Sub:- Faulty Handset of Sony Xperia Z3 Compact D-5833 / IMEI - [protected]
Dear Sir / Madam,
I have bought a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact handset Model D-5833, from Satnam Electronics, G.K.-1, M-Block Mkt, New Delhi, vide their Invoice No. 776/15-16 dt 31.05.2015 for Rs. 34, 800/- (copy of invoice is attached).
On 6th July 15 the Sony Xperia, automatically the display got blank and was not getting Switched ON. I checked the online customer care and went to troubleshooting, while following instructions I was informed through live chat to press both the Power Button and Volume button together for few seconds and after that it got switched ON.
But again On 20th July 15, the mobile handset automatically got switched Off and did not have Switched ON. I once again checked online customer care, and was asked by live chat to press the small yellow key in the SIM Card section for few seconds to format the handset so as to switch on the Phone. I repeated this process twice and later on I submitted my Mobile at Sony Service Centre, Accel Frontline Ltd., Nehru Place vide their Job no. W[protected] dt 25.07.15, for faulty Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. (Copy of Complaint is attached).
On 8th August 15 I went to collect the handset from the Sony Service Centre, Accel Frontline Ltd. at Nehru Place, the mobile was not operational and was told it needs charging. The Service Executive Charged the phone in front of me, it was not charging. On enquiry I was informed that 4 parts have been changed. Later on, I inserted the Simcard to check the handset and within 2 mins the display went blank and was not getting ON. I had to once again leave the Handset with Service Centre against Job No. W[protected] dt. 08.08.15. I called up on 13.08.2015 to check but was informed that the repair work is still pending for parts as Mother Board needs to be replaced and till date it is pending.
I wonder, Sony being a big brand has such poor quality of products and service, as it take more than 3 weeks to repair a mobile hand set.
I would request you to kindly replace my Mobile handset with new one as I am not comfortable using the faulty Handset again.
I assure myself not to buy any Sony products and would restrict all my known to do the same after this horrible experience.
Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I have faced panel issue with my Sony tv as well. It came just 13 months time and only use of 8 months.

I AM CHASING SONY INDIA SINCE 2.5 MONTHS BUT THEY REALLY DONT CARE and
STILL its not replaced. They are asking almost 60% of TV price
(rs.15500) for replacing panel and their cost is very high.
SONY quality is really gone down and their customer care is really
pathetic. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY SONY PRODUCT AS THEIR QUALITY IS POOR
AND IT BECOME BIG HEADACHE TO ME
We spent high price to get the best Brand. If this is the experience with so called Best Brand Sony then i am greatly disappointed.
Please help me.
