I have placed a request the foreclosure of my home loan account on 28-Apr-2023 and as per the guidelines provided by the SCB customer care service the total time period is 18 working days. Still they have not provided the letter and also they are not responding to any mails. I have spoken to them over phone multiple times and none of them is giving a confirmation by when they will be able to provide the letter. Even they are not disclosing any reason for the delay and always mention that we will raise it on priority but there has not been any advancement.

I dont know what are there intention but if letter is already issued then it holds its validity till 30 days and post that I wont be able to make any bank transfer.

    Ref.: Settlement of accounts dated 29/12/2011

    Dear Sir,

    As per the above reference of settlement of accounts of my personal loan no. 46837086 was paid by cheque no. 352403 dated 30/12/2011 for an amount of Rs. 7500/-

    After this payment, I did not get No Dues Certificate from Bank and CIBIL records are also not updated.

    Recently, i have paid Rs. 3720/- on 2nd May 2023 as directed by SCB Customer call centre

    However, inspite of repeated followup, i did not receive NDC and my SCB personal LOAN account status shows as Written OFF

    It is requested to do the needful by issuing NDC and update CIBIL records.

      Hi,
      I have been taking loans from friends and family to buy a new bike. You people debiting the amount of Rs 1178.82 in the name of "DP CHG TILL APR[protected] INCS.TAX" in my account number #[protected]. I don't even receive a debit message for that.

      Can anyone explain why it was done without any notice?

      I want my money back.

        I took a personal loan from the bank in January 2023 clearly stating that I want to foreclose my loan at the earliest, the bank suggested that If I continue the same for 3 months, the bank will waive off foreclosure charges, and I did continue the same. Later when I tried foreclosing, Bank said that after 6 months they can foreclose the loan with 3% including GST foreclosure charges. I continued the loan for 6 months, paying EMI diligently. Now, its been 2 months for continuous follow up and the bank's customer care keeps providing me with incorrect pre-term quotation with foreclosure charges at the rate of 3.5%. I have chased them regularly, visited branch as well on many occasions and have been trying to close my loan. I have all correspondences over email which I can provide as evidence. Even Bank's own personnel have mailed the customer care several times stating this fact, but still the customer care is unresponsive.
        Seems like bank is doing this deliberately to fetch more EMIs from me.

          You guys have levied an unnecessary interest charges on my card. I always make total amount due and that too before due date. Last month I didn’t received the statement just received an sms stating unable to deliver statement. Didn’t even received the sms alert for due amount. I made the payment of 23000 instead of 23400. Because ofRs.400 you have levied charges of around 2000+GST. Please reverse these charges otherwise I would have to escalate further. I am a very loyal customer of standard chartered and using this as primary card. In case you guys would not reverse this, I would have to close the card.

              I have requested Standard Chartered Bank to close my Credit Card 4months ago, but till now they have not closed my credit card and they charging extra money every month without my knowledge.

              I have called SC, customer care service many times but they are not supporting with information and disconnecting the call with giving any information.

              I have made complete payment my CC but i do not what is challenge for closing my CC.

                Hello All, I have taken a loan of 5 lacs against the standard charted credit card with for two years EMI(24 months) I was paying the emi within due date and already paid 15 installments . Suddenly after paying the 15th emi on 11 march one more bill got generated where they are asking to pay me 227, 473.96 before the bill date. i have send them mails many times to get it clarified but they were not able to provide me any clarification why i need to pay that amount. Even i paid the amount of 225, 470.16 and again they are sending me mails that i need to pay the below amount as outstanding. We would like to inform you that, as of this date, there is an outstanding balance of INR 3, 038.80 and INR 10, 468.02 towards your card account ending in 4552 and 3112. Attachinglast 3 statements for your reference . Please let me know if you need any further details from my end

                    Hi,

                    I this is jagadeesh, i used to be a customer of SCB. I went to abroad for job purpose so I didn't close my credit card and didn't use it for more than a year (may be that was my mistake) and they have used my credit card in India. I didn't get a chance to block it since I didn't get any OTP for transaction and they have started calling me, my HQ, disturbed all the departments (accounts, HR, operations, etc...). One day I've visited their branch and settled the issue since I don't want them to disturb others.

                    I didn't take a single credit in India after this incident but I've multiple credit cards in abroad which are safe.

                    All this happened in 2017/18, year is not sure and the issue was resolved.

                    Now in 2023 28th March, again I'm recieving messages to clear the remaining amount to improve bureau status and to obtain no due certificate.

                    I'm fully confused, why they are sending these messages after 4+ years.
                    It's like a nightmare for me whenever I see a message from SCB.

                    My credit card last four digits are 3470.

                    How to get rid of these people. Are these practices as per the RBI regulations?

                          I BOUGHT PLOICY OF RS 32, 500/- after that she's told me your od will activate after 18days receiving policy hard copy after your od will come, but Indian first life insurance policy having only 15 days free look cancellation period,
                          BUT now the person is not responding as she told me. My loan has been approved. And account will be open shortly and amount will be released.
                          She is not receiving my call at all
                          So plzz do needful from standard chartered Bank & RBI www.rbi.com

                                  I did not exceed my credit card limit still thev have charged me the amount of 890 rs. Without informing. And the never mentioned this thing anywhere. As per the reviews seems like its happening with every scb coustomer.

                                    Sir,
                                    I have purchased 3 product in EMI plan through Standard Chartered Bank credit card. My total amount per month EMI will be less than Rupees 2000, but every the bankers sending huge bills with interest rates and late fee payment I am not supposed to pay for that.
                                    I have raised complaint to their consumer care, but instead of giving me solution again they are repeating the same with more unauthorized fee amount.
                                    I became mentally stressed through communicating with the bank people. I have attached my recent communication with the bankers, but they did not keep their promise in settle the total bill amount.

                                    I request you Sir, to assist me to get rid of this unfair, miscalculated and unauthorized Credit Card Charges.

                                      I have paided full amount upto nov, 2022. At the time balance is 0. I am raising request upto 3 times to close card but no response.They providing charges for every month.And also they are sending mail ...without pay your credit score will affect. I didn't use card for 3 months. Raised Request also above 3 times.How can i pay for unused card. If they didn't close card that is their mistake. This is not good for customer support. I am sending mail via cusomer complaints forum and online banking. They said only need to pay the amount for unused card.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have requested for EMI date from 5th to 7th Each month ( I have already informed to loan department at time of disbursement in the month of Nov-2022 itself)

                                        I have already requested to Standard Charted Bank many time through mail to extend my EMI Date from 5th each month to 7th each month but request not initiated .My salary credited on every 5th late night and fund available at 6th that day to make payment to avoid penalty or bounce charges

                                        After many time request to customer care, no one is responding properly, and this time emi bounce back and charges extra penalty. Thereafter i paid through bill desk for last month emi

                                        It also affected on my cibil score due to bounce back .

                                        Please requested to change EMI Payment date from 5th Each month to 7th Each for smooth payment on schedule time without any delay and to avoid extra penalty but again and again refusing for the same
