I had been to JAI AUTO, A-39, Mohan Co-operative Industrial Estate, Mathura Road on 28th June'11 for my Skoda Octavia/ DL9CG-6739 paid service. Apart from the normal service like Oil, Fuel filter, Air filter, Dust and Pollen filter, Filter element and Brake lining change, I asked for wheel Alignment and Balancing. The Supervisor advised me to get the Throttle Body cleaned and Injector cleaned for better average and pickup to which I said, yes.

It took my car 4 hrs to be serviced from the time it entered there workshop. When the bill of Rs.17200/- (Rs.10000/- for oil & spares and Rs.7200/- for labour) came, I saw the timing mentioned for the total job was 16 hrs 12 min. I looked at the Engine when it was waiting to be washed, it seemed untouched. I told the Supervisor that probably the T. Body & Injector cleaning was not done. He called the Tecnition who said that it is not required to be touched and is cleaned with chemical. When driving back home, I found my car pulling to the left as before and there was no improvement in the Pick-up. In fact, I realized that inspite of charging so much money, no work was done. They just lie their customers.

I complained them on phone and went for re-service on 11th July. There senior understood and asked for alignment and cleaning of T. Body and Injector. This time I was standing in front of my car like local garage as I had lost trust in them. They cleaned the T. body and were supposed to clean the Injector after lunch. As I went out for 5 min they shut down the Engine as if every thing was done. On my query the work Supervisor said that the Injector was cleaned. He was disgusting and ill- mannered. After shouting and complaining back to the Manager, the Injector was cleaned which took 1-1/2hrs.

I am sure that all the customers are cheated there. My doubts that the Oil and parts were actually replaced or not at such a service center is still there. Such cheat Service Centers should be CLOSED.

    Hi All,

    This is n regards to the Skoda Superb I had bought from Millenium Motors (Coimbatore). This is to bring to notice the way I had been treated by your employees on the procedure for me to by the car. I'm buying a car close to 3 Million Rupees and I would want certain things to be in place my way just like anybody. I had used Skoda L&K previously and i had really disliked the way i had been treated when approached for service previously too. I'm really surprised on the manner the customers have been treated by a company as big as Skoda. The customer service shown towards me has almost made me loose my interest to buy a Skoda. I own a group of companies too and i would not serve my customers this way; especially customers who are worth millions of rupees in business. i really want this mail to be taken on a serious note and demand action to be taken on this matter. I would like to bring
    Mr. Adi Narayanan & Mr. Gavaskar to the notice of the Senior Excecutives responsible. Both employees have lacked basic humanity towards customers; not only me my friends who own Skodas too. Kindly revert back as soon as possible with proper actions on the same.

        Its been 7 days since my car is given for service for a problem , which i noticed , till today the dealership MARIKAR MOTORS has not got back to me specificaly on what the problem is . I did also complain to SKODA Head Office with a reminder this morning . Now a unknow person who i have not interacted with till date tells me that the gear box needs to be checked . What surprises me is with all the new gadjets in todays world , technically i do not think you need 7 days to find what the problem is with a machine . I would wait for an reply till this evening after which i will be forced to take course of action for the inconvenince caused ..

        This has been my second time that i have had very very bad experience on the service of SKODA in Cochin .. This is a Note of Caution for all car owners ...

          dear Sir I bought a new skoda fabia diesel This is first service . after 15000 k.m. they gave me very hard time and over charging if is is free i pat 7385.00Rs and wait too much three times trio from Panchkula to chandi garh took a cab pay extra I am a U.S. Citizen it is bad luck i bought Skoda Before I pay repair for Air conditioner it is new car and top model I am very upsit .             I got a Skoda Laura some months back. I am facing problems with my car right after a month and its still persistent. The service centre people are not even bothered to have a look at my car.

            Skoda company slogan should be changed to ""Buy Skoda, Buy Troubles"". No accountability, No consumer reddressal system. No body to listen to your complaints.

            Very poor system of handling customer & customer complaints.The car's fly wheel is worn out. Skoda says you have over driven the vehicle while my car is in warranty.
            They partially attended Ac problem under warranty but Fly wheel is over driven. If you ask for a technical report then the service manager says We have been asked not to show you or give the report of Skoda .It is ridiculous!

              myself ANURAG AGARWAL im owning an skoda laura bought from "TORQUE AUTOMOTIVE" from vadodra they are having the showroom of skoda in ahmedabad when i went for a service i complaint them that the door strip is came out due frequent door opening its comes in betwwen because the strip they have fixed in such manner an not only mine in the showroom all skoda laura for service came having same problem which is company fault because they have made like it an my car is not even completed one year but the are misbehaving with me which is untolerable also i have made complaint their customer care but they are dont concern such thinks...
              kindly make note of it cause that strip cost rs4000/- per strip an if i change it once i have to change every month which is rediculous hence i want to clear these behaviour of company.

                I bought a Skoda Laura from Torque Automotive, Ahmedabad on the last day of March 2011. This is the fourth car I've bought and am utterly dismayed by the state of affairs at Skoda. It seems they are in their own monopolistic world. All those stories of how a customer was at the mercy of Premier or HM during pre-liberalisation days have just come alive. At first, they refused to offer breakup quote for the car price, mentioning ex-showroom to on-road items. Then, when they mentioned about insurance and extended warranty prices, I decided to have insurance done separately. They declined outright to sell the car if we don't buy insurance from them. I complained on Skoda customer care number to which they replied that the dealer has the right to choose how to sell. Since I was forced to buy insurance from them at 2.63 times the price that it was available in open market, I'd asked for Nil depreciation policy in the same premium amount to which they agreed. At the time of delivery of the car, they showed me insurance cover note that was without Nil Dep clause. They charged me additional 19k for adding Nil Dep. I'd got my car financed by SBI who kept asking for original insurance and invoice documents which they submitted to me after 9 phone calls and 6 days. I missed my chosen number from RTO because they forgot to apply at the right time despite my incessant phone calls to them after reading in the newspaper about new series opening. Unfortunately, my office or I have to call them all the time. Not once in last 3 months have they called me to update the status of any activity. Not only that, I tried complaining to Skoda when I was blackmailed for additional 19k (total 92k for an insurance which is available in the market for about 35k), but they just heard the story on the phone without taking any action on it. It's an amazing car and I love every time I use the kickdown mode on the gas pedal. But I wish they had hired humans to be dealers. Not one person at Torque Automotive is concerned about service. If you are driving Japanese vehicles all the time, changing to German technology and Czech lineage is indeed a cultural shift.

                  i have send my skoda laura car regarding some problems to Torque auto Ahmedabad. After keeping it for some 16 / 17 days when I got it back vide invoice No. AHMD 001880 dated 10/06/2011 I have no satisfaction at all.
                  I request any body at company who can give me my amount back and draw away this headech from me.

                    Hi I am Veeral Desai from Surat city, Gujarat state Country India, I was planning to buy two new cars before the month of March2010, for that i visited a lot of leading showrooms including the Volkswagen ,Mercedes and Jaguar too.My Industry was the only industry in Gujarat (ZENITEX) which was awarded for the benchmark and excellence in Quality and Environmental Protection by the honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat MR.Narendra Modiji, we had requested for a special corporate discount from Skoda india as they could have highlighted it as a part of their CSR but unfortunately din't get any positive reciprocation,but we still booked a Skoda Superb Automatic because of a positive feedback with the General Manager Torque Automobile (Surat). Later we got very good Corporate Offers from Mercedes (5 lacs india rupees discounts) but we still finalised the deal for Skoda superb with Torque dealer from Surat .The Second Car we bought was a Chevrolet Cruze LTZ (AT) and we got a very Special corporate discount (Appx 2lac indian rupees) on that car too.

                    The Skoda superb 1.8Tsi, petrol Automatic which we purchased was registered on 2nd April2011, reg no -GJ5-CQ-8277, engine no cdaa184685.vin: TMBBBB3T6BA, CHASSIS NO-300482. The day i got the delivery of the car the car engine stopped twice in Drive mode so i went to the showroom with the complaint.they checked all the required parameters and assured me that now the car is fine, again the same problem repeated and the car was with the dealer on the 10th of may2011. they kept the car for a couple of days and than assured that Everything is fine with it, again the same problem repeated and from 1st june till the 7th the car was with the dealer, after that they said the problem is now forever resolved, unfortunately today on the 13th of june the same thing repeated and the car engine stopped on the flyover.It is really very very Risky as the car stops while in a drive mode the first time it got banged from the vehicle following it, today also it was a very close shave.

                    I was so excited when i chose to buy a Skoda Superb as a premium saloon car but now feel that i did a big blunder by choosing to go for a Skoda as neither i got any special discounts and now i am really in a fixed position as the Automatic car would just stop anytime on the road. I fright when i imagine that happens on the highway crossing. Incase you want to follow up or inquire regarding anything please feel free, i have all the details on paper. I am not at all happy with the car, i will appreciate if you can get me out of the mess and explain why should a new car have so many problems, why should i not get my money back (refund)....

                    SKODA SUPERB PETROL — TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

                    Dear Sir/Madam

                    its matter of great regret that i am writing mail to you directly reason being i am not getting any proper feedback from skorda auto india. I have purchased Superb Petrol in November 2009 and registration number for the same is PB 10 CS 3352 from skorda dealer in india.Krishna Auto Sales. Right from begining there are problems in my car .and so far my car has covered 48000 kms and in these 48000 kms. the gear box has been changed once and now its been one month this car is at skorda dealer Krishna Auto sales for the same kind of problem. Its matter of great regret that in one months time so far they are not able to trace out the fault in the car. i am speechless on the quality of skorda superb. After investing so much money in the car i just got problems n problems nothing else. Now in such state of mind.i have decided to file case in the court of law for the justice to me. But yes i will make it sure if i can spend on car i can spend the money for filling the case for legal action against skorda. Its my humble request either to refund my money or need a replacement of the car . About this car i am not going to use now because i cann't rely on this car much while driving ..it can stop anywhere. I will appreciate if you kindly look into the matter seriously and revert back to me .

                      i purchased a skoda laura A/T from mahaveer moters Hyderabad,from the beginning i had a problem wid the car,i been complaining to the service advisor regarding the problem,the problem is for every 5000km my car is consuming almost 2500ml of engine oil,whenever i send the car wid the complaint they juss top up the car n send it bak to me,its almost dne 40000km but the problem has not been rectified n there is lot of difference in my engine,i left the car at the service station n no is bothered to find out the prob,its been lyin in the garrage since 1month i dint get a single call regarding it,i tried to call mr ashutosh dixit but hes not available to the costumer,wat can b dne in my case,i want to file a case against skoda n mahaveer motors,pls help me in this issue

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        (Car RC book issue and Car Service issue in CHENNAI GURUDEV MOTORS)

                        We have purchased Skoda Fabia (TN22 BR 4477) from GURUDEV MOTORS on 22.12.2010. After numerous follow-ups, we got our RC book papers after 2 months and that too with a wrong address mentioned. When enquiring for the same, we came to know that GURUDEV MOTORS have done like this to get the above number. Later we understood, that the company have done like this for so many vehicles.

                        This is real forgery and against law

                        Now in turn I am following up for my correct addressed RC book since than and I have not got any revert from SKODA team.

                        This is to inform that we have planned to go for a legal case against GURUDEV MOTORS.

                        People we interact with :
                        Mr. Pragadeeshwar
                        Mr. Niranjan

                        Both of your above mentioned staffs dragged us with no solution till now.

                        Apart from the above mentioned point is Car Service

                        We have the following issues in our car, which was not resolved or attended even once from day 1..

                        1. We get 6 KMPL mileages in our petrol car.
                        2. No pickup
                        3. Car sounds like a diesel vehicle.
                        4. Heavy vibration in the car while driving in 1st and 2nd gear.
                        5. Car break is not proper
                        6. Cigar light point is not working
                        7. Radio switching off and on by itself while driving

                        Kindly help us..

                          I bought the Skoda Laura JUN 2008. I had very bad experiences on SKODA Laura HORNs and AC.
                          I replaced Skoda Laura Horns 3 times by under warranty period (2 Years). After Warranty I replaced with Bosch Horns (outside) because they are charging Rs 8400 for Horns. Which is too bad, we are buying Skoda because of the quality of the Product. When we faced any issues after warranty, they are least bother about the existing Customers. I am totally against this kind of attitude.

                          Exactly after 2 years, My A/C effect is gone. I approached Skoda Service center in Bangalore, they are quoted Rs 80,000 for re-placing the A/C Compressor. It is not at all my mistake, its their product defect, but they are charging on Customer's Fund. This is totally unfair. All the A/C Vents Slider are very soft and are broken in few years.

                          They should take the responsibility of replacing the defected spare parts for existing Customers. I hope that even the affected customers might be ready to share some portion of the cost of the Spare parts.

                          You know that I have re-commended Skoda Laura and they bought Skoda Laura in my Office.

                          Against Skoda’s Unethical Conduct

                          Dear Fellow,

                          I have recently had a terrible experience with Skoda which has costed me a lot of money, harassment and still an unreliable Skoda Superb car. Astonishingly, The Skoda Company is hands-in-gloves with its Dealerships & Authorized Workshops, who are given a free-hand to exploit customers and fleece them mercilessly by Skoda itself.

                          I empathize with the similar exploitation inflicted on you by Skoda and hence urge you to not let it just be at the hands of foreign companies, who think of India as a dumping ground and Indian Customers a bunc of weak, uneducated .

                          I am creating a forum of 100 similar sufferers who can together jointly address our issues with Skoda to apt regulatory, media, public and rating agencies till we get a resolution.

                          Await your revert and support to reclaim what is rightfully ours.

                          We had brought a Skoda Laura in 2008 paying about 19 Lakhs...and from the time we got it... the A/C has been continued to give us a hell lot a problem...After running for Just about 20, 000 Kms the A/C completely went off .When the car was on warranty the company did not tell us what the actual problem with the A/C was... they went on saying we will rectify it, its a minor problem and other rubbish answers !! Every time it went for service the A/C had a problem and after the service for some days the A/c would be fine but after that we used to face the same problems again ! n then again goes for service n same repeats!!! ... Now when the A/C just does not work anymore and we started acting tough on them and the warranty is over they are telling us that the Compressor is long gone!! "Hello the BOSSES of SKODA" WE ARE NOT HERE TO PAY FOR THE DEFECTS YOUR COMPANY PRODUCT HAS !! " It is such a problem that after this compressor issue came up our Car is lying in the workshop for more than 2 weeks now and still they are not ready to rectify the problem without paying them Rs. 80, 000 /- .

                          We also spoken to some of our relatives and friends who are having the same issues with the company and we will go to the Consumers court if the problem still prolongs.

                          FYI - SKODA BOSSES - We did not expect a BRAND like SKODA to cheat its customers like this.
                          Friends AC in skoda cars have become a major problem and customers are suffering.
                          I don't know what to do, but suffer without ac after paying so much for brand skoda.. Neither I'm able to get good resale price nor able to address AC issue.

                            WE ARE SURPRISED TO NOTE THE WAY CUSTOMER ARE RESPONDED TO .
                            we have been writing to the MD skoda for past several months , but no response.
                            we have knocked your doors ,no response
                            we fail to understand how the system works .
                            the foreign manufacturers , make us indians fools and we cannot take on them due to lack of know how and the process.
                            our vehicle has been giving trouble ,since purchase with poor cooling system.
                            we are not the only ones facing this problem.
                            the car has been repaired several times but problem still remains.
                            now veh is out of warranty.
                            company wants us to replace major assys like compressor and condensor.
                            we wish to know is the assy life only 2 years approx since time when problem started
                            THE WARRANTY COMPLAINTS not BEING ATTENDED .
                            THE BEHAVIOUR AND DELAYS IN SETTLING CLAIMS.
                            THE COST INVOLVED ,WHICH INDIAN CONSUMERS HAS TO PAY FOR YOUR TRIALS OF NON STANDARD PRODUCTS IN THE INDIAN MARKET.

                            WE SEEK JUSTICE ????


                            CAN U HELP US . we must have some check system how these foreign car manufacturers get away with selling just anything in india .
                            they do not respond .
                            i have written to the MD -21 times and even tried calling his office several times.

                            is this the way india and indians be treated at this point of our progress.

                            CAN U HELP/////??????? as we have earlier written to you but all in vain .

                            Dear Fellow,

                            I have recently had a terrible experience with Skoda which has costed me a lot of money, harassment and still an unreliable Skoda Superb car. Astonishingly, The Skoda Company is hands-in-gloves with its Dealerships & Authorized Workshops, who are given a free-hand to exploit customers and fleece them mercilessly by Skoda itself.

                            I empathize with the similar exploitation inflicted on you by Skoda and hence urge you to not let it just be at the hands of foreign companies, who think of India as a dumping ground and Indian Customers a bunc of weak, uneducated .

                            I am creating a forum of 100 similar sufferers who can together jointly address our issues with Skoda to apt regulatory, media, public and rating agencies till we get a resolution.

                            Await your revert and support to reclaim what is rightfully ours.

                              I BOUGHT NEW SKODA LAURA ON 19TH SEPTEMBER,2009
                              AFTER 2 MONTHS I HAD TO FACE MANY PROBLEMS UP TO TILL NOW. AFTER BUYING NEW CAR 1ST PROBLEM I FACED IS OF AIR-CONDITION COMPLAIN, WHICH WAS SOLVED BEFORE FEW MONTHS OF 2011. I HAD FACED MANY PROBLEMS LIKE AC,HORN(REPLACED 8 TIMES), FULL CLUTCH ASSEMBLY,FLY WHEEL,SPEAKERS,LIGHT,CONDENSER,BATTERY.
                              THESE MUCH PROBLEM I FACED TILL NOW, ALL ISSUES SOLVE NOW BUT NOT WITH PROPER TIME ALL THE TIME I HAVE TO COMPLAIN AGAINST THEM TO HIGHER AUTHORITY.
                              FROM THE VERY FIRST PROBLEM I WAS ASKING FOR REPLACEMENT OF MY CAR, BUT THEY HAD NOT DONE TILL NOW. EVEN I REQUEST THEM TO GRANT ME EXTENDED WARRANTY WHICH THEY ARE PROVIDING TO NEW CAR BUYERS, BUT STILL THAT ALSO THEY ARE NOT READY TO DO THOUGH I M READY TO PAY AMOUNT FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY
                              I HAD SPENT 19LAC INR FOR MY CAR AND STILL THERE ARE SOME PROBLEMS WHICH ARE UNSOLVED AND IN AHMEDABAD TORQUE AUTOMOTIVE IS SERVICE PROVIDER THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING ME PROPER SERVICE JUST BECAUSE I BOUGHT THESE CAR FROM SOME DEALER OF PUNE, THEY DON'T HAVE PROPER TECHNICIAN AS WELL.

                                I, Basavan gouda from sindhanur purchased Skoda fabia in banglore on 23rd dec 2010. On that time by name Darshan sales executive said to give discount worth 5000. After purchase , he said discount amount will reach within 15 days. After sometime he only called me and said that courier was dispached. Darshan cheated me. My no [protected]. Pls don't buy cars in Vinayak cars pvt ltd banglore. They will cheat u like anything.

                                I had purchased a Skoda Fabia from Vinayak Cars, i was told that there will be Free Service on completion of 1 Year / 15000 KMS, when i went to get the vehicle services from Vinayak Cars in KR Puram,
                                I was astonished to note that the Free Service is applicable only if i change the consumables like Engine Oil, Filter etc., my vehicle has run only 3000 KMS,

                                My question is when the vehicle has run so less why should i change all these, and what according to SKODA is free Services. when the customer has to shell out 8-10K for one services.

                                Share this to all SKODA Dealers / Vendors and also if you can connect to SKODA Germany.

                                  my self jagbir sharma from jind(haryana)
                                  i bought a car skoda fabia last year and for my 2nd service i went to delhi named JAI AUTOS
                                  i had some complaints which should be clear and fulfill by them.
                                  but they didnt do that and behave rudly to me.and the complaints which i noted were still there no change and recovery was there.
                                  due to this i lost my whole working 2 days.and still there was no progress in this service.
                                  please take some actions against them.

                                    My Skoda Octavia is corroding and Skoda refuse to repair under corrosion warranty, they are cheats, I would not recomend anyone to buy a Skoda car or any other car from the Volkswagen Group the body panels are terrible for rust.

                                      AC Compressor Defect

                                      This Vehicle is having a serious Manufacture defect in its AC Compressor. If you are lucky and if this problem comes to your notice with in 2 years then the company will replace free of charge else you have to shell out Rs.80,000/- just for the compressor, which is an Exorbitant price the company is charging, which we can get the same model compressor for Rs.25,000/- from outside.

                                      my name is vikas gupta.i have brought anew car skoda fabia from krishna auto sales ludhiana on[protected].when i go to home i realise that engine of my car became off in first and second gear.my home is 50 km away from skoda showroom.i am giving complaints regularly from next day.when i visit skoda workshop on 2nd may 5 pm they cheak my car and unable to fault find and asked to me pls come next day.When i go there on 3rd may morning they keep my car for repair.today is[protected] ,1.05 pm til now they r unable to find the fault.i request to the company manager that i have used this car only 100 KM so plz replace it but they r refusing our request. i am suffering too much emotionally and financially. according to me they give me old car. so plz do something
