I purchased this W/M (Model No.WMO8G26IN/01) on 09.11.2012. The warranty expired on 08.11.2014. I had previously filed a complaint, within the warranty period itself, that the unit constantly showed error during rinse cycle for every wash. But my then complaint was not properly attended in person by the technician, who did all but blame the height of the water tank and the insufficiency of the pressure. I did do the test to check the pressure and it was fine too, yet the technician insisted that the pressure was the only problem and that it could not be rectified. Note that he did not once inspect the unit in person but guided over the phone only. After this on Aug 4th the unit gave some shrill noise when the wash started and so I switched off the machine and filed the complaint No.[protected]. Another technician was sent on my specific request and he inspected the unit and suggested that the Board of the unit got fried due to overload and got to be replaced which would cost Rs.10, 000/- + service charges - 900/- . I was puzzled as there was only 3/4 wash load in the drum. The technician told that the unit could not handle more than one bedsheet at a time. I had a LG w/m previously for about 12 yrs before Siemens. It had no issues with washing mink blankets, comforters, soft toys, luggage bags, etc. I spent 0 for maintenance on LG all the 12 yrs. But with Siemens within a short 2 1/2 yrs I have to pay 11, 000 for what? For my wrong choice? So I kept my case before the customer care and asked for a free replacement or atleast a considerable rebate. The Company also responded and offered to give a 30% discount + service charges which I could not accept, because even then I will have to pay Rs.8000/- which is yet exorbitant. Now what I expect is a free replacement of the Board with 0 service charges ASAP, or else I would replace my w/m for a LG and shall never buy or recommend a Siemens again. PLEASE REPLY ASAP.

    We had issue with Siemens washing machine which i purchased during 2012. With in the span of 3 years the PCB is not working. I was really surprised that the service man from the siemens told this news. It is really a poor quality if the PCB is not functioning with in the span of 3 years. Another big surprise is that the cost of the PCB to replace is Rs 10000. Which is quiet abnormal in the market. Other company PCBs are sold out for 3 to 4 thousands. But in siemens it is sold out for 10 thousands which is not acceptable. Instead spending 10 thousand and changing a new PCB if pay another 10 thousand i can buy a brand new washing machine (definitely not siemens again) Other points also here i wanted to mention about the service. When i loged a call they said they visit with in 48 hours, but they did not turned up for 5 days and again i made another call to the call centre and soughted them to look in to the service then they arranged the service on the same day. But for the service they charged Rs 900. which is quiet high. The other brands are charging only 500 or 600. I definitely don't understand the logic here about the spares cost and sevice charge everthing.. I hope Siemes will take quick action agaist this case and give me a free replacement of the PCB. Infact when i buy this machine, the sales executives suggested IFB but i had strong feel and faith on the siemens and bought the Siemens product. But now i feel that should have followed his words.

        my name is Buvana Ramesh. based in chennai.I bought my dryer model number 34V100HE, 7kg capacity on 6.11.2010.i made a complaint on 9 may 2015 and the complaint number they gave is[protected]. the service person by name Santhosh came and told that circuit board needs to be changed.and i agreed to pay the the charges 9990 since my machine is out of warranty, for the board.after making several calls to jansi she sent the tecnicianand he came with a wrong board, after that they r not picking the calls or even if they pick they tell that spare is not ready, Seimens is known to keep the spares for more than ten years, while buying they higlight this point.but i am wondering the electronic giants of germany or not able to supply a circuit board for a 4 yrs 7 months old machine.The service support done on time will bring more customers not the other way siemens should realise it.

The panel lights are blinking since two weeks. the fridge works of and on; it does not work most of the time. I registered a complaint with fridgehouse, Ernakulam today at 6pm.             I have bought a Dish Washer (SN24D200IN/29) on 30/05/2015. At the time of installation, a problem with the machine was detected - the machine starts, after a while the 'water' indicator switches on (meaning the machine cannot take water), and the machine gets stuck. The installation person ignored it. I could not operate the machine for next 10 days as the recommended detergent was not available in the market. When I operated with a substitute detergent, the problem mentioned above persisted. I made a complaint at the toll free number. The person who attended initially accused that I had used salt in place of detergent, hence the problem. This was a false and irresponsible accusation, and I had to prove I had not done it. Then he found fault with indicator sensor and said it needs replacement. Which he did on 27/06/15. The problem still persisted. The same person attended again and this time said that he needs to report it to senior engineer. After persistent phone calls, a senior person came and he said he found fault with voltage in our building. On the first day (10/07) he claimed the voltage was around 250 and this created problem with censors. He came again on 13/07 and checked the voltage in from of me. It was around 240. He contacted another senior person over the phone who claimed that the voltage had to be below 235 and over 220. Otherwise the appliance needs stabilizer. The attendant engineer recommended connecting stabilizer to the machine. Upon asking "which brand of stabilizer", he refused to commit. His answer was any stabilizer. I asked him to send me a text message or an email saying exactly that, which he refused. Today (14/07) I got a call from company recommending same solution. But this person also refused to send any written message to that effect. Now my problem is: 1. If the machine is so sensitive, why does the company not recommend a stabilizer at the time of buying the machine? 2. Is this diagnosis correct? Because the various persons have found various reasons, which turned out to be all wrong. And also, all other appliances my house have been functioning well without stabilizer for last 14 years. I expect following action: 1. The company should either recommend me a specific brand of stabilizer of provide one and connect it to the machine and allow a test period for running the machine. 2. If the machine still continues to have problems, the company will have to replace the machine. I am appalled at such inefficiency, incompetence and above all, casual and callous attitude of the service staff. Siemens has really disappointed me on this count.

              I have parched Siemens washing machine from Nandilath G Mart Thrissur Kerala on 1 st march 2012. Approximately 20 days back my washing machine was not working and I registered the complaint. After 2 days service person came and checking the machine told its mother board is complaint . It's cost was around 9000/. I told him to repair the same. After a week he came with board but he couldn't repair same since mother board model was wrong. After a week he came with another mother board but could't repair the same telling that motor was burned. I was really shock to hear that within 3 years I have to invest more than 15000/ . I was using IFB before this and it lasted more than 12 years. Now I regret for this wrong choice of buying Siemens . I have recommended your machine to some of my friend and believing me they have bought the same. If something happens to their machine I don't know how to face them.               The siemens washing machine not having life not more than 3 years is shocking . The service person couldn't find out the mistake after 2 visit.
              I have also purchased Siemens Washing Machine (Fully Automatic WM10 Series) in year End of 2014. From past two weeks it is not working. Lodged a complain to the service centre. Service Engineer confirming the failure of PCB and replacement cost would be about 8000/-. No guarantee of mother board and other operation of m/c even after replacement from Siemens. Highly pathetic situation.

                  I hav been using this Siemens front loading from last 12 years but all of a sudden it gave way..on calling the technician I was told that the drum tore nd broke so there is a water leakage nd I wil hav to replace the same.i was informed that the drum cost is approximately 24000 whereby the new washing machine would cost me around 35000. Whereby the other company machines available in the market wil definitely cost me around[protected].. I don't understand why Siemens parts are soooo expensive..I haven't changed the drum yet coz I m still waiting for a call from the company as to what the exact amount its gonna be..plsssssss help

                    I (Ch.Venkata Ramaiah) purchased washing machine of seimens comapany make on[protected] at TMC, Tirupathi by investing Rs.38, 000/-. I asked the shop manager to send technician to install the machine .As I belong to Sullurupeta town in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, he told the service should be done by the Sevicing agency at Nellore and he also told that he informed concerned officials at Nellore agency.But till now no technician has been attended to install the machine inspite of several calls by me to the agency at Nellore and shop manager at tirupaty.I kept it ideal for more than one week even after investing Rs.38, 000/-.

                      We have recently purchased siemens 6 kg fully automatic machine. At the time of installation they installed it properly but they told us we had a earthing problem and did not give us demo. Unfortunatlely we signed the demo papers but demo was not given in real. Later we started the machine but as we had no clue about its working; machine started to give us problem like it stops in between n we have to again off the switch and when we on it; it starts from the first function. When we asked for the free demo a person from Pune center asked us for extra charge. This is horrible service from Siemens India- a german brand. Its pathethic that we have got in contact with this fraud service providers who want to make money only in 15 days. I cant imagine what will be they doing after 2 years warranty. We had IFB machine but we had good experience with them for 8 long years. Siemens India please improve the customer service support. Please resolve this issue asap if possible.                         Bought a Siemens fully automatic washing machine and called for installation on 22nd April, technician mr. R. Selvam who came for installation took rs. 1700 for installation and decalling powder, the de-scaling powder was sold at rs.700 for 250 gms (2 packs), when refused to buy, pointed to be compulsory on installation, which was not guided during purchase of machine from Viveks chennai, Found to be against law to compel to buy non worthy products to complete basic need of installation,

                          My siemens fridge is not working since 18th march 2015. With great difficulty and with continuous phone calls today the technicians came and did a half baked service(Mr. Vijaya Kumar / [protected]) and suggested to operate the fridge from 6pm today. To our surprise, fridge continued to be not working. After frequent phone calls and sms he agreed to come tomorrow(sunday)but failed to turn up today till 3 pm.His line was intially ringing and later switched off.He is trying to be smart and so do the rest of the staff with regard to correcting the problem of the fridge. They do not know the value of the customers and playing around with our problem Already we have suffered a heavy loss and time. If the fridge is not rectified by tomorrow, we would have to go to consumer court for legal help

                          complaint no.[protected]
                          With reference to the above complaint number, we wish to highlight a few things which were unbecoming of an MNC of your stature.

                          1. Our complaint lodged with you on 16.03.2015 for non working of our refrigerator of your brand and after relentless follow up your service personnel was at our doorstep only on 18.03.2015. Till such time there was not even a phone call or mail from you stating the date of service, though it warranted one.

                          2. Your technician after checking up informed us that the fan motor in the refrigerator needs to be replaced for the refrigerator to get back to working condition and he informed us it will be duly done the next day ( 19.03.2015 ).

                          3. Thats it. subsequently, they didnt even bother to call us and say it is likely to be delayed and we didn't hear from them for the next 2 days. Its a big slur on an organisation which talks big on consumer service deliverance, treats its consumers in such a disdainful fashion.. Again after follow ups they turned up on 21.03.2015 and replaced the Motor fan and instructed us to keep the refrigerator closed for the next 2 - 3 hours for the replaced part to deliver optimum results. Then he raised an Invoice no. bearing[protected] dated 21.03.2015 for Rs. 2670.00, collected the cash and made good his escape. I use that word escape because as a consumer we feel cheated because when we opened the refrigerator after the stipulated time we found to our dismay that the fridge was still not working.

                          When we called up to report this the technician Mr. Vijaykumar didn't attend to the calls apparently to avoid the call.

                          4. Finally when they did attend to our call and complaint, after a day your service personnel informs us to our shock that the compressor has gone useless hence needs to be replaced.

                          Can someone give an explanation for this lackadaisical approach on the part of your service personnel. If they are not competent enough to attend to such high end products why are they employed at the first place or should we say if SIEMENS hasnt got enough trained service personel why at the first place should they market such products.

                          WE CONSIDER THIS CASE AS OF CHEATING, AND HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE A LEGAL RECOURSE TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM, UNLESS SOMEONE
                          COMES OUT WITH AN AMICABLE REDRESSAL FROM YOUR SIDE TO THIS ISSUE.

                          If at all you still claim to be a company which values it consumers, then consider you have lost a valuable one and henceforth all we would do is campaign against your products and thus ask prospective ones to desist from buying a siemens product.

                              I am Anto Vinoth, I have purchased Siemens 12K168IN washing machine, in my fathers name Mr.S.Mani on 26/01/15. But still there is no one has came for demo process. We are busy on weekdays, so We have called him to attend on Saturday or Sunday, when ever we call he, he use to say this day lot of schedule has made so not possible or he is telling please adjust for this day. Still now he has not came, Two days back we have called him, he told I cannot come on this week if you want to complain anywhere do it. I have chosen Siemens for Nice product and equally service, but I am not satisfy on Siemens right now. Please tell your service person to attend on tomorrow(21.12.15) else please tell your dealer to take back the product and return my money.                                 To, Shoaib Shaikh, Branch Service Mgr, BSH Household Appliances, Mumbai Dear Shoaib This relates to my Siemens Washing Machine - Model #WM 12E 360IN/01 and is further to my complaint sent to Siemens India on January 15, 2015. What transpired post my complaint clearly indicates just how callously a supposed to be "reputed" company like Siemens takes its loyal customers - I had bought a Siemens washing machine 18+ years ago and, based on my experience, had decided to repose faith in your brand four years back by purchasing the washing machine currently in question but it is a decision that I am beginning to regret. Subsequent to my complaint of January 15, a technician was sent to inspect the washing machine quite obviously without bothering to read/being briefed on our complaint. I had specifically written to Siemens regarding the exorbitant cost of Rs. 6, 900 that I had to pay for replacing a part that should not have had to be replaced in a machine that was barely three years old including visiting charges of Rs. 900. It was something that I had to pay as I was told that my machine would otherwise not work. I had asked Siemens to justify billing me such an exorbitant amount for replacing shock absorbers when the machine only had a blocked drainage problem. In response, a technician was sent to re-check the machine but he only re-confirmed what had been done, There was no response to the subject of my complaint which was why had parts to be changed so early in the life of the machine and, if they had to be, it was obviously because they were faulty or sub-standard, in which case why had I been penalised for a manufacturing glitch. My earlier machine served me well for 14 years which is why I have been led to believe that the parts in the current machine are obviously sub-standard or faulty as the company has had me replace a significant part like shock absorbers in barely three years. In this light, I am sure you will agree that it is grossly unfair and a travesty of justice to penalise me - the customer - for something that is not related to usage and hence, for something which I am not responsible. Instead, the company should graciously accept responsibility for the glitch and rectify it with due regrets at no cost to me i.e. by refunding what I had needlessly been made to pay. I am dismayed that Siemens has chosen to gloss over the subject of my complaint rather than furnishing me with a satisfactory response and setting right a wrong. That is how brand loyalty is sustained and customer faith restored. It is unfortunate that a reputed international brand like yours chooses to ignore these basic precepts of customer service. I look forward to a relevant response to my complaint i.e. why I was billed for faulty/sub-standard parts. Given how Siemens has reacted so far, I am not optimistic but I hope that an opportunity to set things right is not squandered and a loyal customer lost on account of a disdainful approach to resolving customer complaints.                                   We have bought a Siemens Washing Machine in the month of October 6th 2014 Invoice No DJPL/SA/0257/2014.5 through your authorized dealer at Chennai within four months we had to call your Service Call Center[protected] four timers for repair as the water was regularly leaking, your service team said after repair it will not leak again . Now again we are facing the same problem of water leakage, we had a good IFB washing machine for 5 years with no problem after buying your product within two months we had no peace of mind with water leakage regularly happening, we are senior citizens and children abroad with such issue has really put us in lot of trouble . After four time complain your service team now says they are going to send the senior most manager to check what were they doing all this time when we had been repeatedly complaining . We request you to kindly change the machine and give us a new one we don't want to use a new bought machine with such complaints its not value for our investment . Pls let us know what to be done based on your reply we will have to put the issue to the next level, we are totally disappointed on Siemens product with new machine with regular complaints. Dr G Raju

                                    We have front loading fully automatic washing machine We purchased this from one of the leading outlets in Chennai --"VIVEK'S ". We were promised after sale service by Siemens. It was all well until the first reair which after service by Siemens service personnel resulted in requiring change of drum. For this the machine was taken to the service centre by the service personnel and after changing the drum a new problem arised. The drive belt slips and the machine is not running. When myself spoke to the service personnel and asked him why he is not in Siemens uniform, he said that we have got authorisation for service to various products and we cannot use uniforms. But the problem keeps repeating and the service personnel charges Rs. 500 for every visit and i have been paying this for 5 - 6 times in the past 4 months. Model no is E12.36. Please give us your authorised service centre contact details and please check with Viveks whether they have been rendering this service centre for customers.

                                      Dear Sir, This relates to my Siemens washing machine - Model #WM 12E 360IN/01. We have been loyal Siemens white goods customers for the past 16 years but recent events have made us seriously question our loyalty and shaken our faith in the Siemens brand. Being satisfied with the performance and durability of the Siemens machine that we owned and used for almost 14 years, we reposed our faith in your brand once more and purchased a second Siemens washing machine on 13 Sept. 2010. In December 2014, the machine began stopping barely 10 minutes after of putting it on with "F:17" appearing on the panel. I complained and a service technician was sent to resolve the problem. His inspection of the machine clearly suggested that the problem was because of a blockage of the filter. However, to my amazement, he informed us that the shock absorbers of the machine had to be changed as they were worn out and that this would cost an incredible Rs 6, 000. This seemed preposterous for a product from a reputed brand that is barely four years old and claims technological superiority and German engineering! We find it difficult to understand how a new digitalised modern machine with a larger capacity machine (7 kgs) would have weaker shock absorbers than our older machine which was only 5 kgs and whose shock absorbers lasted 14 years! Since we have always only washed home clothes and have been careful to follow all the company's instructions (weight etc), the sole plausible explanation is that Siemens product quality has been compromised and we have been sold an inferior or defective product rather than a more advanced, higher quality product that we had expected. Furthermore, a visit fee of Rs. 800 was levied on us and our request for a waiver of this amount was dismissed by your executive. Finally, we were left without any choice but to shell out Rs. 6, 900 or be stranded with a non-functioning machine which would have left us terribly inconvenienced, The service engineer was - Mr. Xavier D'Souza - mobile no. [protected] In the light of the above, we are sure you will agree that a refund of the exorbitant payment that was extracted from us almost at "gun point", so to speak, is definitely in order and we request you to expedite the same so that some of our faith in the Siemens brand is restored. In the interest of loyal customers, we would also like to request you to reconsider your pricing of spare parts, if indeed Rs. 6, 000 is the actual cost of the absorbers and not an inflated cost to boost profitability. Your will appreciate that this experience has eroded our trust in Siemens but we hope that your prompt action will go a long way towards us believing in it again and looking forward to hearing from you on a priority basis.
