i purchased a skoda laura from S7 cars salem tamilnadu in 2011 for past 2 to 3 months i have A/C problem in fact for the parts have not come and making so late i a month 15 t0 10 days the car is been in the garage itself many times due to system problem the service is being late i need a solution for this

    I having Skoda Superb petrol(automatic) 2009 model. i am having EPC light problem since last 1 year.

    Repeatedly after complaining Surat Dealer, they have not abel to solve the matter, Most of the time My car is with them.

    3 times they have to send pick up car. as car was not able to be in moving condition.

    This is real shame of Skoda Auto company. that they have not able to solve the problem from one year and no serious action.

      I hope this would force Skoda India to take a superior action my vehicle.
      I have a skoda superb 1.8 TSi Elegance ATits been more than 25 times my vehicle has been stuck in service centre for two common issues
      1. engine
      2. Gear box
      Besides my again again and writting mails and fighting skoda for the same issue a strict action was taken for change of Engine assembly.
      But the new engine has same problem again and the gear box has a new problem now. Its now been 10 days my vehicle is service centre and due to unavailibilty of part i am handicapped with no car in hand . And surprised that employees there are still promising that part will come in 8 days prior now.
      My car has its mileage only 28200km till yet.
      After paying up 20 lacs i hav still not been able to enjoy any luxuries yet.Even cooperating so many times i am now fed up of this problems now . I just want my money refund dont wana get my car delivered now from skoda any more.

          Sir, It seems my complaints are better heard through this route. I have registered a complaint, against the Skoda Auto India, and Navnit Cars Pvt Ltd. (The company authorized service station for Skoda cars), on 13/5/ 2012. Despite repeated complaints regarding the poor and incomplete services, on skoda auto India, website, the complaints are unheard and unresolved.The people from Navnit Cars Pvt. Ltd, and Skoda Auto India, doesn't seem to bother much, regarding aftersales services. When I drive my car with A.C. on, and the recirculation button on, there is dust and smoke entering into the car. It seems these people have no solution, or they are unwilling to solve this problem. Kindly Help!!!!

            I own a skoda superb i got this car in 2009 from aurangabad from sara auto maharastra, aurangabad. I am not at all satisfied with the service provided to me...
            Here are some few point that to tell you.
            1:- There is a noise in my driver site door when i close it, it makes lot of noise i have given a complain regarding this the the sara auto people they tried it to fix it 2 to 3 times and just told us that its a company fault and it cannot be fixed which is told to us from workshop manger.

            2:- Now every skoda car has Bluetooth feature in it but the problem is that it doesn't work again they told us the same thing that it is company fault.

            3:- Manics dress which the mechanic wears is always dirty as he is a mechanic agreed but why does he have to come and sit in a clean washed car and then dirty it again he should do all the work beforehand and then send the car for washing.

            4:- A major complain which i have is that we call them and ask them if the car is ready when i think the company people have to call and tell us if the car is done or not even after we call the sara auto people they tell us that the car is ready when we go to receive the car its not ready. the work is yet to be done we have to go behind the guys and tell then to do it make them do it. what kind of a service are you people giving us?? are we supposed to help our self ?

            Its a request to you that if people cant take there responsibilities seriously then you should not give such people dealership its shame on SKODA AUTO to have such a service given to the people and i think that each and every dealership should have a inspection at least once a month so that even you come to know what is the condition and what service do we get.I[censored] cannot deliver the customer with happiness when he or she walks out your service station i think you should shut your plant in india and go back..

              Air Conditioner of my car Skoda Laura ( L&K) Stopped working . The car is within warranty.The car was sent to Jai Auto mohan Cooperative, from where it was bought and this was the sequence of events:
              1. Dealer refused to take the car, says it will take 10 days to examine the car. Then I have to leave tthe car at his workshop for 2 days. He will photograph the defective part, send papers to skoda at aurangabad or poona(?). It will take 10-15 days for the sanction to come. Then I should "take time" wait another 10 days and leave the car for 5 days!
              2.There can be nothing more "customer unfriendly" than the above, in terms of process and customer care. A customer who has paid 21 lakhs has to use the car without AC in summers for 45 days .
              3. 'customer care consist of "ill-trained"messangers who just disconnect the phone and ask the customer to speak with 'WORKS MANAGER" .Works Manager Rakesh is a rude man cursing the company that employs him + the horrible quality og Skoda.
              Skoda's web site does not give phone number of any responsible manager, service head nothing. The company
              1 Has a quality problem
              2 Ill trained and rude dealer ship
              3. Pooor customer unfriendly process
              4 No way to understand or adress a customer problem
              Even small appliances companies selling ticket items of Rs 1000 have processes that are so customer friendly.
              Skodas top leadership team needs to reflect and correct this + adress my problem.

                i had paid money to authobahn on 19 april and took delivery of car on 24 april ,that time their sales person Ali told me that you will get registration no in 2 days and took signed letter from me that i am taking delivery on my risk ,after that almost since last 10 days i am calling them regularly and till now i have not got my reg.no.I am really frustrated with skoda,autobhan (prabhadevi) and thal idit ali ,i had e mail complin to c care also but no use ,skoda is patheic company,autobhan had no sense of c care.                   Sir/Madam,

                  I am an owner of SOKDA LAURA Ambiente 1.8 TSI model purchased from JMD Auto India Private Ltd, Navi Mumbai on 15th October 2010.

                  In its sixth month of running the axle of the car broke down mid-traffic causing me severe distress as my car remained at the workshop for over a month while I had to commute via taxis and buses on my own dime. Despite my repeated requests and complaints to the concerned officers at JMD Auto Mumbai and Bangalore, this incident was swept under as a ‘simple fault’ and I received zero compensation whatsoever.

                  So although an extremely critical components on car’s machinery, which is supposed to last a lifetime, turned out faulty in less than 6 months of purchase and while their company’s workshop recognized it as a manufacturing fault, my repeated requests for a replacement were not entertained by the concerned officers at JMD Auto Mumbai and Bangalore. This incident was swept under as a ‘simple fault’ and I received no assistance and zero compensation from them. Ever since I have been dissatisfied with the performance and drive quality of my vehicle and have raised this issue with my dealership.

                  On 28th April 2012, in less than a year since the last incident, this time while driving on a highway the clutch-plate of my vehicle failed causing a near-miss collision with the car behind me. I managed to pull over the car to find smoke coming from under my bonnet, after which I had the car towed back to Skoda authorised dealer i.e. JMD Auto Workshop at Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

                  This is the second major incident in less than two years where the faulty engineering of Skoda car has endangered my safety and caused me severe discomfort. My next scheduled car service is on 04.10.2012 (first service was held on 04.10.2011, Km: 9414) and my previous workshop receipt dated[protected], makes no mention of any fault finding in clutch plate / external wear and tear whatsoever, the only reason for these incidents is the substandard quality of this unit. I was swindled by their executives once but this time I intend to pursue this matter to its rightful end.

                  This faulty vehicle is a hazard for me and my family and not at all roadworthy. I would like to request Skoda Company to provide me with a replacement for the same and compensation for the travelling expenses incurred In the meanwhile.

                  I have also attached a few necessary details below and I can provide the rest if required.

                    The Music player ejects the CD whenever I insert the CD into it. The CD never stay into the Music Player, it always comes out of it. This is happening since last 8-9 months.                     Skoda Car - Yeti — Warranty issue

                    I have purchased a skoda car yeti. Its AC is not working. Lodged complaint on Skoda customer care . Now they want to replace AC compressor. Nobody from Skoda is able to answer

                      We have a New Skoda Laura which met with a small accident a while back.
                      So we sent the car to M/S Shiel Skoda Agra for repair.
                      However after a delayed delivery we realised the A.C. of the car was not working whereas it was in perfect working order
                      before the car was sent. We spoke to the manager of Sheil Skoda workshop and he claimed that the AC was perfectly fine
                      and we should bring the car to the workshop for further inspection. So we took the car to the workshop and it was eventually confirmed
                      that the compressor is faulty and so it needs to be replaced. I was totally baffled by this as it has only been one year since i purchased the car
                      brand new from the same dealer.I wrote an email to Skoda customer care mentioning the whole incident and letting them know that i am afraid
                      that the dealer must have replace the compressor with the faulty one.
                      In turn,Skoda rather than solving the problem simply sends my email to the dealer. And the dealer Sheil Skoda instead of helping out has
                      asked us to take our words back or he will file a defamation case against us.
                      Such is the state of a customer in today's world that rather than customer, these companies are the kings.
                      We are deeply disppointed with Skoda with their utterly poor after sales service.
                      We bought the Skoda car with so much passion and now if this is going to be the case i am not going to buy a Skoda again.
                      In fact, being a car fanatic , alot of my cousins and friends seek my advice as to which car should they buy.
                      After beign immensely saddened by this incident, I had to stop my cousin my cousin from buying a Fabia from the same dealer.
                      I love Skoda cars. But the way my case is being handled ,I do not know what to say. We are being taken for a ride here by the dealer.
                      Please help us!
                      Officials from Skoda Auto are last bothered and so are the employees at the dealership. There should be warning to general public for not buying Skoda cars

                        I have purchased a Skoda Fabia - 1.2 MPI Classic on 27 November 2011 from Arshiya Motors (1251) and just after 15 days of the purchase, a few problems cropped up / existing problems (as listed below) were there in the vehicle and even after visiting numerous times at dealership the problems / question have not been resolved / answered to my satisfaction.

                        1. The Skoda Company is not been able to provide me the fuel tank capacity of this vehicle. The petrol pump dealers claims it to be 52 litres (they claim that this is confirmed to them by Arshiya Motors- Faridabad).

                        2. The is an unusual sound in the car at the bumps / turns / at the time of starting the ignition.

                        3. The is an unusual sound in the car while applying brakes

                        4. The is an unusual sound in the car's driver seat during highway driving.

                        5. At the time of purchasing this vehical the salesperson told me that I can get the front glove box cover installed at the later date but to my surprise there is no such fitment available with the dealer.

                        I have visited the dealership number of times and have even called & written to Skoda Auto India - Customer care also but this also does not get things moving.

                        The WORST part is that I have not received any response / communication on my complaints from Skoda Auto India.

                          Dear sir,
                          I own a Skoda Laura and the number of my car is GJ-5-CP-5056. My car got some problem and suddenly the lights got off and the warning light occurred. On 29th march 2012 I gave my car to Asset auto,shivajinagar,pune. After few days they told me that the e-box is melted due to heat occurred in it. My car is under warranty. Now the issue is that they are refusing to fix this problem under warranty and the reason that they are giving me behind this is because I fitted a woofer in my car. They even checked if this problem occurred due to extra fitment but it is not but still they are refusing to fix it under warranty. When the problem is different than how can they reject my warranty for some another thing when its not the reason behind the problem. I want you to look further on this matter.

                            Avoid buying this Brand (Skoda) if you want to enjoy "Peace of mind". The Company and dealers have real bad attitude. They don't and wont fix things that can make their as well as customers lives better. They first come out pretending to help you and when they can't sort out their own mess they blame each other and hand the bill of their faults to you. The cost of spares is so high, its not worth owning this Headache. A simple horn set costs Rs7000/- whereas you can pick up the best for Rs 2500/- (Hella,Bosch,Roots). I own a Laura L&K 2006 1.9PD -MT and its given me trouble from day 1. I wanted to go in for an Accord but fell for the line "Where quality is an obsession since 1957". Well, that a lot of Bull..... Anybody who wants to hear my Skoda experience plz email me on [protected]@gmail.com, Skoda executives and bosses intvited too. I can teach you how to run your Company better. I wasn't born in 1957 but have achieved better standards than you (Skoda) and things only get better with time, unlike you. Stop selling "Lemons" to us as Avocados.It has never dawned on them that the only reason for them to be around is beacuse of their Customers and their Salaries come from us. Thank God we have alternatives and not like the 80's where Premier and Ambassador ruled the car market.

                              mismatching of ABS part in the globe box or dash board.we have given car 3-4 times for repair in Nawab motors ,Noida but still that noise is generating. i really fed up with the problem. after paying so much of money we face quality problem and wasting time to go to work shop,not good for skoda future.this message is conveyed to no of person who are willing to buy skoda products .if we don't find any permanent solution we will give application in consumer forum.

                                I've booked for a Skoda Rapid 1.6 TDI CR Elegance Model on 14.12.2011 with M/s. Mahavir Auto Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. by paying the booking amount of Rs. 50,000/- vide cheque no. 633087 dated 14.12.11 and receipt no. SS 1537/ 14.12.11. At the time of booking, i was assured of delivery of vehicle by 3 to maximum 4 weeks.

                                On subsequent enquiries, i was told that the delivery would be made on 3rd, 4th week of Jan' 12 and later 1st week of Feb'12 and so on. Even as on date (after a lapse of almost 3 months), M/s. Mahavir Auto Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. are not willing to give any firm date of delivery. When enquired, they have informed that there are no customer redressal system to lodge complaint. Even on date, they are informing prospective customers that the vehicle will be delivered positively within a month of booking and cheating customers. There are no alllotment/ booking no. given to customers at the time of booking and there is no transparency in the allotment. Enquiries made in the market reveal that the vehicles that are allotted to other customers are being are sold on premium by M/s. Mahavir Auto Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. Moreover, M/s. Mahavir Auto Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is a monopoly of Skoda dealers in Hyderabad and exploiting it to derive unethical gains.

                                I request that the needful is done for early delivery of my car and necessary action is taken against Skoda and its dealer erring dealer

                                  i bought a Skoda Laura car last year with a joy of driving a most valued car. but the joy became misery when the car started giving unusual troubles in the past one year. to start with,
                                  1. a car with a price tag of Rs21 Lakhs has a starter motor fault
                                  2. The drive shaft of the same car worns out withing 40 thousand kilometres
                                  3. Ac compressor doesnt work
                                  4. Power windows doesnt work

                                  After consulting the authorized service centre, they are unable to diagnose the problem in one time. the car was taken to the service numerous time to get it solved.
                                  The next big thing, is service reply from the dealer. the dealer doesnt meet any of the service level agreement as promised. the parts are out of stock all the time, which is a big harassment to an individual as it consumes most of the time finding out whats wrong with the vehicle. I hav no idea what exactly has to be done to get things straight with my car as well as with Skoda

                                    Hi,

                                    I owned Skoda Fabia. 6 month before EPC pump was damage therefore I was forced to replace it even though there was no other internal damage which could point to this part demage. I paid 32000 for replacing the pump.
                                    Now after 6 months oil pipe which is connected to stireeing pump was damage and company again forcing me to replace. On top of this, for past 3 weeks my car is waiting for part delivery. I sent 2-3 followup mails also register complaint on Skoda web site but all I received is "Your request is forwared to dealer for concern" and dealer has is just waiting for part from company.

                                    I don't know where to go now and how to get my car repair. Its a painful and most patheic show of customer service by Skoda.

                                      Hello All,

                                      I purchased a Fabia 1.2 diesel in 1st December 2011 and the car seams to have spent more time at the service center than with me. I have driven about 11200 km. Within 2 month i have the following problems:


                                      1) sudden acceleration failure at high speed
                                      2) no warning signal shown on the meter for (oil leakage, high tempreature )
                                      3) a weird engine noise from the engine head
                                      4) the R.P.M does not increase from 3000

                                      I spoke to manager of skoda bhopal and conveys all the problem regarding my car but then also he didn’t comes to any conclusion I was highly depressed that as a customer my complaint and my problems was highly ignored I think this car is sold to us without checking wether its safe for user or not .they just only sell their car for their profit and and not for the customer satisfaction and protection. We are the customer and due to us your car was giving preference or else your brand as well as your car is having no importance …….till now they had not giving any response regarding my problem

                                        Its very sad to write on this forum and complain about the unprofessional attitude of SKODA Group. After becoming a customer of Skoda its a complete terrible time I have faced so far. I have bought my brand new vechile Skoda Rapid registration number MH-12 HN 104 dated 27/12/2011 purchased from Skoda company from the dealear Europa Auto Pun


                                        My car is giving the same problem in spite of servicing being done by the service station. Three times the new Vehicle has stopped abruptly not rendering the services which it is meant for and leave alone the added advantage over other brands which they has been promising of for the customers.


                                        The chronological list of events are listed below


                                        Purchase the vechile on Dec. 27,2011.
                                        After a few days on Jan 11, 2012 faced difficulty in starting the vehicle, had to face mental and physical torture of putting in efforts and time to look in to the problem, get in touch with the service center people go to office by public transport in spite of spending lacs on the the luxury vehicle which cannot even provide the bare minimum requirement of being able to take me to office, forget the luxuries and other additional features for which i have already paid for.
                                        The Vehicle given for service station on Jan 13, 2012 kept by them for two days, during this period I faced the issue of running behind public transport, call center /service center people to understand the issue and get the vehicle in spite of investing such a huge amount .
                                        Vehicle delivered back by the dealer on Jan 14, 2012 , confirming the issue of technical default is addressed properly.
                                        Again on Jan 15, 2012, same issue , given to Call center the technical problem again re-occurred.
                                        Vehicle given for service and same issue notice by the service center again repaired and given back on Jan 17, 2012 with assurance that the fault is rectified.
                                        Again on same issue , given to Call center on Jan 18, 2012, the technical problem again re-occurred.
                                        Again Jan 18, 2012 same issue faced, given to service station and since that day I being without vehicle to face all the difficulties of mental torture and harassment over and above the daily chore of activities for which I had purchased the vehicle, to make my life a bit easy .
                                        Waited for hours together on the above delivery dates, without being attended and addressed at the service station. Complete waste of time and energy.


                                        In spite of the above I have till date not got a proper reply to any of my queries nor has been the mistake done either by the company or dealer being ratified.


                                        The company and dealer seem to be concern only in making false promises and sales of defecting vehicle to the customers and leave them with hardships of chasing them in and out as even the words of providing a courtesy vehicle to overcome a few practical hardships is not lived up to by them.


                                        I lost all the trust on the brand and the after sales services and mechanical and technical expertises which they claim to posses.


                                        I have already paid a heavy price and the only return I get is taxed with my time and mental peace which if I invested in my profession would have helped me in meeting the necessities of life .You would also understand the , mental stress and grievance which it has caused due to such break downs, which adversely work in my professional and personal life wherein continuously the performance pressures to sustain our jobs and a happy life is taking a toil on our health . I am spending money on car rental daily and also paying the EMI + interest for the vehicle I am not using. I have my old parents with me and i need to take care of their medical requirement.


                                        In view of the above, please help me with the further actions and how can I protect my interest. I do not have any faith and trust left with the brand and even if the problem is solved, there is no guarantee that it will not have the same problem again. Will it is going to be addressed promptly ? I doubt. I do not want to go through the same painful process again and again. Kindly advise and help.

                                        Skoda — Faulty vehicle
