Dear sir/madam,
In last two weeks i have been receiving calls from people presenting themselves to be recruiters from shine.com. As i have been actively looking for a job, i got vulnerable when they advertised that they could get me hired in my preferred location. So, in return i was asked to mail my documents including recent coloured photo, id proof (I gave driving licence), highest qualification certificate and 10th and 12th mark sheets, along with an amount of rs.1500/-. I sent all that without checking their authenticity. Below are fraudsters' details:

Email id: [protected]@mail.com

Kindly do something about this immediately, please. Urgently attend my problem.

Shine.com Customer Care's response
Dear Sir,

Greetings from shine learning.

With reference to your complaint, we would like to inform you that these days a lot of fake recruiters are calling the candidates using the name of reputed job portals and extract heavy money from them. We will like to clarify that Shine.com is not linked with any such recruiter or consultants/Paytm.

This kind of no such activity has been done at our end, in association with such fraudster. We have been receiving such complaints from some customers/general public who have become victims of such fraudulent and cheating activities at the hands of many criminal elements.

Also, many senior authorities have been initiated by our company to control these activities. You can initiate the below actions before relevant authorities for your claims:- A) File a complaint with your bank to get a chargeback and ask them to blacklist the merchant who made this transaction.

I was approached by shine.com representative 'ankit' and got a deal for rs.15585/- for services of "resume writing', 'linkdin resume writing', 'resume booster', featured profile and job interview preparation program. Once the payment is done i got a prompt call from one 'ms. Pooja (Mob no:[protected])' saying that i need to pay 15000 to activate some personalized services. I shouted and did not respond. They had provided a resume which is very pathetic. Again i got call from pooja and she showed me heaven on palm and convinced me to pay rs.11326/- and also confirmed that no more payment is required going ahead. I paid. Immediately after that i got a call from one mr. Shivam (Mob:[protected] / [protected]) saying that they are allocating personal attention from mumbai and i need to open the link they send. I was shocked to see that again a payment of rs.30001/- was asked to pay. They called me and tried to convince me and said that they are reducing the price for rs.17420/- and that is the last payment. I got a email from hindustan times mail id asking for payment. This girl pooja might have called atleast 25 times for payment. With no services received from them so far i have paid more than 25k. This is a clear cheating. They are playing with emotions and trying to cheat more and more.

First i received a call from shine.com telling if you pay money for your profile. We'll make recruiters to visit your profile more. So i paid rs 4248/-. After paying they called me to update the resume, and sent me another link to pay rs 5899/-. I asked them that you did not mention that there will be any other further charges, they told that paying that amount is mandatory. So, i ask them for the refund amount of rs 4248/- (The money which i paid at first). They told it's not possible to refund money, and even told me to pay the amount of rs 5899/- or loose your rs 4248/-.

I googled the reviews after reading reviews i understood that shine.com is worst website. Many people got cheated and complained.
And there is no action from the government.
I kindly request you to punish the shine.com people for this kind of cheating and save more people from being cheated.

Basically i was looking for a job, i received call from [protected] telling that they have various openings and i will have to pay one time registration charge of rs. 100 for which i agreed and i was asked to google and search the site and the site url was http://www.shineregister.com/registration.php, was guided to fill my details then as i saw registration amount as rs. 100 i proceeded for payment, i selected sbi netbanking to make the payment i was prompted with credentials to login (Which did not look like sbi page) i did the same and continued i received otp and confirmed the payment (Initially i didn't check the amount) then i received sms of 5000 rs. Being deducted, when i informed this the person said he will refund the amount of rs.4900 and again received otp i confirmed and rs. 10000 was deducted, he said totally rs. 14900 is to be paid back again asked me to share the otp and he would refund rs. 15000 immediately, i wasn't convinced however since i had already lost the amount i shared the otp with which i lost total of rs. 30000, the person on call said that he will call tomorrow and refund the amount and disconnected the call.

To give a background on reason for transferring the amount was shine.com is one of the known job search portal which made me believe.

                                Hi team,

I received a call from the number ([protected]) and i was requested to share an otp. Since i shared the otp, i am unable to login using my registered mobile number to paytm wallet. Also i have received a mail stating that the username has been updated to [protected].

Can you please help me track this issue at the earliest, since a huge amount has been debited from my paytm wallet and bank account linked to it.

7000 had been debited from my netbanking and 1200 has been taken from my paytm wallet. If you cannot give a good service atleast do not fool the customers by doing fraud things. I want my amount back at any cost or else i shall write horrible reviews from all people and spoil your shine website.

I am from ahmadabad and i have bought services on shine.com but i have lost my 25000 rupees, these types of websites are fraud, they will offer you jobs, and if you will agree you will trap in their web, they will tell you to pay for their resume services initially and then they will sell you a lot of irrelevant products. I had done the same mistake and i was trapped and my 25000 were gone, on first call they brainwash your mind and you will trap in their plan, after by you pay to their account and they will not recieve your call they will switch off mobile. Please don't get trapped otherwise you will trapped. The mastermind is vinod kumar who is sales head. I have been asked to write email to zairus. [protected]@hindustantimes.com and anup. [protected]@hindustantimes.com, to get refund. Don't know if these are relevant people. Someone share the email id of the ceo of hindustantimes, i would want not only refund but also apology of this fraud happening, else i no option but go to police. I need my money badly as i am sole earning member of family and no job i don't know what to do

                                        Dear sir/madam,
I have been cheated by shine.com. I got a call on 13.02.2019 from shine.com for registration on shine.com with amount of Rs. 4248.00 with this they are committed me to giving 30 days of job alerts and help in conducting the interviews in good companies accordingly I have paid this amount to shine.com.
But after paying this amount again I have recieved a call by demanding again Rs. 10698.00 with this they offering me some other services, again I believe on his words and paid the same.
But after paying that amount again they are forced me to pay Rs. 12744.00 by saying without paying this amount your subscription is not getting complete hence I again paid demanding amounts and I felt my self cheated at that time.
Now they are again demanding Rs. 40000.00 for further processing of my services by saying if I am not paying than whole amount will be waste.

                                        Please find attached payment invoices.

Please help in return my money from shine.com.
And take appropriate action again shine.com
