In 2017 SBI customer executive called me for Royal Sundaram insurance policy and I had a conversation with Nirmala executive from Royal Sundaram stating that, your amount will be refunded after 1 yr if you don't want to continue. But now while i am asking they have not told like that and amount cant be refunded, you can see in the teams & conditions.But while talking she explained me the policy in such way that the amount will be refunded if you have not claimed anything after that i told her to process, after processing a week time only i got the kit.
Now when i am asking for refund they are saying to see the kit not the personal contacted and amount will not be refunded, you can do what ever you want.

Kindly suggest me what to do?

Hi my self Amit kasnale. I did not get any renewl call from royal sundaram insurance company and they deduct my money from my card. I want my money back. I don't want your policy agian.

    I have been talking to this team since many months and i am here after utter frustration on the royal sundaram over the issue they handle and promises they made.
    Policy details:
    "'royal sundaram=[protected]' cce[protected] hospital cash policy"
    Please note, this one isn't the first time the issue i have faced with this people since the policy made. Right from the beginning i have fought about their capture of details in policy and in my first settlement of claim then now. Now its in high, i had applied for the claim for 12k as per the policy committed upon my hospital expenditures. But finally they settled it for 6k. For that too, i said ok as i didn't wanted to waste anymore time fighting with them. On aug 27 i applied for claim and sent the necessary details via e-mail as well as by courier. Until post one month there was not a single piece of communication, post one month on sept 27th i made a call and inquired the status, they said its under process... And on oct13 i receive a email stating that
    "this is with reference to our email dated september 27, 2018.
    Ih18000118: we would like to inform you that the claim has been approved and settled for rs.6000/- through cheque" later here i am pasting the communication with dates..
    Received this e-mail on nov 4th
    "this is with reference to our email dated october 28, 2018.
    We wish to inform you that based on your representation claim has been approved and settled for rs.6000/- through cheque, the same will be dispatched within 3 working days."
    Received this e-mail on nov 23rd
    "this is with reference to your email dated november 05, 2018.
    We understand your concern and apologize for the delay in our response.
    We would like to inform that the claim has been approved for rs.6000/- and the neft will be initiated within 3 working days."
    Received this e-mail on dec 8th
    "this is with reference to your email dated december 07, 2018.
    We understand your concern in this regard.
    We shall look into your request and revert in 3 working days."

    Till today i. E jan 4th 2019. Those 3 working days aren't met.

      I made a mistake of taking my car insurance policy with rayal sundaram..
      While taking the policy your mr prithivirajan and ms vennila spoke to me several times to make me opt your co policy and after that they are talking rudely and indifferently when i asked for physical copy of the policy which they promised to send with in 5 days. Alas now it is 1 month ihave not received the same. When i contacted the call center they are another set of people forming that they will take feed back. What feed back? God knows!!! When i asked for dispatch details of policy kit they said that they could not share the courier details which means that till date not dispatched.
      Is this the way a tvs group company is running.?
      I am thoroughly disappointed for the blunder of opting to get my car insurance through one of the worst insurance companies in india which i encountered..
      Is it not the moral responsibility of your company to send the printed copy of the policy to customers immediately after issuing the policy or only to make the customer to runaround from one person to another? Also when i asked your manager contact details both prithiviraj and vennila refused to share the details. Why. Is not your company senior person above them will not talk to customers?

        My policy expires on january 2, 2019. Till date i have not received the renewal quote with full break. I spoke to customer service more than a month back requesting for the details. The customer rep informed that he would send the requisite information as well as a revised quote. Till date there is no response. Every time i call up customer service and remind them of this call. I am promptly told that a note is being sent to the concerned department and i will receive a call. I have received no call. It appears rsgi is not interested in renewal of car policies.in view of this poor service, i have moved to icici which provides a far more proactive customer and friendly service

            This is amit kumar, to bring in your kind notice a pathetic customer experience been delivered by one of your surveyor officer - mr. Pankaj rohilla.
            I met with an accident dated 6/11/18, while driving towards my residence at sonipat from my office (Delhi). Once reported i took my car to hari sons automobiles - panipaton 9/11 for claiming the loss and breakage occurred.
            The insurance file was straight way disapproved by the subject surveyor, stating this is an old claim. Now this comes to me as a utter surprise and nuisance as to how you guys can reject the claim by giving such lame excuses. Just to add on i am using your services since last 3 years and if in case this was an old damage as mentioned by pankaj you guys would have marked it straight way while renewing the policy

            I want an urgent call back fro one of your senior authority and ensure to get the claim passed and processed on urgent. This is serious harassment and is not expected from a brand like royal sundaram and for sure not gonna use or recommend your services to anyone in future.

              Couple of months ago i took a claim for my royal enfield bullet from royal sundaram the surveyor saw the bike and gave the approval for work and everything was done on the bike, when i ask for the bill the surveyor rejected my claim because there was some missing document, my question is everything and every document is checked before the approval but why the surveyor checked it after the approval and rejected the claim, the bill was around 25, 000 and i had to pay now.
              This company is a cheat and can cheat anyone don't ever buy insurance from this company worst insurance company ever.
              I am going to write about this company on every social media and i request everyone kindly share this as much as you can, let people know how this company can cheat.

                Claim no. Pv00471367 / my vehicle hit against the gate front portion got damage and also left side suspension damage. Left side suspension work not authorized. This damage occurred on present accident only. Poor service and no technical skill.I tried escalating to different channels, but the escalation matrix itself is not clear.I had to followup with the surveyor front LH suspension damage who just tells different stories.

                  My royal sundram policy number is - sy[protected]
                  Policy issues date - dec 2015

                  I admited in hospita 12 jan 2017 l due to loose motion and stomach pain.

                  My hospitalization claim settlement by icici lombard cash less. After discharge as per my royal sundram policy benifit claim. My claim reject given region your case not required hospitalization. I just ask royal sundram why not you send your investigation team and how to you desided without patients face.

                  I already registered complaint with beema lokpal and also this issue highlights with cnbc peharedar.

                  And my target is daily post minimum 10 comments to royal sundaram customer to this issue and port his policy. Because i face this issue i don't want other face this issue. Because royal sundram is a big cheater company. And as per irt[protected] claim reject by royal sundaram.

                  Royal Sundram team I have a good news for you 127 complaint register via online Bima Lokpal. Now I contact your every customer who loss claim amount . And I help to register complaint. Also I contact your caurent policy holder for port health and car policy also.
                  In my office all employees desided port royal Sundaram policy. Also I share other company. DHL Wipro L&T Infotech and Capgemini . I share my issue with ICICI Lombard claim settlement latter with Royal SUNDRAM reject latter.

                  It's meance Many royal Sundaram customer going to ICICI Lombard and Max Bupa

                  Some corporate also desided in 2019 not continues with royal Sundaram.

                  This is our power. And that your power you can just reject me claim but I know. I file cause with Bima Lokpal and first date is in this month. I know I found my claim amount but you will loss many customers and new customer.

                    I have already fulfilled all the requirements as per their request and still no reply from their side. During hospitalization, they said this is pre existing disease but we have submitted doctors letter which has clearly mentioned about diagnosis also. It has been more than a month. I'm not able to contact their customer care also. Please, settle my claim as early as possible as their is no problem in issuing it.

                        Dear Sir,
                        Today (31/08/18) had been to Machino Techno Darga Road Service Centre for a repairing work of my Swift Dzire VXi (WB 08C 2808). One of the representative of Machino Techno came and asked politely about my problem. I gave him all the details and also told him that I have renewed my insurance (ROYAL SUNDARAM GENERAL INSURANCE- MOP5216551) on 24/08/18 as my said policy is going to expire on 15/09/18, Also I have received various calls from the other companies as well as Machino Techno to get it renewed before getting it expired. The said representative said that as I have renewed my policy I will not be getting any insurance benefits from my said old insurance as NCB (Rs 1, 263/-) has got included into my new renewed insurance.
                        My query is that as my insurance is getting expired on 15/09/18 then why should I will be not getting my benefits from it and why your company and others disturb us to renew the insurance as early as possible without giving us proper details that if I renew my old license earlier I will be not getting benefits from it later though I have the expire date.

                          I am Sanjay Gandhi from Ghaziabad.
                          My vechile got accident dated on 17.08.2018. vechile no UP 14 CQ 7236 standing at vipul motors sector 6 Noida.
                          From your side Mr. Ashwani Sharma was the inspection inspector came on next day and he told us that 99% will be cleared within two days.
                          But he gave the approval on day before yesterday only.
                          He has given the approval for the front side only but he has not given for the back side.
                          One vechile got accident at front side with a sudden break and some one coming towards back in bike hitting my bumper and it has been damaged, but your inpector is telling that he will be giving the clime for only front not for the back side.
                          Please look into this matter and please close this by today.

                          Promised cashless but while claiming denied.
                          No provided of attendents by customer care have not received the calls nor called back. Even after 10 days and enough mails no one contacted to me...errogant, dsptng, attitude by ur gurgaon official aman bahal...time and again we r provided no of same executive who do not entertain.
                          The policy number vpn[protected] was given for change, no response was received for the last 5 days. In this connection, I have talked many times at the call center, only waiting for the answer is available, so please provide me the right information.

I will take new car insurance (Policy) for my car to any other company... Because very bad / and worst behaviour of your staff because... My elder brother mr. Pankaj nimesh have also swift dzire car and this car also insure by royal sundaram insurance company... My brother car lost by theft in the month of apirl 2018... My father make ready to all the papers for claims... But your staff ready to make a new issue... Example this paper, this paper is not... Etc

                              I have a motor insurance with royal sundaram with a zero dip bumper to bumper cover. My car damaged in an accident in which it was damaged at three places and when i submitted for a claim the executives starting fighting and using foul language when i asked them to clarify on not accepting the claim. They are not ready to accept the claim and also asked me to give proofs of the accident, wondering i would rather not worry about my condition after the accident and first click pictures for them to prove the accident.

                              I wish i could get my rights in this after paying for the insurance considering they would help me in case when needed as for what a person buys insurance.

                                  Dear Team @ Royal Sundaram Health Insurance

                                  I have a Family floater CASHLESS Health Insurance with your company, policy no. SGP0007229. Last month I had Angioplast done, for same I did applied for a Cashless claim, which was not accepted by the allotted TPI – Paramount, God only knows why.

                                  I have been asked to make a claim back with Royal Sundaram directly. So after my discharge on 26th June 2018, I did got papers ready sent to Royal Sundaram, delivered successfully on 2nd July 2018 and I even got an email for same. On 12th July 2018, I got a letter stating that someone will be appointed to take my case further and will collect some documents from the Hospital, etc.

                                  I waited and waited, suddenly got a call from someone on 1st Aug 2018, who came to collect the documents today on 5th Aug 2018. After 23 days! Named Mr. Vishal Tiwari ([protected])from Jaipur.

                                  After investigating the entire matter, the gentlemen asked me to sign on a Blank page, which I denied and thereafter demanded Rs. 1000 as a File charge, which I said I was not informed. He said it is mandatory or else he will not pass on my file. So I called toll free to confirm the same. They denied so I did not pay.

                                  Now, I have submitted entire set of documents to him and answered all his queries, if in case my file now is being delayed due to non – payment of bribe or if any documents are mis placed knowingly or any other issue arises, I shall definitely file a strong case against him and Royal Sundaram.

                                  List of Concerns:
                                  1. Cashless Claim not passed smoothly by TPI, in spite of relevant documents submitted well on time.
                                  2. My Family has to run for funds, as I was hospitalized and had to arrange money from relatives and friends, which was a big hassle and they were in tension that time due to my hospitalization.
                                  3. Too much delay caused in Claim process, the file has been submitted on 2nd July 2018 and investigation officer coming on 5th Aug 2018 (After a month)
                                  4. Bribe being demanded by the investigator, who can create issues with my document, leading to case rejection, etc.

                                  I am a Heart patient and am writing this all to request seniors at Royal Sundaram to help process this claim as soon as possible. Any related stress or delay if caused at the Investigator’s end or from company’s end will certainly not be appreciated.

                                  I am in a situation wherein I am now in hands of corrupted people in a company, who is not helping the clients on time, where they need their help and for same, they are paying huge premiums timely for security and safety of themselves and their Family.

                                  I declare that I have been really honest in delivering all the documents and information on a very timely basis as and when requested by Royal Sundaram. If now due to mis management, my claim is rejected or delayed and due to same, if I face any physical or mental illness, as big amount is involved and I need to pay my relatives off the money, Royal Sundaram is to be held responsible for same.

                                    This is regarding my car (Details mentioned below) had an additional dents when mahindra tvs service center @perungudi returned back to me.

                                    My car details,
                                    Make: figo
                                    Registration number: tn10 ad 2596

                                    My car met an accident on 23rd june 2018 as details below,
                                    Incident time: 6:00pm (Around)
                                    Incident location: omr, karapakkam, before cognizant signal

                                    Insured company : royal sundaram
                                    Policy no: vpb[protected]

                                    So i informed to royal sundaram about the incident on 25th june. Royal sundaram customer care person suggested mahindra tvs service, so i agreed to give my vehicle to mahindra tvs to rectify my car damage.
                                    On 26th june afternoon, tvs car driver came to my apartment and took my car for service to tvs garage. He has not taken any photos of my car and not mentioned the car dents in the receipt which he has given to me.
                                    After several follow-ups atlast my car was delivered to my apartment on 6th july around 8:30pm at my apartment entrance. When i looked it the actual accident dent was rectified but additional new dent has happened. Immediately i called the tvs representative mr. Arun and saravanan. I informed him clearly about the new dent. Saravanan said first you pay the amount and i will rectify the dent on monday. To respect his words, i paid the money to the driver. Since i own a shop at the entrance of my apartment and i was busy during that time i did not noticed the other dents since it was night and i did not even check inside my car.
                                    Later night after i closed my shop at 11pm, i got into my car to drove inside the apartment. Then i noticed audio system was not working and speaker covers were removed and car was very untidy not cleaned/waterwash. Since it was late night i did not noticed other dents in my car. So the next morning saturday, i thoroughly verified my car and clearly taken the photos of other 2 dents and the interiors and send to arun (Mahindra tvs representative). I did not get any response from him, i tried to reach him but he has not taken my call. From 9th july i am following him, he said he has informed to his management and he will come back to me. After couple of days no response from him, so i went to service center i explained to him clearly also i produced him the proofs. Arun again said he will speak to his management and will come back to me. Again several follow-ups, i am really fed up with the mahindra tvs service team.
                                    Last 7 years i am using a car, i never had a problem while giving to ford service center, since royal sundaram suggested mahindra tvs i respected them and given my car to them.
                                    I had a very good reputation on both the concerns but i never thought that such a big concerns name will be spoiled due to staff. The way the fahim talked was not good and with arun i need to follow-up several times and saravanan has not kept his words.
                                    I have proofs which i submitted to arun and he does not have the proofs and he is asking me more proofs. Actually your team should have the proofs and inform me that whatever i am claiming are false but they are not doing it.
                                    My humble request is why the representative has not taken the photos of my car before taking from my apartment instead of taking photos after reaching to your service center.in between anything could have happened.
                                    I was so patient not to escalate and not spoken anything rude to anyone. Kindly check with your staff. But it really hurts after showing the proofs they are delaying and not agreeing.

                                      @royalsundaram claims that it covers pre-existing disease post 3 years, and then puts up such clauses

                                      The agent said that pre-existing will be covered post 3 years and now they are adhearing to their words.

                                      I am okay if they do not cover this for next 3 years, but post 3 years as per their policy they should cover it.

                                      Your policy says pre-existing disease will be covered after 3 years, and disease like knee replacement will be covered post 2 years. With respect to vitamins, every women takes vitamin tablets post 30 yeasrs.

                                      Do not make false commitments in your prospectus.

                                      I will definitely take further actions against your company.

                                        my name is pradeep rajani and I am editor o[censored]lhas shangharsh newspaper and i have purchase health insurance on dated 10/7/18 from royal sundaram but before purchasing policy I have given all details to your manager and customer care officer kanakraj after give payment 7800 your officer are telling another terms and conditions of policy which was before he could not told me i have policy of hdfc ergo which I was paid for 2 year it was expiring on 16/7/18 i want to change it means port the policy to royal sundaram it the time of porting I talk your manager and kanakraj and given all details to both and policy document of hdfc ergo in that I also inform him about my wife operation of fiberoid which was perform 5 year ago so they told me it's fine sir you have no problem to port after that I make payments of 7800 rupees for 3 lakh policy for my family after making payment he told me sir your policy is start from 16/7/18 and you will receive hard copy in one week but after that kanakraj called me on 16/7/18 he told me that sir you have to medical tests and sonography of my wife i told no problem then he said you have to bear all expenses of medical tests i told her that why should i pay medical tests expenses he can not tell anything before 16/7/18 my policy of hdfc ergo also expired after today he call me and tell me that if purchase 5 lakh policy for my family then my company bear all expenses of medical tests so I told him I don't want 5 lakh policy so he told me you have to give me medical tests expenses 50 % why should pay medical tests expenses and my payment is done on 10/7/18 and he can not given me any policy now he was saying If I can not pay medial tests expenses he cancel my policy without my permission sir please solve my problem immediatelly and give me my policy and resticate Mr kanak raj for this behaviour immediatelly and issue my policy as soon as possible and I send you also recording of my conversion with your officer also I complaint this same in irda so please look in this matter immediatelly Mr kanak raj has no knowledge about your company policies he was saying anything it's very bad experience from royal sundaram health insurance.
