Sir, I have purchased Machismo - 500 on 19 Sep 09, and till date (29 Oct 09) my vehicle is not registered with RTO (Pen). Whenever, I approach Enfield Showroom, Nerul, Navi mumbai, They dont have time to talk and explain the situtaion to customer. This is the worst customer experience i ever had in my life. I brought the same to Region Manager, navi Mumbai, but he is also not responding well. in view of the above request register a complaint against Royal Enfield Showroom, Nerul, Navi Mumbai and take necessary actions for not to refer in future with any customer

I put down a deposit of 10, 000 rupees each for two Royal Enfield Classic 500s. On my receipt it was written that I would receive the bikes within 30-45 days. The company failed to deliver. When challenged, they evaded answering direct questions and only under pressure admitted that the only reason for their failure to honour their contract was that they have over committed themselves. The assumption that I (and 25 other customers to date at the same Pune dealer) should be happy to just wait is unquestioned by Royal Enfield. They should be ashamed of their dealings which are not only irresponsible, but also illegal. It is not only the dealer at fault, it is the whole ethos of the company which has failed to institute ethical business practice.
This must be brought to consumer forum and a big compensation should be made to these sellers. I am too suffering with the same situation. This is not good for such a royal brand.
My name is Ratheesh Kumar and I am using classic 350 new model. I purchased my classic on 04.11.2011. And I am not having a good experience with that bike. I found many problems on my bike. My first experience was with the chain, that the chain damaged and you people replaced it. Second one with the carbarator(missing), and they changed the piston valve and the problem cleared. Third one with front disk brake, there is a bend on the disk and after many complaints that also replaced yesterday. Forth one with the petrol tank door, and the mechanic people said that full key set have to change and they changed the full keyset. Now the problem with the wiring, last month exactly on 18.11.2011 friday night when I was riding my classic, it stopped on the road and i cannot start the bike. I called the servicing center and next day they sent one mechanic to my house. He checked the vehicle and said the fuse got fired. He replaced the fuse for me and the very same day (on 19.11.2011) evening again my bike stopped. Problem was the fuse. This time I kept my vehicle on someone's house very near to the place where it stopped. Next day (sunday 20.11.2011) the mechanic came and managed to take the vehicle from there and take it to workshop. After three days i got my vehicle back and they said the problem was cleared. After two days (25.11.2011) it again stopped that also at night time(that means the problem not cleared). Again the mechanic came and he took the vehicle to the workshop. He is saying that the proble was related to some short circuit. From that day my bike is ther in the workshop. Yesterday they replaced front disk brake and tomorrow they will able to give my vehicle. I dont think that the short circuit problem cleared. I spent a lot of money to purchase my new classic. I want to know you people can help me or not ?. One Royal Enfield was my ambition and now I am fed up with the same. I will give you my vehicle details.

Dear Forum,

I am suffering from the same issues as Mr. Ratheesh Kumar. I purchased my bike from Royal Rhino Inc, Baroda on 31st August 2011. Now my bike is lying at the workshop since last 4 days and they want to open my engine as there some default in the engine itself.

I have been complaining to the customer services since last 4 months, about the Royal Rhino Inc workshop inefficiency, unacceptable behavior but nothing has been done from the company's end.

Please i want to register a legal complain and file a case against the company as i suppose there is a manufacturing defect in my bike and even they are not sharing on paper that whts the problem. I demand a replacement and they are not willing to guide me on the procedure.

To have a Royal Enfield was a dream but now it feels like a nightmare. I am not able to share engine number and other details as my book is with them at the workshop.
I have purchased a royal enfield thunderbird motorcycle 3 years back my bike no. is dl9sab0754 on the name of Jameer khan . You know why people want to buy this bike because it is a strong bike . When I buy this bike there is no problem, in last three years I had drive it only 5400 kms . You know this is not a bike this is a problem bike, after one year a part of engine is broken, next the bearing of self is broken, when the mechanic open the bearing it falls like it is made up of glass . In last three years I have spend Rs. 30, 000 on this bike, i had purchased it for Rs. 100000. I am a customer and I have full right to ask what is this happening with the bikes these same problems have been faced by other people also 4 people I know who are facing these same problems . Now I am not able to find the self start bearing, can you replace the bearing for me or I have to take strict action against the company, I am not going to leave the company because this codition of my bike hurts me alot .

I have purchased a royal enfield bullet 350cc standard 5 days back. I'm observing peculiar sounds and informed the same to the showroom guys, the service guys the way they speak is very sad. They really dont know how to talk to a customer. one of the service guy said to file complaint to consumer court and nothing would happen to them. this is how the vizag showroom is. guys. beware.
I have purchased a royal enfield bullet 500cc Desert Storm 6 months ago. I observed that there is a leak from head and i informed the same to the showroom service team at the time of second service, they said that cleared and it happen again. Now its again under repair in your service station(Cochin). I heard its your manufacturing defect for this model, If its happen again what i have to do. I am really concerned about this and trust you guys while i purchase a bike from Royal Enfield. I hope you revert to me asap.

Kings Auto Riders service center Pune is a shame on the Royal Enfield name. i have given them my vehicle for more than 15 days now and they are mentally unable to fix it. They behave like they have been servicing TVS scooty all there life and now after getting some money(as pune ppl are getting by selling there lands) they have bought the dealership. Never ever allow them to even touch your bike. they don't deserve it. bunch of losers. if royal enfield can read this than they should take their name off immediately from Kings Autoriders Baner Pune.
My Name is Paul Alexandar I purchased the Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twins Spark on sep 21 2012 in Chennai Adyar after a month i was taken my vehicle to service in Sri Kalikambal Motors vellore on oct 04 2012 I paid RS 1050 for engine oil and oil filter but within one month im facing problem in the clutch so i taken the vehicle to Chennai kottivakkam showroom on November14 2012 they removed the clutch plate and they said there is no engine oil because of that the clutch plate and the pressure plate has been burnt . Sri Kalikambal Motors Vellore this showroom was cheating the customers they putting the bill but they not changing the oil . Since i drive only 800 kms after service now I’m going to pay nearly 2750 for the spares because of their irresponsibility in the service.

hai paul the same thing happened to me too i took my re 350 in the tambaram service centre to change oil but they returned me the bike without changing the oil i doubted it as the bike came out of the service centre quite fast (generally they take around 5 hrs to change oil!!!)luckily i found out about this before starting. when i asked about this they where unapologetic.
Sonal Motors Thane are the worst service providers in Thane, any thing you ask them they say ask our Bhandup office, Then why has Royal Enfield given them Thane Branch to only Save Actroi and to do Actroi Theft and TAX Theft. Customers are suffering . The staff there is horrible it is little lesser than road side mechanic and Royal Enfield Executives are hand in hand with Sonal Motors. Dealers like Sonal Motors help in decline the brand and its popularity. Royal enfield should think twice while helping them in actroi and tax invasion and think again to close the showroom if service is not given for thane citizens.

when I purchased classic 350.in kaveri auto..at Gujarat in ahemdabad sola road, i fill v.v.good, but after three month my bikes cluch wier is brekdowon on the road, I complain to the delar .he spoke me this deformity always in this modal.i ask him please repeair this function, he told me that wire out of stock in compony.its two or three days take time.i am shoked its answer.
sir its not a major folt .your compony minor cluch wier cheng on two to three day.realy I fill very bed .your compony so larger minor problem solve in two to three days.its disgating about your compony workshop.

      sir i had left royal enfield bullet 1971 model, to engine re-bore to HSR service centre in SR NAGAR off MISSION ROAD.BENGALURU they told me to change all the spares for the bullet piston rings bore head silencer they have charged me only for engine re-bore nothing else 27000=00 twenty seven thousand only. they have not done properly iam unsatisfied same as it was i thought the company people will do better than the other bullet mechanic iam under loss please help me to sort this problem my no: is [protected]

        Hi,
        My name is Rohit Hariharan.
        I have booked a a Royal Enfield Std 350 on 23/0028/2009 with payment by Cash+cheque.
        The payment details include 52,000 cash and the 30,000 cheque(which cleared on 26/08/2009)
        This was done at your Company Showroom (Nerul- Sector 1, plot 44) (Order form Number::656)

        The story begins from here on.

        I was promised that the bike will be delivered with registration on 30/08/2009.
        I waited patiently all this while, however there had been no follow up from them on what the statius of the bike is.
        Its been 17 days now, and the bike is nhot even been commissioned to my name, let alone me having the bike.

        All this while i have had a really painstaking experience handling the unprofessional behaviour with the way my booking has dealt with and the it still continues.

        The entire last week was lost with promises that the the bike will be delivered the next day.
        I have had interactions with almost all of your agents/ managers etc. (Sanjay Yadav, Anis S, Amol, Shiva Ghizad)
        All of them either chose to lie of the situation or not inform me of of what the correct status is.
        I was lied to each time i called with regards to the status of the bilke and each time the lies were only better than earlier.
        The lies include everything from blaming the company to not deliver the bikes on time to blaming RTO for not completing the registration process and also a rider (who is supposed to ferry the vehicle) meeting with a severe accident.
        Every time i was given various numbers to call to check on the status (ideally this should be done by them) and the person used to pick up and would promise to call back and never did. best part is when i try calling the number- it used to either come as barred or switched off or not accepting calls.

        for the last 5 days,after i spoke to Mr Shiva Ghizad, i saw some follow up happening from Amol who said thaere was a confusion and that they were under the impression that i will personally be doing the registration (whoever gave them this idea!-- or yet another lie!). so he said he will get the registratio0n done by Saturday and i should have the bike by Monday (07/09/2009).

        Monday came, but the bike dint. Ah, one more thing came on Monday, the rider got completely wet in the rain and has fallen sick(these guys are brilliant i tell you). so the delivery deferred to Tuesday.
        Tuesday, the bike was to be delivered (after i called them) by 05:00 pm. No bike, No calls!

        Today, i decided to go to the showroom in Nerul and take a first hand account of what was happening(By the way, i stay 56 kms away from the showroom and definitely not a happy ride to make everyday). The story took a drammatic turn from this point on.

        (IF YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST PATIENCE BY THIS TIME- IMAGINE ME LIVING THE STORY- but we are talking RE here, so the story better be interesting thanks to the star cast!!!!)

        I met Anis here, who was surprised and asked me - "oh you still dint get the bike?". I was blank and dint know whqat to react.
        Amol, on the other hand said " Mr hariharan, i'll tell you the truth. I've been busy. we are just waiting for the registration call from the rto"
        I Decided not to wait and take the bike on a TC (CTtemp) number as it was already registered (as per them)
        By then, i met Mr Ghisad and decided to make a complaint about the delay and unprofessional way this thing has been handled. He heard me patiently and said that i will get the bike today and the number tomorrow. This felt good.

        In the Meanwhile Anis was preparing the bike for PDI- and asked me "aapne bike choice kiya?"
        This hit me like a cruise missile- how can i make a "choice" when i am supposed to take the bike with the engine/ chasis number registered!
        So while they were readying the bike, i decided to speak to Sanjay Yadav(who by the way deals with registrations- FYI).
        I was just about to sign the delivery note when i asked him, "so i'll get the number tomorrow, righ??".
        As cool as a cucumber, he replied "ek hafta lag jayega". I stopped righ there and asked him whether the bike has a CRtemp number and whether they have shown the bike in the rto.
        Flashbacks!!!!!!(i could imagine the rider who had crashed- getting up and laughing at me). The answer was no- this is a fresh bike, without even the rto being paid.(they expected me ride a bike without any paper, risk the law??)

        I cried foul and asked for my money to be refunded as this is the limit of my patience.
        I was just wondering why a person like MR Ghisad (who i've know for a few years and also happens to be my good friend's uncle hide the truth and play with the game).

        Sanjay, decided to speak to the owner to check what can be done.
        I think but am not sure his name is Vinod( balding guy with wheatish complexion). I was called inside his cabin and "interrogated" on why i want to cancel- i spilled the entire story. Mr Ghisad/ amol/ Sanjay were all called.
        Here the blame game (read sledging) started between Amol and Sanjay.
        Amol made some starting revelation (which gives this story a unique twist) that he has been "ghumaoing" 35 such customers for over a month. There are no payments coming from Mr Owner to complete the formalities.
        All this actually happened in front of me- A customer/ prospect!!!!
        As per them 2.8 laks have been out of account (missing)for the octroi duties and payment of the RTO agents . The rto agents will not process requests for these 35 bikes (or should i say customers) as the company has failed to pay.

        Mr Ghisad, who was patient all this while told me that you had spoken to me before you had booked the bike , i would have reffered you to Lotus automobiles as this branch is failing with process for more tan a Month now. 35 Customers waiting for more than a month??! he also said same is the case with another Dhoni Automobiles.

        At this point, my patience had taken a new avtaar- let's say Angry young man?
        I wanted my money back- to this i was replied (i am not sure if it was a threat)- you will have to wait longer, you might as well wait instead and take the bike instead.
        He said that he will personally pay for by bike's octroi and get the bike formalities completed in 4 days. This was not ok with me. Sanjay to the rescue--- the answer was 3 days, "saturday ko mil jayega". At this juncture, i had to tell mr Sanjay that RTO is closed on a saturday (Thane RTO is closed every alternate saturday).

        At this point Mr owner and sanjay were ore interested in the sugar levels of their Tea that was being served.
        Any which ways Mr Owner when the drama happened seemed so cool that he knew everything(the look-- Baw!!! tell me something new!)

        I asked Mr Owner, how can i trust you after all this has happened. "You take my card!"- and what??(the suspense continues). I asked him if i wait what's my benefit, he said "you will get the bike".
        I replied- that i am any which ways supposed too long time back. At this comment a wicked smile came to him and he retorted- "so this is what you want"- at this point felt like getting up and stabbing him.
        "i replied back if i wanted that, i would have asked when i booked the bike and not wait for 17 days for this to happen"- he just laughed in a way to say your'e fake.(this really hurt me- as i had paind the entire amount and waited patiently)

        I am simple man, my hard earned money spent on my dreams (bike included), i do not want to get into legalities.
        My only request to the company is, please stop tainting your reputation with such people and such episodes.
        This is one customer's situation of apathy. Even write now while writing this hate mail, my only thought is even if i get the bike what would be its condition, whether the people that is spoke to will display their hurt egos' on my bike? will i get a truly substandard bike(i'll name it the substd 350). what ever happend to happy customer riding away with a smile on his face on his sparkling new bike- this feeling i shall never get any more with a Royal enfield.

          I have been facing problem since the day I purchased new bike and still my problem is not resolved.

          We have informed Royal Enfield (Lamba Service Station, Tilak Nagar Industrial Area) many times but still issue is persisting…..

          Apart from that since day purchased i.e. 05th Nov’08; I have problem of Oil Leakage and while changing Gear and it’s been almost 10 months they are not able to rectify this problem.

          I have reported these issues for than 7 times to them but still have the same issue ongoing….

          I also had a problem with paint of Oil Tank and Headlight mask for that they have replaced headlight mask after 7 months but still Oil tank is not replaced….

          Now I am really frustrated with the services provided by ROYAL ENFIELD as I purchased this bike to have Royal feel but now I am regretting for my decision as since starting I am facing issue and not getting any permanent solution…..

          I will appreciate if you take serious action to take me out of this trouble….

          I have been facing problem since the day I purchased new bike and still my problem is not resolved. I have purchased Royal Enfield Bullet from your kolhapur Branch.

          I have problem of Valve knocking & CDI Unit totaly damaged from last one month.They are not able to rectify this problem.

          I have reported these issues for than 4 times to them but still have the same issue ongoing….

          Now I am really frustrated with the services provided by ROYAL ENFIELD as I purchased this bike to have Royal feel but now I am regretting for my decision as since starting I am facing issue and not getting any permanent solution…..

          I will appreciate if you take serious action to take me out of this trouble….

          I have been facing problem since the day I purchased new bike and still my problem is not resolved. I have purchased Royal Enfield Bullet from your kannur Branch in kerala state.
          I have problem of fork and front suspension from the day i purchased it & my front mud guard get damaged .I have reported these issues for than 4 times and they painted and tell me that have been rectified now but still have the same issue ongoing….
          i am really not in good mood to ride this bullet because of this problem so plz make me any solution in mean time .

            hello sir,

            my name is sameer jalali ...i recently purchased new royal enfield electra 5s from company showroom in nerul which is in navi mumbai...and i got problems with it now n then...they repair it and then again there is some problem...i had recently changed the electric start clutch which they said is faulty...again there came another problem with it...its been just 5 months since i have bought the bike...plz help me...i think there is some company manufacturing fault with it...plz help me...

              Dear Sir

              with reference to below complaints, would like to bring to your notice another unusual problem in your bike, yesterday evening on my way back to home from office, i was driving my bike on about 60kmph speed and all of sudden the oil level indicator(made of glass) got burst ed and engine oil started leaking from the same.

              today i have informed your reputed dealership Kay's Auto about the same and they said bring it to workshop without thinking that engine can seize due to oil leakage, after my request them to attained the complaint at my place since i don't want my bike to get any further damage they told me we will arrange the same, but as of now there is no action has been taken and they are not even bother to revert to me..after 3hrs i called them back to find out about the above said matter they said they are arranging for the part.

              i would like you to take necessary action ASAP.where in i have already lost my faith in Royal Enfield.
              kindly change this bike to me because i cant trust in this particular bike anymore even after rectification of the problem, being an Automobile Engineer by qualification i cant trust it, since it can develop any damages/problems any time.

              This bike has done only 700 kms and troubling me from the very first day of purchase

              1. WHEEL WOBBLING:-
              By the time of delivery from showroom i have noticed that bike is wobbling in slow speed and the same also informed to dealer officials and assured me that during 1st service they will take care for the same.after my two visits for servicing and for the same this has not been resolved yet.they have even replaced the complete RR wheel swing arm, both frt and RR tyres with rim, which clearly indicate that there is some manufacturing defect in my bike.after all this exercise they have told me that they wants Engineer from Royal Enfield to inspect the same.

              2.Handle:-
              Handle was not straight100%. It was slightly distrubed, they have tilt it on other side .didnt even bohter to open the handle bar to resolve the problem.But still the problem is same.now it has started making noise on bumps or ruff roads.


              This bike has done only 700 kms till now, and giving me all troubles from the very first day as it wobbles, their is no stablity on the road, always seems that im driving a bike with puncher tyre.they want me to bring the bike again to their workshop to rectify above said problems which is quite impossible for me as im also into Automobile industry and looking after-sales for a reputated brand like HONDA cars india, kindly arrange to inspect/rectfy the same in Mahadev Agency, Noida as its near by my office and i can leave my bike for complete day.
              With this im lossing confidence in a big Brand like Royal Enfield.

              Kindly look after the same ASAP.

              Yes, i can understand your problem, you should have opted for the royal enfield std 350cc, which in my suggestion is the original bullet, while the rest are all modded.Remember RE is a british motorcycle, they did not make thunderbird, the original bike of royal enfield is only the Bullet std 350.

              This is P.Vijay Benedict, i am working as a s/w engineer in a MNC, at Chennai,
              I bought a Royal Enfield Thunderbird on 28th April 2010 from Adyar showroom(Chennai), and since then I was having Battery Problem, they replaced the battery 4 times, and still the bike has not completed the 400Km, and now the service person told that during the first service, it will be taken care, and now he is telling, he has to check the line or the coil, I think now a days Royal Enfield has lost their Pride, they are not producing good bikes, If it happens again, I will go to Consumer Court, I need immediate response...

              Royal Enfield has to do something to fix my Issue...
              I am also facing engine oil leakage problem. If it is a manufacturing defect then it should be fixed. If I have spent 1.1 lack rupee to own a bike then I can expect a tention free bike.

              i have also booked a thunderbird black on 15 Jun 2010.The bike was to be delivered on 15 Sep, now they say that it would take some more time. what nonsense is this?

              but since from two months i am waiting for delivery of my Thunderbird but suddenly model was changed from the royal enfield, i agree to buy new model but as per your dealer at vadodara, they says that it will take another 4 months.

                i had purchased my bike from a a bike co in south delhi under the name of south delhi motorcycles kalkaji on 25/2/2008 but the bill was provided to me from a different location and of different company m/s lamba enterprises p ltd, jail road, delhi . now the problem is since the date of purchase till now i have not been given my registration card and its been almost 1 year 4 months the company is harassing me and making all sorts of excuses.
                now my main reason of concern is first of all i am not able to to take my bike anywhere without registration card and the second most imp reason being is my suspecion if i have been given some king of defective or some hanky panky stuff . i fail to belive if the registration takes that much time, this shows a high level of incompetance of the company . nothing has been done even though i had made a complaint to enfeild bike co too .
                please can i expect any help in getting registration card from consumer complaints forum

                  Respected Sir,
                  Myself Sunil Kumar, I had purchased the ROYALENFIELD BYKE 4S ELECTRA, CHASSIS NO- 6B700919, ENGINE NO-6B700919H from BRAWAN AUTOMOBILES, GURGAON in the year SEP, 2006. Since that time I have been facing various problems due to negligency of authorised servise station.Please note below mentioned problems.

                  1. WHEEL RIM:-
                  While purchasing, I wish to replace the rim into OLIVE WHEEL. The dealer did the same with extra payment(4000/-) and origional wheel rim put by himself.And told that this is scrap and has not value.After three weeks bearing has broken by front wheel and was changed with payment.Again after two weeks the bearing broken.I said to dealer to solve the problem permanently.He said the wheel are not origional and the problem will be persist.He never told before this thing. I said, you should make me aware before purchasing.He said this was your wish.I said ok. Please change into origional.After all the wheels were changed with extra payment(3000). I asked him for my old origional rim, but he refused.
                  I am not a technician, who can take this type of decision. Such decisions should be taken firmly by the dealers. Ultimately i suffered and piad extra.

                  2. Shocker Problem:-
                  Front Shoker left side leakage is continious from purchaging time.At every time they make me foolish by making temparory solution.i.e- Washer changed. During last service I said strongly, than they said shokerrod damaged.
                  What should i do, please advise.

                  3.Handle:-

                  The same problem I had shown to your engineer, who was on visit that time.But he also replied casually, said this is ok.

                  4. Pick-up:-
                  Byke doesnot run properlysince first service. It vibrates above 50KPH speed and increase simultaneously to the speed. Gears doesnot insert properly. To resolve this problem, once they have changed the clutchplates.But the problem is same.

                  During last servise I decided to leave the byke at dealer servisestation.But they said this is the best.We cannot do more.Last servise was done by 13-14 years old child.Can a child do this properly, and on this basis they said this is our maximum.

                  I suffered a lot of since the byke purchased.Now I am leaving 100km far from servisestation, so cannot go in a week or two week.
                  So please advise what should i do.

                  I have been facing similar problem. My bike(TB Twin spark) is just 4 months old and on my way to munnar from chennai, the gear box jammed, stopping the vehicle with a huge skid.
                  I had been walking to the RE service center for a month with unfixed gearbox problems, registered a complaint to service manager(Mr.Sakthivel) and then they took good care of the bike and gave me in proper running conditions.

                  Now 2 weeks past, Iam hearing engine noise and the gears not applying properly. The next time, this problem occurs, iam going to drive the bike the FACTORY at Chennai.

                  what do you think I must do? and our friend Sunil? We bought Royal enfield for our LOVE for the thump and assuming its the Harley davidson of India.

                  Hello Royal Enfield Team,

                  I have been an Enfieldan for the past five years and the trauma I have been in these days is very worst. It is really shame full for a company like this for not giving much importance in the after sales market. Many Enfield bikes are just stripped and getting rust in the garage just because there is no availability of spares parts. Many are loosing hearts on this magnificent legend because of the pain they receive on owning these bikes. The condition is not only in India but the same in New Zealand, UK and other countries where the dealership exist. We can get the spares of a Norton or BSA very easily but not Enfield. The company is as good as non-existing even it is. A good company’s responsibility does not end only in production but an extended responsibility in valuing its customers and a good reputation in the after sales market.

                  The company should seriously look into these issues:
                  • Customer value.
                  • Well trained Mechanics
                  • Availability of spare parts.
                  • Address the customer queries
                  • Maintain a good after sales market
                  If this pain of an Enfieldan goes on deaf ears, there is nothing much he has to loose except the passion on this machine, but in the track of time you will be a big looser.

Can I have the details to which person I should get in touch with. I have talked to all the manager and they are saying that some of the machine part has been broken in the factory that why the delay occured.

                  since that day my good time converted into worst.

                  1st battery problem.
                  bcoz after 15 day of my purchase my battery was not responsing properly when i talk with that dealer they just answer we cant help it you have to go exide office for battery Quary i went there they told that one cell is damage on ur battery and for that it will take 20 days to replace but it happend after 34 days.

                  2nd problem is my k.m is not showing after 29.9 i talk to dealer they have replace my machine with new one but this is also not showing after 699.9.

                  3rd engine noice... some different sound is comming from engine like it is leak from some place i told told in my second service but they have not taken any action just told come on next service we will go to this...

                  4th disk plate is slight tilted i went to service center on my third service service he accepted that my disk is tilt and he told me that he will replace my disk plate but when i went to receive my bike they told some tilt will be there...
                  but i didnt find at any other bike this problem.

                  5th back madgard is tilted one side again in service center they told it is tilted in every bike so they cant help it.

                  6th few screw were not tight properly bcoz of that my back light is shakind and making noice...

                  i suffered a lot since i purchase the bike and heard lot from my dad for choosing this company and i have decided to take my last service on 24th nov, 2010 if my problem will not taken as seriously by your man i will sell my bike and switch to another company.
                  and have to think a lot to purchase another bike which i was suppose to purchase by this december, 2010.
                  what is your advice for me ?

                  I brought Royal Enfield just 2months ago from bandra showroom, Recipt no 2700, it was working excellently well untim and unless i gave my bike for servicing at andheri which is an aithorsied servcie centre for royal enfeild, this person has screwed my bike, it stops in between of the road as well as it takes a hell lot of kicks to get the bike on, its so fustrating that the bike which was working fine until i gave servcing is giving me this problem im really disappointed with the outcome of the bike after paying so much of hardwork money ..as well as paying 1000rs to servcie person as well .its realy im possible cause after the bike was servcied the clutch plates were burnt which were changed by them free but the bike has really gave me so much of problem that i cant imagine the pain in driving this bike as it also insults me in front of my freinds and family people that i keep giving kicks to my bike please check in please getthe feedback delivered

                  I have the same problem instead i have bullet 350 elektra 5s and it starts vibrating at 80kmph and i did a service check but after that the pickup was low and had an affect on avg. and when i used to start my headlight or tail light or horn it used to stop immediatedly, and when i gave my bike to service AGAIN they stole my petrol about 3 litre.

                  I have also purchased Thunderbird Twinspark from same dealer (Brawn Automobiles, Gurgaon) and since then my bike is giving me one basic problem apart from numerour other problems. The problem is that I get jerk while driving. It feels as if engine is losing current or petrol supply is not proper due to which I am getting those jerks. I had reported this to the dealer and they tried to fix it but no fix was done yet. Later on, 02nd, 03rd and 04th service were done by Lamba Automobiles. So far they have not been able to fix the problem. After service bike works fine for maximum a day or two and then again problem comes up. As per the representative of Lamba Automobiles, whenever I need to visit them, I should have at least 05 to 06 hours and I should not expect the work to be done before it. So, I cannot go there every alternate day reporting the same problem. Coming back to Brawn Automobiles, I had a problem that bike used to turn off itself when stationary. Mechanic in Brawn Automobiles changed the setting and now whenever I turn on the bike, Rev/Min meter always stays at 1.5, which logically means that "ITS FINE THAT I AM STATIONARY BUT MY BIKE IS RUNNING AT 1500 REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE". When I asked the logic of it, he said that this is the only fix to the issue. If I want to get it done, then its fine otherwise live with the issue. So, I had to get it done. There was no fix for them.

                  I would like to ask to Royal Enfeild, if this is the problem that is same with every Thunderbird or if this is the problem with my bike specifically. Here I am referring to two problems as said above:
                  1. Jerks while driving
                  2. Bike getting turned off while stationary and tuning has to be setup at 1.5 to keep it alive.

                  I hope to get a positive response from Royal Enfeild regarding the issue.

                  My true feedback for kings autoriders is they need to be customer focused in this competative edge. My personal experience is very bad with Kings autoriders. I have been following it up for my RC/TC card over a year and the sales representatives are not at all keen to sort out the issue in any manner...After multiple reminders they are not even calling my surname correctly..I'm sure they will train their representatives on how to pronounce their customer names correctly.
                  Now the situation is so bad for me that my bike is out of insurance and to renew it I do not have RC/TC with me.
                  I have been getting answer that my RC/TC has been dispatched in Oct. 2013. On serious note this is a joke done over me as a customer. any post or courier can be delivered to any destination in a months time (by max)..
                  The worst part of kings atuoriders is you will never get a call from them. I must have called and visited their office every month since I received the faulty RC/TC card..and the response is always -ve or no response in favour of you.
                  I'm very disappointed with the service with kings autoriders.

But Today I appear Marikar motors service center for my 4 the free service (KM=9040) But your people not accept my vehicle and treat me rudely. They told me the free service was expire, and need to paid service. Then he need my coupon but I am not ready to pay it off. So he compel me to do the paid service. Is it correct as per your company instruction . If no pls do suitable action against my complaint.

                  Regarding: Non redressal of complaint within warranty period.

                  Sir,

                  This is to inform you that I had bought one Royal Enfield Thunder Bird 350 on 28th September, 2013 from Chandigarh because there is no authorised showroom or service centre in Gorakhpur, I had to go to your authorised service centre at Deoria namely Supreme Motors for getting the service done (about 50 kms away). Through this letter I would like to bring to your notice the hardships and trauma which I had suffered at your authorised service centre and would really appreciate if steps will be taken from your side to resolve my issues on priority basis.

                  The first and foremost this which I would like to bring to your notice that on the service coupon it is very clearly written that bike should be washed but there is no system of washing of bike in the service centre, they say that Bullet is never washed.

                  On the first servicing I had complained about the following two things:
                  1) Meter
                  2) Difficulty of putting the Bike on neutral in start position.

                  The service Manager Mr. Jitendra Sahai assured me that the problems are minor in nature and will be resolved. After some time the bike was returned to me and I was told that the meter will be replaced on second servicing however regarding the second problem I was told that the same has been rectified. I took the bike and went for a ride however I felt that the second problem was still persisting. I again returned and complained about the same however I was told that the problem is temporary in nature and after covering some distance this will automatically resolved. Upon their assurance I returned back.

                  It is important to mention here that there was no improvement in the condition of bike and the assurances which were given were all fake and misleading.

                  That I went for second servicing. The meter was replaced this time. However the second issue remained as it is. I was informed that this issue of gear problem was raised before the company and one expert will be coming to teach the mechanics. I was further assured that in the third servicing it will be definitely resolved.

                  In third servicing, I complained about meter which was changed on the second service in which the digital clock was getting slow day by day, in addition to the above mentioned problems/defects. I clearly told the manager that I will not be taking my bike this time if the problem will not be resolved. Upon this the right section of the engine was opened and the mechanics worked for about 4 hrs. I checked the bike, there was a little improvement in it but after few days the condition became same.

                  In 4th and last servicing which was done on 7th July, 2014 I again complained about the clock getting slow and the problem of gear. As far as my first problem is concerned I was told that the meter has to be changed. Since they were not having the meter a requisition will be sent to the company and will let me know as soon as they receive a new meter.

                  However with respect to my second problem I was told that one rod has to be filed (Ghisna) on leath (shop) on which the selector runs which changes the gear and I was further told that the charges for the work has to be borne by me. I requested them that since my Bike is in warranty period it is necessary and incumbent upon the company to change the part which is not functioning properly. I was further informed that the company doesn’t entertain this type of complaint hence it doesn’t changes the part.

                  I, bonafidely believed on his statement and thereby agreed to his proposal. I was told to pay Rs. 100/- which I did for which I didn’t got any cash receipt. After taking the money the mechanic Mr. Shamshul insisted me to sit in the customer lounge as it will take approx 1 hour. After some time I heard a sound that something is getting filed on a filing machine. I went to the mechanic and complained that when he was doing the work in the service centre only then why was he charging. Upon this the mechanic became angry. I complained this to the Manager who intern replied that do whatever you can but please don’t visit the service centre from the next time. After the servicing was over I took my bike and returned.

                  Sir till today both the problems which were existing at the time of first servicing are yet to be resolved and I am unable to find the solution to my problems as the act and conduct of the mechanic as well as the service Manager of your authorised service centre was highly derogatory and unethical.

                  Please look into the problems stated above and suggest me the solution as my bike’s warranty will be over in the month of September 2014 failing which I will be forced to initiate legal action for the redressal of my grievances.

                    Hi,
                    This is Raja Rengasamy, I bought a Royal Enfield Machismo 500 on 06/06/2008.
                    Registration number : MH02 BF 9788
                    Engine number : 03379B
                    Chassis Number : 03379B
                    It has been a pleasure riding the vehicle at most for only 400 kms.

                    After that I found that there is some problem with the front disk.
                    The bike skids whenever I touch the Front Disk. I reported the problem to RE service centre in Andheri.
                    Every time they tell that the problem is corrected and before I reach home I found that the problem is still there.
                    I call them again and wasted so many weekends with them. I never did any ride more than 200kms for at least 3 months,
                    because I am afraid to go for a long ride because of the problem. Every time I leave my bike for 3-4 days in service station.

                    Then nearly after every week in the service centre for 2 months, I changed to Shrada motors Goregaon West service centre as suggested by the people in Bandra showroom.
                    There also they try to fix the problem. They took nearly 10 days and gave the bike. It was working for nearly a month.
                    Again I found the same problem and another problem of the bike wobbling.
                    This time again I started going every week to the service centre and got frustrated up to the limits.
                    Then I called "Royal Enfield Company Show Room" in Neerul and I told I am frustrated of this problem.
                    I keep falling every 10-15 days. I told them I cannot ride the bike with this problem knowing I can fall any time.
                    I stopped taking pillions and still never went for a long drive till that time.
                    The service centre in nerul took 4 days and told that the problem is solved but again the problem came before I reach home.
                    Again I gave my bike next day and again they took 5 days to solve the problem. At least I was happy that the problem is solved this time.

                    Then I planned for a long trip to my place. Just before 10 days of my trip the one way clutch was jammed and broken. They have replaced it taking a week time.
                    This trip is the only time I enjoyed riding the machine. But during the trip also the machine broke down in the destination.
                    Again with the service centre guys for a week when I was in home.
                    New problem started again after coming back.
                    Now I am seeing white smoke coming out of my machine.
                    Initially the problem was small. Only during the start of the machine Smoke was coming.
                    I asked about that to the service centre in Goregaon West. They told because of the fuel overflow the smoke is coming.
                    Then after some days The smoke started coming while riding also. The oil was reducing fast and I have changed oil 3 times in 2 months.
                    Then they told there may be a leak in the combustion and they will fix it. Now white smoke is coming like it comes from the vehicle that is used for killing Mosquito in streets.
                    They told that the Piston rings must be gone. You have to replace the Piston (which will cost a lot).
                    Again I have given my vehicle to the service centre and waiting for last 4 days.
                    Now the vehicle is in warranty so may be they replace now for free. But what will I do if the problem continues. Because I think the problem is with the entire machine and comes periodically.
                    Because this seems to be problem, problem and problem only motorcycle.

                    I have spent 1.15 lakhs for one trip till now and loads of time in the service station and in the hospital because of the defects.
                    Nearly for every week I have spent 2-3 days in service centre maintaining the bike. I am in height of frustration.
                    As a normal Mumbaikar I need two wheeler to commute. Without it I have to spend at least 200 rupees every day for daily transport.
                    Every time I go to service centre again I have to spend 200 rupees for commuting.
                    If you calculate all these things I have spent nearly 15, 000 rupees for travelling unnecessarily, even after buying the most trustable, expensive, powerful motorcycle in india.
                    I am just frustrated of this bike with problem always. It was my dream buying RE machine, now it has become a nightmare for me.
                    I am not able to concentrate in my work because my hard earned money is wasted and this machine spoiled my dreams.
                    I have to follow-up with them. Whether I do my job or run behind the service guys to get the problem fixed.

                    Can you please act on this because the problem seems to have coming again and again in regular intervals. I was never even happy riding this continuously for 500 kms.
                    I sometimes even regret buying this. But as a fan of RE from my childhood, I still stick with the machine full of problems.
                    I have done servicing as and when required may a bit more. More than a service per month. I treat my bike like a child but still not able to afford it because of the problems.

                    Can you please check the root cause of the problem and fix it so that I don’t have to face problems again and again.
                    I am afraid of taking this machine out because of the problems and the time the service guys have taken to fix the problem.

                    all the bullet people to day after getting my appoiment for macismo 500 i reached late at 1.30pm afternoon insted of 11 am mr PRASANA OF NERUL BRANCH SERVIC CENTER.wellcome me with bad words b*en cho*d why did u come late today at 1.30 (27/5/2009) day for my bike servic for pre monsoon.i was stunned, some one told me it is because he was not in the good mood .i sad ok. i was sitting their for 5 hr and they did good job of chainging my bike spark plug insted of bike service wich need more attenction.
                    i wanted to complain but rude reaction even from in charge manneger of the royalenfild company service station i spoke to gisad who sounded goood but after that i waited for 2hr and then as the coustemer of royal enfild i folded my hands saying namesta and return back home.what can anyone do when u can not even complain because nerul company servise station dose not have a complain book.i know why all company doing more sales then this wounderfull bike knows as royal bullet

                    So many times we complaint the dealer that my vehicle at night when all lights are on the vehicle starts jerking and stops, but no action has been taken. This problem is since the time of purchase and its been 5 months. Even no proper answer is given neither they bother.

                    So, kindly see to the problem and rectify the error as soon as possible. I am physically and mentally harassed by this problem . I am scared when I even drive and it can even lead to a big accident. Hope for your quick positive response.

                    royal enfeild standard — starting problem

                    i purchased enfeild bike from kollam marikar show room.Now Second service is over.my problem is related to starting .I have to kick several time especially in the morning.i complained this in the showroom,they changed the headlight and tail lamp bulb.it considerably reduced the power of light.still the starting problem existing.because of this problem i am using 100 cc bike often.
                    i hope the problem is related to the electrical session thats why the company changed the bulbs.it is a greater responsibility of the company to rectify the problem .

                    i am writing this complaint on Feb 2010, Its a new bike i have purchased, but from the date of purchase i am facing lots of problem with the bike as below :
                    1- Fork right side oil leaks
                    2- Engine Noise
                    3- Bad form in the seats, which increase my spinal paid
                    4- Offen getting punched
                    5- Oil leaks in the engine casing
                    6- Bad sticker alignment in the tank.
                    7- Head Light offen getting fused.
                    8- Chain Loose is happening offen
                    9- While raising the bike, there is a huge vibration in the tank and the shock-observer.
                    10. Noise while shifting the gears.

                    So, all together i am giving up my hope in the Bullet segment.

                    So, please help me to solve this problem, kindly take up this issue to your management urgent, so that no other customer will suffer due to this problem

                    I've marked mails and i got very good response...
                    Well, I am using a Machismo 500cc since Aug 2007 ( I had a 1967 bullet before that). I have done 37000+ kms in it. the only problem I have faced is with Spag Clutch(self start) which I have removed permanently. Since then she is awesome.

                    >>Guys, bullets are NOT MEANT FOR DAILY COMMUTING in busy streets. IF YOU ARE NOT PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUR BIKE, Bullet is NOT THE BRAND FOR YOU.

                    >> People who know their Bullets dont take it to RE showrooms, they are scoundrels where ever it may be.

                    >> Please try and spend some time understanding the bike first. Its NOT A 100CC AUTOMATIC PLASTIC BIKE. It needs a owner who knows her well and the owner should be the first person to understand what is going wrong with the bike.

                    So dont keep complaining like sissy girls and write emails which will be of no good. Evolve, understand and Ride on..

                    Dear RE Fans and Followers, I have my own dirtiest experience with RE. Every RE owner and prospect, please go thru this. When i was 14 yrs i rode my uncle's Bullet STD, from that day i dreamt of owning one RE for me. In my college day i almost bought an used RE but some how bought a splendor as my first bike. After education started working for a sofware firm, decided to buy an RE. But some way or the other due to finance probs, personal probs and other commitment, owning an RE was left a dream for 5 more years. I got married, got a flat, got car too. When my wife learnt about my passion towards RE she persuaded me to book a RE and we both went to RE showroom in Bangalore and paid 10K as advance for TB twinspark on May 2010, i have been said the waiting time is 45-60 days.
                    As usual i faced with the delays and postponing of the delivery date and letters from RE explaining the delay etc etc...
                    One fine morning on October 22nd i completely lost my patinence and went to RE and wanted a final say about the delivery they said they cannot promise the D date and if i wish they will give back my advance money. They also said that there were customers who have paid full payment and waiting for the bike for months. God save those guys!!! Atlast i opted for taking back my advance. i got the cheque next week to my home.

                    Some how i cant able to digest or forget this experience. When ever i and my wife go out, i used to talk about RE when ever we see some one riding a TBird.

                    one fine morning on my Birthday on December 15th my wife gave me the surprise for a life time to cherish.
                    she gave the key of a brand new silver color TBird.

                    I was shocked how she managed and what i got to know was the horrific stab for every prospective customer waiting anxiously for their REs to get delivered.

                    My wife got the Thunderbird by paying the full amount + **********(12K extra as commision)********

                    Is not it cruel enough... i got a TB which is scheduled to be delivered to some one...

                    I thought of disowning the Tb gifted to me but i dont want my wife to get hurt and kept the TB with me.

                    Now all the people please know there is a nexus operating and cashing in the passion of the Customers'...
                    Dont know how will it be tackled...Just wanted to share my experience...

                    More importantly...every customer, whose delivery date is skipped or postponed...the fact is your bike is getting delivered to some other who is paying an extra premium...
                    Hallo Mr roy and govindarj, try to understand others frustration they are not sitting ideal like you to keep looking after baby bike. They have better work to do. Being passionate is just a part of life. we all can streach our hands only to which we can reach. After all it just a machine. u cant speak to ur bullet and mend things. Do it an show then we all sufferers will accept. Please dont degrade others and you talk bull . RE is no ones property not its Indian brand. Its a gift given by british to survive so dont be so proud. good luck with your bike and remember you bike will also make you wet one day.

                    I m Navjot Singh from Duliajan Dist: Dibrugarh(Assam). recently i purchased Classic 350 from SAHILA EXPOSITION Guwahati. which is 500km away from my residence,

                    at the time of purchasing i saw the bike rare mudguard is little capsideBend so told the manager, he said its normal and told his Tea boy to pull it another side and said its ok now.. so i took the bike headed over my residence, that time i was alone so I fell nothing abnormal. after reaching home my friend sited with my and when i started moving an abnormal sound was comming from rare tyre so i stopped imminently to check what happened; then i observe that the rare tyre is touching rare mudguard on right side so again i pulled mudguard right side to put in it position but after some time it again come to its original position ...
                    so i thought when i will go for servicing they will make it ...but after one day my friend was riding my Bullet and i was behind him in his bike i saw from behind that the front tyre and rare tyre is not in alignment rare tyre is totally bend so i told him to stop and i inspected that the rare swing arm is totally bend and tyre is touching mudguard, , the mudguard is in its right position the swing arm is bend for that reasion the chain cover is also touching rare RHS shockabsorver..

                    so imminently i call SAHILA EXPOSITION and place my complain. the Workshop manager listen my com[plain and said (ok ok so this is the problem .ok i will call you after 10 mins. ) but till now its almost two days he never call back so now u say what to do..

                    as i already mentioned that its 500 km away from my home its not possible to run daily to RE workshop..and plz. reply

                    I am a bike rider since 1998, I own 3 bikes - Hero Honda Splendor, Hero Honda Karizma and Royal Enfield - 350 CC Classic.

                    I am fairly disappointed with my classic 350 bike. Few Issues that i would like to highlight

                    1. When I got this bike with parts already rusted
                    2. The Ignition lock gave me trouble and had to get it replaced,
                    3. Engine Oil leakage issue was to be sorted / rectified by myself
                    4. Chain gets loose within a month of service
                    5. Rear shock absorb-er is not very effective causing backache to the pillion rider
                    6. The rear view mirrors - both left and right shiver while riding the bike making it difficult to view the vehicles.
                    7. Teeth of the metal on the rear wheel where the chain fits, broke while riding without a pillion rider, up hill of national park in Borivali.

                    I have not faced a single issue listed above in my other bikes. Making me feel that I have spent a lot of money on a product that is of inferior quality.

                    On 26th/27th of November 2012, I met with an accident where a taxi was reversing in full speed from a building. I was travelling on my bullet at a speed of 40kms, looking at the speeding taxi I applied sudden breaks. I did not bang with the taxi nor did the bike fall on any sharp object, but application of breaks alone made the chassis of my bike bend. Making it clear that the parts used in the bike are of poor quality.

                    Adding to my miseries is your dirty servicing team. Its been over a month and your company has not yet shipped the chassis. My bike is still not made and is with the service center for over a month. This kind of service is unacceptable from a company that has a name like yours.

                    Request you to expedite the process so I get my bike back soon.

                    I am a very unsatisfied customer and I promise that I will never suggest my friends to buy your product.

                    I believe that if one can not provide a quality product or standard service, one should stop manufacturing that product. Please better your product quality to avoid adding shame to your company name.

                    My Bike is at your authorized service center, Sharda Motors in Goregaon ([protected]) since the 27th of November. I am informed that your dealer is not supplying them with the chassis resulting in delay in repair work on it.

                    I call them again and wasted so much time with them. Every time I left my bike for 1-2 days in service station.

                    The service centre in Delhi ( DDA Flats Kalka ji) took 1 day and told that the problem is solved but again the problem came before I reach home.

                    Second Time on Fourth Service I gave my bike again & they took 3 days to solve the problem. At least I was happy that the problem is solved this time.

                    Now again problem comes in same day & even the SILENCER of my bike fell down while riding because all the nuts/bolts are not properly Tightened, By Luck I survived from falling.

                    Now the vehicle is in warranty so may be they replace now for free. But what will I do if the problem continues. Because I think the problem is with the entire machine and comes periodically.

                    I have spent 1.20 lakhs for riding its worth less and m wasting loads of time in the service station & without bike my work is also effecting.

                    & after buying the most trust able, expensive, powerful motorcycle in India, I am just frustrated of this bike with problem always.

                    It was my dream buying RE machine, now it has become a nightmare for me.

                    I have spent 1.20 lakhs for riding its worth less and m wasting loads of time in the service station & without bike my work is also effecting.

                    & after buying the most trust able, expensive, powerful motorcycle in India, I am just frustrated of this bike with problem always.

                    It was my dream buying RE machine, now it has become a nightmare for me.

                    I have to follow-up with them. Whether I do my job or run behind the service guys to get the problem fixed.

                    Can you please take a action on this because the problem seems to have coming again and again in regular intervals.

                    I sometimes even regret buying this. But as a fan of RE from my childhood, I still stick with the machine full of problems.

                    Please take a Suitable Action on the same.

                    I am from Nepal, here a dealer had already sold almost 7, 00, 000 Royal Enfield 2010 onward models. I was also a good fan of bullet always thinking I would buy one since my childhood. I bought two Enfield bikes but I already have innumerable problems I have been tolerating with my Royal Enfield Classic[protected] & also Classic[protected].
                    Classsic 350: main issue, chassis cracked. Service center did not bother, just made me wait & wasted my time but did nothing.
                    Classic 500: White Smoke came out of exhaust and too jerky, blown about 10 plugs in 100 Kms after 2nd service although ridden not exceeding 60 Kmph with frequent breaks. Took bike to main service centre, took 10 days to return the bike saying it's sorted but it was not. Again took it back to service centre, Took 5 days to repair and gave back to me saying ok. I brought my bike to home start next morning still seen smoke. They said smoke in the initial start is common in the morning. I trusted them. I rode bike for a week about 200 Kms, there was only half oil in the engine. I called the service station and mention this issue again they said Classic 500 consume little oil. 1.5 Litres in 200 Kms is normal. I took the bike to service centre and ask them to change piston cylinder set. Waiting and quarrelling for 5 hrs for the bike under warranty they finally decided to change but I needed to leave my 500 there and don't know how many days. I left the bike and after more than a week waiting I called and find out. They said bike is ready and I went to service centre the bike was just repairing. I waited another 4 hrs till repair. I got my bike and just left the service station thinking I will not come back and buy another Royal Enfield as these poor quality troublesome Bikes are not worth my hard earned Rs 5.35 Laks. I will not do mistake again buying Enfield. Almost all riders know quality of Enfield now so I hope they know what to do next. My 500 CC classic that needed engine cylinder replacement was never repaired by Service station. They only changed the ring and sent to me, so it only lasted for 5 months. I needed to spent Rs 20, 500 to buy a new cylinder set. Now I am really afraid to ride this bike thinking what will happen again? So I just use it for a weekend ride. This bikes are not for commuter. I now proudly own my Kawasaki Ninja 250r and Pulsar 220F for hard riding and commuting. I had to share my experience about Enfield as these nightmares experience with Enfield and their service team were haunting my brain and now I feel little bit lighter. Royal Enfield! Wake up otherwise do not open another plant!

                    back I got the delivery my Thunderbird 350 and on the very 1st day while I was riding the bike to my home from the Bandra showroom, at the signal just after I left the showroom I could smell the petrol but I didn't pay much attention thinking that the smell might be coming from someone else's bike. Later on the next day I filled in petrol of INR 600 and realized that there was petrol leaking from the petrol cock beneath the tank. I immediately called the Bandra showroom and informed them about the issue, they asked me to visit the Mahim Service center which I did the very next day. The service center guy checked and tried fixing the nut near the petrol cock however the petrol was still leaking. After a couple of tries the owner of the service center requested the mechanic to change the nut and see. The mechanic change the nut and the leak was stopped. During the petrol leak issue I also used to hear some kind of a noise coming whenever I press the break lever which I had informed the person who called me from the Bandra showroom for the feedback of the bike. Now after 15 to 18 days since yesterday I could hear another noise which is either coming from the front wheel or the back wheel and also there is a lot of vibration when I accelerate a bit in 1st gear between 30 to 40 km. Tidat on December 6, 2014 at around 9.30 am while going to my office I visit the Sakinaka service center where I met a mechanic named Ajit from whom I was made to understand that the nut of a part called “Singham Bush” / Rare chain and the tank needs to be tightened.


                    I don’t really understand one thing that within 20 days how can a newly purchased bike worth 1, 49, 000 have so many problems. I need a resolution to this on an immediate basis or else I will have to go the consumer court with no options left as I do not want to run around person to person with my request and waste my time as I am a working personal.

                    I have finally given up after running pillar to post from my local RE Dealer to all the best mechanics in my city, Hubli(Karnataka). I am writing exactly after completing one year of my experience with owning a RE, which was my dream bike since 2004, when I could not afford it. Today, I am repenting for owning a RE which was always so close to my heart.

                    I purchased a brand new Thunderbird 350, Lightning on 8th September 2014, bearing the following details:

                    Engine No : U355COEH545847

                    Frame No : NE3U3S5C1EH095538

                    Dealer Code : 5026, Klasik Motors, Hubli, Karnataka.

                    After my very first service at 490 KMS, I noticed that the fuel guage was having a mind of its own, which whenever I shared with my dealer, they used to reply saying all Thunderbirds have the same issue including the one which the owner of the Firm, Klasik Motors had with his own TB he said. Further after 2nd service, the switches on the meter panel(clock settings) buttons stopped working. The dealer replaced the whole meter panel and after few days, since I was repeatedly addressing the fuel gauge issue, they replaced the gauge for no charge. I really appreciate the gesture of the dealer, but the quality of the spares is very pathetic for the ruggedness the bike is meant. One thing I must honestly admit, that Mr. Ram, RE engineer responded very well at every stage and addressed the issues which really helped me hold my respect to RE.

                    Now, what I am going to share might shock you. Recently, my bike's speedometer stopped working and the left yolk switches also stopped working except the Pass Button. When I dropped the bike for servicing the same, I was told that the cable is worn and also the switch assembly needs to be replaced and its payable(Rs. 1300/-) since the bike has completed all the 3 free service. After the job was done, the service person, called me out and told me that the speedometer cable cost 850/- and the left yolk switch cost additional 450/-, for which I can pay only 500 Rs. as total to him since he would not bill the same and just show the whole service as general service and washing of Rs. 110/-. Now if this is the situation at such a reputed RE authorized service center, then I really fear what parts would have been removed from my TB and fixed for others.

                    After my third service, when my bike had hardly done 9000 kms, the dealer told me that the front discs have worn and need to be replaced. I did the same without cross checking the same. Now I am facing a very embarrassing situation where in my chain is literally making a lot of noise during running and when contacted a local mechanic, I was told the chain needs to be replaced since I used spray as advised by RE dealer. The bike is hardly done 12500 kms.

                    I really count on you people to help me. I even today recommend my near and dears for buying a RE, but with a fear within.

                    I am Senthil Kumar S, purchased Bullet Electra -350 at DG Motors Tirunelveli. Vehicle Number TN-72 BB 8214,
                    During my first service[protected], I went to ARAVINDUJI MORORS- Kattuppakkam Chennai, at that time they have dried my engine oil but without pouring the new oil they have delivered the vehicle to me after traveling some kilometers I found some noise is coming from the engine, then I complained about the same after that they have taken my bike to their place & given back. But from that day itself an extra sound is coming on my bike if I asked them no proper response.
                    On[protected] I called Mr. Aravind Prabhu from ARAVINDUJI MORORS for a service & I requested for pickup & drop of my vehicle, he has given his service manager number, I am contacted him & agreed about the charges. Till now I am continuously following with Aravind Prabhu & service manager no response, more over if I called them they are raised his voice and used invective language on me

                    These are so embarrassing and hence take action accordingly, if it such a way your dealers are behaving then this will really killing the ROYAL ENFIELD brand name in the market.

                      I would like to draw your attention on that I had purchased a Royal Enfield Electra bike from Royal Enfield authorized dealer Shree Mahadev Agency Sector 10, Noida (U.P.) on 15 June 2009 since the day of purchasing I'm continuously facing problem in my bike. now it's have problem in crank & piston.

                      I already sent a mail to Channai but they don;t give any satisfied responce. We have informed Shree Mahadev Agency, Sec-10, Noida) many times but still issue is persisting...
