Hello sir/mam,
I have received the rejection letter from royal sundaram on 16th april 2014 and 18th april 2014 for the policy no's CSB[protected] and HL[protected] and as per the letter
the royal sundaram has simply rejected the claim by stating irrelevant
details of pre existing disease i.e hypertension and diabetes from 10
years which is not true and it is baseless. So I am enclosing the
statement of proof from our treating docter which states the current
ailment is not due to any pre-existing disease and authenticates the
status of the patient
before(48 months) and after attack.
So I would like to put my policy no's:HL[protected] and CSB[protected]
for reconsideration as the patient Mr.Srinivasa Murthy.G.S has no
preexisting disease and this haemorrhage stroke(intracerebral hematoma
in basal ganglia)is a sudden attack .
He is not been a patient of hypertension earlier and has not been under any medication earlier and at present as well.The
docters have termed this to be a sudden attack without any symptoms.
The pre hospitalisation reports show he has been normal throughout and no
signs of such attacks in future..

So please reconsider both the policies and process it and I am enclosing
the medical certificate from the consulting docter which states that it
was an emergency and sudden attack without any pre-existing disease.I
sincerely make a humble request to the docters at medical records
department in royal sundaram to process the claim and approve it as we
have been a part of royal sundaram family for many years and possessor
of multiple health and home policies and produced all the documents in
original on time till date for easy processing.
We have been paying all the premiums sincerely for many years and we make a
sincere request to reconsider our claims and approve it at the earliest
as it is an emergency and the medical certificate authenticates that
the patient has no pre-existing disesase.
Otherwise I will have to take a severe action against your company for misleading
the customers inspite of paying premiums sincerely, providing all the
original documents for claims and cheating the customers and then you
will have to refund us with all the premiums paid over the years.

Looking for a favorable and early response from your end on a higher priority
basis and we expect you to assure us of the best services by processing
and approving this claim at any cost.I hope and expect the proof of
statement is sufficient for processing the claim and let me know if
pre-hospitalistaion reports are required which states that the patient
has no pre-existing disease.

    i tack health insincere policy form Royal sunderam in aug 2013 poliicy no is GL 00015536 i was hospitalize on date 22nd dec 2013 and i have cash less card which is provide by royal sunderam they told me your clam is decline kindly pay to hospital & go for claim directly head send the documents with claim form to you but i am not received any confirmation form company i also try to contact on customer care but they told me we will cal you back but no buddy call me finely in fab 14, 2014 after strong follow up they told me your claim is rejected by our team i am help less i don't have fund to recover my loos please help me

      Dear Sir, We have taken car insurance online from Royal Sundaram Insurance and by mistake I selected "No Claim Bonus History". The policy is valid from 21-Apr-2013 to 20-Apr-2014. Policy No - VPN[protected] My car met with an accident in August and when I submitted claim for my insurance, the company said I have provided No Claim Bonus, but I have claimed from my previous policy. Hence the claim will be rejected and cannot be processed. My claim amount was huge and I spent around 70, 000. Can somebody please help me if we get the money back from insurance company?         mY NAME IS bALAJI AND I HAVE TAKEN A PERSONAL ACCIDENT POLICY THREE MONTHS BACK AND TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE HARD COPY OF THE POLICY. THEY HAVE NOT BOTHERED TO REPLY FOR MY MAILS ALSO. FOR MY LAST MAIL THEY HAVE REPLIED STATING THAT THEY HAVE DONT DETAILS OF MY POLICY AND THEY NEED THE SAME AND I HAVE FORWARDED THE SAME. I AM NOT SURE WHETHER THEY WILL RESPOND TO THIS MAIL.I AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND INSPITE OF SO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE COMPANY, WHAT IRDA IS DOING. THEY SHOULD IMMEDIATELY CANCEL THERE BUSINESS LICENSE.ITS SHAEMFULL. ON ONE SIDE THE GOVERNMENT IS INVOLVED IN SO MAY SCAMS AND NOW PUBLIC LTD., COMPANIES ARE TRYING TO DO THESE TYPE OF CHEATING.I DONT KNOW WHERE THIS CONTRY IS HEADING FOR.

          Sir, This is to inform that non-receipt of my refund money of Rs. 315/- from M/s. Dewar’s Garage Insurance Agencies Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata. The details of the fact are explained below : 1) One representative Mr. Biswabijoy De, of M/s. Dewar’s Garage Insurance Agencies Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata had came to my office on 12/06/2013 to collect the car insurance money for further one year renewal i.e. 2013-14 as I have purchased Maruti Alto (Std.) No. WB 12-B 4374 in the year August, 2009. On calculation of the said company I had produced a SBI cheque No. 962318 dtd.12/06/2013 to Mr. De for Rs. 3582/- for insurance of my car and Mr. De has also issued a money receipt No. DGI/ 2013/3980 dtd. 12/06/2013 and handed over the same to me. 2) After few days M/s. Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co. Ltd., Guargaon was contacted me over mobile No. [protected] and informed that originally your car insurance will be Rs. 3267/- as I have got extra bonus and discount. Then I shall get refund of Rs. 3582 – Rs. 3267 = Rs. 315/-. Beside this, M/s. Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co. Ltd., Gurgaon has instructed me to contact M/s Dewar’s Garage Insurance Agencies Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata for refund the money. 3) Thereafter, I personally contacted to Mr. Biswabijoy De’s mobile No. [protected] so many times who is a representative of M/s. Dewars Garage Insurance Agencies Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata and informed him about the above mentioned fact. But last time he has surrendered because he can not solve this problem. But he has given two contacts Nos. 1) office telephone no.[protected]/4827 along with two names viz. Ms. Sumana Pal, Mousumi Chakraborty, staff of Dewars Garage Insurance Agencies (P) Ltd., Kolkata. 2) Sailesh Chetri, Sales Manager, Dewars Garage mobile Nos. [protected], [protected]. 4) Then I have contacted over office telephone Nos. mentioned above and talked to both Ms. Sumana Pal and Ms. Mousumi Chakraborty three times. Every time they told me over phone that your cheque is under preparation. Last time i.e. on 29th July, 2013 I have contacted over telephone Mr. Sailesh Chetri, Sales Manager and he assured me that your cheque is under preparation and it will be sent to you within a very short period. But still, I am not received any cheque or any letter from the concern.             i have taken a policy for my mother in royal sundaram medical insurance , the policy number is HCJ0001447, during the commencement of policy my mom was not having any signs of illness and they have not taken any medical check up also for the same, but last month she admitted in hospital and had a surgery for FIBROID. but in the doctor statement sent to them shows that she had the illness from from last 6 months but we came to know only last month, because of this reason they denied the claim request and the whole money need to pay by us only.

            and some of the hospitals they have mentioned in the policy not accepting the card from royal sundaram.

              Denying to accept Medical exp Claim

              I have a mediclaim policy bearing no> HMA[protected] . from royal sundaram. Now coming to the incident i was suffering from loose motion and womitting issues on jan 12th i consulted the doctor he gave me medicines but was not able to control the same ,So finally i was admitted on 13th jan 13 and was given treatment in the hospital .After getting discharged i submitted the claim on jan 24th which was received by them on jan 29th.Later...

              I have done insurance of my Mercedes car with Royal sundaram, it was cash less insurance, I submitted my car to T and T motors for replacement of front glass which got broke due to some pebble from heavy vehicle came on it, it took more then 7 days as the insurance company didn't give do to the dealer. for the work of one day how can we afford to give our vehicle at company 7 days and still don't know when the Royal sundaram people give DO
              I took medical insurance policy from royal sundaram . policy No: HCJ[protected]. i took on 16/07/2013.

              initially i take policy and after that they asked to add my family member also. for that they told i need not to give any medical records. i paid 37764 for the 2 years policy valid till 15/07/2015.

              policy will cover 5 lakhs to my mother chellammal and 3 lakhs to me(siva prakash), thangaraj, boopathiraj brothers. last week 12 october 2014, my mother got accident and admitted in KMCH hospital in coimbatore. when we try to claim the hospital bill, royal sundaram insurance company told i did not submit the medical records at the time of registration. so now they are telling i did not tell any thing. initially when they are asking me to take the policy they need not any medical records. now at the time of claim they are telling medical details are not there. it is pure cheating to the clients. and just for adding policy they are giving/guiding wrong infor to clients and at the time of claim they are telling all the rules. i want IRDA to take action against Royal Sundaram for these kind of Illegal/Unethical way of doing /cheating the business. i cheated by this company Royal Sundaram and they did not respond my queries related to my joining formalities questions. if they checked that time it self i can take another secure decision for my family. because of this policy i paid money for this and i was help less at that time and cheated my this company, please give solution to this problem and investigate the royal sundaram for their policy taker how many of them did not submit medial records and this people will tell don't have medical records and they cant claim. please take necessary action against royal sundarams cheating business.

                Hi,

                My name is Md. Kamran Sharief. I am using standard chartered credit card from past 6 months and 1 month before i received a call from royal sundaram executive saying that on your standard chartered credit card we are giving you health insurance/medical card for Rs 6626 for 2 years and this amount will be deducted in monthly installment basis. Monthly installment was three hundred rupees change.

                I agreed for monthly installment, but these guys have debited the full amount which is Rs 6626 from my credit card. When i received the credit card statement i was surprised and gave a call to Standard Chartered customer care and told the situation and i told them to cancel my policy. Standard executive has accepted my request and kept my request on process. The very next day i received a call from Jyothi, her mobile number is [protected] she is working for Royal Sundaram. She started saying me that, this policy cannot be cancelled and i will be billed for this. When i requested her to cancel, she directly refused and she started commanding on me as i am a slave of her. Her language was so rude that i was shocked with her words.

                Next day i called standard chartered executive to raise complaint against Jyothi, i explained the executive about the scenario which happened with me and the executive has launched a complaint against Jyothi. After that also i am still receiving the calls from Royal Sundaram people saying that you cannot cancel the policy and they have also sent the kit to my home.

                I am very frustrated with these guys and i want to cancel my policy, but these guys are not cancelling my policy. What should i do, whom should i tell my concern. I heard about the consumercomplaints.in and came here, i am thinking that i should get the justice here. Please help in this regard.

                Royal Sundaram — Daily Calls

                Daily I am requesting them not to telephone me. But I am getting calls everyday. They are disturbing me a lot. I requested them to delete my No from their list. Everyday one telecaller is calling and irritating me for the last 10 days. Previously also they use to call me twice in a month.

                  I am Standard Chart Credit card holder through them i taken royal sundaram policy against number HCE[protected]. I have taken hospital cash benifit policy. When i applied for the claim for my father they rejected the policy by saying that its old disease with out any proof , my father never operated for any such kind of disease. No body take the call for claim settlement in their customer care , i tried lot. They taken 2.5 months time to process the application & their representative also vist our home and met with my father also.

                  Royal sundaram & standard chartered both are cheater , fraud and enjoying the public money.

                    No matter what situation you are in, no matter what you have you will never get the claims. It is full of false promises, customer service and a nonsense Claims Team who thinks they are king of the world.

                    Please do not do any insurance in ROYAL SUNDARAM.

                      I have requested for claim from Royal Sundaram for damages to my car and they have rejected it without citing any reason. Even they are not ready to discuss it. How come we are so helpless and dependent on one person and paid hefty premium for the same. I request for complete investigation and approval of my claim and also compensation for the difficulties and exploitation I am facing.

                        Royal Sundaram has forcefully deducted Rs 9348 from my Standard Chartered Credit Card against the Hospital Cash policy for my parents.
                        I have called many times for cancellation of the policy and the refund. More than 3 weeks have past and still its In Process. Every time I call Standard Chartered bank they say still under process and will be resolved shortly.

                        If I dont pay this amount they will definitely charge the interest on the monthly basis and again I have to break my head to get that reverted.
                        Both Standard Chartered and Royal Sundaram are making fool out of their customers.

                          Its pathetic way you just dont bother about customers. To reply a query it takes more than 24 hours

                          I am copying and pasting this in "Indian Consumer Complaint" available in Google Search Engine. Today i have called customer service department and same reference number was given D7615246 by Afrin - dated 10.7.2012

                          Its pathetic i get a message that there is no tracking for Business Reply envelopes and its very sad that the customer is kept in abeyance for being sincere and prompt to reply.

                            I am Standard Chart Credit card holder through them i taken royal sundaram policy against number cee[protected]. I have taken hospital cash benifit policy. When i applied for the claim for my father they rejected the policy by saying that its old disease with out any proof , my father never operated for any such kind of disease. No body take the call for claim settlement in their customer care , i tried lot. They taken two months time to process the application & their representative also vist our home and met with my father also.

                            Royal sundaram & standard chartered both are cheater , fraud and enjoying the public money.

                              On 30th July 2011, I have bought for the “Health Shield Standard Insurance” of Floater Sum Insured of Rs. 2,00,000.00 for self and my family members. This policy is bought over the phone, for which I have got three calls from Royal Sundaram and their details are mentioned below..
                              Caller No: 1 - On 29th July 2011, I received a Tele-Marketing call from Mr. Shanmugam regarding “Health Shield Standard Insurance”, during the call Mr. Shanmugam has explained me the policy details and I have cl arified my doubts too, in which I have asked regarding the “Laser Eye – Power correction” surgery, for which he confirmed that this surgery is under the policy cover.
                              Caller No: 2 - On 29th July 2011, Got a call from Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Shanmugam on conference confirming the policy details, in which I have clarified the coverage “Laser Eye Treatment – Power correction” surgery, for which Mr. Shanmugam has confirmed that all the Eye Laser treatment is under this policy cover.
                              Caller No: 3 – On 29th July 2011, got a call for the policy payment Rs. 6216.00/- through my Credit card.
                              All the above mentioned calls are recorded and stored as voice log with Royal Sundaram. Kindly Refer.
                              Request you to kindly go through the voice log had with Mr. Shanmugam stating that "Any Eye-Laser" treatment is covered under this policy. Based on their confirmation, I have brought this Policy and taken the leave from my office after a long struggle and under gone the treat ment on 20th February 2012, but now the company is diverging me. Please find the below email statement from them with very vague reply mentioning policy is not under cover.
                              Request you to kindly limelight this issue i.e., while taking policy verbal communication and terms and condition in the policy are conflicting, its really a big question, how come company like this are under IRDA regulation. Giving commitment to the customers and later sticking to the terms and conditions.
                              Big Question:
                              Tele marketing executive would have aware that these call are getting recorded and policy are sold under the IRDA regulations, in spite of this, how come this could happen by providing the commitment. Big question? Who is responsible for this commitment, when I have made them very clear that I have taken this policy for the eye surgery?

                              PLICY NO.HC[protected] FOR CLAIM NO.HR NO.62245 long time gone but not give any positive answer for claim.So please give me details for how go for consumer court for claims & completed to IRDA for Private company mostly rejected pepole claim
                              The Tele Marketing executives are not properly trained and have very poor product knowledge.

                              Their supervisors and managers are to be held responsible for keeping such ignorant employees who are not aware of policy benefits and basic product information. Please avoid buying online or through tele-callers.

                              Buy any insurance product through a known or a reliable person referred by your friend or relative.

                              Buyer be aware.

                                I regret to state that I have purchase 9 no. of policies from Royal Sundaram Company which was forced upon me by my credit card Standard Chartered Bank. I have already given for cancellation of automatic renewal on my policies and also got the confirmation from both the insurance company and credit card company. But i was embarassed to note that today i.e., 16.3.2012 I have received a renewal notice from Royal Sundaram Insurance company. This company is a big fraud company.

                                  Myself Sweta Gogawat,My car was stolen on 15th June,2011 from Ahmedabad.Still i haven't received my claim payments.My insurance company is Royal Sundaram.Firstly they were doing late process for insured amount its almost going to complete one year.Now they had done from their side axis bank is doing delay they are not giving replay to Insurance company and from last 1year as a faithful customer i am paying Installment of my stolen car.These both companies are not clearing between them and i am suffering from last 1year.

                                  Kindly i request to [lease help me out from this matter.

                                    I purchased a car in Feb'11 from Popular Wheelers,Ahmedabad and got insurance from Royal Sundaram.Now it's time for the renewl this year.I have asked them thousands times to give us the renewl letter,contacted Royal Sundaram's main office Chennai also.But they are not providing the letter.They are just harrassing us for the cheque. I don't want to pay the amt without having any renewl letter.The company is not at all interested in customer service and satisfaction.

                                    I wonder if they are paying claims or not when they are not able to provide us a simple letter.Their employees who are coming to collect cheques are saying that they have no right to ask company about the documents. What the hell the company is..I am really frustrated with their approach.

                                      I am Nibin and I hail from Kerala. My car insurance from Royal Insurance(Pol No:[protected] was expiring on 26 Dec 2011. I tried to renew it from the website through online payment methods. I have entered the policy number and the renewal date in the website respective form and its getting an error message as 'Enter the policy number' and I cant proceed with the steps. So I contacted the customer care with the details as I have seen in the website that they have online renewal section for which the screenshot is attached for reference.

                                      I have mailed the customer care with the following details

                                      "I have seen the online facility in your website, it was because of this main reason I opted for the switch over from my previous car insurer to Royal Sundaram last year. If your company doesnt provide Online Payment, please take down the link and the details of Renewal of Royal Sundaram insurance from the home page of your website, as this may be misleading for customers who opt for this.

                                      Currently in the home page it says, Renew policy in 3 easy steps -> 1)Enter Pol no and date, -> 2) View Premium -> 3)Make Payment Online. If you are not providing the online facility, why is this given in your website?

                                      This is a misleading information from Royal Sundaram website and if you are not providing this facility, you must have the responsibility of taking down this information from the website. Is this meant for making users who visit Royal Sundaram website fool of themselves?"

                                      and this is the reply the customer center people mailed me back
                                      "Dear Mr. Nibin,

                                      This is with reference to your email dated December 12, 2011.

                                      We understand your concern regarding online facility.

                                      We would like to inform you that we don't have the option for online facility."

                                      Still in the website there are information which states that there is online facility for renewal. Are they making users fool of themselves by providing misleading information.
