www.snapdeal.com - One of the worst experience with “so called” well known shopping/deal portal recently.
A week later, I was sitting on my laptop surfing internet, I used to do lot of shopping online through various shopping portals, so I was browsing through various shopping portals and getting excited through offers provided by them, I come across very attractive offer for Asus Laptop on www.snapdeal.com. The portal was offering highly configured Asus Laptop around 28000 the original price of the laptop is around 46000. So, it’s obvious that I got more excited. I placed the order as I have trust on the portal due its past services.
On their site, they show the “Out of stock” text against the products which are not in stock with them, in my case, it was not in this mode. So they accepted the order. They have mailed order acceptance mail. So, that time I was so excited and encourage my friends to grab the deal. Two of my friend also placed the order.
After placing the order, I was eagerly waiting for the product to be delivered, but this time the havoc has been created by Snapdeal.
On third day of after the order, their customer care executive called me and informed me that my order is going to be cancelled by them due to lack of stock. During the phone I argued that and they twisted the statement that the price shown on the portal was wrongly stated.
After this call, I waited for status change on the site, they were not updating any status and then after two days of call they mailed saying they are not going to cancel the order but order will get delayed due to some issues with their vendor.
My anxiety led me to call their online call center which all time busy when I succeeded to connect with them they cut phone several times during the talk and I could not put my point.
So, again I had some hope to get the product to be delivered to me. But then again their customer care executive called me and informed that they are confirming to cancel order finally. Their CCR not allowed
transferring the calls to the manager. So this time also I couldn’t make proper communication.
They are doing such false pricing gimmicks to attract customers to their site. They are not listening to the customers. They are being very rude by the time. They completely are misleading customers.
In General,
It’s not customer’s fault to attract and put order to alluring offer (that’s what they actually want). It’s their mistake to quote wrong price on the portal. Why customer has to suffer due to their mistake?
I know that they will counter me arguing that they have clause in their terms and condition that they can cancel the order in case of wrong pricing. So, legally they are out of the fault but morally they are doing wrong practices. They are applying such wrong and negative marketing tactics to attract more users on the sites.
So, I have three main complaints with www.snapdeal.com
1) Why they are misleading customers through attractive pricing? Loophole technical capabilities.
2) Due to their technical inefficiency why customer has to suffer?
3) Very Very Bad customer service - Their customer care executives are cutting the phone during the talk. They don't listen the voice of customers. Customer can not even connect to their senior managers to put their point.
I got frustrated due to this kind of approach by this well know site. I request all friends not to use www.snapdeal.com in future. Spread this message to your friends and let them know about it.

This is with reference to the order I’ve booked on25 august 2014 and order no. [protected] for Micromax gc222 phone.
Since, I’ve got this device I’m facing numerous problems regarding its operation.
I’ve decided to take it to the service center but for that i needed BILL of my purchase which I’ve misplaced.
So, I wrote to the snapdeal for providing me the duplicate copy of the bil.
