I and my wife tickets were booked from toronto canada on our scotiabank visa card to fly from surat gujarat to delhi on 18th jan 2018 and jaipur to surat 25th 2018. I had made arrangement for wheel chair from both airport.
At surat airport they said that our card does not match the ticket card on which ticket was issued. We had supplementary card and we showed them proof of our passport as well as ticket. They said that these documents are stolen documents and if we want to fly we have to pay cash 16000 indian rupees. Otherwise flight will leave without us boarding. They made us pay cash and did not issue us any receipt. Coming from jaipur we had to pay another 8000 indian rupees to fly from jaipur to surat.
I paid an extra of 140.00 canadian and lots of aggravation at surat airport and the supervisor and the girl at the counter were very rude.
If you require any more information let me know.
I received my refund for the original ticket 8.00 canadian dollars less
I would appreciate if you can refund the difference. 148.00 dollars canadian

    So hello spicejet, i thank you whole heartedly for making me have the most memorable day. Well on a very serious note i hate your staff.

    So i was "supposed to be" travelling from bengaluru to kolkata (Blr to ccu) on spicejet sg-657 where my departure was 10:40 am
    So apparently i was on time for reporting. As per the flight policy reporting time is 45 mins prior departure. And as per my flight timing my departure was 10:40 am and i was the counter at sharp 9:55 am.
    At the first counter the staff asked me to step to counter no 1. Waiting after a family of 6 members who got their boarding passes right before me to ccu and headed for security - i got my turn to collect the boarding pass. The staff at counter no 1: stated "sorry ma'am we can't help you."

    So i again asked could you help me? She ignored. Again i asked assuming she didn't hear me. Excuse me i need me boarding pass, offering me ticket and id card. She ignored me again. I asked again. There was another female staff standing right behind her using her personal mobile phone attending her call. I kept asking her the same, excuse me could you help me? She ignored all the while she was busy giggling on the phone. I asked her again. She told me the same "sorry ma'am we can't help you".
    This ignorance and begging went on till 10:10 am and now i had officially crossed my reporting time.
    Due to your staff crew who ignored me and left me helpless wasn't ready to listen to me i happened to miss my flight, my money and my time which i had committed to my schedule internship meeting in kolkata.
    So i was left like a helpless student and a helpless girl who went endlessly going begging the staff to listen who were lost in giggles and effortlessly not being there for their passenger.
    As a flight staff your main policy is to be there for your passenger or your customer for the matter and that's what i'd blame the entire spicejet to be failing at.

    I then rushed to the sales counter of spicejet inside the airport where there was just one staff while others airlines has minimum of two staffs. I requested her politely too to help me but she too was like maam i'm sorry i can't help now it's time already been up. Like seriously what the #? I was being kind and polite all the time from the time i entered airport and stood in queue, kept begging and asking and your staff were being ignorant all the while. This is shameless from your end. I can't really explain to what level i requested rather begged but your staff was busy with her phone call.

    I don't have any evidence for my presence there other than the cameras at the airport authority in bengaluru.
    Despite my efforts being a helpless girl and a student spicejet is responsible for my loss of flight, time and money.

    Now be to straight, consider and look up to my concern. It's been two days almost now and i'm writing this today only because it still irritates me that spicejet could get this cheap, ignorant and stand against the policy of "being for their customers".

    Simple, get me a refund of full amount of my flight and warn all your ground staff to next time never behave this cheap with their customers and end the matter before i sue spicejet. It won't take me long to file a huge complaint and about the evidence i'm very much okay to take this matter long and get the cameras at airport for my proof. You might win but i'll be satisfied to at lest get your name bad in the market and make your airlines have loss in number of passengers.

      Sir/Madam,
      I and my wife travelled from Delhi to Pune., on 21/4/18, by flight no.SG8938, PNR NO.L5Y8MI.
      The lady staff and the Gentleman on the counter, practically coaxed me, repeatedly, to pay Rs.1000/- for Premium seats, with meals served on board. I repeatedly refused but the lady staff on counter, said no no I am issuing the boarding pass and you have to pay Rs.1000/-, for premium seats as well we will get gree meals. Pl.note all this they told me in front of my wife, repeatedly. I therefore paid Rs .1000/- cash vide reciept number 3051 dt.21/4/18, at delhi airport, Terminal 2. Anyway, I got seat no 16 A and B, but the Hosstess refused to serve us any meals, and on insisting they served, one Roll to us.
      I asked her to pl.register my complaint in their, complaint Register if any.
      She assured me that the chief Attendent is doing so, but could not give me any complaint number or any proof.
      I, therefore, urge upon you to immediately Refund my Rs.1000/-, with damages and mental Harrassment, on part of your staff.
      And the lady ground staff, be reprimanded, by your superiors and a written APOLOGY be submitted to me.
      They are spoiling the Brand name of SPICEJET, as my arguments with the Hostess were being listened by atleast 5-6 people /fellow passengers on board.
      The question is not of a mere Meal, but what pained me and my wife, the way she forced us to pay, Rs.1000/-, and that too on a FALSE PROMISE OF MEALS TO BOTH O[censored]S. IS SHE GETTING SOME EXTRA COMMISSION FROM SPICEJET FOR ARMTWISTING OF PASSENGERS .
      I, therefore, seek the refund and written apology, that such type of things will not reoccur.

        Hi this is shruthi i got an email through timesjob for air ticketing and accepted that offer and there was 2 rounds of interview 1st was aptitude test and hr round. After that they told me to pay 5500/- for getting the offer letter and that would be refunded. After few days 7500/- and the 10500/- i have paid all the money to them and now they r not picking my call. Please help me with this.

          Apr14th sg-104, spice jet from maa - del i booked 5tickets all 5tickets are full fared, i collect my boarding pass (S) in that i got different number of 5 seat numbers in the boarding pass, but i entered into the aircraft they allot me only 4seats 3adults 2childrens i carried my 1children on my lap upto delhi, i searched for the seat inside the aircraft but there is no vacant how is it possible, i'm the regular traveller but this is the first time i travelled into spice jet very worst & fraud airlines i gave a complaint regarding this but they r not responding they need only money not passengers satisfaction.

            Service of spicejet is totally useless, my flight, kolkata to bagdogra (Sg 3287) supposed to be fly at 11:05 am but it is utterly late each time the spicejet service is increasing the flight delayed time by one hour. We only buy air ticket to reach our destination sooner..
            And the worst case spice jet is not also informing about the delayed schedule of the flight to the customers..

            Today (20.04.2018) I supposed to reach Bagdogra with SpiceJet flight SG3287. But without any prior notice they made the flight delayed by 4 hours..For that reaon i have lost too many business opportunity in Siliguri..We all buy air ticket to reach our destination sooner so buying Air-ticket from SpiceJet is totally useless..
            Delay in departure made too many business loss for me and i need compensation for that...If SpiceJet do not provide me any compensation i will post this incident to all social media as well as i will launch a complaint in Kolkata High court...

              I have booked a ticket for spicejet through makemytrip. The mistake i did is entering a wrong date. When i came to know it on seeing the e-ticket (After 5 minutes) i tried to cancel the ticket and shocked to see the refund amount. Total amount is 3500 and refund is 0. How could the service charge be the same as the ticket amount? I would say this as a day robbering...

                I had booked tickets for my parents on 30th of november from bagdogra to delhi. However there was a death in my family of my grandfather due to which they were not able to refund. I send the death certificate of my grandfather with the same document full refund was given by the other airlines. However the policies are so weird they kept on asking me the relation id proof. The customer service team does not know how to speak with the customers they were so robotic kept on saying the same information and the email department guy who had called me by my request disconnected the call twice. Is this the kind of customer service you provide this way you all will lose your customers. I had a very bad experience.

                Very poor customer service by spice jet.Dont have any ettiquetes to speak with the customers.
                Very very poor customer service. Will not travel in spice and also share my experience with my friends not to travel in spice jet in future.

                  Mine was corporate booking which by default has meal included and provides options to choose from onboard menu.. I chose from the available hotmeal options and prebooked my meal..! When i was trying to check in, all the seats were paid seats only middle ones were free, so i decided to go with spicemax option.. It asked me my meal choice but did not let me book anything except veg/non-veg..! When i called customer care about this, they said when you book spicemax all your prior meal choices would be wiped out abd you have to have default veg/nv options and whatever is available onboard, you would be offered that..! In my opinion, this is sheer stupid..
                  I technically paid twice for my meal.. Then also i am not allowed to choose my meal options..! — first of all the other airlines, gives free seat options for their corporate customers.. Even for their normally paid seats.. Which is not available for spicejet..! And on top of it, even after paying, you dont give the customer choice for their meal.. This feels like customers are being looted..! And this is not for the first time..

                    This is a complain regarding your ground staff at patna airtport her name is jyoti kumar singh, highly unprofessional and not knowing any rules i was carrying a liquid edible food and i have always done that before as well.
                    The security checked and said if the flight attendant is fine he’ll allow me to take that and she said the same for the security guy if he allows. If you guys don’t know the rules well don’t say thing to the customers.
                    She gave an excuse that it’s highly inflammable and that wasn’t true.
                    I suggest you to state the rules clearly or chuck these kind of knowledge less staffs or i’ll never board your flights being a very frequent traveller with you guys. This was the first time and expect it to be the last.

                      My flight was at 21:15 (Sg 424)... On that day i have reported to counter at 20:30, but they have not provided any support.
                      I think if they want they could help me at that time to board, because they were having 45 minutes to depart...
                      I want refund for my tickets and also wants that company should help their passenger (As your flights are getting delayed, in the same due to some unexpected reasons people may come late, if it is 10-20 minutes then it is difficult to help them out, but if more than 30-40 minutes is there then company must help them.
                      Service team must call them, just for confirmation and for providing better services to customer.

                        I booked the spicejet flight sg 3466 for my parents from coimbatore to bangalore for travel date 11 apr 2018 departing at 12:40pm with pnr ibfmvt.

                        Midway the flight experienced fire issues and smoke was filled.in 15-20mins they did emergency landing at bangalore airport far away from help. Help reached after 5-10mins in which the passengers where asked to jump through emergency exit.

                        Now i ll list down the complaints:
                        1. This is not the first time spicejet flights have faced this sort of issues. Are they not doing any health check of the flight before the departure???
                        2. Even if its a short run flight why oxygen masks are not available in the flight?? My parents where choking during the whole time.
                        3. They got their life back but they are injured severely because of jumping through the emergency exit which is too high for aged people and my dad is even having disc dislocation issues. Why there was no landing beds available?

                        Why are they even running the flights with out any emergency life savers.

                          Today i traveled with my family, specially with my infant baby which i had taken her to see doctor in mumbai, from goa to mumbai also i traveled by spice jet, but mumbai to goa was pathetic flight i ever traveled,
                          1- 1st of all flight was delayed from 11:30am to 3pm and i been not informed, no sms no phone calls and when i reached at airport through rush hour lady at the counter tells me flight is delayed so i have to take care of my infant girl at the airport with minimum facilities, my daughter went through difficulties lot,
                          2- when we finally board the flight we see many young people were traveling and they were misbehaving on board, in spite i requested flight attendant to inform but they were very noisey and was trabbleling my sick daughter and she kept on crying also full flight and she was disturbed very badly,
                          3- there was another big problem was cabin was temperature not maintained, it was so hot in cabin i had informed flight attendant but nothing changed it was hot like before, my infant girl was sweating and was uncomfortable whole flight.
                          4- flight was not pleasant, captain was dropping down boeing sudden and could feel the gravity force, i have taken many flights for my work purposes and i'm regular air traveler but i have never taken time to write complaints but today i did it because this flight was worst flight i ever traveled in my life.. Hope my feedback will taken seriously and will do needful towards it.. Thanks

                            The food we ordered 3 months prior to departure was showing subway in the sandwiches, but now u have changed the menu, i liked subway otherwise i would have chosen something else, the wrap u served was a # today and i just realised that i wasted my money on it and moreover i consider it a cheat or deception as while booking i requested for a subway and a corn sandwich so u should have availability for that as it was already booked meal, i didn't order it immediately, so overall experience good but food bad and next time if i am not ensured about the meal i would never order in spicejet, moreover the aerated drinks were not even given choice to us just given the shir drink common who doesnt have the availability for coke or pepsi i[censored] say so than i think u really need to change ur food team, indigo in comparision do take care of all these things and i got cans in my meal as selected not what u people provided just cost cutting. Some body made me cautious of spicejet food prior only but i took risk and i added it seperately afterwards, to my pnr no, but i now regret my decision.
                            I had put a small lock to my bag and this lock was broken by SpiceJet. I m amazed how to trust this airline.. I will never trust this airlines anymore!

                              They served me a non veg meal and i got a steel scrubber thread in the non veg patty. Have complaint it to the lady attendant she told me to wait as she will click the photograph for the same to escalate further. Waited for almost half an hour without starting the meal she did not turned up. Thereafter other 2 lady attendant came with the garbage bag to clear the food. I have given her to throw it in the garbage. But no one responded to the resolution to this issue neither none of them apologized or replaced the food. Finally i clicked the photograph and saved it in my mobile. Need proper resolution for such a poor quality food served which can be a fatal for an individual health

                                Let's start with unfolding the complete story here ruchi kharb, as i was travelling on the pnr gyqg6d and i am disappointed that you have failed to show appropriate care and concern to rectify the damage caused to me.in a most heartless manner, spice jet hides behind a nonexistent policy disclaimer. Your baggage disclaimer is clearly supportive of my claim since it only states that the airline is not responsible for wear and tear, handles, wheels etc. My new baggage was torn by negligence and carelessness your handlers. It has been forcibly ripped against something sharp, or one of your staff took a blade to it. Please refer to the photos.

                                Ms. Ruchi kharb discussed this over the phone and like a robot she told me that i can escalate if i want as if she knew that nothing will happen. Also she have written in the email thorough investigation was conducted and compensation of 1000 inr was advised accordingly but when confronted over the call she didn’t even knew what brand the baggage we were talking about and where the damage was on the baggage.

                                This baggage was booked under priority tag and still this is the kind of care taken for priority tagged bags, i am just assuming how do you handle normal baggage then? The

                                This issue is not settled. I fail to understand how the airline can deny responsibility for its action? Your airline has poorly trained its staff and the customer has to pay the price? I am aware that spicejet is an innovative low cost airline, but i had hoped that only applied to its fares and not its policies or behavior.

                                I took the suitcase to the american tourister dealer in delhi after returning from my journey, and was told it is not possible to repair the damage, it is permanent.

                                My fair expectation and demand is that spicejet replaces the suitcase with a new model or compensate the bill amount so that i can go and purchase a new one.

                                I will never get into a spicejet again, and will ensure that i can broadcast my bad experience to everyone i know, in person, via emails, facebook and any other medium i am able to. I will at least reach a few hundreds this way who will spread the message to a few thousands.

                                Please train your handlers to better care for luggage, after all it costs many times the airfare. Compared to your prompt response last time, i was surprised and saddened at your indifference this time.

                                  We are travelling from mumbai to hyderabad by flightsg703 at 22:45. As we boarded the flight on time but after they started on the runway they came to know that there is some technical issues so they told us it will take some 10 to 15 min they are fixing and almost after 45 minutes, when we asked that how much time they will take more then they informed us that it will take more 10 to 15 minutes till then they was no one informing anything such a unprofessional behaviour. The flight is delayed for an hour.

                                  We have not yet departed and nobody is bothered to inform us. They dont even have courtesy to provide some refreshments.. very poor service.

                                    As we carry an infant we get an extra 7kgs baggage. I have a question that how are we supposed to carry to 7kgs hand baggage and an infant?? Think over it before you put in such rules.. You should make it easier for us to travel. Here why don't u do it in such a way that 7+7 =14kgs and we can check in at the counter.. Then we have an handbag and the baby to carry.. This is how it should have been.. You team "spice jet" is making the trip a nightmare to travel with an infant alone..

                                      Hi
                                      I was flying with my family to port Blair from Delhi last month
                                      At the time of check in spice jet people took our luggage before giving us our boarding pass without scanning it
                                      Further they checked our handbags
                                      Just before the boarding these people told us that they are disposing my power bank which was in my luggage as it was not allowed to. They told us that it is written at the handbag checking counter that u have to keep your powerbank in hand bags

                                      Tell me when they took our luggage first then the warning should be displayed in the first counter or not

                                      This is very annoying that they took my power bank from my luggage and may be they have sold it outside at good prices

                                      Do some needful so that some other person does not loose his expensive stuffs

                                        This is JAYANTH from hyderabad i received a mail i am selected online process of spice jet so pay amount like that they are blamming like this so many unemploy people also paying money for this type of fraud mails so please kindly take necessary legal action about that issue
