Thanks for response ,i have deposited the LCD in service center.they are expressing their inability to repair due to lack of spare picture tube as well as motherboard .If really you all want to help me then replace the LCD .YOU can forward my request to the top brass of your business owner ,i got fed up in approaching post to pillar and justifying the faults.

It is to inform you that I am working in ARMY and a proud owner of SANSUI LCD purchased from Big Bazaar, siliguri, WB on 23 Jan 2010.Recently I am facing a problem in my LCD and approached to service centre siliguri, they stated that mother board and picture tube is faulty and will take more time in repairing. You are requested to replace the LCD to avoid the inconvenience. Request to give further direction.I further add that service center is unable to provide prompt service, need s to be looked into.I have also informed Electronics Section manager of BIG BAZAAR, I am posted in a place where everybody is having LCD purchased from branded show room they also faced some problem but forthwith replaced but in my case things are not replaced . it gives me a feeling that i could have also purchased LCD from BRANDED showroom .however again request to do justification. pl have some policy to replace the faulty set forthwith to satisfy the consumer .

          Mera naam Rakesh kumar hai....Mera pass sansui Telivison hai. but usmei kuchh problem aa gayi thi... jiski complaint maine company mei ki....aur waha se repairing ke liye joshi naam ke sasq aaye (Joshi cotact no.[protected]). unhone kaha ki ismei IC padegi..toh hme krne ke liye keh diya.. uske speaker mei bhi problem thi wo bhi new dalne ke liye keh diya... But usmei badi problem Picture tube ki thi jiske bare mei joshi ji ne hi bataya.. unhone kaha ki iske liye aapka t.v service center jayega... toh hmne t.v ko PARPARGANJ service center mei pahucha diya... waha unhone one weak ke baad repair karke diya... jab humne ghar par t.v chalaya toh hme usmei speaker sahi nhi lage..uski awaj badane par wo fatne lagti thi.. isliye hm satisfied nhi hue.... Tab hmne again complain company mei ki..... unhone kaha ki hmara saqs 24 hour mei aa jayega ..Dinesh 29 march 2010 ko aaye (Dinesh contact no. [protected]). Dinesh ji ne T.v dekha aur kaha ki speaker dale hi nhi hai...uski jagah woofer dal diye hai jis karan awaz tej karne par awaj clear nhi aa rhi... aur color bhi defect tha...Dinesh ji ne kaha ki kal hm aayenge aur aapke speaker change kar denge anur color bhi sahi karenge... unhone bill ki photo copy le li aur kal ka promise krke chaley gaye.. but aaj tak wo nhi aaye aur unka phone milayo toh wo recieve nhi krte ....toh maine again complaints company ki..... waha se mallom chala ki hmari problem solve kar di gayi hai.... lekin Dinesh ji ne jhoot bola hmse& company se....means Dinesh kaam chor hai.....Again complaints ki hai ab complaints no. del[protected]..........meri aapse prathna hai ki aap iska jaldi samadhan nikale.......aur meri problem solve kare......

            I have purchased Sansui Hardrock 2003 model. For the past few days the picture has faded & some times the screen becomes blank. One more customer has lodged the same complaint on this board. As per the technician the CPT requires replacement. Though the CPT is now out of warranty, the fact remains that the company must have deliberately purchased poor quality CPTs at a bargain price for maintaining low price of the product in the market. The whole lot of TVs produced using these CPTs must be facing the same problem though only two customers (including myself) have reported this problem on this complaint board. I have TVs of other companies which are around 15 ~ 16 years old but even today their performance is better than the Sansui TV in question. The company is not at all consumer oriented. The company should ' honestly ' analyze the FCR of the Hardrock model of 2003 production & voluntarily offer the replacement of CPT, though at a nominal cost to the customers. in case of 2003 model of Hardrock TV, the company has betrayed the consumers.

              We have purchased Sansui DVD player with writer (Model – DVR 515R) from NEXT shoppe in Malad West on 15th Aug 2008. September 2009 due product issue we had registered a complaint with Videocon customer service center. Few days later after repeated follow-up, service engineer attended our call and after initial inspection assured that technical team would get back on support.
              According to him board of DVD had to be replaced. After 2-3 months of regressive follow-ups didn’t moved anything, at last I received a call from a customer support from Video service center to bring our device to service center and they can inspect by engineer and rectify the problem without replacing the board (At first place they did not tried this approach). This was a positive development and support executive convinced us if this did not yield any result they have a board and need to get it to Mumbai from another location.
              The very week we took our device to service center at Kandivali on Saturday, engineer gave a invoice and told the procedure would be to inspect the device and max by Tuesday we should get an estimate about time and budget. No calls returned and they kept the device for 4 weeks. We followed and call them every week to get usual answers, we are still inspecting and could not fix the problem. At one time they mentioned they cannot fix device and need to replace board, just taking time to get board from Aurangabad (4 Weeks to get a board from Aurangabad – very strange).
              No responsible person who would deliver the service as per promise. After receiving the assurance that they already have a board to replace we took the device to Videocon. Its just one year and they are telling us now this product is obsolete and we do not have any replacement for board.
              With above reasoning support responded finally that they have the board with cost 3400/- while the original cost of DVD was 2900/-. What do you call this service center?
              This is our terrible experience of after sales service of well known company Videocon. ( TekCare India Pvt Ltd., Kandivali east [protected]/0351)

                i buy a sansui t.v. on 10th march 04 with 7 years warranty from ahmedabad from 27th oct 09 we are facing problem in our model "that it takes time to on in ealy morning" we have complain on that day to your authorised s.c. ( swami services at ahmedabad) on the next day the technication came and took t.v. to swami services for observation. on 2 nov 2009 they return our t.v. by solveing our problem and we have paid rs.750 as per bill at that time the technicion told us that the part which have been changed in our model the company will return back by coorier in one month but we hevent got it.
                on 10 nov 09 again we faced same problem at the movement we have complain again to service centre they told me to bring th t.v. and we went there and they solve our problem in 3 days and gave our t.v. back.on 16 dec. we again face the same problem the tec. came and took the circuiet at the s.c. 7 days have gone and they have not return the circeit and not given a satiesfactry ans. plz help us.

                    I had purchased Sansui Colour TV (Model no. 21K2K) on 4/11/2007. Now there is some problem with the picture tube as about 1/4 th of the picture tube from top is showing only green / violet colour. The TV was purchased with a warranty period of 5 years, bill dated 4/11/2007 is available with me but the warranty card has been missed by me but the shop owner is saying even though the bill is available they need the warranty card for repairing free of cost.

                    Requesting the company to look into the matter & inform me when the company person will come for repairing purpose.

                    sansui 21'' flat colour television — fault in picture tube

                    i have brought sansui tv 3 months back but the picture is not perfect in that left of the screen the colour very diffrent i inform to your local dealer i return the TV to same dealer in one month before still TV problem is not resolved TV also with in Dealer

                    i am very sufferd

                      I Purchase Sansui TV Model- CTVB2B21 having product Serial code No.[protected]. on Oct 2008.
                      After 6 month from purchase the Remote do not work properly then TV geting time for starting so we saw them to our retailer he give me after a month and work only 2-3 day and same promblem is occured then we also give to the retailler he says forwords its kit to change IC to the company and taking up to 6 month of timeperiod, and after say their is no match the IC so, prombe will not solved clearly.
                      then he give with same problem and now the TV is totaly dead.
                      So, Pleas tell me what can I do for further.......
                      Pls, tell me as early as posible

                        SANSUI LCD 324H (Sr.no - 1745) not working


                        This is to inform you that I purchased SANSUI LCD 324H (Sr.no - 1745)on 01 June 2009 from VIKAS Sales(Plot no.500 J.B Nagar Andheri (E) Mumbai-59 and I am having a nightmare experiences since then.

                        It stopped working within 4months and I registered a complaint and the engineer visited and replaced the panel. It worked fine but then again panel stop working in November, It seemed that this piece has a manufacturing defect and doesn't confirm the quality standards advocated by Sansui. The performance has been never been up to the mark.

                        Every time some or other parts is changed and it works fine for some time but could not last longer

                        Now again on 6/9/2009 this set is not working and no picture were appearing on the screen. It started with showing red/green/yellow lines randomly and next day it was all gone. We took every possible steps to best utilization and followed do's & don't but none of them proved fruitful. It seems that the product not properly quality checked?

                        A TV is supposed to last minimum 10-20 years, forgot about the years this set even could not last for months. It was bought on 01 June 2009 and installed in next 3 days. And it broke down in November, hardly lasting for 4 months. It would develop a snag so early was not in the least expected. Since then this is second incident. It has been lying inoperative for 1 month. With in 6 month this is the second time where the system has gone down

                        I stand cheated in the broad daylight. This LCD has a manufacturing defect that has lead to its frequent breakdown. Now I don’t want the servicing I need the replacement other wise I will file the complaint to Consumer court

                          This is Mr viveka nand jha .i have purchased SANSUI TV ( Model no 21 TINE GOLD ) on 28/02/ 2009 from RAJAT ELECTRONICS GHAZIABAD UP .Firstly my tv has out of order 12/09/2009. then we have complaint my request no is GHA[protected].sevice provider have came 5 times at my home and repair my TV BUT after 20 minutes again TV does not start / on .NOW they are not coming .they have told me ," he will change TV kit '' we r waiting from last 15 days .
                          so i request u please provide me service as early as possible .i[censored] will not consider regarding my problem .we will have take legal action against your poor service .

                          SIR, WE WANTS TO INFORM YOU THAT WHEN WE HEARD ABOUT YOUR COMPANY , MY SELF THOUGHT THAT ITS MY PLEASURE TO WORKED WITH YOUR COMPANY. WE SEND IT TO SANSUI INDIA COM..........BEFORE 165DAYS AGO TO TIE UP WITH YOUR COMPANY BUT WE DID NOT GET ANY RESPONSE FROM YOUR SIDE. AFTER THAT WE TRIED AGAIN & AGAIN BUT TILL NOW OUR T.V.                             Hello,

                            I Deepak Kumar Singh, resident, E501, Hariom Heritage, Plot Nr - 8, Sector-21, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai - 410210, purchased a Sansui Plazma T.V. in 2006~7. From last two months, TV control panel buttons are not working as any buttons switch off the tv/ or may increase/decrease the volume/ or may up/down the channel, and remote also not working due to that techncal fault. I am continuously complaining to sansui customer care people, they are assuring us that they shall send the technician immediaely and problem will get re-solved, but till today only one time technician has visited my home and he informed that their superior technician will visit and resolve the isse, but almost one months has been passed but neither any technician nor any representative of sansui has visited and re-solved this issue,

                            My request to banned such company's all product from India who just believe to make money by selling defected products and thereafter not at all interested to resolve the problem caused due to their product.

                            SANSUI is a big cheated and company may called as white collar criminal and a big thief,

                              I HAD PURCHASES SANSUI COLOR TV 29" HARD ROCK FROM A DEALER (BHAGYADEEP ELECTONICS,KAKTIVES ROAD BELGAUM.Mr.HEMANT [protected]) 1.1/2 YRS BACK AND NOW I AM FACING PROBLEM FROM THE SERVICE CENTRE IN BELGAUM SINCE I HAD GIVEN A COMPLAINT REGARDING SOUND PROBLEM AND THEIR TECHNACIAN Mr,SHAIKH AHD REPAIR IT ON 17/08/2009 BUT AFTER ONE MONTH I RECD ONE MORE PRODLEM IN THE TV SO I CALLED Mr.SHAIKH FOR REPAIRING IT BUT HE TOLD ME THAT THE TV CHASSIS HAS TO BE REPLACED AND IT WILL COST AROUND 4500/-+ SERVICE CHARGES BUT WHEN I ENQUIRED ABOUT THE RATE IN SERVICE CENTRE THEY TOLD ME 3500/-+SERVICE CHARGES 200/- BUT NOW WHEN I AM GIVING CALLING TO THIER TECHANCIAN Mr.SHAIKH HE IS NOT RESPONDING IE NOT PICK UP HIS MOBLE([protected]).SO MY TV IS OFF FOR ABOUT 15 TO 20 DAYS.

                                I bought Sansui Plasma TV last year, from 15 days it is not working, i am trying to get in touch with the Call centre the numbers are out of service.

                                3 months back we had a problem in the power supply unit. We rectified it with the help of your Sansui Service Center ( Kirthikaa Electronics, No-5, Vinayagam Street, Salem 636 016.Tamil Nadu ). and we paid the service charge as per their bill.

                                Again we face the same problemon 29th october 2009 and we handover the Plasma TV to your Service Center on 30th of October 2009. Till date they could not able to find out the fault and They informed me to change the total power supply unit PCB cost roughly about Rs.10, 000/-. We shocked and totally unsatisfied with their conclusion.

                                Kindly take the necessary step and do the needful immediately.

                                  i had purchased a sansui furatto 21'' eye-p flat tv on 22/08/2007, last night when i on the tv there was some blinking in it and then it just off with a very powerful sound, when i started the tv again it happened, then i just put off its back and start the tv then i saw the e.s.t. was leaking. now the tv is starting but i m not able to see anything in it, there is only a black window appearing, all functions are working but due to this black background i m unable to see any picture.pls do reply me i[censored] able to help me.

                                        Poor Quality and After Sales Service of SANSUI TV

                                        I am an unfortunate customer who purchased a SANSUI 32" LCD TV on 5th September 2008 from M/s IDEA Home Appliances, Trivandrum vide BILL No. 1095 dated 5th September 2009.

                                        The TV worked well for 8 months and developed some complaints during May 2009. TV will get automatically switched off within 5 to 10 minutes after you ON it. Then , we have to switch it off manually and wait for another 5 to 10 minutes and and re-start once again. But after another 5 to 10 minutes the same problem will recur. I have telephoned to the dealer[protected] and he gave me the number of the local service station (Trivandrum[protected]. I telephone to the local service station as directed by the dealer and got a reply that first I have to ensure that the electrical connections are OK and and then register a complaint with the National TOLL FREE NUMBER ([protected]). So, I verified the electrical connection and the complaint continued and hence registered a complaint with the TOLL FREE NUMBER on 1st June 2009.
                                        (Complaint No. COC / [protected] dated[protected]. Within 2-3 days a service personnel called me and visited my residence. He tried so repairs with the limited equipments he had with him and told me that if the complaint is repeating, I have to bring the TV to their service station at my own cost.

                                        I observed the same for a few days, found that the complaint has not at all rectified and hence i called the service centre once again and asked for help. He repeated the demand that i have to take the 32" TV to his service centre for conducting a detailed check up and putting it under observation. I sought for his help to transport the TV to his centre since the service centre is having a vehicle of their own. He expressed his inability and saidd that the vehicle for MARKETING and TRANSPORTATION OF NEW TVs and nor for bringing old ones for repair. I told him that mine is also a NEW TV purchased 8 months back and is under ONSITE Warranty period and the inability of the Service Centre to Repair it is not my Problem and the service Centre should take delivery of the TV from my Home if they need a detailed check up and observation. But to my utter dismay and disappointment, he repeated what he has already told me and asked me to register another complaint, if i am not satisfied with his reply with the NATIONAL TOLL FREE Number.

                                        So I registered another complaint with the National TOLL FREE Number on 21-6-09 ( Complaint NO. 210609 L 0033 dated[protected]. I also asked them how they closed my earlier complaint dated 1-6-09, for which they replied that they have a report that one salesperson has visited my residence and rectified the complaint. But asked him whether he has cross checked for which I got a negative answer in which he clarified it is not in our policy / agreement with the company. I understood that they are only an outsourced agent for SANSUI and many other companies like this. The voice on the other side confirmed it and clarified that there are lot of complaints about SANSUI TV and rectification will take some time. Anyway I asked him not to close the complaint without my satisfactory report and record whatever I said. He promised me to take up the matter with SANSUI Cochin Office also.

                                        After two three days the service personnel from Trivandrum service Centre called me in my Mobile ([protected]) and repeated the demand that I should bring the TV to their Service Centre and they may not be able to help me in arranging the vehicle to lift the TV from my residence. As you may be aware, 32" LCD TV is very heavy and bulky in size when you want to transport and ordinary Auto rickshaws and TAXI people does not allow such bulky, oversize packets in their vehicle. I expressed my difficulty and asked their help to life the TV from my residence using the vehicle available at the service centre, for which the service personnel centre responded negatively with a big NO. I contacted the Manager of the service centre and he told me that the vehicle has gone to Cochin and he may try to help if possible when it comes back. After two three days I called him once again and he told that the vehicle has gone for repairs and he may try to help me after the vehicle comes back. Both the times he requested me to bring the TV to the service Centre by arranging a transport carrier with packing case to get the defects rectified at the earliest without waiting for their Vehicle. But since I am a Bank Executive and i have to start as early as 8.30 AM from my residence to rech the office in Time and will come back only by 7 PM on all working days. So I have to take a day's leave for bringing the TV to the service centre and another day's leave to bring it back in addition to the cost of transportation for a transport vehicle from my pocket. All these things within 8 months of my purchasing a Brand New LCD 32" TV from SANSUI. I am customer who used my earlier CTV for 15 years continuously without any complaint and exchanged the same for this SANSUI TV.

                                        I expected for the help of the Service Centre and waited in anticipation of their call when their vehicle becomes free , but no reply came despite repeated calls most of the time unattended and even if attended by different persons, quite unaware of the background of the case to whom I have to explain the 3 month old history of the complaint and geography of my residence every time. There is no reference Number system at the local service Centre at Trivandrum and hence I went on repeating the history and geography to those unidentified service personnel every instance but without any positive response.

                                        I registered another follow up complaint on 24th August 2009 (Complaint No. COC /[protected] DATED[protected] mentioning the details. Again the service centre personnel from Trivandrum called me on the second day and repeated the same old message and demand. I told him that the requirement has been created by the lack of infra-structure or lack of expertise of the service personnel to provide on-site warranty and hence i am not responsible for transporting the TV to the service centre. They have been provided with a vehicle and my residence is hardly 3 to 4 KM from their office. If such a small help is not rendered by the service centre within the warranty period, how they are going to render service after the warranty period.

                                        To my surprise there was no confirmation call or cross verification call from the TOLL FREE Number till date.

                                        I registered another complaint with the TOLL FREE NUMBER for follow up quoting all these reference on[protected]Complaint No. COC/[protected] dated[protected] once again quoting these reference number. The Toll Free Number person responded that if they arrange a vehicle I have to bear the cost (Rs.150/-) and it is better that I arrange the vehicle. I am yet to receive a reply from the local service station. I also want the TOLL FREE NUMBER personnel to escalate my complaint to a higher level, because it is pending since 1st June 2009 and I am NOT Watch the TV thereafter. It is kept well packed in the packing case for the service centre to transport to their local office. They also told me to contact [protected]@vgmail.in and send an SMS to 53030. I have done both. But i lost the failth in the company. SANSUI India is a company which thinks that the customer, especially after selling its product, is a small fry, SILENCE and "No RESPONSE" are the BUZZ Words, when the whole world believe that Customer is KING and Service with a SMILE is the BUZZ word... The COMPANY appears to be HAPPY, as per their WEB Site, but Not the Customer; But how long...

                                        It is not the cost or Rs.150/- that matters for a customer, but owning the responsibility and rendering effective after sales service is the key fact. Whatever marketing efforts a company does, it will not work if the after sales service is poor and the system is NOT owning the responsibly of the mistake and rectifying the same at the earliest. The company is getting an opportunity to know their defects and if they want to reach out to millions they should own their NAME and responsibility of their Products and its Quality. A 32" LCD TV developing a complaint within 8 months of its purchase, tell about its quality and a customer who purchased the same could not watch that TV because of the poor after sales service despite knocking all the possible door tells upon the Credibility of the Company and its willingness to Own the responsibility of its products and its quality and service.

                                        I simply gave a GOOGLE Search in the net, “SANSUI - Complaint", and there comes hundreds of links to the complaints from MUMBAI, PUNE and different parts of the country about the poor quality and after sales service.

                                        Now I understand that i have made a GREAT MISTAKE by purchasing the SANSUI TV and I will have to pay the price for it if I want to keep it with me for the rest of my life. I thought that I need not purchase another TV for the next 15 years like my old one. But I repent now in going for a wrong Brand name without looking into the INTERNET.

                                        I will definitely publish this letter wherever possible (including local Newspapers/ Internet/ Consumer redressal forum/ MRTP Commission) to make the public and the authorities aware of SANSUI Brand and its way of OWNING its products and its quality and after sales service. People should know the way in which they are being treated before and after the sales. Marketing is NOT the LAST word in SALES, it is the STARTING POINT. If one makes a wrong start, definelty they have to suffer at the end, surely a disastrous end.....

                                        Remember a customer and his family will never forget and forgive the COMPANY and its BRAND NAME which has presented the THREE MONTHS in their life when he could NOT WATCH his Newly Purchased 32" SANSUI LCD TV for no fault of theirs except the fact that they believed in the Marketing Team of the Company...

                                        I also have a different problem. After switching on the TV, the remote will not work and we cannot change the channels or audio. We have to switch off and then TV remote will work for some time and again the same problem occurs. A service person attended the complaint and he did something in the remote and said that soldering has to be done and he looted 250/- for that and went off. The problem continues. My TV is 1 year and 1 month old. Is the SANSUI authorities blindfolded? They are not bothered about the after sales service.

                                        My LCD TV was purchased last year in the month of January, after about 8 months, the LCD started giving problems, it used to get hanged in between and not start immediately, then we used to swtich off the TV and start after few minutes, then it used to get started. After few days the problem became so worst that the TV used to get hanged for several hours. I logged a complaint online but got no proper feedback from the company. Asked the dealer to send someone for repairing, bcoz it was in warranty period. Then the person came after 3 to 4 days, he temporarily did the work and went away. But again after few days the problem started, but this time more worser. The TV doesnt starts for several hours and if it starts then the colour of the picture turns blue, everything appears blue on screen.
                                        The remote is not working since last 10 months

                                        I had purchased a Sansui 26" LCD TV from Grihavaibhav, Jp Nagar, Bangalore.After a period of 18 months I started getting problems one after the other.First, the Tv stopped working. I called up the service personnel and he repaired it I paid Rs.750/- for the service..In another 10 days the screen started turning green and I had to again call the service personnel.He repaired again and I was asked to cough up another Rs.750/- towards service charges.As though what had happened was not enough, again the TV stopped working and I had to call the service personnel again who repaired and again demanded RS.750/-.I reluctantly paid Rs.750/-again.After another 15 days it went out of order again.I was exasperated by the poor quality of TV sold to me and all my efforts to set it right has gone in vain.THIS SANSUI LCD 26" TV LIES AS A JUNK in my house.

                                        I have purchased a 32" Sansui LCD TV in BIG BAZAAR (Kachiguda Branch) in Feb 2011. Exactly after 1 year 7 Months the display is not working i, e the screen becomes white after 10 min of switching on. I technician who visited said the cost of NEW PANEL is Rs.12, 000. I hope we get a new TV for that. Never purhcase sansui.
