they are doing right now. There are two channels which are currently running auto reviews from that in one they are doing a lot of BTL & ATL exercise just to avoid negative vibes of market.

    But reality is this, that finally customer is suffering because of both of them and I had spend this time just because I just want to aware to other people so that they will not suffer and buy a right product. I am not big enough that I will give any quote to this company, they will get their destiny by own, my responsibility is towards this society which I am full filling by making aware to others.

    Sorry dear instead of telling my entire experience I had X- ray them but should be very frank now I really don't want to tell any things to Mahindra Renault Ear plug ( Customer Care Department ). So just sharing the crisp of the problem to others.

    Very very poor and unsatisfactory service. Though Iam from Bengaluru your authorised service centre known by name of S.K.S service in south Bangalore says that a spare part for a Power Steering for a.
    LOGAN (petrol) will be available only after 25 days though the vehicle has hardly run .

      This mail is fake there is no such company. I dont know what the purpose behind this mail. I along with others so many got this mail asking for resume and thn similar kind of stuff
      Yes i have received same email.Do not trust.
      The male is fake, do not believe do not send any resume and any application for Visa do not share passport number, bank details and others,

      Recruiter and visa providers are all same and one, when you send application for Visa, they will promptly ask for processing charges, you will never get visa and end up in Loosing money.

      Please do not entertain any lottery winning announcers or any jobs recruiters or who send mails without any proper identity.

      For any abroad Job, they will directly call you or route you with any Indian consultancy if they really know you.

        Dear Sir,

        This mail is in regard with my vehicle Mahindra Renault Logan registration no. DL4CNB2243 registered at Delhi purchased from Sri Durga Automobiles, Rama Road, New Delhi on 17.09.2007.

        I am very sorry to inform you that this vehicle was not upto the mark since the date of purchase. After running it for around 30,000 Kms the car started facing the problem of Engine Oil Consumption. On every[protected] kms, I have to pour 2 Litres of Engine Oil in the Car.

        Since then I am regularly pressurizing about this problem to Koncept Automobiles, Okhla as my car was in Warranty period but by way or other and by doing Engine Consuption check they were making me fool like anything and saying that the problem has been resolved.

        After all this we complained this problem to Mahindra and on the request to the company Head overhauling was done by Koncept Automobiles, Okhla. As the car ran 60,000 kms during that period, so according to the policy of Mahindra (as told by Koncept) major servicing was done and except the Head Overhauling charges they billed us for Rs. 14,275/- and car was given to us in 15 days.

        I wanted to tell you that the car was mishandled very badly during that period. When we received the car after 15 days, we saw that Bonnet of the Car was repainted from front along with that some touching was done. Also the condenser of car has been damaged. It looks like they have put the rod on condenser to pull out the Engine.
        Inspite of major service we took back the car to the workshop after 3-4 days with the problem of too much noise in the car. After checking the car they informed us that the Bearing needs to be changed and it will cost you Rs. 4000/- approximately. After all this the problem got fixed and for that they charged us the bill of Rs. 3810/-.
        While taking the delivery of the car I told the Manager of Kocept Automobiles Mr. Pradeep that the Bonnet of the car looks like repaired and repainted and doesn’t look like in the condition in which it was given. I also informed about the condenser situation. Then he busted at us and told that apart from doing the Engine work free of cost to keep up the reputation of the company, you are unnecessary reprimanding us. He ordered the executives to throw off the car out of the workshop and told us not to bring the car over here for oil change after 1000 kms. After uttering all this he vanished away from there.

        As of now the situation of my car has worsened and as it has already ran 1000 kms still it is consuming lot of oil and the problem has not been fixed.
        Now we are hesitating to take the car back to Koncept Automobiles after bearing this entire dilemma. After reading all the facts I request you to lodge our complaint and get our car exchanged or get my car rectified in the condition in which it was earlier. I request you to get it done under warranty and also give direction to the company to provide us with the monetary claim for the harassment caused to us.
        Awaiting your earliest intervention and judicial decision on this matter.

          I purchased model 1 Scorpio DX7 on 9th July, 08 from an authorized dealer Mahindra Snow View Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., Main Highway, Ghora Chowki, Shimla 171005.

          1. It was just after one week purchase of the vehicle that it gave a engine check sign and was taken to an authorized dealers namely, Mahindra Snowview Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., Shimla for repairs and they cleaned the diesel filter.and declared it fit
          2. After a period of another week, this vehicle again gave a engine check sign and again taken to the above agency for repairs and they replaced the diesel filter.
          3. Again, i.e. on 30th July, 09, this vehicle got engine check sign and it was again taken to agency, namely, Balak Automobiles, Ludhiana for repairs and again declared fit.
          4. It is only after 5 days later, i.e. on 5th August, 09 that this vehicle without any kind of accident caught fire all of sudden in the engine while driving on the G.T. road. The vehicle was towed nearby Balak Automobiles, Ludhiana who are authorized dealer of your company.
          5. In this accident, the vehicle was so badly damaged that insurance and the company paid a sum of Rs. 1, 89, 288 as the repair cost.
          6. Since the damage to the vehicle and repair amount was so high that it remained with the Balak Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. for a period of more than six weeks. During this period, I had to hire a taxi as a substitute to this vehicle and paid heavy rentals thus causing great financial loss and inconvenience.
          7. Now again on 24th December, 09, all of sudden vehicle got engine check signal and three minutes later, smoke started coming out from engine chamber and there was also electric sparkling. Again, the vehicle was taken to agency Snowview Automobile in Shimla where now it was lying there for repair.
          8. I may also add that after every 5000 km, servicing of this vehicle is being done by above named authorized agencies, it is fully insured and is very much under warranty period as it has travelled only about 33, 000 km.
          9. Before purchasing this vehicle, I was warned by different sources that this model has manufacturing defects which may become cause of fire. However, as per assurances of authorized dealer in Shimla and having great international reputation of the company, I ignored these warnings which I now feel was a blunder on my part.
          10. You can kindly very well imagine the financial loss, life risk and inconvenience which is being caused to me due to frequent breakdown of this vehicle. It is very bad reflection on the quality of this product which your internationally reputed company is producing at the cost of the loss of your reputation.

          It is now established beyond doubt that above mentioned vehicle purchased by me is having serious manufacturing defect which is evidenced by the above mentioned facts.

          I had lodged a complaint regarding a manufacturing defect in Mahindra Scorpio CRDe, 2008 model. Hence after various efforts from my side and the company in 2010, the agency Mahindra Snowview Shimla finally decided to revamp my vehicle to the best of its quality by replacing all the damaged parts and assuring me by providing an extended 6 month free warranty, now its running good so far, it has been more than 70K on the meter since the mishappeningings occured, and more than 4 years and its running fine. Fingers Crossed ! LOL ! Now im like nothing else will do ! AMEN !!!

          Mahindra Scorpio has a serious safety issue. The wiring under the dashboard, just near the steering wheel caught fire.
          The vehicle is only ONE WEEK OLD. It has NOT BEEN TOUCHED BY ANY NON-MAHINDRA MECHANIC so far. It has been driven only on city roads and thick smoke started coming from under the steering.

          To all this agony, Mahindra's response is not to replace the vehicle but just replace the wiring. BUT, even after thorough examination Mahindra was unable to determine the cause of the fire. HOW WOULD CHANGING THE WIRING ENSURE CUSTOMER's SAFETY ?

          Save yourself, stay away from Mahindra Scorpio

            Dear Sir



            This refers to my credit history with serial number[protected]my total details are given at the end of the email). In the subject report I have been rated wrongly in terms of my credit history because of defaulting credit cards & home loans. Please note that I have no over dues on credit cards or any home loans other than one disputed home loan on IDBI for merely Rs 63700.00( sixty three thousand & seven hundred only) for which I am not at all responsible as my so many requests to IDBI for regularizing the same has gone un heard by bank.



            Please note that I have two loan accounts with the IDBI bank. The loan amount for the a/c no. [protected](Loan1) was 10,46,700/- & for a/c no [protected](loan2) was 63700/-.

            There are no issues with Loan 1 hence I am not describing any details about that. I am giving details for the loan account 2





            I had applied for the loan of Rs 2,00,000 on 30th of June 2005. The loan amount was sanctioned & I was disbursed as first installment of Rs 63700/- on on 18th July 2005 & pre EMI was started by PDC cheques. As there was no further demand from the builder, hence I informed IDBI bank (jhandewalan branch) on 21st Feb 2006 to restrict the loan amount & start my EMI & stop pre EMI. The above request was not honored by IDBI bank & I send reminders again on following dates

            26.04 2006-To Jhandewalan branch in Delhi by post

            24.08.2006-To Elamach Building, Andheri East-Mumbai by post

            24.08.2006-To ElamachBuilding, Andheri East-Mumbai by Fax

            25.08.2006- To Elamach Building, Andheri East-Mumbai by E mail

            20.01.2009 to collection centre by email

            Copies of all such communications are attached in this letter.(scanned)

            All above requests went unanswered & the loan amount was never restricted & no EMI was fixed for the disbursed loan amount.

            After that I moved out from Delhi. I visited IDBI head office in Mumbai & met Mr Manivannan & gave request to him for starting the ECS on both the loan accounts. I gave all the required documents for both the accounts so that ECS can be started. Same saving account was given for ECS for both the loan accounts.

            To me surprise the ECS started for only one loan account i.e. Loan1 & for Loan2 no ECS has started till now & even the loan amount is not restricted. In the absence of this ECS there is an outstanding piling up in my account & I have not been sent any reminders to my permanent address also. However few weeks before I got a call that my cheques have expired & I need to pay more cheques to start the EMI on Rs 200000. The 200000 was never disbursed hence EMI can not be paid on that.

            Also during recent conversation with bank I have asked them that I am ready to pay the entire amount of 63700.00 in one go for which also there is no response till date.



            However banks has declared me as doubtfull for bank loans under your CIBIL account which is wrong full on there account. Hence based on above explanation & proofs I request you to clear my name so that my credit history is maintained properly. With a separate letter I have sent request to DIBI also to give clarification on the same

              Being Indian I was proud to buy a indian made 4 WD in dubai from Galdary Automobile but the kind of service which I get from the dealer is pothetic, if you take your car for any small problem they will say the parts are not available & they will take 15 to 20 days & charge huge amounts so what we are suppose to do?

              I had one and am proud of it. Though "she" left me in an accident, never gave me any trouble.
              A good performar in the deset and other off- road conditions. I have a huge collection of its videos, .

              and about charges, you may pls compare charges with any other SUV's. you will find this too cheap.

              Very true the manufacturare should take back the vehicle if he cannot provide parts. its just 9 year if they cannot provide parts then why the cheat the consumers. I'm too suffering a huge loss because of this. Or they should officially declare or when someone is buying used petrol version then they should make him aware of this through RTO

                Logan lacks sufficient service centers. The Quality of showrooms/service centers and the services rendered are not so good .Imagine no Ac in their Service center and showroom at G3 motors Malad and the service centre office is in a basement. They even refused to me show their workshop. Can you imagine that the Dealer(Sahil Motors-Andheri West -also known as GMS) from whom I bought my Car in MUmbai closed own in 6 months time without any info. and closed all its contact means. They carried out a shoddy job of anti rust treatment and after their closure Mahindra and other dealers expressed their helplessness in the matter. can you imagine that this dealer took the Cheque for the extended warranty and never remitted the amount to Mahindra and no certificate for the same was issued to me for months and I had to literally take up the matter vigorously with Mahindra after I realised that i have been cheated. Just to let you know that G3 Motors replaced my Spark Plugs after 10000kms in 1 year where as the Service Book says that they should be replaced after 20000 kms and the Board displayed in G3 motors says that it should be done after 40000 kms. They never gave me my old spark plugs. It just means that the Spark plugs were never replaced but I was merely billed for them by G3, Malad east, Mumbai. No Proper Bill was issued for the repairs work carried out by them. Every time in free service also they charge 100/- to 200/- towards consumables which in my opinion is not correct.

                i am very much disappointed with jitendra motors..
                i had given my car for ac complaint to the dealer, they told me that i have to keep my car there since the dash board has to be opened up to look for the fault, i kept my logan and i had to travel 200kms to my place, next day i get a call that the problem is in some pipe and have to be changed, the pipe as usual was not available, will come in 8 days, i get my car back, after 8 days i went again to change the pipe, now today this people started opening the dash board and says the coil is not in good condition and has to be changed, so what they did last time, 1]if the can give me my car in one day now why didn't they did it last time.2]quality of the part is so poor that my car ac has a major problem in just after 2 year o[censored]se3]rattlinng noises are still persistant even after so many complaints, window noises are the same

                  I was informed by dealer on 2nd July that vehicle has reached storeroom situated outskirts of Mumbai and on paying full amount, vehicle will be delivered.
                  I paid remaining amount in full on 07/07/2009(Cheque No: 325093 SBI Bandra-East, Mumbai).
                  Amount got deposited on AVIS motors Pvt. Ltd. Account on 09/07/2009.
                  On 9th July (Thursday) it was revealed that though vehicle arrived (on 2nd Jul) its invoice is missing. From 9th till today 13th every day I was told same thing that Invoice is lost by Mahindra and until invoice comes nothing can be done(paying of octroi, RTI & Insurance formalities which again are going to take 2/3 days.).
                  I was told that even Fax from Mahindra(invoice) can work but last 4/5 days mare Fax could not be managed.
                  I do not know whether it is really flaw from Mahindra or Dealer is buying time for some other reason.
                  I paid around 6 lakhs with confidence but it is shaken and now unfortunately I am suspecting everything.
                  Please give me details of all these and help me in re-gaining confidence on Mahindra.

                    the tamilnadu government has been very unfair to me...im a NRI and have invested my money to do some good to my hometown and poor..i have opened a free school in oragadam, padapai, tamilnadu...almost every village was covered and children were happy with the free education until when the huge giant SIPCOT, renauld nissan came and tried to tear apart our school to build his company in my place...the government, especially D.R.O AND POLICE of oragadam, padapai, kanchipuram district has been threatening me my students and parents to run away from the school...it isnt even ready to give compensation for me to open another school nearby...is there not a single good soul in government who could support me in doin this good cause for my country...shame on india..thats why people love being in abroad...nobody can save india...

                      I have owned 1 logan car of model 1.4 Glx before 1.6 yrs from Punjab Automobiles at Ahmedabad.

                      Till the date of purchase my car I can't satisfy my needs towards car. It create numberous of problem and it dis-function in my routine life. I suffer lot problem of average, heavy noice of engine, A.C. noice, Noice of kadaka in running of car, power stearing hardness for moving turn, break failure in running, unknowledged technicians etc.

                        I would like to take this oppurtunity to throw some light on the pains that I have, and still am going through, after buying a brand new Mahindra Logan GLX 1.4. Before I proceed futher, request you to please note that a customer(me) has taken efforts in trying to get this issue raised to someone so that no one else experiences it further.

                        From an upper middle class background, after saving considerable amount of money, it was time for me to buy a new car. I did a lot of research with Maruti, Tata, Ford and then finally freezed upon Mahindra...only because of my trust with the brand.

                        I was referred to Global Gallarie, a showroom at Panvel, got the costings finalized, paid the necessary DP and finalised my loan with Sundaram Finance. Now the series of woes start. A true experience of Indian customer experience that "Customer is god...only till he/ she buys the product"

                        1. My delivery after all the finances, was delayed by approx. 1 week of the committed date inspite of the vehicle being in their possession for over a month since it is a Dec 2008 model
                        2. On taking the delivery, before releasing the vehicle, we found umpteen scratches which can easily be ignored by the naked eye unless seen with lot of proximity. Moreover the paint was all bad on the front side, which again could be spotted only if there is light falling on that area. They were trying to fool me till I insisted on the paint being redone.
                        3. My vehicle was taken back for the registration and painting on Tuesday 3rd Feb and was returned again 3 days delayed from the committed date of 5th Feb i.e. 8th Feb. There still were scratches visible.
                        4. Right now, only after 3 days o[censored]sing the car, my backdoor is jammed but I am least interested in going back to the showroom as I know they would give me a headache and I still do not have a registration number or insurance, to drive the vehicle to Panvel.
                        5. Being a veteran in the service industry, I know that I can never use the term "favor" to a customer but Global, used it umpteen times with me just because I addressed my woes and asked for a driver to deliver my car which as per my knowledge is done by every dealer for a customer who asks for it
                        6. I have not been given a demo of all operations' of the car which was again committed but ignored by the dealer. This is in spite of the Logan having very different Operations'

                        The customer experience has been so pathetic that I have lost all my respect towards Mahindra because I am sure that they are ignoring the customer complaints which are primarily faced with the showrooms.
                        I would also certainly never recommend Mahindra cars to anyone I know, not because the vehicles are bad but because of the mental trauma that the customer has to go to, due to the utrocious service provided by the dealers.

                        I may be a one of person complaining because I feel the need to do so. There may be many more like me who probably have the same concerns but prefer to ignore but ensure that they do not recommend a Mahindra vehicle.

                        You are absolutely right, i have been experiencing the same since past 2 years since the day i brought my Mahindra Logan. I brought th evehicle from Thane, i reside in Pune hence all my servising has been done in Pune. Till date i have tried all the dealers at Pune and the service is just getting from Bad to Worse... There is quality check, the amount of expenditure which i had to incurr for plying my vehicle to all the showrooms has been just nonsensical. NOt once have i got my vehicle serviced to any levels of satisfaction...i had written a long mail to the customer care, for which i did receive some response but ultimately the service standards have just not changed

After several discussion with Logan customer Care, Win Win Automobile, Bhopal refund my refilling charges but same problem has not solved. I also send a warning letter to Logan Dealer if he fails to attend the leakage problem, I move to legal action with firm.                         This is for your kind information that on Monday the 29th June I enquired that my car is facing such and such difficulties so when should I send my car to service depot Mr. Jain said come tomorrow everything will be done right. on 30th morning again inquired should d I send the car and green signal from jain sahib the car was taken to service centre .there was no body responsible available .anyway chart was made all quarries done by the staff and car was taken in side the service centre

                        And after three and half hours to my utmost disappointment the service staff says sorry for certain things we do not mechanic and for certain problems we do not have parts so we can not do any thing please take your car away.
                        Respected sir this has happened three four times but I did not complain only because I thought that it was by chance but now it is proved that company is making fool of consumer and plays with money and time of the consumer.

                        It is with extreme disappointment and distress that I am writing to you, I purchased a Mahindra Renault Logan(GLX 1.4 Petrol) on Oct. 26th 2007 Registration No. HR-26AN 8790. The booking was made through Sterling Motor Co.(Gurgaon). At the time of booking, I was told that there will be full support and customer friendly approach, but it was totally missing after i had purchased car from them. Dealer was so customer unfriendly & Rude that it had given me the doubt as if I had done a mistake of buying car from Sterling motor co.



                        Another issue was car is facing lots of problems and Sterling motor co are not capable to rectify the problem . All the issues are mentioned below:



                        1) Unavailability of parts at the time of servicing of the car.

                        2) Lack of product knowledge with all the advisors and managers.

                        3) Use of illicit language.

                        4) Misbehaving with customer at every step.

                        5) Mishandling of our car which in turned deliver car in very bad condition.
                        6) Absense of staff on daily basis.




                        It is very surprising that my car(HR-26AN 8790) was ready for delivery after 10 days without any quality check and coz of this I had been suffered a lot and heard lot of abusing language from the staff of Sterling motor co. and above all I explained all these issues to General Manager gurgaon workshop (Mr. Madan pal) and I was shocked to hear the kind of language and justification from him coz even GM of the workshop don’t have adequate knowledge and awareness about the product .



                        It was very clear to me that people who are the employees of the company carry no fear from the top management as It had been told to me that my car has some minor problem for which they want to keep my car in there workshop for one day to solve the problem for which I agreed and send my car to there workshop on 29/6/2009. I don’t know that after this day my life will b changed as there was no revert back from company about my car till 2/07/2009 and then on 3/07/2009 I got the call from company side that it has some problem with throttle body cost approx. 13000/- and then I visited to sterling motors and asked them to explain me about this part and why this happened and there were no justification from any staff member and then after seeing my knowledge about the faulty part they changed there statement that we will check again and let you know whether there is problem with this part or some other part.



                        On 4/07/2009 company called me again and told me that throttle body is fine but problem is with fuel pump cost approx. 10, 000/- but that was also not sure and I again questioned the staff that why this happened and what is the life of this part and how come suddenly in first time it happened and as usual as it was expected there was no clear justification from any staff member and different justification from different staff member.



                        On 6/07/2009 I visited workshop to check the current status of my car and met the supervisor Mr. Manoj Rana who was looking after my car . I asked him about the problem and this guy replied me in a very wrong language with no clear justification about the car as he himself doesn’t have adequate knowledge about the product and told me that both your parts throttle body and fuel pump are not in fault and later on after few minutes he changed the statement that I have to check it again.



                        On 7/07/2009 when I shouted on the staff that please explain me the problem then they used rude and illicit language and told me to meet Mr. Madan pal (GM) or Mr. Ravinder Rana who particularly looking after all the Logan problems and both of them agreed that our staff misbehaved with u for which we are sorry and about the problem we are also not sure, so u have to give us one more day to check.



                        On 8/07/2009 company had made the bill amounting 12-13k and also damaged my car from all over. On asking about the dents in the car they refused that this had not happened in our workshop and told us that we can’t help you in any above mentioned matter but you have to pay the bill amount and take your car.



                        Finally when again I asked them the justification about the bill and reason of faulty parts they people refused and left the room and used rude language and misbehaved. People from top management told me that go where ever we don’t care and now we will not deliver your car.



                        I request you to please look into the matter personally and do the need full else forcefully I have to go to consumer court or media to question Sterling motor co . about my car.

                        I am Saju Daniel from Trivandrum, owner of 1.5 DLE logan. I agree with all of the complaints here put in for the very bad servicing meted out to customers.

                        Ever since bought 1.5 DLE, there was a complaint of the battery, but when I wanted a replacement to the same, the dealers in TVS, Trivandrum, say that they need to first email to Nasik for approval of the Battery Replacement and for that I have to surrender my car to keep with them for ONE WHOLE WEEK till the battery comes...isn't this RIDICULOUS???
                        I purchased Logan 1.5 Dle diesel in Nov 2007 from Sri Durga Automobiles, New Delhi. I have following serious complaints which are hardly heeded at the Dealer:
                        1. The sales people gave the assurance of Teflon quoting- Guarantee for 5 yrs. Whereas, the actual Workshop people backed out saying- "it is valid only for 2 Yrs! The last "quoting " done by them looks ONLY rubbing and polishing instead of taflon coating- even when the "Guarantee" is taken for two yrs!
                        2. I had referred for sale against " introduce-a- friend" scheme and get one year warrantee extension, in Feb- March 2008 . The Sri Durga professionals kept saying to both the owners, that the papers were sent to Mahindra and we would directly hear from them on "extensions". However, it is now almost 1.5 yrs, no info is received by us. When we started stressing on the matter, Sri Durga people started saying that "none-of-their" records showed any reference to Mahindra for Warrantee extension! This is attrocius and criminal!
                        Please help me in this aspect . I shall be obliged.

                        I agree with the opinion. I am also suffering from Mahindra's. My Logan GLX 1.4 is giving exceptionally low mileage as compared to other customers I have interacted with and the company is just killing time to avoid offer releif during warranty period. I am certain that the problem with the vehicle will be identified and rectified at my cost as soon as the warranty period is over. Warranty services are very poor. Dealer and company officials are not at all responsive. GREAT MENTAL TRAUMA.

                        MAHINDRA'S PLEASE LISTEN AND SOMETHING TO IMPROVE YOUR IMAGE.
                        I had bought a Mahindra Logan last year from a showroom in New Mumbai.
                        After the payment the delivery was delayed by 3 weeks. Only after I threathened them that I want my money back, etc they delivered the car to be in 48 hours with a temporary number.
                        While buying the car I was told that 3 services will be taken care by them and pick up and drop is free. Later when I called them for the second service they said I will have to pay for pick up and drop as their policy has changed. After 3 free services when I called them for a paid service they charged me an abrupt amount just for changing the oil and oil filter. It was a very high amount which I would have never paid if they would have told me about it before.
                        I would want to warn the new customers that the car is decent but after sales is extremely bad.
                        Hi guys. The car itself is very good value for money. Although it lacks refinement, it is a solid machine, and very competent. I have had my Logan for almost 3 years now. It is a 1.5 DLE.
                        However, the Mahindra Dealerships and Service sucks! Each and every service, with each and every dealer I have tried.
                        The latest one was Shiva Automobiles in Sahibabad. They did a pre-service inspection and listed out all faults in the car. The AC was working perfect at that time. When I did the post-service inspection, my AC was no longer working. When I said this to the service center people, they said it was an pre-existing problem and gave me a quote of Rs. 5500/- to fix this. Apparently a valve had leaked and since the valve is not made available, they said I would have to replace the entire pipe assembly that has that valve. That is ridiculous.
                        So, two things, are my conclusion:
                        1. They did something wrong during service and I have to bear the damage due to that.
                        2. Mahindra is selling spares in a way that makes customers pay more for small problems.

                        I wish everyone is aware of these types of issues, before they choose to buy, what is otherwise a value for money car.
                        Yes.many dealers are not interested in customer care and they charge as they think and change parts prior to its expected life time.I had the very bad experience with Jain cars, Tiruvannamalai branch during my 3rd free service and the service manager denied to get the free service card saying it has exhausted its time and he is not at all interested in taking the matter tocompany and to get an approval for the 3rd free service to be done in favour of tehe customer.It is not always possible for the suburban and remote customers to come in time for the service.If the services are carried out reglularly with reasonable time delay all dealers should take the vehicle for free service even if it has crossed the 1 year validity but near mileage is there.Dealers are notgoing to loose anything the Mahindar company is going to reimburse the charges for free service which again is already collected from the customer from the vehicle cost.More over the replaced parts are not returned to the customer most of the times by amny dealers.All these are the bitter side of Mahindara dealers like Jain cars, Vellore, Tamilnadu who is not having proper infrastructure for the Logan full fledged service and who have a branch at Tiruvannamalai for the sakeof making money but the quality of service is definitely VERY BAD.The attitude of the people also are very indifferent with the customers and if they are not interested in customer satisfaction why should they become dealers for just making money alone
                        hello everybody, I own a logan deisel (limited edition ) and is one and half year old . It is performing nicely till last week when the A/C stopped working.I had sent my car to Mohan Motor, the dealer and service provider, and they said that the evaporator of the AC has to be replaced and we are supposed to get a free replacement within warrenty period. But unfortunately and as a normal Indian practice, the patrs is out of stock and had to be couriored from manufacturer/dealer.The time frame was three to four days but till today there is no suretity of the date of arrival.I apprehend that some intervention by competent authority is required so that I get the service without further delay.

                        I happen to be the owner of Logan DLX since last 2.5 yrs .At present i am residing at Navi Mumbai .However i purchased my vehicle from Swami Automobiles Pvt Ltd ,Chandigarh on 18/07/2008 .The vehicle details for your reference are as below :

                        Out of many cars I preferred buying this vehicle because of the Brand image of MAHINDRA with the name of RENAULT attached to it. But it is disheartening to mention that ever since i have bought this vehicle it has troubled me. Despite getting it serviced at Authorized service centers only , sudden breakdowns were a frequent feature which i have been bearing and getting it repaired at my own cost.Many a times the sensors went faulty which i got replaced again at my own cost and other faults which were still bearable from time to time.

                        I'm writing you this letter to make you aware of the unfortunate experience of poor service and severe lack of response from G3 Automobiles Nerul Navi Mumbai.
                        On 6th of May 2011 post identifying the problem of sudden breakdowns in the running car , i took my car to G3 automobiles for inspection .They inspected my vehicle and reported that oil and water was getting mixed and is flowing through all the possible compartments.Later on after 2 days it was told to me that injectors also need to be replaced which was a surprise to me as it could only be identified after 2 days and not in the first inspection . I had no option but to ask them to proceed with the same.
                        Presently on 25th May (after 19 days of follow up ) i have got a call from supervisor and he told me that there is some noise in the engine for which connecting rods and bearings also need to be changed .This activity involves the dismantling of the engine too. It is height of my frustration that how could it have happened in such a small period and that things cannot be detected in one go.
                        It raises a big question mark on the efficiency and skills of the people in your authorized service centers specially with the fact that even the sensors do not show any such indications.

                        I would not have been so upset at the delay in repairing my car had someone had the courtesy to just keep me informed constantly with all the details . The not knowing and wondering was frustrating and showed little respect for my time and money. As this car is my only mode of transportation, it is crippling for me to be without a car for this length of time. Needless to say, I am quite frustrated now.
                        I expected a much higher level of service from your company and I am very disappointed with the attitude of G3. I do not want to spend any more time on this problem, At this point, an apology will not undo the damage done. However, I fully expect your service center to do the repairs for my car free of cost . You may also refer Docket no. KE26/0322 which will give you a fair idea of my frustation shared at your call centre on 26th May on this issue and i have not received any revert on that too so far.
                        Please take this on a serious note and revert on top priority for the above mentioned .

                        I had an accident in my Mahindra Logan, on 13 dec 2010, on Kanpur-Etahwah highway, I went to V C motors, Kanpur for its repair. It took them 3 months for them to make the parts available and finally call me all the way from Chandigarh just to my surprise that, its engine was make awkward noises, rear view mirror broken, almost no cleaning done in 3 month, door locks wrecked, and above all there was nothing called pick up in that car. After showing the V C motors the situation they kept the car again and took another 2 months for repair. Finally I got my car with a bill of 2, 40, 000 and the insurance company, i.e. oriental insurance claimed that the company did car outing the first time and did not inform the insurance company because of which they can't give claim for more than 40, 000(haven't received yet, its just a estimated figure and will for sure be less than this). After the whole payment I took my car, just to realise after few weeks, when i went for service in Jaipur (my home town) that, 1. the Chasis of the car ( which was the major area of damage in the accident) hasn't been changed and is just repaired somehow because of which it is still somewhat bend and there can be no wheel alignment done. 2. Car gear pipes and other pipes are been held by M-seal and has not been changed, 3. brake pads are rotten (which was changed as in the accident tyre and the wheel was damaged.

                        Its disgusting and disgraceful to be attached to mahindra and mahindra-services in particular, other than a consumer case complaint again both the companies, now I am starting a drive to educate people I know and work with, and people in general about the Mahindra fraud going on, through its representative service comapnies.

                        Dear Sir,
                        It is with great regret that I am writing this letter. When i purchased this car from Ernakulum showroom I was fully satisfied with the car’s performance and I was using this car for the past 4 years without any major complaints. I was doing the after sales service at Ernakulum service centre up to the end of 2009 and due to the unsatisfactory performance of the service team i discontinued the service with them.
                        I am having some plantation at attapady and I used to go to the estate twice in a month. On my way to the estate I saw your showroom in the mannuthy bypass and i dropped their once to see the new models of Mahindra and took the price of scorpio and bolero and I met Mr. Delson Your sales Executive who is a nice person with Good behaviour & of course knowledge. I came to your service centre with his advice and through him only I booked the service of 40000kms at ITL motors. I was fully satisfied with your service by seeing the performance of the said car. From that time onwards I was doing all my services at your garage only.
                        During the month of May 26th 2011 My car met with an accident at varikkoly near Ernakulum and I towed the car to your garage. The repair works were carried out by your service executives Mr. Jones and Mr. Shinoj and received the car on July 1st 2011 by giving a payment amount of 60, 563/- IRS. I hope some faulty repair has been carried out during the accidental repair. Any way this has been noticed recently that the gap between the right mudguard and the tyre is very less comparing to the L.H.S (Left Hand Side) which objects me to fix the mud flap on the right side. I replaced the mud flap twice and it was found broken.
                        I contacted your hospitality manager Mrs. Sajitha, the time i noticed this defect and as per her advice I brought my car on 12th of December to your garage. Mr. Francis your technical advisor checked the vehicle for several hours and told me that he needs 2 days time to find out the defect. I gave them 3 days and up to now they are unable to find the defect which means the technical staff is not experienced to detect the defect. If an authorised service centre cannot detect such defects, who else can solve such problems. When I reached there I came to know that the service technician who has carried out the above works left your company.
                        Today evening with great difficulty I told your service team to refit all the accessories which has been dismantled and give me back the vehicle at the same condition when i gave the car for repair.
                        The service team is forcing me to take such an action due to the fact that they cannot detect the cause which is more painful to me. By considering all the above said I request you to take necessary action at the earliest and deliver the vehicle at least by Saturday morning. The Christmas is getting nearby and i need the car latest by coming Monday if you can solve the issue by that time.
                        I am also a mechanical Engineer who was running a garage few years back prior to my departure to gulf “The sales & Service of SWARAJ MAZDA LCV’s.” The faults in which your technical advisors are saying is not relevant and a person like me cannot digest it. This happened during the telephonic conversation with your technical team today.
                        I hope you will do the needful action and deliver the car on time.

                            Sir,

                            I have purchase Mahindra Logan DLS on dated 30.4.2008 from Gahlot Motors, Sikar. At the time of first service, they told me that we do not have service facility so I send my Logan to K.S. Motors Udaipur Service Centre for First Service.
                            After checking the car, they told me that the foundation of Radiator is broken from one side. I asked them that I have 2 years warranty of this vehicle so replace it. They taken some photographs and told me that our engineer will see then he will take the decision. After two months I have not received any massage from your side then I contract your help line No. [protected] on dated 10.1.2009. They give me a Docket No. IA10/0046.
                            On dated 12.1.2009 afternoon receive a phone call and he told that send your vehicle to our workshop. I send the vehicle. After that they again pass a massage that our Engineer will visit to Udaipur and he will take the decision. Till date my car is standing in your workshop and this two years warranty system is harassing me. There are two options:

                            1. is this foundation coming in insurance claims
                            2. is this foundation coming in warranty.

                            My vehicle is not accidental vehicle so I think this will not come in insurance claim if it comes in insurance claim this will also mature from your help so please replace this foundation. My Car No. RJ23-CA-1996 and my contact no.[protected].

                            I have purchased a Logan one and half years ago. I found recently that the left side mirror does not stand still and it is very loose. i want to replace it under warranty. how can i do it . what is the procedure.
                            I HAVE BUY A LOGAN AT 23/8/2009.
