Spiceject (Flights to hubli from bangalore) is not allowing web check-in facility unless one pays by choosing extra-fare seats. This is unfair. I am ok with any setas assigned as long as they allow web-check in. However, for choosing any seat, the airline's systems force you to come down to their counters at the airport.
I feel this is an unfair practice and harassment for passengers who want to avoid lengthy queues at the airport.

    I, Nidhi Singh, reached at Varanasi airport at 11.30 am as my spice jet flight (SG2986) was at 1230 hrs from Varanasi to Jaipur(PNR No. TBWGKG) on 24 September 2018. I took my boarding pass and moved towards boarding gate no.2 after security check. Suddenly I got a message regarding flight delayed about 1 hour 25 mins due to airport runway closure at Jaipur, now it’s departure time was 1355 hrs. I searched for spice jet staffs but found no one at that time. I was very nervous because my next flight (Indigo 6E442, PNR No. FG4N5D)was from Jaipur to Udaipur AT 1610 hrs which was going to be missed my due to this spice jet flight delay. After 30 mins, a spice jet member listened my problem regarding my next flight and he ensured me that my problem would be resolved. I reiterated my issues and all the time I got reply that my next flight boarding pass would be provided me at Jaipur airport and my boarding in next flight would be ensured. But when I reached at Jaipur airport, nobody was there to help me. After some time, one of spice jet staff said that he was informed only for luggage collection, not for my boarding pass. And therefore, I missed my next flight from Jaipur to Udaipur. Since it was very urgent to go Udaipur, therefore I had to take bus service which was not a safe journey for me travelling alone.
    I would request to please look into this matter so that this can never happened with anyone in future and also I get my refund (equal to my total journey cost approx.[protected]+705 bus fare)) in compensation to spice jet poor serviceability.

      Cancelling flight tickets within 24 hours

      I have booked flight thru Yatra online on 25th Sep, spiceJet flight On the same day, after seeing the ticket, I found date became wrong, it should be 25th Dec-2018, while it is showing 25th Oct-2018. So I called multiple times to yatra customer care and spice jet. My Booking number is

      My Total ticket cost is 19086 Rs

      And they are saying after cancellation on the same day also, I will get a refund of 144 Rs.

      So I am really seeking some help on this to get my refund as because of this cancellation either yatra or Spice jet has not bearing any kind of loss and

      According to- Aviation Ministry proposes to remove cancellation fee on flight tickets cancelled within 24 hours of booking

      Please cancel my ticket and provide me refund immediately as I am asking for this on the same day. And I will not accept a refund of 144 out of 19086, it should be full refund on the same day.

      Hi SpiceJet Team,

      You will get new booking against my cancellation, so please confirm me for my refund. Airlines will get more money by my cancellation and new booking, then why you can't waive off my cancellation charges.

      I don’t agree for cancellation fee as I am saying from the same day only and I raised this complaint also on the same day.

      Please confirm me, so that I can proceed with cancellation. Cancellation fee should be in proportion of ticket amount.

        Hi
        I have booked ticket on 24th sep through call center.
        Round trip: jaipur to to ahmedabad 4th nov & ahmedabad to jaipur 17th nov.

        However i called back to call centre to change return date from 17th nov to 18th nov
        Mr deepak & mr gaurav sharma denied for any exception any ticket cancel and rebooking charges.
        I have to pay extra 5000 for my new request.
        When i asked mr deepak to transfer me to supervisor he did not helped me instead he transferred the call to sme mr gaurav sharma.
        This is really unprofessional against customer request of having a word with supervisor.
        Kindly grant exception & exemption for charges (Rs 5000) and change my return ticket to 18th nov

          We were four passengers from spice jet flight no. Sg253 from srinagar international airport to igi airport, new delhi on 22.09.2018 on pnr no. Y8wsgp. The scheduled departure time of the flight was 1640 hours and we reached the airport at 1245 hours. No staff was present at the spice jet counter to guide us. The spice jet staff turned up at the counter at 1330 hours and told us that the flight no. Sg253 was preponed and has already left. They also told that the flight has been getting preponed for last four days. However, we did not get any message, call or e-mail from the spice jet staff informing us about the re-scheduling of the said flight. While we we expressing our discomfort, several other passengers also joined us and a huge commotion resulted. The staff was continuously gave various false reasons that the message, calls and e-mails were sent to us. After heated arugument and consistent pursuaion, the staff told us the truth that they suffered from system failure bcz. One of the passengers who had booked his ticket at 745 am today (22.09.2018) was not made aware of the preponement of the flight sg253. The huge discomfort caused to me (Rajeev jauhari) who has undergone angioplasty and icd implantation is indescribable. Left with no choice, i had to travel back to the hotel to avoid any medical complications. Although, the spice jet staff stated that rs. 11, 140.00 have been refunded to me, i request you to look into the matter personally and refund my expenses for our journey to the hotel and back to the airport (Rs. 2000/- as taxi fare), one night stay in the hotel (Rs. 5000/- as tariff for two rooms) and your economy class air fare (Rs.11, 140/-) as damages. The payment of compensation must be informed to me by message, call and return e-mail at the earliest. The connivance of spice jet staff with the staff of other airlines cannot be ruled out and needs to be investigated.

          Spicejet is not refunding the money for failed transactions on their website. When i raised a complaint in the website, i got a reply saying that they were working on it, but no refund even after several days. My Paytm wallet Transaction id - #[protected].

            I - mahalaxmi travelled on 11.09.2018 from hyderabad to chennai afternoon - poor service on board by playing loud music gets annoyed by us - we have thinking on business, personal etc - music loud disturbs us and in spite of my request the airhostess not responded may be they are from village girls - request the concerned to take action the staff / supervisor and provide suitable training to them - i hate spicejet due to these type silly nuisence

                Dear sir,

                This is to inform you that your customer handling service is very bad at mumbai airport during boarding pass collection. Your staff miss. Punam misbehaved and was very rude. She was behaving as if we are travelling for free, instead i paid extra charges for booking spicemax seats. Firstly punam made us stand for more than one hour to collect boarding pass and then she charged us useless extra high price for only 2 kg extra. It was my first experience on spicejet and was a very bad one. Your service is very bad.

                  I am sharath kumar p r i was travelling from delhi to bangalore with pnr w98kvp, first time i was travelling from delhi to bangalore, since i was new to airways, the receptionist who gave me boarding pass didn't mentioned that power banks should not be in luggage bag, before boarding i was called to security section and interrogated by spicejet staff very rudely, and they have taken my 2 hard disks, if the receptionist would have guided me i would have definitely taken my hard disks from luggage during checkin, i explained my situation and requested a lot, even though they have taken my hard disks, very much hurted by the behaviours of spice jet staff, also giving complaint to authority regarding this. Please mention any rulings to take passengers electronics goods from them, very rude behaviour.

                    Dear mr. Concerned,

                    I am writing to you today as i am deeply saddened and upset with my encounter with a spicejet staff members, mr. Shohaib (Last name not known) located at terminal 1, dubai airport. The incident happened at around 3:00 am on friday, 14th september 2018 at dubai airport terminal 1.
                    My parents, who were traveling from dubai to india, booked a spicejet flight to amritsar (Scheduled to leave at 5:00 am, 14th september 2018). As they were transferring their residence and permanently leaving u. A. E. We had also booked the spice jet cargo service. Along with the cargo service we had also paid for additional baggage – 10 kgs per person, so we paid for 20 kgs additional luggage.
                    Included in their luggage the had 2 tvs (43 inch and 55 inch). Before we booked the ticket and cargo service my father spoke with the spice jet sales staff and informed them that he will be carrying 2 tvs. The sales staff informed him that we cannot check in the 55-inch tv as the rule states that you can only check-in tvs that are less than 55 inch after which he informed them that in that case he will check-in the 43-inch tv and will send the 55-inch tv via the spicejet cargo service. Throughout this conversation at no point did the sales staff inform my father that there will be additional handling charges if we plan to check-in our 43-inch tv. Had we known this, we could have easily sent the 43-inch tv along with the rest of the cargo, which would have been a cost-effective solution for us.
                    We were shocked to hear about the handling charges at the check-in counter at the airport (And by that time it was too late to do anything). My father asked to speak with the spice jet staff to discuss this issue, at which point the person at the check-in counter connected him to mr. Shohaib. My father explained him the entire situation and informed him that he was not informed of the handling charges, to which, mr. Shohaib responded that the details are mentioned on their website. My father then told him that the call center staff should have informed him during their long conversation on the tv rules or should have asked him to go through the website to understand all the rules. To this mr. Shohaib, very rudely replied “why should we read out the rules to you, you should read them”. The manner in which he spoke to my father (A customer) was rude, abrasive, unprofessional and highly disrespectful.
                    After this unpleasant conversation, we went to the spice jet office to speak with mr. Shohaib and inform him that the manner in which he spoke was extremely unprofessional. Once we confronted him, he was not at all apologetic, in fact he was even more insulting. When we told him that this attitude is not acceptable and we will escalate this matter to the spice jet management and send a copy of the complaint to gulf news, his response was – “go do whatever you want!”. This is unacceptable, both professionally as this is not a response or attitude one would expect from an employee, who is representing his company and even at a human level; you cannot speak to a 60+ person in this manner.
                    All this could have been avoided if, instead of being unprofessional and rude, mr. Shohaib had responded in a professional manner. All he had to say was that – ‘we will look into this matter and will advise our staff to provide the relevant info or at least inform the customer to go to the website and go through the fine print and rules in the future’.
                    It’s sad to see that people who are suppose to represent their company behaving in this manner and not caring about how it will affect the reputation of their organization.
                    I request you to look into this matter and take the appropriate action. Also, i strongly demand mr. Shohaib sends a written apology to my father as this sort of behavior is completely unacceptable.

                    No buddy can go with SpiceJet flight bcoz he cheating with customers pls I requested all who book flight with SpiceJet never Go with this.

                      unprofessional and inhuman behaviour by staff at boarding counter

                      I had flight to cochin today at 12:25. While traveling my vehicle met with an accident. In that situation to get another cab and reach airport was very difficult. I had two family members who were accompanying me. I reached the boarding counter at 12 and explained to them the situation.                       I am disappointed spicejet have failed to show appropriate care and concern to rectify the damage caused to me.in a most heartless manner, spice jet hides behind a non existent policy disclaimer. Your baggage disclaimer is clearly supportive of my claim since it only states that the airline is not responsible for wear and tear, handles, wheels etc. And you may verify with eye witnesses at the check in counter or cctv footage at airport.

                      My new baggage was torn by negligence and carelessness your handlers. It has been forcibly ripped against something sharp, or one of your staff took a blade to cut it. My bag was unlocked as well. The fabric is completely torn and damaged.

                      I fail to understand how the airline can deny responsibility for its action? Your airline has poorly trained its staff and the customer has to pay the price? I am aware that spicejet is an innovative low cost airline, but i had hoped that only applied to its fares and not its policies or behaviour.

                      I took the suitcase to the dealer in my hometown after returning from my long journey, and was told it is not possible to repair the damage, it is permanent. Please see the bag warranty details.

                      My fair expectation and demand is that spicejet replaces the suitcase with a new model or compensate the bill amount so that i can go and purchase a new one.

                      I will never get into a spicejet again, and will ensure that i can broadcast my bad experience to everyone i know, in person.

                      Please train your handlers to better care for luggage, after all it costs many times the airfare.

                        Our flight for dehradun got cancelled while we were flying from dehli. They made us go back to the airport and i asked for help straight away. They said they would put us in the next flight at 1pm. I asked the staff member if he needed anything from us and he said it was all good. We waited and found out that the flight was full because we did not give our boarding pass. This staff member did not tell us we had to give him the boarding pass. We ended up waiting in dehli airport 11 hours to get the next flight at 6pm. This is unacceptable and we had 0 compensation for this. Staff member should make sure to give clear instructions to every customer. We lost 1 entire day in rishikesh and ended up spending money at the airport to wait for the next flight. I kindly ask for a compensation since i ended up loosing one day of holiday.

                          I tried booking from spicejet site with the following details on 22.08.18 near 11pm:

                          Jaipur-delhi-dharamshala for 01.09.18, mobile no. [protected], email id: chavi. [protected]@nift.ac.in

                          Passenger 1: chavi goyal
                          Passenger 2: infant, anahita garg

                          After doing all the steps for booking, i paid the amount through paytm wallet and amount deducted as rs 13, 798/- but the booking was not done. I checked this with paytm customer care and they said that the payment has been credited to spicejet. I lodged complaint to spicejet customer care with# 02608112.

                          I am attaching the screenshot of the payment done along with mention of spicejet order number and wallet transaction id. Please reply asap as i need to book the tickets again.

                            Yesterday on 0709/2018, i had my flight sg-55 at 1240 pm from amritsar to dubai. But the flight was 6 hours late & it departed from amritsar at around 1830 hrs. So i missed my work meeting in the evening. There was also a air india express flight which departs from amritsar at 1525 hrs at at lower ticket price at the time of booking. But i booked this spicejet flight at a higher ticket price because i had to reach dubai early. Unfortunately i couldn't reach at time.
                            Now i am in big loss in my work. So, i want the refund of the ticket price please.

                              I would like to bring to your notice that i was travelling today in spice jet flight number sg 516 which was scheduled for departure from kolkata at 6:55 am to bangalore.

                              Passenger name : sarama mitra
                              Luggage : a converse duffle bag
                              (Attached is the picture)

                              When i got my luggage from belt no 2 at bangalore i saw my luggage was torn.
                              It was a new bag and couldnt have torn if not manhandled.
                              I am really very unhappy about the way spice jet has handled my luggage. Not expected from spice jet. Such an incident will make me think twice about travelling with spice jet again.

                                We 2 people are travelling together, and we are getting separate seats and it has been told to us that if we want to sit together we can buy premium. When we are paying for the tickets why do we need yo pay for even basic facilities. We need to pay for each and everything like window and aisle seats that means we are forced to pay extra if we want to sit together.

                                  Dear sir (S),

                                  1. Blackmail by spice jet. Anything goes. Need for regulation and fair practices

                                  I cancelled a spice jet booking, pnr fh7cwr, delhi - mumbai - delhi. Spice jet deducted the amount and refunded only rs. 758, and retained the same as "credit shell" to be utilized against future purchase of tickets. This is manifestly an arbitrary and unfair practice

                                  Now "credit shell" is nothing but cash that rightfully belongs to me but forcibly retained by spice jet.

                                  So, this is an unfair practice. Moreover, it amounts to blackmail, as i have no option, or redress, at the time of redeeming the said "credit shell".

                                  Therefore, this amount of rs. 758/- may please be refunded to me, immediately, on receipt of this notice, as it was extorted under duress.

                                  2. Unsafe credit card usage

                                  I am (Was) not able to redeem the "credit shell" by booking online. I must necessarily call spicejet customer service. Why? Spice jet must answer.

                                  I am (Was) thereby forced to share my credit card and cvv numbers with the customer service agent. Why should (Was) i be compelled to share my credit card details, and incur the risk of fraudulent misuse, god forbid? Spice jet must answer.

                                  As this impinges the public interest there is a need for immediate regulatory oversight and compliance.

                                  Please keep me informed of the action taken/ proposed to curtail this malpractice.

                                    I have booked ticket in spicejet sg1007 by using cleartrip website (Date of journey 2nd september 2018) from mangalore to hyderabad. Since i have changed the plan i have decided to cancel the ticket within 1 hour. (Pnr-ebds5q).
                                    I have paid rs. 8366; and after cancellation i was assured to refund rs 1226 only. By doing so without taking any service they have deducted about 85% of money that i paid as cancellation charge. I feel i was cheated. I request you to do needful to redress my grievance.

                                      We have booked domestic flights of Bangalore to Kolkata wide PNR- H88Y5M(spice jet) on 29/08/2018 through IRCTC tourism website. Our travel date was [protected]. We canceled our we have booked domestic flights of Bangalore to Kolkata wide PNR- H88Y5M(spice jet) and Kolkata to Bangalore wide PNR-J5SYB (air India) on 29/08/2018 through IRCTC tourism website. Our travel date was [protected]. We canceled our tickets due to some reason within 15 hours. Firstly, we were not told about the cancellation fee by the airline or while cancelling not shown any indication of cancellation charges. Now we received a cancellation invoice stating it is almost 75% of ticket charges. Here by copy of the invoice and ticket details enclosed. Our ticket booking fare is of Rs 30484 and the travel date of the booking is more than 3 months after the booking date. This is the mere loot on the part of airlines despite it is cancelled within 15 hours. Hence requesting for consider my request and provide me the valuable refund from the airlines. tickets due to some reason within 15 hours.                                       Sir i had a flight SG57 JAIPUR DUBAI on 26 th aug PNR X3JHKB when i got my checkin bag in dubai seal of lock was teared and my 2700 dihrams were missing from bag kindly see CCTV FOOTAGE and enquire i will put my griveances to DGCA also to enquire the matter this is serious crime and should be dealt quickly
                                      Spice jet management is totally hopeless and unprofessional. Their main business is to keep cheating customers and making money. . It soon would be bankrupt.
