I have taken flight SG052 from Dubai to pune on 3/4/2019 from Dubai airport and arrived at pune airport on 4/4/2019 at 4:40 am.

While putting my check in baggage at dubai airport, i have put a lock and plastic tie lock as well on my bag. But to my surprise when my check in baggage arrived at belt no1 on pune airport its lock was broken and the plastic tie lock was also absent. i have raised my concerns with the available spice jet staff ( Amit ) regarding the same, he told me to open and check the baggage.

The horror what i received after opening my bag is that my Apple watch, air pods and gift ( perfumes) were stolen from the bag and also all the clothes and other things were tossed and scrambled inside my Bag.

There was no tag by any authority about opening and scanning my baggage. when i have asked about the explanation from the Spice jet staff ( Mamta / Amit ) i receive a mundane response that we don't know Sir how this can happen.

They were trying to convince me in the most unprofessional manner that locks can be broken while loading and unloading of baggage and things may have fallen down. This is complete nonsense.

How theft can happen from the most secure place, where there are CCTV and other security measure are on high alert and this is a grave mistake from full Spice Jet Management.

Its a serious offence which has been committed when my luggage was in custody and surveillance of Spice Jet management.

I seek full refund / replacement of my things lost in the act of theft committed in custody of Spice Jet.

I have raised complaint ( Complaint number 42279 ) at the airport mentioning my contact number and email id . its been 16 hrs since i have raised the complaint with the airline and there is no communication so far.

Awaiting for the response within next 24 hrs. failure to that ill further escalate this matter to the highest available authorities.

Based on your explanations, the case has to be handled as follows.

The duty of the Spece Jet manager Pune airport is to deliver the decision:-
- either to the police office of Pune (Lohagaon) for the investigation of the possisbe theft at the area, whih governed by the Pune Municipal Corporation,
by filing the "theft" in police F.I.R.,
within 3 days following the receipt of your complaint,
or
- to deliver your items to "your "door within 21 days, following the receipt of your complaint.

If it is not done in time, the passenger can claim the compensation via the district court of Pune (India) or of Dubai (UAE).

It is advasable to keep e-ticket, boarding pass, bag tad, your own application regarding theft till the finan resoluton, but at least 1 year.

You can hire a lawyer or a legal professional for the representation of the case, if you consider lack of the sufficient knowledge in the complaing procedure.

    This has been so bad experience with spice jet ; they have cancelled our tic from bagdogra to blr at the last moment because of the Boeing issue; that also only by sending a mail ; they had mentioned one number which never got connected ;no calls ;;neither their customer care got connected.Online refund also cnt be done ; such callousness never expected from a service provider

      I had booked bagdogra to bangalore flight in Jan 19 for the date 17thApr. Today morning, 4th Apr i get a message that our flight has got cancelled.

      This means i had to pay more price for rebooking my flight on 17th as we are already so late. And though i understand the genuine reason of cancellation, why are we informed so late and spice jet should pay the balance which i have paid to book new ticket. The only reason for us book air flights so early is to save money and we land up paying more because of their mistake.

      Spicejet should reimburse the extra ticket price which i incurred due to this cancellation of flight.

        I had really bad experience experience about spicejet. I booked my flight for dated 13-apr-2019 from Bangalore to patna.I need to attend my brother Marriage which is on 14 APR . Today I just got a text on my mobile number saying that "Your flight has been cancelled by Spicejet due to some unknown reason. You can rebook yourself on an alternative flight by visiting some site" When I went to the site I could not find any available flight of any of the date between 9 To 13 April 2019. They didn't even try to reach me on my contact no and inform about this. I tried to call the customer care ([protected]/[protected])but these numbers are not reachable, I tried multiple time but unable to connect, not sure whether spicejet provides the customer service or not .This is really a shameful act by them..without informing the customer and making sure to book the alternate flight they simply cancelled it and just sent a text message which sometimes people doesn't really check it.

        It is very urgent for me to travel on 13 APR 2019 but I could not able to get any suitable option currently. Now the flight price is so high for given date. I am not really left with any option.

        Spicejet Team must take care of these types of incidents and make sure to provide the alternate way to travel instead of just sending a text message and asking the customer itself to book the ticket. After this incident I would never dare to book any of the flight ticket at Spicejet.

          I took a flight to hong kong from delhi sg 31 - 3rd january 2019 2345 hours (Which left on 4th january 0050 hours due to 1 hour delay)

          I, rajan puri, and my son shantanu puri - landed without our baggage reaching.

          We have no clothes here.

          We have asked for some baggage allowance. Sats hk ltd, your baggage handler, have asked us to contact the airline for the same, as spicejet doesn't have an office in hong kong.

          Please help. We have nothing to wear.

          There is no duty of the air carrier to provide the passenger with the clothes or other personal items, upon otherwise stated in the Contract Of Carriage, related to the particular flight.

            Iam peravali prince. I recieved a mail in gmail that iam selected for spicejet limited interview. I recieved a call from [protected] his name siddhartha chowdary was telling that your resume was selected for interview then you have to pay 9950 rupees for security deposit because of flight tickets and accomidation of company then i believe him i paid 9950 to andhrabank [protected] andb0000160 in favour of ratan singh on 29/03/2019 that day eveng i recieve an application form of spicejet limited and he asked me to fill and resend to him. Then next day 30/03/2019 siddhartha chowdary called me said that one of their hrd call to u shortly please be patience then i recieved an call from [protected] his name ratan singh he said that ur resume was selected for direct recuitment in spicejet limited without interview so you must pay 25000 rupes for security deposit so we have not waste our placement of job we shall refund whole amount while joining. So i trust him sent rupees to same account number. Then that day evening i recieved an appointment order from spicejet mail in that document designation and job location is not mensioned so i immediatly call to him and i asked for such job location he said that job location was confirmed by head quarters. So he used to call him on sunday or monday means 31/03/2019 or 01/04/2019 so i, make a call on sunday he didnt lift his phone so i think sunday is an holiday. But i make a call repeatedly he swichedoff his mobile. Then i make a call on monday he lift his phone telling sorry i dont know about ur location then cuts a phone putting me in block list. Sir please help me

            My wife habeeba yellalu is travelled from Delhi to Chennai dated on 4 th April 2019 pnr number JE68PN . Already i paid for meal charges 240 rs .through goibibo . But tin flight journey they didn't serve the food . We are disappointed. My wife is suffered very bad.

              We travelled through spicejet on 25th march from ahmedabad to bangkok. We were called to upgrade our spicejet to spicemax. The facilities included extra leg room, pillow, blanket, alcoholic beverage, food and more.
              We paid 3998 rs. To avail the benefits. When we boarded on the flight, we were given the seats alloted to us with no facilities. When we asked the reason, they told us that these seats are not upgraded to spice max. We complained and they shfted us to 16th number seats with pillows and extra legroom.
              We asked for blankets and alcoholic beverage. The denied saying that they don't provide alcohol as we began our journey from gujarat. When they called us for upgradation, they already knew that we will board from ahmedabad but still they included this facility in spice max. They even didn't provide the blankets.
              The food provided was of inferior quality. The spicemax customers complained and asked for refund. The authorities convinced us that they will do that but we haven't got any message till now.
              Register the complain and take the necessary action!

                I have traveled from kolkata to patna by flight no sg-377. My pnr number was cdu57k. I have 2 complains regarding this flight.
                1. You can see the attached ticket that i have been selected seat no 21f, but at the time of getting boarding pass.. It was given as 11c.. Why?
                2. You can see the ticket where i have booked one veg refreshement.. But in the flight nothing offered.. Why?

                Should i raise this complain at apex level along with consumer forum.

                The bodrding pass, the primary resevationn of a seat is not seen in the text.

                The rules related to the seat allocation, which air carrir has duty to allot to the apsnger deuring the flight, had been issued and governed by the circular of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)
                in India .

                    We (Myself and my husband - both senior citizens)
                    Checked in for my flight at chennai airport
                    Due to my limited mobility i am using a battery-operated mobility scooter.
                    When i checked in for our flight :
                    A) mobility scooter was treated as a baggage.
                    B) i was boarded as last passenger.
                    Spice jet nodal officer has turned down my representation saying that the excess baggage fee was charged in accordance with the policy and any article or baggage given for check-in during a travel will be considered in the baggage allowance. These unfriendly terms and conditions framed by spice jet airlines has caused me discomfort.
                    This is in violation of the draft rights of persons with disabilities bill, 2012
                    I am a frequent flyer member and have travelled in many airlines in india and abroad., with my mobility scooter, which is
                    A) transported without any additional cost
                    B) and priority boarding was ensured for disabled passengers.
                    Surprisingly these policies were not followed in spice jet.,
                    My concern is whether spice jet will treat the mobility scooters used by handicapped persons as baggage and charge as luggage allowance
                    Or it will be transported free of cost at least in the near future.
                    Their policy will be helpful for similar disabled passengers.
                    Nobody has a duty to deliver the monetory decision against the receipt o[censored]nidentifed complaint or against the complainant, who does not want to disclose his or her particulars.

                    The same is related to persons, which are hiried for the services for and by Government.
                    My flight time as change From your side early morning 5.50 am to night 9.45pm but still not received my ticket pls clarify me

                      I have received this message on march 25 stating that spice jet airways india conducting interviews in all departments i want to make sure the people doesn't get cheated with these kind of fraud job posting. I request you to take immediate action on this email or job posting. And also they are charging nearly 10000 for the interview process as security deposit.

                        money deducted but no ticket issued

                        A payment of rs. 44, 670 (Includes to & fro ticket from mumbai to porbandar + spice insurance + seats – both ways for 5 tickets) was deducted from my icici bank on 19 march 2019 (Early morning), while doing online booking (Using “net payment” option) from m. Spicejet.com (Used my mobile), but no ticket was issued.

                        Till date (11 days has passed), no refund has been received. Airlines customer care is not able to provide...

                        Dear sir/madam,

                        We have booked air tickets for travel at kashmir on 4th april 2019. Pnr-pcgist, pnr-rbbwwj & pnr-n6zzyy (Delhi to srinagar). Total-8 passengers. But due to present scenario we are not in a position to travel to the place. So we want to cancel the tickets. Though this is a security as well as life risk matter for us to go to kashmir now a days. So we told them to consider this matter as a serious issue. We are not going to cancel the same for any other issue because you know the current situation very clearly. Also within 8 pax 4 of them are sr. Citizens so you know how their mental position now. Also we have another airlines ticket for some of our group member's for the same date. But they (Vistara & air asia) have given full refund against the same. We have evidence also. So pls help out us for the same.

                        1. The "present situation" must not touch anybody's heart, as Saudis say emotinally.
                        Or, the passenger must produce a good reason for the refund.
                        The good reson of refund is that, which produced in rules of the ticket or in general regulations of the transportation by air (ICAO conventons and annexes).

                        2. If passenger experience the sence of danger, such reason can not be qualified as good one for the refund purpose.

                        3. Please advise the same to your 7 passengers (e-ticket holders).

                        Our depature time is 5.40 p.m on 29th march 2019 but it got delayed by 4.30 hrs that is 10.15p.m
                        But again it got delayed by 1 more hr..that is not confirmed time.
                        Is this the way they provide service to the customer. Better shutdown the airlines.

                          Flight sg105 supposed to depart today evening @20.15 from delhi to chennai, however due to negligency of ground staffs, it was stationed in the delhi airport for next 2 hrs. There was some technical issues and tyres need to be replaced for safety reasons. I understand about these, why this has not been checked when the flight was landed? What was the point of creating harassment with flight full of passengers? Most of the passengers were complaining that too when we have requested for snacks, it was turned down. This is unacceptable. It will be very difficult to think in flying spice jets from now on
                          This is horrible. now you have started charging for web chekin. Even middle seats are not spared. This is called Daylight Robbery. You shaould understand that web chekin is not a convenience but a time saving tool for both Customer as well as Airline. Airline also saves lot by avoiding long queue.

                            I booked a flight from new delhi to goa on 21st march 2019 which was scheduled at 10.30 am but it got delayed and rescheduled at 2.15 pm and our whole day was wasted. After boarding the flight, we asked for water but the cabin crew was not attending properly at all and ignored serving the water. We asked so many times for water but they kept on ignoring and no water was served during the flight.

                            After spending time in goa, we booked flight again which was scheduled at 9.30 pm on 25th march 2019 and again it was delayed and rescheduled at 10.40 pm but the boarding started at 11.00 pm and we boarded the flight at 11.30 pm and no refreshments were provided for such delay. We even asked for water from cabin crew and again the water was not served in my whole flight. The staff was ignorant and rude. I did not pay for such a bad experience from spice jet. I am never gonna book any flight from spice jet neither i am gonna suggest anyone else to book it. Too bad experience, rude and disgusting cabin crew

                              On 24/03/19, i travelled from dubai to ahmedabad-

                              Baggage no sg[protected]
                              Complaint no 03592496.
                              The flight got late by 5 hours and reached ahmedabad at 4:00am. The baggages of half of the passengers were missing and were left at dubai airport purposely. The officials told us that they will deliver the baggage on our residential address within 24hrs. The number they provided is switched off, unable to contact anybody from spicejet airline on airport.

                              Stop harassing the passengers!!!
                              First of all you delayed the flight by 5 hours and then you misplaced 72 baggages of almost 50 passengers when travelling from Dubai to Ahmedabad on sunday 24th march 2019. We arrived on Ahmedabad airport at 3:50am on 25th march 2019.
                              In the The Times of India newspaper, they mentioned it that they have already received the baggages of all the passenger by tuesday night and promised us to deliver it at our mentioned address by next day. Its been 5 days since I came back from Dubai and there is no response from the airlines.
                              The contact number which they provided me #[protected], is constantly switched off and nobady is their to attend the Ahmedabad Airport @spice jet office ahmedabad[protected].
                              I have made an online complaint, as well as on desk complaint (at airport) but I just got an answer once saying that they have received it and the person is on the way to deliver it. But they are just words to escape from their commitments.
                              Is this the new way to mentally harass the customer!!!
                              Spice jet Pondicherry Mr. P Vignesh, is the worst crew member I’ve met in my life. He’s very rude and unprofessional in his behavior. Even for extra baggage his words were so intimidating and this kind of person shall never be allowed to these jobs.
                              I have booked ticket from Hyderabad to madurai on 7.3.2019 through my SBI credit card in the name of vasantha kumarRadhakrishnan.an amount of RS.5258 has been debited but my ticket had not been confirmed. I didn't get pnr number nor any confirmation of booking.flight timing is 10.10 of 07/03/2019.hyderabad to madurai.time around 2am.kindly refund

                                Its been 12 days now but still i didn't get my refund. My pnr: - k7cmxf, plane to chennai was canceled on 15 th march. You told me that i will get full refund. When shall i expect my refund? Is a company like spice jet is cheating on us? I will go to the consumer forum since you cancelled the flight and still you are not refunding my money back. What is this? What is your top management's email or contact number? I am very disappointed from your approach. I have sent you a mail earlier and you are not replying me.

                                Usually air carrier has to refund, if the correct legal complaint had been submitted and received at air carrier site,
                                within 15 days.
                                As no complain and evidences are attached, it is impossible to move further with such public complaint.

                                  There was a message from vm-rshine on web 13th march saying that your cv is selected for spice jet ground staff for more details call for this number [protected]
                                  I was interested and called for the number and they told there will be online test which i have clear and then pay the amount 2000/- for registration purpose.
                                  And then they told i have been selected for the second round there will be profile verification so they told me to pay 7500/- fees for that and i had paid on 20th march and then they had sent me the mails from [protected]@outlook.com
                                  They had sent me payment slip for 2000/- and profile verification mail and job confirmation mail and now there is no response from them they have switched off the phone.
                                  I am requesting you to help me to get back the amount if possible.

                                    I booked a flight from kolkata to hyderabad travel date: 24/03/2019.
                                    Flight number: sg750
                                    The flight was scheduled at 9:50 am, but the flight actually departed at 4:00 pm. There was more than 6 hours delay in the journey and the customer care was not helpful at all. First, the flight was delayed to 12:50 pm which was informed about 16 hours before the journey. Then the flight kept on getting delayed till 4.
                                    Some of the delay information was given vis sms/email and there was no one in person to address the issue.

                                    By diling the telephone number of the customer service, the passenger is entitled to get full information
                                    on the compensation and the procedure of the compensation, including the form and full address of the air carrier, which had delayed the flight..

                                    If such information is absent for the passenger due to fault of the air carrier, the pasenger is entitled to report the incident with the date and supportng documents (eticket, messages from air carrier)
                                    either to
                                    (1) DGCA of the Ministry of civil aviation
                                    (2) customers court
                                    (3) office of public prosecutor in your city / town
                                    for an exact legal action, which can be legally expected within 15 days.

                                    The complaint on the delay of the authority can be submitted by the passenger to the higher ranking prosecutor -
                                    Chief Public Prosecutor of the stare
                                    or
                                    office of Public Prosecutor General
                                    with the request on the compensation from the government funds.

                                      Hi,

                                      I'm yet to receive response to my emails sent to and fro to mail id - [protected]@spicejet.com, [protected]@spicejet.com,
                                      Cvo. [protected]@nic.in and with no option i have to also register my complaint here to take this further with consumer court and dgca higher authorities.

                                      First of all i would like to inform that we were 3 passengers travelling on spicejet flight sg-455 from mumbai to goa on 13-feb-2019.
                                      The sequence of the eventful day at the airport is as follows:

                                      1. Day 1 12-feb-2019 a day prior to the flight i received an sms flight sg-455 is preponed by 15 mins and to arrive at the airport 2hrs prior, to commence the journey.

                                      2. Day 2 13-feb-2019 while we friends reached the airport by 12:10 pm at the spicejet counter we were informed flight is cancelled due to operational reasons and can book another flight at own cost. There was no sms or email sent out to passengers and in all 7 passengers were present at the counter similarly complained none o[censored]s received an intimation of flight cancellation. It was my birthday the following day 14-feb-2019 for which we friends had planned the trip and booked the flight a month prior to avoid last minute season rush considering its valentine’s eve, so it’s just not acceptable to take refund for cancellation and book a flight at the rates prevailing on the date of flight. Second, i also had hotel non-refundable confirmed reservation.

                                      3.in the event we got to know eventually flight sg-488 that was scheduled to depart from mumbai to goa at 11:30 am was cancelled. Since the passengers started shouting at the spicejet counter, situation got out of control and mr. Kaushal vyas who appeared to be the senior member of your team took a call and accommodated all the passengers by cancelling flight sg-455 which was scheduled to depart at 3:40 pm. This was not acceptable by none of the passengers standing at the counter, due to flight sg-488 subsequent flight was impacted putting all o[censored]s in a situation of dilemma.

                                      4. The assistant at spicejet counter happened to call goair airlines to accommodate all 7 passengers which was scheduled to depart at 10:05 pm in night however the question still remained, who would pay for the prevailing flight and loss of hotel reservation? At which, all the 7 passengers were than accommodated in flight sg-488 and handed over boarding passes and asked to proceed towards security check in and wait at boarding gate no. 21 as informed.

                                      5. While waiting at the boarding gate no. 21 there was a notification for gate change from 21 to 26 and flight delay estimated to be 4:35 pm. Around 4:00 pm there was no update of goa flight but suddenly ahmedabad flight boarding was announced at gate no. 26. When 100+ goa passengers started shouting on duty team member mr. Brian and ms. Nisha were clueless as to what time goa flight will depart, if at all on 13-feb-2019?

                                      6.in spite of repeated requests mr. Kaushal vyas refused to step forward in front of the passengers to inform the status of goa flight, brian and nisha repeatedly kept mentioning kaushal is busy and can’t walk up at this time. I fail to understand what other work was more important for mr. Kaushal while 100+ passengers stood there divested since 10:00 am?

                                      7. There was total mismanagement by spicejet with none of the members taking responsibility of the event nor stepping forward to talk to the passengers.in addition, passengers stood there with no water or snacks / food arrangement by spicejet members. There was no spicejet representative for questions or asking the senior citizens for their health and parents with infants. Spicejet just didn’t bothered to do so. We only got to know later in flight water and food arrangement were made but didn’t reach all the passengers by large since it was not properly communicated / announced by spicejet team members.

                                      8. Finally after estimated delay from 5:45 pm to 6:35 pm flight sg-488 departed from mumbai to goa with again boarding gate change no. 24. The whole episode was heart breaking while 100+ passengers were compelled to sit at the airport.

                                      In light of the above factors it was total harassment, wastage of energy and time. Entire day cost of goa hotel costed me handsome amount of money. I need monetary compensation from spicejet for the reasons mentioned above and if the same if not given to me i shall be compelled to take this matter up with dgca higher authorities and if required, the case will be filed at consumer court by myself and other co-passengers.

                                      How can you show this complaint ticket as resolved when it's not resolved ?
                                      Dear Hema Mhaiskar,

                                      In order to get the monetary decision or the responce on the processing of the claim the passenger has to express the complaint with:-

                                      - pnr

                                      - message on the delay, if such received,

                                      - each passenger name and address of the passenger, whom reply must be expected

                                      - delay length in hours, if 2 or more

                                      - to state the defined request towards the air carrier or to the travel agent

                                      - to send the complaint at the site of the air carrier / travel agent

                                      - to wait 15 days.

                                      I haven't received response so far from SpiceJet Customer Relationship and I see this ticket shows resolved while it's not.
                                      I already know for few passengers who raised the grievances with SpiceJet have already been issued travel vouchers with cash compensation to few customers, while rest of the passengers are yet to be paid compensation.
                                      I'm been following up about this since close to a month now with no much response received from your end.
                                      DO NOT CLOSE THIS TICKET AS RESOLVED UNLESS IT IS DONE / CONFIRMED BY ME.
