Respected Samsung, I have been a loyal customer, especially since the Galaxy S series, i have been using this series since S2, and have never faced anything like this.
I preordered s7 edge on 17th march, and received it on 21st night, i started using the phone from 22nd morning and it broke in my pocket on 23rd march, which is only the second day of my use and it is heartbreaking!
The phone did not fall or get bended. I kept it in my front jeans pocket, the pocket did not have any sharp tools or keys or coins, rather it only had 2 phones, s6 edge and s7 edge. Within 15 minutes i removed my phone out of my pocket the s6 edge came out fine but the LCD of the s7 edge has spider web breaks. Slowly the display started showing colours and got black. I know that as per Samsung, this is a physical damage and does not come under warranty but as i informed you earlier, the phone did not go through any falling/ throwing/ bending, and since i have been a regular and loyal customer of the galaxy S series i do not expect the phone to cost me 58000 and break in my pocket. This shows extreme weakness and i am shocked. I am not liable to pay the LCD cost which is told me to be 15600 INR by the service centre. Please look into the problem.
PS: I have also called the service call centre twice to get in touch with the voice of customer department and that and also visited the nearest samsung service centre and submitted my phone for a repair. Please make sure that i do not have to pay for this. I have innumerable faith in samsung phones and would be glad if it would not be shattered.
