Dear Sir/Mam,

Its been more than 200 days from the day i lodged the complain regaring my bike but till now Royal Enfield Officials had not resolved the problems I am facing.

Kindly help me to get this problem resolved.

Problems Faced are as follows:-

1. Black Smoke from silencer.

2. High Carbon Deposited in calalyc silencer.

3. High Carbon Deposite in head and spark plugs.

    Hello Sir/Madam. Actually i want to complaint about my royal enfield. My name is Gagandeep singh. i am basicly from amritsar. i want to say in amritsar your company royal enfield status going down due to stupid staff whos working at there . i purchase my bike on 2 april 2011 . when i brought the bike after 15 minutes i am coming back to for problem of wheel . wheels going bobling from very 15 minutes after. from that day to today they dont give me a correct suggestion. they really disturb me . then after few days my bike become a problem of missing . for that problem i was going lot of time at agency. after behavior or service like that i think so we never purchase bike like that company. in amritsar they really ruin the company name. so please consider on my complaint. i am really upset with behavior of like that .     I agniva bose booked a royal en field electra model from bishnu oil company. At the time of booking they give a exchange value rs. 38, 000 /- but at the time of delivery they will denied my old car value.

    Please look into this matter from your end. Otherwise i cancle the deal.

      sir,
      i owned a royal en field Thunderbird bike no.ap28dd8046 on[protected]. after 15 days i got a problem in self and back tire so i went gave it for serviceing in 1-1/8, Jaichandra Complex, Near RT Office, Nagole Road, UppalHyderabad, Andhra Pradesh 500039 and i spent 1500/- on it again with in 15day i got another problem but showroom service men not even identifying the problem what it is? they didn't even response to me finally i showed it out side repairer he told me that it is a very big problem you have to spent nearly 10000/- because your bike got problem in engine ,throughout the hyd only 2 showroom were there.in those two showroom have very less service persons maximum three people the are providing.they are taking too much off time for service but charging fully....i am not knowing what to do now ...plz help me out from this i cant spent 10000 again on it showroom persons not responding to my problem .......and please take action on uppal royal enfield show room because they are providing worst service and solve my problem

        respected sir,
        i purchase the royal enfield 350 standard motorcycle sept 2010 from MEGAN AUTOS....registration no PB 19 1969..chasis no ME3U3K5COAK031052..but when my bike completed 500 KM chain produces noise...but engine also jamed many times...after that when i go to agency service man and dealer of the engency not giving a response...company engennier sound was nt very good,,,,,
        sir plz do any thing... i want justice against unfair

        Respected sir,
        I am Ramakrishnan. i had taken home my ROYAL ENFIELD ELECTRA UCE just a few months back. I purchased the bike on FEBRUARY 19TH, 2011 at ADYAR BRAND STORE, CHENNAI. from the day 1, i've been having pain in my upper back. only after 3 months i noticed tat the handlebar was bent. SERVICE CENTRE THIRUVANMYUR serviced the bike. Still my back pain is persisting. BIKE'S FRAME IS ALSO BENT. It leans to the right while riding. Service centre guys say tat the bike is perfect. I really do not know where and how to approach. Its a huge disappointment for me. This was my dream bike. I longed all my hearts to own this bike and its really in a bad shape now. They say handlebar does not come under the warranty cover. THE SERVICE CENTRE IS A CRAP. I just want my handlebar and the frame to be replaced. I want action and implementation and not mere words. I hope you consider this problem, just thinking tat this is your own bike.

          I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW ROYAL ENFIELD THUNDERBIRD ON 13 NOV 2009 FROM SWASTIK AUTOMOBILE FARIDABAD. FROM THE FIRST DAY I AM SUFFERING LOTS OF MANUFACTURING PROBLEM .ONE OF WHICH IS SELF START ,AFTER CHANGING METER , BATTERY, THEY ALSO CHANGED THE THE SELF START GEARS .             Problems :Both Side Panel replaced, Fuel Tank replaced

            Silencer packing replaced Due to Manufacturing

            defect and Head Light glass was foggy cleaned, side indicator was bent was repaired ,bike was with above Service center from 28/08/10 to 01/10/10



            Second Service Date :18/03/2011

            Duration :23 days in service center

            Problems :Replaced timing Gear for Engine noisy

            : Front Fork noisy not repaired, front disk break was very tight not repaired and was not upto the mark after giving the delivery on 11/04/11

            Complained : Complained to service incharge Mr Jogdand

            Even after keeping so many days in service centre the above problem still persists (front fork problem noisy).

            Repeated complaint :21/04/11(difference of 10 days after second service) while riding the front fork had same noise and gave bike to service centre where the Company Authorised Engineer Mr Umesh said that chassis is bent and it is not covered under warranty as per his wording.

            Please note I have multiple problem the day one to till date as if I have purchased a second hand bike.

            Kindly look into the above matter the bike is in service center till date and we are not receiving proper

            feed back . As you must have read all the above various /multiple problem let me advice what shall I do.

              Purchase of Royal Enfield Classic 500 cc from Soniya Motors on 17/10/2010

              I Mr. Arvind Singh Choudhary hv booked for the abv bike in name of reshma arvind choudhary by paying the minimum down payment of Rs 1000/- SIX Months back ie on 17th of October. as you can find enclosed
              the receipt from SONIYA MOTORS PVT LTD.Authorised Dealer For Royal Enfield Mumbai

              At the time of booking , I was informed that it wud take a minimum of 6 months time
              to get possession of the vehicle .
              After completion of 6 good months , I am sorry to inform you that I still havnt recd my vehicle & neither do I have any kind of concrete reply from Soniya motor inspite of repeated followups.... & this is really frustating to get this kind of reponse as a Customer.

              In the same pretext, I have got a 2 wheeler loan sanctioned from HDFC Bank & you can find the enclosed copy of the same for your ref ,which will lapse on ......
              & once lapsed , i will again have to go thru the pain again of submitting docs for the loan procedure.

              I request your kind self to pls look into this matter & appreciate your immediate action
              in this regards. what is the current status and when i get my bike
              gives us the despetch detials

                I am facing this issue with the bike constantly turning off, even after running a few kilometers, I have stated this issue with my bike when I got it for my !st service and since then I have visited the Royal enfield authorized workshop thrice for the same problem but no help what so ever, I am also facing issues with the paint work of the bike it is chipping off from various places on the bike. The company is paying no regard whatsoever on the product quality and after sales maintenance. They are charging a decent amount for these bikes but the quality is not up to the mark

                  My self Anosh Sebastian had purchases a Royal Enfield Std model UCE engine bullet from your cochin (Edapally) showrrom on April 2010 (Bullet no :KL 07 BN 2555,)the very next day of purchasing i had complained to the show room service exe Mr Eldo/Ajith and and sales executive Mr Hari that i have some missing problems and some power issues,they told me that it will be ok after 1st service, though the problem still not got resolved ,they had changed my Carburetor 3 times and done 10 + services as of now.but story remains same .
                  Today i met a local bullet workshop men who is experienced in bullet more than 30 yrs .he told me that your bullet is same like old diesel engine bullet ,where all the functions are not working properly,its really a painful words for me like a customer who had paid around 1 lakh rs to get my dream bike .i dont know weather this mail will make any difference in my bike ,even though i would like to go for my last attempt by informing Royal Enfield service heads that i got cheated with your service and sales guys .

                  One again with a painful heart i requesting you guys to please dont create another Anosh Sebastians with your irresponsible services

Yesterday i go at yours ulhasnagar dealer(S R Motors) and they told me that there is two months waiting period, then too i booked my RE at that showroom, my receipt no. is 87. While when i am going to any private motors they are giving me Royal Enfield on the spot, because they are demanding 'ON Money' on that RE. So it means your company is also patchup with this small private motors dealers. First you are giving priority to that dealers rather then your consumers.
                    So if possible i want my Enfield within two-three days, otherwise i'll take necessary n Hard actions against your Royal Enfield Pvt. Ltd..

                    Hi my name is Manish. I booked my Royal Enfield Electra black, on Jan 3rd 2011. When i made the booking the they said me my booking period is 4 months. So its suppose to be delivered in April 1st or 3rd. But, when i asked the sales man of the royal enfield showroom, who took my booking, he says the booking period is 5 months for me. and i may get the vehicle in May.
                    This is atrrocious. I am great lover of royal enfield bikes and i have a passion owning a Bullet. I booked the bike with great excitement and was wating for April. But now i am really, greatly frustrated, and lost respect on royal enfield company. I feel like they r wantedly delaying. I am upset by the delay time being extended for me. No good response from the show room dealers too. A vehicle can have a delay period of some days. not months. even cars doesn take this much time.

                    Please help me get the bike soon. I want to have it this before Rainy Season. Please help me. I am dissappointed hugely by delay and worst response from RE side.

                      Dear Sir

                      I have submitted my Royal Enfield machismo for engine overhauling on 31st march 2011 at lamba enterprises subhash nagar new delhi,

                      i was told that it will take 4 days to get the job done but is still delayed its been more than 23days

                      when asked for reason am getting reply that spare parts from chennai that is Royal Enfield factory are not arrived

                      this is disgusting to hear that after 23days they still are waiting for spare parts to arrive

                      how long does it take to order spare parts ?

                      why was i given commitment for 4 days if non of the manager from Lamba Enterprise has an why it is taking so long neither they are sure how long it will take

                      i even contacted to Royal enfield customer service but there is no proper solution
                      i have also spoken to Regional manager MR Dhana Lal

                      job that can be done in 3 days is taking more then 23 days still am not sure how long it will take

                      but sitll am not getting proper solution

                      Dear Mr. Manager,

                      I purhcased my Enfield from M/s Amar Autos, 603, Kanti Nagar Main Road, Delhi. This is the biggest ever mistake I did in my Life. The Authorised service centre is so worst that I never saw ever. They dont have any sort of the parts which needs to be replaced under the warranty.

                      It seems that the mechanics in the service centre is not at all qualified. They are just working to get tips from the customers. They dont have any knowledge of the vehicle. This is my personal experience.

                      I have been requesting them to change the carbater piston and hand break switch for the last 5 months now. On last Sunday when I wanted to know whether the part, the reply of the manager Mr. Manoj was - there is acute shortage of the parts, company is not supplying the requested quantity of the parts, what can we do???

                      Dear Sir, is the reply of the AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE? Or Royal Enfield Company thinks that We, the customers are fool and to invest Rs. 1, 13000/- for buying the products which has not spare parts??????

                      I request to the MD of the Company to please interven and make sure that the poor public should not suffer by buying the useless product (Enfield bullet biket).

                      I am govt teacher in the Govt school and have my only hard earned money. I dont have black money to invest and forget. Its better to close down the company and do some other business but not to pick pocket poor buyers.

I logged a complaint to their service station regarding the problem with the self start pinion in the month of April, 2011 & also got assurance that it will be replaced the moment they receive the spare from the company as there was shortage going on.                         I paid an advance of Rs 1000/- in November 2010 at the Bandra showroom and was informed that I would get the allotment after 3 months. On 8th Feb I paid an amount of Rs 1,13,961/- I eventually got my bike on 3rd March, 2011. After a waiting period of 4 months I got my long awaited bike which I was so eager to have as i had heard so much. Prior to this bike I had 6(SIX) other bikes. Assuming this would be great I purchased the ROYAL enfield.

                        Right from day one it has giving me starting problems. I have to kickstart for 10/15 mins after opening the choke. It starts and then stops again. This happens around 2/3 times. I even hurt my knees as the kickstart gave way as there was no resistance in the kick. Thus damaging my knees for which I had to take antibiotics for 5 days. I was informed to go to Malik Service Centre which is at Kurla East for my first service. Went for the first service on 12th April, 2011. I told him the problems I am facing with the bike but his action was to change the oil and the filter. And he charged me Rs 870/- without giving me a bill and did nothing to improve the performance of the bike. He further stated that there was a kick paul problem and he would get the the part from the company in a day or two and call me back. But has not done so.

                        On 15th April, 2011 I went to the showroom at Bandra (from where I purchased the bike) and they directed me to the service Spark Motion at Grant Road. They said they will call once the locate the fault (problem) I am still waiting for their response.

                        This bike seemed to have not been checked for quality or I have been given a SECOND hand??? I DREAD TO RIDE THE BIKE ...this was to be the bike of my dreams. I WANT a replacement or want my money back. I wish to sue this company. Please advice how I can go about this.

                          Hi All,
                          I am a resident of Baroda, Gujarat. I have bought a bike from a Mechanical(remodeller of bikes) and not the Royal Enfield Company. So no issues against the company or the dealer.
                          The mechanic had showed me an engine and its papers showing that it was brought from an Army Auction. We chose to keep the engine only and modify the entire bike as per design selected by both o[censored]s. He told me once the bike is ready, we can take it to RTO and get it passed and get the RC book and the registration number.
                          We fixed the deal at Rs. 55k.

                          Over a period of time, I paid him Rs. 45k. Now the final touches and fittings are pending in the bike. Also he says that the registration would take around RS. 10k which he is demanding extra above the agreed deal.

                          I enquired in the market and he seems to be a character who is not honest to deal with. Anyways its too late now. I took the bike in my possession and am afraid to drive it without papers. Any help on how to get the papers done.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,

                            This is Ganesh S owns the Royal Enfield Thunderbird Vehicle no - TN07 AV 6720 which was bought on Feb 2008. I met with an accident on Dec 18th 2010 near new secreteriat for no mistake of mine. It has been clearly mentioned in the FIR.

                            I gave the Vehicle to repair and service on 22nd Dec 2010 to Southern Motors, Mount Road (Royal Enfield registered Service Center). I have insured the vehicle with New India Assurance and the Surveyor visit has happened in the following week and he has mentioned as C&R (Check & Repair) , unfortunately this has not brought to my notice either by Service center or Insurance company. There was a huge delay from Royal Enfield until Mid of Feb due to some shipping issues , hence Parts did not arrive to start the work for our vehicle. Though I was struggling a lot without a vehicle , accepted the fact with patience.

                            On the first week of March , work has started and I came to know that Main Frame of the Vehicle was not replaced instead the old broken one was welded and fixed in the vehicle. I was quite upset with this incident and fought with Insurance company to give me the approval for new Main Frame to replace the old one , for which Insurance company agreed on 12th March 2011. Only after that Royal Enfield Service Center informed us there is no supply of Main Frame for 2008 model Thunderbird Vehicle and that was sent as an email to me on 22nd March 2011.

                            I am surprised and shocked to hear this from Royal Enfield which is known for running long years. How come 3 year old vehicle parts does not have a supply? I have sent this information to [protected]@royalenfield.com today (24th Mar 2011) and expecting some action from their side.

                            Please let me know how to proceed further to make sure I get the new and proper parts for my vehicle. Is filing a case in consumer court is the only option ?

                            Note: Has anyone else faced this kind of issue and guide me on how to proceed further.

                            Not only you... Most of the RE customers are facing the same problem...
                            One of my friend told that... He is not getting any spares of his 2007 model Electra 5s.
                            On 3rd month from the date of purchase it's battery was not working, they took 4 months to replace the battery in gurantee period. Again after 2 months it's self starter stopped working (In gurantee period) and still they couldn't repair it due to the unavailability of spare parts.
                            He drove this 4 years old bike only 17000 kms (He would like to drive it, But the bike is not co-operating)

                            When I asked to many RE Customers, most of them told me get rid of an irreponsible company like RE.
                            It's my opinion to avoid such companies like Bajaj, RE, LML etc... and confirm the availability of spares before buying a bike...

                              I have booked a bike in pune from Dhone on 20th Nov 2010 (classic350 maroon, receipt number 3434).its mensioned on your website that you will get a delivery of the bike in 45 days, lets say approx 2-3 months.now its been 120 days from the time of booking.when i asked the dealer, he says you need to wait for 8-12 months from the time of booking.i dont understand, why you guys are behaving like this, you know how frustrating it is to wait for 8-10 months just to get a bike, even i am paying the whole amt in hard cash.if the company will still carry this attitute, then they are scruing their own image which was nicely made by british people.this bike is a legand and now as this is the indian company, whosoever managing it............they really dont know how to carry this brand.people trust you because its name and fame, they dont expect you to give this in return as i read the complaints about delivery, parts, getting avoided when claim, faulty starters, waiting. This is the request to whosoever run this company, please change this attitude, unless people will stop trusting you and one day you need to wind up your business.

                                I purchased Royal Enfield bullet from East India Agro(Dealer, Kolkata). Within 3 months the silencer started giving issues and I reported the same to dealer but the replacement was delayed over and over again and then I finally made a complaint to the customer care of Royal Enfield. After that I was assured that the silencer would be replaced but it was not done so.

                                  I bought the same model in Mar 2009 it has oil leak problem and its not solved after giving my bike for nearly dozen time in 2yr i had file complaint without lawyer in Distric forum which was reject based on my signature on "job card' which have pre printing mentioning "I have received vehicle with satisfactory service"
                                  as i was not aware about the same they have used against me and proved that my intentions are wrong as i have already signed the job card.

                                  in short if you face the problem with your bike, be very specific about making a note on both the side of job card saying you still face the problem after earlier repair, and if the problem will discontinue after 200 to 300km you will give satisfaction note seperatly.

                                  collect all the zerox copy of Job card (both side) after you put the above note, ensure job card is properly filled and no space is blank, if it is than put a big cross so no amendment can be made afterwards by dealer.

                                    I had deposited LS order for Thunderbird on 27 Jan 2011 at JAYCEE motors, Amritsar. The bike has not come to the showroom as yet. This is very unfair as already 55 days have paased and still no definite dates from the dealer. the dealer has confirmed availability before i made the payment. I ve been approaching the supply chain of the comapny and customer service as well but to no avail.
                                    I had deposited booking amount on 13 June 2013 for classic 350 at Sareen motors, Kanpur. The bike has not come to the showroom as yet. This is very unfair as already 3 months have paased and still no definite dates from the dealer. the dealer has confirmed availability before i made the payment. I ve been approaching the supply chain of the comapny and customer service as well but to no avail.

                                      The dealer inform me that there is a waiting period for the bike & I had to wait for 3month.
                                      However, after waiting for the said period. I had not recived my bike. Infact I was told to wait for another month

                                        only 3000kms bike run but really i m very frustrated with the service of Royal enfield bullet
                                        I have a problem with my bikes its self is in engine from the very beginning it was not working and i I approach to dealer but he can't give me response.
                                        Please help to solve this problem

                                        I am very much disappointed with the service of royal enfield . no one is taking this issue seriously regularly I sent a lot of email ids of senior officer & nodal officer of enfield DEPARTMENT but I did not understand why they have not personally contact us.



                                        If the Royal bullet self funtion is not put into use by you or your authorized representatives, I will be left with no other option but to seek the legal assistance of the appropriate forum to get my grievances redressed. I am not really happy with the way that your after care service centre is functioning, since they are simply interested in charging the customers rather than addressing the issue/problem rightfully.



                                        I hope you will understand my mental agony and the problem I have been facing all these days and set the issue amicably since it is the responsibility and duty of the producing firms to attend to the customers’ needs.
