I have purchased a xbox 360 game cd from snapdeal. Purchase order id: [protected] dtd. 12.08.2017, product delivered on 17.08.2017 on cod basis and we made full payment in cash. (It was my son's birthday). It was packed in red color pack. However, when the cds we installed in our xbox, found that it was not working. We got highly disappointed & contacted their customer care, lodged a complaint for replacement on the same date within 2-3 hrs. After receiving the item. Reference number 43383430 dtd. 17.08.2018. Person from snapdeal came on 19.08.2017 & collected the complete item, packing, invoice, sticker, cds and issued a slip as acknowledgement. We got an email from snapdeal dated 26.08.2017 stating that we are working on your replacement request and will reply. We got another email from them stating "your returned item does not meet our quality check guidelines.
We have received your returned package. Unfortunately, your returned watch dogs xbox 360 did not meet our quality check criteria as some of the parts/accessories that were delivered to you along with it are missing. Due to this, we are unable to process the replacement for your item. Your replacement request has now been closed". We again got disappointed and called the snapdeal, their first reply was since we have not given them reply of email within 24 hrs, hence, our request was not considered. We demanded escalation matrix, they refused, after lot of insisting, they arranged a call back from senior (Mr. Navin) who informed that since, we have not received complete item, saying they have received only 1 cd, hence, your request has been closed. My request was that i may provided the quality test report or test on which our request has been closed. They refused to provide.
Now, we have again emailed the acknowledgement wherein the person has received complete item (I. E. 2 cds). We have sent them emails more than 3 times with attachment of acknolwedgement, but they are not giving any reply. Their customer card phone nos. Are also not giving any response. We have no option but the lodge an fir against the company officials because it is very simple fraud, they have supplied defected item, on replacement request they are simply saying quality test failed. They are not giving any reply to acknowledgement slip. We are in search of govt. Agencies those can help us in the matter.
