Hello,

i brought a mobile phone from Star Cj Alive. i saw advertisement in tv & book my product in Feb 2011. i recived product on time after few month there is miner prob in my mobile.
i gone in service center they check my mobile repair but they charge Rs.1000/- in under warrenty period. i already saw a bill to service center person but they no refund my money. please help me out

      A netbook was ordered from Star CJ Live on 07.08.2011 . The same was delivered to me on 20.08.2011 . The problems with this netbook are as follows :

      1. The battery is dead. The battery does not power the net book even after charging it for 3-4 hours.

      2. The screen is blank and displays nothing/ absolutely nothing on starting.

      All these problems started happening on 20.08.2011 from the first start itself.

      When Star Cj was contacted, they blankly refused saying the product was under manufacturers warranty and that they do not bear any responsibility/obligation for the same. My question stands, when you provide an inferior quality product which is dead on arrival you stand responsible to change/replace/refund the sum paid for it.
      I hereby request Star Cj to refund the sum and get the inferior quality product collected from the delivery address.

      Any additional details can be collected/gathered from the invoices attached.

        I had booked an Acer gateway laptop after watching an exciting offer on television shown by STAR CJ Network India Pvt. Ltd. (STAR CJ) on 17 sep. 2011. After booking i had received an sms from TD-Star CJ at 08:09 am on 18 sep. 2011 that " Dear Mr/Ms Rathor, we have not received your online payment towards your order no. [protected] for an amount of Rs. 30999. You can pay online at http://pg.starcj.com/pg. Your order will be cancelled if the remittance is not made before 19 sep. 2011." After receiving the above sms i had made online payment of Rs. 30999 through my HDFC credit card on 18 sep. 2011 at 02:30 pm. On 19 sep 2011 my bank confirmed me that your payment has been made to merchendiser "star cj" & also star cj has converted it into EMI of Rs. 10333 for 3months.
        After that I made a call to star cj customer care no. [protected] regarding the confirmation of the payment, they said that payment is not reflecting in their system and they will wait for another 48hrs. for the payment confirmation.
        Even the payment made on time and converted in to EMI by the Star CJ which has also been confirmed by my bank, Star CJ has cancelled my order on 21 sep 2011 without any prior and post information. If they had mentioned in their sms that they will cancel the order if they will not received payment before 19 sep 2011, why star CJ has cancelled my order on 21 sep 2011 and blocked my payment for another 2 days. Still my payment is blocked and am not able to do any further purchase.

        Kindly look into the matter and do justice for me.

        True, I have done online shoping for whirlpool 25Ltr microwave, on 25th Oct2011, and today is 23 November, and i still waiting for my product to get delivered at my place.

        nobody bothers to attend my call when im calling for my order status.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I am posting this complaint on behalf of wife, Richa Sharma – cell no. [protected]. My wife has placed an order to Star CJ Alive on 27th August 2011 for Benetton Blue 3 Combo T-shirts of Rs. 1399. On 3rd September 2011 we have received box from Gati Courier Company, Docket number: [protected], containing only two T-shirts instead of 3 but their courier boy Rajan Lakhani, cell no. [protected], had collected full amount from us of Rs. 1399.

          When we have called Star CJ they told us they sent the remaining T-shirt in another box, Docket number:[protected] and would receive in next 4-5 working days. When we followed with the courier company and Rajan then they told us that our T-shirt has came but Star CJ has mentioned “COD Delivery (Please pay) Amount 599”. I would like to inform you that earlier box receipt which we have received has clearly mentioned “Declared Cargo Value of Rs. 800” but the full amount has been collected from us i.e. 1399 and now again Star CJ sent COD of Rs 599 for box which we have already paid to them.

          I and my wife have call number of times to Star CJ to rectify the error and sent updation of 0 balance to Gati courier company so that we will receive our remaining T-shirt but they are not doing so and every time we have to face a new executive and need to explain this story and also they are assuring that they forwarded our complaint to concern department and they will call you but we have never received any call from Star CJ yet.

          Moreover, on 14th Sep my wife talk to one of the senior of Star CJ executive Shradha and she assure us that they sort out this issue asap. But when we called to Rajan Lakhani, Gati courier company, then he told us that Star CJ sent an updation of COD of Rs. 999 and now when we pay 999 then they will send us the remaining box.

          We are really frustrated of such worst customer service from Star CJ Alive and it’s a nothing more than a fraud company at all. If possible; we would request you to Ban telecasting of Star CJ ALIVE on air.

          Also, I would request you to please look into this and take a strict action against them.

            I am a customer of starcj alive and very disappointingly saying that the service provided by is very worse.
            The reason to come to this conclusion is that
            I had ordered a Reebok playlight Shoes on 24 Aug 2011 on basis of Cash on delivery.
            I received the order after a long time and after giving couples of complaints on 3rd Sep 2011 inspite of your promise of sending the product within 5 working days as i live in Mumbai. I accepted the product and cleared the full setlement. But after opening the product i find that the size i had ordered and the product size dispatched was varying.
            I had ordered size 10 and i recived the shoes of size 8. a huge difference.

            I thaught there might a mess up so i placed a replacement order on the same day 03 sep 2011. But till date ie. 19th Sep 2011 i havent't received the replacement inspite of
            making the complaints more than couple of times I dont know what is this going this on. The customer care people just says we have registerd you complaint and
            you will receive a call from the delivery person on your mobile. but till date i have received any call or any replacement.

            Just do let me know how a customer can believe such shopping site. Is there any alternative way to collect the right replacement or can i personally collect the replacement product.
            If possible can you please help me.

              this is to inform that i purchased one samsung rv 409 laptop from star cj and made the payment online through credit card but i cancelled the order and ordered another laptop and i sent back the cancelled order on 30th of aug 2011.

              then after they said that they take 7 to 10 working days of returning back the payment but till date i had not received back any payment i am calling everyday to their customer care but their is no proper response from their side i called them at least 6 to 7 times in 3 days but everytime they say that my complain is under process and i wil get the feedbak i registered my complain on 12th of sept and still there is no response but still 3 days after there is no response from their side my instalment will be charged on 17th of september and i wil not be paying that and i will claim the amount from your company with interest as i had returned the product without receiving it and they have also received it back but you have not returned my payment of credit card.

              please note that i already also had purchased two more products from your side only and i had to make instalment payment for those also so i wil not be paying this third payment of cancelled order which i wil take action against you if not paid back before 17th of september

              please take strict action as soon as possible

              Yes the star CJ people are big online frauds and dont shop with them. I am never going to shop with them.
              There are other awesome online shops like www.letsbuy.com, www.flipcart.com these people will sell genuine products.

                  I had asked the customer support of STARCJ ALIVE on[protected] before placing the order online that the items as shown on TV advertisement will be delivered if the order is placed online or on phone. The customer support had informed that there shall be no difference.
                  I have not received all the gift item shown on TV. The Recipe Book is missing. Two mittens are missing (TV advertisement showed at least four mittens will be given, I have received only one). Incomplete (Only one Idli tray & a yellow bowl) Starter Kit has been sent (TV advertisement showed seven piece starter kit will be delivered) After receiving incomplete set of items, I called the customer support again and informed the discrepancy. The customer support has promised to deliver the missing items at the earliest. It is over a month and i have not received any response from their side.I am waiting to see how early these missing items will be delivered to me.

                  Last monday i had orderd combo of 3 T shirts, but i had missed order no, and i hadn't get the product too. please kindly get back to me regarding this issue.

                  Star CJ — Wrong and missing Order

                  Hi,

                  My name is Sumit and I ordered a Benetton 3 t-shirt combo through starcj. Product was delivered on 6th aug 2011. When I checked the order there was 1 t-shirt missing and 1 was of wrong size.

                  When I called the customer care they said that they will exchange the wrong size t-shirt in business days and regarding missing t-shirt I will receive call in 24-48hrs from warehouse department. On 8th aug, 2011 I again called the customer care because I DID not received any call from warehouse department and they said that they are forwarding my complaint on priority and I will get a call within 24hrs and this was done after calling them for about 4times. Again till 10th aug I DID not received any call and when I called them they again said that I will receive a call in 24-48hrs.. when asked to connect with supervisor they said that they will transfer my call and when the call got transferred nobody picked the call and it got disconnected.. this happened 4 times and on fifth time they made me talk to the supervisor and he promised that it will take another 5 business days to reach 2 t-shirts on for exchange and another from missing order...
                  after this I received a call from starcj and the representative said that they do have the stock available and they will refund the order. Asked about the turnaround time for getting my money back and they said that in next 5 business days they will send someone to my place to collect the order and after that it will take another 10 business to get my money back... I want to know what about my time that I wasted in calling these people and what about the calls that I made... and also after all the harassment they blocked my money for 20-25 days...

                  this star cj call center team is the most pathetic team I have ever seen when it comes to service and one should pay extra money in market to by product from market in place of buying from them.

                  Now I am planning to take legal action again starcj for this harassment. Kindly help me in this...

                  I Have Ordered Bhalaria 48pcs stainless steel dinner set On 23/08/2011 . I have received that dinner set but i had not received the free gift with that set.                       I bought a product which was delivered on time as they obviously won't delay when it comes to selling but post selling services are poor. Product has manufacutring defect so I placed a request for an exchange.It has been almost a month and I have made no. of phone calls to them but in vain. Moreover, robotic call centre executives repeating same phrases add to my irritation. I strongly advise you to not to buy from them else you will go through same phase if product needs to be exchanged. If they don't do needful soon, I shall drag them to consumer court.

                      I also watch Star CJ Channel occassionally. However I would like to tell you that they are selling products at a very high price that you would get it with atleast 1000 rs. lesser than their actual price. I have checked with several other products they show on TV and its actual price in the market. I've checked it by personally going in the market and saw by taking that product in my HAND!!!.                         My Name is Mahezbeen Kudchiwala. I bought one camera from Star Cj Alive (that is the biggest mistake I have done). My Order no is[protected]. I placed an order for Samsung 12.2 MP Digital Camera ES80, But I am not received my Camera. I am only received some free gift from star cj that is one bag & some vouchers. I already made a compliant in star cj, & I am daily making follow-ups from them via E-mail, but they are not responding me. Now it’s more than 8 days. I already make the complete payment when I accept the product but I am not received my camera.

                        They are just making fool to everybody by showing good offers. But actually they are cheating everybody.

                        Now I wanted my camera any how if I am not recived I will directly meet star cj in consumer court.

                          Sir, I ordered a 23 liter microwave from STAR CJ as it was giving 4 free gifts with it namely
                          1. Reciepe book.
                          2. Maharaja mixer grinder
                          3. Microwave utensil set including Idli maker
                          4. Non stick Dosa Tawa.
                          I recieved the microwave on 06/09/2011 but without any gift.
                          I have made atleast 100 phone calls to STAR Cj but everytime they say that they will enquire and revert back but no body has bothered to call me back. I have made atleast 50 calls to the courier service provider ARAMEX but they say that they have recieved only microwave and nothing else. It is clearly written on the courier that they recieved the microwave only as it is mentioned on it and its weight also.
                          I have sent atleat 5 mails to STAR CJ but still no reply.
                          I want to tell the common people that I am An Advocate and they can do this to me then no body is safe from them. This is a fraud company , kindly keep away from it and tell your all friends and relatives to keep away from this fraud company.

                              My self RAJ KUMAR,from Greater Noida, I have placed a order to star cj of sunflame gas stove on 23.08.11. My order no. is [protected]. & star team commeted me for delivery in 5 working day. But still i have not getten the same. I have around 30-40 times call at service centre ,Every time everybody respond me that we will call back you with in 2 hrs. But not a single call i have getten till,
                              Even response from executive that plz. confirm at courier service,Is it responsibility of courier service or STAR CJ, Some body respond me plz cancel your order & reorder it ,is it right method to sort out the problem,
                              Sir i am suffering from last 15 days , Plz. solve this matter
                              As this is my first experience of purchasing from Star Cj, & I am very much frustrated,
                              As no body responding me & no call back from STAR CJ SIDE side,
                              So I request to you to resolve this

                                Non deliver gift after commitment
                                I received a letter written & signed by Ankit Anubhav dated 28 June from Star CJ Network Pvt Ltd that I has been chosen as a Lucky winner by participating in the" Jawaab Do aur Inaam Lo" contest on Star CJ Alive program.
                                The Prize was Samsung DVD Player of MRP-3400/
                                He mentioned that they required three documents to claim my prize-Identity Proof, Colored passport size photo & copy of Pan Card.
                                So i contacted him on phone & told them because i am a student so yet i have not applied for PAN card & as a identity Proof, i can send you my college I Card copy. They agreed for that.
                                After that i despatched all these documents thru DTDC courier in Do No-Z42184400 on 9/7/2011 & confirmed receiving from their office on phone. After 20 days when i called him regarding my current gift despatch status, he replied me, Have some passions, you have not invested a single pie for that gift. However we will send you this gift with in a week. Now one month gone still I have not received my gift.
                                I want to know what is the current despatch status of my gift? And it is for their information we invested on SMS for replying + phone calls + courier charges + disturb mental peace after listening their reply.

                                  This is complaint regarding an open fraud company STAR CJ ALIVE.
                                  I have placed order of Sony ericsson mobile phone Cedar.
                                  I have made complete payment online of Rs. 4999/-.
                                  My order no. is. :[protected].
                                  They promise to deliver the product within 10 days.
                                  But even after more than 20 days they are not responding.
                                  We have called them number of times but they always say that they
                                  will call back within 48 hours,but each time there is no response.
                                  I am a working person and don't have much time to follow them.
                                  Please help me to get back my hard earned money.

                                  I agree I Namrata Singh is also facing same problem, I ordered two product together and received only one, I had made online payment for both of them and received the challan for both.Now I have logged complaints about 10 times via call, several times communicated via mails, I get assurance of receiving the product in 2 days, or a call by eveving, every time the complaint is taken as new and old is neglected.its been around 2 month, neither the product is received, nor the refund been made.I am sick of this site, I would request people never buy any product from these people.

On 08 August 2011 i ordered the T-Shirt through a T.V Promotion. what went wrong with me was you took Rs:1199 for the price of 3 T-Shirts & only one was provided to me . Despite of making numerous calls to your customer cell they are unable to provide me the solution.
                                    It has been extremely unfortunate that Brand name like Star CJ could also do this type of things.

                                      I had booked for a samsung metro phone from Starcj Alive a few days back.
                                      I received the parcel on 25th august 2011 and when I opened it, I found that the packet was tampered and there was no handset or charger of the mobile phone that I had requested for. I had called the customer care and registered my complaint. I have also made the payment by cash. I am at a total loss since I have made a payment and not received the device.
                                      The customer care does not give a solution to the problem even after calling everyday.
                                      Now they have even started disconnecting the phone whenever I make a call.
                                      I am at a total loss.

                                        Dear I dont think any sensible or educated person in this organization is available. I given a order of easy Mop "ORDER No.[protected]" and payment from my account detected same time but after one month not the product is delivered yet nor the your foolish customer care and system know how to solve the problem. Whenever i call (made more than 20 calls) the customer care girl always says they will arrange a call back but yet no one called me. I need my 100% money back.
