Dear Sir,

Sub: Complaint against Warranty

This is to inform you that I have purchased a SANSUI TELEVISION Model: CTVSMART14, SR No.[protected] on 04/3/2004 WITH 7 (seven) years warranty (including picture tube) on CTV purchased in CABCO PARADISE(P) LTD, Chennai-600 011 .The warranty expires only on 4/3/2011.
From 13.10.08 onwards I faced a problem in my CTV that is, my CTV upper Half of the picture is in black and white Bottom 1/3is in color.

I had given a complaint the complaint No is CHE [protected]. And again I made a complaint after 3 months the complaint no is CHE [protected]

The service engineer came to Rathna stores(Ph No[protected]), Hospital road, Madurantakam, Kancheepuram Dt. who is the dealer for Sansui TV & checked the CTV on that same day itself and informed that the picture tube of the set is to be replaced and said it would take them 15 days time to change the picture tube. I found that there is no progress in rectifying the picture tube.

I believe this SANSUI is a good company and more over we are getting 7 years warranty based on that only I have purchased your CTV. Hence I am requesting you to rectify the problem without any further delay to my new residential address mentioned above. Expecting your early reply.

    Sansui Colour TV — TV and service engineers failure

    Dear sir
    I am Chavda Jayesh. I bought Sansui color TV.
    Model No-CTVHARDROCK25-ISX

    From Ashapura Electronics and Home Appliance-Mundra (Gujarat)INDIA.
    on Dated 07/05/08
    but unfortunate my TV is failure since 27/11/08 and
    complain on Ashapura Electronics but they forgated my complain and still my TV not working.also my TV is under warranty period so, I am not able to repair others engineers as per warranty condition.

    I requested to you sir, kindly take the necessary action amongst my complain .

      We have Purchase 20'' LCD as on 30/03/09, before 1month we have register Complaint for non working of the LCD, Against complaint No. Tha[protected] but till date we have not get service from the Co.
      Whenever we talk to Customer Care they replied Complaint in pending status & will be solved shortly.
      After long discussion with sr. of the cust.care they provide us Service Center No. to talk with them.
      We talk with Mr. Tarun Maheshwari (cont. [protected]), after that he provide us new No. of Service center Supervisor Mr. Santosh (cont [protected]) after talking with him he assure us to give service or he will give us reply but till date neither we get service nor any Reply..
      More issue is that whenever we Register complaint it will shown as closed. After long chase this complaint is live. But there is no reply till..

          I had taken 'Happy Care' plan of Tek Care India Pvt. Ltd. in February 2009 for my colour T.V. and washing Machine. Tek Care India Pvt. Ltd. is a service partner for Sansui. Under this plan they get your product repaired, without charging anything. I had paid Rs. 1400 for this plan.
          On 3rd June 2009, I registered a complaint on their customer care number for my television. They took it's chassis and kept for 8 days and returned. After 5 days the same problem occured and we registered a complaint again.
          From then, I have registered 5 complaints which gets cancelled automatically.Then finally, they came and took our T.V. to their workshop. Since then it's 10 days and on repeatedly calling them, they are not returning our T.V. set. Everytime they respond with sending the T.V. set within 4-5 hrs..
          Still the T.V. set is with them and they are not returning it, saying that the set is under testing.It's been almost 2months since the first complaint.
          The original warranty on my T.V. set is still valid till November 2009.
          Please help me with the way out.

            Dear Sir,

            I have purchased 29" Sansui TV in November 2004. I have lodged a complaint on dated 29/6/2009 at your customer care service they have given me logging No. THA [protected] they told me within 24 hours our Technician will attend the complaint and they have sent Mr. Suresh from Vashi Navi Mumbai service center. He told me EHT is not working so we have to changed the same part for that you have to pay minimum charges for replacing the EHT I have agreed and tell him to replace the part. But till to date he has not come back and repair my TV. My TV is completely closed. Once upon a time I have called to Vashi Service Center incharge Mr. Santosh but he has not given proper answer to me. His behaviour is not good to customer. He told that your TV is old and the spare parts are not available in our company. I am waiting your immediate action into the matter.

              Sansui v929 Mobile — Battery Dammaged

              I have purchased a sansui v929 mobile .The battery of which is dammaged.Please give me address and phone no. in India whwre i can purchase a new battery.I want the battery urgently.

                I have a Sansui 29" Hard Rock CTV, purchaged about 03 years back. Problem with the TV is it runs for first few mins and goes off.
                Also if swithed on after a moment, runs for few seconds and goes off.
                Complianed thrice, also the technician came for attending the complaint, changed some parts but without any result. Even they were also not sure about the problem.
                Can you send someone we is expert for handling the problem properly.
                Kindly treat the matter on an urgent basis.

                  Ref my complaint Dt113.10.2008.Much regretted for major repair like change of orginal heart like MOTHER BOARD replaced with second hand within two years of purchage.Kindly consider replacement with new set for best satisfaction, due to total software changed.                     I have purchased Sansui TV 29" Hard Rock in 2005. Such a bad quality of TV is this, it is giving trouble every year. Though sansui offered 7 years warranty, I still end up paying Rs 1000 every year.

                    On the top of it, service is so poor, that I have to wait for at least one week before service mechanic turns up!

                    My suggestion to all is that Don't ever buy Sansui products.

                    Sansui — Poor quality and service of TV

                    I have purchased Sansui TV 29" Hard Rock in 2005. Such a bad quality of TV is this, it is giving trouble every year. Though sansui offered 7 years warranty, I still end up paying Rs 1000 every year.

                    On the top of it, service is so poor, that I have to wait for at least one week before service mechanic turns up!

                    My suggestion to all is that Don't ever buy Sansui products.
                    First thing do not buy these scrap (LCD TV) from SANSUI. They are selling these scrap for money. This is my own experience with SANSUI. No service, no custome care at all. I never buy SANSUI products in my life. I am also suggesting my friends to stay away from SANSUI products.
                    PLEASE DO NOT BUY SANSUI LCD TV. IF YOU BUY, SURELY YOU WILL SUFFER. THIS IS MY OWN EXPERIENCE.

                        This was my very bad experience with Sansui TV, which I bought in 2005 and model is 42’’ Projection TV, now I want to take this issue to high authority.
                        History
                        Sansui Projection 42’’ TV Purchased in Oct 2005 from Mahaveer Electronics, Kondhwa, Pune; I paid cash 50000/- for this TV.
                        Within one year (Aug 2006) I got screen and video problem, I called service center and after 1 month I got proper solution because parts need to order from Aurangabad; here TV motherboard have to change due to default product.
                        Again within year (2007) I got same problem and same part have to change; again this happen in Aug 2008 also.
                        NOW 2009 I am facing same problem I called Sansui Service Desk on [protected] and raised my complaint with reference number PUN[protected] after continues one week follow-up one person visited my home and checked TV and told me same problem which I mentioned above and also I need to pay charges for the same, agent promised me to come back with new part within 2/3 days and he will repair the TV; here also we have to contact him more then 10 times. Due to family emergency (Death in the family) we have to go our native place and I am still out of station.

                        I want SANSUI to open this reference number again and give me final solution without charging any amount on this because this problem is ON-GOING.

                          i purchased this TV last year from a dealer named Next from Noida, Sec 18 . About 6-7 months back, it had the sme problem and after registering complaint, their representative attended two time after repitative reminder and follow up. . They replaced the invertor borad and TV was functional .It was under warranty . Again about two weeks back, i had the sme problem and i registered the compleind. Service center ( franchise ) m/s Smart Service, ( Tel no [protected],[protected] told that Invertor borad is to be replaced and it will come from factory in Aurangabad, Soit will take one week time . Technician came after one week but without any invertor board and said they want to take it to repair ceter for repair .
                          Upon enquring with their supervisor, he said that this part is not available in factory so we want to repair the same . They had been telling all lies and it can not be possible that part is not available with factory .
                          My TV is just 1 and half iear old and now i realised that it is total waste . I do not know even when i will get my TV back and even they return whather it will be with same quality or not .

                          I think many peopole are suffering like me and Sansui is spoling their reputation by out sourcing their service support to small 3rd party who are in competent and cheater .Sansui being so reputed co. needs to look into this immediate to retore thir quality servoice to satify their customer.

                          I request the Consumer Complaint inc authority to take strong action on this so that we get value of our investment .

                            Hi, iam Abdul Mateen Ahmed from Hyderabad.I would to advice every indian never buy any product from sansui.Because it is just useless support.I had called almost 50 calls for past 5 days but no proper response.They just take customer's for granted.They say that we had forwarded your complain sir, u will receive within 2 hours, 4hours.They are just pranking us.
                            I would make sure that none of my family, friends, online friends dont ever buy any product from sansui.

                            Sansui — Picture tube problems

                            Sir,

                            I bought a Sansui DVD player about 6 months back. The remote was working well till last month. Then I faced a problem and got it rectified through the local dealer from whom I have purchased after a long battle.

                            Now, again I am facing the same problem and the remote is not functioning.

                            I therefore request you to kindly replace the same with the new one. Please treat this complaint as most urgent and comply.

                            I purchased a Sansui TV seven years ago. Now there is a complaint for the speaker. About three weeks ago the technitian came, detached the board and took to the workshop for detailed checking. I am informed that they are waiting for a spare part. For the last three weeks I have been waiting for the board to be reinstated.But he has't come yet.

                            I am totally disappointed by the poor service rendered by the service centre

                              I HAVE PURCHASED SANSUI TV IN 2006 AND FROM THAT TIME ITSELF I HAD REMOTE PROBLEM IN MY TV. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AND SERVICE MAN COMES AND DO SOMETHING AND SAME PROBLEM ARISES AFTER ONE MONTH THIS MONTH I HAVE MADE 2 COMPLAINTS ONE ON 4TH AND ONE ON 9TH. TILL NOW IT IS NOT SOLVED. APRIL MONTH ALSO I HAVE MADE COMPLAINT. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED BY SANSUI AT ALL. I HAVE MADE CALLED SERVICE CENTER ALSO BUT NO PROPER RESPONSE IS GIVEN .                                 Myself Ankur Bhatia from Delhi(Dashrathpuri). i bought a sansui 29" 2500 watt flat television in october2008 from a dealer (Sirohi) nearby area. Right from the day one i recieving problem from the TV set...there r some huge Dark colour spots appearing on the TV screen...when i complaint about this to the service center person...they attented several times but could not solve the problem, then they took it to the Service Centre & kept it for 10 days, but still the problem prevails i asked for an replacement...and your area sales co-ordinatar says this is normal & occurs in every model.what should i do here.. pls take some necessary action

                                sansuai tv — screen problem

                                tv is not working propelry some time volume flucations and 24 hours screen is not coming full. always half screen come . I had already verbaly complaint on your ambla cantt dealer but i am not getting results on till day. so plz provide us engineer visit on my home. my contact no. so plz take action as soon as be possible.

                                  Mr. Jeelan had visited our house don’t know what he did, first he said two things are gone and you need to pay 410 to make it work. He didn’t use them, but did some testing and when he switched on TV something happened and now he said one more thing is gone which he doesn’t have with him and might not be available in his service center too which would cost 800 rupees. And he asked us to get the TV to service center and keep it there for 2 days they want to check.

                                  i have sansui TV i got problem from few days, when i swich on the tv after 2 or3 second tv turned off when we start it again the TXT OFF message appeared on the tv and turned off again
                                  i have sansui slimx211, now it is dead and LOT having problem, but part no is not available to purchase .can u provide the same?

                                    sir/madam,
                                    I brought a Sansui TV product SY-20-EYE 20" CTV SANSUI on 05 Nov 2004 from Smart Mart Stores Pvt. Ltd., A-148, Shakarpur, Vikas Marg, Delhi -110092 with seven years Warranty. No Serial Number is mentioned in my Bill. But service Engineer who visited my home on 05 May 09 vide Complain No GHA [protected] dated 01 May 09, is denying is give service. The reason explained by the engineer is that the TV Product is different as mentioned in warantty card. But the date of purchase is same. My name, address, Mob No all things are same. Thus there is no foualt from my side. In my opinion there is no fault. But if there is any fault then it is made by either Smart Mart Stores Pvt. Ltd.or service rngineer. who will solve my problem.

                                    i have a 29" suansi tv , model : thunder, it has come with 7 years warranty, the service engg visited my place and said this is picture tupe problem and cannot be rectified here , you will have to bring the set to the service station, which i have done 0n 12/01/2008, but till date the are not able to give me the excact status of the fault, nor they have changed the picture tube which is still under warrnt as i had purchased the set on 16/02/2004 and it has not yet completed 4 years, please replace the set or picture tupe or else not not advertise for 7 years warrant, what shold be my next move,

                                    i bought a 21 inches sansui television from Sharma Electronic centre karsog district mandi himachal pradesh on 16.8.2011. the same got out of ouder after one month. i visited to sharma electronics centre karsog and lodged a complaint there. he lodged the complaint of same at sansui's authorized service centre mandi, h.p. telephonically. authorized service centre called me on my mobile and assured me to repair the television. more than one month has been passed but no service engineer came to me. on 22.11.2011 i again remind sharma electronic centre karsog to repaire my television. i was given a mobile number[protected]Kultar Singh) owner of service centre. when i talked with him about my television he told me that it takes a time of 6 hours from Mandi to Karsog. it is very strange to say here that more than one month has been passed but service engineer did not attend the complaint. you are requested to cancel the agreement with the above service centre and take my television back and refund the money which i have spent by buying a third class product.

                                      Sansui 42" Projection TV — No video display, no response from cmpany

                                      We have a Sansui projection TV and it has been not working for almost a year now. Multiple calls to the service centre and local sansui dealers did not yield any result.
                                      The video suddenly disappeared one fine day while watching a moie. The TV was not even too frequently used. They said that the power box feeding electricity to the picture tube needed t be replaced and since this was a different model of projection tv of which only a handful had come to india, they do not have spare parts. So far they have not ordered for the spare part and my 60000 Rs has gone almost down the drain, with their not even being any resale value for a non-functional tv.

                                      Please someone help me teach some consumer rights related legalities to these guys
