This problem is perinial. My vehicle number is tn o9bu3207 in the name of lalith kumar galada. And have been having this problem since 2015. It was adjusted once before and was fine for a few months but the problem has cropped up again. When told to the authorised dealer in chennai they adjusted it again and now the gears are hard. My vehicle has run around 39500 kms only.

    Duster 2013 model.. Delivered in jan 2014.. 81k km done.. I have been having issues with the steering wheel when turning towards right. The steering would become hard for few seconds and then works fine.. Ongoing issue for 2-3 months.. Went to service center at rama road today and was advised about steering rack issue and cost of 42k. It's strange that so many people are facing similar issue with their duster.

      This is about tick# 624410 & loan a/c rban023170 which is still pending.

      Loan emi due is on march 5th, i have sufficient balance in my a/c as on 5th march. But i have received a message from citibank mentioning the cheque has been dishonored. Please check this immediately and revert on this. And am not going to make payment until then. How can you drop the cheque before 5th march which is my due date?

      The customer service is very bad. And call me on my number [protected].

      Also we have shared the bank statement along with the password but still no response.

      Finance team is still working and customer service officer (Kafil) is still checking since march 8th 2018.

        So my nightmare started right after i bought duster rxs cvt on 30th june 2017 delivered on 3rd july 17. Ever since the purchase of this car my life has been on a roller coaster ride. You have sold me a defective vehicle, i started facing issues right from the 2nd week of the purchase of the car. First the abs malfunction light comes up for no reason when called the sales guy who sold me a melon instead of a car, says please ignore it there’s nothing to worry about, then comes my first free service in september 17 where i share my list of issues regarding the mileage (By the way is a mileage of an elephant 6kms per hour) commendable for a cvt engine. I was told to check after the first service. Did that patiently and guess what nothing changed but i noticed something even more stranger after the first service in september the front grill started discoloration upon calling the service center executive manjunath at silk board service center who tended to the car during the first service. Instead of acknowledging the problem he stated that the vehicle could have been exposed to some chemicals (Lol) and i need to bring the car back to check the damage... Hilarious isn’t it well i thought so too. After multiple angry escalations and breaking my head with # the grill was replaced as their quality product has reacted to the one of the polishing material. Problem solved right? Wrong!!! That was one of the problems sorted which was created by them.. The issue with regard to abs malfunction light.. Nobody gave a damn about it... On 10th october the nightmare began again the abs malfunction started blinking again, this time i took a pic as proof because these # couldn't relate to the problem, it didn't end there.. By the way every time there some problem they would expect you to visit the damn service center as if we customers don't have anything else to do it life. On 9th november the power circuit failure light started blinking... While in middle of peak traffic, i reached out to the service center asking for help they said nobody is there as it’s 7:30 pm... After requesting of couple of times, i was asked to drive down to the service center while dayanand joined me near silk board, after the initial inspection they did find some problem with the power circuit and was asked to leave the car for further inspection... Wow isn’t it great. After 48 hours of inspection was told that there’s a problem with the sensor panel... Can you imagine my frustration...4 months old car and defective sensor panel... Applause... The best part is, the service head manjunath had the audacity to tell me not to worry as you have the warranty to fix such issues... And the part will be replaced. He spoke as if he paid it from his pocket. Dayanand promised that the sensor panel will be replaced blah blah... After one and half months painful wait and follow-ups the panel was replaced was promised nothing will go wrong now. Lo behold!!! Feb 2018 abs malfunction light is on again... Fed up of this #... Today i sent the car for second free service and complained about abs malfunction # again... I was told they will look into it and update me... And guess what guru called me saying there’s some problem with abs for sure...... Called deepa who is the so called service head... As usual gave me cold response... Standard bull# about i’ll look into it and get back. Didn’t have the guts to call back and asked dayanand to call who started begging me to give him another chance to fix this issue.

        Now tell me why should i keep quiet after paying 13 freaking lakhs of my hard-earned money... I don't want this car back... You keep it and refund my money. I’m sick a and tired of the lies the bull# and unprofessional lame # attitude and above all a defective car... If this is how you deal with customers who pay so much money you are doing one heck of a job... You sell melons in the name of suv... Bravo... You must have one heck of a legal team who helps you sell these defective pieces.. Without any guilt and get away with it. Guess mr. Renault india head to take sensible measures, and either refund my money or give me a replacement. You have to pay a price for all the mental stress /agony you put me through by selling this white elephant to me. I have gone through enough of # by dealing with this car and # in your service center. You have a long way to go before you establish your reputation. Just by selling sheer numbers you won’t succeed. Pay attention to what you’re making and selling. This is one disappointing and disgusting experience anybody could go through. Take accountability of your screw ups... Idiotic and arrogant behavior won't fix it. Train your damn staff on how to handle customers... We are not # who’ve invested is some stupid toy. You can keep the car... Won’t be taking this defective product with me. Stop treating customers like they are some ignorant fools.

          new duster 6 days old multiple issues, stiff and vibrating steering wheel.

          I brought new duster in the name of my wife rajeswari r from trident renault whitefield 5 days old..

          The same had issues confirmed with two of my friends who already have duster 85 ps rxz.
          1. Tight steering
          2. Too much vibration in idling and 1st gear and reverse in steering wheel
          3. Wheel imbalance
          4. Pumpy ride
          5. Dashboard noise in first and reverse gear.

          I purchased renault kwid rxl 800cc from lekhraj renault, kaithal on 16th feb 2018 bearing temp number - hr04-temp[protected].
          I want to highlight that after-sales-support has been pathetic from this dealer.
          They are yet to start process for permanent registration of the car. I have been chasing this daily, now they do not even attend my calls and are not co-operating to start procedure to get rc.
          This is very negative approach. I am thinking about to take it up with consumer court as well as cm window complaint.
          This will result in negative publicity for your brand which i am sure you would not want.

          Hence please discuss my complaint with this car dealer.

              I'm unaiz from kumily (Kerala). I have booked a duster sand storm edition car in my father name on 16 february 2018 at tvs renault maradu kochi, and also paid the full amount. After that i have told to the executive that i'm going to take the car insurance from out house because in house and out house insurance having 15000 ruppees difference and the executive says its my wish. After some hours one of the people from tvs renault insurance called me and his name is mr. Mohammed minash (Mob:[protected]), he shouted with me and he told that without renault insurance he don't allow me to deliver the vehicle, he threaten me and he used very bad words with me. Any way this is not my first vehicle, i having number of premium and prestige brand vehicles. So this is the first bad experience for me from a car dealership renault because of people like minash. Mr. Minash of tvs renault behaven with me very very poor. So please, first upon tvs renault have to choose eligible or qualified staff as insurance head, in order to get the cent of customer satisfaction

              I drive a Renault Duster RXL Diesel which has covered 38000 kms. I too have a hard clutch problem which has caused a severe pain in my left knee. I tried raising this with the service station but they have asked me to change the clutch plate and other accessories which will cost me 25k. is there a solution or else I will be forced to sell the car alas at a great loss and a permanently dissatisfied Renault customer.

                I am saroj from jaipur i had purchased kwid car in 2016. Now i am totally fed up with renault company car and renault services. Every new day i am facing new problem with my car no one listen us. We drove our car only approx 6k and renault service executive stats that you have to change your battery and you need pay for that and there are so many hidden charges there in services those he didn't tell me.                   I have renault kwid rxl 1.0 cc car and recently engine has been seized due to
                  Oil leakage. I approached service center gwalior mp and get to know that 35000 rs they will charge to make car perfect and crankshaft and all will be set up new. Actually it was not within my budget so i left workshop and just walk few hundred meter away mr. Shakir a third person approached me and offer a deal that we will arrange all spare parts of engine crankshaft, wagon and all in 12500 rs.
                  I said are you mechanic in renault service centre (Gwalior) here? He said no. I'm working near by vishal motors workshop but i have good contacts in renault service centre gwalior's mechanic's mr. Khan and mr. Khan will arranged everything for me, a day later he show me crankshaft and all spare parts related to engine and it was all new spare parts and i took photos of crankshaft and asked him how it is possible to get spare parts while company is refusing to do counter sales. He said mechanic of service centre
                  Fetch these new genuine spare parts from total loss vehicle and share with us for money.

                  This type of fraudulent activities running in workshop and showrooms of renault gwalior. Now third man is saying that if you go to workshop they will put old crankshift in engine and will charge of new. Please help here. I'm in deep problem where to repair my kwid engine seized problem. Please help me.

                    My duster car met with an accident. Accident took place on 10th january 2017. Lorry hit (With speed @20-30kms/hr) my car on right side then my car front bumper hit divider of around 5ft on bridge. Eventhough car got hit from front, air bags didn’t work. Immediately tires were dismantled, making a small accident to worst. If quality is good, atleast airbags would have worked. Car first service is done just few days before the accident. Company is not ready to listen to me. They apologized and told, they cannot help. All the safety systems which are shown for duster are just for papers. Car engine and most of the interior is good, atleast they are not ready to do repair. Company is cheating customers.

                    I have mentioned the same in my compliant. Renault car is defective. Tyres were dismantelled so car met with a worst accident. both me and my mother seriously injured due to defective car. Even Airbags didnt work. Customer care is worst in giving response so overall the response is worst from Renault

                    Due to defective car, either it should be repaired and give it back to me or they should give me new car on the behalf of defective car. Renault is not ready for both. They left it as it is.

                    Above links clearly shows, basic duster version failed in crash test. Even with airbags, it failed in my case and we both seriously injured. Government should ban Renault service in India for selling defective cars

                      Dear sir, i bought renault kwid 1000 cc at the end of june -2017 in anamallais motors erode show room. Your executive told after gst any changes in the price we will refund that different amount. After gst the price of the car has been reduced for rs. 7000 approx. I asked the dealer for the difference amount. They note down my account number and they told amount will be credited in your account. Till now i didn't get the amount. Every month they are saying the process is going on will be done by next month. Almost 7 months gone. Kindly look into the matter and solve as soon as possible. My mail i'd is [protected]@gmail.com

                        I bought a brand new car in 2017 may, renault kwid automatic, have been facing problems with the auto gear box and engine for last 10 months, the vehicle stops in the middle of the road, the gear box stops working and the malfunction sign pops up on the display, have given the vehicle to workshop four times in last 10 months, they have a kept the vehicle for more than 50 day in my last 4 visits, they are still unable to fix the issue, what to i do now, kindly advise

                          I have a new renault kwid automatic.
                          It is just few months old but already giving starting problem, currently the vehicle is in unnati service station - hadapsar pune.
                          However service station is not owning the problem and saying it might be battery problem and its battery manufacturer problem. Need solution for the problem renault should not washing their hands and blame on battery. At the end i am suffering as vehicle is not getting started

                            Hi,

                            My vehicle was purchased in may 2016.

                            Within just couple of months after purchasing kwid it did not start. Road side assistance had to come n jumpstart the vehicle.

                            It is really sad to hear a brand new vehicles battery drains out. I understand that batteries are consumables however a car battery draining out faster than your mobile is unheard off.

                            If my vehicle is ideal for 10 hours i get a warning message for the battery. I am asked to pay for a new battery dispite purchasing extended warranty.

                            There should be a battery recall, after soo many reviews online if nothing was done it reflects very poorly on the manufacturer.

                            As a consumer i am not satisfied with the product. I wish somebody does something and attained to our plight.

                              Purchased my kwid 1.0 atm in may 2017, first month it was very smooth ride. Only once the acceleration was stoped without any signal and vehicle stoped in middle of the high way. Then actual problem started during pickup at low speed, on the clump or reverse vehicle started jerking and entire vehicle vibrates. Shown to service centre & asked to resolved the issue during first service. After service it was ok for few days but the vibration increased after that. Recently during flooding replaced gear/ clutch plate and other accessories as suggested by service advisor. But then also the issue is still pending. Last month carried out second service keeper vehicles for 3 days for the jerk issue but all in vain. There are not pretty sure about what has to be done.

                                duster gear shift problem 1st to 2nd gear

                                Hi renault customer care,

                                I own duster ka01 9795, having the gear shift issue. While shifting from 1st gear to 2nd gear, sometimes gets stuck and lots of push is required to shift then. Is is very annoying and dangerous, as we do not know when this is happening.

                                I have seen several complaints from others also for the same issue. The solution also i have seen from you to replace the gear synchronize ring. br...

                                It is with utmost disheartening and sad mind i am writing this feedback.
                                I have a very bad experience with your company and your service dealer.

                                I own a duster. Yesterday i with my brother were on our way for an important meeting and a construction bidding on it and suddenly the car stopped working. By no means it would start working. We were left on the road with no help or support nearby. After waiting for a very long time we got a road recovery vehicle and finally the duster was pulled to the renault service centre.
                                We had got late and had to find another taxi to continue our journey but it was unfruitful, we had lost our deal.
                                The most alarming thing is the fact that the above said duster was routinely serviced at your kalamassery centre and the last routine service being barely a week ago and having paid around 18000rs for the same.

                                We got many other cars at home, owned by my father from brands like toyota and hyundai. But never before we had to confront a similar situation. And with duster we had always been so proud but it is so disheartening.

                                Then what is the purpose of such a routine service and a useless service centre. Why dont you shut down such service centres like the one in kalamassery which return the vehicles to the customers without rectifying the mistakes and causing more burden to us.

                                Hope you will look into the matter the seriously very soon.

                                  My kwid is also for long time problem not solve. 28 decmber 2017 ahmednagar showroom ko entry ki hai. It very very bad service in ahmednagar showroom in maharashtra. Ahmednagar renault showroom is not work is popar time. Very long time is problem solve. Mai jab showroom jata hu to showroom service advicer coming after next week and your vehicle redy. But vehicle is not redy to 1 month.

                                  Booked Renault kwid 1.lt AMT car in March 2017 with Sapna car motors Mandi (HP), co shows its inability to provide car after two months & assured to refund amount telephonically & through email many times but till date not refunded the booking amount of INR 5000.                                     I bought renault duster amt rxl from sri sri motors, secunderabad on 10, march 2017 and the vehicle has clogged 12000 kms till date. On any given day once the vehicle is driven for more that half-an-hour, the vehicle starts shuddering/jerking while moving in first gear and now the same can be noticed in second gear also. I have taken the vehicle to uppal service center and sadly there are no mechanics to deal and understand amt.

                                    After spending 13 lakhs of hard earned money, the issues faced with duster are not worthy.
