I had purchased a Twin Spark RE Thunderbird 350 from your authorized dealer here in Ahmedabad , namely Royal Riders Dealer Code 4380 located near the Stadium Cross Roads , Opp Vipul Dudhiya Navrangpura .The Motor cycle was purchased on 13th June 2012. The Engine No is ME30355COCE152061 and the Frame No is U35ECOCE152001. The Motorcycle is regularly serviced at the authorized dealership workshop. Sometime in the month of November , the workshop was informed about certain mechanical defects and paint related issues in the motorcycle. The RHS of the front fork was showing leakage of oil from the top end. Twice the vehicle was sent to the dealership point and each time the service manager assured me that the problem is rectified, but unfortunately even after the passage of almost five months the issue persists. When ever I try to call up the service manager,I am directed to a diffrent person , saying that there has been a reshuffle in the portfolios and almost every time I am made to speak to a new person and have to explain the problem all over again. Twice I also spoke to the owner , who would always give me sweet talk and plenty of assurances but to no avail.Now Mr Harsh who is supposed to be the new workshop incharge at Royal Riders does not attend to my calls on the the phone and just sends me an sms saying that he is busy and shall get back to me in 15 mts . I am still waiting for those 15 mts to get over for the last 5 months and even after repeated calls.Since he does not communicate with me on the phone I have tried getting in touch with him through sms , where in he has just provided assurances to me . I still have some parts of this communication stored on my phone.Now coming to the warranty issue . The front mudguard of the vehicle as well as the battery cover of the vehicle is showing signs of the paint peeling off due to a manufacturing defect , the paint has swelled up , that it is a manufacturing defect was confirmed by the dealer and he had verbally assured that they have called for the parts and the same shall be replaced under warranty . This complain was also lodged in the month of Nov Dec. 2012.When I inquired in January about the replacement of the parts I was informed that the parts had come but they accidentally fixed on another vehicle. I was shocked by the totally unprofessional attitude of the dealer, yet I told then to order new parts. That they will order then ASAP , was the assurance given to me in January.He also assured that in case if the parts get very late in coming he would borrow said the parts from some other dealer and do the needful on my vehicle.But alas !! even after the passage of so much time , there is no one at the dealership who listens to my problem or tries to resolve. Sometime in February end I was informed that only the mud guard has been dispatched and the battery cover will come latter. But even as of today the parts are not available with the dealer.I don't know whether they were never ordered or never dispatched !!! As a last resort , I am writing this mail for your intervention so that the problem could be resolved amicably

    Using parts from damaged vehicles in new vehicles

    Sir,

    I am a Royal Enfield Customer. I bought a Royal Enfield Classic 350cc Motor Cycle (please see at the bottom for the vehicle details) from Royal Enfield Brand Store at Edappally on 17-May-2011. I have done the entire free service and 3 paid service from the service Centre in this same store. There was a manufacturing defect in the back seat of the vehicle. I had pointed out this to the service Centre guys on the first service...

    I, Mr. Sanman S. Kharat, working as Electrical Engr Inspection Officer in BES&T (BMC Undertaking), Mumbai. i had booked a RE Classic chrome 350 bullet on 4th March 2012. the refund cheque was drawn on 24th Aug 2012. The officials at Royal Enfield Navi Mumbai Brand Store Plot No.16, Sector - 1,Sion - Panvel Highway,Nerul Navi Mumbai 400 706 , didn't informed me once telephonically as well as by email. I was keeping a regular followup on this subject, but these officials said that it's still in process. when i gave a routine visit in mid- December 2012, they handed me the post validity cheque. they dont even bothered to check the date of that Cheque. Now i had submitted the post validity cheque and request you to send again the Cheque. I had took a acknowledgment from Mr. Ganesh, one of the official in Royal Enfield Navi Mumbai Brand Store Plot No.16, Sector - 1,Sion - Panvel Highway,Nerul.
    I had a telephonic conversation on 21st Jan 2013, and has been informed by a person that he will ask Mr. Ganesh to look into the matter and inform me telephonically. but it seems they aren't bothered in this matter.

      This is Anil Suri from Delhi, I bought a Royal Enfield Thunderbird new model(TBTS) 350 on 18/11/2012.
      Registration number: DL 14S C 1489
      Engine number: U3S5COCM199677
      Chassis Number : ME3V3S5COCM199677

      It has been a pleasure riding the vehicle at most for only 3800 kms approximate.

      After that I found that there is some problem with the REAR disk AND DIGITAL SPEEDO METER. The bike skids whenever I touch the REAR Disk. I reported the problem to RE service centre in DELHI. Every time they tell that the problem is corrected and before I reach home I found that the problem is still there. I call them again and wasted so many weekends with them. I never did any ride more than 200kms for at least 2 months, because I am afraid to go for a long ride because of the problem. Every time I leave my bike for 3-4 days in service station.

      Then nearly after every week in the service centre for 2 months. There also they try to fix the problem. They took nearly 1 day and gave the bike. It was working for nearly a 4 DAYS.

      Again I found the same problem and another problem of the DIGITAL SPEEDO METER. This time again I started going every week to the service centre and got frustrated up to the limits. Then I called executive customer head of Delhi “Royal Enfield Company Show Room" in DELHI and I told I am frustrated of this problem.

      Now the vehicle is in warranty so may be they replace now for free. But what will I do if the problem Continues. Because I think the problem is with the entire machine and comes periodically.
      Because this seems to be problem, problem and problem only motorcycle.

      Nearly for every week I have spent 2-3 days in service centre maintaining the bike. I am in height of frustration.
      As a normal,I need two wheeler to commute. Without it I have to spend at least 200 rupees every day for daily transport.
      Every time I go to service centre again I have to spend 200 rupees for commuting.
      I am just frustrated of this bike with problem always. It was my dream buying RE machine, now it has become a nightmare for me.
      I am not able to concentrate in my work because my hard earned money is wasted and this machine spoiled my dreams.
      I have to follow-up with them. Whether I do my job or run behind the service guys to get the problem fixed.

      Can you please act on this because the problem seems to have coming again and again in regular intervals? I was never even happy riding this continuously for 500 kms.
      I sometimes even regret buying this. But as a fan of RE from my childhood, I still stick with the machine full of problems.I have done servicing as and when required may a bit more. More than a service per month. I treat my bike like a child but still not able to afford it because of the problems.

      Can you please check the root cause of the problem and fix it so that I don’t have to face problems again and again.I am afraid of taking this machine out because of the problems and the time the service guys have taken to fix the problem.

        i bought a royal enfield motor cycle on march 2010 . the company had manufacturing defect in a box which lead the bike to have missing when the engine runs . the company also offered free replacement but their was no information about it , i want to replace that bike and even engine sounds very strange . the company also closed its showroom from shimla . and now i am left with none of any good option rather filing a complaint against the company . 0-[protected] is my mobile num . please fetch me some help

          I HAVE PURCHASES BULLET ELECTRA ON DATED 22-03-12 FROM AMAR AUTOS,KANTI NAGAR,DELHI,AFTER DOING THREE REGULAR SERVICE FROM DEALER THERE WAS SOME PROBLEM IN FR DISC BRAKES,I COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM TO DEALER HE ANSWERED ME THAT THE FAULTY MASTER CYLINDER WAS OUT OF STOCK 7 WITH IN TWO-THREE DAYS HE ARRANGE & REPLACED,BUT TILL DATE HE WAS NOT ARRANGE THE MASTER CYLINDER OF SAID VEHICLE.BECAUSE THE BRAKE IS THE MAIN PARTS OF DRIVING HENCE WITHOUT THIS THE BIKE WAS STANDING IDEAL.THE SERVICE IS VERY POOR & NO RESPONSE FROM DEALER SIDE.

            Dear Sir,

            I buy the bike Thunderbird Twinspark on 25 June 2012 with the Trust of What Royal enfield name have in India and in me as well.
            But I lost the trust on Royal enfiled Totally. The bike was giving me so much problem, every time there is the different problem.
            It 5th time yesterday(5 dec. 2012) am calling the person to start my bike from service center and as usually it has been taken down to the service center.
            I am wondering that this is the new bike and giving this much of problems.
            Royal enfields service center's (Nerul Branch Navi mumbai) do something and start the bike.But the problems are not stopped.
            Its been told me by Royal enfields service center that they have change once the piston, once the Wiring, and once the Plugs and many more.
            Now i really don't want to use this bike any more.Cant continue with this problem giving bike.
            I really need my money back or the replacement with another new bike.

            Please take any serious action with above complaint or am going to case the file in consumer court against the Royal enfield.
            Somebody Please help me to know how should i proceed to get my Money back or the replacement of my bike.

              I have purchased Royal Enfield STD UCE 350.

              after 1.5 month the gear shifter is become damage service center ( synergy - sakinaka ) said.

              Royal enfield is ruining their quality.

              what is doing their QC department??????????????

              Royal Enfield is very reputed company and here in india they are not tracking for their quality assurance.

              in service center also they are not responding properly.

                sir i Mr Ajay Oka residing at mimbai has purchased a royal enfield motar cycle (standard Bullet 350 ) from the company showroom at bandra (west) but they have sold me a manufacturing defective vehicle on 28/06/2012
                i wrote many emails and sent my bike for repairs at there authorised work shops but the problem could not b solved. the bikes engine makes a lot o[censored]nusual rough sound and now the bike is kept in there custody they are forceing me to collect the bike as it is and not ready to communicate also.
                i have serverd them a lawyers notice but still they are not responding now i am planning to go to consumer forum and file a case of cheating on them can u help me in this matter

                  Hello Sir,

                  I'm Edwin Joseph.C from Chennai, Tamilnadui. I got my new classic 350 (Maroon) two and a half weeks back from Balaji Motors, Tondiarpet !
                  Am facing a serious problem in my bike in just two weeks. Extensive Oil leakage below the engine tank after i park the vehicle.

                  I have given it for service to Balaji motors again, and still am facing the same problem !!!!!
                  If this problem gets repeated, the engine may get seized I really need support to sort out this issue before anything serious happens to my bike.

                  i dont feel secure on the service they render due to repeated problem. After paying so much money and getting a new bike(1,30,000) , they don't seem too respond well !!!!!! This is annoying...

                    I booked Royal Enfield Classic 350 (SILVER) on 19/10/2012 in Prem Auto Enterprises, Jwalapur, Haridwar, U.K with promised date of delivery 28/10/2012. But after that they are saying within 1 or 2 days we are giving you delivery. one day it was extreme that they said be prepared with your cash & other formalities we are giving you today itself. now its dhanteras & now also i am not getting it. please help me.

                      I am Dr.V.DileepNag from Nellore. I have booked a vehicle ‘CLASSIC 350 BLACK’ on ‘August 1st 2011’ and paid an advance of Rs.1000 to your authorized dealer ‘AMPS Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., Mini Bypass Road, Nellore’. After that for a period of one year three months we have been inquiring for the vehicle several times, but they were just postponing the delivery of the vehicle. Though it was my childhood dream to buy enfield, now I have lost the interest to buy your vehicle, hence I request you to pay back the money as early as possible. Even there is a talk that if you bribe them, you will get the vehicle on the same day. Whatever it might be, I request you to pay back the amount. The MR number of the receipt is ‘460’. I am attaching the scanned copy of the receipt and order form.

                        I had booked a Royal Enfield on last week of September by paying Rs.5000/- as a initial payment for booking.
                        I received a call from the officials of Royal Enfield on 29 September 2012 for full payment, promising me about the delivery of vehicle on 15 October 2012, when I make a full payment on 01 Oct 12. I had made a full payment Rs.1,07,030/- on 01 October 2012 as they promised delivery on 15 Oct 12. But, they failed to keep their promise and they refused to pick my phone calls. I went personally for more than five times, after 15 Oct 12, they assured me to deliver the vehicle with in two days every time. At last I had to cancel my order in order to get my cash back after one month. I am fully disappointed and totally disrespected by the Royal Enfield Officials. I felt like they had cheated me.

                                I Bought a Royal enfield (electra)2011 model from rohtak outlet on may 2011.According to company its body is very strong but here in 17 months its body has damaged from downside of engine.its very costly bike. And according to me they charge a lot but according to cost material is very cheap.and now when i went on outlet they said its out of warranty. please help me and try to change damaged part of its body asap.

                                  Hi,

                                  My name is Victor Joseph and i own a Enfiled bullet 350 CC (KA 17 E 6724). I had given my bike to service in Mehboob Garage J.C Nagar Bangalore. I had given this service in the month of July. During this service, Mehboob garage had completely worked on my engine and the gear case system. He had charged me close to 16000. In addition to this i had bought a new Boar from authorised spare parts (Fixwell motors in J.C road) which costed me Rs. 4500. During this service, i had also lost my battery and he had replaced it with the new one.

                                  After i completed with the first service i.e after 1000 Km from the above service, i had problems with mileage and starting problems. I had approached mehboob garage and he changed the carbureto Mainr jet (from 90 to 75). He said the carburetor needs to be changed.

                                  Later i had bought a new carburetor (Mikarb VM24) from chennai and got it changed. Still i could not get a propoer mileage and also had problems with the engine running. The engine used to stop off and the pulling was very less.

                                  Then i had to give my vehicle again to mehbood garage and he said there was a gasket problem and he replaced the gasket again. When i took the bike back immediately within 2 days i could find the oil was erupting out from the engine. Again i approached him and he said they did not tighten a net properly. He gave back my vehicle in anothe 2 days. I drove the vehicle for one day from then and the second day again there is a oil leakage. Now i have again dropped my vehicle to him. I have opened several job cards on this. In a span of 10 days, i have given my bike 3 times to him with the same problem and it has still not been fixed.

                                  I have also spoken to Pritam who is incharge of this service centre. I am totally disatisfied with the kind of service and the response i receive from this garage. Mr. Feroz who is incharge over there always says to change this and that and after changing it i dont see a proper performance on the engine. He also asked me why did i complain to pritam about this.

                                  Need your help on this.

                                      Hi,

                                      I have noticed that Teknik Motors(Bangalore) does not do anything as part free service. I have noticed that they just do water wash and hand over the bike. I problems described in job card will still be remaining. They are just fooling people by charging 150/- Rs for Lubricant and Consumption and Top up oil. I have not even seen single drop of oil/lubricant applied on break,chain or anywhere for that matter.

                                      Even the water wash was not proper.
