i Lokesh Pant tried to withdraw 9000rs on[protected] from state bank of Hyderabad (SBH) situated in beghumpet, machine gave the sound of like counting money but nothing came out and after some seconds message displayed on screen that your transaction has been cancelled, i tried to do transaction again but every time same message was displayed, then i waited there so other can use the atm but nobody else was able to use the atm machine, so i approached to other atm about 1km ahead where i withdraw 5000rs and when i checked my mini statement it shows 9000rs has been debited from my account and i.e cash withdrawal on the same date which was not possible because i didn't make any cash withdrawal. so on 28-06-11 i approached the branch and narrated the whole story then branch official told me that i have to wait for 48 hrs and that amount will automatically deposited in my a/c. again on 30-06-11 i checked my balance but 9000rs was not deposited in my a/c, when i told the same to branch official about it and asked for the procedure to get my money back they told me i have to visit my base branch which is situated in Moradabad(U.P.)right now its not possible for me because i am living in Hyderabad (A.P). please help me out so i can get my money back.

      A very long delay in opening of Demat account
      Dear,Sir
      I had applied for Demat account in Feb in SBI, Birpur, Branch, Dehradun(UK) 908042 in the guidance of SBI Demat A/c executive Priyanka and handed over the form to her. After One month she intimated me that in demat opening form my dacument are missing. In June again after proper filling the form & with proper documents .

      Now after approx 5 months, my SBI demat A/c is still to open and now your executive Priyanka not responding to my calls. His behavior is just damaging the image of State Bank of India in my mind. So, I request you to take needful action against him. and advice me that should i go for other demat a/c products. In other companies my demat a/c may be opened in one week time only.

        I Miss Sonali Oswal a Saving Account holder in Daund branch (00365) of State Bank of India want to lodge a complaint about the inconvenience I am facing regarding my ATM card.
        I had blocked my ATM card on 21st June'11 and as I found my card back in 24hrs I went to the Daund SBI branch to unblock the ATM card but the employees here are unable to do so.
        They are unaware of the correct procedure for unblocking ATM card.I had sent email on Jun 30, 2011 to lho.[protected]@sbi.in regarding this matter.

        SBI — unblocking of my atm card

        i lost my atm card later i found it they are not unblocking even after 2 visits to branch with the written complaint. my branch and presently where i live are not in same state and i can't visit my native palce very often. call center insist that it will be done by branch i don't understand how much time will it take and the company has thoroughly harassed me.

            I tried to call toll free numbers and customer care number listed in the State Bank of India official web site. all numbers are always busy.
            when i contacted the branch they gave me another number and lucky it was a working number and i got customer care officer and i enquired about one of my request which i made with SBI. he was not able to answer and he told he also don't know. he suddenly told me if i am not happy with this service, I can send SMS 'UNHAPPY' to [protected] they will contact you. i say thanks to the officer as he shows interest in solving my issue and as per that i send SMS also.
            Here comes the funny part. The same officer called me and told he is calling because he got SMS for which i got the same answer.
            The customer care of SBI is managed and solved by single person. it is appreciated that all the customers are handled by a single officer and he deserves and award. Or to show there are no complaints with SBI and even one person can handle the complaints..
            Any way the customer care of Nationalized Bank like SBI is an one man show with a normal answer "I DON'T KNOW".

              Sir,

              I, Ms. Rubina Sahu, am using regularly my SBI ATM card for SBI account at SINGTAM (7515), East Sikkim for cash withdrawal at Jajpur Road, Odisha. But unfortunately, on 1st July-2011, while withdrawing Rs. 1000/- through AXIS BANK ATM at 18:39, the error message that I got as printed output was TRANSACTION DECLINED. UNABLE TO PROCESS. But, on 5th July-2011 while I am trying for a ministatement, i found that the previous Rs. 1000/- was debitted from my account.I want to get my money back. Please solve the problem.

While I was making the fee payment during registration of 5th semester by MP Online (website: www.mponline.gov.in) using my Debit Card via Portal service, the web page was lost due to server problem.                     The account no. [protected] is a loan account in State bank of India , Puranpur, Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. It is to be realized through advanced / post dated cheques. The bank started realization of the loan amount through the cheques from march 2003. It is also be noted that the mode of payment is through post dated cheaques. The bank kept on realizing the loan amount in aforesaid manner till February, 2004 i.e. 4. 2. 2004. And then it suddenly stopped the realization of loan without rhyme or reason. No communication was sent to complainant for changing the preferred mode of repayment. Therefore the loan which should have been paid by February 2006 is still pending due to inordinate delay of bank in realizing the loan.

                      Dear Sir,

                      I regreat to inform you that, after several communications made with the branch as well as with the head office at Bhubaneswar and Mumbai, My issues are still not resolved.

                      My details are as follows:

                      Fact:

                      My first complaint made vide letter no-036/2009 dated 06/03/2009.

                      All those corresponding letters are enclosed here with this complaint.Please find the same for your references.

                      Initially the complaints were mede to credit the pension amount into the benificiary account after the death of the actual pension holder along with to credit the arrears of pension of pre-2006 (for the period[protected] to the same benificiary account.

                      But, after a several communications/complaints made with bank ( customer help desk at Bhubaneswar), the bank has credited the arrear amount to the deceased account, NOT to the benificiary account.

                      My objection in this regard was that, as per the grneral rule, the pension amount includes arrears of pension, any interest on the same or any penalities received on the same. Therefore the arrear of pension should also have been credited to the benificiary account and NOT to the deceased account. Even when we have opened a fresh account (in the name of spouse of the deceased person) inorder to get effect all transactions related to the pension of the deceased person, how the arrear amount credited to the deceased person's account.
                      In the mean while, as per the life certificate requirement, the benificiary (Complaintant) stood before one of the branch (SBI, Hadapsar, Pune, Maharastra) as she is staying at Pune and the dully filled-up form along with proper seal has sent to the concern branch (SBI, Malkangiri, Orissa) through POSTAL, and even we have received the acknowledgement for that, that the document have received with in its due date. But the regular pension amount is also not crediting now-a-days to the benificiary account since December 2010.

                      Last but not least, we are asking for the transfer of the pension account to PUNE(MH) from MALKANGIRI (Orissa) but such transfer is also getting delayed for no reason.

                      Loss Caused:

                      -Mental egony.
                      -Difficulties faced to live the day-to-day life for delayed crediting of pension since the death of the deceased person.
                      -Time Value Of Money.
                      -Opportunity Loss ( Interest cost on such amount which were suppose to have credited in the account from their due dates.)
                      -Consulting fees paid on such matter.
                      -Others (Stationaries, Ph bills, Fax cost, Postal cost, Internet cost etc..)

                      The relief sought :

                      Amount involved : Rs 2,50,000 (Appx.)

                      Compensation amount : Rs 1,00,000 (excluding Interest and penalities)
                      Note: Interest and penalities should be paid as per the legal requirements made under the SBI and RBI rules and regulations.

                      I t is a common complaint. Some pensioners do not visit regularly. They do not go through bank pass book thoroughly.Some of them do not under-
                      stand entries properly In many cases arrears are paid automatically.Still there is a common complaint. Annexure III issued by S B I in many cases
                      are found incomplete.Many entries are missing.The say the original department from where the pensioner retired did not provide complete information. It is true in many cases.Who is to blame? There are two methods of calculating 6th PC pension for pre 2006 Retirees. Namely
                      (1) Consolidation Method (2) Modified Parity Method. Whichever method gives higher amount is to be accepted. But i many case only
                      "Consolidation Method " shown and printed! Modified Parity Method is not printed at all! Who is the loser? What is the solution!

                        Sir,
                        I am the customer of SBI, at SIRSAGANJ branch of Firozabad district o[censored].P with savings bank account No.[protected] with the customer name B P THIRUPALU. In the month of Oct, 2010, I have been transferred from Bihar to U.P. Till date, after many requests submitted in the branch, I did not get the cheque book. When I approach the manager for the same, he says what can I do our data base is showing that the cheque book has been sent. He showed his unability and said If want to complain, I could complain. I have a housing loan. For that I have to give post dated cheques. I have been facing problem for the last 10 months. Not only that I had submitted an application for the sms facility activation for my mobile to know the transaction of my account. I gave an application to unlock my ATM card. These two problems are also not solved yet though gave the applications three months ago. I am fed up with the services of the SIRSAGANJ branch of SBI. Please solve my problems as early as possible.

At the time of opening of account I have requested for Internet-banking facility and also marked in the account opening form. The Branch Manager had informed that I will get my internet-banking username and password through post.

                          I am having a SBI saving account vide account no.[protected], Branch at Main Branch Varanasi, UtterPradesh-221002. At the time of opening of account I have requested for Internet-banking facility and also marked in the account opening form. The Branch Manager had informed that I will get my internet-banking username and password through post.

                              I have withdraw 23,000 amount from the SBI atm @ Rpc layout Bangalore
                              i recived 23 notes of 1000 face value. and i have deposited same notes to ICICI vijayanagar baranch after 10 minutes. ICICI cashier telling that 2 notes are fake. and i went to SBI bank manager but he is not ready to take responsiblity. i have loss of Rs. 2000 becoz ICICI people are not giving those fake notes to me.so what can i do for that please give me suggestion.

                                  I , Mrs. Parul, has current ac no [protected] at SBI CV Raman Nagar (Bangalore) Branch.
                                  After opening this account, Jan 2011, I approached the Branch Manager for installation of a swipe machine for her small business. I was asked to contact the other person (Mr Umair). Umair advised me that some paper formalities have to be completed from the branch side and the request has to be forwarded through concerned branch only.
                                  Other banks charge 2% on commission on transactions, SBI has asked me to agree for 3% commission and even after this also the machine is not installed.
                                  It is brought to your kind notice that, apart from the above account, my husband’s Defense pension account, my sb account, both sons sb accounts and some FDs are existing at the branch since I stepped into bangalore 10 years back being in IAF. Inspite of a due respect as an old customer, till now the machine has not been installed yet after a period of 6 months.
                                  As I pay for every service from the bank I am supposed to get the quality service from the bank being the purspose of the business.
                                  Inspite of the repeated reminders, several efforts, requests, meeting the branch, calling people whomsoever is the responsible, the machine has not been installed. Sometimes the person is on leave, meaning the nation will stop working if a person from bank who is responsible for same takes leave.
                                  Also the bank is not efficient enough to provide me this service.

                                        I had received a cheque from an account holder of sbi branch code 98 in feb'2011. Deposited the cheque in my canara bank cbdt,bangalore branch. My bank sent the cheque for clearance to the sbi.Sent several reminder.No response from sbi.Personally I've called the branch. Phone keeps on ringing.None never received the call.I'M not in position to seek money from the person who issued the cheque.No sbi personnel is available.Chairman, dgm, branch manager, tried to contact customer care.All phone numbers keep ringing.None ever talked till now.Canara bank saying they are helpless.
                                        Sir, i have deposited a cheque No. 900680 for the amount Rs.62000/- on 10 Nov 10, to my sbi saving account ([protected]). The cheque was issued from LIC, maharajgunj. The said amount of cheque has not been materilised in my account till yet. After repeated visit to the branch no posistive response was given to us.
