I was placed my order no.[protected] a bed table on 09/11/2011 from STAR CJ alive through on line with advance payment.

My requirement was very urgent because my brother coming from UK need this product and plan to taken along with him on 25/11/2011.

When I placing the order delivery period committed on there web site is 5 working days.

I follow-up for my consignment after 10 days and listen STAR CJ revised delivery period to 10 working days.

I again follow up for the same after 15 days and no response.

1 call STAR CJ more then 50 times in between but every times executive said he will check, fill a complained. But not a clear response I received.

You people are robbers who after getting money of people giving no response and leave them on the way.

Why you shown advertisement on TV and other media source to make the innocent peoples fool.

I am total mentally harassed by regularly follow up with you and want to take some legal action against you.

I ordered online for plastic boxes(used in kithchen) and ordered for 2 quantity...but they delivered 1 quantity...

Mutiple calls...same standard replies :-

>COncerned team is chking in the warehouse for the stock!!
as if they are gng to the companymanufacturing it...and chking there...
ridiculous...


Its been more than a month...and no resolution...

THEY are not even refunding the money...

    since 2 months i am struggling with Star CJ..spent alot of my money on calling you mostly on daily basis..and logged a complaint for the compensation too...they haven't refunded my money back ...wrong commitment..also written wrong info on site that you have returned my money but i haven't got that yet. I am fed up with calling them and with your false promises.

    i am mentally harassed by these people..as they r showing on the site that they have refunded my money but after me calling on daily basis ..they r not working on my complaints..also not refunding my money...i am really suffering from there behavior...

    I want them to return my money ...also with the compensation for the trouble given to me and giving wrong info on site..they r not responding me...they r always saying that they don't have info and people from there department will call me...but no body called me for this issue from last 2 months...Please help me getting me justice. I want 1 lac for my suffering for compensation.

    I have cried and mentally harassed by there false promises, i have been on hold for 15-15 mins. also i have called them 25-30 time but they haven't responded back and no solution till now. its been 2.5 month i am suffering.

      Greetings of the day!

      After watching on TV, I ordered one pair of Reebok Sports Shoes Size UK 10 (Rs 1599 offer) on 22nd November 2011 vide order no [protected]. One thing to mention here that I repeated the shoe size many times when I ordered over the phone. Considering brand value of STAR group, I had a very bright picture about Star CJ Alive too, so I was waiting eagerly for the product as this was my first shop. But it was utmost disappointment when I received the delivery on 27th November and to my greatest surprise, the shoe size that was delivered to me was UK 8. How did this miscommunication happened only GOD knows as I repeated many times the shoe size I required.

      I lodged a complaint 27th November itself about the same and followed up later number of times. Every time I was assured the quick resolution but recently they have started telling that this product is out of stock. No specific timeline has been given for delivery. Some of the questions which come to my mind on the functioning of STAT CJ Alive are:
      1) How this order was taken by the concerned executive in the first place if the desired shoe size was not in stock. I believe there is some sort of ERP or inventory system must be in place for such a big and reputed organization?
      2) How the dispatch happened before cross verifying the shoe size with the order details?
      3) What about the costs which I am incurring over and above the price I paid for purchasing the shoes such as my time such as telephone charges (STD), wastage of time and harassment on top of it?

      I hope somebody from StarCJ will respond after reading it. We all belong to civilized society and such acts simply disappoints and shatters the brand image in the mind of the consumers.

        I ordered princeware poppy pet set &veggie fresh containerset on 20/11/2011 during the late evening telecast of the tele add on star CJ alive channel. The add also mentioned a free gift of 6 mircrowavable plates and spoons. I made the booking from the companies tele agent named Krishna and while placing the order, I had confirmed with him about the free gift which he confirmed . The tele recorded conversation may be checked along with the tele add of that evening ( order No.[protected] )
        The product was recevied on 23 / 11/2011 and payment made . However on checking the box , it was found that the free gift was missing. I immediately lodged a complain with the Company and recevied a SMS that they will get back soon. However no reply was recevied ,so I followed with them on a number of time and recevied the same reply that they will call back with 2 hour but no calls were recevied.

          This is with reference to above subject, this is to inform you that we have purchased one food processor model no FP-2663 through star CJ Network india private limited on 3rd October,2011. The detail of purchase is as follows.

          4.Dealer Name- MNM TRADING SOLUTION PRIVATE LTD., Franchise of Star CJ Network, B-147,SEC-10, NOIDA.

          Since day one the food processor is not working. For demo, someone from Usha came on 11/10/2011 ( against request no-C11A1100938 DT.11/10/2011) . He told the M/C is defective and suggest us to do the complaint. We did complaint on 18/10/2011( C11A[protected] . Someone came and took the part of M/C and didnt turn up till 9/11/2011. On 9th we made the complaint again ref. complain no C[protected] DT. 09/11/2011. But surprisingly no action has been taken from company. Again we called customer care cell ([protected]) on 01/12/2011. The executive ask for two more days to rectify the problem.

          Finally on 4th December Mr. R.V.Yadav came with defective part ( which they took on 18/10/2011), but were still unable to rectify the problem. In front of him we called up again to Usha customer care cell and spoke to executive, according to him, only Mr. yadav will do the rectification. If he is not able to do so, he (company) cant do anything. It was really a shocking answer to us.Now the problem is your service centre is unable to rectify the M/C and company is refusing to do anything, please suggest what to do. We purchased M/C on 3Rd October, 2011 , since then we are not able to even start the food processor. We are calling STAR CJ again and again but no action has been taken. Demo person also told us that as you have purchased this m/c from Star CJ, it is substandard , as they are selling defective substandard M/C'S only. We are requesting you once again to rectify the problem other wise you will force me to go to consumer court.

            Hi,
            I ordered for 2 items. One was delivered in broken condition and the second item never got delivered. Despite my several reminders I did neither get the replacement nor the missing item. Finally on 13-Nov-2011 I asked the customer care team to cancel my order and refund the money. They told me that my money would be refunded in 10 working days. I waited for 10 working days. But on the 10th working day I got call from the customer care to check that the products are delivered to me or not. That was very surprising to me. They do not have the latest status of the order. I told them that I have cancelled that order and my money should reach me by today. To that they told me that the product needs to be collected before paying back. I am unable to understand this. when i asked for order cancellation they did not tell me about this.They did not send anyone to collect the item in last 15 days and on the refund date they told me the new procedure. That day I Spoke to their manager and he promised me to get this resolved within a week. Till today I have not got any update. i do not see i would be getting my money back without the help of consumer court.
            The service provided by star Cj is really pathetic and i would request all to avoid this. The items are cheap but they deliver the broken items.

              the worst experience one can get....i ordered a mobile phone which stopped working within a warranty periode...i didnt got imei number so asked for it from company...even after 2 months and several complaints no one is able to look into the matter...this is the worst form of service i ever received ever......i wont reffer anyone to opt for starcj products....

                Hello Sir/Madam

                My name is Mohammad Khalid and I am a second time victim of an extremely incapable and pathetic online shopping company STAR CJ. I ordered a digital camera from this poor company on 30th October to gift on my brother's wedding and was assured that the product will be delivered to me in 5 working days. My order number was[protected].

                After waiting until 9th of November when the product was not delivered even after several promises and numerous phone calls made to STAR CJ, I had to cancel the order because I was going out of station to attend my brother's wedding. While cancelling the order I was assured by the representative from Customer Service that the payment I made through my HDFC credit card will be refunded within 7-10 days.

                Since then till date (30/11/2011), I have been contacting STAR CJ daily inquiring about the refund that has not reached my HDFC credit card. And the representative on the other end only gives me one answer that "your complaint has been raised and some one from the complaints team will call you in 24 hours" which has not happened till date.

                I had no other option other than to raise this issue here and I seriously willing to sue STAR CJ with the way I have been treated and dealt with. They are extremely incapable lot of people with least interest in their customers and I will not recommend any one to use this company for any purchases.

                I am looking forward for compensation from this company for the hassles I had to go through and if any further actions are required, I am ready to take this further. This kind o[censored]nprofessional behaviour cannot be tolerated and I am extremely annoyed with the way I have been treated I wasted my time and money following up with my request on daily basis.

                I am looking forward for a speedy resolution for this issue and obviously some serious fines imposed on this company causing inconvenience to the customer and I know I am not the only person impacted by this, there are several other victims.

                I am also facing the same problem from star cj.I also order one Memory pillow and paid online throgh credit card on 1.11.2011 . Till now I neither recived product nor refund. Response is same :your complaint has been raised and some one from the complaints team will call you in 24 hours" which has not happened till date.

                Service level of Starcj is pathetic and cheating to customers.I am looking forward for a speedy resolution for my concern and obviously some serious fines imposed on this company causing inconvenience to the customers.

                  I have order a jewellery collection on Star CJ of bangle size 2.6. But I received 2.4. I register my complain three times but each time I have delivered with 2.4 size instead of asked 2.6 size. All this is highly unprofessional. Great harassment. Spent too much time, money on weekly basis for complains.

                  Big mistake at my end was that I have made a online payment before hand. Thus, now I am running after them to get the refund.

                  I will strongly recommend you to stay completely away from this fake site to save your money, time and peace.

                    I placed an Order with star cj to purchase Onida 32" Chrome LED TV (ROI) wide order No[protected] on 21.10.2011. I paid the full amount of TV through credit card but till now I have not received TV even though they are committed to deliver the consignment within ten working days. Customer care employee gave me the doct no [protected] through which they sent the item through 'AFL COURIER SERVICE' . I contacted to the courier office, they told me that they have not received this item. I told star cj about this but nothing have done so far.                       I had purchased a product from Star CJ Alive (TV channel). Along with the accessories that I purchased for around Rs,1750/- I got a free voucher of VLCC worth Rs. 1000/-. I was required to register with VLCC on a contact number that they had given. This number was not reachable throughout the offer period. As the offer was ending on 30 Sep, 2011 I called up Star CJ customer care number to inform them about this. They said they will revert in 2 days. On getting no revert I again called on 28 Sep, 2011. I was told this time that they will revert by 1800 hrs in the evening on the same day. When I requested for the complaint number for my future reference I was told they did not have any system of complaint numbers.

                      Again on getting no revert I called up on 8th Oct, 2011. The customer service staff conviniently told me that as the offer period was over he could not help me. Also when I insisted on speaking to his supervisor, he said the same thing. They kept me on hold for more than 20 min to just avoid me surely expecting I would get frustrated and disconnect the call. The surpervisor also said that he did not find any record of earlier calls in his system which I think they must have deleted if possible or generally refused to accept.

                      This is how Star CJ guys are fooling people.

                        Hi ! I am Minal, I have ordered for Lee Denim Jeans for Rs.1999/- which comes with free leather belt, sun glasses, traveling bag and vouchers. Against order no. [protected] I got delivery within 4-5 days and I have paid fully rs. 2000/- to courier fellow and collected the parcel. After checking the same I realise that there was no sunglass in it.
                        I have made a complaint of the same immediately and i have been assured that I will be getting short shipped items within few days.

                        After 15 days again I have asked for the development but I have to describe eitire story to new person and in return I got new promises. Again after a week I have approached to a new person with same story and received new (FALSE) promises.

                        I think STAR CJ team just want to fool us as they do not want to attain my complain. Because every time I am repeating all Ramayan to them. They can't put it some remark column?. After that always geiing promises which they never fulfill.

                        I appriciate their team which makes us (all customers) fool because in ad they are showing mind blowing offers but when we received the same we always found some item or other is missing. And since you just pay off full payment to the courier fellow, their purpose is solved. For sympathy they just accept the calls of complaints and gave them false promises and after three four follow-up customer stops follow ups because he/she is completely aggredd thay he/ she had been made chu.... by STAT CJ Team.

                          This is Deepak Deshmukh and I wanted to bring to notice about issue people are facing with Star CJ online.

                          I am also one of victim and I feel this will hamper online shopping in India.
                          If you google it, you will see many people are suffering from online shopping because of Star CJ.
                          I have been following up with them but no help at all. There response is pretty standard and pretty bad.

                          On 29th Oct 2011 I ordered Bajaj food processor and Whirlpool Magiccook microoven. My order number is :- [protected]. I received Bajaj food processor but yet to receive Micro-oven. I have been calling their support number and everytime I get assurance that I will get call in a day. By the way I am yet to receive any call from Starcj. There is no trace of my micro-oven and amount is already gone from my account (I made online payment while ordering these products). Please provide me some repsonsible higher authority email id or mobile number so I can explain this whole mess. I never expected this from Starcj and they really disappointed me.

                            I have ordered 2 items from star CJ on 11 Nov 2011 with order no [protected].
                            items were one Power Hanger and another was 8 piece Princeware bathroom set.
                            I paid thourgh net banking while I received delivery of 1 item on immediate next day.
                            But when i signed invoice i noticed that Invoice was for my both ordered products.
                            Then I called back delivery guy on the number he called me that is [protected].
                            He said that he must have forgot the product at office and will deliver it later.
                            after that I never received Delivery of products I called Star CJ for more than 9 times.
                            There was no proper response from them to heighten my frustration I was told there will be no complaint no.
                            They only identify with order no. hence for every call I have to give them details over and over again.
                            for pathetic question like are you sure you received only one packet? do you have courier person number and name.
                            I am fed up with this now its 2 weeks and not a single call or follow up from Star CJ complaint team.
                            They are sitting on my money and giving reason to me.
                            They dont have order status with them nor courier team details.

                            WARNING TO ALL DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM STAR CJ:

                            1. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS.
                            2, THEY DO NOT HAVE PROPER SYSTEM IN PLACE TO HANDLE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS
                            3. IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT SOMETHING ELECTRONIC FROM THEM AND HAS FAULT MAY GOD HELP YOU BUT STAR CJ WON'T.
                            4. STILL YOU WANT TO BUY ALWAYS OPT FOR CASH ON DELIVERY AND AVOID EXPENSIVE AND ELECTRONIC ITEMS.

                                I had placed and order of Javeri Pearls Kaya & Diya Collection after watching it on their Tv Channel on the 9th Nov 2011. The Payment was through credit card. On the 10 Nov i received a call from them saying that the CC payment has been cleared and i will receive the product in next 5 working days. I called them on the 14 Nov to cross check if the product was dispatched. At first they refused of any such order. Later a gentlemen named Umesh confirmed the order and apologised and told that it will be delivered in next two days.
                                On the 16 Nov i receied a call from Mumbai Customer Care, giving me the docket number[protected] of Gatti Couriers. They told me that the product has been dispatched and i will receive it by 22 Nov.
                                On the 19 Nov i did receive the courier. I signed the slip and opened the packet with excitement. OMG, the product was wrong...i have received some Rajshree Collection of Javeri Pearls.....Where is Kaya & Diya Collection???
                                I immediately called their number[protected] and happened to talk to a fellow called Naseem. He apologized for exchange of Rajshree with Diya and told me that Kaya was delivered to me on the 14 Nov. I was really furious and reminded him of that i had made reminder call on the 14 Nov for the product. How can it be delivered? As i was not satisfied by Naseem i called up again and spoke to Vikrant and told him that i wanted to speak to the supervisor. He said that all the supervisors are busy and will call back surely.....which never happened. He also told me that my complaint has been registered and forwarded to the concerned dept and i will definitely receive a call in next 48 Hrs.
                                Well friends i have note received a call till now and i am worried that i have made the payment and the payment is cleared by the bank. I called up again and wanted to speak to the supervisors but still none of them want to attend my call. I guess all sitting at StarCJ alive are . I purchased this jewellery fr my sister & cousins who are to attend a wedding in Mumbai on the 30 Nov. All are dependent on me...i do not know what to do...should i go to the consumer Protection Court and lodge a complaint?

                                  wrong cancellation of ordr No.[protected], refund not recvd yet,caused mental agony and harassment from starcj.com. I had placed order for sunflame gas stove again, and made the paid online on the same day, while one of the executive of starcj was online, and I confirmed him that the payment has been made. Again my order was cancelled. I have already given the reference number to star CJ by which my credit card A/c has been debited. Till 15.11.11 I have not received my refund. The payment mode of Star CJ is the worse, and there is no hearing for the same. The service is worse. I had contacted the call centre of STAR CJ at least 20 times, every time the time limit of refund is extended. When I want to talk to any supervisor, i am put on hold for 10-15 minutes every time, and then it is told to me, that a call back is being arranged for me, but since 8th of November, I have not received any call. Are the consumers are not tortured by starcj.com, without any fault of them?
                                  My ICICI bank credit card payment, reference no. 893394. I had made atleast 20 complaints via mail and telephone, none have been answered yet.
                                  same problem was faced by me earlier also on 30.10.11, and after huge followup the amount was refunded to me.

                                  My Name is Rohit Mehta. Recently i purchased a Whirlpool Magi cook Microwave 25 L from Star CJ. My Order Number is [protected]. The device is actually out of order from the month of April. We are continuously calling their customer care number to get our device replaced. But its already been a long time, we still havent heard from anywhere. Even the customer care people havent got manners that how to talk to the customers. i[censored] are representing something on a National TV. You shouldnt behave like this. This is the way u r treating Customers. I think There is no Quality team standing over there to catch these customer care executives who even uses the abusive language on Live call with customers.

                                  This is very harassing and i want my refund back from the company. This is my First and last order from Star CJ. Now If Star CJ is going to listen to me will be fine otherwise i will be taking a veru serious action against them.

                                    I had purchased Glen Mini Chopper from Star CJ Alive in the month of Oct. 2011 and had paid the money to the person who delivered. But it was found to be defective and not functioning. I made a number of complaints to the company for immediate replace the product or refund the money, but the company has not done anything. They are simply not responding to my emails too as per their company policy. I would advise all people to be cautioned about purchasing any product from Star CJ Alive as they do not any good corporate governance nor they provide the exact products they advertise on channel.

                                      As you can see the order details above, I purchased this mobile from starcj.com.

                                      It was mentioned on your site, starcj.com, that you deliver your product within 5 days. Even after repeated call you did not deliver your product. I canceled the order when after 8 days you did not send me phone. Your CSR got my cancellation request and promised me to return my money very soon, within 10 days.

                                      But you have not returned my money even after 20 days of order cancellation. Within this time period I have made no of call to your customer care that is very disgusting. Every one says the same thing that you have registered complaint and i would get a call back from you soon. But i never received a call back of my complaint.


                                      i have never seen inadequate customer cares service like that of yours. No one has any information about product. Even after 20 day, no one of your CSR knows about where the product is this time, why product status is not updated when it was returned undelivered, who came to ship the phone, why he did not return the phone to warehouse once returned undelivered, etc.......



                                      This is very disgusting and I am very much frustrated.

                                        I ordered a 20L Whirpool Microwave grill on 22/10/2011 and my order no is-[protected].As per the StarCJ claims in the site as well as on phone and television the product should have been delivered by 5-10 working days.But still now also i haven't received my product and i face harassment by calling each and every day to customer care to get some answer but they are not giving me any solution they kept me waiting for over 3 weeks and the only answer they give is your order is not dispatched,we have wriiten your complain and my order shall be delivered within 3 days.But those three days are not coming anywhere soon.I have no problem in waiting but atleast give me correct answer that why there is so much delay.why there is no status available in my starcj accnt and why the customer care cant give me the correct status..each executive is giving me new answers and almost 5-7 complaints have been registered.I keep calling but the answer is still same.also i dont know the courier from where they send and the franchaisee is not givin any tracking or status of my product nor did i received any call from the company or courier for delivery confirmation and status.and finally they are giving me a solution to cancel my order but they cant give me any status. Either they give me assurance and tracking of my delivery or give me a contact of the shipping company or else i will file complaint gainst starcj to RTI act and also to consumer court and i will make sure you guys give me compensation for the wastage of my time and giving false claim.

U write in to them still no response..
