Sir i was traveling on raksha bandhan eve that is on 25/08/18 from surat to guwahati via kolkatta my name is ameet harlalka age 42 male sir it so happened that as i was traveling on raksha bandhan eve i was carrying some sweets abt 4 kilos at hand baggage and on weighing that was the extra baggage so i requested the personnel at the check in counter to be liberal and please allow the sweets to be carried without any extra charges sir i even opened the sweet boxes and showed them it was nothing other than sweets and worth abt rs 1200/= but the person was so rigid and rude that he even suggested to drop down the sweets for them and said that they will have the sweets on our account and charged rs 2000/= as extra baggage money which i paid lastly after not being allowed to carry. Sir there were many passengers who were not carrying any baggage at all and even requested them to adjust with them but the person was not at all co operative and was very adamant. Sir kindly look into the matter at an earliest and oblige. Sir me being from a middle class family that sweets cost me more than enough and i hereby request you not to appoint such persons at your check in counters and it was one of my worst ever flying experience and i was least expecting this type of behavior from a indian company like spicejet were money counts nothing more than an indians emotion.     I flew mumbai to hubli, pnr - p7dkms, the crew damages my checked in bag, photos taken and complaint registered.. A business traveller suffered with the carelessness o[censored]nethical behaviour at the spot and now after lot of follow ups with the office, there is no resolution to compensate for my expensive bag.. They say its not in the policy, then who governs the wrong doing of your team. This is highly ridiculous on part of spicejet to manage the customer relationship - i highly recommend not to fly this airline.
    No courtesy call from SpiceJet.. Isn't it strange!!

      While i was trying to book my seats during web check-in, i found out that all seats except few middle seats are chargeable.
      On calling the customer care representative, she informed that in the airport, we will be allotted seats but now if she helps us in doing bookings, it will be chargeable.
      My questions are as follows:
      1- is the webcheckin done for business or for faster and hassle-free boarding?
      2 - when i am already paying an amount for my journey which should include my fare for the seat, then why am i to pay extra again?
      3 - it is still acceptable if certain front rows or/and extra leg spaced seats are chargeable, but the entire flight???

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        I have booked ticket from delhi to dehradun with SpiceJet airlines by ease my trip for 20/09/2018 (PNR - YBU16T).
        Unfortunately, my ticket for same journey was simultaneously booked by my friend (co traveller) by mistake.(PNR- T6PHPV) on same flight.
        Now I have two tickets for me on same flight. As i m travelling on same flight, and the mistake is genuine I requested to cancel my ticket having PNR YBU16T & give me full refund of the flight ticket.
        I have written to customer care about this but they simply denied my logical request. I request you to look into this matter.

          My luggage bag's chain with lock was broken and was missing.
          My travel date was 10.08.2018 from mumbai to kolkata. Pnr re1tmn... Flight no. Sg 487
          It was very disappointing to see how baggage are handled. Now i m worried for my return journey as i have few breakable goods with me to carry. I request you kind intervention to solve this issue and improve the baggage handling quality.

            I booked a flight through MakeMyTrip app for 9 people. Later got calls from Spicejet that company is giving me an offer to book seat, priority check in, meals, easy bag claim by paying 10044/-. No promotion discount informed. Later on follow up, company says that the discount was already given through MMT app. So why did the company call me up again and asked me to pay again for some service they had supposedly already given me via MMT portal! I want my Rs. 10044/- back and service reverted.

              My spicejet complaint number 01614313. Below shown is my flight sg3214 ticket as per your document. At around 12pm when i enquired to your officer in ticketcounter that, is flight is canceled? They saw my ticket in computer & took the printout and said yes sir your flight is canceled. I requested them for an ' move on flight' on the next day. They stamped a ' seal and wrote move flight ' at the top of the ticket and they told me to wait for 3 hrs. After 3hrs they got the ticket from me and striked the seal and move flight written at top of the ticket, stating that sorry sir you missed your flight.
              This is too ridiculous. I don't want to make any sort of issues. Still now there is no reply regarding this issue.

                We booked flight ticket in Spice Jet Airlines bearing PNR No. J4GNML on passenger name Mr. Rajesh Grandhi at 1740 hrs. today dated 09.08.2018, Flight departure time is at 7:50 pm, But unfortunately the said passenger program has been changed to tomorrow. Then immediately I called customer care [protected] and I requested them to change the schedule to next day based on the present booked ticket price of 17, 282/- and we are ready bare the ticket schedule extra price. But simply they said it is not possible even cancellation or reschedule the ticket as time is just crossed before two hours of flight departure time. I called at 1755 hrs. flight departure time is 1950 hrs.
                We are very much disappointed and unsatisfied of Spice Jet services in this regard. Hence we request you to consider our grievances and refund our amount minimum 50% of total fare.

                  I recieved a mail from [protected]@solution4u.com subjected as "INFO - Call Letter ( SPICEJET AIRWAYS _ Hiring @ Urge nt )" and it has this call letter attached.
                  I was paid 2500 rupee for a process
                  When I called at this number for verification he was in hurry while talking. He does not even talked completely, he said please read the call letter and call me back. I asked me to send the Candidate's Group code number(which is mentioned in the call letter along with the permanent home address)...I sent him the Group code number and address. He does not even reply to the message.

                  I also replied to the mail for some of my queries but did not receive any reply.

                  @ Indian Consumer Forum Team, please do something for these frauds. Such scammers should be hunted down or make them highly penalized .

                      Good way to fleece money with high cancellation charges.
                      I booked a flight from goa to bombay for a morning flight in error. The cancellation charges are pretty high which is 1000+ per passenger.
                      I am informed the rates remain the same till 2 hours before the departure, which is unreasonable, there should be some variation in refund for cancelling in advance, as anybody can make an error while booking.
                      I am given the following complaint number 02562595, not sure where the complaint will go and what will the outcome be.

                        3 bags are torn in transit
                        My tripod is broken in 2 pieces and bent as well.
                        I was charged for all the luggage and even after the fragile tags bags are torn.
                        There were too many last minute changes, crew did not allow me to the the tripod in carry on luggage but even after tagging fragile it's broken.
                        Pathetic service provider.
                        Emergency look up ..! There is an issue regardng name bangarigalla shanta kumari pnr :no. WFJDQK.. the issue is there is spelling mistake on my booked ticket and my flight is 10th of August please recorrect my name and please do send me a mail please

                          My father travelled from spice jet flight from dubai to amritsar on 17.06.2018 by sg 56 from terminal 1 of dubai intl airport. He had three bags with him but at the arrivals he got only two bags. The complaint was registered there and then at the amritsar airport. As per spice jet.. The third bag is not in their system.. Ie they failed to check it in and have finally declared it lost... All this without offering an acceptable solution.

                            Pls note, we total nine of a group booked a ticket of your esteemed flight from kolkata to port blair & back to kolkata on the dated of 16 march 2019 & back on the dated of 23 march 2019. By printing mistake two of our group members name & gender has been wrongly appeared. The name & gender has been appeared like... Serial number

                            1) altap sekh instead of altup (It will be altup)

                            9) uma rani mandal gender appeared male instead of female. (It will be female)

                            Kindly do this needful changes as requested above.

                              To whom so ever this may concern ..

                              I am requesting for full refund for the ticket from Spice jet since I have cancelled it because the name of the passenger was entered incorrectly by mistake. It was Jitender Nath but I entered Jitender Verma bu mistake. This is very improper to not keep any provision for correction of name for genuine customers and passenger has to pay for it.

                              I have cancelled above ticket which was made from Make my trip and I received just 1200 as refund. Please process my full refund of 3500 approx rs.

                              Its a request since we had to book same ticket again . It is unaffordable for us.

                              My money got stolen from the flight... 5000 rs and sbi card from my handbag. How can someone stole from the flight compartment. My seat no was 18c and bag was found on 30th seat. Flight no SG 480

                                Today i am traveling jaipur to guwahati at the counter no 15 of spice jet they told me that my hand bag weight is 11 kg i have told that no sir there is only 6 kg they denied after that i have personally checked in weight mechine there was found 6.05 kg i have registered a complain in t.                                   I boarded this flight on Sunday 22nd July from Mumbai. Since I was an international transfer, based on your policy (http://www.spicejet.com/AirTravelBaggageFaq.aspx) which states '2.Passenger travelling on SpiceJet domestic Sector and having connection on another airline to/from an international destination, are allowed Free Baggage Allowance of 15 Kgs per passenger per flight. (W.e.f 4th Nov, 2014)'. The woman at the counter, however made me pay Rs 2800 for one check in suitcase which had weight of 21.8kg. Despite the fact that I showed her policy she refused to allow my suitcase to be checked in. I had to pay Rs 2800 even though your policy allows for 15 kg (in addition to standard 15kg which was included for my booking). I am extremely disappointed in your service and I would like my refund for the additional charges.

                                    I made a booking in jan, 2018 for my trip in august. Tickets were booked for sg-438 15th aug, 2018 from mumbai to amritsar.

                                    It was cancelled all of a sudden without providing a proper reasoning and no other option was given for mumbai to amritsar route.

                                    I had to opt for full refund and book another flight, i was not reimbursed complete cost of mine of new flight and i was only given a voucher of rs. 1000 each for each passenger which can be used for their own travel and validity is 180 days.

                                    I am a middle class person and do not travel frequently these vouchers may end up utilized. Hence i request to provide me full reimbursement of new tickets.

                                      I, dr pallavi kumari booked the flight in spice jet for dated 30.07.18 from gau to pat. Following are particulars of the flight...

                                      Pnr no-bbt 69a.

                                      I checked in at gau airport at 01:30 pm and reached at ccu at 05 pm approximately due to late departure of the flight from gau. I was waiting at ccu at gate no 23a (That was forecasted initially) for my next connected flight sg377 which departure time was 6.15 pm for patna but due to no any activity regarding flight sg377 at gate no 23a till 5.50pm, i had some doubt and after query i found that there was a reschedule of boarding gate 25 and it was situated at first floor. When i reached the gate no 25 and gave the boarding pass to respective staff at 06 pm they told that flight have already departed.
                                      I had already collected the boarding pass at gau and travelled upto ccu, as i was a girl passenger travelling lonely and i had to attend emergency duty at nmch patna as i am doing ms in gynaecology from nmc patna.
                                      As a responsible citizen of india i arise following questions to your administration..
                                      1. Who are responsible for non boarding of me to my respective flight?
                                      2. If i was not available at respective gate than it was your airlines responsibility to announce my name or called on my mobile number which was given in ticket as i had already collected my boarding pass at gau and travelled from gau to kolkata.
                                      3. Who are responsible of my losses as there was no any flights available on same day to patna hence i lost my emergency duty?
                                      4. Who are responsible for extra expenses, extra time and problems which i faced due to girl passenger travelling lonely?
                                      5. Why have i done to deserve this?

                                      Please look into matter so that my losses will be compensated otherwise i would not hesitate to go to court.

                                      I, Dr Pallavi Kumari booked the flight in spice jet for dated 30.07.18 from GAU to PAT.following are particulars of the flight...

                                        Very disheartedly I m submtng few lines for Ur kind notice. Today I travelled IXZ to MAA FLIGHT NO SG 607. As my wife was having fever she asked blanket but crew told that since it's a low cost Arline they don't keep it. After few min crew came to me and requested to fasten seat belt that time I inquired her again and suggested to atleast keep a blanket and even told that I know it's not in there hands, matter was finished. In between all this I forgot to fasten seat belt few min later a male cabin crew came and jst started shouting at me ordering to put the belt not even once he told politely as I am his paid servant wen I told him he can't talk to me like tis his reply was he will and dont want passenger like me u jst think a while I was wit my family. Even he was moving his hands in front of me as if he may beat me I was threatened he was telling I misbehaved with his staffs which is totally wrong I don't know wt he wanted to prove at tht time. My fault was that I didn't fasten the seat belt for which he could have told me politely also. I asked his name but he denied and his name plate was also not there as if he came pre planned hiding his identity. I m a frequent flyer and today is the MOST WORST ex of my journey. Hereafter i have to thnk before boarding spice jet.
