I had the misfortune of booking on spicejet with pnr w7zn8s to dharamshala and back from delhi for a vacation.
Me and my wife checked in for flight leaving at 2.30 pm. At 1.40 pm appx. I got a message that the flight has been canceled due to "technical reasons"
Now, there was no one to assist us as to what to do next. We went to the boarding gate where they had no clue as to what to do.
One spice staff nearby staff was a bit more accomodating and asked her to book for a flight the next day. But then she said that that flight was full.
After asking for another alternative she suggested that we go to adampur in jalandher instead and then drive to dharamsala at our expense.
After we agreed, she handed us over to a trainee staff who left us in a lurch after sending us out after the security check at the airport. After contacting another roaming around staff he told u sto collect our bags and go to terminal 2. There was limited time to catch that flight. Then the transit van guy refused to let us in as were not "in transit" but due to canceled flight. He wasted lot of time and had no interest of the passengers inconvenience standing in 42 degrees of heat. After a heated agreed with spicejet staff he let us in the non air conditioned van which took almost 20 minutes to reach the terminal 2. Nobody assisted us in loading or unloading the bags and we are senior citizens.
At terminal 2 again the same nonchalent attitude and with great difficulty we checked in again and passed security.
Flight took off but after about 30 minutes it was announced that the flight is returning to delhi due to bad weather.
On reaching delhi, we had to wait in the bus at the tarmac for almost 30 minutes for no reason,
It seems that the commercial people wanted to go back again to adampur but the commander refused.
After that we were allowed to leave the airport.
I strongly object to this behaviour and treatment by spicejet where we lost our vacation, our hotel booking money and our peace of find and health.
At best you should remiburse me the actual amount spent by me for taxi fare, hotel booking loss and tea and snacks for rs. 50000 for us.
A very bitter experience mainly due to the haughty attitude and customer comes last treatment as far spicejet is concerned.
Compensation is expected as a gesture of goodwill from spicejet.
It will be futile to initiate legal proceedings against you but rest assured that this will be circulated online and a copy sent to all directors, shareholders and all concerned so that the awareness spreads as to how spicejet treats its stranded passengers.

      Today I was received a fake interview letter from spicejet airline. I want to complain for this. How they sent me this typ fake things? Pls inform me.

        Itoday, on 10/05/2018 at 5.30am i am traveling from dubai to kochi i was humiliated by your staff at boarding area. I agreed that hand bag lagguage is 7 kg but normally laptop do not acoount in this. Your staffs were arguing with that laptop should include in the hand bag luggage. I haven’t had such bad experience from my 25 years travel experience.

          I hv booked flight from delhi to banglore departing from delhi on 7 may. When my daughter reached the check in counter u tell her ur flight is at 8:30 pm nd will reach banglore at 11:30pm may i kw why. Although ur flight 197 departed at schdeule tym. May i kw why u changed the time for her. Will u enaure the safwty of a girl to go from airport to her hostel in midnight.

              Dear sir,

              I and my wife travelled on 18th april 2018 from rajahmundry to hyderabad by flt sg1602 seat no 12 c and d. While checking in the spice jet checkin staff were indecent, rude casteist and shouting. They forced me to send my cabin bag by registered baggage saying it was oversize
              Pl see the orange bag. Whereas i have take photos of other passengers whose oversize suitcases were allowed in cabin. Pl see photos attached of black and brown bags.
              Next they threw 3 kg of pickle from my registered bag prepared by my wife saying that oil may leak. I had packed very nicely in oil free packing.
              Spice jet have destroyed my property
              I demand that you take action against entire rahahmundry staff for their horrible and adamant and casteist behaviour. I got high bp and my wife is diabetic. Due to this nighrmare we are under depression and suffered untold mental stress and agony.

              I demand that spice jet may pay compensation. I be paid rs 10000/ towards pickles and rs 50000/ towards mental stress agony harrasment tension depression suffered on account of staff of spice jet rajahmundry.

                Spicejet flight number sg-122 travelling from delhi to hyderabad on sunday 6th may 2018 scheduled to leave at 9:40 am is constantly being delayed due to unaccounted for reason. Moreover due to very late communication, passengers are facing a lot of harrasment. The flight is now supposed to take off at 3pm but the spicejet staff is not willing to give any assurance or take any responsibility should there be any more delays.

                  Problem: airport weighing scale measured my check-in luggage at 14.9kgs. My personal weighing scale measured at 13.7kgs. And my check-in counter measured the same at 18.5kgs.

                  I was charged unduly for 3kgs, ie, rs 900/-

                  Excess charge=900/-
                  Total payment=903/-

                  Request: i would like a refund.
                  Recently received a fake call letter from "spicejet limited co." saying that my resume has been selected and that i have to pay rs. 9950 as security deposit.
                  I have receive daily 2 mail.

                    Flight was 3 hrs late, on top of that seats were all cramped up recliner not working, was feeling cold, no blankets avlbl, asked for warm water, was not given. Found the sitcase broken on collection at pune airport.
                    None of my family members are going to travel by spicejet ever again, bad experience.

                      I booked tickets for my family of 2 persons from bangalore to rajahmundry a month ago to travel on 29th april 2018 which departs bangalore at 6.35pm sg-3429. To my surprise at 6pm on 29th i got a message saying that the flight has been cancelled due to technical reasons.

                      Your staff were unprofessional and we put to hardship to travel from bangalore to vijayawada and from there to rajahmundry spending rs. 5, 000 by hiring a taxi and putting us real hardship and mental agony where by our itinerary got spoiled because of your negligence.

                      My claim for the rest of the journey from vijayawada to rajahmundry engaging a cab for rs. 5, 000 our food expenses and compensation for our mental agony as i am a physically challenged person. All out together an amount of rs.50, 000 as compensation i am seeking for the hardship you have put us failing which i am filing a case against spicejet airlines. I am waiting for your reply soon.

                        On 01.05.2018 i boarded the spicejet flight from delhi at 1130hrs alongwith my family and landed at goa at about 1410hrs. The flight no is sg8171 and seat no. 3f. To my utter dismay my baggage bearing seq-0022 did not reach with me at goa. So, i filed a baggage irregularity report being no. 10773 with the spicejet authority goa. Later, i was informed that my baggage was wrongly despatched at gorakpur, up but the goa spicejet authority assured me get back my baggage at any cost and to delivered the same at gaon village beach resort, candolim, goa where i alongwith my family are spending summerholiday. However, i did not get back my lost baggage till i write this complaint. Help me to get back my luggage

                          I booked spicemax for 3 ppl and i was harrased by ‘em cause my brother was 13 year old they asked us to separate or they asked us to leave the flight. I asked them to refund my money but they said your tickets will be canceled and we won’t return you anything. Air hostesses tried to make us understand but the other person who asked was rude and we weren’t satisfied at all. We paid extra money for extra leg space but the staff was so rude (Not the cabin crew).

                            It was shocking experience to know from my family of yesterday travel in spice jet. I had booked ticket four months back confirmation number (Pnr):j9wvkw for my elderly mother, my wife and daughter.

                            But yesterday they were harassed by counter staff of spice jet at ahmedabad though i had paid in anticipation of extra luggage for 10kg and also paid for preferred priority baggage out and also had paid for fixed veg food.

                            Horrible veg food was served which had to return due to smell it had and in cochin no staff helped for baggage out for which i had paid rs 400.
                            Not expected this type of treatment.

                            I need from you compensation of food and baggage out amount

                              Spicejet is the worst service provider in airlines. Although, i had previous bitter experience with spicejet but this time it was the worst. The ticket counter/luggage submit counter agent antara was the worst agent i have found in airlines. She behaved so rude and has no manner and etiquette. What the * spicejet is keeping in their counter.

                              You should reverify the agent named antara. And educate her how to treat customers.

                                  I have booked a Spicejet flight #XY1I3J (unfortunately). You have deducted a service charge of more than Rupees 300 per ticket and have yet failed to respond to my feedback on your website. So I have asked for my service tax back since you guys don't really provide any service for customer's sake. The initial complaint was regarding booking windows seats during web check since I am a customer who has travel sickness. And you have put a price on the window seats. I don't care what sort of explanation you give me. Capitalizing on customers' problems is a sick business and if there's a God I hope you are punished accordingly.

                                    I and my wife tickets were booked from toronto canada on our scotiabank visa card to fly from surat gujarat to delhi on 18th jan 2018 and jaipur to surat 25th 2018. I had made arrangement for wheel chair from both airport.
                                    At surat airport they said that our card does not match the ticket card on which ticket was issued. We had supplementary card and we showed them proof of our passport as well as ticket. They said that these documents are stolen documents and if we want to fly we have to pay cash 16000 indian rupees. Otherwise flight will leave without us boarding. They made us pay cash and did not issue us any receipt. Coming from jaipur we had to pay another 8000 indian rupees to fly from jaipur to surat.
                                    I paid an extra of 140.00 canadian and lots of aggravation at surat airport and the supervisor and the girl at the counter were very rude.
                                    If you require any more information let me know.
                                    I received my refund for the original ticket 8.00 canadian dollars less
                                    I would appreciate if you can refund the difference. 148.00 dollars canadian

                                      So hello spicejet, i thank you whole heartedly for making me have the most memorable day. Well on a very serious note i hate your staff.

                                      So i was "supposed to be" travelling from bengaluru to kolkata (Blr to ccu) on spicejet sg-657 where my departure was 10:40 am
                                      So apparently i was on time for reporting. As per the flight policy reporting time is 45 mins prior departure. And as per my flight timing my departure was 10:40 am and i was the counter at sharp 9:55 am.
                                      At the first counter the staff asked me to step to counter no 1. Waiting after a family of 6 members who got their boarding passes right before me to ccu and headed for security - i got my turn to collect the boarding pass. The staff at counter no 1: stated "sorry ma'am we can't help you."

                                      So i again asked could you help me? She ignored. Again i asked assuming she didn't hear me. Excuse me i need me boarding pass, offering me ticket and id card. She ignored me again. I asked again. There was another female staff standing right behind her using her personal mobile phone attending her call. I kept asking her the same, excuse me could you help me? She ignored all the while she was busy giggling on the phone. I asked her again. She told me the same "sorry ma'am we can't help you".
                                      This ignorance and begging went on till 10:10 am and now i had officially crossed my reporting time.
                                      Due to your staff crew who ignored me and left me helpless wasn't ready to listen to me i happened to miss my flight, my money and my time which i had committed to my schedule internship meeting in kolkata.
                                      So i was left like a helpless student and a helpless girl who went endlessly going begging the staff to listen who were lost in giggles and effortlessly not being there for their passenger.
                                      As a flight staff your main policy is to be there for your passenger or your customer for the matter and that's what i'd blame the entire spicejet to be failing at.

                                      I then rushed to the sales counter of spicejet inside the airport where there was just one staff while others airlines has minimum of two staffs. I requested her politely too to help me but she too was like maam i'm sorry i can't help now it's time already been up. Like seriously what the #? I was being kind and polite all the time from the time i entered airport and stood in queue, kept begging and asking and your staff were being ignorant all the while. This is shameless from your end. I can't really explain to what level i requested rather begged but your staff was busy with her phone call.

                                      I don't have any evidence for my presence there other than the cameras at the airport authority in bengaluru.
                                      Despite my efforts being a helpless girl and a student spicejet is responsible for my loss of flight, time and money.

                                      Now be to straight, consider and look up to my concern. It's been two days almost now and i'm writing this today only because it still irritates me that spicejet could get this cheap, ignorant and stand against the policy of "being for their customers".

                                      Simple, get me a refund of full amount of my flight and warn all your ground staff to next time never behave this cheap with their customers and end the matter before i sue spicejet. It won't take me long to file a huge complaint and about the evidence i'm very much okay to take this matter long and get the cameras at airport for my proof. You might win but i'll be satisfied to at lest get your name bad in the market and make your airlines have loss in number of passengers.

                                        Sir/Madam,
                                        I and my wife travelled from Delhi to Pune., on 21/4/18, by flight no.SG8938, PNR NO.L5Y8MI.
                                        The lady staff and the Gentleman on the counter, practically coaxed me, repeatedly, to pay Rs.1000/- for Premium seats, with meals served on board. I repeatedly refused but the lady staff on counter, said no no I am issuing the boarding pass and you have to pay Rs.1000/-, for premium seats as well we will get gree meals. Pl.note all this they told me in front of my wife, repeatedly. I therefore paid Rs .1000/- cash vide reciept number 3051 dt.21/4/18, at delhi airport, Terminal 2. Anyway, I got seat no 16 A and B, but the Hosstess refused to serve us any meals, and on insisting they served, one Roll to us.
                                        I asked her to pl.register my complaint in their, complaint Register if any.
                                        She assured me that the chief Attendent is doing so, but could not give me any complaint number or any proof.
                                        I, therefore, urge upon you to immediately Refund my Rs.1000/-, with damages and mental Harrassment, on part of your staff.
                                        And the lady ground staff, be reprimanded, by your superiors and a written APOLOGY be submitted to me.
                                        They are spoiling the Brand name of SPICEJET, as my arguments with the Hostess were being listened by atleast 5-6 people /fellow passengers on board.
                                        The question is not of a mere Meal, but what pained me and my wife, the way she forced us to pay, Rs.1000/-, and that too on a FALSE PROMISE OF MEALS TO BOTH O[censored]S. IS SHE GETTING SOME EXTRA COMMISSION FROM SPICEJET FOR ARMTWISTING OF PASSENGERS .
                                        I, therefore, seek the refund and written apology, that such type of things will not reoccur.
