We have purchased one Samsung 46 inches LED on 17th February 2010. We reported for the first complaint for display not being ok on the left side, after 4-5 months of the purchase, the engineer from Samsung visited and reported that the set is working fine and we should not worry.

The second complaint was opened again some time back in March/ April 2011 for black lines appearing in between on the left side top corner on the 46 inches LED TV set. The engineer(Bhushan Mishra) visited and said that there is some problem with the tekon(excuse me if the spellings are not correct) board which needs to be replaced. He also mentioned that the cost of the board will be around Rs. 6000/- which you will have to pay since the 46 inches LED TV is out of warranty. We talked with his supervisor which is Mohd. Ashraf who also mentioned the same. He mentioned that only a 10% discount can be given for the part.

In between the display problem aggravated and now half left side of the screen is super imposed with black lines in between.

After 1 week we called Mohd. Ashraf he said that the part needs to be requested and is currently not available, we told him to request for the part and replace it when available. Later again i contacted him after 1 week since i am only available during weekends. The part as per him was replaced for another customer and hence a new part was requested again. At last when the part was available with him he told that as during month end inventory cannot be moved out so you may have to wait for another 1 week.

Finally Bhushan Mishra and Anil came up with Tekon board they replaced it and the same problem continued, at the end they concluded that the panel of the 46 inches LED TV needs to be replaced. The panel of the 46 inches LED costs around 35,000/- as per Bhushan and Anil with taxes as extra.

My father started personally visiting Samsung Service Center in sector-31, Gurgaon. He paid three visits and met Atul Saxena who kept on following his superiors for free of cost replacement. Today he mentioned that upto a maximum of 20% discount can be given for the LED Panel replacement. For which he has generated a letter and has sent by courier.

Rajiv my request to you is to please consider free of cost replacement for 46 inches LED panel based on the sequence of events as stated above.

If we donot get a free of cost replacement we will approach consumer courts. Sorry, but we donot have anyother option available apart from paying 35,000/- as the cost of the panel, which we see as completely unjustified based on the following reasons: (and i would expect if you can answer these in a reply to this e-mail)

Just FYI we were very much satisfied with Samsung products before this case we are having three TV Sets of Samsung. The oldest one which is a 21 inches CRT Tv was purchased when it was first introduced in India, this set was completely untouched for the first 15 years and we were very much happy to have it seeing its display and stability.

1. Does a 1 year warranty on the 46 inches LED TV which cost us 1,40,000 Rs. sufficient and justified?

2. Does the warranty of 1 year gives Samsung a shield from 2 year onwards on the low quality of products? or the life time of Samsung products especially the LED TV cannot be guaranteed beyond 1 year?

3. When an air conditioner of 20,000-25,000 Rs. (bought thru a local shop selling assembled AC's) carries a 5 year warranty on its compressor which is the critical most component, why can't a big giant in consumer electronics like Samsung provide a 5 year warranty on a panel of the LED TV which is very much protected and is very safe?

4. Considering that the 46 inches LED TV panel which is safe and protected thru Samsung designed and certified circuit boards for any kind of abnormalities being developed in the board/ electronic circuitry, it also comes at the end of the loop where the last part of displaying the image is done using it, based on the above why you donot think that it is not a Manufacturing Defect? being in the 46 inches LED TV set from the very beginning when it was purchased and hence should be replaced free of cost.

5. After talking with Harinder from customer care department came to know that there are 100's of complaint cases logged on a daily basis including many for the LED TV panels, does this means that Samsung is selling inferior products and the quality cannot withstand beyond a year?

My time will also be wasted and Samsung might also earn some bad advertisement if i approach consumer courts and other consumer forums.

and Lastly based on the above justifications or reasons i am sure that the apex body will consider and push my case for a complete free of cost replacement for the panel of 46 inches LED TV.

I am very much hopeful of you considering my case as being the rarest and providing me the confidence of continuing my investments in Samsung and its products.

    Never buy Samsung mobile specialy Dual sim i have GT B7722 at Rs 10000/- its giving lots of error and most ipmortant Samsung Service center also unable to resolve this issues. so i request samsung should stop production of this mobile ASAP.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVICE CENTER ARE VERY BAD.. THEY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM WITH MY MOBILE PHONE..

    MY TIME WASTED, ENERGY WASTED, .. WILL YOU COMPENSATE FOR THIS.. . NO NEVER..

    I HAVE DECIDED NEVER TO BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT HENCEFORTH IN MY LIFETIME.. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND ALL MY FRIENDS, COLLEGEAUS, CO-WORKERS.. WHO EVER I KNOW NOT TO BUY ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS..

      Dear Concern,

      I have bought mobile (samsung - s5830) from reliance digital , shipra mall , gzb. dated 24/09/2011. After using for a day or two.. I realized the battery back-up is not for 2 hours also. I reported this problem to reliance people on 02/10/2011. While selling the product the salesman was very emphatic that if anything happens you can directly contact us, but now they do not want to listen anything because as per the terms and conditions there is no replacement if the same is not reported in a day.

      After requesting they have taken the mobile phone to send the same to samsung service centre dated:02/10/2011 and I was communicated that you will be informed about the progress. Till now i.e.dated:09/10/2011 neither the samsung has communicated nor the reliance.

      I am feeling cheated that I had wasted my 15K.

        Respected Sir/Madam,

        I had purchased a Samsung phone GT S8530 ( wave 2 ) in Rs 16,000....the problem in the set starts just on the 7th day of its purchase date, and after 2 months its screen was totally out of order ( then i had given the set to service center, they replace screen in almost 20 days) but now i m facing a major problem again( after 5 months from purchase date). my power button, lock button, and camera is not working and phone is not charging....the service center said that it is due to component damage due to moisture which is not covered under warranty and will cost u Rs 6000 to change the MOTHER BOARD. But seriously i had always cared my device greatly...and as a student i cant afford Rs 6,000. Since the set was prob-lemming from the 7th day of its purchase i must have a doubt that the set was a faulty one and the internal components was not up to the mark.....i have no more faith left on Samsung product and i am very much depressed now.....hope somebody will listen to me.......i want to say Samsung that take my set back since it is no use to me.....please help me.......

          We have purchased two SAMSUNG LEDs 46' from sales corner,O.P. road, Vadodara. We are finding display problem form starting in both the TVs. Engineer from service center came two times but the problem is occuring on a repeatadily basis. so now dealer & service center both are not responding to us and saying that company has stopped producing the model due to complain. And now they are demanding extra money for upgraded version.

            Hello,

            I have two Samsung mobiles-

            1. Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 (Windows 6.1 OS)
            2. Samsung Galaxy SII (Android 2.3.3 OS)

            Omnia Pro was purchased about a year ago and subsequently Microsoft released an upgrade to Windows 6.5. Samsung offered upgrades globally for Omnia Pro to Windows 6.5 but till date, their service centers do not offer OS update to Windows 6.5 in India. The phone performance is buggy and difficult to use after a year. Screen quality is poor and is already scratched up.

            The second phone Galaxy SII, the latest high end mobile phone recently got an update to Android 2.3.5 world over through a desktop software Samsung Kies. However, Samsung has denied update to the Indian version of Android 2.3.5 through Samsung Kies.

            I contacted the head of customer care- Mr Rajiv Ganju (rajiv.[protected]@samsung.com) and since he had no clue about the updates, wrote to me that he is forwarding my request to somebody within Samsung. That was a long time ago. Thereafter, I sent him a reminder but received no response.

            Is India a dumping ground for these MNCs where they just sell their wares like disposable diapers and no responsibility for an after sales support?

            Why does our Indian Government do not make them accountable for the theings they dump here and then forget about it? Indian consumers are ripped off as there is 0 accountability towards customer service commitments.

            When will Samsung wake up and address these issues and most importantly, why is this bias and a tardy attitude toward Indian consumers who loyally follow brands?

              I bought a samsung wave 2 s8530 before 4 months after 1 month itself the touch screen automatically works and still the problem continues when i went to the service center they are telling i have to pay for the touch screen as nearly 5500 then why there is a warranty or guaranty for these types of phones really china mobiles are better than samsung phones atleast it will work for 1 year i really hate samsung mobiles....

                on 2/10/11 ,i purchase a new samsung moblie ( sch-b379 ).After using for two three days i went to the retailer along with my complaint that the voice from the phone is not reaching to the receiver properly and even the voice is reaching in cracks. but the retailer told me that the problem could not be there as the phone is new.and he verified by making a call to one of his own mobile number..but i am really facing the problem as to any of the person i am talking via my phone,,is saying that your voice is not clear..its a big trouble for me as i have to call my colleagues for near about 6-8 hours a day.i want that my problem should be resolved or my phone should be taken into action under the terms of guarranty as when i will go to the authorised service centre.kindly resolve this complaint so as to satisfy my need of purchasing this phone.

                  i saw the advertisement of the samsung chat 222 on TV and the newspaper, i decided to buy it in ijebu-ode after three weeks o[censored]sage the phone started switching off/on. i took it back to the shop. mobile world and it was taken back to samsung office in Lagos till date have not gotten my phone. every time i ask after it. the reply is always they not called us about it. To be frank i am fed up. your effort will be duly appreciated

                  Samsung — company not providing the spoilt part in time

                  hello,
                  i have a samsung refrigerator and last month it stopped working as a part was spoilt and the company personnel changed the part after almost a weeks time and after calling them up almost everyday. they charged us rs.2000 for the same but this week again the same part got spoilt and again the person says i will have to shell out rs2000 for the same part! its going to be almost a week but the part has not yet arrived and they say still its going to take time.they say that they don't have the part since a week and they are getting it from chennai. how can a company like samgung not have parts of its refrigerator in mumbai? i am facing a lot of problems due to unavailability of the refrigerator.
                  Also they say that the part is getting spoilt because of power problems but how come the part gets spoilt only in my fridge and no one in the building is having any problems.
                  I, hope you look into the matter and help me out on my problem.

                        I had purchased a SAMSUNG MICRO OVEN for my personal use at home during 2006 and I was using it till June 2011. During this period I never find any fault in the machine. One day during june 2011 we switched on the machine the light of the machine did not blow, then we contacted Company's service center here i.e. CAUVERY SERVICES, NO.4, C V NARAYAN RAO COMPLEX, A N K ROAD, GANDHI NAGAR, SHIMOGA.Phone No.[protected] & 405783. The person who attended @ my hope said that, there is a complaint in the Bord & bring it to their office for repair. Accordingly, I took the oven to their office and handed over and received the acknowledgement on 09.07.2011. After one week I received a phone call from the service center & I was told that, the machine cannot be repaired due to not availability of spares & you should go for new one. I really wondered how can a company can manufacture a machine without its spares. When I questioned, they have given a Phone No.([protected]) of Sri.Roshan service coordinator of the company. I contacted the person several times but he did nothing except assuring that he will look in to the matter. Till to day my above machine laying in the above service center with out attending to my complaint. Not even they contacted me to know the fate of that machine.

                        2. I invested around Rs.14000/- on the machine just 5 years back & now the machine is no way useful for want of its spare. How can a company manufacture a product without spare. At the time of purchase the dealer was assured of its availability of spares and service. Rs.14000/- is not a small amount. The company should get my machine repaired or they should replace it.

                        3. With the above, I request you to do something to my complaint and see that my oven is delivered back in a
                        serviceable condition.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I have purchase Samsung CDMA SCH B 379 model mobile on 31-Mar-2011. Unfortunately mobile LCD display broken. We are approached the Samsung Mobile Service Centre located at Brodie pet, Guntur. They are saying that the mobile LCD cost is Rs.680/- where as we are purchased the mobile for Rs.1,299/-.

                          Total mobile spare parts prices are as follows in that service centre.
                          S.No Part Description Amount Rs
                          1. Mother board/ circut 1,100/-
                          2. LCD Display 680/-
                          3. battery 450/-
                          4. Charger 400/-
                          5. Head Set 350/-
                          6. Panel case 300/-

                          Total amount is Rs. 3,280/- that means 2 and half time above price of the new mobile price, It seems that if we lost or broken any of the part it is better to purchase the new mobile. Where as we have inquired the same part in the local market. They said that they can sell the same part (genuine) for Rs.300/-. The same thing i was discussed with Mr. Venkat Reddy (Incharge of the Service Center), he was given a inattentive answer which is hurting to the others. He said me that you can buy out side why you are coming to the Service Centre.

                          Kindly take the necessary action and give me the correct price of the LCD.

                            Pathetic Service from SAMSUNG

                            This is in reference to Service Request number - [protected] raised at your contact center on 05th Oct 2011 regarding the visit of engineer at my place.
                            I have purchased Microwave oven Model Number - CE104VD-B (CE104VD-B/XTL) on 02nd Oct 2011 from Divine Gizmos Pvt. Ltd. As per them engineer will visit at my place by 3rd oct 2011, I have enquired them d I have to place a request for the same or they will come by there own. As per Divine Gizmos Pvt. Ltd they will forwarded the details to service center from themselves.
                            Someone called me on 3rd Oct 2011 from mobile number [protected] that he will visit by today itself, I waited whole day and cancelled my other appointment but nobody turned up even no one even bothered to give courtesy call. Lately received a call that he will visit tomorrow early morning in between 8:30 – 9:00 hrs I said OK.
                            Next day 0n 4th Oct I waited for the engineer, again same story no one come then that person called us ( sorry don’t remember his name) around 11:00 hrs stating your place in not come under his zone, when I asked him to provide any number or service center number but he was not aware of same and disconnected the call.
                            On 5th Oct somehow I manage to get your customer number, I called in the morning some Mr Shanu attend my call, the pathetic customer care representative I come across in my life he just picked call start giving his opening script but without listening me anything he just give his closing script I was saying hello but he’s not bothered for anything.
                            I again called at customer care one lady attended my call she listen me very patiently and taken all my concern and provide above mentioned SR number giving a TAT for engineer visit by 20:00 hrs and assure that will receive the call from service engineer.
                            I waited for call from service engineer but again false promise no response from your end. Around 16:00 hrs I again called at contact center they again assured me that they have sent a mail at service center on priority and will definitely receive get response.
                            I trusted on your contact center people but as expected no call no show from your service center and contact center. I again called up at contact center at 20:00 hrs when asked by when the engineer will visit again new date and time provided that by tomorrow definitely engineer will visit I asked him to provide my the time by when he will come, again received the standard answer between 10:00 – 20:00 hrs he will come any time. This is really wretched, on festive day how come someone think to park all his personal work and sit at home waiting for engineer. When I asked them to give me mail on this they bluntly denied the same and said we don’t have provision of same quite surprising because in every industry in customer service have this provision.

                            At last to sum up all my pain and inconvenience caused due to false excuses form your contact center/service center/showroom. I would say BIG NO to Samsung for future I’ll make sure at least in my circle no one go for so called SAMSUNG brand and will give a print in leading newspaper stating “SAY NO TO SAMSUNG”.
                            I felt cheated I wasted my money in a brand who don’t care for the customer they are in the market just to sell the product no after sale service support. And the funniest at the back of your Samsung broacher you guys mentioned in big letter “KNOCK OFF YOUR WORRIES” well no comments now I know this is just to print not to implement. And moreover you guys have customized service for different products like LED TV, Notebooks, Washing Machine, AC and refrigerator but not for microwaves.
                            Hope after this mail you guys start taking your customer seriously, will work on customer satisfaction. Or i would suggest these korean or japness what so ever they are better shut down and go back to there own country, sell these product with these services.

                              I Bought a Samsung LED TV Costing 55k, the guy in change told us that the TV Has the feature of playing the Video via Pen Drive.
                              I Bought it, but when we saw at home the feature was missing.I Went back again, but now the guy says he didnt told us that we can play Video via Pen Drive. I am left with no option now.i am cheated as that feature was a KEY FEATURE for me.
                              Kindly Help me on this.
                              moral of the story: never believe any seller, Always check, what is told.
                              sorry now no choice.

                                I bought 40" 3D LED TV from Samsung on 22nd July 2011, next day engineer from Samsung visited my home just to hang that TV on wall, i asked him to explain the things and show me 3D in this TV, but he was not aware of how to operate this TV and said some other person will come for demonstration.
                                I made a note on Job card shown by him, but till today no one reverted from Samsung. I called many times to Samsung call center as well as branch office, but nothing happened.
                                I tried my self to start 3D but the 3D Glasses provided by Samsung is not showing 3D facility, i am afraid it is 3D TV or not, or they have sold me some faulty product, thats why they are not turning up.

                                I cried lots of times to Samsung but all the time they made excuse that you were not at home, you were not in the town.. i do not understand, if i am not at home then why can't they call on my mobile, and also i have given comments on each call, that i will be available after 6 PM only. But till today they never done so. Now when i tried to contact Samsung Head Office on 18th Sept. for the same and asked for money refund as this is only a show piece for me, then they said they will send one technician for demo, but again the same thing, after waiting of 10 days nothing happened,
                                Than again i asked for my money refund and the same assurance i got on 28th Sept. that we will send their engineer but again they failed, now today on 5th Oct. they are saying that they cant refund my amount.
                                Till today i am not able to watch 3D tv after spending 1.25 LAC Rupee. it is not a small amount.
                                Kindly look into it and let samsung refund my amount and take their product back, as the product is faulty and samsung failed to provide the service since last more than TWO Months.

                                  Since purchase the sim card is not working regularly and the mobile switch off automatically in between 1 or 2 hours on enquiry from the daler I came to know that the intention of the dealer named below was not good as he is giving us foolish reply saying that you must have inserted the sim in box ment for memory card. Now let me know how it can be possible while seeing over the space which is smaller and no sim card is possible to inserted in rather then the existing memory card is already there.

                                  It is pursume that there is manufactring defect in this mobile set and requires immediate replacement as per the warranty still exist. I have purchase Mobile set on 8th September,2011 from M/s. The Mobile Store Limited, Shop No. 21 Main Market, Kingsway Camp, Delhi and the same has been given to the service centre names below M/s. Beecham's Vision, 31, Connaught Circus, New Delhi - 110001.

                                  You are requested to personally intervene into the matter and resolve the same immediately otherwise I will be having no other option accept to go to consumer forum and claim for the recovery of the payment alongwith a heavy penalty. A line in reply will be highly appreciated.


                                  The Complaint reference no. as assign to me is[protected] dated 01st Ocftober,2011 by your call centre. I have spoken serveral time over phone to Mr. Jitender Kumar (Team Managrer) and he is asking for payment of Rs. 3200/- for repairing the mother board, which is not acceptable at all and is not decent way for payment as it is technical/manufacturing fault. Do the needful and the earliest and not incourage me to take a legal action infutre against the company.

                                  Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  I am a old customer to samsung company . I am disappointed and distressed overthe thoroughly callous atitude and unprofessional approach of the mobile dividison of you esteemed company.

                                  I do hope that you will personally look into this complaint and take prompt corrective action at the erliest . In case no prompt action is taken. I will have no option but to take recourse to legal action and/or such other action as may be deemed fit.

                                    I have bought a Samsung Refrigerator Model RSH3FHBP1 in November 2007, costing Rs. 80000. A red light indicator for filter replacement has been on since almost 18 months. Despite registering nearly four complaints in the last 18 months and phone calls to the dealer, Samsung Regional Office, Samsung Toll Free number, and numerous service engineers visting and noting down the Filter Part number, the filter still has not been changed.
                                    I would advise all people who intend to buy Samsung Refrigerators to ensure that replacement filters and other spares are available. Otherwise, they might have to dump their costly refrigerators in, say, two year's time, for non-availability of spares.
                                    Finally, I would be grateful if Samsung, who now claim that the said part is not available, relaces the refrigerator with a equivalent current model.

                                        I had purchased a Samsung Duos w299 device on October 6, 2010.Due to the Pathetic Build Quality of the product, I have had to service the device due to multiple problems almost five times over the past 12 months. I have had to get some hardware replaced and in spite of that, the mobile does not function as per the specified parameters. In spite of multiple requests at the Samsung Authorised service centre to replace the device or to replace it properly, the results have been useless. Now I've had to give the mobile back to the Samsung Authorised service centre because of another issue. From the time I have bought the phone, the device has cumulatively spent more than 3 months in the Samsung Authorised service centre. There have been issues with the touch screen, speaker, lock slider key, keypad and battery. I have now requested them to replace the device or to refund the money I had paid for the device. Request your intervention / support in any way possible to ensure that justice is done.
                                        I do got back 70% of money for my defective C6112 Samsung mobile after a long battle of 1 year
