          Complaint Against State Bank Of India

          I Avinash Kumar Singh, hold a credit card with SBI, my card no is : [protected], I have been harassed by this bank for the past 6 months since July 2015, they have processed for settlement against my card outstanding without any instructions from my end & without my consent in November 2015 after my earlier dispute related to charges was resolved & I had made the payments as well in November 2015, and if they had processed settlement then where is the statement or letter, do they have any proof where I have instructed for the same, do they have any proof of receipt for the same from my end.


          And when settlement was processed then how could they charge interest against the statement generated in Decemeber 2015???


          Pathetic service from this bank and its customer service representatives, 9 out of 10 times supervisors are not available for any complaint.
          It takes months to get a issue resolved with them, my recent instance is that I had logged a complaint on 30 12.2015, bearing complaint no : 1-[protected], I was told then that my complaint would be resolved within 3 working days & I would get a call back for the same within 3 days.
          I didnt receive any response till 06.01.16, when I called the customer care on 06.01.16 as usual senior supervisor was not available and I was confirmed that I shall receive a call the same day from SBI card team end, again no information was given to me.


          Today again when I called the customer care, after my warning that I would escalate this issue to banking ombudsman a senior supervisor spoke to me and again he didnt help me with my complaint instead as usual was busy buying with me.


          I m now highly upset with their service and their this step of opting for settlement without my consent has taken my frustration to a very high level as this would get updated in my cibil as well.


          Due to their disgusting service I had stopped making payments, in Sept 2015 one of their representatives assured me to solve my issue raised since July 2015 and get my new address updated as since February 2015 I had called up many times to get my address updated but they never helped me for the same. Despite taking payment these people didnt update my new address. Again I stopped making payments as my both issues were not resolved, my charges issue was finally resolved in first week of November 2015 and I made the payment immediately on 06 or 07th November 2015, now after this payment was received these people have opted for settlement without my consent or without informing me.
          Would request you to help me and take severe action against SBI card for harassing customers like this.

            Complaint Lodged through tole free No.and registered by the authority vide their ticket No.AT[protected] dated 16/01/2016 and on 19/01/2016 they informed me through SMS that they raised claim with ATM Branch and the complained will be resolved within 7 days.
            Matter taken up with SBI ( Rajpur, Bauipur & SPB BR) with no effect.
            Earnest request to refund above money to meet my pecuniary liability immediately.

                On 25th Jan'2016, In gujarat, surat, shivaji circle SBI ATM I am tried to withdraw X amount, but in my account there is insufficient balance, but this time I have tried 3 times for the same amount, SBI taken 17rs charges for each try, is it ok?

                What if when SBI ATM does not have a sufficient cash and we are come back without our money which we want to withdraw.

                Kindly request SBI to stop all this hidden charges which is not relavant.

                    I had cleared all dues exactly on the due date and wanted to close the card, when i called up customer care after some days they claim to pay more money to close. This late payment due is continuing every month and not got a solution for it. Why should someone pay for not using it?

                      Sir,

                      I applied for a Housing Loan in SBI and an amount of Rs. 9, 50, 000/- has been sanctioned on verifying my records. The cheque for the said amount was signed on 19.11.2015 in the Name of Executive Enginneer and Administrative Officer, Tamilnadu Housing Board, Madurai. I have requested the the concerned manager on 19.11.2015 to give the cheque to me on proper acknowledgement so that the same may be deposited by me in person to Tamilnadu Housing Board, Madurai. But, the Manager concerned replied to me that the cheque should be disbursed to the Tamilnaadu Housing Board, Madurai on the next day (i.e 20.11.2015) through a special messenger. Then a xerox copy of cheque was given to me and the same was produced to the housing board office by me. And the balance amount apart from the loan amount was settled by me to the housing board.

                      But the the cheque was not disbursed to Tamilnaadu Housing Board, Madurai on 20.11.2015.But the interest and EMI for the Home Loan of Rs.10, 089/- was deducted by the branch on the date of 19.11.2015 (i.e the date of cheque signed), By means of cheque, as I have already given cheque leafs to the bank. The cheque (home loan)was disbursed to Tamilnadu Housing Board, Madurai only on 11.12.2015, after making several calls to the RAMSECCC and SARC, Madurai branch.
                      I have paid the interest amount of Rs.9000/- to Tamilnadu Housing Board for the period from 20.11.2015 to 10.12.2015 for the delayed disbursement of cheque, which had to be issued by the bank on 19.11.2015.

                      So, i request you to take necessary action for the delayed disbursement of cheque by the State bank of India, RAMSECCC and SARC of Madurai branch and for the mental agony caused to me by the bank.
                      I also request you to instruct the Branch to remit the amount of Rs.9000/- (i.e the amount paid by me to Tamilnadu Housing Board, Madurai due to delayed disbursement of chequeby the Bank for the loan amount of Rs.9, 50, 000/- )

                          I am account holder in sbi branch bareilly. There are many more problems with the timing ofor the staff they takes 1 to 1:30 hrs for lunch it's ok but they comes and take more time to talk with his staff and they don't care the value of other persons time...they take more time with one person. When I ask about the complent register then the staff don't give me a register..
                          I request to you plz take the possible step for your bank reputation

                            Dear sir/Madam,

                            I had applied for a SBI Simple save credit card. I got verification call from a lady and it was all done. Even the guy from bank told me that it was processed and approved by the system and is moved to HQ.

                            I got one message from SBI stating your application is under process. Then next day under online status of SBI credit card, it said,

                            "We regret to inform you that your SBI Card Application could not be processed since it does not meet our policy. We thank you for your time."

                            I have given all the documents .Please tell me what are the reasons for rejecting my application. And how to apply again.

                              Hi sir, I am sravanthi, I deposited money 5000/- thorugh the CDM on 18/01/2016 at Balkampet branch, Hyderabad. at that time, CDM was stuck while validating cash. I complianed this problem at branch, but they said automatically money will credit in your account after restarting machine, it takes 2days. they said. but till now i didn't get money. again i visit the branch they are not giving proper information. please solve my problem. it's very urgent sir. life n death problem. pleaseeeeee..

                                This is Sushil from ludhiana. I ported my [protected] from (Tata Docomo) postpaid to reliance 15 days back.. i submitted my address proof and id proof in reliance outlets at gill road Ludhiana (Punjab). and 3 times i gave complaint that my no incoming and outgoing has been stopped by some reason i don't know . but reliance having worst customer acre service so they didn't solve this issue till now.. as per trai rules details will be updated within 7days from date of activation .Reliance customer service is worst service i ever seen.

                                  Pls see that there r more counters and all r at work because though there are 6 counters only 2 r at work rest all arr closed there r so many lines I entered the bank just to collect my passbook at 11:30 and I came to the counter at 2:30 what is this we all have jobs we don't have time to waste and i[censored] say that all the members r working and every sector is doing there job properly than why so much of time a customer enters and the whole day goes.very very very poor pls see to this matter.

                                  I am a Defense pensioner since the year 1991 and was drawing my pension from central Bank of India. For my convenience I requested for change of Bankers to my A/c No-[protected], State Bank Of India, Br Code-4178, IFSC code-SBIN0004178 S.C Road, Jawahar Nagar, Ernakulam-682020 .
                                  It was confirmed by CPPC Central Bank that my pension accounts were transferred to CPPC, SBI, to credit my pension from the month of Feb 2016 to my new account with SBI. Since I did not get my pension for FEB 2016, I have written to CPPC Trivandrum to do the needful. I approached my home branch and they were helpless in this matter. I understand there are lot of new files pending with CPPC .
                                  I just want to tell you that this my only lively hood and it will be highly appreciable if a prompt action can taken to get my legitimate right immediately.

                                      I was reached by a credit card customer care agent from SBI, named Arun. He offered me a credit card (Simply save card) with a credit limit of Rs. 2.86 lakhs and cash limit of Rs 40000. More over a credit manager from the bank named Santhosh had called me saying that my CIBIL score is very good (780/800) and so only they are offering me a credit limit of Rs. 2.86Lakhs. I submitted my documents and in just 2 days I received the card and to my astonishment that credit limit was only Rs.27, 000 and cash limit was only Rs. 8100. I immediately rang back to the credit manager who promised me that he will get back about the same the very next day. He came back the next day with another offer saying that my credit limit was increased to Rs. 2.7 lakhs and cash limit to Rs. 70000 and told me that he has sorted out the issue and will get the confirmation in 3 working days. Now its been a week, I have been waiting for the confirmation. I rang back to Santhosh again, who said he will get back after checking why it is delayed.. Now ever since then my number has been blocked. I reached out to Arun on 25th Jan 2016, he said he will talk to his manager and get back in an hour. He has also blocked my number now. I spoke with another executive called Diya, who said she will revert after reaching office and she too blocked my number. I'm feeling like a fool now. The card that I have now has a bill generated for Rs.499+tax which is the annual fee. I'm completely dejected by these ill mannered professional who for completing their monthly targets make a fool out of people. I have not even activated this card. not even obtained a pin for the card, but now I have to pay an annual fee for not even using the card. I'm holding a HDFC credit card for the last 1 year for which I'm judiciously paying the bills for my usage. I wanted a better credit limit and that too the same bank where my salary account is there, so I thought it is better, but fell for their crooked play. I want to cancel this card and do not want to pay the annual fee as I have not even used it. I also have spent lot of money and time in reaching these people for solving this issue but have been played on by them.

                                        I just deposited rs 1700/- in sbi branch not my home account branch.the sbi has deducted rs 57/- has inter city bank charges.i just got shocked by seeing rs57 for just deposit of 1700/- .too much of inter city charges.I just dont agree with this from sb.i if it rs10 or rs 20 is ok for 5000/- but 57/- is very high for sbi.the rbi and sbi should think over it.they are sucking the people money like any thing.too much of service charge for inter branch transfer.
