I had placed an order on-line, with website www.ShopClues.com, for purchase of a copper jug (2 litres size), to be delivered at an address in nainital, uttarakhand, vide order id:[protected] dated 20.07.2017, on 'cash on delivery (Cod)' basis, at a total cost of rs. 844.00 (Product cost rs.815 plus cod fee rs. 29.00). Tracking number was[protected]. Product was delivered on 28.07.17 at the desired (Nainital) address; but it was seen that the item had a manufacturing defect. Water was leaking badly from the joints of the handle. Fact was immediately reported to the said company, on-line, asking for a return of the product and full refund of money (Rs. 844.00 total). Same was approved by the company and reverse pick-up was assured. But, on 02.08.17, an e-mail was suddenly received from the company that the 'return request closed' on a false plea of failure to pick up, with an assurance to contact within 48 hours. Company was again contacted within the given time-frame (48 hours); but no response was received. Thereafter, i've been writing repeatedly to the company; but there is no response, no reverse pick up of the product and no refund of money paid till now it is humbly requested that the product may be reverse-picked-up and the full amount refunded to me, please. Invoice copy is enclosed for ready reference.

Complaint marked as Resolved Company reverted to the consignee through e-mail, picked up the defective product and refunded the money in terms of e-cash.
