We have given the machine on[protected] .It was promised that the machine will be given back in 30 days. After running behind them and fighting vehemently we got back the machine after 60 days. The machine was very shabby and the machine had parts broken which were alright when it was handed over for service. The machine started malfunctioning and we had to follow them up daily and the machine was taken back and still not returned. We are not able to do our washing at all. Now it is more than three months. This happened in T.Nagar, Chennai.

Siemens is the worst washing machine supplier. They came to fix my machine and replace th gasket and as a result have broken the electric lock and now they are saying it is my problem. need a forum to take this up with a higher authority.I am thinking about taking them to court,
Siemens washing machines are good but the service part is very worst. I do agree. we need to start a forum for this
I PURCHASED SIEMENS WASHING MACHINE MODEL NO WM2020EX, AFTER EXPIRY 1 WEEK OF WARRANTY PERIOD, ITS GOT PROBLEM. STILL I GET NO SOLUTIONS TO MY PROBLEM.LACK OF SERVICE.

    we are having siemens washing machine, siemens dryer, siemens dishwasher and siemens kitchen chimney. the siemens chimney 45650 was bought in may 2002 at chennai spencers super store and it was installed and was working. since there was heavy noise coming and the filters are to be serviced, we have given the chimney to RBS home appliances, bazulla road, t.nagar, chennai, tamil nadu on 02.11.08. they said it will be seriviced and will be delivered in 20 days time. after that whenever i ring the service centre one lady by name revathy will pick up and go on telling that it will be ready in another 3 or 4 days and will be ready. but that 4 days never came till 7.01.2009. when we personally visited the showroom the manager Mr. ramesh was not available and the mobile no the girls gave also was not answered. after frantic redial when i got him on the line he said it will be ready in another 3 days. so many 3 days have gone and it is not delivered till date. it is really saddening to know that when the after sales service is so worse, how can relay on the goodwill of the company and buy products of them. i hope this complaint will be atteneded immediately and also request you that am not charged unduly for the service since i made a complaint to u.

      This is the worst service i faced in my life so for. I have bought the IFB Microwave in october'08, and till date there is no repersentative for instalation and giving demo for the same. I have communicated no of times to IFB care as well as registered a complaint online feedbac service through the IFB portal but no reponse, even every time they making foolish us.

      sorry to say but it was my wrong decision to go with IFB. It is strong complaint to IFB if they can not give the satisfactory service then please do not sell the product also..

        My previous employer submitted my EPF settlement form to the Chennai office on June 30th. Its almost going to be 5 months. Still i have not got the settlement as well as any intimation from the EPF office in Bangalore. I have sent a support question using the contact us form in www.epfindia.nic.in many times. I never got any response from them.

          I have purchased a Siemens washing machine of 700 rpm and a dryer from Kohinoor Priceless in Thane .
          On using the machine I realised that while the dryer was used it showed a lot of soft fluffy material on its filter when I enquired from Mr Krishna the sr technician he said this was the upper layer of the clothes which will go on coming out after every drying cycle.I was completely taken aback, as I had taken the dryer for drying the clothes and not for spoiling the fabric after every use.
          I then informed Mr Bhagwan from Kohinoor he refferd my complaint to Siemens who in turn send Mr Raju Deo a technician who very bluntly said that this is a problem which has no solution, and that I should take it up seriously.
          I again got back to Kohinoor with these details they informed Siemens who send Mr krishna who also confrirmed the removal of the superfine layer of material and yes material would loose its shine and sheen .I had a proper discussion with Mr Snehal who would not admit the problem he said infact it was the first time that someone thought it as a problem which in fact according to him was not a problem and that there was no solution to this and the dryer would work as it was working now .
          On informing Kohinoor about the same they contacted the concerned person in Siemens who visited the showroom and discussed the issue with Mr Bhagwan who on my calling him informed me that Siemens feels that this is a common problem and that nobody has complained till today he also said
          to them that there is always a first time but to him also they said that this problem has no sloution and they could not help the consumer.
          I would like you to take the matter seriously as there are many people who have been facing this problem and do not know how to handle it and there will be many more who will fall in the trap of buying the machine.
          Request an early redressal.

          Every dryer in the world will extract lint (fabric) from clothes. This is the basic principal of drying. Lint collected on the fliter is a natural aspect of all dryers. Hence, delicate clothes should never be loaded in a dryer.

            My name is Subhashini. I am from Chennai, India. Siemens service in India, is the worst one you can ever get.I dint know whom to contact to talk about this.
            I bought my machine WM-A0716 on 18th july 2006. The machine started running slow in july 2008. I called siemens service centre @[protected]. They said they would come and nobody turned up.I waited for a month.During first week of september 08, icalled them back, even then no one came, every week i kept on calling, they would say yes we will send service person, thats all. On 27 sep 08, i talkled to chennai manger Mr.Ramesh and he send me service on that day.The service person diagnosed shaft problem in machine and gave me bill for 3500/-INR. I called Mr.Ramesh and wanted explanantion for the same.He agreed his fault for not having send service person in time nad said he would repair my machine under waarranty. Thereafter no one cme to pick the machine at all. There are on ly 2-3 girls in the call centre.The moment i tell my name the girls seemed to give some irresponsible answer for not picking the machine. On 6th of october, again after so much of complaining, they picked up the machine from home. And now its 3rd of november and i dont know what they re doing with my machine.Till this date no body has called me from siemens regarding it.I call them every week to find the status. The manger said, on fixing the shaft they had leakage nd then misalingment. He agrees its his technician's problem. BUt every time the answer is "machine should be ready by nexrt week".I called Mumbai call centre, they said Mr.Mahesh would call me, he also dint cll me.Chennai office is shiftd and i dont know their new address.The machine costed 24000/-INR(approx). Please give me some authority's contact who would ansmwer me.
            This is not a rare incidence..If you visit http://www.compareindia.com/complaint-box/ there are mnay such complaints on Siemens there. Please raise it to concerned authority. If not stop selling your machine in India.

            Seimens Washing Machine(Front Loading) — Poor after sales service

            I had purchased a Seimens make front loading washing machine around 6 years back. Last year in April 2007 i complaint with the company through my dealer M/S Royal Electronics chembur(Mumbai) informing that the machine is not working.

            The mechanic of the company visited after few days and gave a estimate for the reapir of machine and assured of coming with spare part required but he did not turn up till june 2007 1st week despite my repeated reminders.

            Since i was to go out for my daughters marriage in 2nd week of June 2007, i had no other choice then to call a local mechanic who rectified the machine at a cost of 4000/- .subsequently in the month of Feb 2008 the machine started giving trouble again, this time also the company was contacted who sent their mechanic in Mar 2008 but the company refused to attend on the pretext that the machine was attended by the outsider earlier .
            Somehow on my repeated request company sent his mechanic on[protected] who replaced the door lock at the cost of Rs 1425/-. soon after this repair abnormal sound was reported in the machine and the company was informed on[protected] accordingly.

            The company mechanic came on visited on[protected] and gave an estimate of Rs 7890/- for the replacement of several parts including the panel.The company also informed that the warranty of any part replaced is only for 3 months .

            It may be seen i am being penalised and harrased by the company for getting the machine rectified by a local mechanic although this was because of their non attending of machine for long period .This is causing me inconvenience and mental agony.
            I wish that the company addresses these issues and compensate me for the above suitably.

            Digital Camera model no. D760 — No proper response from our service centre

            I have purchased samsung digital camera model no.D760 on 22.07.08 but I am unable to understand its function, for its demonstration I made a call to ur toll free number where the another number[protected] has been given by saying that you will get on site demo by our service enginear at Ghaziabad as I am residing at Ghaziabad. When I make a call to above given number, the feedback has been given that no onsite demo for digital cameracamcorder and for getting demo, you have to come our Delhi office which is not possible for me. You r requested to kindly arrange to get onsite demo or instruct to your ghaziabad service centre to give onsite/offsite demo. Your proper response will be appreciable to me

            Siemens Washing machine — Support after Purchase

            Bought the washing machine in Bangalore and had to move to Bellary in same state of karnataka 300 odd kms as i had to leave country on work. After using for few months the machine had problems and i contacted bangalore office, they promised me to help and gave me a engineer's name who was close to my place, i contacted him and he promised me to come and see the machine in 3 days as he had to finish some other complaints that were pending. Thsi 3 days never happend, days turned to weeks and months and my poor parents kept calling all number, they were asked to call puna office and when called were kept waiting for couple of hours on STD call when asked how can one keep on hold for so long Siemens Auth., told them that since it was our problem we had to wait.

            After all this i sent them mail as i was scared that my phone bill (since i had to call from UK) will be huge, i got a reply asking me to send mail to anothe email id as this person was on leave.
            I sent mail to this other person, with my story which runs to 2 pages, then guess what i get reply in 1 bloody line saying that my home town is not covered under their support so they will not service my washing machine.

            if this is bloody true why they hell they dont tell us when the sell the machine..

            PLEASE DONT DEPEND ON SERVICE!!!
            is there any way to take these people to court./jail??

            E.India Business Directory — No service after making a payment also

            For the advertisement with e.india yellow pages, we issued the cheque No.000098, dated[protected], Kotak Mahindra Cheque, Coimbatore Branch in favour of Advent Info Soft for Rs.5000/- as an advance.The payment passed on[protected] from our bank After making a payment and more than 6 months there was no response from the company and if we call the local Marketing Executive of the company Mr.Chandrabose also, he will disconnect our phone call, or somebody will pick the call or no response will be there. I sent several mails to the company and there was no reply from them. Recently they told that, give us the payment details and there is no history about your payment. I sent several mails to them, eventhough they replied like this.

            Hence we have unsatisfied with their service and we asked the advance payment to refund back to us. Now also there is no reply after sending several e.mails to them.

            Please advice your friends also kindly don't go with e.india business for your business promotion and you will be cheated if you do so.

            After I mailed Mr.Mahesh, things moved faster and I got my machine in running state on Nov 7. Thanks to Mr.Ramesh from Chennai for his efforts. But this kind of delay really make consumer lose his tempor.
            We are in the same situation. I think Siemens should be ashamed of their products .
            i am also from chennai...i have bought this machine 5 days before.. but still nobody has come for installations itself... when i contacted Vasanth&co they told they have informed the simense to install the machine.. but still nobody has come.. i am planing to give back the machin, since i have not opened the package itself... they gave one number to contact the service person...no 65150599. when i try to contact this number it's always busy...i have tried my best to contact in this number...but no wonder...Please think before buying this product...
            I fully agree with Ms.Subashini, what ever she had told in the mail same things happend to me also.Girls appointed there like revathy... all are excellent when they pick our phone after asking our name they will discount...Siemens why there was no propoer service you should shame of this complaint being a leader in technology...why you are selling the product in India unless you d'not have the proper service back up????????????????? we have no time to follow-up i lost my passion, i d'not know when they give my machine back ???/ its big question ...

            Am also from chennai and i too agree with what Subashini says. Though the product is good, it is of no use to customers when there is no service rendered. The contact numbers which the service people give is o[censored]tter waste. In our busy schedules we are unable to follow up with these people. That too they say that they will come for service only on monday and tuesday but dont turn up. We really get fed up of calling these people. I do not know when wil my machine become alright...
            Well, I agree to the rather bad situation that there is no response from Siemens Service people in Chennai. I need to have my washing machine repaired for about 5 months now and after trying all the numbers I find either the called number is engaged, or nobody picks up the call ! I have spent years living in Germany where Siemens commends great respect from all households and where service is excellent and just a call away. But the opposite seems to be true in India. Unless some top authorities in Siemens in India put in serious efforts to make sure of prompt customer service, I think they will risk losing their image in Indian households.
            Yes I agree to everyone mentioned above. They have started disconnecting the call. I am trying to get my machine rectified for the last 3 months an I am yet get that done. A service mechanic even without checking he said that this machine is imported from turkey and they are unable to provide service to it.

            Numbers are changed frequently and now the numbers are not in use. I am still trying to trace as to how do I get rid of this machine.

            I just went to vasanth & Co yesterday to buy IFB but ended up buying siemens as I have seen great regards for the products in UK. The product will be delivered tomorrow..I dint do any homework on siemens before ordering before..now seeing all the above comments I am worried and wondering if I should stop the shipment and go for IFB...what say guys?

            Your message date is not visible, so maybe I am too late with advice...do not touch any Siemens consumer products, they are unable to service their equipment in India. Repair times go to over three months if a part has to be imported, if available within India, 2-3 weeks is the time line. They service Bosch products as well, so do not buy Bosch. I think they are not able to handle so many products, do not have trained service people, and are too big a company so behave like a government organisation.

            Hi, I am from Hyderabad. I agree that the post-purchase customer care with Siemens washing machine is most-irresponsible..to say the least. I realized that I had spent money on spares, the total cost of which is more than the money that I have spent on the machine (four to five years ago). I am waiting for some exchange offer in the next season..and get rid of the machine at the earliest.
            yes, I am also in the same case, I made complaint on 25/01/2009, But the service engr came to attend on 14/02/09. He replied that Warranty expired on 29/01/09. Service Engrr. send the report to HO, Bombay & Chennai. I am daily called by phone to Chennai but there is no proper response from them.

            That the complaint against the company was true.. because, i also complained the washing machine drum has a lot of dust & waste things.. ihave called the the no.[protected] they said irresponsible answer. nowadays, Some dresses are damaged with heating reflection . so I call the Mr. John through the no.             They told me that the technician will come to my place and repair my Washing Machine.
            From day one onwards I have been following up with your Front Office Executive( Renuka) for the status, but no reply from the other end. After 10 days she says that there is no info regarding it. I spoken to the Manager regarding the delay in the service, but he also behaved in the same and after 10 days he is telling us that the machine has to be sent to the Service Center for the repair. Only just to tell that the machine has to be sent to the service Center they have taken 10 days of mine.

            We have sent our machine for repair on 09.04.09 to your service center. GRN No 25859, machine serial no is FD - [protected], Model No WM20002XL. Till now there is no update. Daily we are call on[protected]Subash) &[protected]Renuka), but they have no minimum courtesy how to communicate with the customers. I really wonder how the employees of SIEMENS are been appointed without having a basic approach of handling a customer.

            Could you please look into this matter and see the problem is resolved as early as possible because I have 4 more machines to be repaired. Please help me with some other vendor who is really prompt in there services and who knows how to deal with a customer.

            Now this creates a bad impact on the company like SIEMENS.

            I am Sivakumar from Coimbatore. I am happy that Mr.Kumar on 12.04.2009 achieved something that all others could not. Getting his Siemens washing machine serviced on the day of complaint itself and also be happy. It is something like winning the final prize in crorepathi quiz from Amithabji. Jaihoo to the only Indian brother for having won the prize of service from Siemens!

            I too have a siemens washing machine WM 2020a that worked good nearly 6.5 years and after a tough bargain with the authorised people I could put the machine to work at a cost of Rs.3000/-.
            Thereafter it worked only 0.25 years properly and the machine now sounds like thunder while spinning.

            Mrs/Ms.Subashini of chennai has rightly observed that the company should stop selling the machine if they dont intend to serve the customer after the sales.

            It is right time that we think about the Indians manufacuring their own good washing machine. Cant we? Why not if Chandraayan and Agni is possible?

            Definitely we need another quit India movement to curtail the attitude of these multinational western companies.

            I have registered a complaint today 21/6/09. Let me see how quickly they respond.
            I work with Germany companies for the past 32 years. By nature they mean always business. Though their products are bulky (not like far Eastern manufacturing) they are reliable and sturdy. Siemens washing machine we have worked for 8 plus years perfectly to its specification, of course, with regular maintenance. And now I am in the same boat as others to get local support.

            So, it is not the product which is bad but the local support. When it comes to Indian copmpanies, unfortunately, they do not work. We always talk of interantional standards in developing infrastructure but we not talk or do on international maintenance.

            It is the local support company RBS Home appliances to be blamed for the situation of lousiest support to Siemens. May be Siemens should know this situation to change the company or put direct office for support. Earlier service agent was very good (Sugan agencies?) but we do not know why Siemens changed for worse.

            I could not find out which Siemens office correct one to be informed of this.

            I believe I am the luckiest person.I have a Siemens Dishj Washer which developed the problem after seven years I bought. I have called the Siemens service people to attend my complaint
            the very next day the technician Mr.Suresh Kumar had come and seen my machine
            and found some parts to be replaced promptly he came on the next day itself
            and made my machine in working condition.I am fully satisfied with the service provided by Siemens.

            Worst experience ever, From now onwards i will never buy a thing from Siemens. These guys dont have sense on how to behave with customer, very very upsetting.
            I have a problem with the Siemens washing machine. I found it apalling that there are no service center numbers listed on the Siemens India website. An email sent through the website gave the following response: "I am forwarding your e-Request to the concerned people. They will get in touch with you soon. Thereafter we request you to correspond with them directly. If you face any problems please do get in touch with us." There was a call from someone from Siemens but no one has come for the service. Through this blog I got the contact numbers and have left a message for them with a hope that someone will respond. Siemens has made it so difficult to get their service for products which are generally expensive and top of the line. I hope they change their approach.
            I Purchased Siemens washing machine in 2007 in Navi Mumbai. It was working well. We in june 2008 moved over to our native place near Mangalore for good. Now when we tried to put the same to use, it started wobbling while drying. Then onwards we have been trying to know if any service centre is there in or around Mangalore. No success so far. Can any one in dakshina kannada or Udupi District guide me for successful repair.I know the product is first rate. we are very much happy. Even if we are not able to get it repaired I would not exchange it for whatever the reason.

            I am fully agree with the complaints naratted above. SIEMENS WASHING MACHINE is good. But its author's service is too bad. I purchased the machine in the year 2005.             I am P.V Ajith from Trivandrum, Kerala.I purchased Seimens washing machine (5.5 kg Model WMA0716-700 rpm) on 04/05/07.Recently I noticed some abnormal sound from the machine while washing.I contacted the local service person.One person came to look into the problem on 13/10/09. He told that the shaft is broken and the entire drum assembly has to be replaced which costs around Rs 7000/. He promised that the item will be replaced within 1 week.After 1 week I called the service center, one girl told that it will take 1 more week.She also told that some discount shall be provided in the bill.After that I contacted the girl several times, everytime she says “one more week”.I am fed up. I bought Seimens with great expectations I had recommended seimens to some of my colleagues also and I regret that now. Now I am very much disappointed that just after 2 yrs of purchase I have to pay this huge amount. I would like to know whether shaft alone can be replaced.Also can you consider this as warranty period service.             I am having extremely bitter experience of having bought Siemens machine. You need to read my earlier email and have a discussion with your service engineer Mr. Joe. Who has been visiting my house and doing some part or the other change every now and then.


            a) I bought the machine based on reference from my friends to go for “ Siemens”. I use this machine once in a week or maybe two times in a week to do my laundry. You can check this if you have service control built in your PCB.
            b) Today I have been told the noise is emanating because of motor bearing failure? Isn’t it ridiculous of having used the machine not over 250/ 300 times ( considering that average usage of once a week…the bearing fails? What happens to the people who have family of say four people or five? Does the bearing fail in a year’s time or even six months time?
            c) The model is question is 7 kg highly reliable front loading “ Siemens machine brought over LG by paying much higher price?
            d) See the email of 6th November about Rs 13 K has been already spent for maintenance of so called reliable “ Siemens machine”
            e) Now today I have been given an estimate of Rs 8 K that makes is 21 K toward maintenance of the machine vide your Job Card book number 5853.
            f) All parts are getting changed every now and then in this machine. People whom I know, having larger family and using machine daily have been using Siemens machine for over 6 years without a single maintenance. Whereas, as a single person, I have service person coming to my home every six month!!

            The conclusion I draw here is this machine is purely a rejected/ defective or copy machine sold to me! Otherwise you cannot justify so many parts change???

            I request you to please replace the machine with the correct machine!!

            a) It has high on brand and image. Build by keeping the price 31% more expensive than LG/ Samsung front loading machine.
            b) Extremely poor on performance and quality.
            c) When compared to Korean LG it is heavier( only steel used is more) but requires enormous amount of repair! LG machine don’t give so much of problem with washing of one person clothes!
            d) It is 31% costlier to purchase a machine ( initial cost) and 44% to maintain it. In sum and substance an LG front loading machine would have been better buy!! So 2 LG machine against 1 Seimens!!
            e) No wonder you are expensive

            Or you are pushing rejected product to Indian Market!!!

            We purchased Siemen's Washing Machine Model A0716 from Vivek's. At the time of sales, there was a great sales pitch - which is understandable as perhaps Siemen's margins to its dealers and retailers would be more than other competitive brands.

            While we dished out a premium as compared to other brands, it is a pity that the product is awful and worse still it is not supported with any after sales service worth mentioning. To top it all, the attitude of people manning the service centre is pathetic. Calls on mobile remain unanswered.

            I hope that top management in Siemens should act positively and get the situation rectified.
            My name is Seema Rao, I called servicing center which is in Nungambakkam Chennai...I had lodged complaints regarding my washing machine complaint #7596, its been 7days since the complaint .As the customer services promises everyday to send their engineer, which has never happened...people in customer services are inefficient and worst. I feel cheated buying Seimens product as their services are poor and worst ...this is the fourth time am facing the same problem since I purchased the washing machine in 2007. I would suggest all the readers never to go for Seimens product ...their promises are big but in reality they are the worlds biggest nightmare.
            It has been more than two months and 100 phone call attempts to get the Siemens Chennai service centre to respond. Manager Mr Ramesh just diverts the calls, and no one picks up the diverted calls. Girls at reception are ineffective, they sent a technician changed shock absorbers. I paid 2300/- and the problem of machine vibration and turning position by itself still continues.

            Am not able to get the service technician to come back since the first repair.

            Siemens service is terrible!
            The Siemens Washing machine service is absolutely bad. Several times we made calls to the service centre in chennai. The result is either they don't pick or the response is not beliveable. All the commitments are fake. No action towards the commitments.

            After several calls we made one service engineer (Mr. Mani) came but no solution. Even today we are calling almost 5-6 time a day for last one week, no response or the commitment on service engineer visit is abosolutely lie.

            I am Jeyalakshmi from coimbatore, Tamilnadu and one of the pittiest customer of Siemens Washing Machine Company.
            We purchased the machine (model Number: WM2020EX) on 1st January 2009 for 22, 000 Rupess.
            After 10 months our board was not working and it was told that it should be replaced. Since our machine is in the warranty period, the service person Mr.Sankar Ganesh came and took that board. and he told within 15 days the board will be replaced.
            But, after 2 and a half months have gone.
            Everytime when I am trying his mobile, either his mobile will be busy or it would be switched off.
            I dont know when the board will be replaced.
            If i know this history of siemens service, I wouldnot have bought and in future also I wont recommend Siemens Washing Machine to my friends and Relatives

Now the machine is not working properly and I contacted the service person he came in December 2009 and informed that shaft of the drum was broken and the same has to be changed.             Siemens Washing Machine — very poor service

            I own a Siemen's washing machine till nov 2006. Till the period of warranty there was no complaint after that i had many problems i constantly book complaint and every time i will be cleared after we get frustrated. It's my humble request don't buy this Siemen's washing machine due to very very poor service.

            I am having a siemen's washing machine bought from vasanth & co on nov 2006. I got problem with my machine exactly after completing my warranty period that's on dec 2008. We paid managed it and then by oct 2009 once again we got problem with water leakage we complained and we use to call every two days and constantly they use to give the same reply tomorrow we will send the persons. I don't know when will this tomorrow come. It was a major fault they told finally and then they changed the drum cross, bearings etc., after 45 days and charged Rs 8000/-. That time they told the reason that the part should be imported and they gave warranty of 6 months. Now after this jan 2010 on 20 th once again we had a problem of over vibration and some sound while rotating, so we complined once again. They told that they will charge Rs.500/- apart from warranty. Now only they told that the service warranty is for one month only and the parts warranty is for six months. This itself is a big cheating.The technician came after two weeks and told that the drumcross should be checked and went off. Till date everyday iam calling the service centre and asking they constantly use to give the same reply tomorrow we will send the persons. I don't know when will this tomorrow come. Everytime when we call they will ask for the entire history and with our every answer they will put the line in hold and give response after 5 mins, so every call will extend upto 20 to 30mins. They will tell that they will call us, but nobody will call.They don't give preference to the complined booking date. They also give irresponsible reply that the technician is on leave. Is the whole service centre works with only one technician? Don't the Siemen's company look into it? It's my very humble request that don't buy Siemen's washing machine. It's very very very poor with service. We buy for Rs.25000/- and everytime when there is a fault we have to more than Rs.5000/-. So please think before when you buy.
            Please do not buy any prroduct that does not give you good service. I have been very unhappy with the way Mr Ramesh has dealt with my Seimens dishwasher. With a service bill of 7200 (and can be more) they want 15 dyas to do the job. Also Mr Ramesh never answers your calls and leaves you wondering whom to call for advice.
            It is a sad state for such a beautiful product which charges top end prices. I would say - stay away from Seimens!! It too costly a chance to take. What are features if there is no service ?

            I was about to buy a Siemens 5.5 kg Washing Machine. I was very much confident about it from experts reviews and experts answers (like compareindia.in). Now I have decided not to buy Siemens washing machines.

            Having read your posts here, I have arrived the following conclusions:

            1. Given the market share of Siemens Washing Machines in India being low, the large number of very annoying posts suggest a very high fault rate.

            2. The service is very poor in all its aspects like 1. Reception of complaints, 2. Adherence of time schedules, 3. Technical competence of service engineers and 4. Non-existence of time bound dispute resolving mechanisms. I am unable to understand why the company has not stocked enough spare-parts even for the machines currently in the market (many has complained time delay in importing spare-parts). It also supports the first conclusion: Is Siemens India overwhelmed by the fault rate so that its spare-parts inventory is emptied rapidly?

            I also bought a siemens washing machine and suffering from same problem indicated.

            My machine is down for the past 3 months and nobody is responding. I approached siemens several times for entering into AMC, but they repeatedly indicated that amc charges still not finalized and they will call me .

            During this period the severe noise observed from machine and the technician came and said drum shaft broken and gave me estimate of Rs 7500.

            Left with no option, i called revathy and said I am ready to pay Rs 7500. But she said that they will not take any advance or money once the shaft reaches them she will call me. Even after 3 months there is no call from her.

            Pls never ever buy any of Siemens products. I bought a Cooking range and after the 5 months the rotator stopped working. Called up siemens and place a complaint in Nov 2009. Once person turned up, he just looked at the range and said the rotator has to be replaced. He didn't even touch it. And I was calling ever week, called Bombay also couple of times, dropped at their office in Chennai then in Mar 2010 a person turned up with rotator but not on this model. Why do they take the model number in the complaint if they don't want to check it at all. And it is March I am still calling and emailing person in Chennai and Mumbai still no news from them.             Siemens Co, please throw attention on your service centers in Chennai, India which is the worst service that we've ever come across.The door of my front load machine broke and we booked complaint a month back in the Anna Nagar branch...but none turned up.then we called up Nungambakam branch and they said they would send a person within a day.We waited for one week and when called they gave a stupid reply saying the door had come but the technician went to Adambakkam instead of Arumbakkam(our place).We waited for another week and then a person came but of no use...He did not bring either the door or any spare part but came with a bill saying it would cost 6, 000 to make it work...
            The most useless service people have been employed in Chennai and this is something which has to be taken care by company, else it might go to any extent.
            I fully agree with all the above peple who had this bad experience with siemens. i too am a victim. I have been calling these service guys for the last two weeks and nobody has turned up still. Keeping my fingers crossed.

            I have contacted many times since December 2009 with coimbatore service engineer, chennai Office and mumbai Office thru mobile and mail. No positive steps till date.
            Response time too long ( many times no response), non availability of spares and poor service
            My name is R. Sampath Kumar. I bought Siemen's washing machine in Jan 2007. My machine model No.A 10165. On the day of instalation I observed a big crack on the lid. They replaced the lid. Then I observed heavy vibration while in use. I brought to the notice of Service centre. No remedy to my observation. After the warranty, I entered into Service contract. For the last 2 years the machine is under AMC vide agreement No03/PWSC/1/2010 and valid upto 09/01/2011.. I brought to the notice of Vibration to the service centre. After several attempts they chnged the shock obsorber. But in vain. The problem remains the same. My wife used to spent several man hours to get connected to the Service centre. After that she will lodge complaint and persue till machanic comes. We have spent several rupees on telephone calls. Recently I lodged complaint on 21 st April 2010. Two times one Mr Suresh came and saw the machine. The issue/problem is yet to be rectified. I want to bring it to the notice Customer Care incharge to get my issue remedied. Booking No. C8070. The service is very poor. We regret our purchase of Siemens machine. Please send some one to rectify the defect. My contact No [protected].

            WHO IS RESPONSIBLE PERSON WILL TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMER ISSUES?
            I had purchased siemens washing machine model WM0716 in May'2007. In September'2009, there is problem in drum assembly and the drum assembly was changed at a huge cost. Again in May'2010, there is problem in drum assembly with a horror sound like running of generator. We could not dare to go near the machine and after listening such type of sound my wife decided to throw this washing machine machine in the dustbin and purchase a semi automatic washing machine. Really, i will never advise any body to go for Siemens washing machine.
            Hi i have a similar problem. It took me 1 month to get them to come and see what is the problem after about 20 phone calls and now it needs a spare part changing and god knows how long it will take to set it right. Working women are put to such hardships it is a crime on thier part to sell a machine if they cant back it up with service. I got this machine from viveks and i have let viveks know about this as well. If i dont get a response within a week, i am going to leave this machine at their doorstep at my cost . To hell with them and thier machine. I will buy a new machine from somebody who is more responsible.

            Vivek and co is party to this as they recommended this machine when i went to buy 2 uears earlier.

            Seimens only interested in sales. I have a similar problem. Seimens has appointed RBS for taking care of the services...a piece of ...irrresponsible guys

            They have very slow service. many times guys comming for the service has no enough knowledge to take care of the complains...

            Since past 2 years there is one or the other complain pending...one solved..creating another ...another solved first comes back...when first is solved a new problem is given birth...Seimens is spoiling its name and people having good image of Seimens are washed away by the so called service after sales...             I'm on my research to buy a washing machine & was almost finalising on siemens. spoke to the sales rep here in bangalore & the retailer (croma). Anyway after reading all these reviews, i've decided to stay away from siemens. The main reason being poor after sales service.

            To my knowledge, siemens washing machines are impoted from turkey. That makes the availability of spare parts difficult & expensive; clubbed with low standard service.

            Many thanks for posting the experiences. I guess I'll go with Samsung or LG. Their product quality may not be at par with so called german engineering, both companies offer the best of after sales service...

            my journey of complaint begins from the time i went to buy an IFB and the sales person in Jayam & Co annanagar convinced me to buy a siemens machine. it was 30th of dec when i ordered and they couldnt keep up the promise to deliver the next day.
            after several shouts & screams they finally delivered on 1st.
            i was promised that their technicians would come to install on the 3rd. today is 10th and still nobody has come to install.
            finally today 10/1/2011, i had to to read the manual and do the installation myself.

            i regret the day i decided to buy this machine.
            the machine asles catalogue says it detects excess foaming, but that feature never works, the machine does generate foam inspite o[censored]sing a washing powder for front loading machine.

            I bought Washing machine WM-2020. I called siemens service centre @ [protected] and [protected]. They have booked the complaint by one lady namely SARANYA by order No.0916 on 9th Nov 2010 and she said the service person would come and nobody turned up.I waited for nearly 70 Days..In the mean time i have contact SARANYA nearly ten times every time she replied highly irritating answer by saying we will send service person, thats all. Till now my problem was not solved.(20.1.2011)

            yet i have to get feel of the service. but my first experience is not good. today i tried to complaint about my washing machine problem to company on the mumbai telephone no given, the answering machine replied we are working on monday to saturday 9 am to 6 pm, also messaging service was not working. this call i have made at 9:50am.

            it is strange that such a reputed company does not have proper system in place.

            The numbers of Siemens service centre Delhi given on the website are wrong. I have been trying since few months. My machine was making a lot of noise when i tried first.             Siemens should be ashamed of their washing machines since they are not at all working properly and coming to repair very frequently.It is a horrible experience. After spending Rs.25, 000/- we had to spend Rs. 6, 500/- or more and it is making horrible noise and vibration even after getting the repair done. We are facing problem with our neighbors for the sound which is more than marble polishing/ cutting machine. They changed the drum two times and bearings two times still the same problem has come but the irresponsible service staff do not turn up. Our latest complaint is 15 days old but nobody turned up.They say that all the technicians have gone to Bombay for training.
            God knows when they come.
            To reach at the complaint no is next to impossible.I regret for choosing Siemens.Such a careless people.
            wonderful!!! i vouch for all these true experiences. I am a very new customer who brought the siemens washing machine on 2nd may ( supposed to be a brand new ) from the famous retailer Vivek Ltd mylapore chennai who had strongly recommended for the same and there started the problem. I had not even used it for a fortnight, it started giving troubles like not washing, spinning etc., , The wonderful technicians came in to only say that there are some insects inside the closed machine, which according to them get into the machine!!! when the power is on, and the water flows inside!!!             I'm Nagendra from Bangalore... thanks a lot for ur reviews. Today i was supposed to purchase siemens WM (Model - wm12e360in). When I talked to Sales guy @ Devi International @ Jayanagar, he strongly recommended and convinced me to go with Siemens (since its German engg). Also, he told it doesn't give any sort of problems for next 20 years!!!...Then I thought of checking the reviews here and found different scenario.

            I saved my money & post purchase tension. thanks a lot. I think it is better to go with Samsung/LG/whirlpool rather than IFB/Siemens.
            i strongly agree with others. servicing is bad! dishwashers, oh my god. i did not get help for a long time. finally it has gone for junk. again being a Siemens fan, committed myself into buying a new dishwaser, refrig.2 nos, oven, microwave also! Nowadays i pray daily none of my machines should not break down. If it does i am doomed!
            I Inderpal Matharu, Called the service center of Siemens washing Machine for repairing our machine Siemens wm 2000, One man named Sana, (Ph no.[protected]), came home and told us, the Motor is not working, replacement motor will cost you Rs. 7000/=.
            We requested him to remove the motor and we will get this repaired, since my cousin has a motor serving business, we will get this repaired. motor winding cost will be around 500/= rupees only. But this man said No and insisted, that it has to be repaired by them only and cooly took Rs. 350/= from my wife without doing any thing and went off. Later we spoke to one Mr. Anil the Service center incharge Ph.[protected], he told us, that he will call me in ten minutes., but never called..
            Does the Company people are meant for cheating the customers, if our work can be done in five hundred rupees, then why should we pay 7000/=
            Secondly, what for the company has charged Rs, 350/=.

            I Inderpal in Bangalore, we got service center of Siemens washing machine, the machanic came, checked and declared, the Motor has gone, new Motor will cost you Rs. 7000, machine to be taken to
            our service center in Yashwanthpur, Bangalore. we requested him to remove the motor, since my cousin has a shop we will get this repaired. But the man insisted, no, only those people can repair that. since I was not home my wife could not decide what to do. the man took Rs. 350/= and gone. after reaching home I contected the service center but again they insisted that machine has to be taken to our service center and it will cost Rs.[protected] . but we were not convienced.

            we just called next door, a small machanic, he came, spent 20 minutes, and machine started running.
            I gave him Rs. 100, he left happily, and told me that every thing was fine, but because of load, the security button was tripped. thats all.

            Of course we are going to report this matter to Police, that atleast other people should not get cheated.
            What is surprising for us, that these people wanted to make fast money by cheating the ignorance customer, by giving wrong information, if we had given then the machine for repair, those people, would have made[protected] without doing any thing.

            I contacted the service center many times, ultimatly one man named Raju promissed me to return my
            Rs. 350/= paid to them.

            I request all the concerned agencies to take appropriate action, that in future such people can not cheat
            the innocent customer. And Siemenes Co. also should take anote of it.

            I am Mr.Haravardhan, facing the same problem with Siemens people. I have Siemens washing machine. its models is SIWAMAT 6123 and it is German made. its door lock was broken in transport. Then I contacted the Siemens service people in Hyderabad Mr.Ramesh on his mobile [protected] some three months ago. after two days of my call Mr.Ramesh has sent two his technicians to my house. they opened the door and took the damaged part(it is door lock as described by them) and told me they will get the part and fix it in three four days. they also charged from me Rs150( Rupees One hundred and fifty) as their visiting charges. after my repeated calls they returned me saying that the part is not available.

            Again after two months or so, I have the same person i.e Mr.Ramesh on the same number for not less than 10 times and explained the problem. every time he (Mr.Ramesh) that he will come and see the machine. but he never turned up. now I have no choice and I dont know whom to contact. please advice me.
            I agree 100%. The service is very poor and they charge exorbitant rates. They offer to take the machine for just 500 to 1000 rupees. Don't buy these company products.
            I wanted to buy a washing machine. Before buying I decided to know about the product. After reading all the comments above, I decided not to buy the Siemens product. Thanks for all the reports.
            Siemens products are known for best in Quality and performance. The customer who wants best product in the market not choose product by seeing the advertisement but the technical feature will choose Siemens. The service response from the compnay has also improved a lot and get the immediate installation across country. I have used this machine for last 7 years and excpet 2 months back, I have never faced any issue with the machine. The quality of wash was excellent and better than my earlier whrilpool top loading machine. I will always recomed Siemens for washing machine.

              I boarded a bus from Huskur gate to E-city (the bus was from Jigani to Majestic)
              I paid the amount for the ticket (3 Rs) but the bus driver returned me 1 Re without ticket, but i asked for the ticket instead. he took the money without giving the ticket, after a lot of argument he gave me the ticket.

                I was not receving the bills on each month, even I personnaly reported several times at the costamer care during the payment of my bill. It is very much required to me, Hence Management of Airtel should send the duplicate bill of August'08 immidiatly with out fail.

                    back. The wheel of the mixie jar was broken. I don't know where

                        The company paid an ex employee 2 months extra sal and trying to recover it after 1 year. What a pitty on such a organisation and shame on their HRs...
                        Did anybody face such experience before for this organisation...?
                        Same here with TCS. They paid salary of year in bulk when leaving the company. Now they are asking to pay back. Can they prosecute the ex employee if the money is not paid back
