Hi,

This is regarding a claim i have made on the vehicle/insurance mentioned below which is been rejected after cleared in the survey

The vehicle was surveyed for damages in an accident at modi hyundai, thane.

The surveyor had cleared all the related damages and after almost 10 days since then modi hyundai had updated the case with related documents and sent the expenses post completion or repairs.

After all the time spent since the insurance policy was purchased in month of may and even when the survey was registered, the company didn’t verified the policy for a missing confirmation for the no claim bonus offered from the last years policy.

As per general practice following are the defects in your system where it should have been tracked

1. While the policy was purchased on 23rd may, since all your systems are linked online
2. Period between 23rd may and 12th july to track the discrepancies
3. While the surveyor passed all the damages to be covered in insurance
4. While the documents were submitted by modi hyundai for the verification of the claim before the repairs were started

Instead all the process of the damage repair was allowed to be carried over and seems your insurance company was waiting for the last moment for bill to be settled from you end to announce the claim is not valid

All these delays and flaws in your system had made it clear it’s none of my mistake and business to accept a small fault in the online policy purchase which hardly differs by rs. 900 for the no claim bonus. Also am aware of the process where the company collects the difference if any within a period of 15 days from the customer after validating the policy with previous insurer. (I have already don’t his process now and awaiting for a response since 8 days now). I would have paid all the difference without any concerns if informed about it before. But seems such things are kept in safe as weapons to be used only when we claim for damages to void the policy benefits.

Had it been tracked on time the conditions would have differed. The bill is around rs. 36000.00 in which more than 60-70% is on behalf of insurance company. Had it been tracked even during the survey i would have denied getting the car repaired otherwise. The car itself is 8 years old and made no sense if not covered in insurance to be repaired in an authorized service center.

It’s was acceptable for me to take the burden of this and i had request to get it cleared from your end asap since it’s the entire insurance company fault. Wondering if any unusual event would have occurred to the me while the accident occurred the company would have behaved the same after publicizing so many promises.

However your company sent me a note of the rejection on my postal address received after 15 days and after multiple attempts to call the customer care all in vain, i paid the amount myself and took the charge on myself.

I would reiterate it was none of my fault for the delayed from your end to reconcile the policy with cholamandalam (Previous insures), so please give me a positive way and get me the amount cleared for the insurance now.

    Dear sir. I have commercial car insurance from royal sunderm of zero dep.& all partscovering policy. My car met an accident from front & rear side. So during this accident on 16th july 2017. Parts injured during accident are both fender. Both front light, bumper. On side mirror, bonet & rear light & diccy. But royal sunderm team survey team pass only one fender, front lights and one fender without pent. Bonuut repair & bumper without paint.       I met with an accident in which my car( Honda City) faced some damage.Company is not admitting my claim.My car has been damaged from three sides but company is not ready to give the claim of all three sides.They are saying that they provide insurance for one time one side accident but there was no mention in their brochure.They are saying that they will provide insurance of only one side.Rest of damage will be a burden on my pocket.I am feeling cheated.Kindly help me.

          I insured my mom and brother. My brother got hit by a running taxi on the highway. After all medical treatment documents submitted to this so called 'insurance company', they never pay us back even now it's 8 months since we began our claim form submission. Hundreds of calls and emails we sent, they keep giving nice excuse like "sir, sorry for the inconvenience, but our teams are looking into the matter..."

          Don't they realize that such ripp off practice is not relevant anymore and they can't go on without being sent to prison?

          Hello. I want to glad infrom of you complaining against decline of my claim of my car maruti Eeco 5 str. Reg. Num. GJ07.DA 6777. Name. Keval ashokbhai Barot. It was accident on 10/07/17 i already giving full information of accident but they declined. My. Claim. If they will not pass my claim then i will sui the case against royal sundram. Thanks.
          The claim was admitted/accepted by the company on 27th April 2017.
          Till date the amount has not been paid to me.
          Whereas the company chases for renewal premium, it remained silent ever since the claim was submitted.
          Service of Royal Sundaram General Insurance is just AWFUL.

            My Honda City car Regn No. HR26CS0839 is insured with your Company vide Proposal No: P6753555. The vehicle met with an accident and was admitted in the Honda Servicing Station, Sector 18, Gurugram (Haryana) on 13 Jan 2017 and inspected by your surveyor on 14Jan 2017.
            The vehicle had a head on impact on the front left hand side. the impact was quite a bit taking into account that the shock absorber got bent and the suspension damaged. The Tyre got cut too.
            The surveyor Mr Kamal, did not agree to change of shock absorber in the first instance. Thereafter he took his own sweet time to give go ahead for the suspension work. Initially he was informed by the Honda people that they suspected a major job since the steering wheel was almost free.
            The above resulted in delay in repair of my vehicle which was finally handed over to me on 31 Jan 2017 around 5.30 pm.
            The left tyre has a cut due to the impact. I spoke to your surveyor regarding the same. His reply, "This does not form part of the accident", is not in good taste at all. This means that the customer is telling a lie. I am already under a shock due to accident and devoid of vehicle. On top of it the insurance company talks in such a manner. At least the customer be attended to politely.
            Not withstanding the agony gone through for so many days without the vehicle, I would request you to kindly get my tyre replaced. This is the least you can do. Thanking You,

            Even iam facing same problem with my surveyor, who is telling that consumables which got leaked during accident is not covered under insurance. Worst insurance company and still fighting for the vehicle to get back from showroom and the insurance company.

              I bought car policy from Royal Sundram via policy bazar. I have been misled by Policy bazar initially and later on cheated by Royal Sundram.Policy bazar informed me that its cashless policy and it will be easy claim settlement process. Now I am struggling to settle the claim.

              My Car met with accident on 16th jan and after reaching Chevrolet showroom in Ranchi came to know that they are not attached with Royal Sundram so it cant be cashless and can be re-imburse later on. There is only one reputed Chevrolet service Centre in entire Jharkhand state and Royal Sundram is not associated with them. So it can never be cashless for entire Jharkhand state.

              Later on I intimated Royal Sundram about accident on 16th jan through customer call centre and received reference number EF400062 via one of lady executive. I was told that will receive call within 4-5 hrs but didn't received same. On cross checking next day found that reference number given by executives was false and was given new reference number.Again I was told that will receive call within next 4-5 hrs. I got call from someone in Kolkatta and he asked for all details and later on told that Ranchi dosent lies in his zone and will receive call from someone else shortly but unfortunately didn't received call. On enquiring next day got call from someone from Bhuneshwar and was told that process is initiated.

              As of now (10 days) don't see any progress and my car is still lying in service center.
              Its been very irresponsible approach and poor service from Great Royal Sundram.
              I got struck here with them and feeling that been misguided by Policy Bazar. I will never buy any policy of Royal Sundram and even with policy bazar.

                I bid the travel insurance policy from Policy Bazaar which is biggest fraud company in insurance sector. that was not in list of France embassy i bid alternative policy and applied for cancellation on 25 October. they never refund my money. they said we never refund the money without approval. we dont know about approval. who to give this whom is not cleared. please dont get in trap of both of these company.

                    I opted my car insurance with royalsundaram. When i asked the quotation they shared the premium and idv value details and in that quotation i find out car cc was not correct and the same communicated to customer care and they told post payment we can change that in policy (I have shared my rc copy). Then i paid and waited for 15 days to get the policy copy. When i got my policy i have verified the engine cc again it was wrong. I called customer care and sent lot of emails then they ask me to share my rc copy 2nd time again i shared.
                    The same rc copy accepted for all insurance companies.
                    My car is fiat linea and 2009 model

                    In 2009 fiat cars are marketed by tata from 2006 to 2013. So in rc copy company name was tata
                    Now they are telling in rc it was mentioned tata. So we can’t change the cc. If this is the case then why your people asked me to pay the premium. So as of now without changing the cc i can’t claim.
                    How royal sundaram attract customer is providing high idv value. How customer get high idv value they will put wrong engine cc. Finally no one eligible for claim.
                    While taking the policy daily i have got 2 phone calls and 2 sms and 1 or 2 emails. Post payment i have raised this issue no one respond properly and sent lot of emails and called customer care people now they are telling for email reply you have to wait 2 to 5 days.
                    So best avoid this royal sundaram insurance and save money.

Vishal yadav, is under warranty but when i approach to service centre in karnak (Modern motors) they refused to give any warranty and asked us to pay the whole amount. Details of gm is a follows: gm - mr. D. P. Chopra chandigarh sr. Office mr. Gunjan malik please help in this metter as it is really embarrrassing situation where

                      The car stopped all of a sudden. Then i took my car to maruti agency named cm auto sales pvt. Ltd, anandpur sahib. They kept my car over there and i came back as i have some urgency on that day and next day mr. Gurjeet singh who is work mamager there called me and said that your engine got seized. I asked to do repair as my car is under warranty but they refused to do it in warranty and told about my fault but sir not being mechanic how i come to know about it later it was founded out that engine is being seized due to internal fault of engine chamber. Moreover sir out side engine there was no leakage. When i talked to mr. Gunjan malik, senior manger of chandigarh & told all about this but surprisingly in place of helping me, he talked rudely to me. Then i decided to take back my car from there and then i approached to modern motors, karnal and they also repeated same line & refused to repair it under warranty as he told that we can't give you warranty for this matter and you have to bear the expense of 1 lac rupees for repair otherwise you can take your car back and get it repair from outside. To your kind notice, sir
                      All services of my car had been done at there centre and now they are not cooperating me at any level. There is no fault from my side so please help me in this matter. Otherwise it's i have search other alternative. So humble request to take needful steps.

                        I opted for Royal sundaram car insurance after seeing the cashless settlement garage list on their website for volkswagen cars in Bangalore at 3 service centers.

                        Today when i wanted to claim for the insurance i came to know that, the cashless settlement is not available for Volkswagen at Bangalore motors and Apple auto Bangalore. On their website we can see the above two under cashless garage list.

                        I would not have opted for Royal sundaram if i would have known that there is no cashless settlement at Bangalore motors and Apple auto Bangalore.

                          My car no. UK07BR2214 which is insured with M/s Royal Sundaram Ins. Co. which met with an accident on 01/07/2016 and on the same day it was left to M/s Rohan Motors, Dehradun and which was surveyed by Mr. Preetesh Joshi. But till date he did not settle the claim and forced to shift my vehicle at local workshop. Whenever the dealer clearly told that the vehicle could not be repaired without replacement of body shell.                             I had received the policy mail of Health insurance by RoyalSundaram on[protected].
                            I like to cancel this policy.
                            This is clearly mention in the policy that "if our financial problems,
                            not satisfied with this policy then you can cancel this anytime, there is some ammount will cut depends on duration".
                            But when i call to my phone, then on this Toll No.[protected], then they policy cancel Reference No.1F14520D.
                            I also mail to then still this mail.
                            Please provide refund my Policy Premium Ammount.

                              I just suggest you. First read proper your policy paper and what is cover in your policy in 1st year and what is cover after that. if your case cover as per policy document you can claim if company not pay you claim amount you can complaint with irda and other. As per my information any insurance company not pay first 2 years some

                                when we login through m.royalsundaram.in and and enter Policy number PSD[protected], it is showing incorrect address(Name is different). It is totally fraud, only my mobile number is mention there, they are cheating the customer, it is totally fraud. Always wrong message is receiving per day

                                Please look on that fraud, They are doing fraud with customer. Please look on this type of company. they are collecting unneccessary money from customer and ding always fraud with customer

                                  While traveling to ahmedabad (gujarat) from rajkot (gujarat), we had a accident on 27th of may'2016. after informing to royal sundaram & with help of rsa we towed our vehicle to ahmedabad infinium toyota.

                                  Royal sundaram team of ahmedabad taken 2-3 days for surveying my car and confirming approval for repairing/replacements in my car (gj3er2797) with confirmation that consumables + 1000 will not be paid to us.
                                  So we have paid rs. 74000/- on 17th june'2016 to infinium toyota and submitted copy to royal sundaram executive for processing of reimburement with commitment for payment in max next 10 days.

                                  But, on after taking regular follow-ups we got the liability statement from royal sundaram on 29th june'2016. and its really a shocking to see liability sheet for rs.66, 210/- given 11days of paid bill of rs.78, 195/-. this shows speed of response for reimbursement, where royal sundaram not able to provide cashless facility in city like ahmedabad (gujarat).

                                  As per discussion with royal sundaram, royal sundaram have informed that rs.1, 000/- + charges towards bonnet repairing + others consumables like nuts & bolts will be charged. and there will be salvage deduction also which i had raised objection that, i have purchased nil depreciation policy so i will not pay.

                                  We have received liability sheet where royal sundaram have confirmed liability of rs.64, 210/- in place of rs.78, 195/- which is not at all acceptable to me. as per discussion with my legal team & insurance company of my company only rs.1, 000+rs.3, 000/- (for bonnet)+rs.1000 max (for consumable like nuts & bolts) which comes maximum of rs.5, 000/-.. and also it should includes reimbursement of vehicle pickup of rs.2, 500/- as extra to the liability.

                                  We have replied to royal sundaram on same day but, still today it shows under proces for submitting version/statement why there is difference of rs.14, 485/- is coming and who will bear cost/interest of my rs.80, 695/- (rs.78, 195/- + rs.2, 500/-) for kept holding with royal sundaram for more than acceptable period. we are working persons from middle level family and we have regular emis for loans.

                                  Waiting for your prompt response, so we can decide to move to consumer court with support of ombudsman/irda.

                                    I hold Royalsundaram health insurance for me and my wife. When I was taking policy, i want my son to be part of it. But as his age is below 90 days, he cannot be added until he attains 90 days of age. Royal sundram agent and customer care said, i can add my son anytime during policy if he attains age 90 days above.

                                    After couple of months I approached RS for member inclusion (my son was 5 months old). They are denying now and saying it is possible only at the time of renewal. I quoted the words at the time of policy taking, as a reply they said, we are sorry sir, yes we agree that we said same. But now we cannot include.

                                    I got frustrated and irritated why these people cheating others by telling false information while taking policy. Even in document which i recived, it is no where mentioned that there is no inclusion in middle of year.

                                    I gave complaint to IRDA Ombudsman on the same. They forwarded the same grievance to Royalsundaram asking them to reply in 15 days. Now almost it is 30 days there is no reply from Royalsundram. This also shows the carelessness of Royalsundram and inefficency of IRDA Ombudsman in taking the complaint serious.

                                    What best I can do to pull ROyalsundram onto roads...

                                      My car insurance with royal sundaram was expiring on 14 april 2016. Around the middle of march 2016, while i was looking for the best deal from various insurance companies to renew it for another year, royal sundaram executives lured me to renew it hurriedly saying that the premium would go up significantly after 1st april 2016, and if i renewed it before 1st april 2016, i would get a reduced rate. They gave me a quotation to that effect and i renewed my insurance at the end of march 2016 after paying them their quoted price. They confirmed that my policy was renewed by sending an e-mail acknowledgement. But then they would not send me the policy papers. After waiting for 10 days for these papers to arrive, i telephoned them the reason. I was getting anxious as the deadline of my existing policy was nearing. When i telephoned them, their executive told me that they did not send me the policy papers as the premium had increased by then, and i was required to pay an extra amount. I could not understand their logic. First they gave me a quotation before 1st april, with the promise that my insurance would be renewed effective from 15 april 2016,. Then i paid that amount dutifully, and they even acknowledged that the policy was renewed. Now after having got the money from me, they wanted me to pay their enhanced rate! This is most unethical! I was pushed to a tight spot. I had no option but pay the extra amount and be done with it. Had they been honest right from the beginning, i would have shopped around with other vendors and get the best price. They lured me with a lie.

                                      Please beware of this company, which take recourse to such unethical tactics, which is pure lying and hoodwinking the members of the public for their short term gain.

                                        Don't Buy Royal Sundram Policy.
                                        Because you can face this type problem.
                                        1- I facing Loose motion and vomiting on early morning[protected].
                                        2. I take medicine at my home. But not relief due to vomiting no effect any medicine.
                                        3. I go to my nearest hospital Sai Kripa Consult with Dr. Sanjeev Dua.
                                        4. The Doctor inform my need to hospitalization. because if you take any medicine and facing vomation not use medicyne.
                                        5 I admitted in this hospital[protected] to[protected] for 2 days.
                                        6. After Discharge I submitted my all bill with Bharti Axa Health Insurance My claim Settle 100% in 8 days.
                                        7. After Settle claim with Bharti Axa I claim With Royal Sundram As per my plan "Smart Cash" Cover daily Hospital cash.
                                        The royal sundram Reject my Claim. Given Inform me this case not Require Hospitalization.

                                        If any Royal sundram Claim Officer read this please reply why reject this case and who decide Hospitalization require or not Hospital Doctors or your doctors.
