We have purchased a skoda fibia car from the agra dealer shiel ventures in 2008 from the first service it came in our notice that the dealer is working with unskilled labour without experiance of skoda cars maintainance. In last service we experianced that they have charged app 3000 rs of labour for for changing of bush and they have charged a huge amount for internal cleaning and done the extreme today when we asked for our car which was sent on 5th march 2010 and on the job card delevary date was 11th of march 2010 on 11th they told us for 13th and when we called today they gave us the time of 13th and when we told them that we will complaint on company sight they called my today itserlf to pickup the car when my driver reached the service workshop at the time of taking delivary the antina of the car was broken and at the time we left the car it was not broken if it has been broken it should have been mentioned in the job card but it was not so. the workshop manager told my driver that you have to take the delivary with the broken antina and when he refused to do so he was sent back by the workshop manager. Kindly look in the matter at earliest it will be very kind of you.

    Dear SKODA Global & India Team,

    Problem Statement: Poor service/Lack of responsibility by Mahavir dealer, Poor performance of SKODA Fabia vehicle.

    Technical Issues in Brief:
    1.FM Auto Channel Changing – Issue exists from 1.5 yrs, promised several times to replace – Never Fixed
    2.A/C not working – Problem occurred twice in 1.5 years – Fixed Twice
    3.Breaks not working properly – Problem occurred twice in 1.5 years – Fixed Twice

    Problems with Dealer: Dealing with service center Mahavir Auto, Hyderabad.

    Lack of responsibility – Never done the work completely and efficiently

    False promises and lack of co-ordination – Every time they promise to replace stereo, later says SKODA don’t have single piece where FM working properly.

    Creates additional problems every time I take vehicle to service center – First time they put scratches on left door black strip near glass. Today they ‘Horn’ is not working.

    Lack of technical expertise – Everyone gives their own reason for every problem, ex: Breaks issue, FM issue

    Recent Issue:

    I have taken my car to service center on Wednesday, 3rd March 2010, for rectifying problems related to A/C (second time in an year), breaks (second time in a year) and FM (problem from the day one…).

    They have rectified A/C issues (not cooling the car at 9am at max fan and min temp) after replacing the A/C filter, not sure why it is damaged/choked so quickly!!!!

    They told they have rectified breaks issue (severe hammering sound when we apply breaks on un-even surfaces)

    They promised me to replace stereo last week when I met Farooq (The Mahavir Service head) personally, but today their technician says that entire SKODA doesn’t have stereo where there is no FM issue, so they can’t replace with new one.

    Instead of resolving the existing issues, they have added new problem that HORN is not working. It was working properly when I handed over the car for them for the above issues. I have reported this problem immediately after receiving the vehicle (in front of driver who brought vehicle), the response I got from them is “HORN” is not under warranty, so they can’t do anything.

    It doesn’t matter to me whether HORN in under warranty or not, because when I handed over the vehicle to them it was working properly, but when they returned it was not working.

    I have had an argument with their service manager to convince him to do the needful. They ask me to bring the vehicle again to their shop for their mistakes, else I had to pay for them (for pick up n drop). I was not ready to pay the bill till they clear the issue related to HORN, but the service manager says we don’t need your money and we don’t fix your issue. We don’t want to send any technician. It looks like they are doing some charity work for me.

    In the past I had exchanged more than 15 mails (attached many of them) so far on FM stereo issues, every time their Service Head makes some false promises; once I take vehicle to them they never do what they have promised.

    In the end, I seriously regret for buying SKODA Fabia, not only money which I lost, but also the trust on global brand and had to face sever harassment from dealer in Andhra Pradesh, India.

    Hope either things will improve in future.

      Hi Sudhir,

      Neither i have received firm delivery date nor a convincing reply mail from either of the recipients,

      Could you answer couple of questions?

      1. What is the root cause for the break down?
      2. What is the guarantee that my vehicle will not break down once again?
      3. What steps are you going to take to rebuild the customer confidence?
      4. How can such break down occur when the odo meter shows 22000 kms?
      5. How to ensure that the replaced spares are of genuine skoda parts? What is the guarantee or warranty for the parts replaced?
      6. Could you provide us the Parent company's escalation matrix (e-mail addresses and contact nos.)?

      I have already undergone the mental agony for past 8 days without my vehilce,
      1. I was unable to reach office on time
      2. I was unable to attend the client requests on time
      3. I was unable to attend Business meetings
      4. I was unable to take important business decisions on time
      5. I was unable to take my family for weekly outings
      6. I was unable to attend family functions / party
      7. I was unable to meet my very close and Business friends

      How are you going to compensate?
      1. Either by providing a pick up, drop service
      2. Or by providing a courtesy car
      3. Or by reimbursing the amount spent for hiring taxi i.e (1400 X no. of days till delivery date)
      4. Or by refunding in full (recommended)

      Note:
      I did not visit any of the below blogs before making a decision to go for SKODA because it was my passion to own a SKODA product. Now i am frustrated to the core.

          CAR DETAILS : MODEL : SUPERB ELEGANCE 1.8 TSI

          WE PAID FULL ADVANCE IN DECEMBER AND GOT THE DELIVERY AFTER ONE MONTH ON 29TH JAN 10, TODAY FIRST DAY WE TOOK THE CAR AND AC WAS NOT WORKING.WE CALLED UP DEALER SINCE MORNING MANY TIMES , HIS TECHNICIAN CAME AND CHECKED AND SAID THE CAR NEEDS TO BE CHECKED ON COMPUTER AND HENCE SENT TO THEIR GARAGE AT ANDHERI.

          DO YOU SUPPLY SUCH DIFFECTIVE CAR AND WITHOUT PROPER QUALITY CHECKS ??

          No feed back , no information.you have both our money and car.Kindly Refund our total money paid with interest or replace the car at the earliest.

          PLEASE REPLACE THE CAR OR REFUND THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID..

          Dealing with these people I clearly see that there is no after sales service provided by SKODA INDIA and they are just making a fool/mockery of the customer

          Please see the corrupt practices going on at Å koda Auto India Pvt. Ltd. They are not willing to come on record and say anything.

          yes aircon is defective and these guys have a solution I was offered.

          close the 3 centre vents and cooling will increase 300%..

          any takers, what anbout the passengers sitting in front???

            I bought the skoda fabia from a honda garage in barnsley it was a 53 plate tdi, after the six month waranty had expired thats when the problems started.
            1) crankshaft sensor needs replacing
            2) camshaft sensor needs replacing
            3) base of engine needs replacing
            this was due to someone putting the belt on incorrectly ive been in touch with both skoda and honda to help me pay for the work done on the car but both said they wouldnt pay anything the total so far £5,000 which is disgusting

              Here with we enclosed the mail copy to skoda auto india about our problem in the vechile TN39 AR 2224

              We wolul like to you inform you we purchased our vehicle dtd[protected] we agree our warranty period is completed now but in your mail you are saying the warranty is crossed more than 11 months but you rcvd wrong information from your deler ship so pls check. at the time of service dtd[protected]kms)we informed there is A/C problem but we found the same problem after the service. again we sent the vechile to dealer for particular A/C problem dtd[protected] at that time they corrected the A/c cooling but they informed there are some problem in A/C recirculation switch at that time they don't have stock that will be repalce in next service.after that we give the vehicle for service dtd[protected] kms.at that time the delaer informed to your warranty department and the process gone up to[protected] by the time we rcvd call from your dealer and they told wartanty period is completed and we have to repalce the spare chargable basis. Pls check and give us your confirmation your dealer to change spare in warranty basis and you know very well all Laura Vechicle having lot of problem in A/C so you must replace the A/C switch.wothout chargable.

              This is in continuation to your below said mail. We would like to apprise you that concern of AC in your vehicle is due to AC switch. Damage to the switch can be attributed due to mishandling and cannot be covered under warranty. Kindly be informed that your vehicle is out of warranty period by more than 8 months. Moreover, we understand that dealership had raised warranty claim and same has been rejected.

              In line with our warranty policy, we will not be able to assist you any further in this regards. Kindly coordinate with our dealership for getting the part replaced on chargeable basis.

                This is in reference with my new Skoda - Laura Elegance.
                I had purchased a new Skoda Laura from JMD- Auto, New Mumbai on 18th December 2009.

                Within ten days of purchase I faced a problem with my car ( I was not able to remove the ignition key of my car)
                I immediately informed this problem to the Sales & service Managers of JMD Auto.

                I was asked to drop my car at JMD- auto service centre Kandivali ( As there was no pick-up available)
                As the service staff of JMD- Auto Kandivali were not able to solve the problem, I was asked to drop my car at JMD- auto service centre New - Mumbai.
                The Service Manager of JMD- Auto Mr Sanjay reverted me that this problem cannot be solved as they have run out of spare parts. I was told to take back my car and return in 15-20 days to change/ repair the part.

                I have already incurred a expense of driving down the car all the way from my home to Various JMD- auto service centre ( aprox 200 Kms from my home).I had also taken a leave of nearly 8-10 days from my work. I am not able to take my car anywhere as I cannot remove keys from the car ignition panel. I have also incurred a loss in my business as I am not able to reach my workplace in time.

                  Dear Sir,
                  SUB: Breakdown of our new Laura L&k Automatic since two and half month and continuous harassment from dealer Side.(Car No. OR 16-D 4101) Car Km Reading:- 4800 km
                  I, Shyam Sundar Agrawal, Managing Director of the company, M. R. Engineers (P) Ltd. I have purchased a new car model no. 2.0 TDI LAURA F/L L&K – AT on dt. 31/08/2009 from Mahavir Auto Diagnostics Pvt. Limited, Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. Complained on above Helpline Nos. but no response from your side. Before the contract the company officials assured me to arrange Registration No. 1 from any part of Orissa against Rs. 15000.00 apart from the registration amount. While my Car was running on road for 2 months without the cars registration, then I spoke to Mr. Pashu ([protected]), MD of Mahavir Auto about this, even then he dint take any action Mr. Pashu says “its none of our business” and GM says “it will take 6 months more”. Then I had to make my own registration from my place giving fine of Rs. 20,000/-.
                  After 15 days have passed, I again wrote a letter writing that I have a problem with delay in start of AC which used to take 10 min. to start, low mileage which was 9 km/litre and then paint defect. First of all they made me wait for one week saying there will be company camp coming and will rectify your problem and extending that to one month saying me every time one week more and one week more. Finally driver (driver No. +91- [protected]) of skoda company was sent who knows nothing and tells me that you have to take this car to the showroom which is 500 km from my place. Then finally company sends a letter writing that we have sent our technician to your place but unfortunately the concern persists on Dt. Oct 20th, so you have to get your car to the workshop. It wasn’t possible as we had just one car at our place unless they could provide an alternative car which they couldn’t.
                  On 8th November, I went for a tour to Angul which is 300 km far from my place, Rajgangpur. I was riding the Car and car speed was 40 Km/hr and suddenly makes a warning sound and steering gets locked. After that it shows ESP Failure, Brake Oil failure and steering sensor failure. When I



                  complained this to Skoda service person Mr. Ali and GM, they asked to get the car to the showroom which was impossible. Then they finally sends a person that same driver to sort out my problem. He came and took my car telling me that we will sort out this problem soon and in fact we have lost a contract of Rs. 30 million due to absence in the meeting. Finally I was back home. After One Week when I asked Service person, he tells me that the car’s steering torque sensor is already been dispatched from their head office on 17th Nov,09 and soon they will complete the work and after completion of work with the warranty approval of Skoda Auto India they will release the Car. When my Car was delivered to me on 6th December and i was taking a test drive with the driver sent by Skoda company, the car had following problems:-
                  1) ESP FAILURE
                  2) ABS Failure
                  3) TYRE Pressure Failure
                  4) Pick up totally came down.
                  5) Light Sensing Fault
                  6) Software Problems
                  7) AC Problem Still Persist
                  Again when I complained this to BDM, Mr. B. N. Pattnayak, he tells me that problem will be solved within 15-20 Days .Then finally the technician comes after one month on 5th jan, 2010 and takes my car. Now my Car is at showroom till date and they will be delivering my car by the end of this month. Your Company always speak for your service, now where is your Service.
                  So , this was the last option to write this letter to you as we have lost all our hopes and kindly please go through all my problems. Now we are going for consumer case and to the press writing we are been cheated as we have all the written documents. According to our belief now, we can’t take this car anywhere because you or your company are not the guarantor for my life. Either you give a replacement for this defective car or change our car to some other model or best option you can return our money.

                  similar things happened with me.
                  the company has a very callous attitude, right from the dealers to the top management. they are just doing lip service and nothing more.

                  my car's problem started with 'turbo' failure - a part which costed around Rs 1 lakh and to my surprise was not covered under the warranty. the problem erupted just days after my car returned from a regular service from a skoda dealership in okhla. wid tym it went to have many failures including 'BRAKE FAILURE' to which the dealership and the company alike had a very casual attitude. it also required engine oil almost every fortnight.

                  u may hv similar 'turbo' failure. get it checked.

                    I bought my Skoda Fabia from Continental auto at Okhla (Skoda Dealers)on march 2008.
                    sir my car engine got seized when i was travelling to punjab for some wedding occasion.
                    my new car skoda fabia which is only 50000 old and regular service is being mantained from the service station from where i bought the car with all service record , this really shame on skoda that this kind of things are happening with such good firm. my car is standing for past 17 days at skoda in okhla but still there is no progress done which is pitty on the skoda part. please see to it so can some justise can be done.

                      First of all it is not fair at your end regarding the non reply even after sending 3 remainder mails.Also we informed to customer care for this matter (ticket no.12L 102509).But there is no response for this too from ur end.
                      We received mail from ur dealer(MILLENIUM MOTORS) that our warranty period is lapsed & we have to change the A/C switch on our cost.But it is not the same case if you refer our below mentioned 3 points.Your dealer is just answering for points 1 & 3 and skipping the point 2.

                      Also pls.note your dealer is hiding for point-2 which clearly states that your dealer is known the fact of A/C switch problem will be replaced in next service.But now your dealer is changing the words.Hence we came to you considering you are the manufacturer & expected a proper solution.Now we are disturbed on your non response.

                      In short we informed this A/C problem on 19/03/2009 (before warranty is lapsed) but your dealer didn't find out the precise A/C problem.But your dealer found out the precise A/C problem on 01/07/2009(on that time the warranty period is lapsed) which is not at all our fault.
                      However we insist you that there is problem in your product especially for A/C complaints of SKODA LAURA(refer the SKODA LAURA COMPLAINTS in the website) then you will understand your product standard.

                      Whether warranty is over or not it is your duty to replace for a substandard part if you are a goodwill businessman(SKODA AUTO INDIA).

                      I have paid full money for Bajaj Avenger thru cheque to Rahul motors C/O Mr. ramshankar, Address Sambhaji Nagar, Near Hanuman Mandir, Akurli Road, Kandivali East, Akurli Road Mumbai, Maharashtra 400101, India
                      Contact:[protected] on 13th february 2010. He promised me to deliver the bike within 7 days. Today it has been 47 days and I have not received by bike yet. He is making excuses. Now he does not even pick up my calls and if I goto his center; he does not meet me. I want to lodge a complaint against him for cheating. can you please help what should be done in this case? I am stuck badly. daily he is postponing the delivery by giving excuses. I want my money back from him. I do not want to deal with him any more. Should I lodge a complaint in Police for Cheating?

                      Hi Jay did they cover your problem under warranty.
                      I am having a hard time getting my car fixed at arshia motors, faridabad.
                      Nobody at skoda cares about what one is going through. and yes One would expect premium service from a manufacturer selling a premium car for about 18 lacs which is not so.
                      I am very dissatisfied and may be sell the car after they repair it. It has caused lots of nuisance and business loss already.
                      I fully agree about the ''carelessness'' of Skoda's ''customer care'' department. I had some problem with my Skoda Octavia about two weeks back : during the rains, there has been heavy water intrusion inside the car. I had sent the car to Skoda workshop and they said there is one pipe which is choked up and which needs to be cleaned. But because of water intrusion, it caused a lot of humidity, fungus and the intererior of the car had started stinking. I requested the workshop people to find out the real cause behind this water intrusion. Choke up may be there, but how did it happen at all in a car like SKODA? The car has a proper shade at home and office and we are using it only from our Santacruz home to office in Nariman Point. We have never driven in flooded areas. It was therefore unusual to find the car in such a condition. The workshop people could not reply properly. I had to contact Skoda customer care service and they only replied that the car is not under warranty. I contacted them again and requested them to depute their engineer/technician to find out the real reasons because it is impossible for us to understand how the whole thing may have happened unless some serious manufacturing defects are there. I have received no reply. I have sent at least 4 to 5 reminders to customer care with not a single reply. Yesterday, I sent a fax to their office at Aurangabad and also a fax to their Tchekoslovakia office. I have to see if anybody comes forward with a reply. Can we call this total carelessness from Skoda's ''customer care'' service centre???

                        Last month I took my Skoda Ocatvia for service at the "apparently" authorised Scoda Service Centre at Sakinaka known as Autograph Cars. They charged me a lot of money and damaged the following in my car. I have to get this repaired now by a local mechanic.

                        1) Clutch plates were completely damaged. It seems they have replaced the one I had with a worn out one. I had actually replaced the clutch plates 6 months ago.

                        2) The radio was not in working condition after they finished the servicing

                        3) The cabliing for the auto door locking system were fixed with "used" cables.

                        The staff members were not helpful at all and were arguing with me about just anything.
                        I hope some action will be taken.

                          Dear Sir,

                          Kindly refer to your letter dt. 22.12.2009 asking us to take delivery of the above mentioned car after repairs.

                          In this connection, we would like to recapitulate the following sequence of events in respect of the above mentioned car:-

                          SKODA LAURA Car Engine No.BXE203939 and chasis No. TMBBSH1Z58A155082 was purchased from your dealership at Ludhiana on 26.03.2009. Later on the car was registered as PB 10CP-7296.

                          The above mentioned car when driven above 80 to 90 km/hr came to sudden halt number of times which was dangerous for the safety of car as well as the occupants of the car.

                          We sent the car to your workshop for repairs, it was claimed by your workshop that the car has been duly repaired. We collected the car from your workshop but the problem instead of solving further deteriorated & sudden halt of car accurred even at 60 to 70 km/hr. Three such incidences occurred & it was a miracle that no one got injured.

                          Above has been brought to your notice & even to the notice of Mr. Passi. We are enclosing copy of our e-mail at 03.12.2009 but no serious action has been taken by your company to replace the defective car. After making an investment of Rs. 16.25 lacs our lives have been endangered by SKODA Company by delivering us a defective car. Even after repairs by your workshop the basic problem still persists. As such, we are not prepared to collect the defective car. Please replace the car immediately.


                          You are tarnishing the reputed world known name of SKODA. Please do not delay the matter & replace the defective car immediately.

                          You are right i had a very bad experience too, , , , and the all the staff members and even the Manager Pradeep sharma says that the owner Mr Sumit and his father Vijay passi are very bad employers nad always use abusive language.
                          They say the old General Manager Mr Aditya Rudra was badly abused by the owners...and so he left...if the dealers abuse their good employees how can you expect good service.

                          Skoda — No registration no

                          A friendly advice to all my near and dear ones!!!! Think a thousand times before buying a skoda product. Bought myself a skoda superp after making a full cash down payment 3 and a half months ago from ARSHIA MOTORS. Till date have not received any sort of documentation e.g. invoice, receipt, skoda shield documentation. To top it all, i have not even recieved my PERMENANT REGISTRATION NUMBER. I have written an email to their main skoda head office and and given 3 reminders too. I have also written to some GM sales.....and u know what people.....have not even recieved one email/call from anyone till date. Pathetic after sales service. Have not taken out my car from my home since 2 and a half months as my temporary number has expired. Never seen a more deplorable state of affairs.

                          Dear Fellow,

                          I have recently had a terrible experience with Skoda which has costed me a lot of money, harassment and still an unreliable Skoda Superb car. Astonishingly, The Skoda Company is hands-in-gloves with its Dealerships & Authorized Workshops, who are given a free-hand to exploit customers and fleece them mercilessly by Skoda itself.

                          I empathize with the similar exploitation inflicted on you by Skoda and hence urge you to not let it just be at the hands of foreign companies, who think of India as a dumping ground and Indian Customers a bunc of weak, uneducated .

                          I am creating a forum of 100 similar sufferers who can together jointly address our issues with Skoda to apt regulatory, media, public and rating agencies till we get a resolution.

                          Await your revert and support to reclaim what is rightfully ours.

                            I had purchased a new Skoda Superb and have been facing issues with it since the day purchased.

                            Service Dealer: Skoda - Continental Auto Services-Mathura Road – New Delhi 110044

                            The Vehicle handed over to us without PDI and engine was very noisy (Bought from Arshia Motors), finally they gave us another piece instead of what they gave us because of this almost after 10-15 days.

                            Since then twice the horn got replaced by (Arshia Motors & Giriraj Motors) but still creating problem, which I am very much shocked in two month two twice the horn got replaced and still not working. Arshia Motors says they don’t have horn in stock and we are not getting it from Skoda Auto as well. This problem happened since the 25 day of purchase. I am regularly in touch with Mr. Rohit (Service Adviser). (The world Famous Company SKODA AUTO). Presently it’s under warranty till its ok, but what after warranty?

                            Presently the biggest hassle at the moment is the smoke that it gives. A SUPERIOR CAR GIVING SMOKE is a surprise the Continental Auto Services employees have no answer instead they call me regularly to have some test’s done on my brand new car. Why these tests can’t be done at the first place before the launch of the car.

                            They have done a complete diagnosis and analysis of the concern but there is no fix to the issue and instead now they say they have to dismantle the head assembly. What a solution they want to open the engine of a luxury car in less than 6 months.

                            Dealing with these people I clearly see that there is no after sales service provided by SKODA INDIA and they are just making a fool/mockery of the customer. I have been asked numerous times to leave the car for tests and have done so without any positive results. They on keeping my car do not give a replacement for it which is again a pain.

                            Please see the corrupt practices going on at Å koda Auto India Pvt. Ltd. They are not willing to come on record and say anything.

                            Help me friends to get justice from Å koda Auto India Pvt. Ltd either a replacement or refund. Å koda Auto India Pvt. Ltd is not interested to answer most of my queries even though this is their top of the line 7* rated product

                              Hi, I am an unfortunate customer of a SKODA vehicle. Three months back I have taken a Skoda Fabia (AP 11 AG 6458). Mistakenly, I lost the Vehicle Manual (Including Sevice schedule and Stereo manual). Immediately I have contacted M/s Mahaveer Auto who is authorized dealer here in Hyderabad. They have assured me of arranging another one, but even after 2 months, they could not arrange the Manual.

                              Since I lost the manual at very beginning, I could not understand certain functions of the vehicle. The power windows work differently. Some times, they go up and down automatically with one click, and some times we have to press and hold the button. The ‘Stereo’ has become a big joke in my life. It automatically changes FM Stations after playing few seconds. I could not save the stations, and my children are very much dissatisfied with it. Still I do not understand some buttons on the dash board.

                              On Nov, 2nd, they called me to attend a ‘Grahak Labh Programme’ (I would like to rename it as ‘Grahak Nuksan Programme). There I requested each and every one (Dealer) for arranging a Manual for the vehicle. They assured me that Manual is treated as a spare part and I have to purchase it. I said I am ready to purchase it. But no body could arrange a copy of the Manual so far. I have made umpteen numbers of calls, and each time they say, they will get it and they call me back. I have tried calling Mr. Hari, who is service in-charge, but he never picks up his phone. If at all somebody picks up his phone, they say, they will pass on this information to Mr. Hari, who never called me back. I might have called him more than 100 times, and only Once I could talk to him, (apart from the request I made on Nov, 2nd) and a couple of times, others spoke on his behalf. Likewise, I have called Mr. Ravikant, who is a Sales Executive. Before purchase, he used to call me frequently. Once I took the vehicle, he stopped calling me. I have requested him many times regarding the lost Manual. Every time he says, he will speak to Mr. Hari, and will get back to me. But he never got back to me. Instead I called him many times. Once Mr. Ravikant assured me to arrange a Manual from the Demo vehicle, but he could not fulfill this also.

                              Few days back, Ms. Geetha from Skoda Call Centre, Bangalore called me for normal enquiry. I expressed all my dissatisfaction towards the dealership here. She assured me of arranging a copy within 3 working days. Unfortunately, even after 7 working days, she could not arrange one. At that time, I advised her not to assure me, because, I know how irresponsible, the Skoda people here, and they will not hear her request also. But she made an assurance, but she could fulfill it. Before purchasing, one my friends, has also advised me of ‘Poor servicing facilities’, but I did not consider him. Now I am feeling sorry for that.

                              My point is not on getting a copy of the manual. My point is the attention they are paying on this issue from a customer. Today, it is a small issue and the vehicle is moving. Tomorrow, if I come across a big issue, and my vehicle is stopped, what I have to do? On 2nd November, in the Grahak Labh Programme, they have assured of ‘Good Servicing Facilities’. Do they consider this is the Good service they offer? Therefore, Friends, before going for a SKODA, make sure, the service personnel are easily accessible or not. Good Luck.

                                This is srinivas from Andhra pradesh and I own Skoda Octavia. I am here to tell you that skoda showroom and servicecentre of Vijayawada is so terrible that they took 3 long weeks and they have still done nothing and they are worst at responding the calls even . They dont have even proper technicians and proper staff to respond in a fair manner. Even if we make a call to the showroom or service centre they just play games by saying the work is finished and when we go there they ask to come tomorrow.This same thing happened thrice and we travelled 80 kms each time to go to the service centre. They dont even know what's the problem is? this is how it goes there. The worst ever customer support as far as i was concerned. Its better to close the showroom in Vijayawada or they should hand it to somebody else who is good at it. I dont know how these people get license to maintain such showrooms and service centres. Many skoda owners are getting their vehicle serviced done from outside which is a big shame for Skoda itself.

                                Somebody from Skoda India should take the responsibility and should find a solution for this terrible situation, otherwise Skoda would worth less than a Maruti.

                                Hope you people respond quickly, i[censored] follow the same way as this people then its better for you to close Skoda company in India.

                                  I purchase new skoda superb in august till purchase date car giving lots of problem.In 4 months car goes approxmately 20 times to dealer for same problem but still they are zero They do lots of experiment on it but same.Can you believe it they wants to open engine for new experiment till today they dont have any reponsible ans. daily new experiment.How can i give permission to open the brand new car engine for experiment.

                                    To all Skoda Fabia Buyers!

                                    I am one of the victims of the fraudulent activities of SKODA India. I bought a skoda fabia in October'09. The car has just done under 3000 KMs. I left the car in the workshop 4 days ago complaining of vibration problem. I could see in the faces of the service station guys : "Yet another fabia has come" and they have started the usual rituals.

                                    As consumers, what are we going to do about this?

                                    I want to form an association of all disgruntled skoda fabia customers and seek justice. We can at least create some news and warn other potential victims. Please voice out your opinion. Even if 10 o[censored]s join together, we can make a big difference.

                                      Morning All,

                                      This matter is at our top most concern and need your urgent action to resolve the issue. We are experiencing white smoke from Silencer in brand new Skoda Superb (HR-51-AF-8020) Date of purchase 29 Aug 2009 , which is very much surprising for new vehicle which giving white smoke continuously in the morning. We are very much concerned for this due to some earlier issues and experiences with your sales dealers.



                                      We were informed by your service dealer(Continental Auto) that all technicals queries are subjected to your Germany plant and they are discussing issue with technical people over there. But when i asked them to give me the copy of conversation they had there was no reply and i was being told that we will give you soon (Week Time)



                                      Other problems we faced since we buy are:



                                      1) Vehicle handed over to us without PDI and engine was very noisy (Bought from Arshia Motors), finally they gave us another piece instead of what they gave us because of this almost after 10-15 days.



                                      2) Since two times your horn got replaced by (Arshia Motors & Giriraj Motors) but still creating problem, which i am very much shocked in two month two times horn got replaced but still not working.Arshia Motors says they don`t have horn in stock and we are not getting it from Skoda Auto as well.This problem happened from last 25 days.I am regularly in touch with Mr. Rohit (Service Adviser).It happens in your company (The world Famous Company SKODA AUTO). Presently it’s under warranty till its ok, but what after warranty.



                                      Can you just give me a simple answer how could be there so much problems for luxury like this. Or, is this within india only. Please do the needful and advise me soon.

                                      This matter is at our top most concern and need your urgent action to resolve the issue.we have bein using a skoda octavia{L&K}from past 4yrs..the cars has been service as per 55, 503km on given period.but since last year we are facing some problems such as after the run of 37, 390km the car starter was failed..after the work was done still if the car not in use for more than 3-4 days the battery of the car gets down.it fails to start.we have being complinig since the problem has started bt we are nt happy with the service given to us.few days back the a/c has stoped working after giving it for major servicing certain changes have being told to us by them that have to be changed and we are soon going to get it done.today as we were on our way the clutch and gear box failed in the midway so we had to tow the vehicle til the showroom. they have give us the cotation of rs.81, 000 even after the major service.


                                      Can you just give me a simple answer how could be there so much problems for luxury like this. Or, is this within india only. Please do the needful and advise me soon.

                                        As I owe a SKODA OCTAVIA 1.9 TDI RIDER bearing Engine number ALHE03862 and Chasis number TMBCGE1U75A029472 registration number DL4CR-8947 with mileage of 54264 kms.

                                        That it was my pleasure to owe such a superb car and we all were happy and satisfied with the quality of the car; but now its being a nightmare for me as I have given the car to above said dealership for general running service on today i.e. 4th Nov 2009 at 10:30 am.

                                        Sir, Car was given just for general service and with minor complaints like door & dickey noise etc; Although the Job Card was opened by Service Advisor Upinder Singh into the supervision of his senior Mr. Varun.

                                        That the car was inspected and sent inside the workshop at the same time and Mr. Upinder (S.A) promised to deliver me by the same day i.e. today the 4th Nov 2009 at 4-4:30 pm. But now at 4:45 pm I have received a call from Mr. Upinder from his personal mobile number ([protected]) telling me that the “OIL SEAL” located below the gear box of the car is leakage and Oil has been gathered at “TRAY” below the Engine; further he told me about the Suspension of the car needs some work like bushes etc. Sir, he was even unaware of the proper details regarding the work and somebody else was speaking from behind with nonsense language.

                                        Sir, I would like to ask you one thing that you have given me delivery time for the car at 4-430 pm and at 4:45pm the people are telling me for new and new works to be done. I really don’t know that what the hell they had done to the car.
                                        Sir, One more thing I would like to bring to your notice that I am worried about the performance of your dealers and way of their work by employing ineligible staff employees leading the down falling the name of the company.

                                        Sir, I would like to bring to your kind attention that earlier I had also given my car to same dealership (Fahrenheit, Moti Nagar) for A.C Coil Change that time also they called me up after 4 Hours telling me about the “Radiator Fan” not working then I ignored the fact and told them to replace the same. Now, I came to believe that they people have FALSE INTENTIONS IN THEIR STUPID MINDS to do actions like this by informing people later for more and more works acquiring more and more Labor Charges.

                                        Sir, I belong to middle class family and purchased your company’s car at the Loan amount of Rs 7 Lakhs and not a rich enough to approve any amount of False Estimates.

                                        Sir now it’s my humble request to you people to look into the matter and perform the needful actions at the earliest.
