Hi,
I have been applied an extra tax (trfd) on my credit card payment. I paid the bill before due date. But still the bank has charged me the extra tax on the payment. i am not understanding why the bank has charged me this tax as i have done my payment before due date. can you please help me out in this situation ASAP

    Hi,
    I have been applied an extra tax (trfd) of 3180 and 1971 rs on my credit card. Also I have been charged with interest of 1004 and 1608rs. Even though I made the payment bill before due date. the due date for my credit card but still the bank has charged me the extra tax on the payment. i am not understanding why the bank has charged me this tax as i have done my payment before due date. can you please help me out in this situation ASAP

      Hi,

      Hope you are doing well,

      I have a query which i had from last year regarding the EMI of my I phone 7 plus which i purchased last year sep 2022 from your Credit Card. I have been waiting to complete the EMI so that i can double check and ask for an Explanation.

      Now, I have purchased that phone for 16899/- and converted it to EMI for a processing fees of 253.48/-.

      In September 2023 i somehow managed to complete the EMI with a total Payment of 41000.62, i am not making this up i have calculated all the payments that i have done to the credit card with the E-Statements.

      All the statements from Last year september till now are attached with an excel file and a bill of the phone. Kindly cross check with your system and let me know why instead of 19099.89/- i have been charged 41000.62/-.

        I was using standard chartered bank as my salary account but due to their bad customer support I switched my salary account to ICICI.
        Due to some personal health problems, I am unable to visit the standard chartered branch to close my account. So I have been requesting Standard chartered to close my saving account over customer support calls and written emails. I have also communicated that I will complete all forms or procedures electronically. But they are not helping and forcing me to visit branch which i am unable to. They are continuously deducting maintenance charges in the meantime.

            I have a credit card ending in 8188 named for Yogita rao. I had an emi account and paid all the emi on time every month since 5 years. At times, they charged me late fee and I questioned why they said you did not pay on time. I asked them this why my due date. They change my die dates without prior notification every now n then. Hence, I cannot even setup auto pay on account. This last emi of mine was late due to date confusion only.
            Upon sending multiple emails n having calls over cx support. They said, the date keeps on changing but, you don't check your statement on email why. I do not have access to email of mine. Nd the sc application does not show anything. Not even details of my emi paid nd not paid amounts properly.
            I had raised this concern multiple time n the challenges that I face due to poor application n information n not sending sms to me prior. I had even asked not to change my due dates but no luck. I'm done with them.
            I want to take this matter legally now cuz I can't pay more. I am not at fault. I have paid all the payments n this late fee I can't take it. It hits my credit score. I can't take it.
            Not adding email that I have sent as I have nit received a single response. I do habe a call recording of todays conversation where she said, you have to pay as the bank changes the dates n charges are valid. I'm not payin n I can't pay. I can't send that recording if required.

            My credit cards due date is by 30 nov and then I will be charged a late fee again cuz I'm not paying the incorrect fee that has been charged to me after payin all the emi's of mine.
            My credit score got a hit cuz of incorrect late fee charged last time n it will hit again as I am not paying this fee that has been charged n you will charge me again. I will file a court case if you charge me again. I'm not sayin jus for the sake of sayin. I am serious.

                I used to have a standard credit card which in July 2023 I instructed the bank to close it I have the screenshots of the trial mail which I am attaching below but irrespective of my application the Standard Chartered Bank, I once called them and asked about the closure of my credit card they assured me that the credit card was closed in July itself and told me that all the mails which I'm receiving are fake, so I was confirmed that the bank associate had confirmed me that the credit card was closed in the end he also stated that that he will send me an NOC regarding the same on the recorded line but I never received one since then the standard chartered bank has continuously levied unnecessary charges on my credit card which has decreased my CIBIL score, hence I'm requesting you to rectify this enquiry.

                  I was using Standard chartered credit card for the couple of years. They used charge extra amount without any reasoning.

                  Complaint no.1

                  I am using SCB credit card [protected]

                  For single credit SCB seperating with two different account (Manhattan card no: [protected]) with different due with two different interest charges every month, I raised complaints on this to SCB, still they were doing the same different methods which no other bank credit card doing and extra charges cruelly.

                  I have purchased 3 product in EMI plan through Standard Chartered Bank credit card.

                  My total amount per month EMI will be less than Rupees !300

                  but every month the bankers sending extra billing Rs.2600 plus with hidden interest rates and late fee payment even I am do prompt payment which I am not supposed to pay for their improper and miscalculated bill.

                  SCB charging every month for the purchase which I didn't do from December, they told that they will revert the amount but instead I raised email after emails they were replying saying your billed amount will be reimbursed still they were adding the same bill again and again.

                  THIS IS EVERY MONTH INCREASING... And all their charges hidden in the total billing amount,

                  Now the zero transaction bill has come to 13600 without any purchase description.

                  13 emi out of 24 emi bill has been increased to huge amount as Rs 20400

                  Manhattn PLC Account [protected] INR 20, 445.67 DR 20, 445.67 DR

                  I have raised complaint after complaints to their consumer care, but instead of giving me solution again they are repeating the same error with more unauthorized fee amount.

                  I became mentally stressed and seriously ill through communicating with the SCB bank people.

                  I have attached my recent communication with the bankers, but they did not keep their promise in settle the total bill amount.

                  I request you Sir, to assist me to get rid of this unfair, miscalculated and unauthorized Credit Card Charges and get my money refunded back to my account with high charges.

                    I am unable to raise the fund transfer limit on my account - either through the online website or through the mobile banking app, I even tried calling customer care and getting the limit raised through them.

                    The website only allows me to decrease my limit, my limit cannot be increased on the website, I request you to allow me to increase my fund transfer limit immediately, this is a abuse of your powers and the depositors money is being kept hostage in your bank with such fraudulent tactics,

                      I paid my father’s credit card outstanding to a third party named Shaha Finlease who claims to be the official recovery agent of Standard Chartered bank. There’s no communication after they recovered the amount. I need to transfer my father’s home loan to other bank but they are asking for portfolio rights proof from Shaha Finlease on behalf of Standard Chartered bank. It’s not reflecting on Cibil as well.

                        Please refer my earlier telephonic calls made several months back (9-10 months approx.) to SCB Credit Cards Customer Service, email dated 24.09.2023 and recent telephonic discussions held with SCB regarding the subject matter and in response to SCB KYC related communication also for the said card.

                        Since I have not been owning/using the SCB Card xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-9205 and the same was cut in four pieces and cancelled several months back with due telephonic intimation to SCB Credit Cards Customer Care, I once again reiterate to revert all the charges levied on this card account immediately and close the same with immediate effect, if not cancelled / closed earlier.

                        Please also confirm about the reversal of charges and closure/cancellation of the said card permanently at the earliest.

                          I was standard chartered bank credit card user. I didn't use my credit card still they applied some transaction or charges on my credit card and does not even inform me by any communication. It became Lss in my cibil score. Now when I visit brave they told everything is clear and no amount to be paid. And account is closed. They are not giving us noc certificate too and making is travel too and fro from one branch to another.
                          I want Noc from bank to get my cibil score updated.

                            I have transferred 5, 00, 000/- (Rupees five Lacs) on 26th June 2023 from my Standard Chartered bank saving account number [protected]. IMPS transfer to my ICICI bank saving account. the said amount never credited to beneficiary account. I have complaint many time to Standard Chartered bank to Customer Care, on phone, in person at branch, on mail to grievance cell. to nodal office, but there is no resolution yet. Every time Standard Chartered refers to the transaction done on 23rd June 2023, which has no relevance to my complaint.

                              As per the bank credit card amount overdue message received of Rs 5394.18 which we had paid in full on February 3rd 2023 still after that the bank is sending overdue message of Rs 7300 and calling again and again and harrassing to make payment but we had paid in full and have evidence for that which we are attaching with this complaint registration form.We had also written a credit card surrender email and had also told them that we are not using the credit card any more requesting you to please look into the matter.

                                There is one lady from the standard chartered to whom i have shared all the payment screenshots and she assured me that NOC will come in 1 month. Her phone number is [protected]. Till last month she was attending the calls now she doesn't respond to my calls nor replying on messages. My card was ending with 4806 and 5464. She is harassing me mentally. First she told me that NOC was already issued and I have not collected it from branch. Then she told me to visit delhi branch on saturday but the credit card team was not available on that day. Then my husband visited last week. They told no NOC was issued. Now this lady is not responding. She has mentally harassed me from the last 2 years.

                                  A credit card loan amount of Rs.2, 90, 000/- and 1, 10, 000/- has been charged in my credit card. This loan amount was not borrowed by me. As i also have a saving account in the same back, the bank is also showing the saving account statement as the loan amount has been credited to my account. According to bank this loan was borrowed in the month of September 2019 and the statement says it has been converted to 60 months EMI amount. But, till day from September 2019 i have not received any card statements against this payment. After enquiring on customer care they say that all the payments till date i.e 45 EMI amount has been received from the bank FOR WHICH I HAVE NOT DONE ANY 45 EMI PAYMENT TILL NOW. The bank is telling me that the EMI amounts has been adjusted against excess payments done. There was no excess payment done by me. I am also not given the bank statements hard copy for both credit card and saving accounts even after multiple follows and requests raised in the bank. No actions has been taken even after personally complaining to customer care and complaint mails .I want the statements to be reversed and amount refund for the payments done against this credit card loan amount .

                                      They are charging TRFD of 921.63 rupees even after I cleared all the dues. I asked them to close my CREDit card and they said me to clear all dues.i cleared everything still they are showing this TRFD amount.first thing I didn't ask for EMI conversion but they started charging me monthly 927 rupees for EMI conversion.they didn't notify and auto debiting this amount from my account every month. When I raised a dispute through mail no one responded, then i called to their HELPline number, they always misleaded me by asking me to call the same HELPline number and when I connected finally I asked them "why are you charging EMI charges when I didn't opt for an EMI facility" .I have received a clueless answer, she told me"merchant have initiated the EMI " so they started this ### EMI charges without informing or atleast they didn't notify me through message or call about this.STAN C is not ethical in their business, they are exploiting the CUSTOMER's innocence and this is a crime and big shame on their part. They keep charging you on some hopeless reasons, it will never end. I honestly suggest anyone to not go with Standard Chartered Bank because it's a trap
